Evette     Hecmatika, fittingly meaning 'new light' in a long dead language native to this world, is less a city and more a very large island suspended in the midst of space. Or that's how it would appear before touching down on its surface, anyway; once one has passed through the light fuschia barrier at its outskirts, an atmosphere would seem to appear magically, though clearly tinted by that same colored shield. The sky has breaks here and there where one can easily see through to the space beyond, though, demonstrating how tenuous this small nation's hold is on the few gases remaining that are capable of sustaining life.

As for the island proper, things are surprisingly green. Grass cascades over hills that end far too abruptly at the extremes of the continent. Mosses and flowers grow with abandon atop every man-made ruin, of which there are many. Each seems to be made of similar metals, most of them ivory in color. Now and then one might encounter one of the many gardening robots that meander about, collecting any refuse they find that is compact enough for them to carry, or some of the native animals. Very few of these creatures are hostile to humans - indeed, most of them are far too small to stand a chance of winning in any sort of a confrontation anyway - and many of them are even curious enough to approach visitors should they be allowed to do so.

Excepting these, some fish may gather near massive metallic gates, also covered in an assortment of mosses, that border the few rivers of the area. On occasion, these floodgates will open, allowing water to waterfall down toward a metallic ball - the AGHC you'll hear some of the locals speaking of - so that it may be redirected to places more in need of the elixir of life.

And speaking of the locals? Humanity has made a life for itself here amid the budding nature: the carcass of an old factory has been hollowed and demolished, and its old walls now serve as the protective barrier between the city proper and the outside world. Inside can be found many shacks pieced together out of the scrap accrued from that monolithic undertaking. The turbine of an old airplane, for example, has been somehow fashioned into the back of a clock that rests atop a tower of the town's largest building. Warped, blinking neon lights on the same building announce its status as the mayor's residence. Other, similar buildings are strewn about as well, such as a general store whose roof is made from a multicolored sheet of welded metal, and a florist's shop whose pots have been fashioned from ancient paint cans.

A warp gate rests at the very edge of the region, as does Evette. She's resting on the back of a fallen, mossy log. Some people in plastic suits, presumably guards from civilization, are there with her. Each one would greet the newcomers with smiles and animated waves, though they would wait until all had arrived to address them in full. Evette would pick up their slack in the meanwhile, shouting hellos and shaking hands in supplement wherever she can.

Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako walks through the warp gate humming softly to herself. Once properly through, she blinks her eyes quickly and then takes a long look around. "Heeh? Pink, huh?" And then glances down at her fluffy winter clothing with another glance at the very-not-winter surroundings. "Hmm... don't need this here..." She reaches down to the lower edge of her fluffy coat and pulls it off over her head. She's wearing her 'normal' clothes underneath? Wait. But her hair ribbon changed color! She rolls up the coat and stuffs it into her star-shaped purse-which also wasn't there a moment ago when she had her coat on. Probably best not to think too hard about it!

Ayako then turns towards Evette and waves hello cheerfully to her. "Hello Evette!" And walks over to her with a slight skip to her step.
Eryl Fairfax      Eryl hadn't forgotten his orders. Be friends with Evette, in hopes that her knowledge could benefit ReGenesis in restoring his world. So, here he is, stepping from the warpgate. He politely smiles and bows to the people clad in plastic suits, as well as to Ayako. He then greets Evette, shaking her hand. "Miss Evette. Good to see you again."

He does mean that, despite being ordered to be her friend. His world did not exactly breed earnest, enthusiastic people, so meeting such people always made for a refreshing change. He begins to look around. The atmosphere is very... pink. Original Face buzzes a little in his head, but because he already got a glimpse from the station where they found Evette, that helps a little to convince it that everything is fine.

But this place... so much green. His world is a wasteland of dust, so seeing so many plants just warms his heart. Although clearly, things used to be even greater, judging by the ruins here and there.
