Shigure     It's not every day that a Fleet daughter gets--- PPFFFTTTT haha, sorry, can't finish that thought with a straight face. Kuma took the Navigation Fairy out again on patrol... and promptly got lost. Again. She's ended up in safe waters though. "Nnnn, Are you sure this is the right way? It was night a minute ago, kuma~." the light cruiser grouses softly. The little fairy standing on the superstructure backpack just shrugs, and slaps the compass again, letting it spin before holding her hands out to it. She then points in an arbitrary direction, and Kuma groans. "One more try, okay? Then I'm launching the seaplanes, kuma." she grumbles, turning and skating in the indicated direction, her boots kicking up a slight wake behind her.
Cirra Constantine     Recent events have brought Cirra to seek time... away when she's off duty. Gaurding the Prince is more stressfull now, by her own fault. It's not the PRince himself that makes it so, but the situation.

Be that as it may, The Judge Constantine stands on the shore of ... the lake/sea of Njorun. She's wearing her armor since she doesn't know this place, including her helmet with the big mean looking horns and the red visor. She stops briefly as she looks out to sea.

"...is that person skating on water?" She asks the air, or Landon if he hasn't found her pressence incredably awkward.
Landon al Cid      Landon *has* found her presence awkward, but that doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy it. It's a complicated thing, adulthood - relationships pressing down on you are hard enough when you have concerns of state and family honor to worry about. Teenagers can make a mess of life just fine without such problems.

"I believe so, yes," Landon replies with a cheerful, enthusiastic air. The Extraverse was a big, neat place, full of big, neat things. All sorts of things were possible. It made him feel like an explorer of old, one of the big, romantic personalities out of book and stage, sweeping in to brave the unknown or make first contact with another plate, or...or...

Well. Never let it be said that the Prince didn't have time to be a child at heart. Arguably that was the crux of his problem around Cirra, too.

     "Marvelous, isn't it?"
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason is still stunned by the scale of the construction here the amount of manpower to make such a palce as this. Givien her bacoung she's just stunned at this place this isn't a plaza this is a hume made /plate/ that's what it really is when you get down to it. She also ws aware of the water and had been tempted to go for a swim as seriously?

Lyria had come here on her own but had noticed Landon and Cirra whom she made for she was happy to see a few people she knows.

"Landon1 Cirra! Good to see you both..."

She trails off as she sees Kuma and she grins a little bit.

"I think that is...!"
Shigure     Kuma grumbles, as the Navigation fairy seems to have just given up and gone to sleep. The cruiser-girl huffs a sigh, and turns then towards the shore, after spotting some people. Lets go ask for directions!

Kuma skates all the way up to the shoreline, then steps onto dry land with a hop and a skip as she bleeds off speed. She was moving pretty quick! "Ah, hello, kuma! I'm the Name Ship of the Kuma-class Torpedo Cruisers, Kuma, kuma! You don't know where this is, do you, kuma~?"
Cirra Constantine     Cirra's seriousness and LAndond's childishness do conflict sometimes. But the Judge is trying to pay attention to whats infront of her.

Which is a young girl-ship-person asking for directions.

"Ah" Cirra pauses, "This is Njorun station." she pauses again, Kuma?

"You are the ship girl on the radio then?"
Lyria Mason "Ah Kuma!"

Lyria recalled her from that search and rescue mission a while back. She looks to her with a big old grin on her face. Given her people's virtual marriage to the seas was it anywonder seeing a spirit of an actual ship was amazing to her. On Landon and Cirra she was never sure about the ture relation betwen the two and it wasn't her place to poke about that.

"It's as my friend said it seems you wandered into a friendly habour at least."
Landon al Cid      Landon takes a moment to watch the ship-girl shed speed. He's seen a lot of Levitani craft behave similarly - he's actually quite fond of Leviathan, and spent a lot of time there as a child, and HAS been spending a lot of time there now as an adult - so he has a pretty god idea of what's going on. Landon looks over at Cirra with a wry smile and lets her take the lead for a moment. He's already made contact with some /pretty/ weird creatures.

He nods, distantly, at Lyria. "Good day, Lady Mason. Yes, I believe that this is Lady Kuma. Or...the good ship Kuma. H.M.S. Kuma? I'm uncertain, in truth, how to address a ship."
Shigure     Kuma giggles a bit, snapping a salute. "Yes, ma'am! Kuma at your service!" she looks at the fairy snoozing on her superstructure. She reaches back, and nudges her on the nose /very/ gently with the tip of a finger. This makes the tiny girl jolt, roll off the backpack only to get caught by another pair that were hidden within the housing. "Navigation Fairy getting me lost more often than normal, kuma~. But at least it's friendly waters, right, kuma?" she beams happily, then trots over to peer at Landon a bit. "Mooooh, just Kuma is fine, kuma~. Or if you want to be formal, Flagship Kuma the great and powerful, kuma!" she strikes a pose, trying to look intimidating... but the gangly shape of her body just makes it kinda comical.

Lyria gets a happy wave after a moment of that. "Hi~! I remember you from the convoy, kuma~! Good to see you again, kuma!"
Freya The ground shakes as someone appoaches from the distance, it's a girl and she is huge! Proably the tallest thing aroud here other than the main tree. She stop looking around hmming to herself, mabye she's lost.
Cirra Constantine     "I see." Cirra says as she reaches up to pull off her horned helmet. "Flagship Kuma the great and powerfull." silver hair spills down her back once her helmet is off. Ice blue eyes are look at Kuma, and she smiles faintly. Despite common beliefe, Cirra /can/ understand a joke.

Then the ground shakes, and the Judge turns to look in the direction it's coming from as it gets nearer.

"Giants." She mutters. As if her job wasn't hard enough.
Landon al Cid      "I'm certain it'll be alright," Landon assures Cirra, "This is a heavily-defended outpost, isn't it? If there was a problem, we would've heard alarms."

"Good day, then, Flagship Kuma the Great and Powerful," the Prince adds, taking her hand and kissing it politely, because, man, who on Ramuh could say they'd done something like *that*? He rises. "I am Prince Landon al Cid, Heir Apparent of Ramuh. It is my pleasure to make your acquaintance."
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason :looks to Kua for a moment and does think about what Landon said how do you properly address a ship's spirit.

"That could work well if you like that.":

She notes to Kuma as Freya shows up, she turns her head and just /stares/ that's one big lady one very big lady there.

"Flagship Kuma the Great and Powerful, I'm Lyria Mason, Daughter of Yoko Masopn CEO of Serpent's Tail Shipping."
Shigure     Kuma blink... blinkblink. "Uh... Kuma was only joking!" she says, flailing her hands a bit at /everyone/ starts calling her that. Oh man, if Nagato caught wind of this...

"A-Anyway, I'm, trying to get back on course, but... Well, Navigation Fairies aren't exactly reliable at the best of times, kuma."
Freya Freya spots Lyria staring and smiles and lightly waves back. She freindly most of time. She didn't hear Cirra muttering, and she the only giant in the Union, that she knows of anyway. She looks over the group for a second pondering something then sighs to herself and turns and looks in another direction.
Cirra Constantine     "Yes, I'm certain." Cirra replies to Landon. They would hear alarms across something the size of a continental plate. Then again, maybe they would.

"It's alright Kuma, we were just playing along." Cirra looks at the navigation fairy. "Then why use them?" she asks. "If they're not very reliable."
Landon al Cid      "Quite. Don't worry. We thought we'd simply play along," Landon assures Kuma along with Cirra, exchanging a glance with the silver-haired judge.
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason looks to KLuma's reply at what Lyria thought might be her title and then again who knows but there was no mean spirited to what she saud. FReuya meanwhile is getting another look over for a moment.

"You seemed to enjoy it and don't feel bad about it Kuma."
Shigure     "We can't use Human navigators, kuma!" replies the ship girl vehemently. "We wouldn't have anywhere for them to stand and look at maps and stuff, kuma~." she adds, flailing her arms to emphasise the point. "They're unreliable, but they're all we have to rely on, kuma!"

Freya receives a happy little salute from the shipsailorgirl, before Lyria pipes up. "W-Well, I'm not a Flagship... th-that's Shoukaku's position... I'm one of her Escorts... normally, kuma."
Cirra Constantine     Cirra hmns, with a frown. "I hope they're doing they're best then." she looks down at Kuma, noting all the ship parts.

"Kuma, I still don't udnerstand what you...are. Do you dress like a ship like a MAscot? OR were you born with this power to glide over water?"
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason says "Still being an escort for the flag ship is still an imporant job I'd way, right?

She's heard Kuma and her fleet mates talk about what they were but it's her right to explain it she thinks. The last thing a Levitani wnats to do is get a ship mad at them.
Shigure     "Um... Kuma was laid down in 1918 at the Sasebo Naval Arsenal..." she replies, blinking a little in confusion. "Kuma is Kuma... that's all there is, kuma!" she adds, breaking into a beaming smile. Maybe she doesn't really know herself? Or she's just happy-go-lucky. "Kuma uses Outfits to battle the Abyssal Fleet." Shinkaisei-kan. "Along with the other Fleet Daughters, kuma!" Kanmusume.
Cirra Constantine     Cirra looks equally confused, "Laid down?" she doesn't quiet understand, "So you are... a ship that has taken the form of a girl?" Cirra slowly in hales and lets it out in a sigh, "The Multiverse really doesn't stick to any one idea does it?" Still, Kuma seems a nice enough...person.

    "Outfits?"
Landon al Cid      Landon smiles. "It's a great madhouse of ideas. It's not really a wonder why so many of our people fear it so. But if you notice, there are patterns. They're strange and alien, but they exist. Nothing stands *completely* on its own. Even in the Union, full of mad and wild people from disparate and bizarre worlds, there's still a kind of pattern."

t He taps the side of his nose. "We just...have to keep an eye open, don't we?"

"What is the Abyssal Fleet? I've heard you make references to it several times."
Shigure     "Outfit!" she turns around, and shows off the arrangement of metal on her back. The turret, smoke stacks and a set of walkways with Fairies walking along them, ferrying ammo from her Magazine into the turret assembly. "This is my Land Outfit... I can use an Ocean Outfit but it's... for extreme conditions." she says, turning back around and beaming happily.

That smile doesn't last very long when Landon brings up the Abyssals... "Spirits of dead ships... they rise from the darkness of the sea to bring death to anyone living on the Surface." she's somber as she speaks, looking over her shoulder and out across the sea/lake. "It's kinda sad... they only know pain and rage." She sighs, then shifts to sit down. "... kuma~."
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason pauses for a moment at Sira and nods a bit at her offering a helpless shrug.

"No it doesn't from worlds to no magic to things right out of fiction. We'll never lack for adventure or a chance to make a name for ourselves!"

She seems excited about that.

"So the angrty spirits of lost vessels...can there be anything done to put them to rest?"
Shigure     "Secretary Ship Nagato is probably better equipped to answer that..." replies Kuma, looking over at the Levanti woman.
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason says "I'll have to speak to her then about such, my people are tied deeply to the oceans and seas of my world...I don't like thinking of ships if they ahve spirits being in torment like that."
