Chloe von Einzbern It's late night at Dun Realtai but that surely does not mean everyone is asleep. Oh no. Not Chloe von Einzbern.

Though she's sure dressed for bed, in a set of very festive jammy bottoms and a breezy shirt, bed time is not now. If anything, she's up late. Almost like she's waiting for someone. ... Because she is.

Seated by the stairs up to the guest rooms, Chloe waits, idly twirling Kanshou in hand in an idle and lazy manner.

Just waiting.
Illya von Einzbern Illya eventually shuffles up the stairs from the great hall. She's yawning ferociously, stifling the large action with the back of one slim hand as Magical Ruby flutters over her head in a generally encouraging manner. Someone was out late.

(This isn't unusual.)

"Uwwhhh... I just want t'lay down..." She whines.
Chloe von Einzbern And that... Is exactly who Chloe had been waiting for. In her hand, the short-sword is almost an extension of her very body, and that means she twirls it with extreme ease, nimble and dextrous fingers making the blade dance with small flickering glints of light along the razor-honed edge. Though it vanishes quickly enough when dismissed, as Illya starts making her way up the stairs.

It's only after the silver-haired girl reaches the final step does Chloe announce herself.

"You're a hypocrite, you know that?"

It is a blunt, and very direct 'greeting'.
Illya von Einzbern It is unsurprising that Chloe is waiting for Illya with a blade, and it is unsurprising that Illya's instinctive reaction is to immediately grab Magical Ruby out of the air, the Kaleidosticks wings fluttering furiously in the double surprise of Chloe and then getting grabbed.

Then Illya remembers where she is an exhales. No fighting in Dun Realtai. She glowers at Chloe, her red eyes widening.

"What makes you say that?"
Chloe von Einzbern To be fair, Chloe was bored. Playing with knives works as a semi entertaining passtime, but even she knows not to disregard the laws of Brehon hospitality that the castle falls under. Bedivere would be furious- and funny as it was the first time, he is still not a man to be crossed repeatedly.

"You can put your glitterstick down, what are you going to do, shield me to death?" She jabs, hands lifting to display empty palms. Though knowing her they can get un-empty in an instant, she is not here for aggression at least.

Not physical anyway.

"Oh I don't know, let's see." Murmured with one finger tapping thoughtfully to her lower lip. "It might just have been that whole 'I want to go back to my old life' thing you said, back then at home."

Looks like she's still not over that.
