Thranduil      Without the moon, once the sun sets, the only light in the area of Rohvannon is from the stars, and even those aren't the stars that are usually seen through the treetops. The stars do offer a little light, a pale, dull light not even bright enough to cast a shadow. The archway formed by leafless trees indicates the way into Mirkwood, an entrance watched by the Elves as well as the Orcs and other unsavory beasts.

It is unusual, but the Elvenking is outside, wearing his outer robe with billowing sleeves that hide his folded hands. He stares up at the sky, his stark blue eyes trying to make sense of what's been happening. It is a bit frustrating not knowing what happened to the moon and the stars.
Fang Last Night---
Fang found himself cast into the Multiverse, though others informed him that his world could be here and a few wanting to give him a place to stay. The young man turned it away and made his way out of the Volcanic wasteland and has wondered for some time in this confusing world before at last exhaustion and hunger-- perhaps even dehydration-- caught up with him.

The only reason he even came to such a place outside these enchanted forests was because forests normally had water and food to hunt.. but he was to tired. Yet though his will was trying to push him along, he found his vision starting to go out and the young man with light tan skin, white hair that almost hid his slightly elf-like ears, and vibrant aqua blue eyes with near cat-like pupils, at last came crashing down to the ground.

He laid upon the grass, just outside of Mirkwood, if perhaps not partly within its borders. Unknowing if this may indeed be his very last moment and his only final thought was how much he hated his creator for it.
Mihk Lihzeh     It's an uncommon sight outside of the Eozean areas, for a Miqo'te. The cat-like woman strides with a self assured purpose, traveling through this land with only her travel provisions, and her Book to protect her. She adjusts the glasses perched on her nose, dusky dark skin, dark purple hair and mismatched eyes gleaming as they reflect what available light there is.

Being a Keeper of the Moon, her night vision is second to none within her home region. She spots the prone figure long before she gets in range to assist him, speeding up her pace and pulling her tome from the resting place at her side. With purpose, she opens the tome, turning to the correct page with a practiced ease and kneels nearby. "Hold on, I know healing magicks." she says softly, pouring mana into a the tome.

An Arcane Geometry forms over the pages, then spreads out under her figure, encompassing Fang's body as Mihk draws on the rather thin local Aetheric current. "Please work... this is very thin Aether..." she murmurs to herself, finally casting the spell, pouring healing energies into the young man.
Thranduil      Thranduil turns his attention in the direction of the entrance to the forest. His senses are as keen as the Silvan Elves, if not moreso, so even something at that distance can be picked up. "Someone approaches." he tells the guard. "Bring them to me. If they even utter the word Union, see that they are thrown in the dungeons immediately. Should they appear friendly, bring them to me for questioning. We will find out what has happened to our world and discover where these outsiders are coming from."
Fang The young man doesn't move when Mihk comes over to him, though the magic helps some and it becomes obvious as his hand moves slightly and then he tries to open his eyes to look at who was near him. The guy had to at least be in his early to mid twenties. Those eyes though weakly opening were so vibrant in their color, not natural eyes by any stretch and those slit like pupils only added to that.

"Neko...clan..?" He asks gently before he then tries to get up, before he body collapses back down once more. "..hungry.." he murmurs out as he tries once more.

The guy really wasn't doing well.
Mihk Lihzeh     Mihk nods, then reaches into her belt pouch for one of her travel rations. She moves to break a piece off. "Here... tis not flavourful, but contains everything needed by most bodies." she says, though her ears flick slightly.

Elves are supernaturally quiet, but even they make some noise, and in a flash of motion, she draws a Geometry from her Book again, holding it ready. "Show yourself. If we are encrouching on privately owned land, I ask we be allowed enough time to make this man ready to travel... if you mean us harm I can, and will protect myself and this man from harm." her voice carries well, one used to command, but one also used to teach, should one have heard similar before.
Thranduil      A half dozen Elves come dropping down out of the trees and come out of the overgrowth. They have their weapons ready but not trained upon them just yet. "Who are you?" One female scout asks, reaching into her pocket and offering something wrapped in a supple green leaf. It is Lembas bread, which will restore anyone to traveling condition within minutes. "You are to come with us by order of the King."
Fang The young man takes the piece from the feline-like woman and quickly eats it down, which causes him to cough in return for eating it to fast. Though he tries to hold his composure even if the stuff tastes /horrible/. That is when he watches her quickly react and then takes notice of the elves with weapons and furrows his brows slightly.

He looks at the wrapped leaves and takes it, as he then takes a few bites of the bread within as well. Chewing on it and staring at each of the elves. If they were trained well enough, they probably notice he had fierce eyes-- warrior eyes. Though even in a weakened state, he showed a stance of someone who was not fearful and even now, there was no concern about being out numbered.

...Probably making him foolish at best.

Once he takes another bite, he then goes to stand up, "My name is Fang." He says to her, looking the woman elf dead on, then he jabs his thumb over at Mihk, "..and not sure who she is.." He then looks at her, "..and who are you? By the way, thanks for the ration.. though this stuff tastes better." He says waving what is left of the bread.
Mihk Lihzeh     Mihk looks over the six elves. A highly dubious situation, at best. If she were alone, she could have summoned her Carbuncle and escaped in the confusion, but with Fang weak and unable to move on his own. "My name is Mihk Lihzeh. I am a traveller." she replies in a practiced half-lie. "If your King wishes to speak with us, we shall come."

The Miqo'te releases the Aether, letting it flow back into the local current, before stowing her book at her belt. She watches Fang with the Lembas bread. "I will say, that smells much better than the travel food I purchased in a Hyur town several Malms from here... 'Cram' they called it. Tasteless, but functional." a pause. "For the most part anyway."

As Fang stands up, so too does she. To the Elves she says. "You are no Elezen... but very close. Regardless, take us to your King, if he wishes to speak with us."
Thranduil      "It is Lembas bread. You are in the woodland realm of Mirkwood. Our orders are to bring any further intruders to the king. If you come peacefully you will not be taken to the cells. If you resist, then we will have no choice but to place you in there until he is ready for you. I must ask - from where do you come?" THey have strict orders to immediately eject anyone that uses the word Union. "Do you come from another land or are you from the outside lands?"
Fang Fang snaps a look at Mihk, "Hey, hey. You don't speak for me, got it? I speak for myself." He tsks softly before he wraps up what is left of the Lembas bread and seems to store it away behind him in a pouch of some kind.

"Lembas bread. Got it." He then looks at the elves around him again and crosses his arms over his chest. "I don't come from here. I was actually trying to find away /back/ to my home lands so I can beat a goddess to the inch of her life for, well.." he places out his hands, "Cursing me like this!"

"She stripped me of my adult form and put me back into the state I was before my fledging. All the minuses that come with it too." Something Fang has quickly learned while he traveled that long night till he arrived here.

"So, if your highness wants to meet me, fine. I'll meet him, can't say I much think of the fact he wasn't willing to come out here himself though." Fang does leave off the fact he is the Dragon Emperor, given right now-- he has realized that is a pointless title.

Fang then looks over to Mihk before he raises a brow, "..also what is a Hy-- whatever that was you said."
Mihk Lihzeh     "I hail from Eorzea... tis an 'outside land' as you call it." replies the Miqo'te, adjusting her glasses with a small smirk. To Fang she says, keeping that smirk. "Forgive me. I must have forgotten my place as the one that just saved your life." she goads.

A shrug is given, and the Miqo'te moves to approach the 'escort' "Lead on, let us get this over with." her ears twitch at the various small noises, then she looks back at Fang. "Hyur... tis a being in form much like yourself, though without the slit pupil eyes." she remarks casually.
Thranduil      The Elves lower their weapons, but don't sheathe them just yet. "Please follow us, then. We have had hostile intruders lately so forgive our apprehension. King Thranduil will likely just ask you a few questions and let you go. Everyone has been on edge since the moon disappeared and the stars changed." She leads them along the path. "Do not stray from the path. These woods are full of danger."
Fang Fang then hmphs, "Yeah. You better not forget your place around me." He jabs right back at Mihk. Yes-- he is one of those types. The types that are royal jerks, but honestly-- he does have a good heart, really... somewhere in there.

Fang raises a brow as the Elven woman speaks, then he starts to follow her and the others. "Don't go off the path huh? Right." He then looks at her for a moment before he tilts his head faintly to the side, that long braid of his barely moving as he walks, "So, last I checked in proper customs here. I gave you my name, so don't I have the right to know what yours is in turn?"
Mihk Lihzeh     Mihk chortles softly, covering her mouth behind her hand with a mirthful little squint in her eyes. "My my, someone is full of themself." she retorts softly, though does her level best to follow the elven group. "Remain on the path. Understood." she then shivers a little, glancing off into the murk. "Tis a fitting name for this place... and the energy here... stifling."
Thranduil      "I am certain the Elvenking will tell you more about it." She looks back over her shoulder at Fang and Mihk. "I am but one of a number of Silvan Elves. My name is not important in the long run. It is Taliel. If you stray from the path, you could lose your mind. These woods were not always this way. As we approach the entrance to the kingdom, it will be come less stifling, as the sun touches the ground. There are few safe places but as long as the sun reaches the ground, it will be safe from Orcs and Spiders."
Fang Fang ignores Mihk's remark and listens to what Taliel has to say. He hms softly at her words and her explanation at this place. "I take it something went really wrong to put such a curse on the land, right?" He says with a frown on his face. "Well, Taliel, maybe when I find away to undo my own curse, I'll come back here and help you guys knock some sense into whoever cursed your lands."

"That just isn't right."

See. He has a heart.
Mihk Lihzeh     Mihk becomes somber. If one could look into her memory right this instant, they'd see a black moon, pulsing with red light as it falls towards the ground. "Much like home..." she murmurs, then shakes her head. "I offer my own aid also, should such a being be discovered... tampering with the natural order like this... tis worse than Beastmen and their Twelve cursed Primals."
Thranduil      "I am certain King Thranduil will be appreciative of any help, but it is quite a bit more complicated than that. It is believed that the Necromancer has taken up residence in the ruins of Dol Guldur. War will soon be upon us. It will take all our strength to fight back the shadows then." THey come to a narrow bridge, and the elves allow their 'guests' to go first. At the end of the bridge is a pair of large green doors carved with ornate patterns. The doors are opened and they are permitted inside the halls to the kingdom, which are much more spacious than one would have believed from the outside.
Fang Fang listens to what is explained though he gives Mihk a curious look at what she talks about. "You have some interesting words in your vocabulary..and I am not sure if that is good or bad yet."

Once they go inside, the Dragon Emperor takes in all the sights he can. He does an actual spin around and whistles a bit, being impressed by what he sees. "I must admit, you elves have some pretty nice decorations. Love to take some of this back home to my own keep, I must admit."

In some ways, he will probably need to fight his draconic urge to go snatch the shinies if he sees one. Which may be tricky-- but he'll try! Fang then looks over to Taliel, "War huh? I use to wage a few wars myself." He says with a grin. "Great times those were, my four generals and I. Nothing could stop us! None of the other clans." He seems to be off in memory lane before his brows furrow. "..damn Clunea.." he mutters under his breath before he snorts to the side.

"But, I am being honest. I love a good fight! I'll do whatever I can to lend you guys a hand when the time comes. You know.. for the bread and all." He cuts then a glance at Mihk. "..and maybe you two.. but I'm still judging you for that ration that nearly made me choke."
Mihk Lihzeh     "Blame not I. Blame the Hyur that made it." she retorts stiffly, folding her arms over her chest and turning her nose up to one side. "Besides, had I not come along, you would likely have died and rotted where you fell. And I'm sure none would have wept over your corpse." she adds, sniping with just a hint of malice.

Her eyes take less of the architecture in, though she does appreciate it. "Much like Gridania the Elezen capitol. I'm sure the Seedseer and her ilk would be well at home here." At Fang's comment on her vocabulary she snorts. "Different worlds." is her only response to the dragonman. Man dragon? Trogdor?
Thranduil      "Follow this path to the Elvenking." The female Elf says, bowing slightly as she indicates the bridge. At the end of the bridge is a large platform with some narrow steps leading up to a throne that has a moose antler and twisted root motif. Standing there is a tall, platinum blonde man with oddly dark eyebrows. He holds his wooden staff with one hand, looking down at the guests as they approach. "Welcome. You do not seem at all violent like the others we have seen. Tell me...who are you and why are you here?"
Fang Fang cuts a glance over to Mihk. "That is what you think, which only says you don't know a thing about how to judge someone when you look at them."

When they are brought into the main throne room, Fang goes to meet the gaze of the king here and does a quick glance up and down of the man. He rests his hands on his hips for a moment, before his arms come to rest by his side. "Greetings to you as well." He says with a quick nod of his head, before raises his hand up and motions to himself. "My name is Fang and didn't mean to intrude on your space. I was trying to find my way back home to take care of some business someone started with me and honestly--" He then shrugs, "I have no idea where I am from here to there. Lost as a new born pup and started to make my way to your woods in hopes to find food and water before I continued on."

Fang then snorts to the side, as his thoughts rumble on the fact she could have had at least left him with some food and water when she decided to curse him...
Mihk Lihzeh     Mihk just shrugs at Fang's comments, before bowing politely to the Elvenking. "My name is Mihk Lihzeh. I am a traveller. My path would have taken me around your borders, had I not encountered Fang, here." she relates, straightening up and gesturing to the man beside her. "I did not mean to trespass, as I had been warned of the dangers of this forest from the locals in a Hyur village some Malms distant."

The Miqo'te's ears twitch and flick idly as she talks, giving away her mood, if one were familiar with Miqo'te body language.
Thranduil      "I am Thranduil, king of the woodland realm. I will let you go, if you will answer some questions for me." He has such a young face for one with such a presence, one hand wrapped around the wooden staff, the other at his side, adorned with rings resembling thorns and branches. "This kingdom is over four hundred miles long. It would be quite a journey to go around it, if you were to survive."
Fang Fang then hrmphs softly. "I see. If I had a sword and some decent armor, I may be able too. Given what I heard one of your guards say," Fang then shows he isn't dumb Brave, but not dumb. "The forests are enchanted and that doesn't bode well even if you are armed."

Fang crosses his arms over his chest about then. "..and if I had my wings again.. I would just fly over it-- but that wont happen until I break the curse that is on me." He then shakes his head. "I still don't know what got that goddess in such a fuss. All I asked was a simply question she couldn't even give me a straight answer too."

The young man then shrugs his shoulders, "But whatever-- so-- what are the questions, Your highness?"
Mihk Lihzeh     "Ask your questions and I will answer to the best of my ability." replies Mihk, folding her arms loosely around her middle, tail swaying idly behind her. "As for the distance, I have covered much more in my relatively short time travelling." she then grins, displaying her fangs. "And I am more than able to defend myself."
Thranduil      "Anything that is not a bird that flies over these woods will immediately be shot down. Mirkwood was once known as Greenwood The Great. Over time a great sickness encroached upon the land, turning it into what you see now."

Coming down from standing in front of his throne, Thrandual begins pacing with his hands clasped behind his back. "You are as foolish as the ones that invaded here last night." He says sharply to Mihk. "If you think you can defend yourself against everything out there when armies of Middle Earth's finest could not, then go ahead. The birds will pick what is left of your bones clean by daybreak." He resumes pacing and considers. "I want to know how you got here. I have heard mention of a portal but I have not seen it. I wish to destroy it."
Mihk Lihzeh     An unladylike snort, and a soft feline growl is all the response Thranduil gets to his comment. She pulls her arms that little bit tighter around her, and shrugs. "I came through a thing like a large stone ring, with what looked to be a pool of water stood upright. I began my journey via Aetherite from the town area of Moraby Drydock in Lower La Noscea."

"From my understanding of these... Warp Gates... they cannot be undone by any magicks, nor destroyed by force of arms."
Fang "I did not use any portal." Fang states with a shake of his head. "Just my two feet and my sheer will to return back to my world." He hrms a bit, "But given your troubles, maybe we can work something out, you know? I need armor and weapons, you need help it seems taking down what is bring trouble to your lands. So maybe I can aid you the battle.. Maybe, just maybe if I can get my physical strength to match my steel will again. I can even lend you my full power!"

Fang then glances off to the side for a moment before he looks back to the King of these lands, "And I'm willing to work as well. After all, until I can figure out where Clunea threw me off too, no point in wasting my energy on going in circles."
Thranduil      Thranduil tilts his head back, frowning slightly. "I am not yet willing to entrust outsiders with the power and strength of Elvish armor and weapons. I can have some that we have confiscated from other beings brought to you, however. I want to know how outsiders are getting as far as our borders, and I want to know how to stop it. Provide me with what I seek and perhaps I will aid you."
Fang Fang nods, "I'm not asking for your people's gear.. just anything that is better then what I got-- or even a smith that be willing to fix a broken blade I have in my pack." He means that pouch? Fang then taps his chin. "And I'll work with you. I know how I feel if this was my own place and my clan.. we were known to not be messed with.. including myself. So I'll look around and see what I can find out for you."

He then looks at Mihk, "What you say, huh? You got that book and all. Maybe you can jot down some notes too."
Mihk Lihzeh     "I can make no promises. However, I could ask some friends of mine if they could look into the situation." replies Mihk. "And I require no equipment save what I have already. My book is all I require to defend myself." she adds, glancing over at Fang with a frown. "An Arcanima Grimoire is NOT some, glorified note book, you uncultured twalk."
Thranduil      "Ava quete!!" Thranduil barks in Elvish, his eyes sharp and cold. "Cease squabbling at once. I will have the armor brought to you on your way out as a reward for offering what information you could give me. The guards will see you to the edge of the forest nearest the river. I suggest you make your way out from there rather than retracing your steps."
Fang Fang doesn't even retort back to Mihk, even as the elven king barks out. He only gives her a look and quirk of a smile on his lips. He then gives a nod to the king, "Thank you, your highness. If I find anything else out. I'll make sure to only come to the borders." He then takes a step back and smiles, "But don't worry! I always keep my word! It will be done."
Mihk Lihzeh     Mihk's ears flatten at the barked exclamation. She says nothing further on the subject, merely giving a nod in affirmation.

"If I find anything out. I will inform you." she offers as well.
