Ishirou Last time on Utraman B...

Clips of King Joe fighting the heroes, including Belial.

Belial being separated from Ru Li in a desperate gambit to save his life, in a moment of weakness for the both of them.

Belial is shooting towards the moon, likely to make sure any residual energy does not hurt his former host or the others around him.

Alien Reiblood is forced out of Mia and Hibiki, only to visit the dying Ultra on the moon, his gem is revealed to be blinking very fast... and then stops.

A combination of someone who doesn't want to die, and wants to inflict his will upon the world... but unlike Reiblood, has some sort of protector's spirit.  Belial overtakes Reiblood, transforming into a new and dark figure.  Forming the remains of Reiblood into a long, black pole, with two mace-like heads with spikes on them.

Now...

Belial has not moved, not yet.

On the planet, on the other hand, the remains of the King Joe remain, its pilot caught but he stares at you all hatefully.  "You are making a big mistake... Reiblood... the Reibloods will put so many in jeopardy, /including/ this world.  You're dooming not just our worlds, but your own."  The man was a dark-skinned individual, with body armor and a crack helm.

The remains of the Radio of the King Joe light up, transmitting.  "Reikiller unit, disengage!  This is Ultraman Zero, I'll be there to handle the situation... Reikiller Unit..." the radio crackles out.
Ishirou In fact, almost immediately another Ultra drops to the earth.  A silver head and upper body, blue across the mid-drift, with bright reds crossing into the lower body.  Slowly, he lowers to the ground near King Joe, not taking an immediately aggressive stance.

"I see... forgive my friend here, he means well but..." he says, a slightly arrogant tone to his words, "It is important to the safety of our universe that the Reibloods are stopped, even if such a job is detestable."

"They are destructive, driven only to fight and destroy to become the inheritor of the original Reiblood... who himself took nearly the entire universe to stop.  His last effort to spite us was to spread himself across the Multiverse, to make those who stopped him do some..."

"Regretable acts."

However, just as this explanation happens, another crash happens.  Dust and dirt are kicked up, and it's obscuring the person beyond it.  Except for two eyes, elongated as well as red and orange.  Something reaches out and swirls around the remains of King Joe.  It's something you've all seen before, an Ultra Capsule capture.

The changed Belial steps out of the cloud, staring down at Zero.

"Zero..." Belial says, "If you are here then there isn't much we need to say to each other, especially now.  Other than that, you can leave.  I contain the Reiblood. Its will is destroyed..." he says, holding up his new weapon.  "The people here with it will stay here under my leadership.  You can return to our home and protect it, instead of staining your hands."

"You know Ke-... Father of Ultra won't allow that... but Belial, is that... actually you?"  Zero looks shocked at the sight of Belial now.  While he has changed, it's almost like Zero can see something else.

"It is, so leave," Belial says, offering no brokering of negotiation.  "I will protect his planet and its people.  I will let them choose how they develop, and stop you from summoning the Galactitron unit to destroy it."

Hibiki and Mai will understandably feel something is different and familiar about Belial, but it is also very different.  If Mia hadn't seen Belial utterly destroy Reiblood however...

Ru Li, can no longer feel his connection with Belial.  He broke the connection to save Ru Li's life, at apparently great harm to himself.

"It's a thousand years too early for me to believe you thief..." Zero says, "Or do you think I or Hikari forget about your crime with the capsules?  Tch... this situation is a mess now.." he says, complaining but Belial looks unphased.

"I did, I'm using them for good, for the protection of our home, instead of what you two wanted.  That... that has not changed," Belial says, "Even though my actions caused more pain in that engagement, my love for my home... and now this world has not changed."

There is an air of tension and silence.  Slowly, Zero starts moving into a defensive stance, and Belial brings his weapon up... and it grows, the length increasing, and the ends becoming more dangerous looking.  It appears these two are ready to fight.  The question is...

What are you doing?  Will you join with Zero?  Will you fight with Belial?  Will you do something else..?
Dysnomia     Dysnomia swirled down, her body recongealing as she passed through the upper atmosphere. Smoky wings stretched behind her as she descended back toward Neo Tokyo in a dive. Her wings spread over the carnage, following the descent of Belial.

She stood, eyes sweeping over the wreckage, a silver-black smoke seeping from below her. Belial's change was undeniable, his presence...Dysnomia had seen the process herself. Felt it. Her last question was first on her mind...

Until she heard the little creature seeth and snarl. "You killed anything he touched," she sneer, derisively. "Without trying to fix it. Without trying to pull it out. Without wondering whether who he touched wanted it inside them."

"And now. Because YOU pushed them to the brink, everything you feared has become real." She pointed up, without looking, feeling Belial's presence before he came into view.

"You know Ke-... Father of Ultra won't allow that... but Belial, is that... actually you?"

"I don't know what your damage is." Dysnomia spoke up. "But, I saw it myself. Reiblood tried to take control of him, and Belial shattered his soul."

"Reiblood is dead. The creature before you IS Belial, his usurper. Are you going to try to kill him for doing what you failed to do?"
Ru Li Cheng      I trust you.

Those words aren't empty. For Ru Li Cheng, ninth of nine Ru Cheng Gods, those words mean the world. A hero is someone who sticks to what they say. A hero is someone consistent, even when it's difficult. A hero is someone who struggles on even when things go wrong, when their vows cause them trouble, when their words cause them pain. It's why he never says anything carelessly, and never makes promises without thinking them through carefully - because he means every word he says.

     I trust you.

Ru Li Cheng told Ultraman Belial that, while they were bound. It hasn't changed. Even with the connection broken - no, *because* the connection was broken, Ru Li still feels the same way.

A hero isn't about power, or skill. Those are things that happen because you dedicate yourself to making your words have meaning.

Ru Li Cheng is still lying on the ground in a crater. He stares at the sky, helplessly, as Zero arrives. He stares at the sky, helplessly, as words are exchanged.

     Powerless.

But that's not what a hero is.

"I trust you," is all Ru Li is able to do at the moment. Three words to Belial. Three words that carry the god's heroic truth - that when you say something, you mean it, no matter what.
Bowser Kammy hands a little note over to Bowser. Bowser pulls out a pair of glasses and perches them on his snout to peer down at the note. A deep interrogative rumble rolls out from his throat.

NOW.

Bowser swaggers up to stand beside Belial. "WELL WELL WELL!" He points at Zero. "It seems like YOU are just mad because SOMEONE here-" he gives Belial a mighty pat on the shoulder, "is good at their job. And knows how to deal with things." He points at Zero. "Maybe if you weren't such a GOODIE TWO SHOES, you wouldn't mind handing out a few punches! Instead of crying about it."

"Like a BABY."
Ritsuka Fujimaru Things should have been fixed after that last fight, right? A little messier and potentially more tragic than expected, but what should have been a time for reflection has instead turned into yet another, newer difficult situation. At first, Ritsuka, Mash, and Jeanne are all still in the middle of checking on Ru Li, then anyone else that still needs first aid from the previous battle (moreso Ritsuka and Mash working with Jeanne begrudgingly helping or standing by), but when the King Joe's pilot speaks...

... None of them actually address him right away. Ritsuka's focused on her work, Mash glances briefly in his direction before continuing along with Ritsuka, and Jalter gives him the longest, if most condescending look of the three before doing the same. It's not until the second Ultra drops to the earth that their attention drifts back over, and that second Ultra actually gets their full attention after speaking!

"Could've fooled me. He just came down and started swinging!"
"To be fair... He didn't get much of a chance to speak before that."
"... Oh yeah. Not like we don't have anyone like that, either. So what kind of messed up acts are we talking about here?"
"The hell was that supposed to mean?"

While Jeanne tries to intimidate an answer out of Ritsuka for that jab, Mash gawks at the second Ultra coming down, and they once again consider what's going on as the giants speak and hint towards a potential battle here once again. The negotiation coming to a standstill has Mash holding her breath in vague worry that quickly becomes visible anxiety when the Ultras start stancing up towards each other.

"W-wait! Mister Zero, Mister Belial! You shouldn't fight over this. Isn't there another way?"
"Now now, Shielder. Letting them fight it out would be cool."
"Miss Jeanne!"
"It WOULD be really cool..."
"Master! Even if that's true..."
"... No, Mash is right. Those two shouldn't be fighting."

Mash breathes a sigh of relief, and then...

"... With the big guns." Ritsuka gestures out towards the sea, sounding completely serious even while Mash stares at her in utter disbelief.  "Just your fists, your hearts, and your guts! No collateral damage, no distractions, no excuses. Zero! If you really want to save this planet, then show it without wrecking the place after we stopped your friend from doing that! Belial! This is your chance to prove you can protect this world from someone that's trying to take it away from you! If neither of you can accept that..."

She makes a sweeping gesture with her arms. "We'll take you both on!" She boasts, prompting Mash to stiffen up as she slowly gets her shield back in hand while Jeanne purses her lips in confused amusement and keeps trying to help Ru Li back up (even if against rubble or something).
Angela Let's be honest, the Lobotomy Corp team barely knows what's going on here.

What they know is that Belial took some bad juice into himself to save Ru Li. This is laudible! Ru Li is what Nonon calls a a guy who is nice. She doesn't call him a Nice Guy (tm) because that's something different. But she does think that he's a pretty good dude.

Nonon also believes that generally speaking if you save someone's life and you get infected by the evil juice venom that you probably shouldn't immediately try to kill them.

However, of course, Lobotomy Corp tends to...be pretty willing to take drastic action for the sake of the better whole--like if Nonon's friend here, Rose, got gooped by Reiblood, the standard operating procedure would be for Nonon to punch her to death.

But Ultraman Belial isn't a Lobotomy Corp agent.

''I trust you''

Rose speaks up first, "Fuck off pencildick, we're not going to just kill him because he might be infected by something. We haven't even had a chance to try and help him yet."

Nonon waves her hands up into the air, somehow evoking an attempt at being the voice of reason despite being Nonon. "Hey hey heeey..." Nonon says, attempting to step between Belial and Zero. She is broad and tall and difficult to look past should she be doing this, she's a big lady. And she's smiling with the ease of someone who doesn't have to kill all the time because she's very good at it. "Let's all cool our horses a bit. We don't have to get into some big dumb fight when we barely know what we're actually fighting, yeah?"

She smiles broadly. "So how 'bout we all cool our jets. You want to make sure Belial isn't going to spread some kind of doom virus bullshit right? Not going to go ape and try to eat the world or whatever Reiblood does? Well, legit! But rather than making some PRESUMPTIONS here, how about we actually do some research? Lobotomy Corp can hold him and we can perform whatever checks you want, and we can check his mental corruption levels EZ PZ. And if he kills us all well that'll just mean he only kills us right? Everybody wins, except maybe us, haha!"

Ritsuka mentions taking BOTH on and Nonon thinks that's pretty goddamn cool. But she doesn't join her on this front today.

Angela sighs from the pad for ten seconds.
Hibiki Tachibana     What happened Last Episode feels like a bit of a bittersweet victory, if anything. Sirens wail, the portion of the city around them is aflame and leveled...Reiblood having not only left them but seemingly ousted...although only seemingly, as from what she understands from Dysnomia, it came with a great change to the injured Belial.

Now, well. The situation is even more complicated than just addressing whatever has come from Belial's interaction with Reiblood, with the advent of another Ultraman taking the scene. More or less standing on the now-still King Joe's upper torso and recovering in the wake of the fight, Hibiki turns towards Ultraman Zero, breathing still a little heavy and eyes slightly narrowed.

"That still doesn't give /anyone/ the right to come here and start destroying and killing people who--"

She's cut off, however, by a certain someone descending from above. "...!" With the familiar signs of the Ultra Capsule being used, she's forced to make a sudden leap off what's left of the King Joe; if the captured pilot is still inside, then that's also her cue to kick her way into the head cockpit and get him to safety, too.

But either way, she's finally going to get a look at the changed Belial - who both gives off a feeling of 'Reiblood', yet also his own. It's a shocking sight, especially at first...although it's that sensation, more than the overly dramatic appearance, that's what makes her know that Dysnomia probably had the right of things. It is undeniably 'Ultraman Belial'. But even not under Reiblood's control, there's no doubt the experience has had to have changed him, for him to accept that power in the first place.

With the two Ultramen looking like they're about to square off, and the rest of them caught between it... I never want to hear that you've sat by and done nothing. Never, ever again, Tachibana.

"--Belial's not perfect. There's a lot about this I don't like and still don't know...but he's spent all of his time here fighting to protect this place and save lives. Thief or not. If you're fighting to protect the universe, I'm sure that has to count for something. Even now."

Her words, said while adjusting her scarf, are of course directed towards Zero. "Nobody who was affected by Reiblood had ever asked for that to happen to them. It's not just Belial here who's going to try and stop you from killing people who haven't done anything wrong yet, if you're going to keep trying. Belial..." Her attention goes from Zero to him, in all of his edged-up glory.

"...If you really do still love your home as much as you do this world, you shouldn't be so fast to make an enemy out of everyone back there. It's only going to bring even more hurt onto this world and everyone who Reiblood touched. There's always other ways. ...Even with the kaiju."

Judging from the way she's stancing herself, it seems like Hibiki both agrees with Mash's sentiment, and is also in the department of 'neither of you assholes should be fighting right now.'
Touta Konoe     "You are making a big mistake... Reiblood... the Reibloods will put so many in jeopardy, /including/ this world. You're dooming not just our worlds, but your own."

"I don't want to hear about big mistakes when you were putting just as many in jeopardy. We had to pull kids out of here cause of you..."

The pilot gets that immediate remark when he makes claims of the group's mistake. Even if it was true the reibloods were dangerous, this pilot hadn't said anything that reassured that he was any better. The damage caused by what had happened really had taken its toll already. To say that what they were doing was a big mistake after such had already expired...

Developments only continues as the sound of the radio transmits, and the arrival of Ultraman Zero appears. He's called off this pilot and does try to explain his side of the story.Though it's Belial's reappearance that forces action of the others to keep the pilot from being caught up in the capsule's usage.

Touta's not quick enough to judge someone Belial on Zero's words alone. Sure his appearance has changed, and even comes off more questionable than before, but it's not like he doesn't know of those in similar appearance that act for the betterment of people, and he still sounds true to what he was before. Regardless of how he feels on the matter, it's already becoming apparent that things might be coming to fist-da-cuffs. Though such action is already being noted by many of the other Elites there. Hearing some throw their weight towards Belial unwavering, and others willing to hear both sides out. Ultimately...

A long sigh escapes his lips as he taps the back of his blade to his shoulder. "Oi, both of you, come on! If you're both serious about protecting the universe and this place and all that jazz then reel it back. We've...We've all caused enough mistakes by jumping the gun, let's not make anymore."

His words are speaking of his own experience at this point, not trying to repeat a similar mistake.

"If L Corp thinks that they can make sure nothing's wrong I'd trust them and you should give them the time. But if you guys seriously are planning to duke this out right here right now then..."

He looks back to Ritsuka and her Servants, "Then as far as anyone here's concerned, neither of you guys are heroes you're trying to act like."
Ishirou Things start to heat up, Mia makes her opinion known first, which causes Zero to frown at her, but who really reacts is the Pilot of King Joe first.  "Think you're so goddamn smart, don't you?  I don't know what /your/ damage is, but I saw my family die at the hands of Reibloods.  My country.  My /world/," he spits at her, "I can still smell it's stink on you now."

Zero sighs, and shakes his head at the Reihunter, "Forgive him, he has a lot of hate in his heart, when the war was over... some could not forgive what was done to them.  Ending their threat wasn't enough... they just wanted to exterminate them all to the last so that Reiblood could never live again," It is clear that Zero did not approve of this.

"And what, trapping them in their own safe digital dimension is!?  Curse you and your Planet of Light, Zero!" says the Reihunter... with a touch of betrayal.  It seems these two know each other because the expression Zero gives is crestfallen.

Bowser steps up to Zero, patting Belial on the shoulder, and stands with his evil-coded friend.  However, he does taunt Zero, causing the crestfallen attitude to be replaced by the more arrogant one.  He goes from sad to ready to throw down now, because he feels antagonism from Bowser.

"You're a thousand years far too early to be trying that with me, you giant talking Gamora rip-off.  But if you want to throw down, I'm always game to introduce you to the ground."

While this happens, Belial turns his head back to Ru Li, who speaks to him.  The Ultra looks... not socked but surprised.  During all of this, during what they exchanged, during his doubt... and even with what he looks like now, Ru Li still /believes/ in him.  Belial dips his head in respect but turns it back from Ru Li to Zero.

Ritsuka and her friends cause both Ultra's to doubletake at her either bravery or utter insanity.  This causes the both of them to laugh, not in mocking anger, but in tension-breaking respect.  Belial because he knows she means it with all of her heart, and Zero because it's refreshing... but he can sense the honesty in her words.

Hibiki's words cut through the moment of levity, Zero regards her.  "Your right, they didn't.  Their victims didn't ask for what happened to them either.  It isn't a clean and cut case," Zero says, earnestly.  "I don't like this situation any more than you do, and we certainly didn't authorize the Reihunters..." he says, looking at the pilot of King Joe, but the pilot looks away.

Belial on the other hand frowns, "No, but I know how they will act now.  Problems they see as problems have to be dealt with by the way the World of Light handles its own laws.  I sought to change this because it left us open to destruction and took away from our own development.  We've stagnated.."

"The difference is now we can't claim we're in a war," he says to Zero.

Both of them look at Touta with such a look.  "I didn't claim to be a Hero," Both say in unison, looking surprised when the other says it, then look away in a humph immediately after.  "Kid, you really don't think before you say things, do you?" Zero says.  Belial remains quiet.

The Reihunter gives Touta a glare.

Zero looks at Rose, "My translator isn't working, what did she call me..?" he asks, anyone, because 'pencildick' doesn't translate to ultra.  Nonon on the other hand makes some reasonable points.  The two look at the other for a moment, perhaps thinking the other is going to act or decline first... but after an uncomfortable few moments...

"It's fair that we don't know the current situation..." Zero says, "We have a little time to try and figure this out.."

Belial rumbles and then, "I consent to this, if only because it will protect this world.."
Ru Li Cheng      Ru Li simply offers Belial a smile before Belial turns away. Slowly, carefully, as people approach him, they can see just *how* fucked-up Ru Li is. It's like looking at a broken doll. A *very* broken doll. His limbs are twisted backwards, his knees are bent at the wrong angle...he is *very* messed up right now. Every so often, some gear inside him must be attempting to move (because he's thinking about it), because a part of his body will spasm like musculature's twitching.

"Ahaha...don't worry about me," Ru Li says, "Gods are well-made. I don't think any of these limbs are going to...work...going forward, though. I'll need a full replacement..."

     "No, wait, hold on."

With great effort he manages to twist one of his legs back into place. It's a really awful thing to watch, and the sound of flesh tearing is a grim reminder that he's not *just* machine, nor just flesh - some blending of the two, where if one is out of order, so is the other.

"I can...perhaps walk. Stand, with some assistance."

There's a horrible grinding noise as his other leg attempts to do the same. Then, he sighs. "No, no. I suppose not." He's clearly suppressing a *lot* of pain, just by the way he's breathing.

     Especially since he has...radial...precise...sensory input...

...he must be able to pinpoint and feel *everything* going wrong with him at once, huh?
Angela Rose says, "Hold on I'll draw you a picture."

"Oh stop." Nonon places a hand on Rose and pushes her to the floor until she is sitting down. This takes very little physical effort on her part because Rose is approximately 1/3rd of a Nonon.

"Nonon, our facilities are not designed for settling disputes--"

"Aw Angela, it's not a bad idea though yeah?"

Angela can't argue that and gives a small nod of consent before turning her gaze towards Zero.

"A pencildick is a thin but long--" Angela begins.

"Seems like everything's calmed down." Nonon says, smiling broadly. "Well ain't that nice?"

Nonon moves to help Ru Li up to his feet and THEN give Ru Li a friendly not quite gentle smack on the back.

"Hey buddy! Short but sweet, loved what you had to say!" She laughs heartily, completely oblivious to Ru Li's suffering.
Bowser Bowser stomps forward with one foot, fist out and clutched, eyes narrowed. "WHAT DID YOU SAY?! I'll punch you into next week!"

The various koopa minions are working slowly, stacking stones on top of stones around the little bowser fort, trying to spread it out from broom closet sized to clothing closet sided. It is a slow process.

"Protect YOUR world." Bowser insists. Ownership is important.
Dysnomia "I can still smell it's stink on you now."

Dysnomia scoffed. "And how many people just watched you butcher their families? Who's the monster now?" A slight sneer. "Shows what you know. His influence, and his stupid voice, faded the moment that Belial killed him."

Swirls of mist, shining like errant starstuff, swept around Ru Li. Pseudo-transparent claws materialized, holding him by his shoulder, his knee...Anticipating his hurts and rallying in support, as though she knew what he needed the moment he did. "Come on, Ru Li." She said, going for but not quite managing gruff, while continuing to help him moving according to his intent. "Keep up."

She turned her eyes toward the Ultramen. "Yeah, fine. Let's do this scan. What happened changed him, sure. Who really knows how?" She looks up at Zero, suspicion slowly sinking near to baseline. "At least you're talking first, instead of murdering. I guess--"

Bowser roared, and a ripple sran through her mist a moment, before settling. She looked in exasperated solidarity, first to Hibiki, then to Rose. "You just can't help some idiots."
Ritsuka Fujimaru Strangely enough, it's the Reihunter's story provided by Zero that finally gets Jeanne to acknowledge the pilot with a slow quirk of her eyebrow.

"Guided by hatred, are you...? Hmph. You're doing a terrible job, if you have to make excuses just to hunt them here of all places."

More points are raised against Zero and the Reihunter courtesy of Dysnomia and Bowser, getting an acknowledging nod from Jeanne. Nonon, Hibiki, and Touta encouraging a calmer and less violent-against-everyone course of action gets a sympathetic look from Mash, although her Master's proposal still has her sweating up until the Ultras laugh. Is that a good laugh?

Just in case, Mash keeps her shield braced as she moves a little closer to Ritsuka, who's still facing the pair directly with that same level of seriousness she always has about everything: Too much, even when she doesn't sound like it.

"I don't know anything about how things work on the World of Light, but people from Earth are a lot more resilient than we look."
"Stupid, too."
"Especially stupid! If we say we're going to handle something ourselves or with Belial here, then we'll take care of it. If we say we're going to figure out if he's infected with something or another-"

Ritsuka gestures at Nonon. "-then we'll do it! If he is, then he wouldn't be the first threat to the planet people like us have faced, either, and he won't be the last!"
"Is that really the best way to convince them...?"
"I'm sure of it. We already helped him stop a couple of other big kaiju, and there's no telling how many others we might run into later. Hell, we've got one of them on our side!"
"The overgrown turtle?"
"King Kooper, yeah. So, Zero! What do you need help figuring out now, anyway? We've got plenty of time since nothing's on fire, yeah?"

After a long pause, Ritsuka finally adds, a little more quietly, but just as excitedly. "... And if you both still want to throw hands for the hell of it, I'm not stopping you."
"Please. Go right ahead."
Ru Li Cheng      Nonon hoists him to his feet and whacks him on the back. The sound of grinding metal is like something industrial going horribly wrong. Ru Li bites down hard to avoid screaming.

The god is about to fall over, but Mia is there to grab him and keep him up. "Ah...thank you," he says politely, tilting his head downwards slightly. "It's a minor problem. I'll need some time having my limbs replaced...I can tell there's tearing in the flesh-gear connections and damage to the bones that won't heal just with light repairs. Ha, ha. That seems to happen an awful lot these days."

He doesn't seem too broken-up about it.
Hibiki Tachibana     If only not claiming to be a hero ever worked. Personal gripes aside, though.

There's a definite exhale of relief, when both Ultramen seem to avoid coming to blows. For now. Nonon and Rose (the latter of which, if Hibiki had a reaction to her insult, doesn't seem to show) get some of that relief directed their way, as does...well, most of the others.

Probably not Bowser. She would kind of prefer if he didn't antagonize Zero that much, but as long as he's not actually starting anything. Dysnomia gets an 'I know' sort of look, although her heart is only like 70% in it because she's kind of an idiot too and knows it.

"It'd all be a whole lot easier if it was clear cut," Hibiki begins murmuring back towards Zero, before her voice picks back up to a normal pitch. "But it's not, so we just have to work with what we have. Right now, all more fighting is going to do is mess up this city even more than it already has been."

She grimaces in the Reihunter's direction, pretty much at the same time as Zero, after that. There's some pretty choice things she'd like to say to him - especially after Zero's description of where his hate comes from - but most of those should probably be held off until they know what they're doing. Most of them. "...I'm not gonna blame you for being angry. Especially at that. But take a look around at what you tried to do to /this/ world."

Her tone is a little harsh, but she's also not really the person to ride anyone too much for misdirected anger. After that, it's the edgier of the Ultramen who she addresses first. "...Thanks, Belial. I'm glad...that you're still you." Which might not be perfect, but it's a lot better than the alternative. "It's true that we don't know if what happened is going to have effects you don't want to happen, though." After a moment, and some thinking, she glances to Zero.

"And if he /does/ end up in the clear...I'm sure we can resolve everything with the stolen Ultra Capsules without needing to fight, too. Ultraman Hikari--from the way Belial talked about him, it sounds like he really values peace, even for the kaiju. Enough that even capturing them wasn't a way that satisfied him. ...I'd like the same thing. If there are ways to stop them without having to kill them, and still protect this world, I think that's worth doing."

"...Reiblood tried to convince me that raw power was the only way to save anything. So doing it by working together instead is the biggest way to prove him wrong that I can think of." There's a look towards Belial as she says this, as if gauging his reaction.
Touta Konoe     Touta folds his arms one over the other. He doesn't see what calling the two Ultramen that were talking about protecting worlds, and preserving life as 'heroes' but he generally doesn't care enough to make that argument. If anything he'll count it a win if the two are agreeing on something. Plus, he's already had to defend that statement before as well so it's not like he doesn't get the annoyance on some level. "Congratulations, all three of us have something in common then. Anyway, if you two aren't calling each other names and about to cause a fight on the streets, I think that's enough to call this a win on its own."

As it stands it seems like the others could handle the rest of the negotiations if there were any that actually needed to be had. Not to mention that L Corp seemed to have some semblance of an idea of looking into this as well. Speaking of which he turns back towards Nonon as he calls out to her, "Speaking of those tests though, any idea how long it'd take for a guy Belial's size? Or if your equipment would even work on'em?" It's a question that's raised since it seemed like it was mostly her idea. So he's just curious what kind of time frame these guys are likely going to have to expect.

After the question he does notice the Reihunter's gaze on him. There's a few reasons that Touta could imagine that was the case. He might have been offended like Zero perhaps, maybe he was just as annoyed at him as he was with Mia and the rest for getting in the way of his hunt, and there was also the fact he had apparently punched him out of his cockpit previously. That could have been a sour point. Though at this point, he's not trying to give a glare back to the hunter. If anything, he's trying to appear as calm as he can. "Oi, you can be pissed off about those Reibloods, but Mia's right. If you asked any of the people here today who was the monster...Well...How many do you think would be pointing at you?"

He's not trying to be an ass. He's just asking this pilot what he considers a genuine question. Though, it's just rhetorical, for the moment he asks it, he's already leaving the pilot to his glaring. Their fight was over as far as he was concerned.

After he just looks at Mia. He can't say he knows her as well as the others, but she's helped before with the issue with Bowser, and her words now solidify a very solid point in his mind as well. While she might be looking out to others, there is at least one person that finds himself looking admirably in her direction.

"Anyway, sounds like there's a plan in action already. If you guys need me, I'll keep my radio on. Otherwise, I'm gonna do a second take around the area and make sure we didn't miss anyone caught in the debris."

Admittedly, Touta does wish there was more that he could contribute at this point. Though, with the fighting at an end, beyond just attempting to spread out a search party, there was very little that he could see himself doing to lighten the burden on the situation. The tests would be handled by L Corp, and the others could mediate between Belial and Zero. So for him, the best course of action was making sure that no one else had been missed when everyone had been helped.
Ishirou Belial turns away from the group, his eyes caught looking up into the sky.

However, it's not sure why... at least not yet.

Zero, on the other hand, is distracted with things.  First looking towards Rose, then interrupted by Nonon, and then distracted by Angela, before drawn off again.  Belial seems to answer a hanging question.

"I can change my size to a smaller state," Belial gets out so that he doesn't have to crawl through the facility.

Zero crosses his arms at Bowser, "Alright then big guy.  Name the place, and be prepared to get your ass kicked," he says with a heh.  "But not here and not now," he says seriously.

Reihunter turns his head from Dysnomia, "Talk to me when you've seen your loved ones turned to ribbons before your eyes," he says, clinging to his hate.  Jeanette speaks up, to him specifically, and he shrugs.  He doesn't follow up because not posting is free.

Zero response to Riutsuka, "Makes me think of how the stories of who we were before we became like this.  However, the Land of Light isn't as cut and dry as it might sound either.  It is still my home, flaws and all... but I guess you get that," he says with a smirk.

Belial doesn't answer Hibiki, he's focused on something else.

Zero sighs about the capsules, "Ain't going to be so simple.  People are going to want justice.  Worse that a lot of people think Belial is an extremist.  Worse now that people are going to see him as..." he lets the idea linger.

Reihunter finally, just smirks, "I got that last signal out.  I might hate how the Land of Light does things, but if they can seal this place long enough to be dealt with later I'll take it..."

Zero, and Belial realize what this means because Belial's eyes are looking at something.  "The Adjudicator is going to be coming," Belial says, pointing up at the sky, "The one who has been given command over what to do with this world... usually meant for species who are coming on the galactic potential..."

Zero sighs, "Thought I'd be fast enough to handle the situation and call it clear... but that means they're going to send them.  They're already on their way, and they will have the command over Galacitron.  Let's use our time wisely and check on Belial here.  Maybe something there can be used to prove to them that Reiblood is handled."
Bowser All that hate radiates at Bowser. He slowly absorbs it, growing more shiny and handsome.

"I'll turn your limbs into taffy, helmet guy!" Bowser snarls, smoke pouring from his nostrils. "I'll flip you like an omelette!"

"Adjudicator?! Hey, who made that guy the boss? Bet he ain't so smart."
Angela "His legs are broken, Nonon."

"Eh? He's a god I'm sure it's fine!" Nonon says before Ru Li explains that no it's not actually fine. Nonon laughs like she made an oopsie woopsie but doesn't actually go apologize.

Rose gives Mia an apologetic look because, as Mia said, you just can't help some idiots. Nonon qualifies.

Rose stands herself up and points Angela's pad at Belial. Initial scans can be done off site, certainly, but it's definitely a lot easier to have someone actually show up so they can go through the full spread of tests.

Angela listens to what people are saying but doesn't comment, largely because there's a lot of proper nouns there and she doesn't so much as care as is willing to lend a hand because being a good citizen means she can ideally continue to rely on their assistance with her own problems.

Touta mentions that Belial can shrink. Nonon didn't seem to think that far. "Yeah yeah, I figured y'all had something like that figured out." She doesn't really sweat the small stuff to an almost philisophical degree.

Angela says, "Please do not wreck our facility." with another sigh. She listens to Bowser and thinks how much joy it must be to live such a simple and untroubled life. ... Well okay he's snarling and smoke is pouring uot of his nostrils. Maybe he isn't that untroubled. But he certainly doesn't seem to be troubled by the same moralistic conundrums that Angela get shoved into making since her creation.

AND he's a family man.

But she says, "We'll prepare a room. We can't know the efficacy of our tests until we perform them, Touta, though they are attuned to a wide variety of forms and entities, many of whom are inherently bizarre."

Rose reaches for Mia's arm for a moment then pulls her hand back. "You got good instincts, pal." Rose has apparently settled on 'pal' for Mia's nickname. "When we're done 'ere we should hang."
Hibiki Tachibana     "Belial?" When he doesn't answer, Hibiki also turns her head upwards, narrowing her eyes. She doesn't understand why, until the Reihunter speaks up, and Belial mentions...the Adjudicator. Oh, she doesn't like the sound of that. She lets out a low sound from her throat.

"...It'd be too much to hope for, huh?" So says Hibiki to Zero after a few moments, at the idea of it being simple. She'd like to wish it was. But exactly as she said, they'll just have to deal with the cards they're dealt with. If the Land of Light, their home, is going to need to be convinced that Belial doesn't need to be hunted down...

"...If we can do that, make sure Belial isn't going to be dangerous--and we can talk to Ultraman Hikari, the one who was working with those capsules...I'm sure there's a way. But first things first. We'll get Belial checked out...and if this Adjudicator is still going to try and cause trouble here if that turns out fine..."

She trails off, although the implication that she'll probably try to punch them and every member of the Galactitron unit in their face is pretty obvious. Hibiki exhales through her nose, pauses, and then turns to begin walking over towards the Reihunter.

And she grabs him by the collar of his body armor with a grimace on her face. "And /you're/ not gonna cause any more trouble than you already have for your friend Zero, while we're trying to get this sorted out. I get that you've got more anger than you know what to do with. ...I get that," she says, with her rough tone giving way for a bit of a sympathetic one for a moment, before stiffening back up.

"But I'm gonna have a lot more than just words for you if you do."
Dysnomia "Talk to me when you've seen your loved ones turned to ribbons before your eyes,"

Dysnomia stared at the hunter for an uncomfortably long moment. Her smile showed teeth. Did not reach her eyes.

"For their sake," Mia said, when she finally turned away from the hunter back toward the group. "Let's hope this Adjudicator's better at listening. We already beat one thing Reiblood was too weak to face." She gestured in the direction of the smoldering hole where the King Joe had fallen.

"But I'm gonna have a lot more than just words for you if you do."

Behind Hibiki, Dysnomia drew her thumb lazily across her throat for the pilot to see. Just a squirming little hateful animal. She played with the idea of putting them out of their misery right now and sparing everyone listening to his hateful simpering.

It was Rose, in the end, who distracted Dysnomia from thoughts of homocide.

"When we're done 'ere we should hang."

"Hm?" Her gaze turned toward Rose. "Oh, great!...Well. If you'd like." She studied her fingernails in a paper-thin facade of indifference.
Ritsuka Fujimaru Thankfully, Jeanne doesn't seem too interested in addressing the Reihunter further, although she does seem mildly bored when he doesn't reply. Her attention drifts to Dysnomia and Hibiki instead, the former to see how she'll respond to his provocations, and the latter for mentioning her own conversations with the Reiblood.

"It's not completely wrong, but you do you. You look like the type to be dumb enough to make it work."
"Was that a... Compliment?"
"Halfway. I think? It's a new record."
"It's not a record! Tch."

Zero's reply to Ritsuka, meanwhile, has the sole human of the trio grinning in return with a firm nod. "We can't blame you for wanting to make sure things don't get out of hand here and end up threatening your home. But... Trust us! And if we end up becoming like you way down the line, then that just means you've got more allies for whatever comes next. Like..."

"The Adjudicator?" Mash asks after Reihunter namedrops something ominous sounding, and the three all look over at Zero and Belial for elaboration. Belial grants just that, and Zero drops another name, causing Mash to fidget somewhat uncomfortably. "Are these two that are coming allies?"

She pauses, looking over at Ritsuka who gives her an encouraging nod. "... Um. Or are they generally unfriendly to planets in these kinds of situations? Will there be enough time for testing Belial?"
Ishirou While things clean up on Earth... towards the space where Belial was looking the sky in that direction slowly will brighten.  Something is coming...

And it holds the authority of the Land of Light.

Out in that direction, a single bubble of light travels at speeds that are incomprehensible to those who could view it.  It also does not travel like something that is affected by gravity.  Its Ultraform is mostly blue.  Silver face, and it looks...

Peaceful.  In one hand he wields a staff of pure light, and in his other hand, he holds a sphere that is gold and blue mixed together.  It is traveling a far distance...

However, it is an example that time is counting down.
