Faruja Faruja isn't about to let a good agent go without council. After receiving the letter, the rat offered an invitation to the nezumi's home. It's relatively modest for the city, and probably under what the Inquisitor could reasonably acquire. A squire would be taxed with leading Allyn through the city and to the home, whereupon he'd be greeted by a trio of lamia in nun's habits of all things.

Soon enough, it's to the distinctly /red/ sitting room of the rat's, a fire already blazing and wine set out for the pair. The nezumi sits in a pair of robes, rather fluffy looking ones, and smiles.

"Welcome, Ser Allyn. Come, sit. Wine? Shall I fetch ye anything?"
Allyn Allyn makes his way into the sitting room where Faruja is waiting for him and when he sees his ratfriend he wags his tail and well, since there is drink and such he shifts to his human form, before wandering over and making himself comfortable, "Sure, I wouldn't mind some wine, I think I need it lately." he chuckles some and then smiles. "Thank you for seeing me."
Faruja Faruja crosses himself, nodding slowly. "'Tis mine duty and pleasure, My Child. I understand ye wish to speak of this...'anger of the forest' that plagues ye oft?" Starts the rat gently, crossing his legs before sipping his drink.

"Start at the beginning. How long hath ye felt this? Were ye afflicted with it, something more...natural?"
Allyn Allyn nods some and ponders when asked to start at the beginning, "Well, as you know I am have been travelling some, seeing a few other places and helping out where I can." he ponders again, thinking, "Well, this place Ezorea, in an area called the black shroud there is a great forest that had been mostly destroyed by a creature called Bahamut. The forest is angry and hurting there. We were helping some people there try to calm it and because of the anger of the forest. I began wanting to help the forest get revenge."

He frowns some, "I almost killed the summoners that were trying to appease the elements there. I only feel it there though the anger is becoming less slowly and a woman known as a seedseer gave me a necklace that blocks the anger mostly for now."
Faruja Faruja rubs his temple slightly, pondering the whole situation as he listens. His tail flicks slowly and rhythmically as he does so.

'Bahamut' gets the rat's attention, and he's leaning forward slightly.

"Truly? I am curious what hath sparked the great Esper's anger. /Very/ curious. However, let us not concern ourselves with that at this juncture."

"Anger is both a great weapon, and a poison, Allyn. If ye feel the strain of nature itself, then ye art truly afflicted. Simply put, methinks ye aught learn to control it. Such great rage may well be used to defend and destroy evil. However. If 'tis wild and striking vengefully without purpose? Ye become little more than a beast. And a beast is one thing ye art not, nay matter what form ye choose to take."

"May I see this necklace?"
Allyn Allyn nods and he takes the necklace off and hands it over. "Sure you may see it."

He ponders Faruja's words for a few moments, thinking them over, "I think that is true. I am not sure how to control it though. I've never faced anger and pain like that before, so it is a somewhat foreign feeling if you know what I mean." he frowns and sighs a bit, "It does bother me though, it is like losing control of myself and shifting into this form you see right now wasn't able to dull it any either. I am connected to nature after all."

He shrugs a little and still looks a bit sad over the fact, "Finna has been keeping me in check though, she has been there with me." that has him smile a little though, thinking of the other shapeshifter.
Faruja Faruja mm's lightly, inspecting the necklace. Then, he looks away.

"So ye art. Mmm. Might I suggest ye acclimate thineself? Go with Lady Finna. Find those lands whom nature is wounded, angered, but not yet so murderous. Help /heal/ them, Allyn. Feel the anger of these places. And come to master that anger, turn it into strength ye may use to preserve Faram's gifts upon the world! Ye hath a good mentor in the Lady...if a tricky one."
Allyn Allyn nods to Faruja and ponders, "That might not be a bad idea. I think I understand what you mean, if I expose myself to it slowly, then I can get used to it? Then it might be easier to fight if it becomes stronger? Do it in stages maybe?" he ponders, "Do you think I could eventually learn to go against it?"
Faruja Faruja smiles widely. "I do believe ye can, Allyn. Come now. Ye art skilled, unique, and courageous! Shall ye truly yet allow a few pieces of distressed foliage turn ye into a slavering beast? I wouldst be quite insult if ye didst so!" The rat then huffs slightly.

"/Confidence/, mine child. Little by little, ye shall come to know, and master thine emotions, and these thrust upon ye. Ye hath friends whom art willing to be there for ye. And ye art making allies in Eorzea as well. How couldst ye fail?"
Allyn Allyn nods to Faruja and smiles, "Well, you are right. Finna and I have been doing a lot of good there too. We didn't do too well in the fight against Ifrit, but we still make a good team. We are doing what we can to help out though, but don't worry we are still waiting to be called back here to help as well." he winks to Faruja, "So I hope you do not think we have abandoned you."

He nods to the other words, "I will learn to master them and yes, I know I have friends that will be there. It is why I sent you the missive that I did. You are my friend and I know you will support me when I need it. Though I think you'll be glad to know I am actually not acting as withdrawn from others as I once did, like when we first met." he chuckles.
Faruja Faruja nods between refilling his cup. "Ivalice is currently in something of a state of...not quite peace, but a stalemate. The attack by Alexandria hath caused Archadia to re-evaluate its own position. Alexandria rallies its troops. And we Ivalicians sit upon the middle, wondering whether they shall join forces whilst we gather what troops and resources we can. A two front war is...undesirable."

A single clawed hand rises. "/However/. How art ye with fallen spirits, Allyn? There hath been troubling accounts of increases in the number of restless dead in a particular woods. I wouldst like ye and she to investigate, and if needed, destroy the unquiet dead."
Faruja Reaching over, Faruja swats Allyn on the shoulder companionably. "Ye hath grown much! Well adjusted, even! Make ye a civilized wolf yet." He teases lightly.
Allyn Allyn nods some and smiles, "Well, I hope the gil I have been sending has been of aid to Ivalice. Since I do not really have a need for money of my own, though I have kept a little for myself I will admit. I do like to buy things sometimes." he chuckles and then shakes his head, "I'll never be fully civilized, but I think Finna has been a good influence on me and we're quite the fearsome team if I say so myself."

He raises an eyebrow at the mention of undead and growls a little and then nods, "Of course, I will talk to her and let her know that there is something that needs to be looked into. I will be happy to help in that."
Faruja Faruja grins a bit here. "Hath I shown ye the pictures, Allyn?" He turns about, scruffling about on a side table. He takes out a manilla envelope, opening it. Inside are several pictures of a red stone building, an Abbey. There's at least eighteen children and several Sisters and Brothers of various Orders, almost all smiling.

"Ye hath helped give orphaned children a home, Allyn. But please, doth not forget thineself. Nor if ye require anything, shouldst ye shrink from asking. Ye art mine agent, ye art entitled to mine resources within reason."

A nod. "I trust thee. Lady Finna is adept at her arts, as art ye. Typical Exalted overexhuberance, but frankly? That is what I am countin on. I fear 'tis nay simple uprising of the deceased. Whatever the cause, I needst ye two to be loud about the whole affair. Make thineselves a threat."
Allyn Allyn looks at the pictures and smiles some as he studies them. Well, he's never really seen pictures too much before, so they are a little strange. "These people aren't trapped in here, right?" well they probably wouldn't be smiling if they were, so he supposes not. "I am glad that I have been able to help these cubs out though."

He nods, "I know, but honestly I do not need much, as an animal I usually hunt down my own food and only on occasion do I need money or anything really. I should have you come see the place I found to live when I am not travelling though. I think you would like it.

He nods again at the last, "Well, if anyone can be loud about it and attract the unead menace I am certain Finna and I can do so, we've learned some new tricks while away." he grins at that.
Faruja Faruja's good humor fades a bit. "They art not being held against their will, however, I fear Ivalice hath little care for unclaimed orphans. They art in good hands. An education, food, and if they choose, they hath ways to advance in society that otherwise wouldst be denied them due to their birth."

Two ears wiggle, and he brightens a bit. "Oh? Do tell! I canst hardly see ye living in Mullonde, after all. In Eorzea?" He hazards a guess.

Faruja chuckles. "Nay doubt! Training, hmm? What hath ye learned? Canst ye demonstrate without ruining mine carpets?"
Allyn Allyn shakes his head, "I meant inside this paper, they aren't trapped inside of it, are they?" he taps the picture, "I didn't mean inside the building, besides, I know you wouldn't support such a thing if they were trapped there. Orphans of any species are sad." he sighs, "I am glad they have a nice home now."

He shakes his head, "No, it's not there, I found an uninhabited world, well at least I've not seen any people there, just animals, a good number of things to hunt and a nice cave for me to use as a den."

He shakes his head again, "I don't think I can demonstrate in here, most of the forms are too large for this house I think, but i've learned to change into a few of the indigenous creatures of Eorzea and it seems I can use their abilities since they come natural to them. I was surprised to find that out."
Faruja Faruja blinks, looks to the photos, and laughs. "/Oh/! H...hardly! 'Tis known as a 'photograph', Ser Allyn! A miniature painting created rapidly by a magitek device. Rather curious contraption, invaluable in mine work, so much as I am adverse to such things in general." Indeed, capturing a crime scene in photo is a great boon to trials.

Faruja nods. "Ahh, yes, please. With mine Acolyte being fond of...experiments...I hath far too many repairs at times as it stand. I understand that many of these creatures art similar to Ivalice's. Ye aught attempt to emulate a few whilst ye art out upon this next mission. The local Fauna that remains art most...resilient and stubborn, or so I am told."
Allyn Allyn blinks and nods at the explination, "Oh." he looks a bit sheepish for thinking the people were trapped inside, "That is good to know that they are safe and not inside these." he chuckles and finally sips at some wine.

He nods, "That is a good idea. I think I will do that while we go on that mission. I hadn't thought of it before, but it seems like it would be a good idea.." he sighs a little.

"I've been doing a few other things as well between here and Eorzea too, mostly trying to stop that woman who has those creatures she's enslaved what's her name? Violet Hunter I think.. She had one of her creatures threaten me a while back, but I haven't been very successful in that."
Faruja Faruja just shakes his head, rubbing his temple. Oh, silly wolves! He can't help but seem amused at poor Allyn.

"I am afraid I am not familiar. Still. Outright enslavement is a Sin, of course. Needst ye men? If ye cannot strike her down so, then either draw her into a battle of thine choosing and advantage, or bring competent soldiers alongside ye."
Allyn Allyn shakes his head, "I don't think that will be needed. I think she will be stopped sometime, plus there are a lot of people in the Union that have been trying to stop her as well. I mostly go along to be a thorn in her side, ever since she threatened me." he chuckles, "I actually got taken to the Union's medical facility not too long ago after an encounter and Ainsley healed me, though when I woke up there I thought I had been taken prisoner or something." he grins. Waking up in a strange place is a little odd."
Faruja "Still. One shouldst not sit upon thier laurals! But as ye wish. Harry her as ye need, but doth not overextend thyself, hmm?" Faruja cautions gently.

Wince. Faruja chuckles nervously. "Oh my, /memories/. I screamed the first time mineself. Something about 'Heretics and heavenly cages of steel squeezing the breath from mine lungs' if I recall correctly. If one is not used to such things? Rather jarring. Entire /cities/ in the heavens. Ahh, /humans/!"
Allyn Allyn nods, "Well, if there is ever a big show down I will make sure I come for help. I just mainly show up as support though as usual, since I'm not in the Union, just happen to help those of the Union a lot." he chuckles and then grins, "Seems msot my friends are Union members, so I can't complain, right?" he winks

He nods, "It was strange, first time I'd woken up in a place I didn't remember falling asleep, but you know. I don't heal like some others of our friends do. I am a human after all, no matter how much i deny that side of me and say I am an animal."
Faruja "Do as ye must. I /am/ curious. Doth ye assist the Union for thine friends, or some other reason? Intending upon staying out of Multiversal politics?"

Then, he tilts his head. "Always frightening. Hardly something one gets used to, either. Well. Mayhaps ye aught better learn thine human side as well. Better to be balanced. Ye make thineself lesser by denying thine heritage."

States the rat.
Allyn Allyn ponders that question for a few long moments, "I think staying out of multiversal politics is the main reason, but.. Well, I suppose most of it is personal reasons really, or my beliefs rather. I am a creature of nature and as you know, nature is neither good, nor evil, but a fine balance between the two. I haven't had to display the cruel side of nature though." he ponders and then shakes his head.

"No, that's not quite right, when I was overcome with the anger of the forest, there was that. "I seek the balance between the two though, or more it is something that must be kept to keep neither order, nor chaos from becoming too powerful. If that makes sense."
Faruja Faruja considers, the rodent rubbing his chin. "Let us pray ye remain not requiring such ferocity. However, I do suppose nature is a harsh mistress indeed. But nor is the Union quite as...utterly sterling as one wouldst like to believe."

Then he shrugs. "But I suppose I cannot speak to such things. Mine own involvement is more out of love of friends and political necessity. My true goal is, of course, Ivalice's safety."

Ears perk. "Mmm. Interesting. Without Order, all is consumed by the ravages of the strong. Without Chaos? Stagnation sets in, and all rots from within. There is merit to such a belief. Though I hath always preferred Order."

There's a light beeping, and Faruja frowns, putting a linkshell in his ear.

After a whispered conversation, he stands.

"Mine dear Ser Allyn, duty calls. Let us continue this discussion another time? Feel free to stay the night, the good Sisters shall see to all ye require."

With a bow, the rat's off swiftly, worry on his muzzle.
Allyn Allyn nods to Faruja as he departs, "I will take you up on that offer my friend. Thank you for your advice and words. I will let you know when I have talked to Finna about our mission."
