Ayako Hasekawa     The Bar and Grill at the Edge of the Multiverse is one of those places where you're never sure just who you're going to meet. Be it someone who's hungry, thirsty, or just plain bored, anything and everything eventually finds it's way here. Speaking of which, one Ayako Hasekawa is seated at the bar. The water spirit, dressed like a human witch with a water motif, is spinning on the bar stool like a little child would.

"Wheeee..." Ayako cheerfully spins while holding a glass filled with ice. Of course, it's not plain ice. This is special ice with an odd greenish tinge. As a connoisseur of fine water, the watery girl wouldn't just munch on any ice-especially if she wanted something from this establishment! And so once in a while, she stops spinning to munch down on a piece of ice-none of which is or has melted, by the way.
Teresa     Teresa enters as well, and with company. A girl who's head only comes up to her waist is tagging along behind her, and clinging with both hands to one of hers. Once the pair enters, the taller woman leads the younger to the bar itself, seating herself first. She reaches down, grabs her younger companion under the arms, and lifts her up, placing her on the stool next to her, the pair seated down a little further from Ayako. "Go ahead, get what you want. I know you're hungry. Damn kid, you're bottomless, lately. Guess you have more growing to do, huh?" The blonde woman remarks, which only earns her a grin from the younger companion.

"Just water, for me. Some bread, as well, if you have some." For her, standard fair. She'll be able to subsist on that for a couple of weeks, at the least, depending on how much of it she eats and drinks.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako stops spinning on the bar stool and tosses a bit of ice into her mouth. She crunches on it cheerfully and hops off the stool. No, she isn't dizzy from spinning in place for who-knows-how long. She walks over to Teresa and the girl that entered with her and-remembers to swallow the ice she's chewing. Okay, good.

Ayako waves hello happily to Teresa and the girl. "Hello! Eehh? Just water and bread? Will you be okay with only that?"
Teresa     Teresa turns her head, focusing her silver eyes on the young witch. Water spirit? Witch. She's dressed like one, at least. The girl is intently going over the menu, trying to find what she wants, apparently. After a somewhat tense stare, Teresa's gaze softens. "It will do, for someone like me. For a while, anyway." True or not, the bartender returns with a small, hot loaf of bread and a glass of water, with ice in it. Normal ice. "And you? Only ice?"
Hana     Hana is here in the Bar and Grill. She is lurking among a crowd of people, hiding behind their feet. It is causing a bit of a stir, but she doesn't realize how obvious she's being. The flower bush creature does a cartoonish wide-stride sneak, arms held out at her sides. Each step makes her body jiggle like she's a water balloon full of slime, so it looks incredibly strange.

She seems to have a black mask made out of some torn cloth over her big eye.

A restaurant goer stops her, wondering what she's doing, but before he can speak the bush hisses a loud whisper at him, "SHHHHH." ... "I'm /the Hiding Bush/." And then the strange monsterling lurks over in the direction of Ayako and Teresa.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako inclines her head to the side gently. "Eehh? Really? Well, I'm not really one to talk, anyway!" She giggles brightly, and then nods quickly with Teresa's assessment. "Yup! Only ice." She cheerfully pops another chunk of greenish ice into her mouth.

After she finishes chewing and swallowing, "I'm Ayako Hasekawa, a human water witch." And then winks playfully and sticks out her tongue slightly. "Just kidding! I'm a water spirit!" She nods her head once. "It's because of that, that, that, and that I'm okay with just eating ice." Her head inclines to the side gently. "Although I'm just eating this because I like it, to be honest."
Teresa     "Well, I'm no human, either. I won't need to eat like this, for some time." Teresa responds, though not really.. picking up on the humor. "Teresa." She gestures to herself, and then to her younger companion. "And this is Clare." The younger girl pokes her head up and glances around a bit, but as soon as she meets eyes with Ayako, she buries her face in the menu again. "A bit shy, this one."

The blonde woman turns her head a little, silver eyes focusing directly at Hana, whether she stops moving, or not. She stares, long enough that her eyes might unsettle. Or, at least, say 'I know you're there'.
Hana     Hana stops near Ayako and Teresa ... and Clare. The tiny flower bush creature stares at the group, utterly unsure how to act. It tries to think of a good way to handle this, wracking its monster brain to think of a good way to introduce itself to them, or maybe just say hello without scaring them off or inciting violence.

Failing to think of anything, Hana drools stupidly and keeps its eye fixed on Teresa in instinctual fear. Completely frozen.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako smiles cheerfully, "Nice to meet you, Teresa. Hmm...? Well, that's pretty conveinent." And then she smiles gently at the younger girl when her eyes meet. "And nice to meet you, Clare." She glances back at Teresa and ahhs softly. Ayako doesn't seem to be offended or anything. If anything, she seems to be good with children. "Nothing wrong with being a little shy."

Ayako smiles softly as she glances for a moment at Hana. "Oh don't stare so hard at that. It's obviously The Hiding Bush." She nods her head slowly as she pops another piece of greenish ice into her mouth.
Teresa     Teresa turns her gaze back from Hana, to Ayako. "And you." She shrugs gently, while Clare gets the bartender's attention and just points at the menu to order. "She doesn't really talk to anyone else, all that much." She remarks, after tilting her head. A moment more, and she addresses Hana. "If you were going to act hostile, you would have done so already. And.. well. This place has rules."
Hana     Hana breaks out of her confused stupor when Teresa actually speaks to it. One can almost feel the question marks in their head from her voice when she practically bellows, "Why are you so scary!?" It is quite clear that Hana being here is not a common occurance, because immediately after that she looks around at a few of the looks she gets and wilts in more ways than one, seeming ashamed of her outburst. She sucks up the sap-like drool and just cowers there, silently.
Clearly she needs to work on her bravery.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako sits down on the chair next to Teresa, not wanting to make Clare uncomfortable. "Ahh, I see, I see." Another piece of ice gets thrown into her mouth and she glances back at Hana. "Yup... it definitely has rules, this place."

And Ayako visibly startles when Hana suddenly bellows out loud. "Ah. I didn't know your voice was that loud! So yes, indoor voice, please." She giggles softly-which stop once she notices Hana wilting a bit. "Ah. Relax, relax. Give me some deep breaths. Breathe in, breathe out. Breathe in, breathe out." She smiles gently at Hana as she does as she requests herself.
