Wally West Its a nice day out in Urbania! Sun is shining, birds singing, everything is going wonderfully. Well-- was wonderfully until a commotion happens inside a store...

"That man stole my money!"

Yep. Things just got interesting.

Wally doesn't get caught often. He steals cars, food, cash. Whatever it takes to survive on the streets. However no record of him as being a criminal-- and why is that you ask, fans? Simple. He erases the data as if he was freakin' Batman... wonder where he learned that from...

A young red head, probably at least in his twenties darts out of the store inside a mall. Worse place to really be caught, because security is trying to move in on him. He shoves the wad of cash into his jean pockets as he runs and then leaps right over a bench as one of the security tries to grab for him. "To slow!" Wally lets out with a laugh as he keeps on running.

The hardest part for him, even more so right now-- was the fact he /didn't/ want to give away who he /really/ was. It be bad for business on one hand and secondly--

-- It would give away his hidden ID. You don't do that.. at all.

Sadly however, he has a pretty good sprint still. Something someone would expect for probably a kid on the streets and this was making it hard for the guards to keep up. Though over the PA its announced who people should avoid and even a bit of reward on those who /could/ aid capturing the thief.
Yunomi Stadler     Well, for someone who has a pretty good sprint, he might run into a little bit of trouble.

Yunomi Stadler had been in town, buying a few trinkets for the Izzet back home when she heard the call.

She turns, her practiced eyes tracking the redhead through the crowd, before she leaps up and into the air. Green mana swirls around her fingertips as she grips them into loose fists, and then shakes her hands out, and casts.

Ahead of him, Wally might notice breaks in the pavement, rumbling upwards with a haze of green smoke!
Finna     Well there's one person in the food court who probably is happy enough to not have to be leaving cash registers full of leaves. The Union's paying her fairly well for doing something crazy once in a while, and so she tends to spend it on things like, oh, say, two PERSONAL PIZZAS once every so often.

And no matter how much she pigs out she doesn't seem to gain much weight if any. because HIGH ENERGY GIRL, that's for sure.
Either way, she's just scarfing down one when a big ruckus of mall cops goes charging past and the announcement comes over.

Her reaction is LAUGHING. Which is bad when you're also drinking down soda.

"Huagh!" The end result is one Exalt momentarily incapacitated by BUBBLY CARBONATED BEVERAGE squirting from her nose and stuffing the pizza just... away somewhere. Elsewhere, maybe. "Eurgh..."

That might've been it, had she not seen Yunomi leaping above the crowds briefly a moment later. This one thing's enough to get her attention.
So this might not be some ordinary theft, huh? Best to look into it!

Soon, a white fox has joined the chase! Zipping down the halls surprisingly quietly...
Morgan Vale Shoplifting is sometimes the best way for someone who has no easy-accessible clothes to get clothes. But then, sometimes something more legal comes. Like a reward for catching a thief! One that'd let him rent a room at a motel maybe, even!

Which is what has Morgan Vale stopping from outside a clothing store watching the thief sprint away. Obviously, chasing after him from behind is an awful idea, especially when your arms and legs are chained. Instead, let's play with elements!

Morgan moves away from Wally, but in the same direction; despite the chains, they don't seem to be impeding his sprint at this moment, lengthening and rising to allow him to move. He's aiming to get to a choke point that the thief is definitely going to reach.

And once he finds one, he quickly ducks to put his hands on the ground. Ice begins to spread across the surface, as he simply steps away from the ice. This might get slippery.
Wally West Wally keeps on the move until suddenly a green haze blasts out in front of him, "Whoa." Then he finds the ground suddenly iced over; This means sudden loss of traction! The theif slides across a bit, until his foot impacts a piece of ground that got knocked up.

As the ball of his foot touches, he shoves off, and slides back up the ice, before rolling back up on his feet and leaping over another bench to get around the sudden haze. This means almost running into the white fox.

Which does cause him a momentary double take.

He ends up bumping into a person trying to get away and then having to slide around a security officer who attempts to get ahead. "Paying people to capture me? Seriously? If you guys stop eating all those donuts and fast food--" He then swings around another security and yanks off some keys. "This wouldn't be such a problem!"
Yunomi Stadler     Yunomi is no slouch. And she doesn't need to worry about the crowds, the girl in the jacket and khakis taking to the air and lfying above the passerbys. The cracks in the pavement receed, and Yunomi goes sailing over.

"Stop right there, bucko!" she calls out, and readies another round of green mana... wishing she had her goggles.

Always looked more intimidating with the goggles.
Finna     When the thief goes skidding past the fox, the creature with fur the color of snow whines and hops out of the way, nose twitching to get a good lock on the thief's scent - just in case he escapes.

And promptly, Finna SNEEZES. Scent's kinda familiar though!

So she scrabbles into action again and for her, the world blurrs!

The little creature's a blurr over the floor, stepping lightly and gracefully! And it takes a flying leap... aiming to land on...

    ... Wally's shoulder?
Wally West When Yunomi stays on him, he quickly steps around, his foot work to do so is pretty quick-- very coordinated really. His green eyes stare directly at her and they almost have a golden hue in them for a moment, at least until he smirks.

"Sorry, but I don't plan to stop for anyone." He says before he swings the keys right at her with a pretty good amount of speed-- almost inhuman speed.

Though as he goes to step around, that is when the fox is suddenly on his shoulder. This causes him to stare at the fox. "Seriously? You her pet?" He then goes to jump over another bench and is making his way for the Escalator. Seems to be aiming to head to the upper floor.

He /really/ doesn't know what to do with the fox.
Yunomi Stadler     He's quick, but Yunomi's kept up so far.

Until she sees the keys coming for her. She Blinks, and tries to raise a hand in time to catch it.

But things go wrong, and she catches the keys to the head. She goes down! Tumbling and eventually ending top-under-teakettle, slammed against the wall, spinny eyes and everything!
Finna     Pet, huh?

To this, Finna has one simple answer.

She simply licks the running man's ear, and then BLOWS INTO IT with every ticklish force she can possibly muster. Try to focus on running NOW!
Morgan Vale Where did Morgan go? After freezing the floor, he didn't chase after Wally, it would seem...

Because he was busy taking the elevator to the next floor. Dadadadadada~ dededededede~. Beautiful elevator music. When he reaches the second floor, he moves a bit down the hall from the direction of the escalators, and waits for Wally to approach. And then plants both hands on the ground. Instead of just plain freezing, however, something different happens! Frost spreads over the ground...and then spikes of ice begin to jut up from the frost, making it probably rather dangerous to walk on this part of the hallway. To note, Morgan isn't really paying attention to any mall shoppers. They can just avoid this stretch of the hallway for now! Or cut their legs and feet and bleed everywhere, their choice.
Wally West Morgan goes to freeze the area and down the Escalator just as Finna-- the fox-- blows in Wally's ear. "Aug-ngh-rr!" He then actually throws the fox, though as he throws her. Those spikes go into slow motion.

Including the people who are trying to get out of the way. Its all in slow motion for him really, but worse its a mild flash back to times before. To a super villain he and Barry use to deal with. A man whom had an ice gun.

Though people were getting out of the way, Wally could only grit his teeth at Morgan's antics. He suddenly flips out of the way as an ice gets /damn/ close to hitting him. Landing back on his feet as he slides a little bit. Then like a snap, that mental bit cracks as he yells at Morgan. "Hey asshole! Your going to get these people killed!! I can't be worth the lives of a person!"

His hand clenches tightly and only those with a train eye may see it momentary go out of focus.
Finna     With a squawky noise, the fox is hurled onto the escalator's guide rail. She finds the experience of MOVING FLOORS quite novel though, and is distracted for a good several secods by pawing at the moving rail. But the... ice.

    Ice flying EVERYWHERE.

With a screechy bark she's off the railing and oto the ground, landing nowhere special but locking eyes onto Morga...
Yunomi Stadler     Back in action! Yunomi shakes off the blow, and she makes for the escilator, zipping up on the rails of the stairway before she makes it to the top and then -- ice everywhere. HEr eyes open wide, and she shifts her weight, and moves in, skirting along the ice spikes, and reaches up, catching the little flying fox in her arms.

"Gotcha!" she exclaims, and she looks around "The theif's right -- catching a wallet crook isn't worth getting the normal people here iced! Cool your jets!"
Yunomi Stadler     And Yunomi very gently holds onto the foxthing. Because cute, and for the moment, safe.
Morgan Vale Honestly, Wally's reaction makes Morgan /grin/. He's not aiming to hurt people (other than Wally), but he doesn't necessarily need to make that clear. He instead keeps moving, continuing to divert hallways so that he's never directly behind Wally, as he speaks. "What's a couple of injuries or maybe a loss of life? Where I come from, there's over a billion people. Now, imagine there's that many on every world. That leads to a basically uncalculable population rate. What is one or two insignificant lives in one insignificant world?"

Morgan's main tactic is to unnerve Wally here. Obviously, he has morals. Could this guy stop running due to his morals?

As Morgan dashes forward, he notices a way to possibly distract the thief. Running his hand against the wall, he causes a spike to jut out fast...right above a woman's head, to the point where if it had been a foot lower, she would have been injured, possibly lost her head. The woman ducks to the ground, as Morgan keeps moving, keeping an eye on Wally, before swapping hallways in an attempt to ram him. Though, his leg chains seem to be retracting...which might give Wally the ability to trip him up, if he so wishes to take advantage of it.
Wally West Wally stands his ground and his teeth grit. There is a gold hue in those green eyes. "Man.. you sound like some people I hoped to ditch behind me.. but I guess no matter where you run.. you can't escape from some fates."

As Morgan threats a woman's life, Wally suddenly runs right at the man, seeming to move as if he can see things in slow motion-- truth is-- he can. Though he isn't using his super speed, having to really control himself not to honestly. He is using his perception to guide his steps.

Footwork Finna may recognize from a speedster flirt.

What Morgan will also find out is that Wally is not unnerved by his words, oh no-- if anything he pissed the young man off. As the chain goes to pull on his leg, Wally quickly stomps on it to try and trip Morgan up.

Then with almost inhuman speed of his hand, he reaches for the back of Morgan's jacket to then go an slam the man into the ground. "One life, even in a thousand.. even in a billion. Is to many lives." he pulls the money out and throws it at Morgan-- even if he doesn't successful knock the man down.

"Even over a few fifty dollars."

That is when Wally goes to walk away, which leaves the security a bit confused on who to go after. The kid who originally stole the money-- or the guy creating ice spikes everywhere. Though the problem with walking away-- is it means you turn your back on someone who could be overly hostile.

A factor, Wally kind of forgets...
Yunomi Stadler     Well. Yunomi is thoroughly impressed. Even when she had Guardian powers, she couldn't pull off that kind of speed. She watches as wally walks away, her eyebrows rising, her lips pursing as she rubs the back of her head a brief moment. "Well... that kinda leaves you wondering /who/ to root for, doesn't it?" she asks Finna, and exhales.

She sets the fox down (if she'll let her -- Finna totally has ample opportunity to shoulder-surf the tanuki), and goes to put herself between Morgan and Wally.

"... he's right. Even one life is too precious, even in a multiverse of trillions, at least when people like us fight, we go in knowing what to expect. I'd reccomend you find the man that cash belongs to and maybe make up for almost decapitating that nice lady there." she states, curling her fingers around her palm. She nurses a little ball of red mana.
Morgan Vale As Wally stomps on the chain, he'd feel it..move, react, like it's alive. Except it's totally not, it's a chain. Morgan is easily tripped up, causing both the arm and the legs chains to start to rattle. Wally's speed is also something Morgan can't really adapt to, and he's easily slammed into the ground. He's still grinning, atleast until the chains start rattling faster.

As Wally turns his back, the leg chain seems to...stretch outwards? It's lunging at Wally's legs, blunt, to smash into them, but if it hits, it turns sharp for a split second, enough to possibly cut some skin, before quickly moving back to Morgan. As this happens, Morgan is quick to pipe up. "Woah, woah, okay, that wasn't /my/ fault, these things are hella protective. If you don't come at me for that, they'll /probably/ calm down." But, after that, he grins again. It's sharp, and cat-like.

"Honestly, I'm the worst person to say that to, lady. I'm a death god. Not that I was going to kill her anyways, it's a waste of a life. And, I have to say, my manuever worked pretty well, I got the stolen money back." Morgan turns his head up to Yunomi. "Well, you see, I'd do that, but then when I would go to get my reward, they might try and arrest me for endangering her, which, to say, she'd only have really been injured if she had decided to jump head first into the spike. So, instead, I'll take this as my reward, and you can go to the staff and take whatever reward they were offering, and give it to the man who got robbed. Probably more money for him anyways, I assume? The good thing is no one got injured except for the fact my back hurts, like ow." Morgan quickly counts the money Wally tossed at him, before pocketing it, and turning to Wally if he's not completely gone yet.

"You're pretty fast. Should join a track team!"
Wally West The chains slash the back of Wally's leg cause he isn't expecting that and he grits his teeth in pain. He nearly stumbles over and goes down almost to his knee. He glares over at Morgan about then and his fists tighten up.

He just listens to the man talk-- and it makes him kinda sick inside really. Yet it wasn't worth punching the guy over. It isn't worth him getting caught either. He just stares at Morgan before he goes to partly limp away, seeming to use some gathered people to try and blend in with as he shoves his hands into his jacket, and just-- walks away from it all.

He'll let Finna and Yunomi figure this out.
Finna     When she's let go, Finna leaps onto a nearby store sign to avoid the possibility of MORE ice. She can see where this is going in a hurry!

After looking left, and right... she flicks her tail much like a porcupine at Morgan.

A single hair, needle-hardened and sharp-tipped, goes flying for one of his cheeks. Not enough to do any damage, but it will STING like mad.

And if it breaks skin, well, there's a light bit of a certain spider venom on it. Nothing enough to inflict harm on a human, but it will ITCH. It will hitch horribly. Possibly for days.

And the fox goes bounding after Wally!
