Rynn The red head has just recently returned back to the Multiverse proper and has decided to quickly reestablish herself in the way things are. This has brought the young woman to the location known as the Factory. A Strange, barren wasteland to the woman with strange contraptions of many kind.

Her green eyes watch in some fascination as she walks across the desolate land. Her steps kicking up dust from time to time, yet her bow was at ready and her eyes keen on anything that was not the local 'machines'.

After all, this place was contested and that could mean any point someone of the Confederates could show up. Though she was unsure who to expect or even what. What... that was always the bigger question.
Regina of Borg      What. That is always the question.

High above, a blach sphere over a kilometer across appears in the sky. It comes to a stop above the Factory, then below it a green glow appears, then within it the form of a person appears. It solidifies in a coalescence of shimmering to reveal a woman with grey skin, no hair, black skin-tight cybernetic armor, and hoses running from the back of her head to her shoulders.

She takes a look around, then stops when her eyes settle on Rynn. She tilts her head in curiousity, scanning the young woman while a few more of her kind appear around her from that same green glow. These drones do not have her look of self-awareness. They look more like cold machines despite their human faces. "Hmm...I suppose it is not surprising that someone else is here trying to claim this area." she says.

Then, as if they are one being, the group starts toward Rynn. "We are the Borg." the woman leading them says, her voice almost silky. "If you wish to stand against us, then prepare to be assimilated. If not, leave now." she says.
Rynn Rynn was carefully walking, "Arokh, you worry to much. There is no one even---" but her steps froze as she saw the massive orb in the sky and then her green eyes followed the beam of light down. She quickly drew her bow and three arrows into her hand at ready.

Determination came across her face as the Borg Queen spoke and her brows furrowed gently. She then speaks into her comm, "---Nevermind! Switching channels." She taps the ear piece as she steps around and ducks down behind a rock.

Then she speaks directly to the Borg, "I honestly have no interest in leaving and I don't believe you own this area either." She then steps around, before one of those arrows come to be pulled back on the string, still holding the two at ready for quick fire. "And I will not be... Assimilated... whatever that means. So take this arrow as my polite answer!"

Rynn then release the arrow true, before following rapidly with two more, while she books it across the open land.
Regina of Borg      The arrows fly true, and lodge themselves in the Borg leader. She gasps at the sensation, and sparks fly from the holes for a moment before her systems reroute the power. The Borg Queen smirks lightly. "As you wish." she says, then she draws her plasma pistols, one in each hand. Her five escorts stay still as she opens fire on Rynn.

Plasma bolts burn their way through the air quickly, seeking to sear the flesh off of Rynn's body. As she fires, the Borg move toward Rynn again, but more quickly this time.
Rynn Rynn leaps over one of the little robots with ease, and tumbles across the ground, gripping two more arrows. As she does so, the plasma shots impact across her leather pants, scorching not only the leather, but also her skin.

This throws off her step, as she about stumbles and rolls over to a kneel. Her hand comes to rest against the burn, as she winces a little. Those yes though have yet to lose that fire. "Tch." She then holds the two arrows in her bow hand, as she goes to stand up and then places out her hand.

Her fingers glow gently as she starts to trace a rune of some kind in the air, and then once she finishes tracing it, her hand extends out in front of it. The magic gathers around her finger tips, before she then seems to grasp the spell, before stepping around and then throwing it outward.

The spell is purple in color and starts to break apart as it moves ever closer to the rapidly approaching cyborgs, which it then explodes into a form of purple smoke, attempting to slow them down. Though as it tries to slow them down it also tries to infect them, to destabilize them, and maybe even immobilize a few of them.

This all to just buy Rynn some time to get over that pain from her leg and get to a better defensive position.
Regina of Borg      The maneuver works. The Borg slow as their systems start working to counter the poison. But, they don't stop firing even as they suffer from the weakness. Magic is one of their weaknesses, though, so they really have no good way to get rid of the spell.

"Surrender now, and we will let you go. Continue resisting, and you will be assimilated." the Borg Queen says as she keeps firing. Several more plasma rounds go searing through the air, ready to burn Rynn.
Rynn The young woman keeps on the move, but one of the rounds gets her in the shoulder. She grits her teeth and those eyes narrow to daggers. "Surrender? Ha. I don't ever surrender!" She then takes those two arrows and like a chain she fires them both. One of them for one Borg, another for the other Borg. Attempting to remove the Queen's men.

"I did not surrender to the Dark Union. I did not surrender to the Desert Lords... and I will never surrender to the likes of any of you!"
Regina of Borg      The two selected Borg are hit squarely, and they stumble before falling forward. That still leaves 3 more and the Queen herself. "Then, perhaps you will enjoy assimilation. The Borg never surrender, either. We conquer all in our way." she says even as her drones fall around her.

The queen reaches for her belt after holstering a pistol, then tosses a grenade at Rynn. The explosion that follows is pure fiery destruction as green plasma bursts outward from the explosion, melting the ground, any little robots in the way, and possibly Rynn a bit. "The Borg are eternal. You are but a speck to be wiped away in the flow of time."
Rynn The grenade goes off and Rynn's eyes go wide. She hand springs away in her open hand to get away from the blast. The fire licks across her backside, and singes the ends of her red hair. The plasma eats away the ground and the small robots that get in the way, thankfully she avoided the worst.

The woman rolls across the ground as she lands and then slides back up to her feet, reaching for one of her arrows, this one is different. The arrow head glows with an odd red color. She pulls it back and takes aim. "Then let me be the first to disappoint you. I shall not be conquered by the likes of any!"

Her finger tips release the arrow and it flies for the Borg Queen, but the aim seems low. As it moves in closer the arrow starts to turn into fire and once it impacts the ground it then explodes with a fiery detonation much like a grenade.

It seems the was Rynn's own response back to the grenade that was tossed at her.
Regina of Borg      The Borg Queen is surprised by the explosion. It blows her off her feet, and it takes her a moment to get up again. "Many have said that before." she says as her drones continue forward, shielding her for now. They fire their own plasma weapons while the Queen stays behind them, firing over their shoulders.

"Now, they are all Borg." she says as plasma fills the air.
Rynn As the Borgs push forward, Rynn goes on the move again. Though her step on the one foot is not light from the shot she took in the thigh and its hard to maneuver when own leg doesn't want to to cooperate! This leaves her ducking, rolling and trying to avoid the shots. Though one gets her square in the chest and she yelps in pain, her foot stumbling, and she collides down to the ground.

She scuffs back a bit with her boots as she reaches to grab a few more arrows. She then aims down between her legs considering the position she is in and these arrow tips glow with a purple, electrical light. "But they were not me!" She snaps back, before releasing an arrow after arrow.

Three arrows once more fly down for the Borg group. On impact they release and electrical charge of high powered electricity. It seems the red head has moved to using magic enhanced arrows instead of the standard projectiles.
Regina of Borg      It might be magic, but electricity is one thing the Borg can handle. All of the Borg have shimmering green shields appear around them as those arrows explode with electricity. The shields absorb the blow, minimizing the damage done. "Your resolve is admirable, but ultimately irrelevant. Your strength cannot match the strength of the Borg."

With Rynn on the ground, it seems like a perfect moment to use another grenade. Only this time, a volley of grenades is thrown at Rynn. A series of searing green explosions follow, and any one of them is plenty dangerous. The Borg use this as a distraction to try and close the distance, and they are faster than they seemed initially.
Rynn The volley of explosions go off as Rynn tries to get away. The force knocks her off her feet and sends her sailing back, colliding into one of the robots which causes her to flip over it and land roughly into the ground. Her bow thrown out of her hands and clattering to the ground out of her reach.

She lays there for a moment, coughing a bit. Covered in dirt and a bit of smoke from the blast. Slowly, Rynn gets up to her feet, though almost stumbles back to her knees, "...Arokh..." she whispers softly. Those green eyes look up at the Borg as they are almost on top of her.

The red head then grits her teeth as she draws out her sword and lets out a war cry in defiance. Perhaps with little choice at the moment, she takes a risky chance, charging right into the Borg ranks. Her scimitar like sword catching the hazy sunlight as she brings it down with a swift slash, then stepping around to slash out with another strike, before back flipping away and then piercing in with the edge of the blade, before twisting and trying to slash it across the other way.

The odds were not looking in her favor and yet, she continued to fight. Rynn continued to push on.
Regina of Borg      There is one thing the Borg have as of yet been unable to mitigate. And that is physical attacks. Oh, they have armor. Good armor. But weapon technology is always ahead of defensive technology. So, when Rynn comes slicing in, she cuts into all three of the regular drones.

But, they are not defenseless. Each one has a blade of its own on its tool arm, and as she slashes across the other way, one of the Borg catches her sword on its claws before gripping tightly. And before Rynn can get away, the Borg Queen closes in quickly. "You will be Borg." she says as she grabs for Rynn's neck. If she is successful, she would grab Rynn's neck with the strength of a machine, and as she holds Rynn a pair of needle-like tubes would fire from her wrist and puncture Rynn's skin.

What would follow after that is a very uncomfortable sensation. A sensation not unlike the burning of poison, but followed closely after by numbness as nanoprobes attempt to hijack Rynn's nervous system.

In the midst of that, the other Borg drones slice at Rynn with their blades.
Rynn Rynn's blade is caught and while she lets go of it, she is quickly snagged by the Borg Queen, even as the woman attempts to inject the nanonites into her, the red head actually spits at the woman, speaking through gritted teeth. "...Sod off..."

She does almost yell in pain as the blades cut into her arms and it looks pretty bad really. She wasn't wearing her plate armor, which was a mistake on her part and while she tries to break free. Even with her own body feeling tense from the pain and whatever the Borg Queen was trying to do to her. She refused to just go down with out some type of a fight.

That is when a loud roar can be heard in the distance. Not shortly after following the roar, swoops down a red scaled dragon with powerful wings tucked tight to his body as he comes in quickly on approach from the sky.

Flames bellow out from his mouth as he lets out another roar and with his wings spreading open at the last second he swoops in to knock the Borg off their feet, or at least aid in breaking Rynn free. "Rynn! Get out of the way!" The dragon rumbles out, as he comes back around for another run at the Borgs.

If this was successful, Rynn does indeed get out of the way and seeks for cover to try and get some semblance of order once more, including maybe tend to her wounds as Arokh takes over the fight.
Regina of Borg      The Borg are indeed knocked off their feet and forced to release Rynn. And as Regina watches that dragon fly over, she can't help but smirk lightly. "Interesting. A dragon would be a formidable addition to my collective." she says. As she stands, the other drones are surrounded in that same green glow as what brought them down here.

It seems the Queen is going to handle this on her own. Without her drones here, she actually seems a bit faster. Rather than guiding a group, she can just react on her own and can actually run, something the drones were unable to do. And, if either Rynn or the dragon has the capability, the gigantic black sphere floating above them is powering its weapons up, preparing to unleash them if needed.
Rynn Arokh's fiery gold eyes narrow as he growls lowly and watches as most of the Borgs leave, only leaving the woman behind. His wings beat as he then extends them out fully as he banks around, the wind catching on the membrane of his wings as his tail follows around with simple ease.

As the red dragon comes back around, he swoops down low and then with a screech as he goes past, he turns around hard and blasts out draconic flames right directly where the Borg woman stands. Attempting to scorch the very earth and her with his hot dragon fire that normally is hot enough to melt steel in only a few seconds.
Regina of Borg      Regina watches the dragon come around, and starts running toward him. Her personal shields flare as that fire burns around her, protecting her from the worst of it, though her armor still smolders in a few places.

But, evading the attack was only part of her plan. Running toward him made sure she was there at the lowest point of his dive. And as he flies past, a few more grenades are thrown into the air. These, though, are different. They flash in mid-air, then start tracking Arokh. And when they get close enough, they explode, attempting to coat the dragon in ions hot enough to melt even dragon skin.
Rynn Arokh pulls up hard and then spins himself around the air as he notices something chasing him. With a snarl of his teeth, he then starts to blast out flame at each of the orbs, before attempting to swoop between them.

They explode around him as he starts to barrel roll his body. The explosions catching across his battle hardened scales in different locations in the spin, controlling the amount of damage done by displacing the explosion over his surface.

He lands on the ground rough though with a screeching roar, as his wings unfurl slight as his claws dig into the ground and his spins around to face Regina. His tail spike slam across the ground, racking up the rocky surface. His muzzle lips pull back to snarl in her direction showing off his razor sharp teeth.

Those draconic eyes carrying the same fire that was in Rynn's own and just as defiant, if not more so. His tail swings side to side, before he charges across the ground and then goes to ram his head right into the Borg Queen, before he brings his maw around to snap his teeth against her body, and then try to throw her back down into the ground after a hard shake.

Rynn meanwhile, peeks out from where she is hiding, wincing a bit as the pain from the explosion Arokh took creeps over her own body. She tries to draw a rune in the air, but her own magic sputters about then as she loses focus.
Regina of Borg      Regina is fast. But, dodging a dragon that is divebombing you is pretty hard. She is headbutted, chomped, and thrown to the ground. But, as she is being chomped, she jams a fist against the roof of Arokh's mouth and attempts to inject those same nanoprobes that are plaguing Rynn.

And, as she is falling, Regina is firing plasma shots at Arokh's belly. But, when she hits the ground, she leaves a small crater. It takes her several moments to get up from that one, and when she does it is obvious she is badly damage. Sparks fly from her every now and then, especially where those teeth punctured her armor. "I...will not lose..." she says as she stands tall again.
Rynn Arokh fights off the effects far more easier then Rynn has, but its also because of their bond that is perhaps keeping Rynn from being infected as well. The red Elder Dragon turns to face the Queen Borg and as her plasma shots impact across his scales, he does not back off.

Instead the dragon only starts to walk toward her. Each shot causes him to flinch a little, but that snarl only becomes more apparent. Another shot impacts his wing and he screeches in a minor bit of pain, before he continues to walk toward her. Though Regina may have even heard Rynn about the same time muffled yelp in pain.

Arokh then narrows his eye ridges as he speaks at last. "Keep telling yourself that, but it will not be this day!" Then with a swing of his body, his tail whips around with those heavy spikes on the end. It comes around with whip like speed to impact into the Borg Queen and perhaps send her sailing a few feet away.
Regina of Borg      With a sound not unlike a resounding *WHACK!* the Borg Queen goes flying away. She lands hard and rolls a good distance away. And it seems like she is done for. Sparks are shooting from her body quite often now, and there is a slick of black oil-like blood on the ground where she went sliding and rolling through the dirt.

It is not the end, though. The tough cyborg stands slowly, pieces of armor missing and even pieces of face, showing a metal skull beneath. "The Borg...cannot be beaten." she says as she stands tall again. Or, as tall as she can. Then, there is a burst of light from above them.

A glance upward would show that the sphere has launched something. Something that just about anyone could recognize as a weapon. In this case, a plasma torpedo. It flies with the speed of a rocket, guiding itself down toward Arokh. "Feel the power of the Borg!" the Borg Queen exclaims just before the torpedo impacts. Whether it his Arokh or not, the devastation would be immense. The explosion itself is bad enough, but like the grenades it showers everything in a wide radius in burning plasma that causes even more damage.
Rynn Arokh sneers his teeth as Regina speaks and he raises up his head, his spiked ear fins expand out slightly as his tail moves side to side to display his growing agitation. "I've heard many claim such and they have all fallen. I defeated such a man, not once-- but twice."

The Elder Breed narrows his eyes sharply, as he snorts out some flames. "So I don't think I am easily swayed." Yet his attention breaks when he hears Rynn's voice call out to him. His attention quickly shifts over to her, "Arokh! Above you!" The dragon then looks upward at the sphere, before he chomps his heavy jaws.

With a hard push off, he then pounces over to where Rynn is. His wing lifts up and sweeps over her as he pulls her in close just as the torpedo drops and impacts the ground. The flames wash over him and chunks of rock impact across his scaled hide.

Once the smoke clears a bit, his red scales were darken from the fire and chink, along with dents were made in his scales. Slowly he raised up his wing as bits of dirt moved off it. "...Are you alright, Rynn?"

The woman looks up at Arokh and nods her head, before she smiles softly. "Go get her for me and show her what a Dragon of the Order can do. I'll get her next time."

Arokh eyes show a bit of a smile, before they narrow sharply as he turns to face Regina once more. Then he steps forward, his wings unfurling a bit. "Your power is impressive, but I will not waiver. You have injured my friend and for that you will come to know why we of the Elder breed, the Elder dragons are the supreme race of Drakan!"

Arokh then leaps forward, before he jumps into the skies. He takes flight and circles around. He comes to halt in the air above her, "Leave from this place!" he roars out before rearing back his head as flames gather in his maw and then with a screeching roar, expels a blast of explosive fire right down for the Borg Queen which shakes the very area around her, hit or miss, from its immense power.
Regina of Borg      The Borg Queen watches that fire coming down at her. And...she actually smiles lightly. "Such power..." she says softly. Even as the ground explodes around her, the Borg Queen is being emergency transported. As the fire is dying down, the characteristic green glow can easily be seen.

Once it fades, the ship quickly leaves the area. It seems Rynn and Arokh have secured the area for now. The threat of the cybernetic zombies is gone.
Rynn Arokh watches as the green energy can be seen in his fire and then as the Sphere starts to leave. He snarls his teeth, before he flaps his wings hard to get a bit more altitude, then swoops down to land by Rynn's side. The red dragon rumbles a purr before he nuzzles his snout against her good arm gently. "Lets go home Rynn. Get you looked at."

Rynn looks at him goes to stand up slowly, using him to rest her weight against for a moment. "You don't look much better, you crazy dragon."

Arokh snorts softly. "Crazy? You are the one who ran off thinking you could take on a Queen and her brainless subjects. Who was she anyways?"

"A Borg," Rynn explains as she gets up onto Arokh's back. "I-- I can't remember her name right now or if she even said her name." Rynn shakes her head, "She was powerful though..."

The red Dragon's tail sways side to side, before he then unfurls his wings once more. Seeming to not comment his own thoughts of Regina's power. "I am sure it will come to you in the morning. Now hold on!" Arokh then leaps into the air and takes flight as the Union forces start to move in.
