Ritsuka Fujimaru THE TIME: 2:30PM
"... So you'll have plenty of time to enjoy yourselves first!"
"Exactly. The anomaly isn't slated to show up until later in the afternoon, anyway."
"Is it really alright? I mean, won't we stand out?"
"Don't worry about it. We'll blend right in!"
"Right! Take plenty of pictures while you're there."
"And pick up some souvenirs, could you?"

---

"... is still suffering from a headache?"
"Still, yes. Those accursed Rangers have been lucking out far too often lately. But I'm sure when she wakes up, the next plan will truly get the better of them! And then Mistress-"
"I'm already awake! /And/ I've already got something prepared for them even if they show up. Take a look down there!"
"M-Mistress Bandora? That doesn't look like..."

---

"... right over here, pretty lady! We've created life, moving before your very eyes!"
"Yeah! They'll get big and bad one day, just you watch!"
"... You called me over from my seat for this trash?"

THE TIME: 2:50PM
THE PLACE: ANGEL GROVE HIGH SCHOOL, GYMNASIUM

Angel Grove High is known for many things: Its expansive campus that dwarfs that of most colleges, a frankly ludicrous budget for all of its varied science classrooms and curriculum, and a food hall that might as well be as large as a smaller school's gymnasium. Even the youth center and gym on the campus are freakishly large, between the space for a boxing/wrestling ring on one side, a juice bar on another, and plenty more space on the actual stage for musical performances and other such shows that might go on at any time during the week.

Today, the gym is being used for collaboration between Angel Grove High and several of the smaller elementary schools throughout the city. A science fair is being held inside, aimed at fostering scientific studies by allowing older students to help younger students in setting up their projects and making sure things go smoothly. It's also an opportunity to advertise their educational chops to the multiverse at large, even if it is mostly children showing off their science projects (or their parents').

A relatively older man in a hawaiian shirt, probably in his thirties or fourties, is handing out drinks from the juice bar while several 'teenagers' in red, blue, yellow, black, and pink outfits are hard at work getting those tables set up with their younger counterparts and putting together displays for the science fair. There's the usual first-time project stuff, of course, including potato batteries, electricity balls, and even the classic baking soda volcanos that some underpaid employee is going to have to mop up later.

A pair of 'teenage' students in greaser-esque lab coats, one larger and one scrawnier, are also getting their own table set up with bold text claiming to have created monstrous life despite their table being covered in nothing but (covered) petri dishes. A pale white-haired woman leaves their table with an exasperated sigh, and a cartoony mascot with exaggeratedly stumpy proportions wanders around to pose at the completed tables with a comically-large magnifying glass, all while someone holding a bulky camera records their antics.
Ritsuka Fujimaru The first sign that there's any trouble going on is when some of the children start disappearing. At first, it's chalked up to kids just not saying when they're going to the bathroom or running off to grab something to the drink at the juice bar, but there's a bit of a stir when their teenage guardians start to realize that they haven't come back in quite some time. Those with sensitive hearing, including the pink-haired visitor who's whispering to her orange-haired companion, notice a strange voice speaking quietly in the air.

"Go, Doraxplorer! Turn their dream projects into a nightmare!"

The mascot, bearing a large brown head, a purple upper body, and orange legs, takes several wide steps to reach one of the baking soda volcano tables that's still occupied by a teenager and a student. "And take a look at this! Can YOU find the volcano?" The mascot announces, seemingly blind or unaware of the unease settling over the science fair. Holding the magnifying glass up to the volcano, the vacant smile on their rubbery face grows even wider when the camera zooms in on a nearby jar of what should have been baking soda, but instead reveals that the missing, nearly a dozen already, are trapped inside it at a miniscule size.

"That's right! The volcano is right over here, and I think it's gonna blow a-ny second now! Make sure to wear your safety goggles, kids at home!"

The baking soda volcano erupts, but instead of a little blast of foamy bullshit, actual fire and lava starts spewing out of it, punching right through the ceiling and blasting through the air in wild gouts of fiery liquid stone. Chaos soon sweeps through the school, and...

THE TIME: 3:00PM
The distress call has gone out to Elites willing to lend their efforts to rescuing the civilians, finding the missing children, and stopping whatever's causing the sudden eruption and appearance of monsters in the school. A squad of five suited fighters have their hands full fighting gray rubbersuited humanoids with bizarre-looking faces outside of the youth center, all while the strange mascot continues pointing at random objects.

"Can YOU find the BLUE Ranger?" Unlike before, the mascot doesn't have a camera crew. They're just talking loudly to someone who isn't there, but pointing the magnifying glass at the Blue Ranger in question draws some startled yells before he, too, disappears and can only be seen through the magnifying glass alongside all those trapped children inside a jar on a table. It's certainly looking bad for the Rangers at this moment, but help is on the way from both outside and inside the school.

One of the center's doors burst open as the pink-haired girl, now bearing a huge shield and wearing a purple armored leotard, charges right through the crowd of gray rubbersuits gathered arund the doors. She's followed by the orange-haired bowling over another pair and tripping over them in the process, having considerably more trouble pulling herself back up. They, too, join the red, yellow, pink, and black costumed fighters in beating back those in gray, but there's still no sign of the children anywhere outside, and the volcano is still erupting through the roof of the youth center!
Shotaro Hidari CYCLONE JOKER

Before Shotaro can even get to the scene, right after crossing into the portal, he has already transformed, with Philip being passed out somewhere in their office. Now, Kamen Rider W (pronounced Double) is rushing towards the scene where chaos has broken out. The volcano is destroying parts of a very large school, and a strange monster is making people disappear...

A monster who makes things disappear and reappear is a great (but not BEST) match against this Kamen Rider. However, still on his bike which is named 'Hardboilder', rushes through traffic and around buildings to get to the school, while others run in panic.

Moments later, the very /moment/ Doraxplora is about to find or hide something, and the Hardboilder with the Kamen Rider on it will drive right into him. Bike and Kamen Rider skid to a halt as KRW steps off and points right toward the Dora Monster.

"Now, count up your sins," the two-in-one Kamen Rider says, starting to approach the monster before he gets up from being run over.
Captain Hook      The thing about being a pirate is that you usually aren't somewhere to *help* people.

You don't show up to random events to save lives. Sure, you might swash and occasionally buckle, and if it's someone important to you then you might sail through Hell and high water, but you don't show up to help randoms. You show up when there's chaos and confusion and despair for one reason and one reason only:

     Taking advantage of it.

So, as Captain Hook rolls up the Map With The X On It and stows it back into his coat, there's really only one thing on his mind here, and it's what's always on his mind whenever he shows up more or less anywhere: How Can I Profit Off This?

Hook leans against wall, adjusting his hat thoughtfully as he watches the chaos unfold. Volcano exploding. Strange monster. Children being shrunk. Beautiful white-haired lady, present. -Blue Ranger, shrunk.

     Aha.

With that, Hook pushes off the wall, tucks his hat down, and sweeps his flintlock into his hook-hand. The gun spins around the hook as he strolls forward. He has no visible means of firing it.

Then, at just the exact perfect moment, he tugs the hook slightly, and the hook hits the trigger, and the flintlock goes off.

It is aimed for the jar. It is not aimed for the jar to break it. It is, in fact, aimed for the jar to perfectly bounce off the top of it, tilting it forward.

Hook drops a treasure chest onto the ground as he fires. He kicks it forward. The chest pops open to catch the jar, and Hook, without missing a beat, charges forward to scoop the chest back up.

Then he turns around and takes a place against the wall with a broad smile. From his coat he produces the jar.

He clears his throat. "Ahem. Do pardon me," he says over the sound of the volcano, "I am Captain William Hook, and I seem to have something everyone wants."

"The question is, what's the best deal I can get for it?"
Alexis What a curious cascade of disasterous events to befall an otherwise normal science fair. They're just odd enough for the distress call to catch the attention of one person who decides to investigate. Because volcanos don't just erupt out of nowhere like that. Especially not grade school science ones. She's been around enough real volcanoes and the monsters that thrive in them to know!

With all the other color coding a pair of pink pigtails isn't going to look all that unusual but it's still the most distinct way to notice Alexis' arrival.
Other than the five-foot-seven dark blue and cream underbelly colored badger accompanying her, and the smaller yellow bipedal fox accompanying her that is.

One look at the people in colored suits fighting with monsters that almost look like they're made of rubber. Another look at the uncanny valley 'mascot'. And right about then is when the volcano erupts to spray more lava through the hole in the building roof. At which both Fire pokemon turn to look at her. "Yeah, there is something non-sciency going on at this science fair, even I can feel it," she replies to them. "That's where we need to go investigate... but it looks like we might have to fight to get into there."

Which gets a response out of the two Pokemon. Scorch takes a breath, then lets out a snarl as the rising collar of flames ignites around his neck and shoulders. Majorette reachs back to pull the large stick from her tail fluff, twirling it in her forepaw as she exhales a puff of fire to ignite the end, and then poses dramatically while holding it out like it was a wand or something.
Sarracenia      The call goes out, and within a few minutes there's a response! A wooden airship as long as a football field appears from the nearest gate. It looks like some kind of old Spanish galleon, but instead of sails on its masts it has large propellers. It makes a circle around the combat zone, then moves down low enough that the rear of the ship can open. The entire rear panel of the ship lowers down, and once down a swarm of...help?...makes its way to toward the costumed fighters. Help is in question because at first glance they look like monsters. Short plant people with tulip-like heads full of triangular shark teeth, a single large leaf for each arm/hand and roots for legs/feet. They have man-o-war style helmets and carry spears, and once they are close they (in proper mostly ineffectual mook fashion) assist in the battle.

A tall woman wearing a frilly red dress and a small golden crown who is carrying a hammer larger than she is leaps from the airship to the roof. She looks the situation over, then blinks at Captain Hook. "Billhook?" she says, then giggles at her own terrible joke. "Sorry, but that something might have to wait!"

She pulls out a blue flower with cute black eyes and gives it a squeeze, and in a poof of smoke she is in an icy blue dress with cold air visible flowing off of it. "There's a volcano to deal with!" And with that she starts throwing balls of explosive ice, trying to cool and seal off the volcano.

And of course she takes the time to call out, "Alexis! Good to see you!" even amongst all the chaos. She doesn't get to see her possibly only friend in the field very often!
Aidan Proudpick Aidan looks at his big granny tablet. Finally, something besides looking at military maps. SOmething besides throwing himself at the Empire. Staring at huge supply lines, at powerful machines, and barreling against them. The endless treadmill of struggling against them.

There is something more primal about stepping in here. Everyone knows this is a problem. There is no arguing over how to do right and wrong. There's no having to fight Kale. There's no taskmaster asking you what is the right way to deal with anything.

The Aegis 'flies', Aidan huddles behind it. The huge lion faced shield erupts with energy around it, rippling in a constant blast that pushes the Aegis in a single direction. As he arrives over the highschool, the Aegis suddenly retracts into the size of a buckler and Aidan spreads his arms out wide.

Some people can do a three point landing blade pose. Aidan has EVOLVED into the perfect three point landing blade pose, standing up quickly. From his side comes a GUN.

The side of the gym EXPLODES open at the Aegis asserts that it is, in fact, the juggernaut bitch, and Aidan points the gun at Captain Hook.

Say something cool say something cool say something cool

"Me! Kicking your ass!"

Gottem.
Timespace Riders      The distress call is heard. In a clock repair shop on another world, Sougo Tokiwa and his retainer Woz huddle around the radio. "Woz, go get the book," Sougo urges. "Find out where the kids are, then let's head for the gate!"

The Demon King and his retainer, following that bit of research beforehand, step through the Warpgate of Angel Grove. Just a few moments later, the two are teleported to the AGHS' gymnasium, following a string of back-to-back teleports from Woz's impossibly extening vortex scarf. The last in this chain ends with the scarf returning to normal, resting on the shoulders of his apocalyptic greatcoat.

                 RIDER TIME! o/` Ka-meeen Rider! o/` ZI-O. . .

Amazing! Time! Future! KAMEN RIDER WOZ? WOZ?!

Two watch-themed Kamen Riders burst through the doors to the gym. One is the pink-black-and-silver analog-themed Zi-O, his helmet's archetypical Rider antennae formed by the hands of a watch. The other is the silver-and-neon-green Woz, whose cuirass and helmet suggest a smartwatch.

"Beware the magnifying glass," says Woz, as the two arrive, gesturing to the mascot with a sweep of his palm. "It is the means by which those missing were made to disappear."

The Riders split up, intending to flank the mascot on either side as Shotaro approaches from the front, essentially dogpiling them as soon as they get up with an alternating barrage of superpowered punches and kicks.

"Captain," says Zi-O with an impish air of amusement. He knows exactly what he's saying. "I didn't take you for a warden," It's only a tease, but one with an undercurrent meant to prod him into letting the vanished people go or at least taking precautions to keep them from harm's way--though there's certainly no reason he couldn't do that and leverage the jar as if they were still there, anyway.
Hibiki Tachibana     "That's a distress signal for--" Oh. That's...a lot.

Hibiki murmurs underneath her breath, glancing at her phone. The other day was quite a lot to deal with, and there's so much she has to get done and talk about. With Rose, with Tamamo, with...--giving her own proper report on what happened back then.

But at least one form of regularity she could count on to balance everything back out were normal schooldays, peaceful enough you'd forget there was ever anything wrong. A constant she can always rely on, anchoring her to normal life.

The exception to that, of course, is times like this. She frowns, looking up - she's kind of in the middle of classes herself. There's a conspiratory lean-in with the black-haired girl seated next to her.

"It's something you can't ignore, isn't it?"
"...Yeah. I'm sorry, Miku. I know you have to be tired of covering for me."
"Mmn." That's a sound of disagreement. "Just come back safe, alright?"

Because she really hasn't, more than once lately. The 'I need to go see the nurse' excuse is only going to work so many times, though.

RIGHT NOW: Hibiki Tachibana has left school just to go to another school, which is very much not having a normal schoolday at all.

Her entrance is also very much not normal, given that a magical girl coming in from off-screen with a scarf-whipping flying knee towards a poor gray rubbersuit doesn't really fall under that definition. It does, however, fall under 'painful', and she flips back afterwards to land on her feet with a nod to the multicolored Rangers before facing down the rest of them, along with Doraxplorer.

And the two girls who were already joining the fray. "You two--? You were...there during the whole thing with Ultraman Belial, weren't you?" Well, this isn't exactly the best time to catch up, but she makes a mental note to either talk while they fight or leave it for later.

And there's also-- "...Will! Are those..." She has to squint to see inside the jar from a distance. "...you already found them all!? Wait, deal?" It takes her a moment, while elbowing another unfortunate member of the rank-and-file out of the way. Her eyes drift up to the plume of lava sailing straight through the roof of the school, and then back to the Captain. "I-Is this really the time?"

She already knows the answer is probably going to be a very nice-sounding 'of course'.
Touta Konoe An attack on a school of all places by none other than other worldly entities...It's actually more common than you think. It's also the reason that this time rather than appearing on the older side of things, The returning faux vampire has opted to arrive on the scene in a form that's a bit more appropriate. For those more familiar with him from once upon a time, the appearance of a smaller middle-school sized young man would probably seem about right...For those who might have met him the other day...It'd be like seeing the Touta of yesterday's younger brother.

Upon the arrival of the Elites it basically looks as if there's a kid from the school joining them as Touta joins the fray, though as he knocks back a few of those gray-suits. With the chaos that ensues it's rather hard to tell where to focus...That is until...

"Woah. That's new."

He watches the bowling display as the pink-haired girl uses that oversized shield to rush through a crowd, and the orange-haired girl who does a rather impressive tackle...? Fumbling...? Into a group of them as well. Though it seems like she ends up taking a moment to pick herself up and to make sure that she's able to do that while this Shielder appears to blast through enemies. In the same moment, Touta finds himself unintentionally performing a Rider Kick into the fray as he starts beating through any gray-suits that attempt to go after the fumble girl he speaks up a tad, "Hey, you alright? Gotta be quick on the pick-up or you'll get dogpiled."

He'll offer his hand to the orange-haired girl, opting to help her up. As he starts scanning over the surroundings. "Mmmm, looks like it's already gotten pretty crazy...And then there's..."

"He clears his throat. "Ahem. Do pardon me," he says over the sound of the volcano, "I am Captain William Hook, and I seem to have something everyone wants."

"The question is, what's the best deal I can get for it?"
"

A familiar sound comes through and from his attire, and that chest there's a certain feeling he's got an idea who this guy might be. "Ahh...Whelp, I guess it's just like before. Sometimes you just end up on opposite sides..."

It's only as he says that, does the side of the gym explode to reveal Aiden with his boisterous voice booming, "Me! Kicking your ass!" Already got a weapon on Hook ready to get this going.

"Mmm, looks like this is gonna be a big on-- Oh hey, even Sarra's here. Nice, I'll definitely need to say hi to her. In the meanwhile...Hey! Pinky! Feel like teaming up a bit?!"

He calls out to the Shielder as he stays close to her friend, trying to show at the very least he's not trying to bring either any harm. In fact, he's clearly shown he knocked down a few enemies heading for that orange-haired friend and seems ready to knock back a few more.
Angela Rose was in class when the call went out. It's kind of a drag really since she had just recently gone out into battle and now she has to go back into battle again. She wasn't hurt too badly from the battle though that doesn't mean she is eager to get her heart rate up again.

But if children are vanishing and volcanos are erupting in the middle of youth centers, well, even if Rose knows better than to be a bleeding heart, these are kids!

(Please ignore that Rose is also a kid because she is a kid... who has had a TOUGH LIFE and that means she's basically an adult, you see) ((parenthesis is Rosepinion).

Rose arrives with Hibiki, wearing the Magical Girl of Courage's Ego Gear--and carrying a large acid leaking hammer in her hands. The acid doesn't seem to do extra damage to the facility or Rose herself. Arriving shortly after Rose is Carol who gives Rose a hurtful glare upon rival and is carrying a red colored knife in one hand and a Tiphereth datapad in the other (on).

"This isn't even Hibiki's world." Carol says.

"Yet here you are, Carol." Rose says.

"...It's to gather information. And my job. ... Whatever."

"Stop arguing, watch out for that magnifying glass. You're going to have to get them out of glass and figure out a way to unshrink the kids and Blue Ranger."

And then Hook steals the booty while they were distracted arguing.

Tiphereth glares at Hook but then sighs. "What do you want?"

Rose blinks a few times and shortly after Hibiki says 'Is this really the time?' Rose blurts out herself. "W..wait... Are you being serious, Captain??"

She frowns. "But they're just a bunch of childr---ohhh...."

Yeah she gets it now.
Captain Hook      Aidan gets a flashy smile and a once-over from the Captain's good eye. Then, "No, I apologize. You're really not my type. Don't take it personally - it's just that I've a level of tolerance for fur and you do seem a bit *more* than I'd go in for." Hook is looking down the gun with that self-assured smile the whole time. "Very pretty eyes, though. Like gold. I do like gold." The jar vanishes back into his coat. His hook goes to his lips, and he blows Aidan a kiss. "That's for the shine in your eyes."

Zi-O gets a chuckle. "Oh, I'm not, really. I don't much care for taking prisoners. I don't have any desire to keep them. Whatever would I do, put them on the mantle-shelf?"

     "Buu~uut,"

When Hibiki asks if it's really the time and Rose asks if he's being serious, Hook's smile widens, and there's a gleam in his eye. "Someone's going to profit off this situation. Why *shouldn't* it be me?"

"Do you know what sort of things these power coins can do? Perfectly fair trade, I think."

Hook's smile has not faded in the slightest. "All you have to do is outbid the opposition."

"I'm sure she'll put up an opening bid any minute now."
Ritsuka Fujimaru When their attention is brought to the captive children by Hook's sudden boast, Doraxplorer pauses with that same vacant smile plastered across their face. They raise the magnifying glass while looking right at it, revealing... The table! Just the table. No kids.

"A deal? With Captain Hook? How can we trust you?" The Red Ranger gestures wildly, clenching his fist and thrusting it to the side.
"We have to! The kids and the Blue Ranger could be in more trouble if we don't!" The yellow Ranger replies, somehow talking normally while ducking and kicking a gray rubbersuit across the face.
"But what kind of deal could we make with a pirate who could get anything?" The Black Ranger asks as he dives between a pair of rubbersuits to regoup with the others dramatically.
"Do we really have time for this? Just check your wallets!" The Pink Ranger snaps while sweeping a bow across a rubbersuit's legs and throwing them into the air somehow.

"Oh no! We can't have that. Do YOU want to join the-" Doraxplorer starts to threaten Hook, but they're quickly interrupted by the sudden arrival of the two-in-one Kamen Rider doing a wheelie right off their face. Despite looking like a rubber-covered mascot, some sparks come off the mascot-thing's surface before stepping back to get a better feel for the situation.

Alexis' flaming Pokemon give the Rangers some reason to view her with caution, but they don't make any assumptiong just yet. They're busy fighting the gray humanoids, after all, and the numbers disparity is starting to become a bit more manageable thanks to Sarracenia's plant soldiers narrowing the gap in bodies.

Unfortunately for the school, physical stability might still be a problem for it down the line with the way Aidan makes his appearance through the side of the gym. Inside, he can see the greaser-scientist-wannabees scrambling around in a panic, apparently unable to find an exit while also trying to round up the few children that haven't already been caught by the Doraxplorer. The white-haired woman is also in there along with the remains of several of those gray humanoids, and she looks amused enough not to actually direct them towards that hole.

The presence of some children inside lines up fairly well with the information Woz might get, too, even if most of those missing children are currently being held in that jar that Captain Hook snatched right out from the Doraxplorer's noseless face. The children can barely be heard shouting for help from inside it, and the Blue Ranger seems to be trying to calm them down while looking up at the closed lid every now and then.

Hibiki's arrival via pounding a rubbersuit into the dirt gets a small crowd of them to disperse, too, along with Ritsuka and Mash looking over in surprise at actually recognizing someone here.
"Hey, yeah! Hi, Hibiki. Glad to see you here, too! I mean, it could be better, but-"
"Master! Miss Tachibana, it's good to see you again. We'll catch up later!"

Touta's offered assistance to Ritsuka has her taking it gratefully, hopping back up with another stumble before bracing one hand on Mash's shoulder. "Oh, I'm okay. Thanks! Wouldn't be the first time, and it won't be the last!"
Mash, in comparison, just lets out a worried noise and hurls her shield at another gray minion like a boomerang instead. "P... Pinky? Ah, thank you for your help, too!"

The arrival of yet more Magical Girls(??) gets the Doraxplorer's attention again, but they can't quite get the magnifying glass readied again just yet even with Rose presenting a potential target for stealing. They certainly try, of course, but a convenient deflection from the Pink Ranger shooting at them with the bow keeps that attempt at bay. "Don't get any bright ideas! Hey, you kids shouldn't be here!"
Ritsuka Fujimaru Naturally, all of these interruptions and sudden arrivals of assistance draw the ire of one witch Bandora back in her palace on the moon. "Who are these intruders? First these Rangers don't even sound right, and the... One, two, three?! Three new Rangers that do sound right don't look right, and... What /are/ all those creatures down there?!" Her confused fervor becomes so intense, even, that instead of just yelling at her answer-lacking minions, Bandora decides to take matters into her own hands.

Despite the air being mostly clear (aside from the volcano spewing burning stone into the air), a flash of lightning strikes the ground, and a small figure can be seen descending from the sky in its wake. As it draws closer, it becomes more apparent that it's a person in some kind of huge brown robe that makes her look rather witch like, and she comes down riding an old-timey bicycle with a massive front wheel through the sky.

Laughing like she's enjoying the whole show despite the numerous setbacks, Bandora stops her bicycle several yards off the ground to look down upon everyone outside the youth center. She glares at the Power Rangers for several moments, then smiles wickedly while looking right at Hook. "Now isn't /this/ a fun little development? The man from the storybooks, in the flesh? If it's deal you seek, then let me show you what power you could have for aiding me today!"

While the Power Rangers exchange extremely confused glances with each other after all that, Bandora focuses more on getting something out of the front basket of her bicycle. There's a shimmer as she reaches deeper into what should be something small, and out comes... Something that looks like a gamepad! Four buttons on the left, four buttons on the right, and a long wire coming out the top.

"Behold, my Dorally Controller! This creation will be yours if you join me, Captain Hook!" Whipping the wire around in a circle, she lobs it towards the Rangers, and the end sticks right into the Yellow Ranger's helmet. Inexplicably, she starts attacking the other Rangers, all while the remaining gray golems start taking advantage of the situation to start fighting everyone else that's come to try and put a stop to this situation. Most of the Golems fight with standard punches, kicks, and grappling maneuvers, but the real threat comes from Doraxplorer!

Instead of just trying to shrink people, the Doraxplorer starts sweeping the magnifying glass around like they're directing a beam. Those looking at the glass will notice that, instead of showing the jar or the table, it shows the blinding light of the sun as it focuses through the glass and threatens to scorch them with a heated laser!
Captain Hook      "Of course you can trust me," Captain Hook says at the Red Ranger, "I'm an honest man in honest employment. Theft is the most honest form of commerce there is - you have what I want, and I take it. This is the second most honest form of commerce - auctioneering. I have what you want, and you name a price."

"If you can't trust my word, then ask the people who know me if I'm trustworthy when it comes to treasure." His eye sparkles again. "What do you say, Hibiki? Zi-O? Can they trust me to honour a deal?"

"I haven't much need to control my allies," Hook says dismissively at Bandora, "I'm not really that sort of pirate. I prefer treasures. Especially marvelous, mystical ones. What else have you got?"
Aidan Proudpick CRITICAL HIT.

Aidan is a novice hero. A youthful soldier, and one with something to prove. Blood runs up to his face and ears. His gun wavers quickly as he tries to process this exchange as quickly as he can. The look that spreads across his face isn't some sort of smitten expression, but there is certainly a sort of pleasant confusion. This is CERTAINLY his first time being complimented on the battlefield.

Fortunately, he is not risking his life this second, and he has a moment to recover, especially in the face of the hardening of ideals. The hand tightens around the fantasy mixture of wood and glass and metal, the wavering barrel swaying side to side suddenly focuses back on Captain Hook.

In his head, the wheel spins. Renegade, Paragon. Renegade, Paragon.

Captain Hook threatens to simply return everyone to danger.

Renegade.

"Because if you don't, and you DO throw it over, you get a hole in your chest."

Those golden eyes glances back, looking to see the team group up. And then comes the horrific HEAT LASER, dragging across the floor. Aidan tries to kick back and out of range, but his dodge roll when not using the shield's speed is not quite up to snuff, and it blasts a line up his chest.

NOW everyone else is bidding on the bottle?!

The squirrel whips around, pointing his FANTASY GUN out. It is only safe to describe them as 'air bullets'. Sharp blasts of air come out in sharp short blasts at the Doraxplorer's magnifying glass! Hopefully it's not just glued to the rubbery costume!
Sarracenia      The heat ray sears Sarra! She yelps and a puff of smoke envelopes her for a moment, and when it passes she is back in her normal outfit. She growls lightly and hops down from the hole in the roof, then rushes at Doraxplorer and swings that big hammer in a downward strike.

She hops back after the attack, then looks over at Hook. "Is treasure all you want?" she asks, then hmms. "Well, I'll give you the option..." She snaps, and a Piranha Plant in a butler outfit drives a wooden cart through the hole in the wall. Atop it are two pirate-esque treasure chests.

The plant brings it to Sarra, and she pops the top on each one. "...of either...a chest of gold and jewels~" she says with the flair of someone introducing door prizes, "Or, a chest of power-ups and explosives!" The second chest as a plethora of those power-ups with the cute eyes that the Pipeland Princess is always using, along with bob-ombs and a few other random explosive devices.
Shotaro Hidari The beam from the Doraxplora catches Kamen Rider W in the chest, causing the two-in-one Kamen Rider to go flying, as toku sparks go flying. Hitting the ground, W is forced to flip back to his feet, and looks rather sour at the whole situation, though it's more because of his body language, he's got a helmet on after all.

"Kamen. Rider. Not Ranger. Kamen Rider W. Please, let's not mix our genre's more than they are already mixed," Shotaro says, while Philip's side of W is more fascinated by what he's seeing out of Doraxplora.

"Shotaro, you should swap in Trigger to counter that glass," Philip comments.

"Right," Shotaro says, pulling out a new Gaia Memory (which is like a little USB stick with a sick design and a button on them. He pulls out a blue one and presses a button on it. It calls out what it is...

TRIGGER

He pulls out the JOKER memory and puts it to wherever he pulls the memories out of, and slams the new memory in. Once more the W belt is spread out, taking its iconic shape.

CYCLONE TRIGGER

The JOKER side of W is blown away by a strong wind, and the new pieces that replace it are blue. With this form, he pulls out a gun called the Triggermagnum. With it, he points it at the weapon that the Doramonster is using and fires a shot. The shot is a green piercing blast of energy that aims to hit the magnifying glass, but also tries and bounce it off the attack to hit the control device on the ranger.

"Your business is with me, Xplora," W says, trying to draw its aggro so that the others could try and figure out what to do about the missing people and volcano.
Timespace Riders      "Not all of them," says Zi-O to Hibiki. "There are still a few here, hiding!"

All you have to do is outbid the opposition. I'm sure she'll put up an opening bid any minute now.

So--that didn't work, huh? Then... I guess I have no choice but to take it out of his hands. Zi-O laughs. "I could, sure," says the Rider with that same air of impish amusement. "Or I could just *remove* the opposition."

<J-IC-Scene> Captain Hook says, "I certainly won't stop you if that's how it goes~."

Zi-O reaches for a Ridewatch, and, thinking in tune with him, Woz does the same. These are not happy protagonist-coded Ridewatches. Rather, the fiery silhouette surrounded by destruction on one (calling out SURTR) and the cold, calculated consideration of a horned figure on the other (calling out LOKI) hints that they are the more transgressive, reaching-for-power forms.

What do you say, Hibiki? Zi-O? Can they trust me to honour a deal?

"He's not going to turn down a chance to get something out of this," Zi-O affirms. "You can trust him!" Both Riders insert their Watches, Zi-O spinning his belt and Woz closing the gate on his. The retainer leaps and dodge-rolls to clear the beam from the magnifying glass, whereas Zi-O just lifts his forearms and takes it head on, grunting in pain as he's pushed back across the gym floor.             Future Time! Freezing! Seizing! Futurering Loki! LOKI!
                   ARMOR TIME! World-Engulfing Flame! SURTR!

A suit of armor appears before Zi-O, a hefty bladeless hilt clutched in one hand. The armor takes the brunt of the punishment, The wristband of the cuirass watch-motif is black like volcanic glass, while the hands of the watch on the helmet resemble pyroclastic sprays of lava. Glowing orange runes light up along the sabatons, greaves and pauldrons, as Zi-O sends the armor flying towards Bandora with a punch. The component pieces swarm her, bubbling lava burning as each piece then flies back and snaps into place over him. The hilt in his hands promptly sprouts a greatsword of roaring flame, to match the cape of ropy lava that sprouts from his shoulders.

Woz, meanwhile, sports a mirrored form, cool and icy blue runes paired with gleaming silver. The hands of the smartwatch on his helmet's face turn to long, exaggerated horns of gold, curved in a sharp upward sweep. A polearm flies in from offscreen--a weighty-looking Seidr staff--the weapon of a wise man, albeit with a touchscreen beneath its neon-green head. He lifts it and slams it against the ground, summoning a spread of icy spears to race towards DoraXplorer with explosive force.
Hibiki Tachibana     Mash and Ritsuka both get a nod! It could be better, but they'll make do. And Rose really is always a welcome sight. It's not like Hibiki almost ever fights alone, but being directly joined by her is different. That, and...she really is happy to see her donning that outfit now. She should tell her as much--when...she's not running into Carol again, who Hibiki certainly remembers from Dysnomia's visit.

"Hey, hold on, you two..." She's not sure how to defuse the tension between them, but Tiphereth manages for now. That's a relief, but it'll only be for now. And there's still...

"Well, no actually..." Hibiki admits on the subject of power coins, before something else he says gets her to look confused for a moment. Opening bid? "...'She'?"

She plainly has no idea who the Captain is talking about until thunder splits the sky and...is that a witch riding a flying bicycle? And she's actually making an opening bid!? Her opening bid is being used to make the Yellow Ranger attack everyone around her while heat beams try to scorch them all, but much like her (on top of being yellow-coded) Hibiki is also rather good at speaking while avoiding danger.

"You definitely can--" The magical girl sweeps the feet off a poor mook. "--trust Will to stick to any deal he--" Another one is grappled, spun, and tossed in the way of the sweeping sun laser as it goes Carol and Rose's way to give them more time to deal with it in their own ways. "--makes! But..." Another elbow. That makes two!

"There's like, a whole volcano erupting right there!? That's all I'm saying! Also, I don't really have much to offer anyone!" She'll understand the purpose behind all this dealmaking eventually. Probably. Right now, she's doing the one thing she /does/ have to offer - which is gratuitious physical violence, in the form of using a rubbersuit as a human projectile for the second time by dropkicking them--not towards Doraxplorer, but towards the wire Bandora is using to manipulate the Yellow Ranger! She'd like that to be unplugged.
Alexis The concerned look from some of the Rangers doesn't go unnoticed, but Alexis just gives a short wave in their direction. "Don't worry about -these- monsters," she quips, jabbing a thumb in the direction of the Fire pokemon, "the only thing they'll be beating up is whatever is behind this fiasco." A lot of people have turned up to help, though it's the familiar voice from aboard the airship that gets her attention next, and a wave in the now icy Princess's direction. "Good to see you come out to help too, Sarra... Be careful with the ice though, changing the temperature too quickly can cause its own issu--"

She stops as Scorch grunts. "<<Alexis, bigger problems,>> as he grabs her by the shoulders with his paws and turns her back around to see the witch arriving on the flying bike, and the mascot monster getting more direct with their lens motions.
"Right, guess we need to deal with that too." That looks more like a combat motion than just the wonky seek-and-speak it was initially doing. "Majorette, give us a Light Screen!" With a yip the Braixen jumps in front of them, holding out one arm to spin her flaming stick the same way her namesake would. Sparks and ripples of psychic energy emit from it, briefly doing the anime 'beehive barrier' look in the air. Just in time for the light ray to slam into it. There is indeed a lot of hit sparks flying, as well as teeth gritting and heel scraping as Majorette strains to hold the barrier up. It only diminishes an attack's power rather than block it, but that makes it easier for Scorch to shrug through it while the two stand in front of Alexis like good Pokemon.
"Now then," and that's when Alexis shifts her stance to the proper dramatic point and command pose of her own. "Scorch, if they want things to be a hot time, why don't you show them what a -real- volcanic force is like!"

This time it's not a snarl but an outright roar that emits from the flaming badger, to the point that the intensity can be felt around him. The intensity of the flames around his neck is only second to the surge of molten flame and ash that blasts out of his mouth towards the Monster Of The Episode and it's Master with much the same erupting power! Typhlosion wasn't called the Volcano pokemon for nothing.
Angela Rose says, "What!" at the Pink Ranger. "I'm not a--" She realizes finishing that sentence is just going to make her sound even more like a kid so she gjust clamps her mouth shut and swallows her pride before Doraexplorer sends a HEAT LASER blasting at her and Carol. Rose pushes Carol out of the way, taking the brunt of the blast. She flies up into the air upon impact with a pained yell, sparks flying everywhere before she hits the ground roughly on the side.

Carol also flies into the air and hits the floor despite not getting hit but that's stock footage for you.

"R-Rose..." Carol says, stumbling up. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm okay." Rose sits herself up slowly, groaning. "Luckily I upgraded my Ego Gear." She pushes herself up slowly, shaking her head to clear it of stock damage.

Rose darts in towards Doraxplorer. "Can't believe we let a Swiper get away with Swiping!" She swings that big old hammer at Doraexplorer, trying to just... hit the monster of the week while Hibiki is trying to free one of the Rangers!

Carol meanwhile stumbles up and thinks... Is it her fault? Is it her fault?? Should she just insist, loudly, now and proud...

"Okay." Tiphereth says. "You want something Mystical? How about some EGO Gear? We can get you a rifle that never misses its target. That useful for a pirate?"

"W..wait.. can we actually make a trade like that? Without consulting the Manager?" Carol asks.

"...Children are at stake, Carol. We can worry about something as trivial as 'permission' later."
Touta Konoe The events keep getting hotter and hotter! Doraxplorer's magnifying glass definitely seems like it's going to raise the temperature a tad to which well...

"Sorry, can I join you two behind this?!"

While he could have attempted to dodge the glass on its own, he figures that being able to join Ritsuka and Mash behind the shield is a great way to socialize. "Ehehe, not your first time either, that's great! Also, sorry to give brief introductions but name's Touta. And uh...I'm gonna see what I can do about this pirate real quick. You two think you can keep out of that thing's lens?"

He imagines they'll honestly be fine and thus once the ray stops spotlighting them, Touta finds himself calling out to Hook from the shield, "Oh captain, my captain! I got a deal for you! I don't have gold, but for a very limited time special offer you can have a crew of one! An Elite not affiliated with any factions that you can get a freebie gig out of without having to get into any headaches with afterwards."

At this point, Touta does reveal himself from behind the shield for Hook to take a gander and at first, it's probably not much to see. A kid that probably makes Hibiki almost look tall depending on the angle you look at, but unlike her probably not as pleasant to look at for the captain either. "Of course, before you say anything, how about I give you a free demonstration of what you'd be investing in!"

From there, Touta starts scanning the room again, trying to find the perfect angle as he bites into his thumb. At first drips of blood hit the floor, red crimson dripping...But it slowly begins to bleed an exceedingly profuse amount, even the blood turning black as the drips turn into a puddle, that turns into a body of black mud that comes up to the knees. "I feel like a big wave would be pretty on theme for a pirate at sea, what say ya?!" It's then that a small wave somehow starts to form in the gym, not large enough to tower the ceiling but it's clearly enough that a few of the gray-suit goons are going body-surfing in it as it attempts to crash into the volcano and submerge it. The Black liquid slowly but surely attempting to fill in the entrance of it and temper the lava as it arises till it cools.
Ritsuka Fujimaru "You're not interested in this? Alright, then..." Undeterred by Hook's disinterest at the Dorally Controller, Bandora gives the suspiciously Neo Geo-esque controller a few more presses, but W's shot to the wire knocks it right out of the Yellow Ranger and returns her to normal, and Hibiki's dropkicking maneuver even gets the wire yanked out from the other end of the controller! Bandora doesn't look particularly worried, though, and scoffs after the fact just shoving the now-wireless controller back into the bike's basket.

She digs around some more while casually ignoring the projectiles being fired at her by the four Rangers still present. Eventually, she takes out an old tome that's definitely bigger than the bike's basket. It's certainly got a lot of magic power radiating off of it, though, lending credibility to what she claims the book can teach him.

"If it's powerful treasure you seek, then perhaps this will be more to your liking. With this, you'll learn the secret to turning anything into gold! Children and adults alike would tremble if they knew you could turn them into statues with a single spell, or that you could create the most delicious food out of their souls without a single ill-effect!"

When it's clear Hook won't turn the jar over without some kind of offer, though, the Rangers rally together to try and figure out what could contest her offer. Shortly afterwards, they thrust their hands forward to dramatically show Hook the power of their wallets.

"A state quarter collection!"
"Twenty dollars!"
"Seven twenty five!"
"Thirty four!"

Sadly, they don't actually have a lot of money on them. They're still high school students, after all! The power coins being brought up has them once again doubting him at first, but none of them seem willing to refuse nor accept his suggestion yet. On one hand, the kids and the Blue Ranger are in trouble! On the other hand, can they really risk giving those coins up if other threats could come?

Luckily, Sarracenia's and Tiphereth's offer of gold, jewels, gear, and powerups adds a whole lot more to the that side of the equation that the Rangers can't quite keep up with! Ritsuka and Mash consider their own potential additions, too, although all they manage to offer up is a rare (in the modern era) vinyl of some early 90's singer that nobody gives a shit about anymore.

At least it's rare.

"Kamen... Rider? You and those two?" Bandora points at W, Zi-O, and Woz while continuing to push the pedals of her flying bicycle in midair. "Keep your nose out of Zyuranger business, then! I'll play with you all another time if you're that lonely!" Despite the fighting going on and Doraxplorer being on the back foot, Bandora still finds time to laugh it up. She's confident in the power of her offer, after all, since a magical tome would surely be more worthwhile than jewels and gold!

To her, anyway. She really does like the spells in there.

Hibiki helps bolster the Rangers' belief in Hook's deal-cutting trustworthiness, and that seems to give them the push they need. "You can take mine after we're done here!" The Red Ranger shouts, drawing predictably surprised gasps from the other three. "Once we defeat Rita's monster, I'll turn it over!"

Naturally, Bandora and the Doraxplorer have no idea who he's talking about.

Despite not having visible faces on their suits, the Rangers are visibly relieved by Alexis' affirmation that the Pokemon aren't, in fact, going to add to the fire. If anything, they might be more worried about Sarracenia's and Rose's (literal) hammer blows being directed at the Doraxplorer, but collateral damage is a fact of life here.

Alexis' warning about adding ice to the volcano, weirdly enough, gets a pleased cheer and claps from the Doraxplorer. "That's right! Just like mom and dad at home warn, never mix something super cold with something super hot. That's real dangerous, and your plates could explode!"
Ritsuka Fujimaru Mash provides a convenient shield for Touta to hide behind, and it only takes a quick glance between her and Ritsuka before he gets a nod in affirmation at staying out of the mascot monster's lens.

With so many attacks coming towards the Doraxplorer, it's probably little surprise that they don't really know which way to go to avoid them! Aidan's air shots and W's piercing laser coming for its magnifying glass force the mascot to bring it in close to protect it, but that comes at the cost of just eating all those shots directly with all the flashy hitsparks that implies. Despite the pyro effects, Woz's ice spears also create more of those flashes of easily-detected damage to spark out of the monster, and the ice has the additional effect of slowing down its movements considerably!

Sarracenia's and Rose's engaging it at close range force it to change gears, meanwhile, holding that magnifying glass higher in the air to keep it out of range even as the strikes batter it around and knock it to the ground more than once. By the time it gets back up,

While Mash keeps Touta covered for the time being, Ritsuka joins Hibiki in beating up the gray mooks! It might even be a little easier to do so with an extra target, although Ritsuka does have to fall back to the safety of the shield before long. Thankfully, the wire is still safely on the ground where it probably can't hurt anyone else!

It's really intent on protecting that magnifying glass, isn't it? Only when it finally gets a chance to get some distance does the Doraxplorer finally raise their glass again, but not to fire a laser. This time, the magnifying glass grows massive, larger, almost looking like it might blot out the sun itself!

It quite literally looks that way, even, despite not actually growing in size. The perception of it definitely makes it feel bigger, though, especially when it's crashing down on the group like an entire skyscraper being brought down on them from on high!

INSIDE THE SCHOOL

The ice being tossed into the volcano and the wave of black mudcreeping through the building have mixed results! Despite the volcanic activity matching that of a small volcano, the actual interior volcano responsible for all this is still relatively small and shows marginal slow down! The black mud helps with that as well, but also has the potentially unintended side effect of making the kids and the comic relief duo freaking out and running away from the exit rather than towards it.

Jeanne, meanwhile, keeps following along and laughing at their misfortune. She knows what's going on, but she's certainly not going to tell them.
Captain Hook      Hook points at the Red Ranger and Sarracenia. "Sold," he says, and tosses the jar over. He shrugs at Bandora. "Sorry. Those coins are unique, and I'm rubbish at spells, and that is a *lot* of gold."
Ritsuka Fujimaru Zi-O's armored-punch-projectiles don't quite seem to work as well as they should against Bandora at first. Even though they swarm around close enough to easily burn her or even strike her directly, there's some kind of shimmering shield around the witch protecting her. She looks like she's not trying too hard to maintain it while she continues pedaling on her bike and chanting something incoherently, but he can tell that it's taking far more focus than it looks.

She's glaring right at him when it happens, and she eventually starts ascending further into the air when Hook takes up Sarracenia and the Red Ranger on his deal. "How terrible... You've given up your only chance at getting this treasure, Captain Hook! Destroy them all, Doraxplorer!" With a wave of her hand and a clutching of her forehead, Bandora disappears to return to the Bandora Palace on the moon!

Those trapped in the jar, meanwhile, seem relieved, but only to an extent. The children are still freaking out, and the Blue Ranger keeps gesturing at the lid while his movements become more sluggish by the second!
Aidan Proudpick The magnifying glass is coming closer. Or... wait. Aidan's tiny farm boy brain is having trouble understanding this sort of thing. Luckily, as it gets closer, Aidan thinks to put his shield up.

Dodgerolling with the shield out isn't easy. The shield wants to move one way, and Aidan is trying to move the other. And the shield thinks inertia is a BITCH. His only chance is to blast out of range of the magnifying glass, then at the last second, turn his body up and blast the shield up again.

The effort deflects the edge of the magnifying glass, letting Aidan squeak out of the side and roll onto the floor. A hand on the ground and a kipup. Fires to put out, fires to put out. A COMPLETELY NORMAL WOMAN(?) has the jar, this should be good? "Crack the jar lid!" He shouts over at Sarrencia before he turns around to the volcano. It's... fire, right? Probably?

Aidan reaches down into his chest, feeling the life breath within. He breathes it all out of his chest, then sucks back in! He takes a deeeeep breath, pulling all the air out from around the volcano, forming a vacuum sphere around it!
Shotaro Hidari The Magnifying glass grows... grows... GROWS! Well, that's not good! Kamen Rider W aims the TriggerMagnum up and fires a shot, aiming to delay it just enough for the two-in-one to try to throw themselves back and away from the crashing weapon. He manages a roll and is back on his feet as Bandora gives him crap for crashing into her scene.

"Lady, aren't you in the wrong place too? I mean, do these Rangers know you? I am sure they're not called the Zyurangers..." though Shotaro isn't sure either. Meanwhile, the Philip side sounds thoughtful. The two have a plan in the works and are trying their best to make sure it goes as perfectly as he can.

Another memory is pulled out. This one is yellow and once the button on it is pressed, it does its own call out.

LUNA

Pulling out the CYCLONE memory, he slips the LUNA memory into its place and spreads the W on the belt out again.

LUNA TRIGGER: LUNA TRIGGER Like before, the green half of W is blown away, replaced by a yellow form. He points the TriggerMagnum out, and fires a barrage of yellow and blue shots, aiming to wrap around the Doramonster and strike from two different angles. He swings around, aiming a nice barrage at the various dora minions, aiming to try and keep them suppressed while others work their own offers.

He comes up next to the Rangers, "You're offering money to a pirate who can get way more than that.." the Shotaro side speaks up, before the Philip side kicks in, "A pirate like him is more interested in things that have a value that can't quite be calculated. Some things that some might consider valueless, but others consider priceless. Think outside of your American thoughts of what is valuable." The two detectives try to provide help to the teenagers with attitude.

To the witch, "No drawbacks what so ever huh..? A story about an item that turns whatever they want into gold? That seems to me that it'd have... drawbacks. King Midas comes to mind, witch." he says, firing a shot at the book, and trying to aim it to be thrown into the hands of a nearby Dorapuddy.
Sarracenia      That magnifying glass (seemigly) expands and comes crashing down! Sarracenia rushes instead toward that tossed glass bottle! "Hey! Don't throw people around so carelessly!" she exclaims to Hook before leaping for it. She barely avoids a direct hit from the giant lens and goes rolling after the shockwave catches her mid-air.

Once she's back on her feet, she huffs at Aidan. "I know I know!" she exclaims, then mmphs with effort as she tries to open the jar. It takes her a moment, and it might even seem like she won't be able to get it open. Why do they make jars so hard to open?!

But, finally and with a pop she gets it open, then sets it on its side somewhere out of the way. Will they get bigger again? She's really not sure! So, just in case she leaves some Super Mushrooms for them. (They make you bigger!)

Then, she turns back toward Doraxplorer. "Alright, that's enough out of you I think." she says and starts walking toward the mascot. The princess grips her hammer tightly, and a magical, prismatic glow flows from it and slowly envelopes her. Her hair starts to float in that magical way long hair does when in an aura, and that glow infuses her eyes until they are glowing as well. "Stop~ It's Hammer Time~" she says with a rather evil grin.

The aura flares and the princess charges forward, hammering away with amazing speed and power enough to create a shockwave and a hole in the ground each time she swings. Hopefully no allies get between her and the mascot, because the princess looks completely possessed!
Touta Konoe With negotiations appearing to be coming through successfully, the only real troubles at this point appear to be Doraxplorer and the volcano and if that's the case...

"I can handle the volcano and the evacuation, you guys think you're good on dealing with that oversized glass?!"

He assures them that they can focus on the big baddy while he handles the clean up of this science experiment gone wrong. It seems that the black mud is definitely keeping it at bay, and Touta's continuing to keep the mud to essentially surround and crash into it as if it's surrounded by a small ocean. Though as it gets bubbled it's likely that the black mud is being taken up with it, surrounding it within that vacuum with that mud that covers the interior, and in fact...Those black waves still continue to rotate inside the vacuum. It almost looks like a black swirling sphere vortex-like some sort of spiraling ninja technique that's known all throughout the media! It's attempting to handle that lava as it shoots out at this point and then swirl it like some sort of water-heating system. Constantly moving it so it can't store up heat in one place!

"Man, that really does look like a raseng--"

Before he can finish that thought, the sound of panic reaches his ears...But it's not heading towards the way of the exit and so well...He finds himself using what of the blackmud that wasn't caught in that vacuum to 'gently' guide the students towards the exits instead. Pushing them far enough to the edge where no one's slamming into doors, but not hard enough where hopefully no one's going to freak out...
Alexis It's a little odd to have the enemy applaud your awareness of some science when it comes to geothermal activity, but Alexis will take what she gets. Though not going to let it be a distraction either.

Especially when Xplora turns her tool gigantic to use it like a lens shaped club. That's a big threat, so to speak, she'll have to congratulate Sarrachina's negotiation/bribery skills later.

"< Time to take cover girls! >" Scorch barks, even as he turns around to grab Alexis under one arm, Majorette under the other, and take a defensive position.

Which in this case is wrapping his fexible body around the two smaller individuals and dropping to the ground as flat as possible. Using Defense Curl both to boost his defense and to make a temporarily smaller profile to be struck. The blow still slams on top of him, and him into the ground, but as an experienced battling monster he toughs it out.

There is some indentation into the ground as the attack is withdrawn, and it takes a moment for Scorch to push himself out of it, unrolling to sprawl on the ground while releasing the other two. "< Now I have the headache >" "Yeah, well suck it up, this isn't over yet." Majorette leans over to tap him, using some of her psychic ability to give him a boost of attack power to get back onto his feet. "We need to keep that thing occupied without adding to the situational danger." Thus Scorch switchs to Swift instead of his fire attacks, projecting glowing stars that shoot through the air and actually move to home in Doraxplora, while Majorette takes advantage of her more metaphysical side to fire beams of psychic energy from her stick-wand at the monster.

And to add to it, Alexis grabs another pokeball and tosses it into the mix, releasing a slender smokey colored lizard with magneta flame patterns. "Sulphoria, use Gunk Shot!" Which adds a third projectile to the assault, this time in the form of some viscous ichor that has a toxic acidic effect. Maybe that will help eat through the monster's stamina a little faster.
Hibiki Tachibana     Rose and Carol still care for each other enough to worry about one another. ...That seems to answer a question Hibiki had, judging from a slight shift in her expression watching it, focusing on Carol in particular, but she won't voice it out loud right now.

Since there's a whole lot else eating up her attention. Amid all the action, despite her genuine affirmation of Hook's trustworthiness, she seems surprised that the Red Ranger is willing to go that far. She might not be very familiar with the Power Coins, but she can use the power of context and put two and two together well enough.

"You're really willing to--...!" Of course he would, if he's a transforming hero. For saving his friend and children in danger, anything would be a small price. Nevertheless, she can't assure herself she'd do the same thing without hesitation in his place, and so she joins the chorus of shocked gasps.

At least until she has to fight alongside Ritsuka to keep the mooks cleared out, and Doraxplorer unleashes the fearsome power of perspective. She flatly does not actually understand how this works, even as it's bearing down on top of them, her eyes wide. "Wha--waitwaitwaitwait, how does that--"

Smash. Hibiki only avoids getting flattened by this brain-hurting attack by throwing both hands straight up, using little more than her stupid amounts of physical strength to push back up against it and contest the force as much as possible. Is she still getting crushed beneath it? Absolutely. It's just the difference between being forced to a knee and getting put into a girl-shaped crater.

But she does strain against it, down on a knee, and her fingers grip in tight onto the edge of the magnifying glass. Because it was merely a trick of perception, this means when Doraxplorer pulls it back away and the handy dandy tool of the day goes back to normal size in their view, she'll simply go along with it and end up right in front of the mascot, still holding onto it. This puzzle solution is foolproof.

And it comes with a free bonus! That bonus is Hibiki's piston-gauntlet slamming backwards as she throws a haymaker right for Doraxplorer's face, angled down so when the machinery slams back in hard enough to blast a shockwave forward, the villain of the day will be the one getting blasted down into the dirt. CGI explosion optional.
Angela Carol and Tiphereth aren't too keen on losing the auction and since the winner of the auction is an Agent of the Concord--they definitely aren't in a position to try and steal it as Angela requested. Well, they ARE but the Manager would likely to be displeased.

"Mrgrgr..." Tiphereth complains. She isn't too happy about how this is going but perhaps if they take out Doraxplorer, the winner of the mighty Hook auction will be rewarded ... with a broken jar as everybody returns to normal size? It's a hope.

Carol readies her knife carefully but she's not that well equipped for an Agent. The most she is hoping to do is keep trouble off of Hibiki and Rose.

"Hey," Rose says. "If we defeat it, its powers should fade right?" Rose asks, biting at her lip. but--the magnifying glass is getting bigger and bigger and... "It can magnify itself?!" Rose asks as she leaps out of the way using Sailor Moon stock footage animation this time as she flails her arms around. She's really not used to fighting in this kind of EGO even WITH it telling her HOW to fight with the hammer.

"G..geeze..." She squints for a moment and then throws herself onto the magnifying glass now that it HIT THE FLOOR, trying to straddle it and smash it repeatedly with her hammer!

"This thing's...in the way!" She shouts, hoping that Hibiki throwing a super punch will distract it long enough for her to get some good hits on that glass! If the smashing doesn't do it, maybe the ACID emanating from the hammer will!
Timespace Riders Keep your nose out of Zyuranger business, then!

     "No."

Zi-O seems to agree with his retainer, as he attempts to swing that flaming greatsword at Bandora, in an effort to break past her forcefield. She disappears, however, and the flaming blade passes through empty air. His helmet whips around, in time to see the trade is completed. In that case--

     "Woz! Forget the glass!"

"As you wish, sire." Rather than try and evade the massive magnifying glass, Woz initiates a clash with his staff, loosing a sharp cry of effort. The ground buckles beneath him, and just when it looks like he's going to go with it, Zi-O rushes in and shoulder-checks the massive glass with his smoldering pauldrons, pushing it to the side and allowing the retainer to leverage the magnifying glass away.

Frost clings to the surface of the magnifying glass where Woz struck it, and the two Riders waste little time capitalizing on it. Woz glances at Rose smashing into the glass with the acid-dripping hammer. "An inspired idea, esteemed Rose," the retainer compliments, before his finger races across the touchscreen beneath the head of the staff, setting forth a buildup of supercooled air around it.

BEYOND THE TIME! Giant Unsealing Strike!

Woz charges for Doraxplorer, the butt of his staff planted on the handle of the glass to vault himself over. The supercooled air condenses into a massive glacier at the end of the staff, and with a shout of effort, Woz brings it down, in an attempt to smash Doraxplorer's grip on the weapon and score Rose a few more hits.

Zi-O, meanwhile, removes the Surtr Ridewatch and slots it into the fiery greatsword.

                      FINISH TIME! RAGNAROK GIRI-GIRI SLASH!

The Demon King's magma-cape billows behind him as he spaces his legs evenly apart and holds the sword in a backk-right stance. The blade shoots into the ground with an eruption to rival a volcano, pyroclastic spray flying from the point of impact as it digs into the veins of the earth. The flames grow brighter and brighter until Zi-O shifts his shoulders, takes a step forward and swings.

The blade emerges from the ground, easily large and long enough to compete with the size of the magnified magnifying glass, and cuts a burning swath through Doraxplorer, leaving an infernal slash-mark that glows red-hot before violently exploding.
Ritsuka Fujimaru Despite leaving with her big sky bike, Shotaro (and anyone else that bothers trying) can still hear Bandora speaking! "Zyurangers or not, they won't be able to protect these children forever!" She laughs, of course, in that boisterous way that only villainous witches can do where it sounds like she's just having fun despite literally bragging about wanting to destroy children. The Doraxplorer and its fellow golems get the shit blasted out of them as expected, too, although the main monster doesn't seem to be slowed down one bit by the (apparent) size of its magnifying glass.

It's just really slow in general. Just before she can fade out of sight, however,  Bandora's book gets shot out of her hands, and he can hear her shouting angrily just before she fades out entirely. It lands conveniently in the hands of one of those golems, and just in time for that one to get pasted by a tossed shield!

Alexis's Pokemon lay down more suppressing/literal fire (much to the concern of the Rangers again), glowing stars to keep it pinned down, and the confounding beam that keep it from even knowing where it's going, never mind actually defending itself.

With the jar safely in Sarracenia's hands, the lid is twisted off, and the kids and the Blue Ranger inside get some much needed air! Sadly, just getting the jar open isn't enough to bring them back to normal, so they'll have to stay on the sidelines until they return to normal somehow. Without having to worry about the jar, though, she has a relatively easier time just moving to beat the crap out of the mascot-y monster again, and that vacant smile twitches downwards for just moment before it starts getting pummeled mercilessly.

Hibiki adds to the physical beatdown with sheer overwhelming force, and gripping onto that magnifying glass helps signal the imminent end of the Doraxplorer. Without being able to pull it back easily, it starts shaking the magnifying glass wildly! Although Hibiki's actual size doesn't change, the Doraxplorer sees her fist as being far bigger than it should be, and instead of getting mauled in the face by a high-powered piston fist, it instead gets mauled in the entire body by a high-powered piston fist.

With its back to the wall, the Doraxplorer staggers forward while holding the glass up one more time. "Can you spot... The giant? Th... That's right! The giant is..." It's struggling as it tries to utilize its magnification powers on itself. Between everyone clobbering and blasting the utter hell out of it, though, the Doraxplorer doesn't enough life left in it to stop Woz's swing from demolishing its hand and sending  the magnifying glass flying with Rose in tow. She pounds away at that enchanted glass, creating cracks in it at first that shimmer with its magic power seeping out through one, then two, then countless more as the acid works its way in. It might seem massive to her being as close as it is, but that just means more surface area to smash it apart and turn it into a rain of glass shards that somehow seem to shrink the closer they get to the ground until they're barely a speck on the floor.

Zi-O calling up his own volcanic blade, meanwhile, is another source of concern at first. It makes sense, of course, because of what the Doraxplorer created today, but the destruction of the magnifying glass returns those shrunken by it to their normal size once again! Now reunited, the Power Rangers even join in the shooting while Zi-O cleaves his blade right through the monstrous mascot, using their Power weapons as a single massive blaster to add color and variety to everyone's finishing blows. There's nothing else capable of stopping this barrage, either, with Mash and Ritsuka focusing on neutralizing the remaining putties, and before long...

The Doraxplorer gurgles, falls while turning away, and explodes in dramatic fashion.
Ritsuka Fujimaru INSIDE THE SCHOOL
Touta's mud-guidance system actually works better than expected! The large and lanky duo are still freaking out more than the kids piled onto them, but by the time they reach the doors, they look (or at least sound) relatively calm based on how little they're screaming now compared to before. Coincidentally, Jeanne is following them out, but... She didn't do anything to them, right?

Right. She definitely didn't tell them anything to get them to calm down.

Aidan goes for the volcano, and the vacuum works surprisingly well at containing constant eruptions. Between that, the ice that was hurled in, and the mud pooling around it, the unnatural volcano doesn't have nearly as much fiery force behind it as it did when this whole disaster started. Weirder still, the volcano seems to be shrinking as the minutes pass, and it becomes more apparent that the volcano is coming out of...

A table? Not even a heavy floor-attached table, but one that's just been set up for the science fair. It seems that the volcano was actually one of the kids' science projects afflicted with something freaky! With the battle outside concluding, the volcano finally stops spewing out so much lava, and all that's left is the lingering flames and cooling stone that's... Well.

It's still a lot of property damage, but at least nobody else is in immediate danger.
Ritsuka Fujimaru AND THEN BACK OUTSIDE
With the battle concluded, the Power Rangers breathe heavy sighs of relief while the comic duo just drift along in that mud with the children using them as living rafts from the mysterious mud gunk. Mash and Ritsuka stay off to the side for the time being to catch their breaths as well, and the Red Ranger is the only one that still isn't taking time to relax.

He made a deal, after all. "Captain. Pick a place. I'll give you my Power Coin there." He glances back over at the other Power Rangers in various states of body-language-based distress, then at the children and the two in Touta's mud. "You understand, right?"

Naturally, the rest of the Rangers protest, trying to pull the red one back.
"But... You can't just give it up like that!" "How are we going to protect Angel Grove if we can't call all of the Zords?" "This was my fault, wasn't it?" "You're our leader. Without you, we can't-"
"I made a deal, guys. It's fine. We'll figure this out!"
Captain Hook      Hook, who had until now been watching the fray with some distant amusement, raises an eyebrow when the Red Ranger tells him to pick a place.

Hook drops his treasure chest and kicks it with one foot. "Hop in," he says, "I'll take you elsewhere, and you can give me the coin, and then I will return you somewhere else. Just in case Bandora is watching you specifically, considering you *are* the one who chose to give up your coin to thwart her."

Hook lowers his voice in a conspiratorial tone. "She seems like the type, doesn't she?"
Aidan Proudpick Aidan has to hold his breath. Which can be an odd thing to watch, as Aidan just sort of stands there and struggles to hold it all in for long enough for the volcano to go out. Then lets out a long WOOO as it starts to go out. And the sparkles blow his fur back, as the monster EXPLODES.

His eyes turn towards the open doorway. He glances down at his shield. Granted, Hook wouldn't have been able to USE it. But. Should he have been willing to give up his shield? The squirrel wiggles his fingers through the handle of the shield as it shrinks down into the buckler.

Aidan rubs his hand through his hair. It's over. He doesn't have to think about it. He's safe from having to think about all the implications of that trolley problem until next time.
Hibiki Tachibana     With everyone's power, including that of the Power Rangers themselves, Doraxplorer is finally toppled. And more importantly, the captured children and Blue Ranger are able to turn back to normal. The moment she realizes, Hibiki practically doubles over, hands on knees, and lets out an exhale of relief.

And pain, a little bit. She did eat an entire magnifying glass to the everything, even if she returned the favor a couple times over. She probably won't be able to tell Miku she came back in the same state she left in good faith. "Hah...it all worked out...thank goodness..."

Well, mostly. There's the hideous amounts of property damage, for one. There's Carol, who she delivers a grateful nod of thanks for doing her best, and Rose, who gets a thumbs up for her part in breaking that still head-hurting tool of villainry.

And...there's the Red Ranger and Captain Hook, whom her attention seems a little pensive towards as the former goes through with his deal. All she said was that the pirate would keep his word, and she would he would, and he is. It's a straight and honest deal, she knows that. Which means now that they got everyone trapped back safe and sound...

Is it bothering her so much because she's worried for the Rangers and their very understandable concerns, or because she's not sure what it'd be like if she was handing Gungnir over like that? Or maybe it's because 'we'll figure it out' is exactly the kind of winging-it excuse she'd use if she did.

    "...Mn..."
Ritsuka Fujimaru Despite not having visible eyes on their helmets, everyone can practically feel them blinking slowly when Hook tells Red to get inside the treasure chest. The others still look concerned enough to try and stop him, but he climbs in anyway! Before he goes all the way in, though, he hears Hook, and he nods.

"Yeah, probably. I don't know how she got all this set up here, but... She might be just as dangerous as Rita." For anyone that knows any other Ritas, he doesn't actually give a last name before heading into it completely.

Seeing Hibiki falling over herself, Ritsuka snaps her fingers as she suddenly realizes something! "Oh! Hey, you. Good work out there~" She addresses her cheerfully, then extends that grin to everyone else still present while casting some basic healing spells on Hibiki to help take the edge off. It's certainly nowhere near as good as a proper healer's magic, but it's something. "That could've been way worse if we weren't here on time!"

She doesn't address the coin thing, but she does notice that look. She just doesn't say anything about it just yet.
Timespace Riders      Woz and Sougo both remove their Ridewatches. Flashes of green and pink light, respectively, wash over the Riders as their armor disappears.

The two of them share a moment; a brief glance exhanged, as the rush they'd been feeling from Sylvi's conferred power catches up with them. No--rather, as their awareness of it dawns.

Woz smiles at Sougo, his lips curled mischievously--and this draws a belated, ever so slightly giddy grin from the Demon King. It's probably fine!

Red gave up his coin to save the kids, and his teammate. Sougo makes eye contact, hands in his pocket, and winks.
Angela IT turns out that the Symphogear User isn't the only one who is a little uneasy about how that went. Tiphereth and her team seem a bit unsettled by how things turned out, despite being relieved that--well--there were numerous points where things could have just gone BAD.
r
Rose approaches Hibiki and says, "You gonna be okay?" Rose is not so unlike Hook, perhaps, in that she tends to focus on those she cares for first rather than strangers--even if she might happen to be in the stranger saving business today.

Carol just watches Rose speak to HIbiki, saying nothing.
Shotaro Hidari Kamen Rider W holds a hand up as a strange robotic bat drops into his hand. He slaps it on the gun and from it, a net is fired. He retracts it back to him. That's something that doesn't need to be in anyone's hands, and the Paladins would make a nice place to keep that book from people's hands.

Also out of Bandora's.

As W moves off, the Bat Gaia Machine is flying with the book in a net as he walks towards the bike. Both memories come out as Shotaro comes back into view.

He also passes the Rangers a card. In case they need help getting their Power Coin back from the Pirate. But for now, Shotaro has a book to place in containment.
Alexis Alexis dusts her hands off. "Good work, all three of you." Though her gaze turns to a glare for a moment between the Typhlosion and the Salazzle. "You two behave. There's still kids around." Whatever that could possibly mean. "But lets get to helping with pick up after the mess that monster and the weird volcano made. And make sure Sarra's not in need of anything." Because that's what friends do, even if the Princess is capable of taking care of herself... most of the time.
Sarracenia      With things calming down and Captain Hook absconding with the Red Ranger, Sarra approaches the remaining Rangers. "I am sure he will get the coin back at some point, and I would be quite happy to help with that. But, until that time..." She snaps, and the same butler plant brings over another chest. "He is welcome to these. Keep in mind that each one is good for one use, and if he is hit then he will lose the power and have to use another." she says as the butler plant sets the chest down.

"Thank you, Gregory~" the princess says, then opens it to reveal a chest full of those power-ups that she offered Hook. "I suggest the Tanuki suit power-up if things are dire. It allows one to transform into an unbreakable statue temporarily."

She then goes to join Alexis. "Are you alright? I mean...of course you are. You are you but..."
