Stelle The Fall is, often, a quiet place. Often joyous with a streak of mischief. Not spooky, spoopy. The smell of spices, baked goods and apples often wafts through the trees, mixed with the scent of wood smoke. It's cozy. Comfortable. A fantastic place to visit.

That's what the Antimatter Legion thinks. Though, they don't exactly think. Most of them don't, anyway. Creatures, beings that seem to be somehow robotic with cores of violet energy begin to swarm through the woods of the Fall. Some of these are built like men, with limbs and a head, wielding weapons, but their armor is very ... polygonal. Some of them are literal floating orbs. Some of them are even centaur-like, with a vaguely equine lower body, with the torso of a humanoid grafted to it. Certainly very alien and strange.

They are also wrecking up the place. Beam weapons fire, arm blades chop. Anything living in their path is run down. Trees, dwellings, objects, nothing is safe from the wrath of the disciples of the Destroyer. Stelle, being hip to these kinds of things, is already charging through the forest, fighting whatever she can catch. She's not important now. What is important is that the call has gone out, asking someone, anyone, to come help chase these things away!

Are you bad enough dude(ettes) to stop the Antimatter Legion!?
Sarracenia      The kingdom of Sundew is not all that far, and a call for heroes is all Sarracenia needs for an excuse to go adventuring. The tall, red-haired princess flies in onboard the Dyna, a wooden twin-engine VTOL and surveys the area quickly. She lives with piranha plants, so saving ghouls and things is just a step away from that.

A megaphone deploys from underneath the Dyna and Sarracenia calls out, "Stop this at once, foul creatures! This is your only warning before Princess Sarracenia Sundew rains wrath down upon you!"

Naturally they do not stop. So, gunports open along the sides of the Dyna, and missile deploy from the wings. Both fire. Bullet Bills fly languidly down into the mass of evil monsters, explosing powerfully on impact. The missiles fly much faster, aimed at stopping the tide before it reaches more houses and innocent monsters. "Nnng...there are so many..."

The princess notices Stella, and moves to form up above her, unleashing more Bullet Bills and missiles in the process. "Hey! Up here! I am Princess Sarracenia! Do you know where these creatures came from?"
Desire Stars EARLIER

Fall is one of the most richly colored places in the Multiverse. That makes it perfect for a photo shoot, so says Ace Ukiyo's agent. Cans of a new cranberry soda are on hand, and one is *in* hand--Ace's. Standing in a pumpkin patch which overlooks a field of orange-gold-brown canopy, he strikes a pose for the camera. His outfit is no less suited for Fall--a light brown wool overcoat in window-pane check over a slightly darker double-breasted suit jakcet, with matching pants. A burgundy turtleneck ties the whole affair together.

Lighting and set dressing is done, and he has time for two, maybe three shots, each with a different pose, before a startled scream wipes the smug smile off his face in an instant. The photographer is saved an untimely demise at the hands of an arm blade thanks to a very timely flying kick from Ace.

     "Mr. Ace, it's not safe!"

"I'm not leaving until all of you are safe. Get going," he says, fluidly juking a retaliatory swipe.

NOW

With the last of the photo crew gone, Ace had pretended to leave. Instead, he faces down a squad of oncoming Legionnaires as they emerge from the treeline. A strange belt with a bulky black rectangle slightly larger than a human hand rests around his waist. The center of the belt bears a circle, and in the center of that circle, there's a small white token bearing the stylized visage of a fox in red relief. He holds in one hand what looks like the cylinder of a revolver, with a grip and trigger attached--the Magnum Buckle.

     Ace inserts the Magnum Buckle--

                                  Set! MAGNUM

--and turns to the left, his right hand swept in a circle and held before his downturned face like a performer reaching for the brim of his hat. With one knee slightly bent, he turns his head towards the Legionnaires, extends his hand, and snaps his fingers, activating the Buckle with his other hand. "Henshin."

The trigger pull causes a red crosshair to materialize at his right, the word MAGNUM superimposed over it. A swarm of six red orbs bursts forward, striking the oncoming Legionnaires, before they double back and strike the crosshair. This changes the crosshair into a disembodied white breastplate, pulled via hardlight mechanical crane arm onto the matte black armor that's formed on Ace's--Kamen Rider Geats'--body. His face is concealed by a white-red fox mask.

                                 MAGNUM SHOOTER!

A white handcannon with a red charging bolt and a black scope appears in Ace's right hand, quickly leveled. It barks and bucks in his hand as he feathers the trigger, blasting the approaching Legionnaires white white-hot, heavy projectiles.
Corona Arclite It doesn't take long for an anomolous intrustion and a call for help to attract attention from those of the inclination to get involved in such things. Though as the din of defensive combat descends upon the location not every arrival is likely to be noticed.

Not until a shot rings out from amongst the trees. One shot doesn't seem like much.... until it hits one of the entities, and explodes in a vibrant plume of smoke and fire larger than one would expect from a bullet.

Then Corona is likely to be noticed striding between the trees, smoking bolter-esque handgun still held outstretched in front of her. "Well now, Ah reckon this is one of the strangest stampedes Ah've ever seen." The foxy cowgirl pauses a moment to adjust her hat, and fires off several more shots in quick succession that have the bombastic effect. "Ornier than'a nest of hell hornets and thrice as ugly!"
Aidan Proudpick A place like this is nostalgia. It's always apple picking session. It's always pumpkin season. Sometimes he can sit here and remember Quicknest as it was. Aidan's fit is down to a simple thrift store hoodie and jeans, as well as his green to white to green scarf. He has a cup of apple cider. That's Cider, the actual stuff, rather than the thick apple juice most others think of.

It's quiet. Aidan can feel nice, at ease, and away from being... bullied seems too childish to Aidan, but he can't think of a better word. He can stroll, he can smile.

A tail shiver. An ear flick. The squirrel turns his head to focus on whatever is coming down the street, shading his eyes to see them. "Suffocate ME."

A car bounces on the road as Aidan leaps off of it, a brief flash of red giving him the momentum to soar into the air. A twist, a twirl of the body, his tail twisting with him. The Aegis ROARS to life as Aidan brings it down on top of a Bullet Bill, exploding it in mid air. "Princess! Be careful! This is still a populated area!" He twists along his middle, arm out, and a flash of red energy roars around him as he surges away from the Dyna once again.

A sudden drop, another twist of the tail, and his shield comes crashing down in a harsh swing for one of the centaur heads.
Futaba Nuki Visiting the various regions of the multiverse is a fun, if oddly infrequent exercise for Futaba. A proper ninja hero can't be complacent with just making sure her own people's home is safe, after all, and visiting new places is just the thing to keep her mind sharp and ready for whatever odd things might pop up from time to time.

Trying to figure out what to aim for next has still been lingering on her mind, however, ever since her last adventure with the cat child and the sun. Acquiring new weapons? No, that'd just water down everything else she could do. Challenging someone huge to a show of strength? No, that'd be too self-centered. Fighting against an unknown enemy force and tracking them back to their source?

That one could be a maybe. After finishing a pit stop in a different section of Fall and eating her fill of weird pies made by monsters, the tanuki princess hears the timely call for assistance, and she hurries towards the designated region. It doesn't take long for her to arrive where the Antimatter Legion is already wrecking up the place, running low to the ground with both hands held together and moving rapidly through various hand seals in her approach.

"Hey, you're... That lady from that school! And that princess from the... Computer! What's the deal with these guys?" She shouts while sprinting right past Stelle and Sarracenia, leaping into the trees to springboard off a branch and launch herself into the air. It's all for the purpose of making her scarf flutter dramatically behind her, finishing off her hand seals with a clap of her hands before pulling a flaming katana right out of her palm.

"Surrender now, jerkof-WADS!" Close one. "This place is under ninja protection now!" Futaba bellows out as she slams the flaming blade down at one of those humanoid-shaped creatures, then dashes for one of those floating orbs to flip herself over it, scoop it up with the crook of her arm, and roll it forward into her hand to shotput it right at another one.

She shifts just as easily from throwing maneuvers to excitable jumping and gawking, of course, when she sees Kamen Rider Geats in action. "Another one?! Oh hell yeah... Think I could get your autograph later, Mister Ace?" Futaba calls out as she slides her katana's sheath out of her pouch for a moment just to let him see it, then slides it right back in a moment later.
Xion Fall is a wonderful place of beautiful and perpetual autumnal spreads. Not as prime in the month of March as the coming of Spring, still, and Winter's grip, Fall is still an important place in the balance of seasonal energies across the whole multiverse.

Which is terrible, because it's under siege from weird beings swinging violet energy-flames and starry-bloom burns across reality!

Xion had been minding her own business at home (in her very geometric and white room) reading a book on her bed when her phone buzzes besides her and emits a particular sound of dread.

Kupo-po-po!

Xion places her finger down on the call button and flicks up for speaker. "Yes?" She begins, barely getting the long 's' syllable out before her phone starts bouncing and emitting puffs of steam. "Xion it's a huge kupopping problem! Kupopoh, the *Antimatter Legion* are back!"

Xion flutterblinks, placing her finger into her book and folding it shut, looking at her exaggerated phone vibration. "Mog that's not a thing. They can't be 'back', I've never-"

"Listen here, kupiche? Lis-ten. The Antimatter Legion going to destroy Fall!" The phone bounces as it goes. Xion hops out of bed to find a coat (in her closet of dozens of the same coat) despite not fully understanding the problem.

"That doesn't really sound doable--" Xion continues, doubtful, as she pulls an arm through a sleeve.

"They're basically the Heartless, kupopo." Mog grumbles.
"Well why didn't you say so???" Xion counters, now hurrying.
"Not everything *has* to be kupoing *like* the Heartless!" Her phonemoogle dealer complains.
"But if they are!!" Xion persists.

ON SITE:

Xion, in black coat with hood down, black tights, and black boots, leaps through the surface of a black backdrop with a clinging ripple of mascara black peeling off of her from transition through the Corridors of Darkness. She lands in a crouch among an abandoned photoshoot under attack -- from Princess Sarracenia Sundew's artillery (probably not going to destroy Fall), and...

"Oh dang." Xion states, seeing the marauding Legion torching the place with beams and blades standing up straighter and sweeping out her right arm to her side. Her fingers close into a grip, and a metallic 'shwink!' and glitter of lights forms a blue-guarded and black gripped length of matte silver-steel topped with a key-tooth shaped like an empty star. Turning the handle and letting the keyblade fall across her shoulder, she hears the loud report of a Kamen Rider transformation, and turns in time to see Ace's shooting approach, grinning.

Taking a running start, Xion leaps into an aerial two-handed down-sweep to the Legionnaires Ace shoots, rolling into a tumble under his precision fire and joining Futaba with a rising slash. The sweeping trail of her blade bonks and klonks with cast-out round-edged stars, and despite the cartoonish-seeming nature of it: It still cuts like a blade!

"These guys really ARE like the heartless, huh? They're just here to ruin things!" Xion observes, as if she didn't literally get called and told about it.
Stelle The creatures don't seem to be entirely mindless, but they seem to be hostile to literally everything. If it feels alive, they want to destroy it. Some of these things are even wailing on -trees-. Though, when the cavalry arrives, all attention seems to shift in a weird wave towards the defenders. Though some of them crumble immediately under the barrage of Bullet Bills from above. When they ... perish(?), they seize and then collapse in on themselves, leaving nothing behind. A trio of the orbs rotate, aiming their openings upwards. The strange armor plates orbit the apetures and launch blasts of energy up at the airship.

Ace's arrival, in Kamen Rider style, draws the attention of one of the big, centauroids. It rears up, bullets pinging into it's armor/hide, annoying it and pulling aggro directly. One of its' arms, upon closer inspection, is a bow. It draws the bow back, energy swirling and looses an arrow of raw power at the Kamen Rider.

Aiden's dynamic entry aids Ace. After the energy arrow is shot at the Kamen Rider, the squirrel sails in with his shield burning to life, striking at the ... vaguely head-shaped area of the Legionnaire. It makes a terrible, inhuman, anti-alive noise and whirls, moving to give Aiden a brutal horse-style double kick.

Corona comes in blasting, as one does. There are a lot of guns here. The explosive ordnance deletes a couple of the orbs, drawing the attention of one of the humanoid beings. It rips across the space between them, leaves whirling into a vortex in its wake. As it closes to melee, it lashes out with its arm blades in a double strike

Futaba is a skilled kunoichi. She appears and strikes out in a flurry, putting her flaming sword into one of the humanoids, but she flits off before finishing it off, chooising to instead command grab one of the orbs to hurl back at its injured friend(?). Touching these things feels off. Wrong. They are...not correct. Not proper matter. Still, the orb strikes the injured one and they both anti-explode, collapsing in on themselves in a flashy way. Too bad another humanoid tries to blindside the Tanuuki!

Xion plays Backup Queen, aiding Ace and just flitting through the combat zone, laying out some punishment and helping the group of defenders! Xion earns the attention of a floating, silver-grey Legionaire. It looks at her, and she can feel that there is at least -some- intelligence there. It lifts a finger to point at her, launching a bolt of ... nothingness at the Keyblade wielder.

Stelle, for her part, is hitting things with her bat and trying to manage on her own. "They're the Antimatter Legion!" She ducks a blade swipe, gripping her bat with both hands and swinging for the fences. "They serve the Destroyer, they just like to break EVERYTHING!"
Sarracenia      Those lazors lance upward, and the Dyna is hit. It shudders as wooden panels break off the sides and it catches fire. Sarracenia huffs. "Gregory! Take over!" can be heard from the megaphone. Then, a side door of the Dyna opens and Sarracenia leaps out. "Of course I am being careful!" she calls out to Aidan. "I do not just throw explosives around willy nilly!"

She leaps from the Dyna and with a twirl of her hammer rides the head of it down, an energy field forming around her like a comet falling. She aims for one of those centaur creatures. The area close around her explodes with enough force to send the smaller Legionaires around her flying. And hopefully crushes that centaur creature in the process.

Ace's transformation draws her attention, and the princess moves to join him, Stella, and the others. She spins her way toward them, the huge hammer she carries working to clear the way.

She also misunderstands what Corona said. She scoffs. "Now is not the time to talk about such things! Especially in front of a princess! How do you even know how ugly hornets are when they are...frisky?"

Futaba calls out, and Sarracenia shrugs at the question of these guys' deal as she swings her hammer some more. "Apparently they are just...anti-life!" she says before blinking. "Ace? Are you the one Petra was talking about a moment ago?" she says.

Sarra is fairly certain she has met Xion before, but it has been...a very long while if so. The keyblade releasing those stars on a hit has Sararcenia's eyes sparkling. "H-hey! How is your weapon doing that, and how can I get mine to do that?"
Corona Arclite Several of the orbs explode. It gets the attention of one of the more weapon-wielder shaped Legioneers which bares it's bladed arms as it turns to charge towards her. "Now didn't yer mamma ever tell y'all not to run with sharp objects?" Not that these entities likely have actual mothers. Certainly not by the brief infodump Stelle gives on the matter. Good that it's short, Corona doesn't really have the time to spare for a proper lore dump at the moment.

The first slash comes and the wily vixen kipups back, barely avoiding it's arc. As soon as her boots hit the ground she jumps again towards one of the trees, only to kick off of it at the same time the second slice is coming. The blade *CHNK* into the tree, pinning down a piece of fabric and light protective weave it snagged off her duster tails to the trunk. Torn off, fortunately, so she's not caught. Evident as Corona leaps over it's approximation of a head.

During her parkour acrobatics Corona quickly trades her larger gun for a pair of more standard pistols. Using the twisting through the air align herself and fire several bursts at the entity's back hopefully before it can turn around. The dual duelers aren't as potent per shot, but their quick firing combined with Corona's deadeye aim are a lot more precise even during such mobility stunts, making sure every possible shot counts in making up the difference.

Corona skids slightly as she lands lightly, ejecting the empty mags and then performing a flashy twirl and holster action.

... And just sort of side-eyes towards Sarracenia, though she's hardly surprised by more posh people getting confused by her accented speech.
Desire Stars      Geat's fox-derived visage, with its wide, red lenses, is focused on the big centaur type as soon as it emerges. "Whoa now," says Geats, his upper body juking right as he narrowly avoids the crossbow bolt. It's like he's been doing this for years--the bolt strikes a tree behind him, forcefully enough to strip the bark and core the wood beneath. He wastes no time taking off, breaking into a sprint, seemingly ill-advised and straight towards his larger, tougher opponent.

"That's some serious firepower," he says, making a last-minute sideward salto that sees him instead flying gracefully for a tall, wizened oak tree. Mid-leap, he pulls out the frame of the Magnum Shooter, then removes the Magnum Buckle from his belt and affixes it just past the grip. His feet impact the tree, affording him just a moment with his newly transformed--

                                   MACHINE GUN!

To line up a shot. As he slides down the trunk of the tree, Geats holds down the trigger, a constant stream of white lasers spewing from the barrel of the Shooter. It's a smokescreen, the prelude to the real attack that happens when he hits the ground. Pulling the red charging bolt at the back of the weapon--

                                  BULLET CHARGE!

Geats fires a three-round burst, braced with his back against the tree for good reason. Each round is larger than his head, packing a significant punch and exploding on impact.

The appearance of being cornered--or at least, having one's back to a tree--draws attention from rank and file. Xion's assist earns her an upnod and a little 'hmh' of appreciation.

Ace? Are you the one Petra was talking about a moment ago?
Think I could get your autograph later, Mister Ace?

"That's me. Anything for a fan," says Ace, rolling out of the way of a blast and returning fire with a controlled burst of his own. Rising back to his feet, he charges in to fight shoulder to shoulder with Xion, repaying her earlier assist with some of his own. Despite fighting up close with a long gun like that, he seems just as comfortable--an arm blade is turned aside with a parry using the Shooter's extended barrel, the momentum funneled into a straight kick before he shoulders it for a quick point-blank burst.

They serve the Destroyer, they just like to break EVERYTHING!

"Seems like they have a preference for living things," he notes, fading for one of Xion's attacks before coming right back in with an advancing roundhouse.
Futaba Nuki Seeing Xion's blue, black, and silver keyblade gets Futaba to let out another excited noise, especially when they end up performing an impromptu team-up attack. Unlike the keyblade, her katana only lets out fire and more fire, but the sheer amount of visual effects must surely be impressive, even from a distance! It's a wonder Futaba's eyes aren't worse, with how much wide-eyed staring she's doing.

"These guys really ARE like the heartless, huh? They're just here to ruin things!"
"They're the Antimatter Legion! They serve the Destroyer, they just like to break EVERYTHING!"

"The Heartless and the Antimatter Legion, eh? Hmm. Those names ain't half bad, but if that's their angle..." Futaba grunts lightly as she slams her katana-holding fist into her open palm, scoff-smirking when she sees her first two targets going down. "They've got another thing coming. Think we can-"

Wait. Something's off. Futaba had felt it when she had scooped up one of the orbs already, but it doesn't really click until she hears their name again. Does that mean she shouldn't get too close? Perhaps sensing that she might be in danger if she let her guard down, she twists her head around a full 180 degrees, spotting an incoming humanoid coming right for her!

"Too slow... Too slow! You've gotta be faster than that if you want to take a ninja down!" Shouting fiercely at the oncoming humanoid, Futaba launches herself in the air in a series of unnecessary flips just to evade that attack (completely with red scarf flapping about all over the place). As he comes back to the ground hands-first, she springs off them to deliver a double-booted kick at the humanoid to punt it upwards.

"That's me. Anything for a fan."

"Thanks! Let's wipe these guys out quick, then!" With her flaming weapon in hand, she flicks it up into the air lightly before reaching into her pouch and pulling out... A spaceball bat? It looks rather similar to the one Stelle uses, and she wastes little time in slamming it right into the handle of her katana, sending it flying right for that Legion creature while she's still got it airborne.
Xion "That doesn't seem like a very reliable form of society!" Xion calls back, her disbelief disappearing once she's actually on location with the Legion. Breaking stuff to look tough is an understatement!

They just reek of, and exude as flame, the power of Destruction. Flipping and rolling about the forest gives Xion a good path around the ones that Geats shoots, and the noirette is unafraid to shoulder roll around the forest floors of Fall. Distracted, momentarily, by Sarracenia's question, Xion runs up a treetrunk and hangs on the side, hooking into a branch with the star-tooth key and twirling there. "Well -- it's a Keyblade! It just does that? Aren't you a Princess? Why don't you get a weapon that emits stars? Getting one of these is maybe a little more trob--ah!!"

Zotted by a bolt of void energy that she doesn't sense, Xion is blasted off the tree she's on, cast uncontrolled to the ground as swordwoman, star-sword, branch, and a good chunk of the tree goes up in antimatter smoke.

Hitting the ground, Xion snaps from an uncontrolled 'oof' to a same-instant recovery, isoporting in space and bouncing off a rereadied hand to kip into a leaf scattering ready.

"Well they have the firepower where it counts!" Xion calls, echoing Geats. "And there's a whole *Legion* of them? Or is that just a name??" Switching from two-handed grip to one handed, the tip of Starlight drops to forest floor as her left hand comes up, brandishing a hotrod red and divider line white medallion in her hand featuring a white-helmeted Rider. "It doesn't matter. I'll track and eliminate all of them -- at Mach Speed!"

A dangerous dark stormcloud appears over Xion, churning in a moment into a sooty exhaust-black smog. An engine in hot overdrive sounds internally, pushing the red line as a sound, revving up and roaring within the cloud as it crackles red lightning, and then booms with a transferring blast over Xion. Silhouettes of wheels plate over the fraying and transforming of her black coat from Nonbinary Nomura Battle-Hoodie to a wheel-shouldered leather biking jacket, the sleeves striped in hot red to cool magenta fades. Across the back, despite displaying some sort of blue and white anime superbike situation, has an underscroll for 'Harley Hendrickson'. Her shoes, as well, have transformed into heavier motorcycle-wheel themed boots.

The cloud above dissipates, but a hot aura surrounds Xion, crackling red and thrumming with the unlimited power of the internal combustion engine at a roar. Barely picking up her sword and leaning forward, she disappears in a smearing blur of red speed and a 'nyerrrrRRROOONN!' peel-out approach-sound. Ace gets his wish of a juicy target to take big shots at when Xion goes for Round Two on the wispy shooty Legionnaire that shot her with a high-speed combo delivered entirely in flashes of motion-connection.

A crackling swing of her sword to waist, two handed and wild in spin-out--
--an already falling pivot kick from the other side--
--a scissorkick Hell Sweep with boot-zoomers!

Between and accenting each, a loud 'vroom! VROOM!' with a truly obnoxious insistence.
Aidan Proudpick Two hooves? Two feet at the end of appendages lash out. Aidan's comes down in a slow arc, pushing the one of the hooves out of the way. Only for the other to strike Aidan squarely in the chest. Pain like hot fire sprouts from the center and radiates outward. The wind rushes out of his lungs, his heart skips a beat, and he hits the ground in a rolling tumble. Enough awareness in his mind to push himself back up. He throws Sarracenia a thumbs up, unable to think of anything to say back to her that wouldn't sound condescending.

Aidan catches a sight of Kamen Rider Geats out of the corner of his eye, both ears twisting that way, his head following. Like most in the multiverse, there is a fascination. Because they are just so COOL. They make everything they do look so cool!

A hand out flat, a rush of breath, and a wall of wind appears behind Aidan, a translucent white solid plane of air. Then again, another rush, his palm out flat, and a wall of wind rises on the other side of the Legion. "Wait, is she a Kamen Rider too? She's so breezing amazing!" Another thrust out of a hand outward, then a rise of a wind wall.

A battleground suddenly takes shape, a swirling cage that keeps the Legion from boiling over into the surrounding area. But also herds the Legion together.

A portable kill zone.
Stelle Futaba gets her own Spaceball bat. It's super cool! Cool enough that Stelle swaps on the fly. She shoves her bat Elsewhere, and instead draws from nowhere a massive orange lance. "Awesome!" The bad news is that when she goes back to hitting the hell out of the Legion, there is a LOT of fire. This might be a problem. Maybe not.

Sarracenia descends from on high like a furious meteor. She impacts one of the centaur-creatures, and it implodes violently with an anti-light flash.

Corona dodhes and weaves in a way that only a truly living being could. Graceful and quick, her gunfire pelts into the being, staggering it.

Geats, following the trend, unloads immense firepower upon the Legionaires, blasting the offending entity to nothing before he moves to help out Xion. Or is she helping him out?

Not that she exactly needs it, with her own speed and power, she juggles the offending Antimatter creature, throwing it up into the air for Ace to shoot. It too collapses into nothing.

Futaba, with her newly minted Spaceball bat, lays waste to a number of the little ORBs. It's light and strong and hits nukes all day. The King of JUCO would be jealous.

Aidan comes in clutch. Wind rushes through the woods, pushing and herding many of the legionaires into one single corraled spot. The good news is that they're all clumped. Perfect for fireballs.

The bad news is that they all seem to concentrate fire and unload a terrible, searing blast of, well, positron annihilation as their antimatter natures are unleashed for real on reality.

This might hurt.
Sarracenia      'Aren't you a Princess? Why don't you get a weapon that emits stars?'

Sarracenia huffs at this question. "Because princesses of my world are not suppooooosed to fight like this." she says with sarcasm and a childish pout.

     'Anything for a fan'

Sarracenia is not sure she is a fan yet, but she can't really complain about Geats's fighting style. Big gun. Fancy moves. Good style. And he isn't rude? That's a very good start. She can't help a smirk of appreciation.

Aidan proves he is helpful once again, keeping the enemies all bottled up. Sarra's smirk turns to a grin. "Perfect. Thank you Aidan~" she says, then grips her hammer firmly.

A prismatic sparkling aura forms around the head of the hammer, then flows down the handle and soon down Sarracenia's arms as well. Steadily it overtakes her, causing the hem of her dress and the ends of her hair to float slightly. The glow fills her eyes and her teeth clench. "You all might want to stand back. I am not the best at aiming when I do this." she says, her grin turning a bit more sinister. "Here we go...it is...Hammer Time!" she exclaims.

And suddenly she is hammering away like her weapon is some sort of demonic artifact. She swings up and down fast enough that her weapon is a blur and strong enough that each impact creates a small shockwave.

She charges into the blast, her hammer swings actually knocking back the antimatter energy that comes her way. Then, she charges into the ranks of the Legion, plowing a path. It is clear she is hardly in control of herself, perhaps not in control at all.

The hammer fever lasts about half a minute, and when it passes Sarracenia stumbles and falls to a knee, leaning on that hammer and panting from the effort. And...just maybe has a bit of a maniacal grin on her face. She really does love causing a good bit of destruction.
Futaba Nuki "Whoa... You can turn yourself into stuff, too?!" Futaba calls out to Stelle, apparently excited by the mistaken notion that she might be looking at another shapeshifter. She turns her tail into a huge pipe briefly, but showing off her ability to truly blend into a quarry will have to wait for later.

There's still the Antimatter Legion to handle, after all, and they start doing something she can't quite understand just by looking at them. Are they glowing? Pulsing? Transforming into a more fearsome form? Without really knowing what they're doing, the best Futaba can do is make her best guess at how to defend against their waves of concentrated firepower!

Step 1: Shrink. Being a smaller target should help her maneuver around something aimed right at her!
Step 2: Harden. Turning into the strongest thing she knows (some kind of silvery substance) should help withstand any parts of the attack she can't avoid!

Transforming into a silver-like substance proves to be far more effective than changing her size, as the wash of antimatter sends Futaba hurtling back and through someone's house waaaay over there. Thankfully, being smaller means she doesn't obliterate said house on the way, although she's still a little dazed while pulling herself back up (and apologizing to the house's residents).

Instead of just running straight at the Legion's forces, however, Futaba opts for a heavier and speedier approach. Once she's back outside, her tail turns into a motorcycle, and she does a quick wheelie while pulling out of the town to get right back into the fight.

"Antimatter Legion! That one wasn't bad, but you're gonna have to do a hell of a lot more than that to take me down!" As Futaba builds up speed on her tail-based motorcycle, she drags her spaceball bat-facsimile along the grassy ground, inexplicably sending sparks up to make her approach that much more menacing. She starts speeding all over the place while whipping that bat at Legion orbs and soldiers alike, cracking them over heads, at center mass, and into orbs with both momentum and raw power on her side.

Eventually, however, Futaba leaps off her tail-motorcycle, subtly drawing it back/reverting the transformation back into her tail and withdrawing her fiery katana once again. With bat and blade in hand along with her tail turning into a weird boxy machine, Futaba resumes sprinting once again! While she tosses herself every which way to pummel and cleave into soldiers at a rapid clip with her handheld weapons, the boxy thing that replaced her tail fires off lasers just as quickly, the blasts doing triple duty as covering fire, actual targeted shots, and pushing her forward all at once!
Corona Arclite Know when to walk away, know when to run.

The words come to mind when Corona sees the enemy forces amasse together their attack power. Followed by an utterance of "Sunnuva" under her breath and a more vocal "INCOMIN'!" as the vixen turns to run. Not to flee, but to appropriately take cover. After a few sprinting strides she skids to a stop, changes directions and dives through the doorway of one of the remaining structures. She's rolling facefirst into the ground just as the Antimatter Legion unleashes it's combined fury in destructive demonstration of why they are named as such.

It really only spares her from direct exposure.

Countless blasts slam into the side of the building, causing it to explode. With enough of a shockwave to whip Corona off the floor and slam her into the opposite wall fast and hard. This is one of the times being light and nimble has it's downsides.
With one wall blown out and the others damaged by the blast it's no real surprise that the rest of the structure promptly collapses in an avalanche of wood, stone and mortar that doesn't get obliterated by the intense blasts. The resulting crash rings cacophonously through Fall, until the last bit of rubble drops and tumbles to the ground, followed by an eerie silence.

Then a bit of rubble moves again. Wood shears and stones split as a 'blade' of plasma slices through the debris, Corona using her wrist mounted cutting torches to extract herself. Tail lashes to keep her balance as she climbs out onto the structural remains, battered and bruised. The tattered remains of her duster flicking about her, one of the lenses of her goggles cracked apart. She shakes dust off her stetson as she stands and puts it back properly on her head.

"Awright, fine. That was a purdy extravegant display." Corona reachs into her very deep bag of gadgteer tricks and pulls out weapon of retro-scifi style that ends in a fixture akin to a tesla coil and antenna rather than a muzzle as she hefts it onto her shoulder like a bazooka. "But now it's my turn. Time to trip the lightnin' fantastic mudder fruckers!"

An electrical thrum fills the air as the weapon consolidates ambient energy and charges it through it's length. Electrical arcs hiss and crack along it, bringing a blistering blue-green glow to the coils on the end of it.
Which erupts in a massive bolt of superheated plasma, a thunderous boom in it's wake as it roars into the Antimatter Legion in a thunderstorm of electrical fire!
Desire Stars      The longer the fight goes on, the more it seems like Geats has been doing this his whole life. It might even seem like he's been doing it longer. An experienced fighter notices not just the intent of the opponent, but subtle shifts in the state of the battlefield. The slight lull of just a second, the way that their focuses all shift, tells him that the Legion are--"Building up for something... time to move!"

He breaks into a wild sprint, removing the Magnum Buckle from the Shooter and placing it back into his belt. The HUD displayed on his visor blinks red at the edges, as a swath of destruction chases hot on his heels. *They won't be able to maintain it for long--just have to outlast and counterattack...!* But of course, the nature of attacks like that is that it's much easier to make them than to evade them.

Geats makes a last minute...cartwheel? He flips the rectangle around his waist, which calls out--

                                   REVOLVE ON!

As a circular track appears around him, mid-cartwheel. His armor slides along that track, until the Magnum cuirass has become articulated white leg armor, and his upper body bears the unadorned matte black that his legs had before. It's just enough to keep him from being completely overwhelmed by that antimatter blast, and the trail of destruction behind him is more than enough to testify to what his fate would've been.

"Now," he says, as much to the Legion forces as to his present allies. "Here comes the highlight." His chin bobs upwards in a little gesture of challenge to the Legion, before he converts the shooter back into a--

                                    HANDGUN!

--and runs at a full sprint into the thick of it. Feathering the trigger, his shots are precise, finding where the weakest spots are, be it the head, the core, or even going for disarms by targeting arm-blades and crossbows. Upon getting into melee range, he leaps into the air, as a mounted cannon on his right greave pop out and blasts the ground, propelling him into the air for a dazzling overhead spin-kick with the left leg. Just after impact, the left greave does the same, the high-force projectile launching geats and driving the Legionnaire down in one blow.

Propelled high into the sky, he twists into a nimble pirouette, pulling the charging bolt on the hangun-form Shooter and spinning the cylinder of the Buckle on his belt.

MAGNUM VICTORY!

With a pull of the trigger, Geats conjures a giant red hardlight cylinder below him, the black chambers bearing a curious resemblance to magatama beads. Dipping into a fluid frontwards roll, he levels himself with the cylinder as he falls. A flying roundhouse kick aimed towards the first chamber sets it to spinning rapidly, before six explosions spew six giant white fireballs as Geats falls gracefully to the earth.

The projectiles break into smaller parts, each one heading for a Legionnaire, zipping around Geats and his allies harmlessly in a frenetic, parabolic dance, exploding to the last. The polychromatic trees and ground canopy of leaves are briefly illuminated by a canopy of fiery explosions, as Geats lands in a graceful crouch.
Aidan Proudpick Aidan hefts a big thumbs up towards the airship. Good enough for now.

The air around Aidan sputters into a dark energy as the energy beam roars to life at Aidan. It consumes all matter in its path, simply breaking down the air it passes through into separate particles. A quick squeak rolls out of Aidan's mouth before he brings the shield forward. The lion's head on the Aegis suddenly roars to life, spewing energy from its maw. It seeks one thing.

The energy envelopes Aidan as if he were a clone soldier hiding attempting to hide in a cardboard box, consuming him entirely. The land around him, the air, only the beam of energy prevails.

Somewhere across the middle, the dark beam suddenly bulges, rippling outward into a sphere, spinning out until it breaks apart. The energy spirals across the face of Aegis, sliding off the sides of it, getting caught up in the veil of energy that ripples around Aidan, flowing like a fine waterfall around him. Rather than lash out, Aidan keeps going, the Aegis picking up speed as Aidan travels in a straight line. Red energy swirls from the front of the shield, forming red and yellow lines as it trails behind, finally covering Aidan - hanging on for dear life - in the guise of a comet. The air around the legion ripples out, a subtle tremor before the true earthquake.

The back wall of Aidan's make-shift Dividing Driver battlefield collides with Aegis, whining, stretching before the air ahead and behind Aidan gives a mighty baBOOOOM! of a sonic boom.
Xion Xion feels like she's doing really good! Xion is filled with the overwhelming, invincible feeling that the Dead Heat power conjures in the heart, a chest thumping adrenaline flush. She knows this as 'good' and also 'danger.

But, she's used to it. She's used it before, a lot. It's just...

A little hard to outrun a wall of annihilatory force when it sneaks up on you. After air-juggling the wizard-like floating Legionnaire, Xion lands in a spinning crouch, posed as the creature disappears. She looks out for someone to grin to-- but nobody's smiling her way. Looking behind herself, she sees why.

Dropping out of a suddenly-spawning portal gouting with antimatter flames a full camera transition away from the leading edge of the blast -- somewhere near Geats, Xion drops to the ground and rolls, muttering quietly to herself. "I know I'm borrowing some of his speed and most of his lines, but do I have to borrow his luck as well? Showing off is hard work,"

Xion, lifting her eyes to Ace - Kamen Rider Geats - and hears a different white-and-red rider's catchphrase, scoffing despite herself as Geats runs right into the thick of it. "Are they all like that?" She interrogates no-one in specific, backstepping to her feet, and then leaping again, disappearing into the trees with a retreating 'Vroom--!'

From above Sarracenia in the trees, the Legion drawn by her 'cooldown' period have one single solitary tire thrown at them!

Bounce, bounce, bounce, goes one normal tire, rolling into the Antimatter crater.

Then, like a hundred choppers rumbling down the Fall forest Freeway, a rain of falling tyres wreathed in special effects crackling red and pyrotechnic flames wave down upon the Legion just passing harmlessly over Sarracenia's head. Like a wave of rubber lava that cast cascades of toku sparks, the deadly wave wastes tree, terrain, and Legionnaire alike!

When it's done, Xion appears besides Sarracenia, Starlight slung over shoulder. "Hey. You okay, Princess? You might want to figure out that hammer of yours."
Stelle Stelle is, at this point, picking off stragglers who Aidan didn't manage to wrangle. Her cackling is audible over the raw violence unleashed upon the Antimatter Legion, pillars of fire erupting where she strikes. She's fine.

Meanwhile, everyone teams up and brings their everything. Lightning, fireballs, bullets, magic, katanas and Spaceball bats. Rider Kicks and so, so many motorcycles. Everyone's power is brought to bear against the forces of Nanook the Destroyer. Everyone lets their heart shine as they defend this place from the needless predations of those sword to Destruction.

Overwhelming force from the Legionaires is met with even more overwhelming force from the defenders. THe corraled beings vaporize and implode from the sheer damage dealt by everyone. Centaurs, orbs and humanoids implode to nothing, not even leaving scraps of armor behind.

Fall is, for the moment, saved. Casualties are low, damage is ... well, it could be worse. And somehow, Stelle has managed not to set the forest on fire.

It's a win.
Corona Arclite Corona Arclite lowers her weird science weaponry as the enemy forces dissolute. The battle ends in victory and most of the forest still intact. Lives saved and buildings can be rebuilt.

The vixen exhales as she readjust her hat. "Ah reckon the only problem is those interspacial varmints ain't got the brains to learn from a big ol' frack 'round and find out." She deposits the weapon back into her inventory arsenal and climbs down from the pile of debris. Trying to not to groan too loudly as she bumps tender spots on the way down. "Gonna need a mighty night's rest b'fore tryin' to put this place back together tho."
Sarracenia      Geats's attack is quite flashy, and reminds Sarra of a few of her own attacks, though hers is not nearly as flashy. She contemplates this thanks to the earlier conversation on the radio.

Futaba's is also quite flashy! Fire and lasers are certainly eye-catching! Not to mention Futaba is still a tanuki, which is both cool and cute! She will have to talk to Futaba more.

Aidan's sonic boom makes her cover her ears even as the princess continues to catch her breath. "...and I'm the one that isn't being careful...?" she mutters to herself.

Sarracenia turns her head enough to look up as those bikes and tires fly over, then toward Xion as she speaks to to Sarra. Sarracenia smiles a bit smugly and stands up, still looking a bit winded. "I am. Thank you. You are...Xion, I believe? I am Princess Sarracenia Sundew. As for this hammer of mine, I have figured it out. But, that does not stop it from draining me a bit when I use it at its full power." she says, then hmms. "I will have to look into some way to make it produce stars on impact." she muses softly.

She approaches Stelle after that. "Do you fight these things often? If so...I would be happy to join you in any such battles. It is not often I can simply unleash on mindless enemies."
