Hamada Haru     PREVIOUSLY...

In the past of Kamen Rider Mach and Mashin Chaser, the group averted an event that would incite fiery prejudice against roidmude in Mach, and lead to the deaths of many roidmude. After resetting the instigators -- 017 and 018 -- the group was confronted by an unpleasant realization: Somebody had stolen the Time Mazine and used it for nefarious purposes! Emerging from the time mazine was Mach's own sister, wearing a belt similar to Kamen Rider Drive! But when she spoke, it wasn't with her own voice-- and soon after she transformed into Kamen Rider Gold Drive!

    NOW...

"And now," Banno says, striding towards Mach. "We will see if you and your friends are worthy to return to the time from which you came... or if you'll return the 'long way'."

Gold Drive seizes Go by the front of his shirt. "Hurry up and re-transform, or this will be over before it even begins!" Which is the precise moment that he hurls Go through a nearby window, transitioning the fight back out into the street below.

In the wake of shattering glass, Gold Drive leaps out immediately after Go, landing gracefully on the street.

Go Shijima      Go's pained cry rises above the clangor of broken glass, landing in a heap and rolling across the sidewalk. His cheek, the back of one hand, the palm of the other--all sport new cuts from this. It takes him a moment, to get off the ground. He's... alive? After all this time? Go's fist clenches. Kiriko--

A strangled noise, between pained, aggrieved and furious, escapes Go as he shakily gets back to his feet, limbs heavy as lead. "How dare you..." He slots the FiveS bike back into his belt, seething as his eyes bore daggers into Kiriko's puppeteered eyes.

                              Signal Bike! RIDER!!

"How dare you talk about worthy, after EVERYTHING YOU DID!"

Without his showmanship, without his catchphrase--"HENSHIN!"

                                   MACH 555!

Sleek, aerodynamic armor is flash forged onto his body, his teary eyes disappearing beneath the blue visor of the superbike racing-themed armor. "LET KIRIKO GO!" He roars, before crossing the short distance between them in an instant, his form briefly indistinct from incredible speed, blind anger suggesting that if he just grapples her (let alone whether he'll even be able to) then someone, anyone, will be able to help.
Hellwarming Trio With 017 and 017 reset, it's time to go home! Except not really, because something strange happens with the Time Mazine, and everyone's confronted by... Kiriko? No! It's Gold Drive, and Banno's in control! With the window shattered, it's easy enough to get outside safely, and all three of the yokai land in a wide formation facing Gold Drive.

"Hey! I don't get what's going on, but you better get out of Miss Kiriko's head!"
"And her body! You ain't allowed in there either!"
"Where are you hiding in there? It'll be worse for you if you make us find it ourselves."

Sharing in some of Go's anger, Utsuho and Rin join him at the front. While he tries to keep her occupied with the power of grappling, they go for the brute force option: Blasting! It's a little tricky to aim at the belt specifically at that range and with that little wiggle room, though, leaving Rin to throw fireballs around the Riders and converging them on Gold Drive with precision timing while Utsuho just swings her control rod around to try and smash it when there's an opening.

Satori, meanwhile, takes on the role of talking big shit, but surely she won't eat any as she starts doing her mind-probing thing, undeterred by the generally messed up stuff she had already seen trying it on the Roidmudes in their battle just a short while ago.
Xion Defeating and resetting 017 and 018 would prevent the American branch of the Roidmude from creating the fiery passion against Roidmude that would define the early actions of the Target-Eliminating Kamen Rider, Mach. It was a kind wish that sacrificed the antecedents of pain out of Shijima Go and put to rest the angriest, most hurt driver on the his road - his old self.

Standing still in shooting pose in her Xsa Armor, the black-and-magenta armored Nobody holds, before her chest works out and in, armor expressing with her breath. Xion, having wielding Gunman's second bullet as her third shot, lowers the barrel of the Single Action Army revolver in her right armored gauntlet, and with her left pulls out the Kaixaphone from her armor-moulded belt latch. With a click of release, and the dark of her armor evaporating, her transformation fades. Magenta wireframes peel like flowerpetals and flaking metal, and in the slight breeze at street level, it all wafts away.

"Okay. Let's find Mach and get out of--" Xion begins, when Shijimma Go is thrown on-cue right through the facility window while screaming. Following is the graceful landing of KAMEN RIDER GOLD DRIVE, which leaves Xion flatfooted as her blue eyes see past the armor and the horror of the hearts beneath.

Choked during Mach's screaming retransformation, Xion aims her pistol again, thumbing the hammer back and closing one eye, but Mach is immediately on top of Gold Drive, and spoils shooting without risking the already critically damaged rider.

"Chase! Chase, help him!" Xion pleads, dismissing her summoned pistol as it drops out of her hand and into inventory-motes. "Professor Harley is still inside--" And so is the Time Mazin.

Heading for Harley's facility, where the doctor had just been pleaded with, Xion races to ensure that the good futures where Hendrickson helped build remained viable in a new future. She'll just have to trust the others - and Mach - to hold out.
Ishirou Ishirou stands up from his position...

Phew, thank goodness that was over.  They can just head back to the past now, right?  Wait... was the Time Mazine in that exact location when they last parked it..?

Before he has time to give this much thought, Go is through a window, and he turns quickly only to immediately be shocked into a pause.  "Drive..?  No... why is he gold?" Ishirou isn't sure /why/ but something feels off.  Drive wouldn't do that to Go, he's sure of it...

No time to think, Ishirou, you have to help Go!  Immediately, he shoots several rockets into the ground around Go, which causes the ground to change it's composition just enough to release a smoke screen for Go to use to get away and transform.

This is combined with Ishirou starting to produce more OPTIONs and spreading them out across the various people here.  Shared his arsenal, his limitless ammo and energy reserves, and his sensor equipment.  The last one won't be apparent as to why he shared it /yet/ but right now he's attempting to bolster everyone's reserves after being drained by the previous fight.

"Kiriko..?  Your..." Ishirou looks horrified at Gold Drive.  What... what the hell..?
Hibiki Tachibana     017 and 018 were stopped before history got to play out the exact same. Hibiki is no expert on time travel, but if their first use of the Time Mazine is anything to go by, that should mean the job is done. With the change successfully made, they should be able to get a move on again after Go has made his plea to Professor Harley inside, right?

So why, as she begins descending down to land from the sky--is Go's sister walking from that direction now? And why is she wearing--

    Oh. Oh no.

In the wake of the previous battle's end, Hibiki finds herself freezing up in a growing sense of concern and horror - because if that's the direction she came from, whatever is going on now proably wouldn't have happened without the...Time Mazine. That they...used. To travel here.

She abruptly snaps back into movement so quickly it almost gives her whiplash, as GOLD DRIVE chucks Go right through the window and steps out after him. "A golden...Drive!? Go--!"

Before she knows it, she's forcing her legs to push one past the other in a building sprint of her own. Her mind is racing a mile a minute, but every instinct she has is telling her that she can't let him just throw himself angrily at Banno without doing anything.

Especially not when she'd love to do exactly that herself. She's already whirling around to the opposite side of the gold-suited Kamen Rider, springing off the asphault to unleash a heavy spinning kick towards the back of the head. "What the hell--" There's too many things to say or ask.

"--what the hell are you trying to do here!? Leave her--leave her and Go ALONE!"
Chase      "000?"

Right. That's his number. Between remembering that and the thing the two 'brothers' had said about him, something in his brain clicks. Or it would click, if he could actually recall it. There's nothing there to recall however, causing a ringing pain to spread out throughout his head as he cups it in pain.

The pain is temporary however, and there's a lot more pressing matters than his chronic headaches. Banno has Kiriko? Or Kiriko is Banno/ It definitely has to be the former, as Mashin Chaser refuses to accept the latter.

While Go transforms, he decides to take the opportunity to do so as well, finally whipping out his own Mach Driver as he firmly pushes against his waist, causing the device to secure itself against him with a pair of metal belt straps.

"How did you come back? You should be dead."

As he asks this, he calmly slides a bike into his Driver, letting it play its jingle for just a bit before slamming it back shut with a clenched fist.

     Signal Bike//Viral Core!
     Reaper Chaser!

The mishmash of car parts on Mashin Chaser's suit break and fly off as he transforms, purple light appearing around him and hardening into sleeker plating, with only a few vestigial pieces of his previous armor remaining.

Without skipping a beat, the Reaper moves in to confront Golden Drive, pushing Mach and everyone else out of the way if he has to as he desperately tries to grab hold of their Driver in an attempts to pry it off with brute force.

Kiriko is not a Kamen Rider. She should never be a Kamen Rider. He needs to get rid of that belt, and now.
Hamada Haru "Five-Five-Five, eh?" Kamen Rider Gold Drive ponders aloud. There is a moment in which Go begins to press into the grapple he's attempting-- and a blisteringly fast reversal in which he pushes Go off, grabs one arm, and twists it behind his back, stepping behind him. "How fitting is it, Go, that you should derive power from a species that has evolved itself into a dead end. And don't worry about Kiriko. The only person endangering her right now, is you."

He releases Go from the reversed grapple and shoves him forward, not roughly enough to do actual damage, as if to say that he doesn't even really need to. "... Well. Not quite. Even with these modifications, the Mach system doesn't have the specs to compete with Gold Drive."

The downside of being as saturation-fire focused as Utsuho and her cohorts are, is that attacking something as small as a belt on an enemy that is this fast is simply not feasible. Gold Drive steps into the attacks deliberately, allowing them to saturate everywhere BUT the belt, the occasional burst of sparks indicating some amount of damage being done. Banno laughs, "Look, now, how incautious your friends are! If you're not careful, they'll end this with a tragedy themselves."

His mind cannot be penetrated. Kiriko is relatively conscious, though. To say that she's unhappy is an understatement.

A crackle of energy dances off of Gold Drive as he extends a hand, and Go's Zenrin Shooter materializes in it. He swings it in a broad arc at Go, wheel spinning as he does so.

    INSIDE...

Professor Harley is ALREADY working on something. He has his cell phone laid out next to an in-progress Mach Driver, contacts list pulled up. He glances at Xion as she enters. "Would you happen to have the ability to conduct rapid transit of multiple individuals? Teleportation isn't QUITE a part of my designs, YET." Giving a hearty laugh, he adds, "Giving it some stamina was a bit more of a priority, it's already fast enough! Not fast enough for the trick I need pulled off, though."

There is a contact highlighted on the phone. KAZUYA OKI.

    OUTSIDE...

"Oh? Giving your friends a boost? Well, then--" Gold Drive turns the ignition on his belt, another crackling wave of golden energy traveling out from his body. About half of Ishirou's OPTIONS re-orient to obviously support Gold Drive. "Ahh-- but you're confused. My daughter isn't quite asleep, but she can't respond to you. 'I' am this belt. Digital immortality is a wonderful thing."

Gold Drive turns to face Hibiki, head cocked to one side. He watches her spring off-- and moves into a kick of his own, crossing over hers to connect simultaneously. "Ho...? I'm just teaching my son a lesson. But there doesn't need to be a 'what' or 'why'. They, too, are my creations. I can do with them what I please. And even if you succeeded in removing me from Kiriko -- you won't -- you should know that any one of those--"

Straightening back up, Gold Drive gestures down the street at the stuck roidmude, "-- would be an acceptable substitute."

//You should be dead.//

"You could say the same of Krim Steinbelt," Gold Drive replies, shrugging theatrically. "But of the two of us, I am far less short-sighted. My transformation was prepared in advance. But 000--"

He allows Kamen Rider Chaser to grab hold of his belt. It doesn't budge. The amount of energy necessary to remove a Steinbelt-type driver is VERY precise, and he knows that Chaser doesn't have it in him. Extending his free hand -- the other is holding the Zenrin Shooter -- another pulse of gold light goes out, and the Break Gunner materializes in his hand.

Gold Drive punches Chase in the face with his own weapon and fires it thrice, forcing him away and following up with the Zenrin Shooter's wheel straight to his chin. "You and I both know you can't do anything here. If I were to de-transform right now you would just stand there. All of you would. It's all you COULD do."
Hamada Haru Raising both hands in another overly theatrical gesture, Gold Drive allows the Break Gunner and Zenrin Shooter to slip steadily out of his fingers, clattering to the pavement. "And the best part is that you set this up for me."
Hamada Haru "Oh," Kamen Rider Gold Drive taps the side of his head, "you won't be going back to 'fix' what I did. I wouldn't have come back here if there was the slightest chance you could. That Time Mazine has a one-way destination now, and once it goes, it won't ever go again. One of us is taking the long way home, and no matter which it is, you lose."

He doesn't comment on the plan of putting him in a digital world. Whether that's a good sign or a bad one is unclear.
Ishirou Ishirou's eyes widen at the takeover of his options.  More so when he starts bragging about his power.  He can jump to other Roidmudes... he's good at data manipulation..

And apparently hacking transmissions.

"Bitch, stop stealing my thing!" Ishirou says, full-on insolent twink engaged!!!

First step... a nearby computer isolated from the internet at large.  That would need to happen.  Short of frying his own systems...

Second... he slaps his hand on the ground.  What seems to happen are spikes aiming to try and take out his own options.  He knows how they work, and how best to attack them, so coming in for their blind spots.  However, the second is to use the same trick on the Roidmudes before... and start singing Gold's feet into the ground the moment someone engages him.

This also forces the other Roidmudes out.  "Run!  Get as far away as you can, that man is going to do more than blow you up," Ishirou shouts at them.  However, the remaining OPTIONs still give him data, trying to learn as /much/ as he can about that belt.

Bando, you might be a digital life form, but I am a master of information, Ishirou thinks.  An android isn't too far removed from a digital life form.  With the Time Mazine having a one-way direction... no... he thinks, looking at Go's back.  He takes a breath...

Alright.  Then he might have to try a very risky play.
Xion Sick with having to turn her back on Gold Drive and the struggle of her friends to make sure that time didn't get irreparably damaged, Xion can only hear the distant struggles and proclamations of Gold Drive through the window. Stepping inside, in grey and red, she beholds the Santa-Claus like jolly old gentleman stooped over a Mach Driver.

"You really are a sharp one, Harley Hendrickson." Xion admits, with a soft smirk of a smile. Knowing, and out of time, the light curl is all she really can express under pressure. She had known this man before - well, later in life - but the charming soul of the smiling biker.

"I can. I came to get you out of here, Professor, but it seems like that's not the plan any more. ... Super-1, huh?" Xion asks, leaning over to look at the name on the phone. "Only one of those. I'll bring him here. And -- Professor?" The noirette's gentle head-cant and soulful eyes are as needful as every distant youth that had pleaded with a kindly professor for power or salvation before.

"I'm sorry for the trouble. It'll get worse before it gets better... I'm sure you know." Xion asides, turning away and sighing while drawing her keyblade with a metallic 'shwink!' out of thin air. The weight of the weapon settles gentle in her hand, and she sweeps it once horizontally through the air. Tip aglow, she plunges the star-toothed blade into the center of the slice across the air, and turns the handle until it clicks, and from the slice a whole round portal peels open, opening not to an inky-dark, but a star-dappled black.
Hellwarming Trio Even without being worn down from the recent battle, there's a pretty clear gulf in power between the yokai and Gold Drive. There's not nearly enough sparks coming out to indicate that they're going to be winning a battle of attrition anytime soon, and there's still the risk to Kiriko to consider that keeps Utsuho and Rin from putting their all into attacking. Satori's inability to pull anything useful from Banno's mind isn't helping, either, and Kiriko's mind...

Satori doesn't need mind-reading powers to know that she's not pleased with this entire situation.

The golden blast sends the yokai flying back and tumbling along the ground, groaning and wheezing while trying to come up with some kind of plan C now that brute force and trying to get into Banno's head didn't work. The worst part is-

'You and I both know you can't do anything here. If I were to de-transform right now you would just stand there. All of you would. It's all you COULD do.'

He's completely right there. As hopeless as it seems, though, a plan starts coming together, even if Utsuho and Rin aren't aware of the more specific details about it. Satori picks up on some of it, though, and she regroups with her pets before calling up another formation of magical orbs.

"Don't worry about the details. Just keep shooting, like you're handling someone back home."
"Eh? But what about... Ohhh, okay, then!"

Trusting in Satori's judgment, the trio start floating upwards as more of those bright projectiles start to blanket the airspace above the battle, swirling around in huge circular patterns centering on Gold Drive. If these were just coming from one of them, the shots would be simple enough to avoid. When they're being fired by three different people with three different preferences for timing and patterns, though?

It practically turns into a visual soup of flying projectiles coming from so many angles at once. None of them are particularly powerful thanks to their intended purpose in not being used for outright destruction, but they're certainly hard to (visually) ignore.
Go Shijima      Xion can feel a familiar gunk, building up in the engine of Go's heart, as his grapple attempt is reversed. Anger mixes with fear, mixes with self-hatred, mixes with guilt. How is he so much stronger than me? Is he right? Have I really spent this long just to fall this flat? Shoved forward, Mach still recoils as if he'd been physically struck, gasping when Banno materializes the Zenrin Shooter and steals Ishirou's OPTIONS.

Look, now, how incautious your friends are!

"STOP!" he shouts, holding out a hand to Satori, Rin, Utsuho, as his own weapon strikes him and lifts him bodily off the ground, the force of the blow spinning him in the air. He lands roughly on the sidewalk and rolls into the street, remaining on his hands and knees. Did I come around to wanting to protect the Roidmude, just to fail? Maybe Chase was right. This belt doesn't mean anything, but destruction and killing.

But there doesn't need to be a 'what' or 'why'. They, too, are my creations. I can do with them what I please. And even if you succeeded in removing me from Kiriko -- you won't -- you should know that any one of those would be an acceptable substitute.

The gunk clears out of his heart, the engine revs. "NO!" Shouts Mach, getting back to his feet with a whirling kip-up, his leg hooking around to swing at Banno and give him some space. "I'm not yours to tinker with, and NEITHER ARE THEY!"

SIGNAL BIKE//SHIFT CAR - Dead Heat!

The bike themed rider's motif shifts to adopt a red breastplate, a helmet resembling the grille of a muscle car, and the wheel on his right shoulder changes to display a digital accelerometer. He mashes the button on the Mach Driver and sends a burst of flame from the exhaust, redlining the accelerometer as an explosive outpouring of energy surges forth from him. But--rather than engage Banno, he races past him.

This form isn't as fast as 555, but it is stronger in brute force--which is exactly what he uses to pry the stuck Roidmudes from the pavement. "Give me your hand--RUN! RUN AND TELL HEART!"
Hibiki Tachibana But there doesn't need to be a 'what' or 'why'. They, too, are my creations. I can do with them what I please.

"Gh...!?" Kick crosses kick, but between the two of them, it definitely feels like she's the one getting the far worse end of the deal. Gold Drive is soaking up hits without a care--and his comment on them potentially hurting Kiriko if they're not careful isn't a lie. She goes flying backwards with a new stinging pain for her trouble, landing back down with a strained sound coming from deep in her throat.

It matches the look on her face. "Don't talk about your own children like they're /things/! Daughter, son--don't you dare throw words like that around when you're the furthest thing from a father to anybody, Tenjuro Banno...!" There's more emotion in that than simply just being angry on Kiriko and Go's behalf.

-- would be an acceptable substitute.

Her eyes shift to the assorted roidmude still laid out, and her teeth grit on frustration. Any of them would do...? ...She already knew he'd show them the same amount of care that he does his own family, but hearing him say it out loud is still awful. But it also means that even if they do somehow beat him...

Damnit. If she feels like this, Go and Chase...

There's not even an arguement against what he says after. She /would/ just have to stand here. That fact makes her hands tighten up enough to hurt, and there's little outlet for them when any hit thrown at the implacable Gold Drive doesn't seem to make him budge at all. Still, if Ishirou and Xion have plans to do something about this unwinnable situation...

They just need the chance to pull them off.

And throwing herself at people and being hard to shake off are some of Hibiki Tachibana's specialties. So while the yokai trio go to distract with attack patterns, the magical girl dives right back in, fully intending to not let Banno stop Go either if she can do anything about it.

"Even if it's our fault--that just means it's our job to fix the mistake!" She definitely won't let Chase shoulder Banno's pointed verbal attack alone - and she retaliates physically by stepping in and unleashing a flurry of blurry-fast strikes towards Gold Drive's torso.
Chase      Chase recoils back from the punch, his grip loosening on Gold Drive's driver as he takes a few steps back only to be shot at three times. His armor holds just fine, even as it sparks from the bullets of his own gun, but the fact he could take away his weapon so easily is a pretty good decentivize from trying to use it against him.

"Is your own family just as disposable as the Roidmudes?"

The way Banno talks about how he's using Kiriko... He now knows why Heart killed this man.

With the plan shifting to stalling for time rather than trying to actually battle, The Grim Reaper presses the button on his Mach Driver, time grinding to a complete halt as he quickly walks behind Gold Drive, looping his arms underneath the enemy Rider's armpits as time suddenly resumes. "Let go of Kiriko."

Rather than follow up with any sort of attack, Chase just locks his body rigidly in place as he does his best to hold Gold Drive in place.
Hamada Haru "There is nothing in this world that is not mine," Kamen Rider Gold Drive answers Ishirou, smugly. He doesn't really bother defending the stolen OPTIONS, which are taken out as easily as any of Ishirou's could be taken out. Much like the Break Gunner and Zenrin Shooter, he doesn't seem all that interested in the equipment that he steals. The fact that he CAN assert control over them is the point.

The data being fed back about the belt starts turning into mostly-junk, though. Not entirely, but enough that actual effort has to be expended to put together useful data. This is, to say the least, kind of annoying. The amount of energy actually required to forcibly remove it is the thing most occluded and simply isn't available right now.

The amount of memory on the thing shouldn't accommodate an actual full intelligence, though. Somebody has developed some KILLER compression technology here.

Professor Harley shakes a screwdriver vaguely in the air in response to Xion, "Ha! You don't make it long creating these things if you're not a sharp one. Some lunatic will invade your laboratory and kill you in the dead of night. Haven't dealt with time travel before, but home invaders?! Plenty!"

Though he doesn't say it, it's obvious that he Gets the progression of events that have to transpire. Or at the very least, will transpire. 'Have' might be a bit much.

When Xion opens her portal, Hendrickson sends a text on his phone.

Out in the field, Kamen Rider Gold Drive gazes up at Satori, Utsuho, and Rin. "And just what... do you hope to accomplish with an endless rain of 'play'?" It's damage, but it IS ping damage. He doesn't bother getting out of the way of it, for the most part.

The ground that he was sinking into parts violently as he finally moves, liquefied pavement tearing apart as he moves to pick the Zenrin Shooter back up. He fires back casually at the airborne trio, and then turns towards Go in time to get kicked-- it's a kick that's meant to buy ground though, and only sends Gold Drive staggering back.

"Oh? And just what... revived your guttering spirit? For that matter, what makes you think that I DIDN'T tinker with you? You could be a ticking time bomb, yourself..." Banno was too eager to spring his 'trap' to actually do this, but it's PLAUSIBLE, which is why he says this. He doesn't really expect Go to push on past him, though.

Go drags one of the roidmude out of the street, and THAT guy beats it the hell out of here.

One of the more free roidmude to begin with, a bat-type that lingered on the street, pulls himself free-- just in time for a bolt of blue energy to lance out from Gold Drive's driver and push his core free from his body. He freezes in place, his number hovering ominously in the air.

"Oh, go on. Run away, and tell Heart. I'll let you live, so that they understand your -- and their -- predicament."
Hamada Haru The core shudders in the air and flees with a "WAAAH!", while Gold Drive gestures dismissively at Hibiki. "You live in a world where people are required to justify their existence with drudgery. Have you burned those institutions to the ground? Changed the world more than middlingly? Or are you just another plaything of the injust world you occupy? I would say we're no different, but I've escaped the drudgery. The likes of you uphold it while pretending that you are making things better."

Simultaneous with Hibiki's attack, there is a HONKING noise as several tracks appear in the air and smash into Gold Drive's back, acting as a backing to keep him in hibiki's attack. Sparks fly in every direction and Gold Drive sags in the aftermath-- but does not fall. He reaches to the side, quick as a flash, and snags a shift car out of the air, forcing it into his brace, pumping it once.

TIRE KOUKAN! rings the announcement, as a bright orange tire replaces the band across Gold Drive's middle-- his upper half separates from his lower half at an angle, spinning about in a wide circle as one portal captures the energy blasts from the trio above and the other redirects them into the surroundings-- into Hibiki in particular, but in general. There's a lot of bullets being flung about, after all.

Gold Drive puts his body back to a natural state only once the three have decided that maybe not enabling shooting all of their friends is a good idea, and stop.

"Who is disposable, and who is not? Certainly, my body is less disposable than most. But less disposable than a roidmude...? In the short term only. This body will eventually succumb to time. On the whole, even the lowliest roidmude is superior."

"Well, it's been a pleasant afternoon, but it's time to move on. Enjoy your trip home," Kamen Rider Gold Drive reaches down and cranks the ignition on his belt. HISSATSU! FULL THROTTLE!

Whatever plan you're going to execute, it probably needs to be now.

Which is convenient because this is the exact moment that Chase grabs him.
Ishirou 'Sataroi, now!'

Ishirou is already thinking through his plan, making last-minute adjustments to it.  He couldn't free the Roidmudes, but Go is on that before he could get to it.  He couldn't even slow down Gold, so much energy is in trying to analyze the belt.  He can't pop Go's sister free... but that wasn't the goal.

However, it was important to make him think that /was/ the goal.  Chase goes for the grab, Sataroi, Rin, and Utsuho will apply more pressure, Biki will also aid in that.  Xion has her own idea, and he knows whatever she does will help win where it seems hopeless...

Go...

Go is hurting right now.  "Go.  Please.  Whatever happens next, you can't go back to how things were.  Alright?  Whatever happened, they'll help you through it.  They'll save everything... believe in what you set out to do today..."

Ishirou charges.

He only needs to Go to think of something.  He only needs him to consider everything, to be so self-absorbed that he would know everything.

'POD, command.  If anything happens to me, you are to switch to taking orders from Go only.'

'Acknowledged.'

Ishirou dives, the RESCUE going full throttle.  He knows he'll shoot, he'll try to stop him.  That's fine... The moment the first strike hits the OPTION, he ejects with POD, and he grabs hold of POD's tiny hands to spin with it.  He goes soaring, aiming to overshoot just in case he's shot again.  Landing, he hits the ground in a roll and jumps back.

He puts everything into his next attempt.  He can't shut down the belt, he can't take over the belt...

So instead, he'll force the belt into a confrontation with him in the data world.  A place where Banno might be a resident... but he is the master.  Data manipulation is the strongest thing Ishirou knows, beyond acquiring and understanding it.  He can manipulate it on a level that many others built for his specs could not follow.

If he can't beat Gold Drive... then he can bolt him to the ground for as long as it takes them to get out of here.  For as long as it takes for them to come back.  Ishirou will lock Gold Drive here... he can prevent him from doing more harm.  He /can/ make this place better... and help make it so Go can save the Roidmudes.

Go helped him out of his darkest places, so... he will do the same.
Hamada Haru //... but he is the master.//

    But you're not.

Not being the master is not the same as having no power, but confronting Banno in a digital landscape, as it happens, is worse, not better, than physically confronting him. The fullness of Tenjuro Banno's madness is concentrated here, and it is a madness in which the world is one that he is in control of.

And he figured that out. He knows how to implement it. Nobody else understands what he's doing well enough to even THINK to try to prevent it, because it is so obscenely off the beaten track of what he appears to be doing that there is no reason to think that it is even on the table.

Until now.

//If he can't beat Gold Drive... then he can bolt him to the ground for as long as it takes them to get out of here.//

Six seconds. That's how much time Ishirou proves to be able to provide. He knows it the instant he starts trying. That's the window of opportunity. That's when people have to act and make it happen. It might be more factoring in Chase's physical interference, but with Ishirou alone, it is six seconds.

Within the digital landscape, Ishirou confronts a... construct. It is not Banno, though his fingerprints are all over it. It is a sphere, its surface covered in spiraling shapes. All-powerful software to go with the all-powerful hardware that has yet to come into physical being but, inevitably, will. Several antennae rise from its surface here and there.

Here, the Sigma Circular is omnipotent. It is a credit to Ishirou that he can provide even six seconds of stun time.

At that exact moment, up above, a silver-armored figure emerges from a swirling black portal. Kamen Rider Super-1 nods to Hendrickson and Xion-- Hendrickson hurriedly gestures towards a nearby window. A crash of breaking glass can be heard as the elder Rider bursts out onto the street, a blue glow surrounding his arms from the elbow down. Tasseled gauntlets are replaced by yellow gauntlets, mechanical, with a visible projector and a blue lens atop the hand. As he rolls to a kneel in the street, Super-1 raises both arms and fires a stream of electricity into Banno's driver.

6 seconds become 12 seconds.
Ishirou In an instant, Ishirou sees just what they're up against.

He's horrified, by the idea... no the very concept of Sigma Circular chills him to his bones.  It's almost a dark mirror...

He doesn't have time to think about anything else.  He has a little time.  Six seconds.  There isn't anything else he can do before this overwhelms him.  Damn it, Banno, you absolute psychopath..!

This of course, also makes him realize that there is a reason Banno hasn't brought this creature out yet.  It's missing hardware.  It's missing something that it can only do in data space right now.  They need more time, more analysis.

Go says he will stay.  At first, he fights him, but then he realizes he's right.  He closes his eyes and sighs.  "Go... then you're going to need help," he says and smiles.  "POD, transfer all functions to Go.  Whatever happens, you must survive to meet us in the future, alright?  Go... if you're not there I won't ever forgive you for lying to me at the docks with Hibiki, alright?  We... we all will make it there, okay?"

The seconds count down...
Go Shijima Oh? And just what... revived your guttering spirit? For that matter, what makes you think that I DIDN'T tinker with you? You could be a ticking time bomb, yourself...

Mach's fist clenches so hard that the leather of his gloves creaks.

Go. Please. Whatever happens next, you can't go back to how things were.

"Yeah, I know. That's why..." His fist unclenches. "I'm staying behind, to keep an eye on things in this time. A few years now is worth a better future later." There's no point in staying here. Ishirou can hold Gold Drive for a time. Not a long one, even with Super-1. He has a phone. He can say his goodbyes somewhere his father can't see.

Twelve seconds is a lot of time for a high-speed Rider to get some distance. Even in the torque-oriented Dead Heat. Even without his motorcycle. The accelerometer on his chest redlines, as the red and white Rider takes off, the Mach Driver revving. Windows rattle as he runs alongside the buildings in town, keeping clear of streets and sidewalks.

A red-white blur disturbs newspapers, cans, and other city detritus, sets pedestrians to plugging their ears, has trees shaking in their planters. The tire on his chest explodes, blown out from pushing the suit this hard for this long. Without even looking, he dials in PIT--the FiveS shift bike materializes a suite of hardlight power tools that swap out the blowout for a new one, right when his momentum halts and it looks like he's going to fall.

Stopped on the roof of a donut shop a ways away, Mach texts Xion, using the suit's speed to let his fingers race across the keypad with the time he has before everyone leaves.

I'm going to stay and look out for them. I know the Chase of this time will. But the me of this time is still... you know. Even if he didn't lose someone he cared about. I see POD coming this way. Maybe with that kind of assistance, I can even find a way to get Kiriko back. It won't seem that long for you--but I'll miss you, even so. And I'll be thinking about you. I hope the new Go is someone we can both be proud of.
Xion Xion coughs guiltily and grins sheepishly as she's called a home invader. "Well, Professor, I've entered a few labs before, but I've always had a key." The Nobody invokes her star-toothed blade, but as she speaks about it it is already fading from her hand. The starry portal that's opened still, however, produces a swift aid!

Kamen Rider Super-1 crashes through a second window, and Xion remains behind for just a moment after the Rider leaps into the fray. "I'm going a different direction, Professor, but I'd appreciate you looking after everyone." The Nobody asks, and escapes the lab by the entrance, disappeared before she steps foot in the hallway. Skipping scenes like turned pages of a book, Xion opens an entirely unrelated door out into an alley overlooking a cheap-to-film-in park plaza where Volt and several Future-Present Roidmude are suppressing Mach in his original minute of rider power. The fight has taken quite a bit longer than that, so while Volt is doing a fuzzy-haired genius eletrician dance on Mach's three-on-one'd heroic historic cheeks, a shape in a quickly-changed (and instinctively signature black cowled coat) sprints towards him.

With an 'Ah-!' 'Ohh-!' 'Guh-!' Xion flying tackles all three dabbing robots into a big rolling pile, and tumbles them down into another ground-portal that opens before her approach. Tired out greatly by so many spot-to-spot portals, a ragged Xion heaves two heavy robotmen and dotty Colonel Sanders, Certified Electrician into the large ball cockpit of the hacked Time Mazin and the quartet leave (Past) Shijima Go alone in an urban park.

"Get comfy!!" Xion hollers at the gang of goons she hard screen transitioned away, jamming her fingers on Chase's Time Mazin controls to boot it back up from Banno's greasy designs. Overhead, as the Roidmude get comfortable (or don't), the overhead portal shifts in locations and orientation, rotating through space and distorting through colors and looks.

OUTSIDE, NEAR GOLD DRIVE:

A floating purple UFO disc translates through the air, searching through the area until it hovers behind Kamen Rider Gold Drive's temporarily stunned and electrocuted form. Super-1's electric barrage casts bright sparks down into the Time Mazin's cockpit as, miraculously, the hood of the escape craft is open and waiting for everyone to pile in.

So.

ARE YOU STAYING IN THE PAST?

ARE YOU LEAVING FOR THE FUTURE?

Make your decision - but Tenjuro Banno must not remain.
Hellwarming Trio "Play, is it? You should check again, Banno. Look at your left." Satori warns, a rather obvious attempt at drawing his attention in yet another direction despite the bullets being not quite as potent as those flames from earlier. Utsuho and Rin don't comment on it, at least, but whether that lends credibility to her lie...

... Probably doesn't matter much! Banno's still eating those shots like nothing, and even firing back at them. The shots going up towards the three are relatively easy for them to avoid by flutteirng sideways, at least, but it delays their next volley by that much longer and provides just that bit more ammo for him to use when he starts snatching their projectiles. Once they realize that Banno's started redirecting their shots, however, the three stop firing, instead forced to weave through their own patterns and realizing that releasing so many shots at once has made it fairly hard from them to avoid all of them.

They hit the ground with pained groans and rolling about several moments later, and it looks like they're all laid out in a daze. Utsuho ends up being the first one back on her feet, but she staggers and has to use her control rod to keep herself upright with the mounting wounds. Seeing that Satori and Rin are still barely able to get up, her temper flares up, and she lets out a frustrated shout while rushing at Gold Drive once again.

"Do you ever stop talking? Gah... Sorry, Miss Kiriko! Just... Tough this one out!" Taking advantage of the opportunity presented by Chase, Ishirou, and the newly arrived Super-1, Utsuho superheats her control rod in her approach. Holding it lengthwise, she rams it against the belt with that intense heat, both to try extending that time of vulnerability as well as trying to damage it outright while biding her time for the real maneuver:

Getting Gold Drive into the obvious thing Xion mentioned. Spotting the Time Mazin from the corner of her eye, Utsuho lets out another guttural shout as her wings and cape flare out behind her, followed by a sudden discharge of flames behind her not unlike a rocket starting to take off. Instead of physical might, she's using that burning energy to try propelling herself and Gold Drive right into that waiting opening. There's only one problem:

Utsuho might not have gotten the memo about not getting caught in it herself.
Hibiki Tachibana Have you burned those institutions to the ground? Changed the world more than middlingly? Or are you just another plaything of the injust world you occupy?
The likes of you uphold it while pretending that you are making things better.

Punch after punch, Banno's words ring in her ears, making each one come harder and heavier than the last as her expression scrunches up. The last one is an overswing that leaves her panting afterwards - just for her getting so caught up to make her fail to realize, until it's too late to react, what he's doing.

And the tire exchange followed by the repurposed blasts strike her point-blank, sparks flying and sending her hurtling off her feet and away from the Kamen Rider. This smack into the street is a whole lot more painful than her last one, and it's not one she gets back up from right away. "Khhhhh--...!"

Not just because of the damage piling onto what the battle with Gunman already did, but because she can't argue that half as well as she wants to. In her momentary struggle to find them, she comes to a similar conclusion that she did some time ago.

Why is she thinking so hard about it?

"My hands just aren't big enough...to hold the whole world at once. But if I can help even just one person--there's nothing 'pretend' about that. And--I sure as hell don't need to take any life lessons from someone so self-absorbed that he'd EVER call his own daughter disposable!"

Go making his decision to stay here, because it's his responsibility, isn't one she wants to have to happen. Of course not. But she's not going to waste the precious little time they have arguing with his personal choice, or make light of it by being moody on the floor. Super-1 is here to give them twice the time they had before, even if it's still not much time at all, also dropping down near them is...

No time to question it. So she picks herself up off and readies her fist - pilebunker gauntlet shifts, expands, and triples in size until rocket thrusters are extending past her elbow, and the mechanisms have become a high-torque flywheel immediately kicking up into a force-generating, whirring spin. Electricity crackles off of it, a knuckleguard slides over her fist - and at the same time as Utsuho's superheated control rod smashes into Gold Drive, she roars out and smashes her own fist right into his chest.

Which is when the boosters all ignite, both on her fist and on her Symphogear's skirt, doubling up on the thrust that Utsuho is creating to very quickly and very forcefully do her part to help send the whole bunch of them hurtling straight into the waiting opening.

As much as she hates having to leave Go by himself--this isnt her past. And she's sure she wouldn't be able to handle the wait to reach the future again.
Chase      "You talk too much for someone who is saying the same thing over and over."

Chase just tightens his grip on Gold Drive, clearly not intent on moving. The past or future, it doesn't really matter to him, so long as he can stop Banno from hurting the Roidmudes, he'll be wherever he needs to be. There is also another matter, however.

"I will stay behind to watch Go. Do not worry about me."

Even though the man has worked hard on clearing his name, Chase still does not trust him. At the very least, not fully yet. Leaving a Kamen Rider like him unintended in the past doesn't really sit right with him.
Hamada Haru After a few moments, the Sigma Circular de-rezzes Ishirou from digital space. It's about three seconds in, not quite at the lock-out limit for what Banno is experiencing. Externally, the fact that Banno is 'locked up' is physically obvious. He's simply unresponsive for that period of time, which has been extended by lightning weaponry.

There is a shimmer at Super-1's arms as his gauntlets are replaced with a red set instead. He stands up properly and draws a fist back, preparing for a charge...

"Oh, of course I wasn't talking about you," Professor Harley waves at hand dismissively at Xion. "If I was, you'd have shot me by now. Or something similar. They usually aren't as direct as shooting. Usually." He turns back to his work as she departs, in spite of the chaos below.

VOLT... just sort of saunters out towards Xion. "Eh? Is it over? We heard a lot of noise, assumed it would be best if we didn't come out just yet. Present-day Go is locked up." In a bathroom stall, as it happens. Volt isn't even in his advanced form mode right now. But the trio are quickly packed up and shipped back to the Time Mazine, which is fine by them because it tells them that some shit's gone down.

Xion finds that the Time Mazine has precisely what it takes to get the group back to when they came from. Whatever was done to it isn't particularly fixable right now-- there's probably been some hardware tampering, even if it's the rough equivalent of a banana in a tail pipe.

Super-1 picks up on the ongoing plan and begins his charge.

The locked up Banno begins moving again as the time limit they have for relocating him approaches. He looks down towards Utsuho as she tries -- and fails -- to damage the belt.

It's around this point that Chase if forced to release him, because several people are about to drag him off into the Time Mazine. He snorts in response to Chase's remark, "That is all you ever do yourself, you insufferable defect!" As Utsuho begins to take off with Banno, Super-1 delivers a mighty punch to the back of him that propels them both faster into the portal.

"Damned... spirits!" Banno complains, beginning to inch his hand towards the ignition again. He's not making good progress right now for many, many reasons. This is immediately followed up by Hibiki joining the thrust-punch action, as much to not get stuck in this time as to do damage
Hamada Haru Dimension Cab wiggles free of Banno's brace with a series of honks, smashing into the hand creeping towards his ignition switch and tumbling back earthwards. He ends up landing on a fire escape across from Go (future), who he honks at a few times.

It's an opportunity to leave, if he wants to take it-- but he's got practically no time to act on it.

The BANNO BALL crashes into the TIME MAZINE, and there is a split second in which Dimension Cab COULD deliver Go and/or Chase to it...

And then it is gone.

The group arrives back in the middle of a quarry, where each body crammed into the Time Mazine is rapidly ejected... and somebody is waiting!

Banno is dumped directly from the Time Mazine into the waiting portal of Dimension Cab. You're not sure exactly where he ends up but you hear a distant SPLASH, so you know it's deeply inconvenient.
Ishirou Ishirou goes with the group to the Time Mazine.  Of course, because he's literally so focused on trying to keep Multiverse's Worst Dad of the year (runner-up) from breaking free before they are sent back to the correct time.

However, he's kicked out earlier than expected.  All of the data he can gather in that small timeframe is sent to POD, who stays with Go.

In the future again, he's thrown out and hits the ground rolling, falling to his rear in exhaustion.  God that was... so awful.  Though the sound of hearing Banno hit water makes him smile.  It's very petty but... well it just feels so right.

"Remind me to never time travel again..."
Hellwarming Trio "Keep pushing, Hibiki! Chase! Old dude!" Utsuho shouts in encouragement as that last push takes Banno into the Time Mazine, only letting up when she realizes that she's being ejected from the Time Mazine, and instead of pushing on Banno, she's just kind of flying outwards on a crash course for the ground. Utsuho only gets to yelp for a moment before she bounces off said ground, then skids several yards away  and falls in a heap on her face.

"Pfuh.. Guh." She gags and spits out some quarry dirt, then picks herself up while taking a look around to figure out what the next step of the plan is. "Hah! Shows that guy right, but... Uh. Where'd he go, anyway?" Beat. "She. Miss Kiriko's still out there, too, right? We've still gotta get her out of there! Come on, mas... Ter? Orin?"

EARLIER
"Ow... Geh. That jerk, callin' it play. It still hurts!" Rin complains as she does a dramatic kip up to get back on her feet, staying in a squat for a few moments while looking over at where the Time Mazin was.
"We probably didn't need to hold back, if the transformation was that powerful. We'll have to keep that in mind for our next encounter." Satori groans as she floats off the ground and touches back down with a brief wobble, bracing herself on Rin's head before also looking at the same spot.

It'll take a moment for them to realize that the plan worked a little too well. At least Go and/or Chase won't be lonely.
Hibiki Tachibana     Ah, yes. The quarry. At least this time, it'll leave a bittersweet memory and not a bad one.

Hibiki gets ejected from the Time Mazine, bounces off some assorted rocks once, then comes to rest on her back staring up at the sky. "Ugh..."

There's one blink. "Banno...!" And she gets up in a rapid panic to face Gold Drive--just to watch him get unceremoniously carted off courtesy of Dimension Cab depositing him somewhere she's very glad she's not.

Before the exhaustion of the two fights in a row catches up with her the same time relief does, and she collapses down into a heap again. "..." Chase, Go...actually, they're not the only ones still in the past, now that Utsuho brings it up. And Kiriko is still being used...

"...How long is it going to be before Banno makes another move? Or...until we see them again?" This, she only realizes after saying it out loud, is probably a silly thing to ask when time travel is the focus of this plotline.
