Scene #1805: Burning Heat (3 Option Mix): Fight at the Mining Station!

Aurora	It doesn't matter what time it is on the Station. It's lit up pretty good and the cargo holds are full of boxes of various things. "I wonder if that lady is going to show up." she mutters, holding a visualizer in one and and her sword in another. She's decked out in her armor this time, the jet armor attached to her back, radar horn and the drone bits floating around her. "Now, to hope she can remove those pesky Union members so I can bring this back to Master." she gives a firm nod and a smile, "Master's going to be so happy when she hears this!" For now, all Aurora can do is wait... and wait... and wait.
Guest Lizbet	"Arnval!" Lizbet drops down into the cargo room from one of the air ducts above. They may be too small for a human to squeeze inside, but for a Shinki? No swear! She hovers in the air, about halfway between the floor and the ceiling. She's decked out in her armour, of course, although the only armament she's currently wielding is her two-handed beam sword - currently held in her off hand lazily. She points dramatically! "You are trespassing in Union territory. This is your last chance to leave in peace!"
Aurora	"No, this is Aurora." she retorts, "But I asked you to leave in peace, I want this for my Master and I refuse to leave because of a bully." Aurora points her sword towards the LirBiete, a smile on her face. "I doubt diplomacy will work for you, the red in your armor and the fire in your CMS... aaaah, such noble traits." she looks at the visualizer... and tosses it behind her, "Come, shall we dance a blade waltz? You shall not let me down, I hope?" Aurora lifts herself in the air and smiles, holding the hilt of the sword with both hands, her face turning a bit more serious "Shall we?"
Guest Lizbet	"If you won't leave in peace..." A smirk appears on Lizbet's features. Her thruster vector shifts, and she suddenly speeds forward right at Aurora. "Then you'll leave in pieces! BEAM CUTTER!" She screams out, gripping her sword with both hands and swinging at Aurora with a horizontal swipe - aimed just below her CMS. The sword is about as long as Lizbet is tall (out of her armour, at any rate)!
Aurora	Aurora watches and smiles, "Yep, one of /those/ types." she shakes her head a bit and braces herself in mid air before bringing her sword to bear against the incoming Shinki's sword, deflecting it off her sword to scratch up her arm, the drone bits around her spin around and the tips glow, sending a ring of lasers towards the LirBiete as counter fire, before following along. "You're going to be fun~" Continuing the chase, she moves to swing upwards with her sword as she gets close, if the lasers or the sword hits, she doesn't mind, this is going to be the best vacation ever!
Guest Lizbet	Lizbet promptly detaches entirely from her armour - which transforms into a ROBOT what the heck - and spins through the air, deftly dodging those lasers - while her armour promptly flies up into the air. She takes her left hand off of her sword, the tell-tale flash of her Slipway announcing the appearance of another weapon - a curved beam-knife, which she uses to block Aurora's sword swing. And then... "TWIN!" she shouts out, as her armour deploys its autocannons and fires a burst of hot plasma at Aurora, while Lizbet falls away.
Aurora	Not being in combat for a while does dull your senses and slows your reaction time, or maybe its the red making things faster than normal, who knows. All Aurora knows at the moment is that the autocannons burn right into the Arnval's armor, scorching her pretty good as a wince of pain escapes her visage. "Mmm... forgot that the Vic Viper models are a bit overpowered." she mutters, shaking her head as she gets herself righted in space. Aurora's left hand is let go from the sword and glows a bit, a smaller red blade sword appearing there in mere moments from the slipway and with a burst of speed from the jet armor upon her back, she closes in on the LirBiete, making a downward X strike at the other rare model shinki before her. She doesn't announce her attack, but quips... "Stop announcing your attacks,you'll get yourself figured out that way!" After making her attack, she darts off once more, the slipway glowing as her beam rifle becomes equipped in both hands, eyes filled with targeting reticles as she visually chases.
Guest Lizbet	"NEVER!" Lizbet brings her beam-kukri up to try to parry again, but this time she's not quite quick enough. She twists in the air, however, so the slices just dig into her left side rather than anywhere more vital! Her armour swoops back in, and reattaches to her - before she boosts up into the air again. Her two-handed sword vanishes, and an identical beam-kukri appears to replace it. "DOUBLE FANG!" she calls, as she dashes back in two slash at the dual-wielder with some dual wielding of her own! She's making very sure to stay in as close as possible. That's not actually normal for a LirBiete!
Aurora	Aurora gives a shriek as the blades cut back into her after the weapon switch, the Arnval's body sparking from how deep the blades get her, with fortune that no major systems are damaged as of yet. She scowls a bit and flies off, trying to gain some distance between her and the melee-shinki, firing a few warning shots from the rifle. "Mmph, I'll have to keep this data in mind when dealing with you in the future." she mutters before, taking aim once more, letting off a high power shot from the rifle before scattering a few smaller shots around with her drones and rifle, practically filling a good space with a hailstorm of lasers! She doesn't stay in one spot, quickly moving around to let out another barrage of lasers from another location and moving once more to unload even more laserfire at the LirBiete before the flash of slipway rearms her with the twin swords. "You're strong but I will take this for my Master!"
Guest Lizbet	Lizbet darts back, but ends up taking several laser shots to her armour - as well as her rather unprotected legs. Seriously, who designs zettai ryouki -armour-? "You're not the only one with drones, Arnval!" she calls. "I have my Options!" And, on cue, her four ovoid drones - each one slightly larger than her head, but flattened like a 'flying saucer' - flashes its way out of the Slipway. "...And mine have missiles." "FLYING TORPEDO: OPTION V!" she shotus, as she darts in close - surrounded by a hail of -missiles-!
Aurora	Shinki Otaku Magazine, Page 45, section 3. Zettai Ryouki armor for Shinki. That's who. Aurora lets out a shirek as the missiles are let loose towards her, though they may be dumb missiles, Aurora still manages to move wrong as all four of them smash and explode into the purple Shinki. "Nn..nngh.." soon she lands on the ground, clutching her shoulder with one hand.. "Think Aurora, think... brutes like that don't respond well to tactical thinking..." A bright idea comes into her logic processors as she summons her rifle once more, the drone bits then start attaching to the jet armor and with a 'kathunk', the armor detaches and gets sent flying right at the LirBiete, the drone bits glowing purple before firing more lasers at the LirBiete model, "See, I can do that too! Seperate my armor!" She then starts a hail of laser fire from the ground at different angles while commanding her jet armor to fire at even more awkward angles, trying to pin the LIrBiete between two seperate enemies now.
Guest Lizbet	"Two can play at this game, Arnval! ... Which is basically what you just said but it's a cool line so screw it!" She detaches from her armour again - as her Options come in close to screen ehr on her way down to the ground! Her armour, meanwhile, transforms into the Vic Viper! ... Or maybe it's the Lord British? It's red, after all. Either way, dogfight ahoy! The Vic British/Lord Viper continues to blast away with its Twin cannons. Meanwhile, Lizbet has taken a few shots to her now-unprotected body! But most of them hit her Options - taking two of them out and leaving one of them crippled. Oh well! She promptly hauls off and punches right for Aurora's FACE!
Aurora	Aurora smiles a bit as the rifle dissapears, taking some out, hitting Lizbet and crippling another option? Aurora's just fine with this outcome. At least, until Lizbet lands and pelts the purple one in the face with a wicked punch that sends the poor girl flying and tumbling along the ground, skidding to a stop... the stop being into a cargo box. Stupid gravity. Aurora's swords reappear into her hands as she picks herself up, spitting a bit of oil onto the ground. "Bully. I only wanted this place for my Master!" she kicks off the ground, running towards the grounded LirBiete, swords behind her. "My Master deserves the best! And I will not allow you to stop me!" as she gets closer, she takes a spin around to swing both swords right at the Shinki's torso and thigh! Attempting to cut right through both with force.
Guest Lizbet	Lizbet's Twin cannons appear... on her arms, vanishing from her armour - which proceeds to fire rippling ring-lasers instead, now, as it continues to duel Aurora's armour above. Her arms just fit right into them, like a pair of elbow-length gauntlets. "Your Master is a Confederate!" Lizbet retorts, reaching out in an attempt to -catch- those swords. But they just scrape off Lizbet's armoured arms and slice into her! She's sparking, a bit, but the damage doesn't seem to be critical yet... "Do you think I'd just let the Confederacy have this place? Do you have any diea what they've done to me?!" She rears her arm back. The gauntlet is surrounded by golden light. "YOUR FACTION KILLED MY MASTER!" SMASH.
Aurora	Aurora gives a frown as the gauntlets come into view on her opponent then... "What?" the sudden revelation given by the LirBiete causes the Shinki to pause her attacks... "Y...your Master died?" then suddenly the smash from the gauntlet sends the Arnval into the ground once more before the Shinki backs up, her weapons dissapearing into the Slipway. "Wait a minute, wait a minute, stop fighting! she holds her arms out in a panicked 'stop' motion, as if that may stop the Shinki... "Wait a minute please..." with a snap of her fingers, the jet armor dives down and reequips back to Aurora... "That.. that's not right... what was your Master doing? Fighting against the Confederacy?" she questions, concern in her voice... "I only wanted the Mining Station because it has rocks that my Master can use for her runes. That's all. I don't care what the other Confederates use it for..." a pause, "I'm only fighting because I wanted to get this for Her... that's all. I... I'm sorry your Master passed away because of possibly stupid things... maybe we can make a deal or something?" Aurora places her hands behind her back, a frown upon her face as a tiny bit of light behind her pulls out her small sword. A just in case measure.
Guest Lizbet	Lizbet is -just- about to go in for another attack, not seeming to care what Aurora might do to defend herself... but when she starts to actually talk, rather than throw barbs or witticisms, Lizbet freezes in place. There's a pause. She then stands up straight, and her gauntlets vanish. Her armour comes in to land behind her, then vanishes as well, leaving Lizbet completely unarmed. She stares at Aurora. There are tears in her eyes, and she's glowering hatefully. But then... "I cannot make a deal that would further the Confederacy's goals while hurting the Union. What would these runes be used for?" she asks, stoicly, as her expression slowly reverts to a more neutral one.
Aurora	"Master uses them for protection and combat. She's also looking at upgrading my own capabilities. I would rather use words than weapons to get to my means but..." she shakes her head, "I have no control over what my Master will use them for purely because I'm her Shinki." she gives a bow, hiding the blade between back and jet pack. "Master has assisted with the Union with the runes as well as well as protecting a village with shielding runes. I know this will not do much to let you turn over the area to me because I do not think you have that authority and I don't have the authority to offer any other place in exchange." "I know my words might seem hollow to you and I do not know what it is like to lose a Master but I imagine its devastating... to know that you may get reformatted... sold off to someone else... to remove memories of the time you spent with him or her..." she slowly approaches the LirBiete, arms held out as if wanting to hug... "I know that I'm Confederate too.. you know this as well. It's... up to you what you wish to do. If you want to continue with your attacks, by all means... do so."
Guest Lizbet	Lizbet takes a step back, not letting Aurora come within arm's reach of her. "I don't have the authority to hand over the Station, no. However." She holds up one hand, palm out, fingers splayed - basically 'stop'. "I would be willing to aid you in acquiring materials that -aren't- located in Union territory. It's a large Multiverse. There have to be other suitable materials."
Aurora	Aurora stops and shakes her head, "I'm afraid I need the station for what she wants. The rocks here might have the hardness she needs for her experiments with different rune magic." a pause and a sigh, "While there may be different places, Master wants this place and failing that..." there's a reason the Shinki didn't unequip herself and that reason will be made apparent shortly. "I'm sorry on what happened with your Master, LirBiete. Perhaps... you will find another that can share your memories with. Aurora bows once more, looking up from the bow before dashing forth, pulling the short sword from her back and moving to thrust it forth as the jet thrusters kick in, picking up her speed and force to impale the unarmored LirBiete with the sword! "I wanted to end this on a peaceful note but you are not willing to cooperate!"
Guest Lizbet	Lizbet is stabbed! RIght through her torso, just next to her right shoulder. She doesn't even move to avoid it - it goes right -through- her. There's a pause for a few seconds... And then her left left comes up to kick Aurora away. She leaps back - possibly taking the sword with her if Aurora didn't keep a good grip on it - and summoning her armour to her again. She hovers in the air, about a yard up. "...I almost believed you. Heh. I thought you might be different." She raises her hand to the ceiling. "But you're no different fromt hat Fubuki! KYOUSUKE, ARE YOU WATCHING?!" Her right leg - in its armour - begins to glow orange-gold. "Ultimate." Her thrusters angle back. "God Princess!" She streaks down at Aurora, at an alarmingly fast pace - her thrusters are firing as hard as they can, and VicViper Shinkis are fast! "KIIIIICK!!!"
Aurora	"Unlike that Fubuki..." a pause... "I am still sincere." the announced attack lets Aurora bring up her blade just in time to deflect most of that blow... despite a lot of it getting through. The Shinki's body smouldering and sparking... and still all in one peice. "I wanted to work out a way we could both be happy with this... but you are just too stubborn... too hot headed..." "Maybe you are like the Fubuki you talk about... cold and uncaring." a pause, "I'll leave this place for now, I will come back to claim it for my Master." another pause before she floats up from her jetpack.. "Goodbye, LirBiete. I'll let the Confederacy know of your Master and send a care package your way." Floating off, she turns her head towards the LirBiete. "Until we meet again, on better terms."
Guest Lizbet	Lizbet relaxes a bit... then promptly falls to her knees, wincing and putting one hand up to her stab wound. "...Nggh. Damn... sneak attacks..."
