Scene #1984: Sunburnt Metal Part 3

Natasha	Natasha's showing Chrys around Njorun Station while waiting for the others to show. It's certainly a lot different from their world. Still she figures her aunt would be interested seeing how it's pretty much a giant tree. She's still trying to figure out how to get into tbe Coliseum without attracting too much attention.
Fayt Ravus	After the craziness from last week, Fayt simply had to show up when the call went out, so he took a bit of time off rom work to make his way down to the roots, calling out and waving as he spots Natasha and Chrys. "Hey! We're meeting here, right?" Yes, Fayt took TIME OFF to deal with this things are that serious.
Freya	"Oh! This is pretty amazing Natasha!", Chrys says looking up at the huge tree. She puts her hand on the truck. "I see. You been keep watching over everyone here..", it almost looks like the plants around Chrys are looking at her.
Yuna Kagurazaka	"I hope I'm not late ..." Yuna says to herself as she hurries down Njorun Station from the main warpgate nexus. She thought she'd given herselef plenty of time, but travelling took longer than she anticipated, and then a couple of her fans recognized her on arrival at Njorun - never mind that she is an Elite and a Union Ally, she's still an idol singer and it would be bad form to brush her fans off without at least returning their greetings and letting them take a photo or two. She lets out a faint sigh of relief, though, as she approaches the spot where the group was going to meet and recognizes Natasha, Chrys, and Fayt already here. Not that Yuna's showing up alone, mind you: Elner and Yuna's three partners are here too, with the androids in their human guises at this point - much as Yuna herself is in civilian clothes.
Freya	"Oh you all came. I'm glad.", Chyrs says to the Fayt and Yuna. "Now I bet you all have lots of questions and we have much to discuss.."
Natasha	"Who are you talking to Auntie, the plants?" Natasha figures that's the case but you never can tell. She would be celebrating Fayt actually taking time off work if things weren't so serious right now. "Nope, you're not late Yuna, I'm glad you and your friends could make it. We're trying to figure out how to get into the Coliseum without attracting too much attention."
Freya	"No no. I don't talk to plants, that be silly Natasha. I just listen to them.'", Chrys says smiling.
Fayt Ravus	Fayt frowns. "So... what exactly is the Coliseaum?" A pause, then he ads, "Erm well... I get it's likely a coliseaum, but you're making sound like there's a bit more to it than that. Also I'm sorry but." He looks to Chrys. "Who are you and what was with the appearingo ut of nowhere thing?" Yes, Fayt remembers that, he's still kinda weirded out by it.
Freya	Chrys turns to Fayt. "It the collsium. I don't know what more I can say about it it just a big place where anything important happens, events or shows it holds alot of people. Don't you have any of those around here? The appearing things. That just a little trick I know", she smiles and winks a Fayt.
Yuna Kagurazaka	"Teleportation is a thing," Yuna says agreeably. "And however you got there, you showed up at a really good time, lady Chrys," she adds with a smile. Her smile is short-lived, though. "Alexandria said Freya's being put on trial for something ... what's she been accused of? What can we do to help - I mean really help, I assume breaking her out of jail is just postponing the inevitable if not actively making things worse ..."
Freya	Crys walks around a bit frowing. "I assume you all know about how my little girl can get quite big, she coudn't always do that. There was magical accident. Some people died... They threw her in jail while they tired to sort it out.. She broke out of jail by outgrowing it, then she paniced, making her way thought the city.."
Natasha	"Well, there's some plants around here that can talk. I think there's this girl who's a flower. We'll have to talk more about that later! Yeah, there was an accident, Freya and I were the only survivors." Natasha frowns a bit as she brings up that subject. "So that's what happened afterwards," She hadn't known herself. "We don't know where Freya's being held anyways, all we know is where the trial is at."
Freya	Chyrs just look at Natasha funny but doesn't comment. "..and breaking into jail and out of jail would be pretty challenging. Getting into the collesum should be a bit easyer. I still have some favors that need to be owed."
Yuna Kagurazaka	Yuna closes her eyes, sinking back against the 'wall' next to the rest of you. "So people died because of a series of accidents ... and they're going to blame Freya for it like everything was her fault, aren't they? We have to rescue her from murder charges, when she never wanted to hurt anybody ..." She falls silent, bowing her head.
Freya	Chrys walks over and puts her hand of Yuna shoulder "They just want someone to blame. Gernally there xenophoic.. I will not let my daughter be a scapegoat.. We will rescue her."
Fayt Ravus	Fayt frowns, the wink actually causing him to back away a step. "I see..." There's a sigh from Fayt. "Ok, so we need to get in." He pauses a moment ot think about this. "Xenophobes you say? Think a few credits can change some minds on that? They might recognise me thanks to Alexandria, but they probably don't know about my company. I might be able to get some of my employees to sneak us in, that is..." He looks ot Chrys and Natasha. "Assuming you don't already have something in mind?"
Freya	Chrys thinks on that. "We're still pretty isolated. I doupt they would reconise your form of currency.."
Natasha	"Well, we're going to have to deal with Alexandria too but we have to get inside first. Not really, all the ways I can think of involve force." Natasha's not the best person when it comes to be subtle after all. "We might have to use it at some point though. I doubt we can just sneak Freya out with all those people watching." She doubt this will end peacefully.
Freya	"Getting in easy. Getting out, might be a bit more challenging..", Chrys says.. "But if you do anything do it with a bit of flare!", she wavses her hand and all the flower around her go into full bloom!
Yuna Kagurazaka	"There's always the barter system," Yuna suggests. "If they don't exchange money with the rest of the Multiverse, I bet we can still find goods or supplies that they'd be willing to work with. Or I could do a concert or something - wouldn't be the first time I've started singing as a distraction," she adds with a wry grin, remembering the assault on the Salamander/Gnome fortress in ALO. This has nothing to do with the way she reaches up to rub her forehead, why would you think something silly like that?
Fayt Ravus	FAyt lets out a tiny yelp at Chrys' little show, moving just a bit closer to Yuna in the process. Fayt might be quickly coming ot the conclusion that Chrys is scary. "Barter works. Could throw a bunch of gold and jewels at 'em. or booze, I've learned that cna be really effective." Apparnetly Fayt also remembers that little ordeal in ALO.
Freya	"You can sing Yuna? I love to hear you sometime! I bet my daughter loved your shows.. Everyone likes jewels and gold and cupcakes. Espcally cupcakes.", Chrys hmm and ponders.
Natasha	"Cupcakes...maybe you could grow a sleeping herb and put it in the cupcakes! Though we would need a lot of cupcakes." Natasha has somewhat of an idea at east. "Can you put people to sleep with your singing Yuna?" She's not quite sure what she's capable of.
Freya	"A sleeping spell that large would take alot of power..", Chyrs ponders. "..and there might be people that don't fall asleep."
Yuna Kagurazaka	Yuna smiles, fingering one of the freshly-blossomed flowers that Chrys's magic/powers just opened. "Yeah, I'm an idol singer," she says to Chrys. "That was actually my 'first job,' before I got picked to be the Queen of Light's champion." She stands up straight again, half-consciously brushing off her back where she was leaning against the now-flowery wall. "So setting aside our method of approach ... what ARE we doing? Is there a way we can stand up for Freya at the trial and make it stick - outright prove that Freya is innocent, so she never has to go through this again? Or are we just busting in, rescuing her, and busting back out while they're trying to figure out what they're up against?" She shakes her head at Natasha, "I could sing lullabys at them, but my singing isn't magical ... much as I wish I could do that," she admits ruefully. But then, she's run into enough singers and other musicians who actually COULD work magic through their music - mostly Confederates, but not exclusively.
Freya	Chrys sighs. "Proably out best option is to try and bust in and try and convince them to and try and prove my daughter is innncoent but they might not listen to that, then we can just get her out of there.. If we make enough of a show I doupt they would try again."
Fayt Ravus	"Um..." Fayt says. "Well considered the roofie cupcakes a backup plan?" There's a long, awkward pause, then "Seriously though, if we need a ride in, just tell me how big a ship and how many bribes I'll need and I'll handle the rest."
Freya	"Can you make the ship insivible Fayt?", Chyrs says thinking.
Natasha	"Yeah, considering all the people that saw Freya in the captial, I doubt we can change everyones' minds." Natasha doesn't think that's possible. "We would better off trying to show going after her is a bad idea. I don't think most would try though, I mean they had to make Alexandria huge to pull it off. Speaking of which, I wonder what people are going to think when they see her." She knows that people on her world aren't that welcoming of the unusual.
Fayt Ravus	"Invisible?" Fayt slowly tilts his head to the side before nodding. "Yeah, cloaking devices, could put a request out on the Union boards, see if one of the officers can clear me for a little military hardware. Failing that I could try to enchant a ship but that'd take a lot of power at that size..."
Freya	"Bless you Fayt! That would make out escape alot easyer..", Chrys says smiling.
Fayt Ravus	FAyt nods slowy. "I'll find someone who's willing to be the pilot for this... so are things settled then? Bribe our way in? Grab Freya, run like hell, escape via invisible ship? That about right? When do we need to be ready?"
Yuna Kagurazaka	"I'd be happier if we could resolve this less violently and more conclusively," Yuna admits. "I mean, getting their attention is one thing - but if we have to bust Freya out of there the hard and probably-violent way ... we don't really want to add to the body count that they'll probably be just as happy to pile onto the charges against her, right? If they're irrational enough to accuse her of deliberately killing everyone who died because of accidents she was at the center of, they'd probably blame her for anyone we hurt when we're trying to rescue her." She looks at Chrys. "Could you ... I dunno, make the grass around there turn into poppies or something else that'll put people to sleep before we get in close?"
Freya	"From my contacts we have a few days thankfully.", Chrys says. "But that does sound like a plan." ,she shakes her head. "I can only work with what plants are around, and if your thinking of tossing seeds on the grould that doesn't work they have to be planted as well."
Natasha	"I wonder if we could get them to focus their attention on Alexandria somehow." Natasha figures there might be a way to use Alexandria's size against her. "And even if the ship's invisible we aren't." That could be a problem. "Plus, all Alexandria has to do is hurl metal everywhere and she's bound to hit the ship eventually." She figures this isn't going to be as simple as it sounds.
Freya	"We got a few days to think on it anyway", Chrys says. "We got a plan. That's good."
Fayt Ravus	Fayt frowns. "So a metal mage?..." he looks to Yuna. "I can try to enchant the ship to repel metal, though we'd likely want a destraction to keep her from focusing on the ship, can you help with that?"
Yuna Kagurazaka	Yuna nods, "Yeah, I could stage an impromptu concert. Might want to get a new dress for this ..." It'd be a good excuse to see if Tomoyo has some time to spare, too. And if Yuna wants to do eye-catching - Why is she blushing? Even if it's just slightly, it's still noticeable.
Natasha	"Well, it sounds like we have a plan then! Now we just have to get things ready!" Natasha's clearly excited about all this. Of course the sooner they rescue Freya, the better.
Fayt Ravus	Fayt nods. "I'll get a report up and start trying to get an officer's ear hopefully I can get hold of what we need. I'll also have to do some testing with metal, figure out how to keep the ship fro mgetting shot down." He looks over at Natasha. "She jsut makes metal right? She can't control metal that's laying around like say... the big metal ship we'll likely be using?"
Natasha	"No, she can't control metal. Otherwise she would have likely sent a bunch of buildings at us." Natasha shakes her head that. Alexandria might be tough but she's not that capable. "Of course she could just lift a car or something and throw it. Except we don't have cars where we're from."
