Bain     The Harvest & Trustee Bank. Or, rather, branch bank. It's a squat little building, built the same as all the other branch banks with a prefab structure. You can see a very accessible rooftop, and the whole thing's only really one story tall, with a wide bit of parking lot around it to give the whole thing the look of a sort of architectural island. Today's heisters will be meeting at the street that borders the bank on the east side, where a van has been secluded! It seems like Bain will be providing you guys with a quick briefing shortly.

    EAST SIDE EXTERIOR

The east-side exterior is a long street, bordered on the west by the bank and on the east by several shops. It's wide and open, with a few parked cars on the east side. From here, you can ENTER THE SCENE via the north end of the street. You can also head SOUTH to the southern border, walk WEST to reach the northern exterior parking lot area, or leap through the EAST WINDOWS to reach the northeast office section of the bank. There's a pleasant little bench area with a tasteful tree over on the southwest end of this region. The ESCAPE VAN has been hidden here in an alley between the east side shops, and can only be recognized by the heisters as such.

    ENTITIES PRESENT:
    Garen
    Lance
    Lu-Mey
    Starless Night
    Flint
    Skitter
Starless Night     Those who know the WIDOW OF STARLESS NIGHT will also know that she rarely shows her true face in public, at least not in any situation that is important. Thus, the dark-haired kugutsu is nowhere to be found, and is not participating in this heist at all!

Instead, the Confederates are joined by one RICHARD NIXON among their number, wearing a sharp and impeccably-cut tuxedo that is custom-fitted to him.

    Bowtie-straighten. "Harumph."
Lu-Mey     "Mister Nixon, the public is waiting."
Of course where Starless Night goes, so too does her far less subtle Oni associate. But, Lu-Mey doesn't seem to be here either. Because at Nixon's side is a dark skinned woman in a garishly red skirt-suit, short hair, and loads of lipstick. Indeed the former president has a a Secretary of State present, as CONDOLEEZZA RICE fiddles with her jacket.
Garen     Garen approaches the scene, not really knowing what to expect. As he approaches, he quickly notes the masks and simply sighs. "I thought the masks were supposed to hide our faces, not draw the attention of everyone...." He says, hand rubbing his temples. He also likely could be heard muttering the Chiss word for 'Amateurs', nicely translated by the Multiverse. Even so, he quickly shakes off that and starts looking about.
Vruasa Telash     There is a YOUNG MAN sitting outside on one of the two benches in front of the bank. At present, VRUASA TELASH takes the form of a human who greatly resembles himself. Short, messy black hair with blue eyes and sunglasses. He is currently wearing a black tank top and cargo shorts, along with a pair of sandals. He is not here for the BANK ROBBERY. No, he's just eating an ice cream cone that he got from a Coldstone Creamery just down the street.

There is no way that his presence is in any way out of the ordinary or alarming.
Bain     "Alright gang. We're going loud and proud for this one. Check the big case in the van and you'll see all the little gifts I left you. You'll wanna run with some ballistic armor if you're no good at dodging bullets, we're expecting a lot of police response." Bain's strangely-accented voice can be heard over the radio in the car. He's not the man who drove the heisters here today, this guy is Twitch, a very stoic man with a pair of sunglasses and a nice suit who refuses to do much talking.

"Left a few other gifts in there too. Guns if you need them, and a few other things if you don't. Plan A is Plan B today, but we've got a heavy bit of infiltration power on our side so we're not planning on wasting it. You two," Presumably Garen and Starless Night. "Are running ghost. There's an ECM jammer for each of you, should be easy enough to work with. You get near any police with that, you can mess up their tacnet, and they can't do anything about it if you make sure they can't get a lock on you." These jammers look very much like little walkie talkies with assorted electronics haphazardly taped to them.

"Our couple of enforcer types ought to run bigger armor. I've got bigger guns for you if you want 'em, or the Doorbell if you don't." This is apparently Flint and Lu-Mey! They're being offered some heavy armor, alongside their choice of a big fully automatic LMG called the Brenner 21, or what appears to be a compact police sledgehammer with "doorbell" inscribed on its handle. "I need you drawing attention and drawing blood out there, the drill is going to need to have the heat off it."

"Benson, you're on your usual duty, technical." Bain says. "Get the drill I've hidden, the thermal lance-- Hehehehe, okay, no, sorry. I just realized... Right, anyway, there'll be a drill in the north side parking lot. Pick it up and get it to the door, get it working. I'll need you in claw mode for later, too, there'll be an interior gate after the vault door that needs opening QUICK."

"Skitter, I need you flanking and striking, and ready for your role. Hope you brought the bugs, 'cause I'm gonna need 'em. Police response will try gassing the place if we lose our hostages, I need you ready to clog the vents bad. When the heat gets heavy and we breach the vault, there's something called a Bulldozer the police are gonna deploy, no way for me to stop it today. It'll be way too much of a problem to deal with the normal way and still grab gold. You'll know it when you see it. Get into his armor and hit him with anything you got. I know your deal, no need to murder him, but I want him out of the fight."

"Get in there, get the people on the ground, get ready for the heat. You'll have about a minute before the police hit after that. Knock 'em dead."

Also in the van are several MASKS

Garen gets a mask that looks rather like a sci-fi stormtrooper's mask, with half of the mask smashed away to show off an intimidating skull with a bright red eye! The SOLAR WARRIOR MASK!
Lance gets a large mask styled off of a xenomorph, wearing glasses and baring a wide variety of sharp teeth! The DOCTOR XENO mask!
Lu-Mey got a one-horned oni mask with a very faux-damaged look, a jawless thing that bares harsh teeth down to cover her chin. The ONI RUIN MASK!
Actually Richard Nixon got a Richard Nixon mask, because you might as well go full meta if people are gonna jump the gun before you can.
Taylor Herbert gets a mask very much like a spider's face, with vicious jaws! It looks very visceral. It is wearing four supervillain-styled eyemasks. The TARANTULA mask!
Taylor Hebert Five individuals enter the scene, plus a dog the size of a horse. Most inconspicious robbers ever. The Undersiders are here, but they look..a bit different. Whilst their costumes are majorly the same, Skitter's black bodysuit, Grue's bike jacket, Regent's king outfit, and Tattletale's usual costume, their masks are different. Except for Bitch, who is in street clothes and wearing a dollar-store rottweiler mask.

The Undersiders excluding Bitch are wearing masks of the members of the Beatles, with Skitter as George, Grue as John, Tattletale as Paul, and Regent as Ringo. It is not clear whose idea this is, though they have everything else they usually have.

Meanwhile, Judas, one of Bitch's dogs, is /not/ wearing a mask, making his identity as clear as day. He is covered in misshapen bone, flesh, and muscle. At Skitter's side is two boxes of /something/, and whatever is in there is making a bunch of weird noises.

This is going to be an odd bank robbery.
Lance Benson     Lance, as opposed to being in full angry meat-eating monster form, has taken advantage of his most recent mutation of being able to disguise himself... as himself. From before he mutated. Save his eyes, which he covers with a pair of sunglasses. He wears a sweatshirt and a pair of jeans, as well as a pair of sneakers. A duffle bag is slung over one of his shoulders. He stuffs the xenomorph mask away in the bag, and grunts in confirmation of Bain's plan. He makes no indication that he found the wordplay funny. (He actually did. He's just in work mode right now.)

Then he heads straight for the parking lot at a brisk walk to gather up the thermal lance to set up later, once he's sure he's got the go-ahead for it. He does walk up to the bank and walk inside, not terribly concerned with being seen. He looks like an unassuming short Indian guy with a tired smile on his face, who might've just gotten back from the gym.

Lance works on trying to find an opening to get to the vault, while everyone else is doing their setup.
Bain     NORTH SIDE EXTERIOR

The north-side exterior is where several compact little economy cars and a few pickups are parked. There's a DOOR to head inside to the south, and there's access to the west and east to their respective exteriors, with a larger parking area on the WEST and the street exterior on the EAST. There's a rather tall building neighboring this area on the west side, and a large wall blocking off the north end.

    ENTITIES PRESENT:
    Lance
    Thermal Lance
Bain     The thermal lance is in a large orange duffle bag, slightly heavy, with a large drill assembly within it. Powerful equipment! Holy shit don't get it near any fires right now, it will BURN LIKE HELL.
Garen     Garen nods along with the breifing. He didn't exactly change his look, but his entire demeanor changed. He seemed colder, more detatched from feelings. "Right...See you all inside." He says, slipping the mask on. His training as a Cipher Agent kicked in as he moved almost like a flash towards the eastern windows. With him were his usual blaster pistol, and his rifle.
Fiora O'Brien     Walking down the street minding her own business is an irish-looking girl with shoulder-length hair and freckles with a baseball cap on, but otherwise is TOTALLY a normal girl (It's Fiora, with shorter hair and without going full crazy robes and stuff) just walking down the street in street clothes - black t-shirt, blue jeans, comfortable shoes, equipped with a HORRIBLY LETHAL WEAPON!

Well, for her. It's a bacon wrapped hotdog with all the fixings. And she munches it happily, walking over to the OUTSIDE BENCH/TABLE setup where SOME DOUCHEBAG is, grinning at him. "You sure you don't want one? It's not like a little - well, okay, a lot - of cholesterol will kill you!" She offers, before relaxing outside of the bank that will be soon heisted.

    ENTITIES PRESENT:
    Lu-Mey
    Actual Richard Nixon
    Undersiders
Xau'ra Tayuun Xau'ra was taking it easy, really he was. Though his idea of easy is kicking back in one of the rooms the Alliance of Eorzea has given him and working on making a few more arrows, with each arrow-head carved with a symbol on it.

He is mostly propped back in a chair with his feet up on a desk as he does this. His tail resting lazily beside him with only the tip of it swaying side to side ever so often. His dark grey fur almost easily fitting in with the near lack of light in the room and his gold eyes almost seeming to glow in the darkened room.

Though all this comes to a screeching halt when he hears an area is in trouble, flipping his working knife around to slam it into the desk and then moving his feet off the desk onto the ground with a simple ease. With a quick grab of his leather chest armor, bow, quiver, and scabbards he starts to make his way out. Only to reach back in and grab his goggles-- because like bloody hell is going to find himself blinded by the sun or those modern city lights!

Once the male Miqo'te arrives on the scene, he does through via the dimensional gates and sticks to the roof tops as he does. Refusing to actually be on the streets and if he needs to move to another building, he'll use the street lights and signs to get over from one stop to another, along with his momentum to run along the walls and glass, before flipping over to another place to sping over to another location.

He is coming in from the SOUTH side.
Vruasa Telash     "Nah. I'm too busy killing myself with all this sugar. It's too goddamned hot out anyway." The young man on the bench says to the young lady with red hair. Vruasa leans forward for a moment and hooks the opposite-facing bench forward, YANKING it towards himself with a giant screech of metal on concrete. Then he leans back, kicks his feet up and spreads out across the two benches. There's still room for Fiora to sit down (and spread out, if she wants), though.

By now, he's gotten the ice cream down far enough that he's nibbling at the cone. "Anyway, I've got a feeling that there's going to be a drunken brawl over here or something. Maybe a couple of hobos..." Yeah, that's right, Vruasa is sitting around waiting to see if there's going to be a hobo brawl. Evidently his sense of THINGS HAPPENING isn't too sharp, because he hasn't noticed all the shenanigans unfolding around the bank.

Like Fiora, this makes him a FILTHY WALKER who is kind of in the way. Only, presently stationary.
Starless Night     "Mmmhmm," NIXON says, putting on the... Richard Nixon mask. "You've got it~" Nixon says, even in Nixon's voice. However, there are many ways of being stealthy, and Nixon is doing the 'hide in plain sight' way. That is, he is in a very suspicious mask, but he wanders right toward the NORTH side of the area, just acting casual as if he belongs there.

Of course, this is because anyone in THAT area needs jammed, as well, you know?
Bain     NORTHEAST INTERIOR OFFICES

The interior office area of the bank has many SMALL CUBICLES, with a variety of office materials here. There's shelves and shelves of books and suchlike, and a small private office to the north for the manager. Lots of nice pictures hung up in here, very generically consumerist. There's a private little COPY ROOM full of paper and a copy machine here that leads to the lobby. There's a STAIRWELL to the north that leads up to the roof, and an opening at the SOUTHWEST that leads to the bank lobby as well, though slightly less covered. The VAULT DOOR is here, locked tight.

    ENTITIES PRESENT:
    Garen
    CIVILIANS (x7)

Garen smashes through the windows and bares his weapons, which immediately gets the customers and workers here screaming and panicking. Should be easy to get them on the floor as needed, if he can get them calm! But this has also activated the silent alarm, which gets us going! Not an issue though, that's all planned for.
Lu-Mey     Armor? Guns? Ms. Rice purses her lips.
"I have no idea how to use these." She announces fairly simply as she takes her Oni mask and slides it into her jacket for later donning. "Oh well, I brought somehting else~."
That 'something' refers to the large suit of armored bulk sitting in the back of the van. It looks like something out of a samurai movie, with black and red plating, swords worn at the hip. Patting the SAMURAI WARRIOR lightly with a small giggle, she leaves it there for the moment.
This will be important later, as Condoleezza slides her ONI mask on, still following after the 37th president. "The potus is warm today isn't it? I think it's a nice day to have a caucus of delegates don't you, Mister Nixon?"
Lu-Mey has NO IDEA how American politics work. But if she pretends like she knows what she's talking about then she belongs there JUST as much as Nixon.
Lance Benson     Lance frowns at the weight of the thermal drill, hefting it up on his shoulder. He steps over to the exterior door to the bank, and uses his senses to determine how likely it is he'll be spotted if he just bumbles into the building from that point. Hearing Garen's entrance, though, he slips into the building and navigates his way through to the vault. Once there, he'd kneel and begin opening the orange duffle bag.

While he does this, he mutters to himself, "Last time I was only around to identify blood analysis devices, not put together a damn fire drill," even though he seems to have no trouble doing so. It's not a complaint, though, just a remark that shows his amusement of having become the 'technical guy' for these heists thanks to something like that.
Garen     Garen looks over everyone, and issues one simple command. "All of you down or I'll shoot all of you in the face." He shouts, pointing his blaster at every civilian. His voice could freeze water if it was near him. Anyone who tried to resist ate the butt end of the blaster pistol. He was dead serious.
Bain     SOUTH SIDE EXTERIOR

The southern end of the bank is the one that shows off all the obnoxious big letters and such. From here you can see a big rotating sign, as well as the name of the bank this is a branch of being obnoxiously bared. There's a FRONT DOOR here, as well as some WINDOWS to the east of that, that lead to the bank lobby and offices respectively. There's also an OPEN GATE to the west side exterior parking lot, and you can head NORTHEAST onto the street to head to the east side street exterior. There's several cars parked here, on the side opposite the bank.

    ENTITIES PRESENT:
    XAU'RA
    CIVILIAN (x3)

Multiple civilians are already trying to flee out the south entrance, apparently panicked! They're getting into the street. In the distance, one can hear sirens.
Taylor Hebert The Undersiders decide to split up. Tattletale and Skitter slip through the EAST WINDOWS with Skitter's boxes of ???, attempting to move behind or into a cubicle, if possible. They're going for a brief stealth routine, atleast for the moment. Grue, Regent, Bitch, and Judas make their way WEST, attempting to in via the parking lot.

Skitter kicks open a box of ???, releasing a swarm of insects that immediately head towards the hostages, beginning to climb on them. They don't bite or the like, but they're giving Taylor an external view of the hostages and the areas of the bank she can't quite see at this point.
Emiya Shirou     Shirou is here entirely by chance. To get from Point C from A, you need to move through B, and that's what this is: a jaunt between warp gates. Another day of searching for his home Fuyuki city that's equally unsuccessful. He would be despairing. He misses his normal life, but having met plenty of people out here and chasing his dream of living for others and being a hero of justice.. well, his heart's slightly less in it.

He's wandering past the bank's south side when BANGCRASH. There's shouting and a few people running from the bank. the redheaded school-age magus pauses, gapes a little.... what the heck's going on?

Other people are running away. So he does the thing that comes most naturally to him instead.

He runs STRAIGHT TOWARDS the bank. Up to the doors and windows, anyways. To take a look inside and see what the fuss is about!

    Bitch
    Grue
    War Dog
    Lu-Mey
    Actual Richard Nixon

The two politicians are accompanied by a pair of Undersiders. This area is empty for the most part. Easy access to the other areas though, currently uninhibited. Might be an attack vector later?
Xau'ra Tayuun Xau'ra spots Shirou hanging out near one of the windows, making note of the panic, but when stuff like this happens-- well-- this kind of thing goes down, you know? His steps are very quiet and he keeps low. He is about to whisper to ask Shirou about what he sees when he can hear the sirens off in the distance, which causes his ears to go back slightly in annoyance.

He narrows his eyes behind the goggles before he at last asks Shirou with a whisper, "What is happening inside? Think I should head to the roof?"

    CIVILIANS (x7)

The civilians are appropriately scared, they know a gun when they see a gun. ALSO BUGS, OH GOD. There is only one rational response to bugs crawling ALL OVER YOU and that's to get on the ground and writhe a lot, which appears to have successfully disabled their immediate urge to flee. Lance finds that the drill is actually some kind of industrial cutting machine that uses a jet of horrifically dangerous chemicals at incredibly hot temperatures to pierce the heavy vault door.

    XAU'RA
    SHIROU
    CIVILIAN (x5)
    PATROLMEN (x4)

SHIROU examines the interior of the NORTHEAST OFFICE, which gives him a perfect view of several ROBBERS who are currently threatening the civilians therein, a swarm of vicious bugs, and an ominous-looking machine that he can't quite see what it's doing! Oh man, violence is going on in there! Or at least a LOT of threats. Four PATROLMEN have arrived at the south side, and are taking cover behind two POLICE CARS, leveling their handguns at the doors to try to cover the civilians who continue to flee!
Starless Night     "Don't worry," Nixon assures. "I've got our backs." He chuckles lightly and reaches into his tuxedo, pulling out what look to be... slips of paper? Concert tickets? "We'll filibuster their congressional statutes now."

Tossing the papers down, he just... walks toward the entrance. But from where the papers went down, THREE MORE clones of RICHARD NIXON, complete with NIXON MASK, rise up and start patrolling the area.
Garen     With the Civilians summarily tied down, Garen nods towards Skitter and Tattletale. Something told him to secure the area, so when he looked back, he spotted movement on the roof. "Hmm....right on time." He says. He quickly brought his rifle up and checked through the scope, trying for an ID.

There's a RUCKUS coming from the direction of the WEST SIDE EXTERIOR now.
Lu-Mey     "Oh, good, Mister Nixon. It would be terrible if a Dark-Horse lobbied to fence mend our left wing pork barrel."
Condoleezza is speaking in a whole language of her own now as she follows the main Nixon. "Do you think our colleagues have already made the inside into a smoke-filled room? We'll have to work fast before the whistle-blowers get here."
Lance Benson     Lance does not have any trouble setting up the industrial drill. He is also not worried about the horrible chemical compound it is gonna start spitting into the vault door. The frame gets set up quickly, with surprisingly robotic and exact movements. He may have been schooled on how to put it together before the heist started up, or maybe it's a simple matter for his basic skills to handle.
Once it's been set up and turned on, he finds a nice and convenient spot to set himself up to look like a hapless bystander, sitting among the hostages with his hands behind his back. With any luck it will keep him from getting shot in the face early on. He so dislikes getting shot.
Taylor Hebert Tattletale spots Shirou. Nudging to Skitter, several of the bugs in the swarm break off, flying at Shirou in an attempt to crawl on him and give her eyes to the situation. She kicks the other box open, a bunch of flying insects going out and flying around, taking the shape of a single creature-mass with some trickery from Skitter, working as scouting.

The RUCKUS draws the attention of the Undersiders in the NORTH SIDE EXTERIOR. Bitch leaps onto Judas, and marches into battle towards WEST SIDE EXTERIOR. Giant horse-sized dog of doom!
Starless Night     NIXON THE FIRST just... attempts to open the door and head inside, lockpicking if necessary. Might as well muss things up a bit here and take the heat off the others. "The polls are falling with too many points!" He activates the ECM JAMMER.

NIXON THE SECOND and NIXON THE THIRD are heading to the WEST to check out the noise.

NIXON THE FOURTH leans against a car while whistling, keeping a lookout.
Emiya Shirou     Well, crap. Shirou's no longer so sure about getting involved. The police ARE here, and it loks pretty nasty in there. Nasty enough he's wincing. But then he thinks twice about it. There's bugs in there. Lots and lots of awful-looking bugs and things that no police probably know how to deal with. He sure doesn't know how to deal with it.

But oh hey, it's Xau! "X-xau?! Why are you here?" The magus is baffled and blurts this - but quickly shifts to a whisper. "... It looks like a robbery or something. There's a lot of money in banks... the people after it don't care if anyone gets hurt either... crap. Yeah, if we're gonna do anything it can't just be charging in. They might start shooting. I'll look for another way in."

He's not going to notice a single bug or two for now, though.

Instead he looks for another way in - a service, employee, side entrance, anything that doesn't lead directly into the chamber with lots of hostages will do fine for him!

    CIVILIANS (x7)
    Actual Richard Nixon

The drill looks like it's got a few minutes left at the moment. GAREN should be able to get a good look at whatever he needs to in the SOUTH STREETS using the windows here, to take a look at people. The civilians are still panicking and screaming but at least aren't GOING anywhere. You can still hear more panicking and screaming from the lobby. Richard Nixon arrives from the north.
Lu-Mey     Thusly, as Nixon works on the door, Ms. Rice tilts her head at what she hears on the radio. "Ah... We have an issue on the front burner, Mister Nixon. It sounds like the big government is going to try and filibuster our little convention."
She... Detaches. "I'll keep the muckrakers off our coat tails~."
Sliding the ONI MASK out of her jacket she slides it on, and starts walking her way from where she is, to the south, to meet up with the SWAT team en route. The mask isn't the only thing she pulls from her blazer. In her hand she holds a folding fan, decorated with ornate floral designs as she heads westards.
Garen     Garen notes the dissapearence of Shirou and nods again towards the Undersiders. He pokes his head out of the window facing into the south side and grins softly under his mask. After a quick check with Bain, he brings up that rifle of his again. He takes aim and.....demonstrates laser like accuracy and precision in engaging the responders, aiming to take them down either with wounds or with them being carried of.
Bain     SOUTHWEST LOBBY AREA

The lobby is a relatively wide space. The west side is occupied by a bulletproof teller's area, and there's cover in the form of a fairly solid info kiosk on the north end. There's a lot of claustrophobic space on the west side, behind the teller's area. A lot of red velvet rope here makes for an inconvenient movement area. The west side, behind the teller's area, has an open door. WINDOWS and a souther FRONT DOOR offer access to the southern exterior of the bank. You can go through a cramped COPY ROOM or a more open OFFICE PASSAGE to get to the northeast interior offices.

    CIVILIANS (x3)
    BUGS!!!

Bugs scouting out this area show that patrolmen are currently attempting to direct the few remaining civilians to the exit. Might not have gotten to this side in time!
Bain     WEST SIDE EXTERIOR

The west end of the bank is a much larger lot, full of a wide variety of cars. Part of a tall building borders the west side of the area, with a few bits of assorted shipping materials having sort of spilled out from the structure's closed areas. To the southern end, there is an OPEN GATE that leads to the south end of the bank, out to the street, and you can easily head NORTHEAST to get to the northern side of the bank, another parking lot. On the southeast end of this area you can find roof access STAIRS and a DOOR to the bank lobby.

    SWAT (x6)

Two Richard Nixons, and someone riding a war dog, arrive on site to find several SWAT members have managed to get into the west side exterior, via the gate and breaching through the neighboring building! There may be more behind cover. Four immediately try to open fire with submachine guns to cover a pair that are trying to get to the roof!

Lance successfully disguises himself as a civilian among the ranks of the hostages. Meanwhile, Garen takes a position at the south end and successfully exchanges fire with the PATROLMEN on the eastern end of the southern exterior, killing three and injuring a fourth almost immediately.
Bain     Alternate entry routes found by Shirou's search include ROOF ACCESS that he might be able to get on the WEST SIDE EXTERIOR, as well as EMPLOYEE ACCESS in the back door on the north side, though that's guarded by a RICHARD NIXON CLONE.
Garen     Garen watches the officers fall to his fire. He didn't regard it as good or bad, but simply part of his job. He continue's to engage the officers on the south side. "Need a pair of eyes on the west side. Either one of you two able?" He asks of his undersider allies.
Starless Night     The clones are pretty weak, actually. They can attack, but they can't take a hit, because Starless was pretty cheap in making them and used her simpler technique, not the more expensive one. Thus... one of the SWAT team members guns down NIXON 3, causing him to cry out and collapse into the arms of NIXON 2, who drags him to safety.

"T-Tell Pat... I love her... ggrrrrrk~*" NIXON 3 expires and vanishes in a puff of smoke.

"YOU BASTARDS! IT WAS HIS LAST DAY ON THE FORCE BEFORE RETIREMENT!" NIXON 2 yells out, flinging a few shuriken at the climbing ones. He'll probably be killed doing this though.
Bain     EAST SIDE EXTERIOR

There is now an empty SWAT VAN blocking off a lot of the north side of the street.

A large armored van pulls into the east side exterior, depositing a team of SWAT officers and a man with an assault rifle and a heavy piece of electronic equipment strapped to him. They head towards the east side windows, and are SCRAMBLED by Starless Night's ECM deployment, rendering them slowed and vulnerable while they attempt to coordinate a breach on the east side. Potentially open for ambush by a NIXON CLONE on the north exterior.
Lu-Mey     A twirl. A flick. And the oni-masked Secretary of State snaps her fan open as she arrives Westward. "My my... I think it's time for a... Grand Old Party..."
A wave of her fan and Lu-Mey titters. Silvery strands of gossamer light are visible for just a moment, reaching from the spurs of her fane and off into the distance before vanishing.
And in an insant, the armored figure waiting in the getaway fan suddenly bursts out of it. A fully armored samurai from ages past-- Earth Samurai not Tenra Samurai- starts charging along the street at a full tilt spring, heavy enough to crack and crater the pavement with each step as the Silent Destroyer skids to a halt in front of her.
A twirl. A swish. A completely secutive sway of hips in that tight skirt and Lu-Mey flicks her fan. for every motion she performs, the armored figure opens up a port, revealing several revolver style guns and small cannons. Which start opening fire on the SWAT TEAM.
She also found a small crate somewhere, and seems to have hopped on top of it for this deadly dance performance.
Taylor Hebert To keep Lance's cover, bugs controlled by Skitter move to crawl on him too! Sorry, Lance. Basically, Skitter and Tattletale are just sitting there controlling bugs, Taylor's scout swarm moving to the lobby.

Grue and Regent head towards the WEST SIDE EXTERIOR, to join Bitch and Judas. Almost immediately, Grue raises an arm, attempting to throw a veil of blinding and defeaning blackness at the SWAT firing, with Bitch plowing through and trying to have Judas take one and use as a chew toy.
Lance Benson     Lance stares forward with a passive frown on his face. His sunglasses disguise his unearthly yellow eyes, which turn this way and that to regard the hostages. Feeble everyday people he holds no particular sympathy for anymore. He frowns at one in particular that seems to be shivering. All the while, he keeps one hand on the blue duffle bag at his side, which for whatever reason gives a little metallic thump when he pats it once. What could be in there?

Lance brought a rather large pair of handguns with him, as well as a long coat made of some sort of durable polymer just so that he isn't immediately shredded if they catch on to his ruse before he can properly transform and take someone by surprise. He's keeping the equipment hidden for now. He keeps an ear out for any glitches with the drill, and keeps his life senses active for any living thing moving around the building. Particularly human-sized ones.

Lance looks down at one of the bugs crawling on him, showing that it doesn't bother him in the least.
Fiora O'Brien     As Filthy MALE Walker (Vrausa) talks to Filthy FEMALE Walker (Fiora) about food, about life, about moving the benches so they're more comfortable, things TRULY GO TO HELL around them. Cops show up, windows are smashed, bugs go everywhere (and probably land on both of them, but it'd be a head trip for Skitter if she tries to plant a tracer-bug on Fiora!), and bullets literally fly around their heads.

In fact, cop bullets seem to pass entirely through them like they aren't even there, light puffs of dark smoke puffing through their bodies as bullets that SHOULD be hitting them from the SWAT officers just sort of... Don't. The same is not true of the Elites present, but the swats simply couldn't hit Fiora or Vruasa if they tried.

Fiora finishes her Heart-Attack Hotdog, and tosses the paper into a waste bin, thumbing at the bank. "Hey, do you hear something?" She asks nonchalantly, before getting up and... Walking up through a broken window into the office area of the bank, where she goes to find a pair of scissors, a marker, and some printer paper. Through fusillades of bullets, cops, whatever.

Just up and Asshole Civilian's through the whole thing. Becuase you want to know the Best Idea?

Standing up and walking around in the middle of a firefight.
Emiya Shirou     Shirou has chosen... the NORTH SIDE employee access. he's not normally one for violent entries, but climbing up to the roof is already covered by Xau! ... And he doubts the criminals have much to deal with up there. Wouldn't something like a vault be in the basement, or ground floor, where it can be bolted to piles or something? or not fall through the ceiling?

So he's made his way through quick dashing to the Employee access door... and it's there that he runs into...

Who the heck is that supposed to be?

Well, they're guarding the way in. That can only mean one thing. "Out of the way! I'm stopping this madness right now!" The boy rudely growls out, before muttering, "Trace, on."

Golden light fills his hand, then juts out into a long shape and fills out swiftly - with a *sizzle-CLANK* it becomes the fabled blade of the Confederate Mordred, Clarent. And Shirou totally isn't Mordred.

But there's a fierce coldness to his voice. He means business. Furious business.

Garen should be able to hear the firefight going on in the west side now, meaning that people are currently covering this. He should also be able to hear the chaotic noises of a SCRAMBLED SWAT team currently having trouble coordinating a breach of the east side windows. There's also additional SWAT presence establishing itself in the southern end, potentially having breached the lobby, more audible to Tattletale and Skitter, and potentially Lance! But both are slowed by the presence of these hostages, which ensure that the police have to take great pains to hold back.

The drill jams. Damn it! It's gushing un-ignited gas now. Someone needs to reignite the drill, with any of the basic nearby fire-igniting equipment.

    BUGS!!!

Skitter's BUG SCOUTING gives her eyes here! Looks like they're trying to get ready to breach. Could be vulnerable to another ECM deployment!
Starless Night     Well, things seem to be under control... but then there's a DRILL JAM and NIXON 1(really Starless) makes a dash for it! "Bah, you're fired!" He's diving for the drill, but this being the real Starless he's much, much better and faster than the others, sparking a light for the drill as soon as he can.

If he has time, he's going to trigger the ECM again. That's his, right?
Vruasa Telash     "It wasn't a hobo fight." Vruasa states, plainly. He'd been finishing his cone off while everything went to hell around them. He certainly didn't have the demeanor of a real civilian, and hadn't troubled to get out of the way of everything or run off. Instead, he pops the last of the cone into his mouth and rises around the same time that Fiora finishes her hot dog and rises as well. As to whether or not he heard anything, he simply shrugs at her.

There's too much going on around them. Of course he heard something. But man, there's a lot going on out here. What the hell are these police even trying to do? Vruasa has seen less bullets fired in actual wars than these cops are firing at bank robbers. He strides after the Filthy Female Walker (Fiora) into the bank, ignoring the going-ons just as thoroughly as she is.

Or, at the very least, being unperturbed by them.

This guy looks like he should be a hostage, too.

While Fiora messes with some office supplies, Vruasa looks around towards the cops. Man, this feels really familiar. He's sure that he's been here before. Breaking away from Fiora by a very short distance, he approaches a coffee maker set along a long counter next to a glass-faced office. He pours himself a cup, less for the taste and more because that ice cream made him too damn cold, glancing at the jammed thermal drill and those around it in passing.
Garen     Garen made notes of all of the action going around him. He looks over and snaps a few more shots towards the south, this time aiming for SWAT. He also lobs one of his grenades at the team. He also in a quick motion shifted his rifle from single-shot to burst mode. He wasn't playing around anymore. They got this far, and he was not going to let the team fail now.
Xau'ra Tayuun Xau'ra watched as Shirou went one way and kept himself pretty much at ready. Xau'ra then decides its time to move in and go robin hood on things. He leaps through one of the windows with ease and as he does his bow is at ready along with several arrows.

He was a hunter after all-- and a former thief, along with an outlaw-- though the big city wasn't his deal, some laws still remained.. like hunting and taking on several targets at once! This meant arrows with out for different targets and he was quick on the quiver draw and string.

He'll have to answer Shirou later on 'how'. You think people think Eorzeans are scared to get out and about or something!
Starless Night     EMIYA is confronting RICHARD NIXON #4. Nixon sizes up that blade and frowns. "Well that's not fair, I didn't bring my sword. Look, kid... it's pretty messy in there, you probably don't want to go inside. I'm just an old man watching the cars, but I can tell you there's trouble in there."

He scratches his head at the threat. "Or you can go forward, your choice." He chuckles, and suddenly dashes forward at high speed, a short blade in his right hand as he tries to dive in under the sword and slash at Shirou's midsection.

The heavily wounded corpses of several SWAT officers can be seen here.

Grue blinds much of the southern group that keeps being reinforced by the south-side street movements, leaving them unable to cover their allies and thus allowing Bitch and Judas to grab one around the waist with a huge jaw and shake him around while he screams. The other one opens fire on her, though! The majority of the other ones firing are being cut down by Lu-Mey, who tears through their numbers viciously until she's halted by the sudden reinforcement by a pair of shield units - that is, units with large ballistic shields! - covering additional SWAT! Nixon 2 manages to hold off the ones climbing down via the neighboring building and therefore draws a lot of fire from the shield units and their submachine guns, while the others are mostly fired wildly by the blinded group.
Lance Benson     The duffle bag is unzipped, and the two handguns are pulled by Lance, in their underarm holsters. He straps that on after removing the sweatshirt and throwing the long coat on. The mask is slapped on almost as an afterthought. He stands up, and moves around to cover, checking the secure area with some growing concern about all the activity.

And then he realizes that he just saw someone. He peeks around a corner and notes that Vruasa is in the building.

He continues on as normal after that, frowning the biggest frown behind his mask. /Now/ he's in a bad mood. Guy holds a grudge, apparently.

He finds a convenient place to stand, holding up one of his handguns to provide covering fire for the Nixon that decided to deal with the jammed thermal drill.

NIXON 1 restarts the drill, a process which takes a good 20 seconds. Meanwhile, GAREN successfully defends the south, killing a dozen more SWAT from that angle while keeping the fire they can return to a minimum, while those who open fire chaotically and uncoordinatedly from the east windows are being kept at least at bay by Lance Benson. That leaves Tattletale and Skitter as the only ones to be able to deal with the assault coming from the southwest! Unless Nixon 1 can get there quick! Getting done with the drill, though, they're at least able to scramble them from the copy room! Several SWAT have burst into the lobby and will be rushing the office area momentarily!
Emiya Shirou     EMIYA SHIROU is startled by the sudden assault.

CLARENT is not. The royal blade twists in his grip, driven by muscle memory belonging not to Shirou... but to the knight of bloody, savage rebellion. Wisps of red light trail its motion as it swings about to catch Nixon #4's blade by deflecting it off to the side. Upon making contact there's a small sizzle of light, and then...

THEn, Shirou finds himself LUNGING in for a twisted pommel strike to the clone's face and a savage upward swing to the neck with both hands and another flare of prana. These is no elegance to this fighting style - it's bloodthirsty, practical brutality, and not exactly to Shirou's taste.

The blow strikes Nixon down, and if the clones have blood things will be getting messy. But Shirou doesn't care. he then goes to force himself through the employee door. If he has to kick it in with a reinforced leg or slash it down with Clarent, he'll do that. But it's probably open, given the circumstances.
Bain     Additionally, a pair of civilians just sorta casually wandered in, apparently. That's a little weird. Probably going right past Garen if he's focusing on SWAT? They're not on the ground, anyway.
Garen     The chiss is indeed focusing on the SWAT officers at the moment, totally unaware of what's going on behind him. He takes careful aim, firing at his lobbed detonator. The grenade hadn't gone off, and if there's anything that can further keep the SWAT and responders back, it's an exploding grenade....or at least that's what Garen hoped.
Vruasa Telash     Vruasa Telash pauses, and makes eye contact with Lance Benson. The wheels begin to turn in his head, and he REMEMBERS. A year or more ago now, he interrupted another robbery in which Lance was involved. Ultimately he roamed around stealing equipment from the police and generally being unhelpful, and upon exit, he pushed all the buttons on the elevator doors. You can practically see him slowly recall this, a broad and menacing smile crossing his features. He turns away from Lance, towards the copy room where he assumes Fiora took off to.

"Hey Fiiii... I'll be back in a second." He calls, and then he disappears entirely.

SEVERAL HOURS BEFORE

An invisible wraith appears in the bank, just around closing time. The bank vault is currently open, and will be open for a small time yet. No one is inside, and the interior door stands wide open. It would not have been closed under the present circumstances. The Troll accelerates himself, zipping into the vault and slapping the interior door shut. It closes with a loud CLANG that goes mysteriously unnoticed by the bank employees outside, and the locking mechanism shuts with a small tweaking of its temporal status.

Vruasa draws a small, grenade-like object out of his sylladex. He activates it, slaps a temporal delay on it, and throws it into the closing vault. The effects of the "grenade" remain to be seen, but once he's done throwing it and the vault has shut itself automatically, the Knight travels back to the present day and resumes a position near Fiora.

NOW

VRUASA reappears next to Fiora, and sips his coffee. "I'm back." He says, casually.

The taser apparently intends to head inside through the back entrance, and is moving to do so now while Shirou has the Nixon occupied.
Xau'ra Tayuun Xau'ra will line up his next arrow right for Garen, he does give the man a whistle, just before he releases the steel tipped arrow. Though as he fires it, he quickly moves to a place of cover. Now it is a question of really-- can an old style piece of technology be effective against someone designed for modern and more high tech warfare?

This is the question!
Bain     ROOFTOP

The rooftop is a very wide, very exposed space. With the exception of a small catwalk for convenience of maneuvering over some of the piping, and a small second-floor thing that sort of just exists with no interior or worthwhile content behind the wall, there's not much here, besides SKYLIGHTS that allow one to drop into both regions of the interior, and some vents for very mild cover. There's ROOF ACCESS on both the northeast and southwest ends, the former leading to the office and the latter leading down to the west side exterior.

Taylor Hebert As the southwest is rushed, Skitter keeps working her ability..as bugs begin to swarm through the broken windows from outside, as well as any inside the walls or just nesting around, and begin to go..hassle SWAT. They totally should have brought Regent, he could have tripped them all.

SPEAKING OF WHICH, Regent waves his arm out at the SWAT firing at Bitch, attempting to knock his aim off. Just then, Judas continues to use the SWAT member as a ragdoll..before he tosses him as his compadre, a snarl as Judas does so.

The scout bugs move to hassle the SWAT about to breach from the lobby, because that is what bugs are good for. Hassling.
Lance Benson     Lance keeps firing shots at any incoming SWAT and other uncoordinated sorts that try to get past a certain point, relying on the cooperation of his allies to handle the vast majority of this. But he frowns as he gets peppered with gunfire, bruising him nastily through his coat and one bullet getting lucky and piercing his abdomen. "God damn it," he hisses as he feels the blood flow and then slowly stop.
He seems to be half-decent at shooting these rushing policemen, but he is most obviously avoiding getting into a punch-up with any Elites. He scampers over to check on the thermal drill, making sure it didn't get jammed again... and checking its timer. Because he knows this next part is gonna require him to brute-force that inner door open.
Lu-Mey     Oh my, ballistic shields.
Bullets and projectiles spang off them for a moment, leaving CONDOLEEZZA RICE's dance halted in a moment of 'whelp that's not working anymore'.
The return fire is... "Oh dear."
No fun at all as she's blown off her crate, bulletholes soaking her dress with blood as she goes down in a heap, writhing and twitching, one leg blown off in th chaos. For a moment she lays there, her mechanical mahcination of death unmoving without its puppeteer. ... Until her legs starts crawling back towards her. Broken bones knit, wounds spit out spent lead and seal closed without so much as a scar. Lu-Mey picks her leg back up and set it into place, wriggling white worms reaching out with sickening wet sounds to re-attach the limb, right in the sight of the whole swat team.
They may need to take a sanity check after that display but it gets worse as she sets her palm to the ground. Hundreds of ants start spilling out of a gash in her hand, skittering under shields to crawl up legs and bite with toxin-bearing jaws at the shield units.
And amid THAT chaos, something flicks from her wrist. A spur of bone flits from her wrist like a bullet. Seeking to stick in the nearest SWAT man she can see. If it hits... It sprouts a few hundred legs and proceeds to burrow into his body and inject something worse. A toxic mix of hallucinogens and inhibition altering poisons.
"President Nixon might need help inside the bank. Why don't you help him out by doing whatever he says?"
Starless Night     NIXON 4 is smashed in the face and goes down! He... poofs into smoke. POOF!

NIXON 3 is also riddled with bullets, and vanishes into smoke.

NIXON now curses, "They've assassinated my lobbyist big oil!" He kicks the drill, causing it to sputter to life, and then... then... "I see the BUCK STOPS HERE!"

    He loosens his bow tie.

Flinging the bow tie down, it explodes in a loud FLASHBOOM! It's not really enough to blind anyone even temporarily, but it should cover Nixon's dash across the lobby, arms whipping out to send globs of thick, viscous webbing toward the SWAT members, trying to slow them down until NIXON can get into a better position to boost his poll ratings.
Fiora O'Brien     As the thermal drill ticks down, the ASSHOLE WALKER-ESS (Fiora) seems to be busying herself nonchalantly pilfering office supplies. A number of GREEN HIGHLIGHTERS are gathered up, some printer paper, two rubber bands, and a sharpie as bullets whiz by her head and swat swarm around her. She gives an absent wave at Vruasa as he goes off to do TIME SHENANIGANS, Fiora busies herself with ARTS AND CRAFTS.

A tan money sack from the counting room is repurposed with the GREEN HIGHLIGHTERS into a SIMOLEAN SACK, with a giant $ sign on it on either side. Then she makes a simple paper mask with some eyeholes, angry BLACK SHARPIE eyebrows, and rubber bands to hook around her ears. It looks SUPER CHEAP.

With that prepared, she lounges in a chair, kicking her feet up on a deck with her HEISTING gear readied.

"Wow, you're back fast." She notes to Vruasa as she swats away a bug, grinning. "Do anything interesting while you were gone?" She offers conversationally while...

Well, a literal war is going on around them. She doesn't mind. She's ready to HEIST THE FUCK out of this bank. Once that vault cracks, at least.

While Xau'ra is getting fanboy'd at on +J, he's still got his straight shot to Garen unless Garen takes cover further in the office and lets up on the southern side of the streets. Meanwhile, several SWAT are trying to extricate themselves from the webbing! RICHARD NIXON now has the choice between attacking Xau'ra and maybe averting his arrow fire, or protecting herself by finishing up the work on these SWAT guys!     CIVILIANS (x7)
    Fiora
    Vruasa

Garen's defense on the south side has wound up spreading explosive thermal detonations into the lobby. There's a lot of corpses on the street now, taken down harshly by the gunfire! Lance's lance has finally broken through the vault, which he can now forcefully swing open whenever he likes. There's a gate in the interior, shut tightly. Beyond it, one can see... GOLD BARS, GLITTERING BEYOND THE DOOR! Look at all that cash! Shiro, should he enter, will find himself entering here via the north end, just as the vault at the northwest end of the room opens!
Garen     Garen almost didn't spot the arrow until it greeted his eye. He quickly dodged back, and using his intellect deduced where the arrow came from. But he also tosses a glance back towards Lance and the lobby. He quickly pulls one of his flashbangs and banks it towards where Lance was getting alot of heat from. Then, to his arrow shooting friend, he sends out a volley, before moving away. He shifted to take up new residence in the lobby, covering Lance and giving him some additional fire support.
Vruasa Telash     "I'm always back fast. I only take a while with time travel when there's a reason for it. In this case I had to do it as fast as possible. Speaking of, you'll see what I did soon enough so there's no point in just telling you about it." Vruasa answers Fiora, draping over the back of her chair and resting his chin against her head. For the sake of NOT SPILLING COFFEE ON HER, he just sets that aside on the desk. He issues a puff of air, looking over in the direction of all the fighting going on. Really, it's quite a mess in here already.

He nods towards the closed interior vault door to indicate for Fiora what he did, though it's not ALL. They'll have to do a bit more rooting around to eat the full consequences of his mild irritants. In the meantime however, Vruasa looks down towards Fiora and surveys her array of stolen office supplies and... other... stuff. His eyebrows lift.

"What were YOU doing?" He asks, not able to observe the moneybag from this angle.
Lance Benson     The door gets swung open easily enough, the thermal drill knocked aside carelessly. Lance's eyes focus on the interior of the vault, a big grin cracking open on his face. He steps inside the vault, and a change happens throughout his body. Crackling bones sound out, and a metallic hum as his body is transformed. Fur forms over his whole body, and the mask is thrown back in the bag. His tail wiggles behind him with newfound excitement, the fur on it shining and shimmering.

Lance lunges at the interior gate and tries to slam his metallic claws through the lock, getting purchase on the gate so that he can open it. He has completely abandoned any notion of subtlety, because now is not the time to take this slowly.
Starless Night     The SWAT team is not all that great a threat compared to the CATBOY, so RICHARD NIXON whips around and says, "Never liked cats, myself. Always more of a dog person. Have you met Checkers?"

Her turns to face the SWAT team member that Lu-Mey sent him, and gestures to the tangled SWAT members. "They're getting a little rowdy over there, why don't you put them to sleep?"

So, he's going to deal with Xua'ra. "Hello there! I am not a crook! Did you know that votor turnout is at an historic low in the past decade?" As the president in the mask says this, he flicks his wrists... and two large, bony blades erupt from within, the 'President' rushing for Xua'ra with that cocky grin plastered on the mask making it look like he's enjoying it.

The heavily wounded corpses of several SWAT officers can be seen here.

    War Dog

    Grue
    Regent
    Actual Condoleezza Rice
    SWAT (x6)
    SHIELD (x2)
    DRUGGED SWAT

The Shields drive Lu-Mey off! But not before she gets one of the SWAT members into a drugged out state that allows her to use the HORRIFYING GORE DISPLAY she just went through to motivate him to go help Richard Nixon in the bank! He staggers off through the door to the east, into the lobby, while the ones who were trying to do that before, the pair near that door, are faced down by Bitch. One of them is torn up, while the other one tries and fails to fire while Bitch bears down on him! Oh no!!!

Meanwhile, Lu-Mey's toxins are working on the shields, but they seem to be slow! Jeeze those dudes are actually kinda tough! They're staggering as they slowly die, but they've not stopped opening fire, and Lu-Mey has now drawn the attention of the rest of the remaining two SWAT squads now cut down to the size of about one.
Xau'ra Tayuun Xau'ra watches the sudden activity hit the room and it was almost enough to distract him when Garen fires off several shots. The young male Miqo'te has to take some cover as the shots nearly catch the edge of his shoulder. Those ears of his laid flat back with his tail slightly bristled for a moment.

That is when he hears her talking about cats and he hmphs softly, "Well, must be your lucky day that I'm no run of the mill house cat, hm?" He then watches as some dude comes rushing at him he has never seen, "Sorry chap, never heard of you nor would I ever vote for you anyways. I don't come from a democracy!"

He uses his bow to block one of the attacks, the strange bone material almost as touch as steel itself, being chipped as the blade connects and then back flips to avoid the other. As he lands down, he swings the bow around and draws out one sword which he goes to strike with and then as he comes around again, his other sword swings out to follow. Yep, dual wielding sword, archery fighter!

Though for anyone who has a really good eye, they may notice a silver chain around his neck hiding something within the armor. Seems the kitten has a necklace of some kind.
Emiya Shirou     The Nixon Clone vanishes into smoke.

That's freaky. But Shirou's mind has gone simultaneously ice cold and burning hot. He can worry about details like that later. But he'll be grateful that it was apparently just some kind of familiar or illusion. He also takes note of the police unit that are... apparently moving to back HIM up? Ohhhh boy. Now he's really got to put Bedivere's philosophies in mind and not just charge around like his gut's telling him.

He's heading for either the worst or best place he could be. Where the business is - the vault, just as it's broken into. So he dashes in a hurry with Clarent still in hand, and puts his back to a wall while calling out to Lance Benson, "This bank robbery is over! Turn around and drop everything. I don't want any more blood spilled!"

... This probably won't work, but he has to try.

    ENTITIES PRESENT:

    SPEC-OPS (x4)
    BULLDOZER

Meanwhile, on the roof, four heavily-armored SPEC OPS MAXIMUM FORCE RESPONDERS have arrived, and are currently attempting to set up a gas system to vent some kind of subduing gas to the NORTHEAST INTERIOR OFFICE/VAULT AREA. They'll need to be stopped! This will be where Skitter comes in.

There is also a BULLDOZER. This massive man is wearing so much bomb-proof and bullet-proof armor you'd think his dad was a military tank. Wielding a massive shotgun, he's beginning a slow approach towards the stairwell that leads down. There's Skitter's other target!
Taylor Hebert The bug swarm in the lobby makes an abrupt change from their hassling, sans a few members, flying up the stairs and into the VENTS. They are noble heroes, sacrificing themselves for the cost of a ton of money. Skitter amasses what left that isn't in the vents, as well as any she can feel outside, to come through the windows towards her. She makes a mad dash towards the stairs, leaving Tattletale where she is, as the bugs follow after.

Once she has eyes on the Dozer, Skitter takes cover away from him, and sends her swarm flying at him, aiming them to target weakspots in his armor and neutralize him. Non-lethally, no venoms this time.
Bain     VAULT

The Vault. It is rather unassuming. Oddly smoky. The walls are covered in lockboxes. That's not the important part. The important part is the table in the center, where the bank holds important items while they're in transit.

Atop the table, in carefully constructed stacks, are no less than an entire 80 Good Delivery standard gold bars. Just looking at them is enough to make any human being become hypnotized by the potential of capitalism.

    ENTITIES PRESENT:
    GOLD (x5 CARRYABLE UNITS)
    Lance
    GRENADE

Lance Benson tears the gate off of the thing in one extra bit of delay. Wait, what was that last part on the entities list? A timed grenade in the vault suddenly goes off, gushing a large volume of inconveniencing but otherwise harmless foam, because Vruasa Telash is a huge jerk.
Starless Night     "Heh. Wish I'd brought my sword, boy, I could show you a thing or two!" NIXON cracks his knuckles. "Guess we'll just have to improvise." He flicks his wrist out again, but the Talonfang doesn't extend into anything longer. Instead, webbing blossoms from within the man's sleeve, erupting into a twining, twisting whip of strands several meters long. When he whips it forward, the tip makes a sharp, scarring furrow in the floor... that isn't just a whip, the strands seem as sharp as a blade on the tip! And he's lashing it toward Xau'ra!
Xau'ra Tayuun "Thanks, but I had a very good instructor!" Xau'ra quip back as the whip of blades comes for him, he back flips away and kicks a chair to get in the way of the bladed whip. Though as he goes to move again, a few of those bladed shards clip a few strands of his black hair and a piece of the solid white.

He attempts to come back in, before it seems like they can bring the whip back around in time and goes to strikes one of the swords right for the Nixon's chest.

WINDOWS within allow access to the east side and south side exterior.

    CIVILIANS (x7)

    Vruasa

Shirou busts in and confronts Lance at the vault door! Alongside him, a TASER has broken in, and immediately opens fire on Garen! His flashbang disabled the soldiers on the EAST SIDE while they were restarting their Tacnet, but the taser is immune to flashbangs, apparently! If the taser gets that electrical bit into him, he's gonna be going through painful muscle spasms! But it won't disable him entirely; it might make it so that he can only reliably fire at either Shirou or the Taser though, not both!
Lance Benson     Lance tears the gate off its hinges, practically. And he turns to regard Shirou, when the swordsman arrives. His eyes stare for a beat, but only that long, before the timed grenade explodes and covers him in foam. He is suddenly VERY MAD about this, because he knows it's only the work of his heisting nemesis the Troll. If that interior gate wasn't torn off its hinges, Lance's frothing hatred certainly made it rip off the frame after that.

And then he chucks the metal gate door at Shirou with enough force to slam it through the stonework of the rest of the building, embedding it in a wall like a thrown card if Shirou is savvy enough to dodge.

Then he completely ignores Shirou, and heads inside the vault to begin shoveling gold bars into a bag or three, made to hold the gold bars and for him to carry them. He tries to grab as many as he can carry... and apparently he can carry a lot of them. It might destroy his mobility, though.
Garen     Garen manages to turn and get a shot off at Shirou, aiming for a disabling leg shot before he got nailed by the electrical bit. Garen, being one who literally REFUSES sedatives for surgical procedures, feels the spasms and shakes alot. That said, he does his best to focus and drill the Taser in the head.
Taylor Hebert Neither Grue or Regent come. No, it's BITCH, riding on JUDAS, who storms into the office on her war dog.

A growl from the dog is enough warning for Garen to try and get out of the way, as Bitch and Judas rush forward, keen on slamming straight into the Tazer. She hasn't had enough violence yet today.
Fiora O'Brien     Fiora grins, stealing a quick swig of Vruasa's coffee as he sets it down, before reaching over and producing her shitty paper mask. She actually made two! One for herself (With an >=) face), and one for Vruasa (With an >=( face), which she offers over her shoulder.

"We're gonna be bankrobbers. I've always wanted to be a bank robber. It's not really about the /money/ or anything, it's about that... That raw swagger. You know! Like the films. Here, just follow my lead." Fiora explains, before putting her own SHITTY PAPER MASK and hoisting up her SIMOLEAN SACKS. "Let's get saucy." She laughs, before sliding out of the chair and wandering towards the Vault.

Then Foam happens, which necessitates her dodging a RAGE-THROWN VAULT INNER DOOR which nearly takes her off at the shoulders. She's fine, though! "Hey now, watch where you're throwing those!" She calls back to Benson, before noticing he has THREE bags and there are FIVE piles of gold. "Hey, score!" She laughs, before... Almost comically sauntering in with big stretching steps on tiptoe into the vault, to start cramming a SINGLE PILE of gold into her SIMOLEON SACK.

"Ya'll got a getaway plan, right?" She wonders, behind her FLIMSY BAD MASK OF BADNESS.

There's a vast amount of webbing and scorched carpeting here, as well as several burned corpses.

A few of the SWAT manage to get up. They begin trying to open fire in the middle of Richard Nixon's one-on-one fight. A drugged cop wanders around from the teller's office and immediately brutally murders them in a hallucinogen-powered haze. Thanks, Lu-Mey! He starts shooting the remaining helpless SWAT before suddenly being bowled over by a war dog and its rider slamming through the lobby on its way to the northeast.
Vruasa Telash     "Are we?" Vruasa considers his outfit and SWAPS to a FANCY SUIT. He does so in a Sims-esque fashion, spinning once and swapping out with his sylladex. Then he takes the shitty paper mask proffered by Fiora and slips it on, careful to get around his horns underneath his illusions. It's only at this point that he whips out a SPEAR, although it's not any SPEAR. It is the very spear that he created when he first came to this godforsaken world. It has a taser built into it, having been alchemized with one long ago now.

Since they're POACHING, the Knight of Time reluctantly slides after Fiora. While she slips right on past the crowd into the vault, Vruasa steps up behind Shirou and reaches forward to tap him with the end of the spear from behind. It's not active or being swung for real -- he's just trying to call his attention this way. "Hey. Kid. My wife wants to be a bank robber, and my fucked up sense of honor demands that I not let you fuck up the rest of the loot these other people earned."

Vruasa leans on his spear, shutting one eye behind that mask, "I'm not going to fight you super seriously, but I -will- fight you a little if I need to. Ever been tazed?" He clicks the button on the spear, causing it to spark brilliantly at the end. It's, again, not an attack but a demonstration.

32 big old honking bars of gold later and the table is much less full. Lance has an UNGODLY heavy duffle bag ready to go! Fiora's bag is gonna need reinforcement, but hey, if it's strong enough, she might get it too!
Lance Benson     Lance briefly pauses in his efforts to look at Fiora, his eyes blinking twice at her. She wasn't part of the plan and so he wasn't expecting her. Hey are those civilian clothes...? "... you're with that godawful troll, aren't you," he remarks, "Blame him for my temper. He should tell you about the first time we met in person." Said so casually, it's almost as if he hadn't nearly beheaded her in his decidedly uncool tantrum. It's hard to stay angry when he can imagine what he looks like covered head to toe in thick white foam like some sort of deranged Staypuft Marshmallow Man.

He even starts to help her load up her bag. He can share. At least when Vruasa is putting in some effort. She's at least slightly nicer than Vruasa is. "Here," is all he says, not asking if she wants help. He's just trying to hurry this along. He's got most of the gold -- that stuff is heavy! -- if he's not interrupted by anything else! He even gives a friendly smile at her.

"Oh, we've got a getaway plan, yes. As long as you don't take our gold, and do your share of the work." He pats her silly Simolean bag to indicate what he means. "Let's go. Got anything you can do to help us get the hell out of here?" He assumes she's an Elite. She did kind of walk into this place without freaking out. He's not terribly familiar with who Fiora is.

Garen slams a shot right into the taser... And the helmet cracks POWERFULLY, the man himself staggers and goes down on one knee, but doesn't back down! What the hell!? These guys have no business being as tough as they are. And then, slamming through one of the cubicle walls, Bitch is suddenly on him, knocking him down, maybe out, potentially mauling him to death if Bitch tries. Thank goodness he was already wounded and engaged in battle, otherwise seeing him taze a giant war dog would have been an awful experience for everyone.
Garen     Garen shakes off the taser, and RIPS the bit out of where it got him. He quickly pulls his rifle up and AGAIN engages all enemies in his sight range, be they elite or otherwise.
Emiya Shirou     The blade Shirou wields moves before he can even think. Clarent's brought down at the speed of ARMWRENCHING OUCH, and two things happen at once.

The chamber's filled with the awful, horrible sound of thick metal being cleaved in twain. Sparks fly and excess prana drifts off Clarent like wavering heat. The gate's bisected perfectly and topples to the ground around Shirou with a mighty clang.

In the exact same instant, the boy staggers back with a choked down yell as part of his arm literally tears, flesh ripping open and muscles wrenching and twisting about badly. It's just pain though. Burning hot, driving daggers into his skull... he can deal with pain.

Oh yes. And the traced Clarent shatters into a thousand little pieces, lost among the wrecked gate.

Shirou's stupefied by this outcome. Reflex protection for the win, but ow, ow OW.

So again he produces a weapon. KUSANAGI appears in his grasp from a flash of golden light. "Alright, we tried the peaceful way!"

He's just about to engage Lance when-- tap tap. Uh?

The hostility drains out of him and he looks over at the Troll who's addressing him. The redhead frowns. "...You're kidding me--?!" Great, it's a tazing invader now.

If he could just cut those sacks to pieces, he'd greatly reduce the amount of loot these people can get away with...!

The boy pulls away from Vruasa. "... Got it. Then I guess it can't be helped. I'll break that thing then take down the mutant!"

With a sudden rush of wind, Shirou moves into action - a powerful swing with the skill of a legendary hero, aiming to try and break the button Vruasa just showed off. The blade howls with wind, enhancing the cut--!

Bedivere's been beating 'tactical thinking' into him. It's starting to show off.

Meanwhile, the bugs are SWARMING into the Bulldozer's armor, causing him to stagger and struggle, slowing his approach to the stairs and his descent down them.

Vruasa and Shirou engage in combat! Garen can fire on Shirou, or on the SWAT massing to the south now, but the taser is dealt with now, and the east side is being cleared out, mostly. The south side is taking heavy hits either way from the allied drugged-out SWAT, but Garren can reinforce. Fortunately... Bain has another bit of order for Garren here, which he calls out over the radio, alongside orders to Tattletale and Skitter.
Garen     Garen was zoning in a shot when Bain's order came through. He moves into the vault to help pack/grab a bag himself. He deals with the weight, and sets his rifle to full assault mode. They got this far, and they were getting the gold.
Fiora O'Brien     SHITTY PAPER MASK FIORA-HEISTER laughs. "Yeah. I'm with him." She offers, before pausing. "Or, well, I guess he's with me." She shrugs, before finishing up loading up her first bag, and thinking quietly to herself. "How to help... How to help... Oh!" She exclaims snapping her fingers.

Then she touches Lance's SUPER HEAVY BURSTING MEGABAG of gold which promptly... Loses all of its weight beyond 'a bag'. It still has volume, but it seems to be featherlight now. He could probably sprint with it!

"There we go. That should help!" She offers, before Vruasa's HEISTING BAG disappears from his person and appears in her hands, which she slides yet more gold in with. Then, she featherlights both of her two bags, before slinging both over her shoulder and grinning behind her SHITTY PAPER MASK. "Let's make out like banditos." She comments. She leaves a decent amount of gold behind, not overfilling her $IMOLEON $SACKS with too much. A meagre pile each! Precisely one Bag unit of gold. Which is to say, the precise measurement that happens when you're using duffelbags and...

Fiora starts exaggeratedly heist-walking out the vault door and towards the van. If Tattletale, Skitter, or another of the Undersiders move past her, she'll happily pass her FEATHERLIGHT HEISTBAG to them to ferry.

"Hey, Vruasa!" She calls. "Thanks for getting me away with this!" She calls, before capering off. It's actually kind of slow because of how she's going. She's really living the heist dream.
Vruasa Telash     At present, Vruasa doesn't have the appearance of a troll, merely that of a man. Not that he doesn't look decently intimidating, but he's not much taller than Shirou, and his build isn't particularly impressive at a glance. Soldier-like, but not outstanding. He observes Shirou through one eye with loose interest, not really having been paying attention to what he's been doing so far. Reflexively, he slides his hand down the haft of his weapon to get it out of the way of Shirou's swing, but it DOES make contact with the button and jam it. The rocket spear isn't particularly flimsy, but it can be broken. It's only a step or two removed from a starting weapon in Sburb, after all.

Allowing his shades to slide down his eyes, the Knight shifts his weapon to look at the broken button. Blue eyes flit rapidly between Shirou and the button, before the busted weapon goes back in the sylladex. He nods his understanding slowly, "Wiseass little shit. I haven't met many non-trolls that are objective-oriented enough to pull a dumbass stunt like that and make it count. But it might've been easier if you hadn't done that."

There's a rush of air as Vruasa steps in and swings his left fist towards Shirou. It's plain that he's holding back, so it's not an inconceivable attack to deal with like might otherwise be the case. The aim is directed towards the hilt of Kusanagi, and the fingers grasping the weapon. A strange choice of target, but overall the message is clear that he doesn't really have any kind of investment in the fight. In spite of the inherently restrained nature of the attack, it's also still quite skilled.

This is, clearly, a person who is a pretty good hand at unarmed combat.

"My pleasure, Fi!" Vruasa calls back to Fiora, in a tone that is entirely at conflict with his skirmish against Shirou, and the atmosphere of... well. This bank robbery in general.
Taylor Hebert As Bitch and Judas play with the Tazer, who they attempt to toss into a wall with Judas's enhanced strength, Tattletale and Skitter move towards the vault, where they begin attempting to bag gold, as Skitter's BUGS!!! continue to have some fun with the Dozer.
Lu-Mey     This entire time, Lu-Mey in the role of CONDOLEEZZA RICE has been heckling the SWAT team on the West. Just an exchange of fire back and forth, ending in her horrible and miserable dismemberment and death. Over. And over. And over. And over.
Getting back up EACH TIME and piecing herself back together with sick giggles, and grunts of pain, eventually she does begin to whine.
"This is getting REALLY bothersome. I'm tired of the witch hunt, I'd love to stay for a photo op, but I'm really not in the mood to commit political suicide!"
Bain says time is about up... And that means...
It's time to kick things into high gear.
"I guess I can stick around for one last little dance around this rubber chicken circuit..."
    Uhuhuhuhu...
A snap of her fingers, and a twirl, and the bloody-dressed Oni-masked dancer throws one hand up. "It's time to DROP THE VOTES~!"
Her body kicks into motion, sultry twists and sways of the hip, twirling her fans in her grasp, and puppeteering her gun-toting armor suit. And then there's a buzz.
A low humming flutter of wings as a HORRIBLY GIGANTIC AND TERRIFYINGLY LARGE DRAGONFLY buzzes onto the scene.

It is holding a disco ball.

And it just hovers over head, twirling the thing, sending sparkly light everywhere as Lu-Mey swishes. And The Silent Destroyer pops open more ports on its armored bulk, cannon after cannon after cannon and revolver snapping out and beginning to unload a non-stop fussilade of non-stop fire at the rest of the swat on the West side.

"Go~ go~ dance~ dance~ kill~ kill~ die~ Die~! DIE~!" Tittered as she begins cackling wildly, working to clear things up for the escape van.
Lance Benson     Lance is startled by the sudden lack of weight in the bag. The uncoiled tension in his muscles makes him bounce a little, it's really that significant. He looks at Fiora with a big toothy grin. Yep, he's definitely not going to attack her now! And once she starts moving, he does, too. He doesn't put up any fuss about her bizarre method of escape, figuring if she is as goofy as... her husband(?!) then she probably has this handled whether or not she has fun with it.

He runs out of the bank at a full clip, which is quite impressive because he's in his full mutant shape. This means he just football tackles through a wall and tries to clothesline a SWAT member sneaking around the window to shoot into the building. He works to get /away/ from the bank, which involves a huge leap that crumples some bank executive's car like a tin can when he lands on it, and then bends its frame completely as he leaps away and to cover on top of a shorter nearby building. He's got /a lot/ of mobility if he doesn't have an absurd amount of gold weighing him down.
Starless Night     Something about the way Nixon moves is really unnatural. It's way too fluid... and it's also so very, very quick to counter, anticipating motions far too swiftly. The lunge meets one of their bonelike blades, skittering off the side and opening the lightest of slashes along that tuxedo. It should draw blood, but... Xau'ra can feel that underneath that skin is some sort of tough, armored hide of some kind. Still, he can also tell that Nixon is a bit slower... SOMETHING has caused him pain, making his movements stiff. "Ah, it's election day and I think we're going to have a dark horse riding up up and away! Give me a purple heart on the scandal?"

He flings a small shuriken at Xau'ra's side... but he's actually aiming at the catboy's shadow, trying to imbed it there. It's the sort of trap that, even if it does hit, can be fought out of within a few moments, but it is meant to paralyze the cat man during that period by freezing his shadow, and thus his body. He just wants time to step back and tap his back. This causes insect wings to erupt from his back, buzzing loudly to lift him up and taking him upward, toward the exit to the roof.
Xau'ra Tayuun The Shuriken hits its mark, even as Xau'ra goes to dodge thinking it was for him, "Ha--URK!" He grits his teeth, those sharp canine's of his showing as he nearly falls right over onto his side. He lays there for a moment as his body doesn't want to move. Giving the chance for Starless to get away.

Once he can move though he slams his fist onto a table before letting out a yell in frustration. None of this was going right! "..By Menphina.. I'm going to get that son of a coblyn!" However there was other things to worry about as he reminds himself and taps his comm, "Shirou! Shirou, you doing alright?"
Bain     EAST SIDE EXTERIOR

There is now an empty SWAT VAN blocking off a lot of the north side of the street. SWAT corpses litter it as well.

    ENTITIES PRESENT:
    SWAT (x6)
    Garen
    Fiora
    Lance
    Skitter
    Tattletale
    Escape Van

The gang collect their gold, almost of it now rendered strangely weightless! The police are desperately trying to fire now, SWAT from the north and south end both bringing out a storm of bullets. The DOZER has reached the ground floor and fires massive slug rounds out the window from the west of the group as they're in motion even while he struggles with those bugs!

The van's doors pop wide open, allowing the whole gang to cram into the tiny space with a whole five or so massive bags filled to bursting with gold. As soon as they're in, Twitch floors it, dramatically reversing out of the alleyway, coming to a hard, skidding stop near the west end, offering the fighters on that end the chance to dive in too!

    WEST SIDE EXTERIOR

The west end of the bank is a much larger lot, full of a wide variety of cars. Part of a tall building borders the west side of the area, with a few bits of assorted shipping materials having sort of spilled out from the structure's closed areas. To the southern end, there is an OPEN GATE that leads to the south end of the bank, out to the street, and you can easily head NORTHEAST to get to the northern side of the bank, another parking lot. On the southeast end of this area you can find roof access STAIRS and a DOOR to the bank lobby. The heavily wounded corpses of several SWAT officers can be seen here. There are dismembered bodies strewn about rather violently.

    ENTITIES PRESENT:
    Grue
    Regent
    Actual Condoleezza Rice
    SWAT (x1)
    SHIELD (x1)
    Escape Van

One of the Shield's shields snaps in half under the barrage, while the other one can only barely protect a single prone SWAT while sustaining many wounds himself, alongside the effects of the poison he was hurt by severely; the rest are reduced to a state that it is not tasteful to describe. Grue, Regent, and the disguised Lu-Mey are offered a ride as Twitch backs into this area with a skidding stop, giving them a few seconds of a chance to dive in before pealing off. It's naturally assumed that Vruasa and Starless Night can handle their own escapes effectively.

Twitch barely grazes by the parked SWAT van on his path to the north, and immediately begins his routine of evasive driving. He still has not said a single word. He does, however, seem to listen to a private request Bain makes.

Those within the van are treated to a small tape labeled "PLAY ME" that gets inserted by their silent getaway driver.

Emiya Shirou     Shirou is in such a terrible fury right now. It's so deep, so profound, and so serious that all the hot-blood has gone past critical mass and looped into cold, analytical rationality. No emotion clouds his thought. Fear isn't stopping him, despite the monstrous strength and strange equipment being displayed all around.

He can already tell, just from the noises outside.

This heist has stained the bank deeply with blood.

The only thing driving him now is a desire to see this have some purpose. He will stop the robbery and let justice deal with the criminals.

Kusanagi twists with great speed in Shirou's hands. not quite fast enough, but he avoids getting more than half of his fingers struck. the blow stings, it knocks his arm off-balance, and triggers a frightening wince. the hand is one of the most sensitive places on the body, and Shirou stupidly is not wearing gauntlets or even padded gloves!

That'll probably change later, on missions he can prepare for. "Ghhh...!"

A few fingers are sprained and don't grip right. No, they grip, but gripping is painful. "Sorry. Even if you're half-hearted about it, I'm still not letting anyone get off easy if I can help it!"

The boy states in a coldly furious tone. His UNUSED HAND, the one dripping blood, springs into action. Despite all the pain, he extends it. Golden light flickers and flashes, forming into...

.... The tazer spear that Vruasa just ditched. "Huuahh!"

It's a straightforward thrust to no real vital area, but Shirou's betting the tazer function will do a number at bringing Vruasa down!
Vruasa Telash     "Hmph. Motherfuckin' self-righteous twit. All I'm doing is wasting your time. I haven't hurt anybody here other than you, and what little damage I've done will be handled by the insurance of this bank." Vruasa complains at Shirou, but he doesn't seem particularly invested. He jerks his head in the direction of the nearby windows and street, "I suppose I /am/ stopping you from doing anything about those shitlers, but frankly it's just a matter of fairness. Can't let her take a portion of their loot and not give them /any/thing in return after sitting around and watching."

An exasperated sigh escapes the knight, and once he's through complaining he crosses his arms over his chest. At the very least, he isn't moving to do any more damage. But Shirou decides to do something rather interesting, in the form of reproducing his Rocket-Powered Taser Spear and kicking it back at him. The turnaround lands concretely, but--

Vruasa can't tone down his raw endurance, and a taser just doesn't bite it. He stands utterly still while being electrocuted, and ends up scratching his head awkwardly while waiting for the effect to end. Did he... just deliberately skip a turn completely voluntarily?

"Well, hurry up and take your attack of opportunity. I don't want to stand here all night waiting on you." Vruasa gripes, confirming the ludicrous thing he just did. What a weirdo.
Emiya Shirou     What the heck?!

The redheaded magus pulls away, startled that nothing happened. "what--?!" Is Vruasa... human? He just tanked a tazer. Shirou would've probably been twitching on the floor. Or at least stunned. That's what tazers DO.

He disengages with some quick footwork, shock all over his face, not to mention confusion. What kind of bank robber is this guy? "...huah...?!" The boy's just boggling at this turn of events.

It seems there will be no attack of opportunity.

"You probably aren't lying. But you're helping these people, who will do it without blinking. That's not much better than comitting the crime yourself. ... But there's nothing to gain if I keep fighting. You won't surrender to the police, and it'll just make a bigger mess of the bank."

Shirou straightens, though he's giving Vruasa a foul, disapproving glare the whole while.
Vruasa Telash     "Guilt by association is a very human notion. My matesprit wanted to play the part of crime lady, so she did... without hurting anyone, and while depriving the people you're really mad at of some of their loot. In a situation like this, I've got no need to do... /that/." Vruasa jerks his head in the direction of the many, many bodies that linger. He unfolds his arms, allowing the illusion to recede enough for his teeth to look properly sharklike, and smiles. This is a surefire hint that he is in fact not particularly human, though WHAT he is is hard to say.

A glance is cast towards the bodies again, "Besides, whether or not we were here, these people's hourglasses were up. Smashed and out of sand. That would have happened even if we'd visited a hotdog stand and ice cream shop on the other side of town. In essence, we had no real practical influence on the events that transpired here."

"It's not possible to protect every life around you. A lot of guys like those cops ask for my blessings, but the fact of the matter is that their job is to bet their lives that they can defeat their enemy." Vruasa turns around and heads out through a broken window, glass crunching underneath his feet. He waves at Shirou, "That's a cool power you have. It would've worked if I was somebody else, but I'm not easy to knock over. Just hit me as hard as you can next time, if there is one."

With those words, Vruasa retreats down the street. He pauses at a hot dog stand a block away, and orders a hideously messy chilidog before vanishing from the scene altogether.
