Remee Halcyon Some days ago, Remee went and did a bad thing.

She put the milk in the bowl before the cereal. Okay, no, actually she and some friends snuck into the Paladins main base and broke out a weapon of war that was confiscated from Petra Soroka. The Kana.

... And then Remee fired its main cannon indoors, killing 15 people. Hence, the bounties. The listing has pictures of all four of her forms, which is something she hasn't really considered.

What's walking into this otherwise quiet town is a Food Delivery Service Dog. You can tell that it's a Food Delivery Service Dog because it's wearing a high-vis doggy vest with 'Food Delivery Service Dog' spraypainted on it in block letters, and is wearing a set of doggie saddlebags (to be filled up with supplies).

This is all despite the fact that this is clearly not a dog of any sort, but a North American wolf. Also it's clearly matching one of the four pictures on Remee's bounty poster, so. Yeah.
Solty Revant      As the food delivery wolf is walking into town, she might notice an unusually dressed girl with green hair in an unusual style and long furry conic ears, also green. She is actually holding one of those posters and asking if anyone has seen the person/wolf in question.

Which makes it pretty difficult for her to miss Remee walking in to town. The girl blinks in surprise, looks at the poster and the wolf a few times, then puts the poster into her pocket and clenches her fists. "Okay! There's the badguy! I'm going!" she says, probably to someone on a radio, then charges forward at super-human speeds and tries to grab the wolf.
Remee Halcyon > "Okay! There's the badguy! I'm going!"

Food Service Delivery Dog's ears perk up immediately.

She walks a bit faster. It's a fast walk. More like a run, really.

Solty closes in for the grab, and Food Service Delivery Dog starts trying to wriggle out. "Hey! What are you doing? I'm just a normal Food Service Delivery Dog!"

Remee realizes her mistake immediately. "- That can talk. That's normal too. Oh - heck with it."

The squirming immediately becomes more violent, Food Service- I mean, Remee using her claws and strength to great effect as she gets free.
Solty Revant      The green-haired girl's ears wiggle when the wolf speaks up and she looks a bit awed for a moment, but it passes quickly when Remee starts squirming and struggling and finally kicks the girl away. During the struggle it becomes clear that the girl is no normal girl. She is much stronger than her small frame would indicate, and her body feels much more sturdy than a typical human as well.

"I'm sorry, but the bounty boards say you did something bad. And my dad and I are bounty hunters, so I'm here to catch you! My name is Solty Revant! And bad dogs have to learn to be good, or go to the pound!"

She charges forward again, but since it is clear that Remee is going to fight instead of surrender Solty comes in with a punch this time. "You can surrender and make this easier on everyone, and maybe even show some respect to the families of the people you hurt!"
Remee Halcyon Remee gets punched right in the high-vis.

"What is - what is this saturday morning banter..."

The dog jumps back and then shapeshifts - unquestionably Remee in her human form now. Remee in her human form with a pistol.

"You don't know - anything, do you. What I'm about, what I'm trying to do. You just see a bounty poster, and assume I have to be brought in."

She aims and fires a snap shot. It turns out to be a dart, not a gun. "You're in over your head, whoever you are, so I'm going easy on you."
Solty Revant      Solty is hit by the dart and lets out a yelp as it penetrates her skin, causing a bit of an electrical spark instead of blood. She pulls the dart out, then clenches her fists again. "No, I don't know anything about you other than what the poster said. But, I don't need to know much more than that to know you hurt people to steal something!"

Her fists start to glow and seem to be blurring. "Hyaaaah!" She leaps forward again, throwing another punch. Only this one, if it hits, seems to be backed by the force of an explosion without all the fireworks.
Remee Halcyon And *that* one hurt.

The good news is that it's already healing. Slowly, to be certain, but still healing.

"That's it, then. A hunter, apathetic to the quarry. I can understand that."

The pistol is dropped - and Remee yanks out a full size double-barrel shotgun from her gear bag. "I can understand it - and I have zero respect, for a hunter who does not so much as stop to consider the world through the eyes of their target."

"One of us is going hungry tonight, and it isn't me."
Solty Revant      Solty sees the shotgun and brings up her arms to block her face and chest. The shots hit, causing more electrical sparks and revealing shiny metal beneath her skin in several places. She clenches her teeth against the pain, then lowers her arms enough to see Remee over the tops of her fists. "...empathizing with the target causes blind spots. That's what Roy says. But...if there's some -good- reason you did what you did, I would at least like to hear it. A badguy who thinks they were doing good might not be a real badguy, after all." she says.

She doesn't let up her attack though, throwing a few consecutive punches.
Remee Halcyon "I got it to stop the *actual* bad guys. The politicians and the billionaires and the policemen that the Paladins would stand in front of. The ones they'd protect and, at worst, throw some lame 'slap on the wrist' on even if they got that far."

"Those that died wouldn't let me take what I needed. They wouldn't let me leave even if I gave it up. I gave them a warning."

"They didn't take the warning."

Remee just tanks straight through the punches, instead focusing on getting another pair of rounds loaded into her shotgun.

"Just like you didn't."

Click.

"Tell them the big bad wolf sent you, and to make some room."
Solty Revant      Solty takes shotgun point-blank and cries out as the shot tears into her. She gets thrown back by the shot and lands staggering before falling onto a knee. With her body sparking in several places and one arm not seeming to work right, she has no choice but to pull back.

She does seem like she is considering what Remee said, though. "...bad politicians and billionaires getting barely punished when they do bad things. Roy and I have seen some of that." she says, then finally stands back up. "Well, at least I don't feel too bad losing, in that case." she says, then turns to run off. "...Big Bad Wolf isn't a good name for a good guy, though!" she adds before getting out of earshot.
Remee Halcyon Remee watches her run.

"... It's not meant to be," she says.

"Not meant to be a name for a good guy."

She stands there in silence for a bit.

"... Right, this hideout's exposed now, then... probably should double my food order so I won't have to worry about it during the relocation... maybe triple it..."

One of them is going hungry tonight, and it isn't Remee.
