Lilian Rook     This particular region is where the spooky oceanic isles of location-based night and day, filled with faeries, spirits, ghosts, monsters, and hard highlanders of the shadowed lands, give way to a single towering islet. A soccer field's worth of green space is available at the very top, far above the crashing waves, on the very precipice where night geographically gives way to dawn.

Lilian's experimental runework is everywhere --the same as on Luna-- surrounding a softly sparkling spire of starlight that arches high and far away from the islet's edge, and vanishes off into the night sky. A rainbow marks the spot on the edge of dawn, though it's already much easier to find by everything else going on.

Namely, the knockoff Norse gods forgot to show up. The entities Lilian has made contact with by altering time to force the bridge to appear every day instead of every full moon are actually, it seems, enterprising spacemen. The blinking lights of spaceships in geosynchronous orbit hover far above, pestered by the burning lights of atmospheric craft descending and ascending, back and forth, with some kind of precious cargo. How Lilian had all these sealed and stamped (and lead-lined? why?) crates hauled out here is a mystery she doesn't bother answering, but the vast supplies of space-mined raw minerals and retrofuturistic gadgets and glowing chemicals she's checking off in return most certainly have an intended future use.

Tamamo and Ishirou are welcomed to use a rather podunk excuse for a 'lounge', being half a dozen anachronistic sofas (that hover, for some reason) surrounding a campfire and flanked by carved tables and self-powered coolers. A permanent beer and smores spot by the sea.
Ishirou Ishirou shows up not too long after the invites were sent out.  He had to just run by Medical for a quick check-up.  Nothing was wrong, he was just strained from the effort of that previous encounter.  Now he's here in comfortable ware.  Which is a garishly loudly colored sweater.  It was Neon green and actually looked comfortable.  He was also in a pair of shorts.

"Oh, this is neat!" he says, sitting on a hovering sofa with an oof as he lands on it.  He leans over the edge of one to check out what's in the coolers.  Mostly curious about what's actually stored in there.  Though for planning he goes for anything non-alcoholic right now.

No need to drink the dumb juice until after things are planned.
Tamamo     Tamamo hasn't been here, previously. Rather, she hasn't seen any of Lilian's latest efforts, heavier as they are, compared to the previous active period in Secundus. For her own part, there's no sign at all that she'd just been in a battle. She's even changed (when? how?) into something about as close to practical 'hiking gear' as an uninformed city girl's idea of the topic. The sleeveless jacket with the knit undershirt is at least very comfortable, and looks appropriate while in the general vicinity of a campfire, though the jewelry and other features veer it back into a different genre.

She sits down on one of the couches only after inspecting the food supplies.
Lilian Rook     Food and drink are, unfortunately, mostly for the zeerust spacemen to enjoy. Chilled beer (and oddly, tang) goes with hotdogs, grilled cheese, bacon, and stews, of the rock simple rustic type where the attraction is the open flame that one can't light on a ship. Lilian has her own reserved, mostly filled with indulgent chocolate and merlot, though there's at least overpriced bottled water and some kind of electrolyte drink mixed in.

Lilian returns from discussing something with a man in a bubble helmet, filing away her holographic window spreadsheets like flipping a clip file shut. "Thank you for finding the time, Ishirou." A helpless smile at Tamamo. "Really? Even after all of that? Where do you find the energy to dress up for every little thing?" Passing by, she leans down to peck Tamamo on the forehead, before finding a seat herself.

"If you must know, Ishirou, I'm shipping the surplus of vibranium being produced from the industrial base I've recently finished setting up atop Lowell's flying 'bazaar'. Stark has been more than kind enough to share his proprietary synthesis process with me alone, in exchange for a . . . favour. Provided this passes muster, I'll be brokering with the G.D.F and some of the Immunes corps more favoured contractors." She picks up and flicks the length of her wand out, toying with the end with a fingertip. "Ideally, I'd like to leave some of my own improvements on the experimental gear my unit is testing. But the interactions of vibranium with magic are, understandably, direly understudied."

She clears her throat. "So, what first? Cantio's operation, Secundus, or . . . ?"
Ishirou Ishirou gives a wave to Tanamo as she sits down.  This is after some Tang and a hotdog.  This stuff really DOES go together.  Though someone might suggest he eat something healthier, right now he doesn't care what goes in.  He's just that hungry.  Also indulging in some comfort foods might go a long way.

Lilian gets a nod as he finishes up the food.  "Oh yeah?  Wow, that's going to have some neat studies with it I bet.  If you need some help with research on that I'd be more than happy to help!" It actually seems very interesting, as he knows that metal is very rare and ways to process it are rarer still.

"Also I just assumed it was one of her powers to just be able to be nicely dressed whenever she arrives somewhere," Ishirou says with a chuckle.

"Hmm...where to start.  Well, Secundus first, probably?"
Tamamo     Tamamo returns the smile, more so at Lilian's gesture, and with less reservation. Maybe just a little mischievously, though that could be a fox thing.

"Come to that, I have yet to see the areas Ishirou is investigating, though I have heard some little talk of it. To speak of Secundus is to speak of many unanswered mysteries, and one may while away many a night on their discussion, perhaps. To speak of specific concerns, I cannot say I have any as could be called 'urgent,' apart from... ah, just a bit of unease at the sudden closeness of places under principal investigation by certain others. I imagine I may continue without too many problems arising, if I do so as I have been."

Crossing her legs, fingers laced over top, she continues, "Cantio's efforts are rather concerning, though they have not always turned out horribly, of course. The nation so afflicted is still under the sway of foreign powers, even now, including hers, and supported by mercenary forces, who owe no allegiance, and for whom limb, if not life, is held with little value. I have never had a great deal of success with understanding the thoughts of soldiers, as simple as they may, at times, be. For the sake of those who have lost a beloved leader, I do feel concern, the helpful nature of some of her aid notwithstanding."
Lilian Rook     Lilian has nothing to say on the subject of Ishirou's dinner. He's a growing boy after all. However, for herself, right now it's just a protein bar and sports drink. She checks the time and removes the colour contact first, needing to clean it now. "Come to think of it, you might like that, Ishirou. You did design that mecha, didn't you? Ah, of course it's exceedingly rare in its natural form, but as Stark does, he has his own secrets I'm not at liberty-- well, no, I'm simply too selfish to share regardless, haha~"

It is time for Lilian to fondly behold Tamamo. The fondness is, of course, amply visible, even with the somewhat eerie heterochromia currently going on. Tamamo is working on that. "Cantio isn't strictly in the wrong for once. Even if she's annoying, lazy, and an attention whore. My plan is to eliminate the Treasurer's capacity for military retaliation to the General's level, investigate from both accounts the conditions under which the Prime Minister was assassinated, root out the elements responsible, make an example of them, then instate a Commonwealth specialist as a stopgap and run another election."

"The General stays the General, and the Treasure might keep his job too, depending on his attitude; the fabric of that country is far too pinned on hopes and recent democratic revolutions to allow an undemocratic default to power like that. Having them build a proper army has to be top of the list at the same time, given how poorly it went when they sold the soul of their nation to PMCs. I'm sure I could poach the contract and make those goons worth the credit. Perhaps sic them on Wiremu or something." Lilian laughs to herself through her nose. "It is a shame that we can't just pan for his cadaver and have Blackwell fix him up. If only raising the dead were within my purview. And I don't think it'd be quite the same if Grimm did."

"As for Secundus . . ." Lilian leans back into her cushions. "I didn't lie to Pramanix. I'm not out to run myself ragged building an empire. This is all to stay sharp and move the hands forward while I'm . . ." She touches where her scar is under the makeup. "Unable to see to certain other duties. A place to call my own, rich and secure, is fine by me. And I loathe having anyone breathing down my neck with their presence. I'm perfectly happy to give you whatever you'll need, as long as you'll oust the Concord from the place I want to build."
Ishirou "I dunno about lazy, I'd say sometimes more thoughtless," Ishirou says, thinking about Cantio.  "I don't think she's all bad, but I think it's a lack of guidance in her growth that has caused her current situation...and besides she's dealing with it better than Staren.  There are worse people to have to deal with this on.."

"Yeah, once I have a chance to look over all of the records and data at each one of their bases...well we can at the very least try and rule them out as assassins first.  Though if someone would have access to the president, the contacts to prime the PMCs, and the money to start this...I'd lie in the Treasurer."

"Though that doesn't sit well with me either.  I think it's not as simple as that...I think there is someone who is behind the scenes trying to angle something, but as to exactly what their game is..?  I don't have the data yet."

When talk turns to Secundus, "Yeah I can help with that.  Containing Staren won't be hard...and that other territory she owns has the potential for a lot of Red resonance.  So taking both and boxing her in would be a winning play, I think."

"I mean, as I got support in defending the choke points.  I'm very resonant with green and blue, and not at all with red.  On the other hand, we can quickly build up and reinforce those areas."
Tamamo     Ishirou isn't entirely wrong. Dressing up is, arguably, a superpower possessed by few.

"Oh, have you been designing your own--" Tamamo takes a moment with the word, "--mecha, Ishirou? That is rather different from studying those instances you find, no? Ah, but I knew you were involved in the design of certain other things, and we have spoken of the need for a magical reactor of some kind, at the leyline nexus near Boothill. I should have guessed, in that case." Tamamo know how to design neither mecha nor magic reactors, so she, naturally, assumes them to be equivalently difficult.

"There are a few who can take answers from the dead, at the very least, myself included. Should I see the place in which it occurred, I might still find some evidence as would slip through the purely material." She doesn't know much about democratic government, either, but understands the general gist, as well as the people having their own hopes for their nation, which must take to a particular style of governance.

As for Secundus, "I suppose I can provide some little aid. Oh, but you know I will support you in all things, of course, Lilian." She is keeping to certain polite levels in displaying her own fondness, for respect of 'being in company.' "I had not heard this discussion with Miss Pramanix, I think, yet I do recall the prior period's events. 'Resonance' is a curious thing. I come to understand some of it, slowly, perhaps."

She stops to think. "That place I had shown you before is close enough to one of... Wiremu's, I believe. I am not sure as to how much I shall be able to accomplish just yet, but we shall see, yes?"
Ishirou Ishirou beams a little, "Not entirely by myself! Blemishine helped a lot with the principles I am weaker on, but I did a lot of the stuff that helped better synchronize with my own stuff. I improved some designs too...I guess she taught me!"
Lilian Rook     "Then let's say that she has an 'excessive fondness for shortcuts'." Lilian remarks, desert dry, on Ishirou. "'There's always worse' isn't quite the sub-glowing praise you might think it is." She thinks just a moment on the main subject. "I don't think that it's primarily plausible that the Treasurer would have orchestrated it. Otherwise, his forces would have been in a far better position to capitalize, rather than both splinter factions being caught flat-footed. I'm inclined to believe there really is a third party."

Lilian's head softly tilts over when Tamamo makes her own declaration. "Mmm . . . You know, I never thought of it that way, but I suppose you could, couldn't you? You're just too perfect, you know. Of course, we'll soon find out if it's really even a mystery at all, or if who and how matters at all, but I'll start working that into my predictions, just in case."

A little laugh follows. "You know I'll appreciate every single little bit of help you have to offer, Tamamo. When has there ever been anything we couldn't do betwee the two of us? If Ishirou is pitching in, this should be perfectly simple." She looks to him. "The Concord is largely incompetent and divided. Their heaviest hitter is on good terms with me, and the Watch is willing to play ball for once, or so it seems. We'll simply box them in one at a time. I don't like leaving 'Chains Knight' stacking up in my space, but eliminating Wiremu's interference and consolidating my claims immediately comes first."

"Building up a production base is something I'd like your talents put towards early on; I should be fairly well suited to taking down the enemy at the same time, if I don't have to split my efforts too badly. I've already made a deal with Pramanix and called in a minor favour with Persephone to that end. As long as we prevent any of them adjoining us from reaching critical mass, we should run away with the lead. Since I've set a defined boundary, I'll be seeing if I can interconnect my perimeter to provide several avenues of attack each. Then I should be able to create a bridge to your own territories."
