Owner Pose
Wally West The Confederacy owns the Caverns of Prophecy and Wally has been-- staying out of this war. The only way he is going to get involved in this war is if someone contracts him as Drift and slaps down a sum of payment. Like the Union has done to come and try to 'snipe' this place out from the Confederacy.

The evening was clear skies, beautiful stars, and a full moon. It was quiet out and the sensors didn't even pick it up. What didn't it pick up? A black-red streak that suddenly rushed by in a blur of speed and knocked some of the guards out. Bolted up a Guard tower and KOed another guard, before getting on the intercom at the base of the mighty mountain, "Hello. Yes. Hello. I am here to evict you guys." Drift says with a grin over his face. "So if you want to make my /life/ easy and yours, please just pack up your things and leave. Thanks."

Was this guy serious?
Sarracenia      As Drift finishes his little speech, someone emerges from the entrance to the cavern. A princess by the look of her. Dressed for the bitter cold weather this mountain encourages in clothing that looks very warm yet still elegant and carrying a very large hammer. A hammer that looks larger than she is. And she carries it as if it is nothing.

"Alright! Whoever you are, you have just interrupted the work of the great Princess Sarracenia Sundew, crowned princess of the Sundew Kingdom! Prepare to face my wrath!" the princess exclaims loudly enough that it might cause an avalanche. Then, she reaches into her purse and ruffles around before pulling out...some sort of cute-looking bombling with big white eyes and a turnkey. She winds up, then throws it toward the tower. When it impacts, it explodes rather violently in a small but intense burst of fiery destruction.
Wally West Drift suddenly notices the Princess as she comes out from the cave and just /stares/ at her, after he makes his peace on the radio. He has a job to do here, he knows that, but why do so many of the gals have to be /evil/. The really good looking ones.

Why cruel Universe?! Why?!!

Though the universe answers his questions by suddenly an exploding toy. The Speedster is caught off guard by this and gets blasts out of the tower. His body slams across the ground, skids, and then he flips back up on his feet. He watches as the rubble falls around him and has to quick step a few pieces. "Look-- I don't like hitting a woman!" Drift yells across to her, "Its really hard for me to decide right now what is more worth it.. the money... or a woman.."

He makes a few hand gestures as if trying to decide this and then just slumps. "..This sucks.." He then looks up at her, her reflection in his visor, "I'll make it up to you later, alright?"

Though he doesn't stay that way long, because in a blur of motion he has moved from where he was, to another location. This being a bit of a run away, then he comes right back in and starts cyclone around the rubble.

Just what is he doing? Becomes obvious when suddenly all that rubble comes spewing right at her like hail from a storm cloud!
Sarracenia      Sarracenia smirks as her bob-omb blows Drift right off the tower. "Ha! Take that! That is what you deserve for interrupting a beautiful princess in her work!" she calls out. She listens to his reply, then hmphs. "You could make it up to me by-"

Her words are cut off as she is positively buried in rubble. There is a shriek as the first few pieces hit, then she disappears beneath the debris, one hand sticking out through the rubble. She is still for a few moments before...her fist clenches, then there is a light rumbling before the debris explodes outward. "Gaah! Huuh..how dare you throw debris at a beautiful princess!" she cries out before she reaches into her purse again and yanks.

This time, a blow with POW scrolling around it. She tosses it up in the air, then leaps and hits it. Once. Twice. "Make it up to me?! How?!" she demands even as she hits the block again. And the entire mountain bucks upward for just a moment. Just about anyone and anything touching the ground at that moment would be hit with a damaging shockwave. Needless to say, Confederate troops are yelling at the princess after that, but she doesn't seem to care.
Wally West A shockwave rocks the ground, but the thing about being able to mover fast is, you can outrace many things and that is what Drift does. With each shockwave the Speedster rides over it as if it was a bump to step over. He can see the force ripple across the surface each time, moving his steps in sync with the very event.

To the Princess it may seem like he is ignoring the very physics of the universe as he runs around. He then stops up with a great deal of speed that may blow some air past her to ruffle up her clothing and hair as he leans there against a rocky surface next to her.

Her face reflected in his visor. He has a big grin on his face and one hand on his hip. "You know, maybe you-- me-- a dinner for two. I'm being paid pretty well for this, but before I can take care of a beautiful lady like you," He shrugs helplessly, "I got to make a good impression. Who knows--" He then goes to stand up straight, "--Maybe you'll even want to hire me later to get this place back!"

Then he is gone again in a snap of a finger. Then he comes back with a bolt of speed that if she isn't careful, she is gonna get swept off her feet by the sheer velocity of him passing by.

Its even hard to say if he goes to make contact with her or not to knock her off balance, but it isn't a nice force!
Sarracenia      Princess Sarracenia blinks when Drift just...she doesn't even know. He just...ignores the POW block! "What the-?!" Then he is right there in front of her! She yelps in surprise and jumps back a few inches. "D-don't do that!" she demands, then blinks again. "Wait...I...I'm beautiful...?" she says softly, seeming surprised to hear someone actually tell her that. She mmphs, then plants her hands on her hips. "I-I mean, of course I am beautiful!"

Then...he is gone again! And the next moment she is flying off her feet, her dress fluttering in the wind along with her hair. "Eeek!" She goes rolling across the ground before she smacks into a cliff side. She lets out a pained cry before holding the back of her head. "O-oooooow!" she whines.

She mmphs, then gets back to her feet quickly. "Alright...how about this?!" She reaches into her purse again and pulls out...a little tanuki doll! She grins, then gives it a hug and in a puff of sparkles and smoke she is in a full body tanuki suit. She runs toward Drift, trying to time it...then when she thinks she is in his way, she leaps into the air, ducks and in another puff of smoke there is a solid statue in Drift's way, flying right toward him!
Wally West There was smoke then suddenly-- STATUE! "CRAP!" Drift barks out before his body slams into the statue at high speed. Once he makes impact, he ricochets off to the side, before rolling across the ground. Part of the fabric of his skin-tight suit is cut up, with clear bleeding on his arm and part of his chest.

"..Not bad." He says with a soft chuckle. Though with a roll of his shoulders, he pushes off with his foot and actually comes right at her. There was a flicker of red lightning around his form as he kicks it up to almost breaking the sound barrier and then goes to snag her by the raccoon tail.

Taking what he has already seen, this lady was made of some pretty tough stuff. So now time to test what she was /really/ made of. This meant once his fingers grasp hold, he uses the momentum to try too spin her around, before releasing.

She may go flying unexpectedly-- and perhaps into something with all that velocity as well.
Sarracenia      One bad thing about turning into a statue. You can't move. So, Sarra is easily caught and spun around. And just her luck, her statue-transformation ends just as she is about to impact a solid wall. There is a heavy crash as she impacts, ending up plastered upside down against the rock. As soon as she hits, her tanuki suit disappears in a burst of smoke, leaving her in the winter gear. She is wincing heavily and trembling with the pain, and in a classic cartoon fashion she slides down the rock before crumpling on the ground. "...ow..."

It takes her a few moments to get back to her feet after that one. "If...for some reason...I do not win this...you will owe me dinners for a month!" she screams before she hefts her hammer and charges at Drift! Then, she swings, but well before she reaches him. That was just so she could start her hammer dance. Soon she is spinning like a top, that hammer threatening to crush anything that gets near her. Even a single hit from that hammer would be devastating, much less a series of them!
Wally West Drift comes to a halt and crosses his arms over his chest. "A month? Seriously? I hate to say it babe, but I can barely feed myself for a week. So that isn't going to work for me.. and imagine-- we could probably had something amazing."

When she starts to spin herself up as a top and come at him, he is still just chilling there. "I guess I'm to much of a downtown man for an uptown gal like yourself. Shame that, would have love to gotten your name and number."

Its as she is about to make impact, does he suddenly go to match speed with her hammer swing, then he kicks it up, faster and faster. Eventually if she doesn't bail or find some means to prepare herself. She may find herself being lifted right off the ground in a cyclone.

Then he goes to break the cyclone and waits to see what happens next. Will she fall? Will she be thrown into the rock face? Did any of those rocks that may have gotten picked up slammed against her? In truth the results of this fight is making him frown a bit.

He really hates fighting with women...
Sarracenia      As she realizes she is being lifted off the ground, the princess stops her hammer spinning. But now she is spinning because of a cyclone! And being lifted up in the air! And she's wearing a dress! She yelps and quickly holds her hands so that her dress won't get blown upward in the front. But then the back blows upward! She moves one hand back, so that just her legs are being exposed. "Put me down, you ruffian! No one can see under this dress except whoever my hero might be!" she shouts before...clunk. A rock smacks her in the head, sending her somersaulting through the cyclone and falling to the ground. She lands on her feet, but only just barely and ends up stumbling backward, panting with exhaustion. Somehow, she isn't bleeding from that impact on the forehead. She must have tough skin or something.

Once free of the cyclone, she lets out a frustrated cry. "Everytime I finally get some time in this place, some jerk comes and messes it up!" She is feeling a bit weak, but she still has a few tricks in her purse! She pulls out a cute flower with big innocent eyes and petals that constantly shift between colors, making it look like it is burning. She pokes it, and like the last item it disappears in a puff of smoke and sparkles. This time, she isn't in a new outfit, just different colors. Fiery colors. And when she starts thrusting her hand at Drift, dangerous looking fireballs come bouncing toward him! If they hit a vertical surface, or Drift, they explode!
Wally West Wally should not have stopped. He knows better from his days as Kid Flash under Barry Allen and the other members of the Justice Legaue-- and yet-- he stopped to make sure honestly the Princess was alright. So when he realizes she is, Drift smirks. "You are a pretty tough lady and don't worry-- I didn't see what color your--"

Drift didn't even have a chance to finish what he was getting ready to say as suddenly fireballs were coming his way. He bolted around a few as they exploded around him. However one blasted right in front of him, tripping him up. This in turn lead him into another like Super Smash Brothers, and blasted him straight back.

The Speedster goes flying back and straight into a tower. Glass shattering around him as he goes through one way, then right out the other way. His only thought as he was falling was that he was not getting paid enough for this-- that and what kinda pizza he was going to order tonight.

If he even have the money /to/ order pizza-- cause if he doesn't get some food in his system after this....

Drift impacts the ground, his body bounces in the air, before slamming down again. He rolls over to his side and coughs. Then slowly, yes, slowly, he pushes himself back up to his feet.

He groans a bit and then goes to stand up. The earlier cuts he took are actually healed back up. Though he has gained new ones and checks his lip, which has a bit of blood on it. Huh. That will probably take a few hours till next day to be fixed.

Drift rolled his shoulders and shook his legs out. "You know, you keep going on about this cave-- so I got to wonder..." He then bolts directly for her, a dirt cloud kicking up from the sudden acceleration as he come rushing in. "What is so important about this place!?" He roars out, though not in anger or frustration-- but just to make sure he is heard as he actually breaks past more of the exploding fireballs and goes right in for her.

"Also sorry about this!" As soon has he says that, he then goes to flip kick her in the air, before leaping up and actually kicking her off into one of her own fireballs that has yet to explode-- Yeah-- you can figure he is doing all this in a blink of an eye.
Sarracenia      Sarracenia grins as Drift goes flying. "Yeah! Got him!" she exclaims happily. Then he crashes into a tower, and she winces. "Ouch."

As Drift comes running back in, he has to dodge plenty of fireballs. But, that doesn't stop him, and when he reaches Sarracenia she is easily kicked upward. She lets out a pained little cry as her head snaps back from the kick and sends her up in the air, then another as she is kicked toward her fireball. Of course, as she is kicked her fire flower power disappears, but the fireball is already launched. She lands right on it and it explodes against her, sending her rolling along the ground and causing her clothes to catch fire.

"Gah! Oh no! Not my lovely winter dress!" she cries, then quickly pulls another item from her purse. This time, it is a strange turtle doll. She quickly hugs it, and in a puff of smoke and sparkles she is dressed in black armor. Well, really just a black helmet, a black backpiece like a turtle shell, and a black front piece of the same style. And again, it replaces her clothing, so it might come across as a bit more...risque than intended. In her hands she has two smaller hammers than the one she had before.

And the reason for that becomes clear quickly when she hurls both at Drift, then immediately there are two more in her hands, which she also hurls. Soon the air is filled with dangerous flying projectiles that promise plenty of pain if they hit! "These are the Cavern's of Prophecy! They can tell the future! And I want to know what future I might have with what hero!"
Wally West The Projectiles come and Drift has to move quick. He bolts between them and spring around a few. The only problem he is starting to have is, well, he is running low on energy. He has been banged around, smacked about, and none of that is helping right now. Combine that with the body just running out of fuel to burn...

Drift does a slight misstep as his world almost goes dark on him. It was enough to almost cost him as one of those projectiles goes skimming by, striking him with enough force he almost gets thrown into another one. The Speedster slides down low to go under it, before he gets back up on his feet and bolts around her once more.

"Why do you want a future with some hero? They are sort of overrated! Trust me on that!" Drift then back flips as another projectile comes his way. Though as soon has he lands he spins his body around with enough force to break a piece of of the mountain side off and kick it right in general direction.
Sarracenia      General direction is not good enough in this case! Sarracenia ducks down quickly, and even though the rock impacts her, it hits the hard shell on her back and shatters, falling harmlessly around her. She giggles, then stands. "What do you know of heroes? You are nothing but a mercenary!" she yells at Drift, then charges toward him.

"I want a hero because...because all the other princesses of my world have one! It is how they know they are loved by their people! How they know people accept them! How they know that there are others willing to risk their lives for them!" As she runs, she keeps throwing hammers, then as she nears Drift she suddenly curls up and becomes a human cannonball, rolling right toward him!
Wally West Drift's eyes narrow behind his reflective visor when she implies he doesn't know anything about heroes. "Lets just say I grew up around the greatest-- and realized how much a joke that was." He says with a cold sound in his voice and a mild frown on his face.

Though he can't explain long as the Princess of Hammers is already on the attack path again. He bolts around the thrown hammers, getting glanced by a few and having to suddenly back flick from a few others. He actually stumbles and gets smacked hard in the shoulder, before suddenly getting slammed by the Princess herself as a cannon ball.

The force is enough to knock him back and there may even been a slight crack as the impact probably broke a rib or two-- at least maybe fractured one. He grits in pain and staggers back up to his feet. "Heroes are pretty worthless. They are just media blitz and their lives mean nothing, beyond how many viewers the media can make off them when they /die/." Drift sneers a bit, the ground actually shakes under his feet, as his body seems to shake on a harmonic level. "Sure, when they are alive-- the public loves them.. but its all a fraud!"

Drift breaks the ground as he shoves off, "Sorry babe! But there is no /true/ hero in the world! Just lies to make the people happy!" As he leaves the sound barrier is broken. All That force comes straight at her shell-- not so much at her-- and he goes to use all that force to either crack the shell-- or send her flying.
Sarracenia      Sarracenia seems genuinely taken aback when Drift says that. "Wh-what...?" Then, whack! She is launched forward by a huge impact to her shell. She is sent flying, and with no way to stop herself, she smacks face first into a rock formation and shatters it. There is a puff of smoke, likely her item being popped, before the rocks fall down around her.

Things are still a few moments. It seems like she might have finally been beaten.

Until there is a thud from inside the rock pile, and several of them are smashed outward. Apparently by the princess's large hammer, since she emerges holding it. She is panting heavily by now, and she actually has a bit of blood running down from above her eyes where particularly sharp rocks hit her. "You...you know nothing of heroes! If you grew up around the greatest and you think it was just a media stunt, then you are either a fool or he was not the greatest after all! Did he save no lives? Did he avert no disasters? Did he inspire no one to greater things? If he did even one of those things, he was a true hero! And you are just a particularly strong mercenary!"

She plunges the head of her hammer into the ground, then sets her purse on the top of the handle before reaching in with both hands. "I do not even wish you to make anything up to me if you have such a dim view of heroes!!" she screams as she pulls both hands out, each holding a bob-omb. Which she throws. Then quickly reaches in and pulls out more explosives and throws them. Each time she reaches in, it seems like she draws a different explosive device. Fuse bombs, timed bombs, bob-ombs, missiles, grenades. If it can explode and cause damage, she probably pulls it out of her purse and throws it at Drift.
Wally West Drift comes to a hard stop and he nearly drops down on his knee. His hand coming up to rest on his forehead. "..not now.." He whispers to himself, before he can hear her yelling, and glances up about then to see her getting ready to probably do something crazy.

"....." He had no real words to express, beyond the straight face and the seemingly dead stare. Yes, Barry Allen /was/ a hero. He saved lives, gave up everything-- /everything/-- and for what? All for what? He should be here right now...

..but that was selfish thinking... right?

Though about the time he can compile his thoughts together, there are bombs coming his way. The explode around him and he gets blasted back by the mess of them. With a grunt, he tries to push himself back up. The visor at last cracked, his suit cut all up and blood dripping on the ground. "...you.. don't know anything..." He says with a soft hiss.

"..but at least.. you have," a faint sad smile comes on his face, "..an untainted look at them.."

He does try to push himself, up, to run, but he ends up stumbling over and just crashing onto the ground out cold. At least he wasn't arguing with what she had to point out.
Sarracenia      Once Drift collapses, Sarracenia waits a moment, then picks up her purse and hammer and strolls toward him. She looks down at him with a stern, snobby look, then sighs. "Hey!" she calls out, and suddenly there are pirahna plant people pouring out of the cave. They rush over to her, and she jabs a finger toward Drift. "Get him on a stretcher and on the airship. I doubt he has much of a support team." she says. The plant people look confused. "Hurry up!" They panic, then a set of them in nurse-style hats with red crosses run up, carrying a stretcher. They load Drift up, then carry him toward a nearby cliff.

Where an airship the size of a military cruiser, but made out of wood, floats up. Propellers for masts keep it aloft, and plenty more pirahna plants are on the deck. "Take him back to the castle and make sure he is taken care of. I will not be responsible for any deaths." she calls out to her henchmen, then heads back toward the caverns. At least, until she stumbles and realizes just how injured she actually is. She sighs, then heads toward her ship and climbs aboard. "I guess it will have to wait...stupid mercenary..." she says as the propellers spin faster and carry the airship into the distance.
