Blurr     The exoforest is a rather exotic place, with all sorts of dangerous lifeforms to contend with. Fire-spewing carnivorous flowers, incredibly strong vines, and Primus knows what else. So what had Blurr been doing here? Likely searching for the survivors of a wrecked Autobot ship that had recently crashed nearby. He thought he'd detected a faint distress beacon nearby, and had decided to cut through here...

And now? Now he's so tangled up in some gigantic Primus-forsaken vine plant that he's barely even visible any more. Could he call for an extraction team, yes...but that would just be incredibly embarrassing you know. An extraction team to get -him- out of a -plant-? He'd be slagged before he did -that-. -He- was supposed to be doing the rescuing.

At any rate, he's been stuck here for several cycles already, and has actually grown exhausted from struggling and attempting to get free. It just seems that every time he breaks one of the branches, it just grows right back with twice as many leaves and vines. Slagging organics...
Taylita       Taylita, being a robotics enthusiast, responded as well, but it had taken her a while to track down the weak signal. As Blurr dangles from vines, he would eventually hear what sounded like the engines of ship, and if he were able to see, a large saucer-like ship would come into view. If he's had any experience with the saiyan controlled Planetary Trade Organization, he might recognize it, but otherwise it just looks like a flying saucer. She whistles appreciatively at the readings her sensors give her on the plant and animal life here. "Well, this should be fun." she says with a grin. She puts her ship into hover mode, then hops out. There doesn't seem to be a landing area, after all.

So, she goes it alone, carrying a hand-held scanner and using her own senses as well. When the blip of a cybertronian power signature appears on her scanner, she heads that way. She flies overhead, not wanting to tangle with the forest more than she has to. But, when she doesn't see anyone or anything in the area, she dives below the canopy and lands carefully, not wanting to attract too much attention. She holds up her scanner again, then swats it on the side. "What, are you glitching? There's nothing here!"
Blurr     Little does Taylita know, she is actually standing on him, though there are a lot of vines all around. The scanner beeps insistently, indicating that the signal it's telling her about is right under her nose, because well, it is.

As for Blurr, he doesn't recognize the ship, and actually by now he's gotten kind of hazy, because the plant's been secreting some kind of acid into his body slowly over time. Plus, he's terribly exhausted from all that struggling. If Tay is look down, she might notice that there's some pink-lavender fluid on the foliage. If she knows anything about Cybertronians, it has all the signature looks of the fluid that rus in their lines, energon.
Taylita       Taylita huffs at the scanner, then looks around again. She notices that pink-purple stuff, but she hasn't seen a Cybertronian cut open before, so she doesn't recognize it. However, her scanner is kind enough to inform her what it is. "Wait, so there a hurt one around here somewhere?" she says, then leaps off. The signal gets weaker. She blinks, turns around, and walks back. It gets stronger. After a few more such exercises, she approaches the vine-wrapped Blurr, then pokes at the vines. "Huh. I guess whatever it is is in there." she says, then she grabs one of the thicker vines and starts pulling.

She pulls with all her might. Which is a lot, considering she is a saiyan of moderate power level. "C-come...on...!!" she growls as she tries to rip the vine apart.
Blurr     Harder, harder...and then finally there is a tearing sound as that section is ripped away to reveal part of a massive arm, though it looks rather corroded, and the pinkish fluid is dripping from it.

But now that a particularly large section is gone, Taylita can look up through the 'hole' of sorts she's made and see enough of Blurr's body that she can tell there is one quite massive mechanoid up there, all wrapped up in these vines.
Taylita       When that vine finally gives way, Taylita is sent tumbling head-over-heels by the sudden release of force. She rubs at her head a moment, then walks back over. "What the-?!" Her eyes widen at the sight of the arm. "Crap! I have to get him out of there!" she says when she sees the arm is still attached to a large mechanoid.

She starts tearing away at other vines, but when it seems that might take a while, she floats into the air, then with a 'kyaaa!' her aura flares up, surrounding her in what would look like blue fire to most people. Then, she makes a chopping gesture with her hand, and a blade of blue energy flies out, slicing into the vines that are supporting Blurr.
Blurr     Tearing away at them by hand quickly proves to be not just inefficient but actually completely futile. The vines just keep growing back with twice as many branches every time she tears at them, even the large one that she had ripped away just now. She's going to have to try something a lot faster and more powerful than that.

And she certainly is a quick thinker. The blue energy slices most of them open, and gravity takes Blurr out of their grasp before they can grow back, landing on the ground with a loud *KA-THUNK*.
Taylita       "Geeze. Someone needs to take a planetary-sized weed whacker to this place!" Taylita says as the vines grow back. But then, success! She flies down to Blurr, then winces at his state before she grabs him firmly and starts floating upward. Hopefully he isn't -too- heavy. She should be able to lift him. She still grunts with the effort, and can't move very quickly while holding him. The ship seems a long way up, all of a sudden. "You have to go on a diet when you get home." she says in a gently teasing voice.
Blurr     Blurr is very light for a Cybertronian--well, he has to be in order to be as fast as he is. But, that being said, he IS a Cybertronian, making him many times larger than a typical human. So yes, he is very heavy to Taylita even with her enhanced strength.

Suddenly, he seems to become a bit more aware, because he's being carried by someone he doesn't know. "Huhwhatwhowherehowwhywhoareyouwhereareyoutakingmeandwhatdoyoumeandiet???!"
Taylita       Taylita stares blankly when Blurr speaks like that. "Uh...to safety? And...you're heavy?" she says once her brain has caught up to the dialogue. "I mean, it's expected, with you being a big machine, that you are heavy. I was just teasing about the diet, though." she says.

Taylita slowly makes her way up to her ship, then in through the cargo bay door. The cargo bay is pretty much the size of a normal room, so Blurr might be a bit crowded, but he's at least not melting anymore. "So, are you a survivor of that distress beacon?" Taylita asks once the ship's doors are closed again. She stands with her hands on her hips, regarding Blurr curiously. Then she winces again when she sees the state he is in. "I'll get you back to Njorun, so don't you worry." she says before heading toward the bridge. "If you want to talk, use that intercom." She points to a panel on the wall with a small red button beside it.
Blurr     Blurr doesn't get the joke, because he doesn't know what a 'diet' is. However, he has more pressing matters to worry about. He actually doesn't look at at all happy about her taking him back to Njorun, though he is kind of not doing well as far as trying to conceal the fact that he's in a lot of pain."WhatNjorunnoI'mnotdonehereIwastrackingadistressbeaconIcan'tjustleavethembehindokaysoyouhavetoletmeoffsoIcangetthejobdone..." See, other people talk slower when they're injured, but not him. For him it's actually the opposite because when he's in a state like this, he doesn't have the energy to focus on keeping his speech at a normal pace.

Indeed, it's quite cramped in here for him, and he has to keep his legs up against his chassis. "WhoareyouanywayIdon'tknowyou."
Taylita       "Hey, you are in no condition to go out searching fo-...wait, you mean you aren't even part of that distress beacon? So, there's more out there somewhere?" Taylita huffs. "Alright, do you have any idea where they were? I couldn't track the signal. It was too weak." she says, then blinks. "Oh, I'm Taylita, saiyan warrior. Don't worry, I'm with the Union."
Blurr     Blurr looks exasperated. "WellofcoursetherewerewhyelsedoyouthinkIwasouthterehmph." He folds his arms and tries to look tough, though there is a growing pool of energon forming right under where he's sitting. "AndIwastrackingthemuntilmysensorsweredamagedsonowI'mjustgoingtohavetolookfortracksorfootprintsbuttheyshouldbeintheareaatleastwithinahalfkilradius."
Taylita       Taylita looks a bit exasperated herself as Blurr keeps speaking like a record on high speed. "Slow down, will you?! It's hard to understand you when you talk that fast!" she says finally, flailing her arms a bit. "Alright, so you were tracking them. Can you tell me what frequency to look for or what energy signature? I mean, I have a scanner and it helped me find you, but combing this entire forest area with my scanners will take a while. And judging by YOUR condition, if we don't hurry, those other Cybertronians don't have much of a chance."
Blurr     Oh...right. Other people can't think as fast as he does. Blurr grumbles in clear exasperation but does his best to comply. His speech slows enough for her to more easily understand him though it is still pretty fast by normal standards. "Give me access to your sensor arrays and I'll see if I can knock out some of the interference."
Taylita       Taylita nods, then goes over to a nearby console and taps a few buttons. The sensor controls come up, then she stands to the side. "All yours, Mr...?" He hasn't introduced himself, and if he has, Taylita missed it in the supersonic speech. "Hopefully the system isn't too confusion. I'm sure you cybertronians have way better sensors and stuff."
Blurr     "Blurr, the name's Blurr." The speedster nods and quickly moves over to the console. He opens it up, and small interface cables extend from a finger to jack right into the sockets. "And nah, it's not confusing. Most human technology is fairly simple, actually." The screen blacks out then begins to display a bunch of oscillating Cybertronian characters. Finally, the appropriate frequency appears, with a map below it showing a more defined area. "There."
Taylita       "I'm not human, but I guess that's a minor detail." Taylita says after the comment before she leans in to get a better look at what Blurr is doing. "Hey, that's pretty neat. You can just hook right into it, huh? Guess that makes sense. I mean, you're a really advanced robot, right?" she says as she watches. When the map appears defining the area, Taylita gives a little 'Woo!'. She heads toward the cockpit and starts the ship toward that area. "Good work, Blurr!"
Blurr     "Yep sure thing I can like I said human technology is fairly simple. Or really most other technology I've encountered that isn't Cybertronian." A bit of a superiority complex, yes. He winces a little, looking down to see that the floor is almost covered in his body fluids. "Let's hurry this area is pretty dangerous as I'm sure you can see."
Taylita       Taylita kicks the ship into high gear and it takes off like a shot toward the designated area. Once they reach it, Taylita brings her ship in low, close to the treetops. "A crashed ship would usually be easy to find, but in this place? It might be overgrown already." She turns the ship on its side so she can see the ground in addition to her sensors sweeping the area. Of course...this might throw Blurr against a wall.

"Let me know if you see them!" she says over the intercomm as she begins a search pattern. "Or, do you think we'll have to go down? ...are you gonna bleed to death or anything like that?"
Blurr     "I found the crash site already but some of them had gone to search for a Union outpost." Blurr tells her, though that's a lie because they were actually looking for a Decepticon mining operation, which was probably responsible for shooting the ship down. But you know, classified information.

"I think we're going to have to go down there and search, the foliage is too thick. And no I'm not going to leak out okay just don't worry about m-me." Though he stammers a bit at the end.
Taylita       Taylita huffs softly. "Alright, but if you deactivate or something, don't come crying to me." she says as she rights the ship then brings it in to hover again. "Let's get down there." she says as she walks back into the cargo hold, then opens the doors again. She leaps right out like falling from 100 feet up is no problem. Which, it isn't, because she can fly. "Do you need any help down?" she asks as she floats outside the ship, looking back at Blurr.
Blurr     No, Blurr doesn't need help. He's one of those people who um...has issues with accepting help, even in the state he's in. "No I've got it don't worry." he says, as he jumps down as well, using his rear boosters to lessen the impact a bit. But wow, he looks even worse now than he did when she first picked him up.
Taylita       Taylita is a bit worried about Blurr, but she can recognize pride when she sees it. She has a lot of pride herself. She follows Blurr down, then looks around. "So, that way, right?" she says, pointing, then heads off in that direction without really waiting. "We have to hurry! Who knows what kind of shape they are in!" Taylita says as she kicks and punches her way through the undergrowth. Some of which kicks or punches or bites back! She is doing alright until...SNAP! A giant flytrap type plant snaps at her, and she disappears inside its mouth.
Blurr     "Well there are some tracks here, evidence of--" Whoops, there goes Taylita, as a giant flytrap seems to have decided to make a dinner out of her. "S-slag it!" Blurr's weaponry are suddenly summoned out of his arms, and he opens fire on its stem, aiming to blast that particular trap off of the rest of the plant.
Taylita       The sides of the pod that has her start stretching and shaking as Taylita tries to escape, but it's a tough plant, made for catching tough prey. Luckily, Blurr is there to do some weeding! The still closed pod falls to the ground, then after more frantic squirming, it is finally forced open by Taylita. She looks...annoyed. And the acids from the plant have started burning her skin and disolving her clothes. "Guuh...thanks." she says to Blurr before she tries to wipe herself off. Her skin turns red in several places, but her tough saiyan hide keeps her from being hurt beyond a mild burn.

Undeterred, Taylita presses onward. Being more careful of the plantlife. "Tracks. Got it." she says as she goes, trying to act like that didn't just happen.
Blurr     Hm, it seems Taylita is a lot like Blurr in her determination to keep going despite injury. "You okay?" he asks, but she doesn't really have to give a direct answer to that. Right, got it. She's certainly no sissy. "Um, yeah." he points to the ground, where tire tracks can be seen. "We'll try following these, I think we should be pretty close by now." And in fact, he spots the distress beacon sitting in a bush nearby. "It's the beacon, yeah we should -really- be close."
Taylita       When the beacon is pointed out, Taylita stops, then looks around. "Helloooooo?" she calls out loudly before she continues following the tracks. "If you can hear me, this is a search and rescue party! Don't be afraid! If you can hear me, call back to us! I'm Taylita, from the Union, and I have some guy named Blurr with me!"

Then, Taylita waits for a response.
Blurr     They follow the tracks for a few minutes, then come to a pseudo-clearing. Well actually upon closer examination, the clearing was recently formed by a firefight involving giant robots. There's scorched foliage, blackened patches of ground, and broken trees. And up against a large boulder is what looks like a badly mangled car. But actually it's a partially transformed Cybertronian, who is dead. As they come closer, they would find the rest of the remains of the search party.

A sound like a sigh comes from Blurr, which is actually air cycling through his vent systems as he lowers his opics. "They're dead."
Taylita       Taylita sees the mangled bodies, but it isn't until Blurr says they are dead that she seems to get it. "But...they're robots. Can't robots just be fixed and then they are alright?" she says as she slowly approaches the partially transformed bot and places a hand on his hood/chest. "...robots that actually die..." She looks like the gravity of the situation is not lost on her. "What were they doing out here? Who were they fighting?"
Blurr     Blurr shakes his head. "To a certain degree, yes but just like humans have their limits, so do we. Our limits just aren't as strict as humans', I guess." He then starts to sift through the remains, dismantling the bodies and detaching any parts that may be worth salvaging.

As for the question of who they were fighting, "Decepticons. We've been at war with them for millions of Earth years." he shakes his head. "No surprise they joined the Confederacy after the Unification."
Taylita       Blink. "MILLIONS?!" Taylita exclaims in disbelief. "How can you have been fighting for MILLIONS of years?! Geeze. I guess wars are as long as the lifetimes of the people fighting them." Taylita shakes her head, then crosses her arms over her chest. "Well...I guess we should get them back to...wherever..so they can be given the proper burial rites. Or however you guys do things." she says, then looks up. "My ship could probably cut away the foliage so we can retrieve them. Are they all here? There's no survivors?"
Blurr     "You've got that right." The speedster replies to her comment about the war. "Dying is...a lot harder to do for us than it is for most organics. It's a long story."

Blurr shakes his head again. "No, they're all dead. We'll handle the memorials." he continues to strip the bodies for parts. "Think these will fit in your ship's cargo bay?" he asks.
Taylita       It's a weird feeling, watching someone taking components off of dead Transformers. She knows they are robots, and that they are dead, and that those parts could help other robots, but...somehow it just feels wrong. These aren't her people, though, so she doesn't voice that concern. "Maybe. Depending on how small you can make yourself. The smaller components we might be able to move into the other areas of the ship. Not that there are a lot of other areas."

She pulls a remote out of her pocket, and after a few clicks on it, she looks up again. "Might want to stand near me for this part. And duck." she says.

Right before lasers start cutting into the canopy above the clearing, making an area large enough for the ship to come down. It lowers until it is low enough that Blurr can reach up and just put components into the hold, which has its doors open and ready.
Blurr     Blurr is quick to respond as always, even in his injured state. Once the ship has come closer to the ground, he begins loading the parts up. "We can take them to Autobot City. Or to Ark-32. That is, if this thing has quantum jump capabilities. If not we can get them into my ship and I'll deliver them." He quirks a brow at Taylita when she looks kind of disconcerted, though. "What? This bother you?"
Taylita       Taylita blinks, then turns away a bit and waves a hand. "I'll get over it. No different from taking the guns off of a fallen soldier." she says before floating up and into the ship. "I don't have any kind of jump capabilities, so I guess you'll have to take them. My ship isn't big enough to hold everything anyway. Just you and a few components. But, why do we need jump capabilities? Is there no warp gates near Ark-32?"
Blurr     "Oh, right." Blurr shakes his head. "Sorry, I forgot about those." He packs as many parts as he can into the cargo bay. "Oh you know I don't think I ever got your name."
Taylita       Taylita blinks again, then giggles. "I told you when I first brought you back to my ship. You must be more rattled than I thought." she says, then smiles. "It's Taylita." she says as she floats just outside the ship's door. Then, she gets serious again. "I'm sorry about your friends. But, it looks like they died honorable deaths, fighting hard."
Blurr     "Pleasure to meet you, Taylita." Blurr then looks a bit sheepish at the fact that he'd forgotten that she'd already introduced herself. And forgotten that warpgates existed, too, apparently. "Uh...sorry, I guess I'm just a little shaken up, that's all." he sighs again. "Thanks for the condolences. This kind of thing happens all the time, though. We just have to learn to cut our losses and move on."
Taylita       Taylita just smiles at the apology. "It's alright. You looked like you were a few minutes away from being a scrap pile yourself when I found you." she says. She looks around a moment, then back at Blurr. "Well, I guess that's all we can do here. Let's head back. You really should get some medical attention." she says, floating down to poke at a hole in Blurr's plating.
Blurr     Blurr nods. "Yeah, let's get going." he pauses, then turns back to her. "Thanks for the help. At first I almost thought you were going to insist that I get medical attention before I do anything." he chuckles. "But then you didn't. I app--" Yes, the speedster has quite a few holes in his plating. And he's been leaving trails of energon on the ground. At this point, he suddenly stasis locks, his optics going dark as he just flops over, collapsing into a metallic heap on the ground.
Taylita       Taylita barely keeps herself from freaking out when Blurr suddenly collapses. She killed him! That's what she thinks. How's she supposed to know the difference? She quickly picks Blurr up and hoists him into the cargo bay, closes it up, then races to the helm to get the ship moving. "Hang on, Blurr!" she says, gritting her teeth as she hits the gas and the ship takes off at a high rate of speed. "Don'tbedeaddon'tbedeaddon'tbedead!!" she is exclaiming as she races them toward the nearest warp gate and Njorun Station.
Blurr     Taylita needn't worry. She hasn't killed him with words. Blurr might not have much armor, but it would still take more than that to take him out. He's just...weakened. On their way back to the station, a few of his peripheral parts stir slightly, as if to reassure her that he isn't dead.
Taylita       Taylita doesn't really notice the twitching. She's driving, after all. But, her scanner still beeps, so she realizes he can't be dead. Which, while reassuring, doesn't decrease her urgency. Usually when people collapse, it isn't a good thing. So, she hurries as fast as her ship will carry her and the damaged Autobot to the medical bay of Njorun. Otherwise, she would have to try repairing him herself. Which...she wouldn't really complain about.
Blurr     They almost reached the warpgate when the monitoring equipment suddenly starts beeping very urgently. Tay's machinery doesn't know a whole lot about Cybertronians in particular, but they know enough to tell when an organism's systems have gone critical. It's the equivalent of someone having lost way too much blood...
Taylita       Finally, they reach the medbay. Taylita quickly contacts the medics and alerts them that she has a Cybertronian in critical condition. She makes sure the ship is safely docked, then helps them get Blurr loaded onto a proper-sized stretcher. She follows after the medical team as they take him in, and waits. "Please be alright..."
Blurr     Blurr is taken to the repair area for mechanical people, wherever that is, and as soon as he's been patched up he is on his feet again, disregarding any medics insisting that he spend some time in rest and recovery. Some of them can be pretty stubborn. But they can't really stop him. So there are some frustrated shouts as there's a WHOOSH and the doors suddenly open and the speedster dashes out. He doesn't wait for anything, not even himself, no.
Taylita       But, he's got someone -else- to contend with this time. Taylita didn't save this 'bot just so he could run back out and get beaten up again. When he dashes out, she's there to catch him and try to hold him back. "H-hey! I just got you back barely alive! You can't just rush back out! If you die, you can't help anyone else!!" she shouts as she holds on, trying with all her might to keep him there. "It's...just one day! Rest! Recouperate! Be ready for the next time!"
Blurr     Ah, but for all of Taylita's superhuman strength, it isn't exactly a match for a Cybertronian-sized person. She may be able to lift him up while he's unconscious, but when he's running like that? Nope.jpg.

Tay might just look like an ant trying to hold onto the back of a windup car. Except the windup car is nearing the speed of sound itself. Though he slows down just a bit when he realizes she's hanging onto him, because if he doesn't the G-forces might just tear her apart. "Hey let go of me you're going to get -yourself- killed! Protohatcher of Primus I'm fine okay!"
Taylita       Taylita refuses to let go. "You passed out! That's not okay!" she says as she is being pulled along, her body flailing a bit from the powerful movements. "And you still have holes everywhere!! You're just going to bleed out again or something!" At least she is genuinely concerned, even if her knowledge of Cybertronians is meager at best. "Even I wait to get healed up properly before going to my next battle!"

Blurr might not know it, but that is pretty major for a saiyan to wait between battles willingly.
Blurr     "NoIdon't,noIdon't." Blurr protests, denying everything. "And I won't leak again they patched me up see I'm fine now. I am healed up and I recover fast because you know I do everything fast right yeah." He finally stops, though, not wanting to accidentally hurt her.
Taylita       Taylita is a bit rattled after the wild ride, and it takes her a moment to realize they stopped. She blinks, then huffs. "You don't what? Listen? Are you sure you are a Cybertronian and not a Saiyan?" she says, still hanging on, since it seems to have worked. "Unless you have auto-repair systems, I'm not letting go until you are back in that room resting." she says, stubbornly clinging to Blurr's left arm. Or until she is hurt in some way, but she doesn't say that.
Blurr     "I don't have holes everywhere and I'm not going to leak out again." Blurr insists. "And what's a Saiyan anyway." Blurr huffs stubbornly as well, and folds his arms. Nope, he's not going back there. No way in the afterspark. "And actually I do have self-repairs so there!" He almost sounds...childish. Actually he does sound rather childish.
Taylita       "A Saiyan is me!" Taylita says, then flicks her monkey tail (which may have gone unnoticed somehow). But, when he says he -does- have self-repair abilities, she blinks. "Oh. Well...at least say you will take it easy for a day or two? No more getting eaten by plant?" she says, trying to give her best puppy dog eyes. Which probably doesn't look too puppy dog-like, since she has crazy spikey Saiyan hair and sharp features more appropriate for intimidating eyes.
Blurr     "Oh." Blurr tilts his head to side a bit. "So that's what you are. Well you know I can't put any kind of guarantee on the future since I have absolutely no idea what's going to happen, but you know I never -try- to get eaten by plants. Because that would just be embarrassing."

"Now let go of me so I can get back the Ark-32 without tearing you to pieces."
Taylita       Taylita huffs, but lets go of Blurr. "Don't forget, my name is Taylita." she says, floating into the air and crossing her arms over her chest. "And try not to get blasted or crushed or anything else for at least a day, okay? If you are self-repairing, it can't be an immediate thing, or you wouldn't have been in trouble when I found you."

With that said, the Saiyan floats back toward her ship. "Catch you later, Blurr." she says as she heads for the spaceship. "And...sorry again, about your friends." she says before she slips into the ship.
