Rarity This is Ponyville. It's full of ponies! Colorful magical talking ponies. Doing ... pretty much the same things that everyone else does in their day, actually. Ponyville itself had a bit of an older quaint feel to it, with most of the buildings being made out of stone and wood, with thatched roofs. More elaborate exterior design was usually saved for places of actual business, like the bakery in middle of town that had rooftops decorated to look like cupcakes, or the library inside a giant hollow oak. Or the tall building out towards the residential part of town that resembles a fancy merry-go-round.

Rarity on the other hoof was just on her way back from a trip to the spa. "Such a quiet day. For once. Maybe I shall take the scenic route.
Dukemon X Equastria...
Duke had no idea what he was getting into beyond whatever Alexis could explain about the place, which was a land pretty much of magic, ponies, and more ponies! Also possibly dragons. Oh, and they talked and did things like people!

It was like the Digital World right? Not that he really remembers the Digital World well, but he can imagine this must be what it was like before Yggdrasil got a stick up in the wrong place. Stupid digital god. Grr.

So coming to Ponyville comes the strangest of things, a Guilmon X-- a dragon-dino monster with a sleek red body, white underbelly, long claws, gold eyes, and ear fins. He wasn't wondering around two quickly mostly cause he was either waiting for those to catch up with him that may have come here with /him/, or for those to at last make their way /here/.

It wasn't far from the warpgate right? So it shouldn't be hard for them to find him-- or this place.
Sanary Rondel     A land of small talking horse people. That was pretty much the only thing Sanary could recall hearing about the place, but Duke /did/ invite her and someone called Sanae. It couldn't be that strange, could it?

Arriving at the warp gate in a purple three-piece suit with her usual eyepatch on, the healer takes a slow look around before spotting the familiar back of the Guilmon X. There's a moment of hesitation as she debates whether or not to try and surprise Duke, but she eventually decides against it after getting a closer look at everything else in the immediate surrounding area.

Colors! Bright colors. More colors than Sanary could ever have expected. She rubs her eye briefly just to make sure she's seeing it clearly before approaching Duke, an uncertain tone in her voice. "Hey, Duke. Is this the place? It's very... Bright here, ain't it?"
Guest Dash     What's more, the sky of Equestria is almost an idealistic looking blue, with a few dots of puffy white clouds here and there. The air is pleasantly spring-like, with a warm evening sun and just a hint of coolness. While most places that are coming out of winter still have patches of browns and yellows, the grasses here are bright and green and speckled with dandilions.

But judging from the occassional sneeze coming from the village down the road of the warp-gate, they still have allergies here.

But not all is bright and cheerful in Ponyville. Specifically because it looks like there's a bit of a storm building up. Literally, in this case: There is the occasional flit of color as a winged pony flies up to the growing cloud base with dark puff of cloud to shove it up with the rest of them.

Amongst the brightly colored ponies is one in specific with rainbow streaked hair and a cerulean coat that nearly matches the bright blue sky. She darts down away from the clouds, twisting and looping down in excitement. "HEY RARITY!" Rainbow Dash calls out, just as she performs a loop above the white unicorn's head. Dash backwings to hover to a stop, half turning in mid-air. "Check out the storm! We've got some seriously fiesty clouds from Cloudsdale this time!"

But just then, Dash pauses. She blinks, squinting down the road to peer ahead her eagle-like eyesight. "Uh, you expecting any off-world visitors?"
Doran Doran really didn't want to do much of anything today. He's still sore and grumpy from his hunting trip gone bad, and he just wanted to find a nice hole to crawl into and sleep. However, it was not to be as just about everyone on Alexis' ranch conspired to have Duke drag him off on his next adventure. Even Ryuu (the traitor)!

So it is with significantly less enthusiasm that Doran follows Duke out of the Warpgate, not exactly full on Scrooge in grouchiness but not especially thrilled either. The Dorumon appears to be a wolf-raptor monster about 4 to 4.5 feet tall, with a bushy fox-like tail and square muzzle. He also has purple fur, white points and underbelly, golden eyes, and black-tipped ears. He even has tiny black bat-wings!

He does pause as he looks around, sniffing the air. This location strongly reminds him of the nursery villages back in the Digital World, even down to the cheery atmosphere and how vibrant the area seems. Even his coat seems to be a much brighter shade of violet than usual.

He huffs softly and cants his gaze over to Duke. "I take it you had some idea of what you were doing before dragging me out here?" Though his voice does have a growling undertone, it doesn't sound like he's seriously and truly annoyed. More gruff and bark, honestly.
Rarity Rarity stops and lifts her head as she hears Rainbow Dash yell at her. Then looks at the bank of storm clouds and sighs a bit. "Please tell me that is for tonight, it would be a shame to ruin such a lovely day just for some rain."

Then she turns her head to the side to look down the road. "No, but I've heard different mentions of visiting Equestria so." She shrugs her shoulders a little. ".. Quite and assortment by the look of it, too."

A few ponys stop and peer at Duke or Doran... but dragons are totally a thing in Equestria, so they're mostly wrote off as being some variation there of (one has wings after all!) and go about their business.
Dukemon X Duke ear fins perk up as he hears Sanary and smiles to her. The Guilmon was only four foot two, so he wasn't all that big. He /would/ have on the jacket, but he left it back at the ranch cause it got a bit dirty and apparently needed to be cleaned. Curse of clothing right?

"Hey Sanary!" He waves his large paw claw hand to her, then his gold eyes look over to Doran, "Oh, stop being such a grump." He gently pokes Doran's shoulder with his tail tip. "And no. Not really." He then puts on a big smile over that muzzle of his. "But it will be fun either way! Its peaceful here and... and all these places to explore!"

He clawed hands motion to the what is the Bakery's roof. "I mean, look at that building! You could almost eat it!" Duke blinks and his ear fins droop slightly. "...now I'm hungry again..."

Duke then looks back at Sanary, "I guess it is bright? I find it pretty nice!" He says with his ear fins perking back up and standing up a bit more straight. Though his eyes peer over at the Ponies who are looking at them. He looks back and then watches them go about their business.

There was a deep inhale before he hops a few times, "This is awesome!" He then hops around Doran, "Come on!" Then goes take Sanary by the hand (only for a bit), "Lets go!" Then the Guilmon X quickly goes to make his way down the road and he will be soon right where Rares and Dash are hanging out. "This is amazing!!" He roars out, with a bit of laughter in his voice.
Sanary Rondel     "New jacket? Hm. Looks good on ya." Chuckling lightly as she returns the wave, Sanary glances from Duke to Doran before offering him the same wave in greeting. "Hey. Friend of Duke's, too, I guess? Good to meet ya." Although there's still a hint of uncertainty in her voice, it seems to be more from her surroundings than at Doran specifically.

"Yeah, the buildings here... Ah, I could probably fit. Don't think whoever built 'em would appreciateus eating the roofs, though." Plus, the sanitary issues involved with that. She peers around slowly to squint at the buildings for a moment, eventually spotting the... Flying multi-colored horses?

"That's something. Uh. Kinda hurts, doesn't it? Andis that a-whoa!" Taken off guard by the Guilmon's excitement, she settles into the pace of jogging after him, then following his voice after turning her eye off. It's easy enough to hear where he's going, at least, and the colors...

    The /colors/.
Doran Doran just plants a front paw over his muzzle in a facepalm as Duke mentions being hungry. "You're always hungry," he mutters, knowing that Duke will neither hear nor care. He also does his best to completely ignore Duke bouncing around him, though a smile still crosses his muzzle all the same.

He's being a grump on principle, don't mind him. That said, at least they aren't getting /too/ many strange looks, being outsiders and all.

As Duke draws them along, he inclines his head in a nod to Sanary. "I am, yes, and same to you." He nods towards Duke. "He does this a lot, don't mind him."
Guest Dash "Half and half," Rainbow Dash says, shrugging her shoulders. "Some sort of new thing since Princess Luna came back; gotta have storms that's part evening and part night sometimes." She points a forehoof up towards the sky. "This sucker's due to start lighting up the sky in an hour!" Equestrian weather, the only kind that's actually exact.

"Don't look now, but they're coming this way," Dash says in undertone, "Keep an eye out for P-I-N-K-I-E." The last is spelled out, in case somehow spelling the word might summon... something.

But as the group approaches, Dash brightens a bit. She raises a hoof, waving at the group of Duke, Sanary and Doran. "Hey! You new here?"
Rarity "Okay you do that Dashie, and I'll keep an eye out for the rain!" It's like no sooner than she's just referenced and there Pinkie Pie is. With part of her mane pushed under an umbrella hat. With the Cakes' twin babies sitting on her back with baby sized umbrella hats and adorable little golashes on all four of their hooves. "When is the rain suppose to start, anyways? We're waiting for puddles to jump in!"

It's gotten to the point of familiarity that Rarity only flinches a little when Pinkie Pie pops up almost literally out of thin air. Which is followed by a sigh. "Pinkie Pie, it will take time after it starts raining for puddles to actually form. You are aware of that, right?"

"Oh of course." Pinkie Pie gives a dismissive wave of her own rubber boot clad hoof. "That's why I brought plenty of snacks for this weather watch!"
Dukemon X Duke spins around in place as he points one hand index claw at Sanary, then another at Doran, "Sanary, Dorna! Doran, Sanary!" Cause he forgot to do this when they arrived in all his excitement. The Guilmon X hops back around, before slowing down a bit as he notices Rarity and a very multicolored mare (can you call them mares??), named Rainbow Dash.

He waves back to Rainbow Dash, "We are, yes! Twilight Sparkle invited me and I invited them," He motions back to the group, "...and they may have invited others..." He sounds a bit more unsure about that one, before he looks back to Dash. "So here we are!" Paws up in the air and big smile on his face.

Duke then motions to himself as he tries to stand up straight. "I'm Duke!" He then motions back at the other two, "That is Doran and Sanary!" The Guilmon X's earfins perk back up, "Its a pleasure to meet you both, uh," Then there is Pinkie. "...three." He blinks and looks over to Doran, then to Sanary before he leans back with a mild whisper, "...did either of you two see where she came from?"
Sanary Rondel     "Figured that was Doran. Good to see someone's around to keep an eye on you when I'm not around, then." Chuckling lightly while starting to relax, Sanary shrugs at Doran lightly. "Eh, I'm actually kinda hungry myself. You know if they have... Uh." She doesn't finish that sentence, instead turning at the sound of Dash's voice She ponders turning her eye back on just to get a visual on whomever it is, but...

Maybe later. "Uh. Hey there. Yeah, we're visiting. Good to meet ya." She raises her hand in greeting as Duke says her name, not surprised by the initial appearance of Pinkie Pie thanks to having her eye turned off. It's when she speaks up that the healer jumps in place slightly, her jaw clenching somewhat while leaning forward to lower her voice in response to Duke. "I turned it off a little while ago. Uh. What was that sound before?" Forcing a neutral expression, she manages to crack an awkward smile and wave towards the unfamiliar voices before whispering to Duke and Doran once more.

    "Are we under attack?"
Rarity "Only by Pinkie Pie's random acts of randomess," Rarity deadpans at the comment about being attacked.

"But if you've already met Twilight Sparkle that explains why you don't appear to be too startled by the nature of our quaint corner of Equestria." Doesn't matter if its a casual chance encounter, the white unicorn still makes a flamboyant bow with one foreleg held across her chest. "I am Rarity, the finest fashion designer in Ponyville."

And aruptly Pinkie Pie is right up against Duke, leaning close to the raptor-digimon with one hoof held up aside her muzzle as if telling a big secret. "She's the only one, too." The Twins are still on her back and Pound, the little white pegasus baby, seems to notice Doran nearby as he's making little 'gabby' motions like babies do at Doran's little wings with his forlegs.
Guest Dash Whatever suspicion or hesitancy that Rainbow Dash may have had evaporates when Duke mentions Twilight Sparkle. "You know Twi, huh?" The brightly colored pegasus flashes them a cocky grin. "Well then cool to meet ya! Name's Rainbow Dash, the best flier this side of Cloudsdale!" And just to show that she's not just boasting, she quickly flips her wings back and loops around once. Twice. Three times in the course of a couple of seconds. "And pretty much anywhere else in Equestria!"

Okay, THAT may be boasting.

And then, Pinkie Pie. Rainbow Dash groans, slapping a hoof over her face. "Yeeeaah, that's Pinkie Pie. Not the mask wearing Pinkie; this one's ours." A pause. "It's weird, I don't question it; it makes my head hurt." Like the concept of Pinkie Pie in the first place. "Rain's not for another half hour, Pinks. You're way early!"

Rainbow twists in mid air to grin at the newcomers again. "We're pretty cool with visitors. Juuust so long as you're not here to blow stuff up, then we'll have to kick your flanks." Dash is probably not joking, but despite being athletic looking, she's still just a cute, four foot tall, chibi-like pegasus with rainbow hair.
Yari Takane Out of the Warp Gate walks a red-and-black clad armored woman. The one-armed Au Ra Yari Takane pauses as she looks around the beautiful city of Ponyville, taken aback. Partially blinded from the full spectrum of Pony-land colors, and partially just confused, from the way the woman's tail twitches and things devolve into a singularly unhappy conversation on her radio, this /isn't/ where she was expecting to be. Irritated Yari's are irritated.

Then, finally, she just shrugs. Aetheric readings are aetheric readings, and on that bit she has a good feeling about the place. Taking off her helmet with a bit of work, she snaps it on a belt, and holds her armlet out in front of her. A little holographic screen pops up, as she starts to scan and try to get a reading for particularly large spikes of magic in the area.

Which she finds, enough so to have the ninjette leaping her way up to the top of a rooftop, and generally trying to sneak her way over to the group of magical signals! She has to tap her armlet every now and then, half worried it'll overheat. Even so, she's collecting juicey data.
Sanae Kochiya     If there's one outsider that's used to bright colors, it would be Sanae Kochiya. Well, maybe not quite this vibrant, since as she emerges through the travel gate, she does lift a hand to shade her eyes while they adjust to the sudden difference. After she's done flinching though, her mouth contorts into an unsaid 'oooh'. The greens are so green, the blues are so blue. The pure tones somehow remind her of the old CRT television she used to play video games on -- and maybe some cartoons before school. Unnoticed by her, it also makes her own hair an almost glaringly dense emerald green, though her priestess robes that she's wearing while on the visit ward her from the brunt of the magical atmosphere. Ward is such a standoffish term, though. We'll go with magical handshakes.

Taking a few moments to leaf through some manner of pocket handbook, she refamiliarizes herself with some of the local features, fussing in the ways only a proper tourist can. After that, though, she seems to give a shrug of her bare shoulders, returning it to its place in the interest of just, exploring! The settlement nearby is an obvious enough place to start, and she starts striding forward, gawking at all the native architecture as she goes, and exchanging warm smiles with any of the locals that might meet her gaze. They're all cute - but from what she'd be read it'd probably be rude to gush over that fact too much. She'll just do her best to remain respectful. Sometimes, when one of the resident ponies doesn't seem as busy, she does stop for a moment to wonder, "Excuse me! Have you seen a dinosaur about 'this' high wander by?"

There is a momentary distraction, as she could have sworn she felt something pass by -- a something that would be noneother than Yari, also making her own unique way into town. It's soon dismissed as likely just her imagination, since the magic of this place is messing with her own internal shrine maiden radars as it is.
Dukemon X Duke shakes his head to Sanary, "No. We are not under attack, cause if we were... I'd probably be..." Then suddenly Pinkie Pie and Duke makes a squawk like sound in surprise as he nearly falls over. He just stares at her wide eyes and gives a very nervous smile. "Riight."

Duke scoots back a bit, then looks to Rarity. "Its a pleasure to meet you, Rarity," Then looks to Rainbow Dash, "Rainbow Dash." Duke then scratches his muzzle gently and looks at Pinkie, "...and you too."

His gold eyes look between Dash and Rarity about then, "And uh, to correct that story... I spoke to her on the radio, not really /met/, but I had a friend who filled me about this place so I... wouldn't make to much of an idiot of myself." He says with a bit of a nervous laugh. Then he blinks and looks at Rarity, "I think I spoke to you last night too!"

He rubs the back of his neck about then, "Sorry I didn't remember right away... was trying to forget that jerk and his prog---ma--" then a pause as he looks up trying to remember how to say the word. "..his.." another pause, "Mighty then thou." Yeah. That will have to do. "The guys a real jerk." This is followed by a huff of smoke from his nostrils.

About then Duke takes notice of something up on the buildings, or he thinks he does, "Huh?" He blinks his gold eyes a few times and then with his eye ridges furrowing he slips by them all and then makes his way into more of the town power. The Digimon was locked onto something and he has yet to see Sanae.
Sanary Rondel     "Oh. Okay, that's... Better, I guess?" Rarity's response does make Sanary feel slightly better, at least, even though she still appears to a little jumpier than she was prior to the pink one's appearance. Pumping just enough energy into the eye to reactivate it with that light sheen reappearing over it, the healer half-closes her eye to give herself more time to adjust to the shock from all the colors.

So many colors. It's still enough of a shock to warrant dialing back on the energy flow just to keep it under control.

"There we go... I'm Sanary. Healer, security g... Guard? Officer? Er. Security something." She returns the bow with a quick salute, glancing around slowly and keeping her eye half-open. She definitely seem more comfortable looking around that way, and she even manages to offer Dash the same salute before flinching slightly at the pink creature's sudden appearance by Duke. "Holy sh-mm. Good meeting you too, Rainbow. Do you not normally get visitors here or...?" Casting her gaze upwards, the healer furrows her brow slightly at the storm clouds before comparing them to the sky in the opposite direction.

"The weather here /is/ pretty nice, yeah... Don't worry. We don't have any plans to blow anything up. No point to doing it, anyway." She doesn't keep her eye on the ponies for too long, glancing upwards every now and then. "So those buildings there. Do you have tools to fit your... Feet or whatever? Looks like it'd be hard to build stuff without... Uh." It's probably better that she doesn't finish that sentence. Although she does glance up at the sound of something on the rooftops, she doesn't seem to actually notice where the source of the sound is going from.
Rarity ".. Oh, yes, you were the one confusing Spikes. And Spike.. So still Spike's'." Rarity pauses, tapping her chin with a forehoof. ".. I'm not quite sure the proper venacular for plurals of more than one Spike when one already uses Spikes as a name. Spikii? Oh heavens no, that's just rediculous."

"Yeah, it would be a lot easier to tell apart if they were being written out instead." Pinkie Pie shrugs. "Except I left my felt board at home because I didn't want it to get wet, so no alternate media image spots today sorry."

Rarity just stares at the pink pony in that 'What the hay did you just say?' sort of look that Pinkie Pie's weird comments tend to cause.
Yari Takane Eep! Yari notes Duke heading in her general direction. She quickly leaps from the roof into a back alleyway, landing with only the lightest of clawclicks. Then, easy as can be, she walks out from behind the alley.

Ponies. The sources of horrifical magic power was /ponies/. Yari blinks, however; aside from Duke, she knows someone here! Glancing over Rarity and Dash, she finally speaks up and waves a hand.

"Glory and honor!" She calls out as she gets closer.

Then she's snapping a salute. "Sanary. Mister Duke."

Her gaze turns to the ponies in attendance.

"Ah. Greetings." She comes, slightly more subdued. Poor Yari seems a little bewildered by it all.
Sanae Kochiya     After a bit more wandering, and assuming ponies have gift shops or some analog, spending some of her windfall from that last job to pick up an armful of souvenirs and swag, Sanae finally spots Duke! He's honestly a little bit hard to miss, along with his entourage, since much like her they stick out like sore thumbs in this landscape. ...well, maybe he himself blends in a little better, somehow. "Duuuke," she hollers, possibly a bit embarassingly boisterous as she waves a free hand! Otherwise unhurriedly, she continues pacing up, still beaming out a radiant smile, though it has an apologetic tinge to it. "Sorry I'm late! Miss Kanako had to close a business deal, and then I had so many chores to do. I had some free time after all, though, so I figured I'd stop by!"

A similarly warm expression is given to their hooved hosts, as well as - presumably - the other friends that Duke had invited. Self-consciously, she then glances at her pile of baubles, and shifts them to try and slightly place them at her back, scratching a cheek lightly with the index finger of her other hand. "Uhm, so..ponies! It's good to meet you. Your world is beautiful, even the storm clouds!" If he doesn't protest too much or pull away, she reached out her free hand to also give Duke a playfully light scratching to the top of his head. "I feel a bit out of place, eheh.. My name is Sanae Kochiya!"

She's then distracted for a moment, by Yari in particular. That feeling earlier.. ..hmm. "Are you a dragon," she wonders, eyes fixated on the more extraneous parts of her anatomy? "..of all the things in Gensokyo, there's not really any dragons."
Doran Doran has been taking everything in stride as it happens, from introductions to random acts of something-or-another. This whole experience seems to be warming him a little from his earlier grouchiness, even just a bit. He is also mildly amused that he and Duke are currently perfectly-sized for this world. What are the chances of that?

"It's good to meet all of you," he finally speaks up for himself, bowing his head and ears lowering in a gesture of respect. Contrary to Duke's child-like enthusiasm, the Dorumon seems more mature in comparison.

Pound's grabby-hooves towards Doran does not escape his notice, and the purple Digimon makes an exaggerated look over himself as if trying to find what the baby Pegasus is so interested in. His ears perk as his head twists to look at his wings, which flap a few times in response.
Dukemon X Duke may have missed some of the craziness of what Rarity was going on about, simply because he was distracted by Ninja. Though when Yari shows herself he almost growls on instinct and then realizes its her, "Oh hey Yari!" He says then with a smile.

Then--- there is a voice and his earfins perk, a glow in his gold eyes, as he goes to look over his shoulder as he hears his name called, "Sanae!" He says with a bright smile and quickly turns to face her, almost running up to her. "Its good to see you Sanae!" When she reaches down to scratch the top of his head, his earsfins go back, his eyes close, and he makes a draconic like purring sound.

That dinosaur-lizard tail moving side to side slowly in contentment for the attention given to him by the warm gesture of the young woman. Though when his eyes open he sniffs the air, before he tries to peer around her to see what it was she was hiding, "Did you buy something?" Curious Duke is curious.

For now, he'll leave Doran to play with the babes and perhaps amuse Rarity. He is distracted by Sanae and her shinnies.
Yari Takane Yari straightens a little. "A...dragon?" Bliiiink. She coughs.

"No. I am an Au Ra, Ma'am. No connection to dragons." Her words are a little stiff, here. Dragons don't exactly have a great reputation in Hydaelyn right now.

It's Duke! Yari smiles a bit. "Hello Mister Duke. Your morale seems high!" She snaps him a salute as well, before she's turning to Sanae and the others.
Sanary Rondel     Although she didn't notice Yari earlier, Sanary definitely notices her now. "Eh? Hey, Yari!" Perking up at the familiar face, she taps two fingers against just above her forehead, and even snickers slightly at her reaction to the ponies. "Ah, don't worry. They won't bite... I think." She casts an uneasy glance towards Pinkie Pie in particular, but tries to keep it relatively subtle.

"... Right? Unless you do. Then... Don't bite us. That'd be great." There's an awkward chuckle before she turns to Sanae, recoiling briefly at spotting her hair before managing a quick salute. "H-hey,Sanae. So that's what you look like. Wasn't expecting..." She trails off and gestures at her own head, flicking a strand of her away from her face to emphasize the hair.

"Is that natural, or...? I mean, I've seen green hair back home, but not like... Like /that/." She sounds genuinely surprised, and pauses for a moment before continuing. "Er. No offense."
Rarity The wing flap gets a happy burble out of Pound Cake (yes seriously this is their actual names) and he flutters his own tiny wings briefly. Just enough to bounce on Pinkie Pie's backside.

Then with a *bomf* Doran has a baby unicorn on his head! Though unlike Pinkie's strange habit there's an actual visible flash when she does it. And then she tries to gum one of Doran's fuzzy little ears. Nom nom nom. Until Pinkie stands up on her back legs to grab Pumpkin Cake with her forehooves and pull the unicorn babe off. "Silly Pumpkin, that's not a squeaky toy, and you're not a puppy either."

Rarity ahehs, rubbing the back of her head with a hoof. "You'll have to excuse the kids. Baby unicorns don't have conscience control of their magic. Sometimes it just... happens."
Sanae Kochiya     To Yari's denial, her eyes once again wander, seeming more analytical than anything so crass as checking her out. She gives a thoughtful sound, then a somewhat disappointed smile, "Ah, really? I suppose that makes sense, then. I was hoping I'd get to tell everyone met home that I met a dragon, but judging from you, an Au Ra is just as cool!" She definitely recovers quickly, glancing back to Duke afterward, and seeming slightly hesitant at his curiosity. However, considering he seems to have a similar appreciation, she eventually withdraws her arm so that he can have a good look at all the things she'd bought on the way here. It's mostly..the kind of things one might expect to find at a pony's trinket shop, but she couldn't help herself. "There was a lot of gold left in the treasure chest, after my last job. So, I figured I'd get some things to remember this place by." Apparently, she wants to do a lot of remembering.

A few moments longer, and if Duke's eyes wander to anything in particular, she'll actually reach it out, "Here! You can have something too. I honestly bought too much before I realized, and Miss Kanako will probably scold me for wasting money...eheh." She also spares a glance at baby pony antics, reaching her other hand up to cover a light giggle. Oh god, that really is just too cute! "Born with magic? Even I can't really say that..well, maybe." She's never really been quite sure how much stock to put into Kanako's explanation that she's a goddess by birthright. She might have had an eye for the supernatural, but she's never really felt that special. To Sanary, she gives yet another warm smile - seems she's just full of those! "Oh," she realizes a bit belatedly, at the gesture, and not seeming off-put she confirms, "None taken! Yes, this is my natural color. It..wasn't that unusual, on either my Earth or in Gensokyo, but it's been a bit different here in the multiverse."

Something also comes to mind, then, and she wonders to Rarity, that somehow seems to be the guide to this place, "What kinds of things do ponies do for entertainment? Are there arcades and sports arenas? And Duke mentioned something about a library."
Doran Doran oofs a bit as the sudden additional weight on his head almost causes him to fall over, though he manages to catch himself with a staggered stomp. He can't see anything for the moment since his eyes are somewhat blocked, but thanks to Duke he's quite used to the sensation of his ear getting nommed on. At least Pumpkin Cake doesn't have sharp teeth!

After Pinkie Pie rescues him from the baby unicorn, Doran gives himself a nice big shake like a dog fresh from a bath. "It's OK." He doesn't seem offended, and he cranes his nose over as if to sniff at Pound Cake. "And this one can already fly?"
Dukemon X Duke glances over to Yari and nods his head, "Yep!" though his eyes go back to Sanae as she shows him what she has purchased. "Oooo." His gold eyes look it over, "They are really neat, Sanae!" When she does go to give him one though, the Guilmon X rears his head back a little. "Um... are you sure?" He asks before those gold eyes go to look up at her.

As Sanae explains why, he looks back at the handed trinket and then takes it gently in his claw paw hands. "I'll make sure to keep it safe, Sanae! I'll even put it in a safe place so it wont ever get damaged." He smiles softly at the gesture, his gold eyes seeming lost in thought for a moment.

When Duke looks over to Doran to show him what Sanae gave him, he notices the baby ponies giving his best friend a slightly hard time and laughs a bit, "They sure do like you Doran! You seem to be really good with kids!" After he says that, he glances up slightly. Ok--- that was an odd thing to say.

However his attention is brought back when Sanae asks about entertainment and Duke is reminded, "Oh right! The Library!" He then turns to look at Sanary, "You want to go the library too! They have a ton of books! That is what Twilight Sparkle said! They also have a dragon named Spike!" Then he looks back to Rarity, "Right?"
Sanary Rondel     "Huh. Kinda wishing I was born with.. Not this hair color." Humming lightly while peering at Sanae's hair, the healer flicks her own ponytail lightly before laughing softly. "I mean, everyone else back home had mostly brown or blonde hair, but... Black's boring, you know? I mean... What's the common color back in Genzo.. Kuh...?"

    At least she's trying.

Sanary holds in a chuckle at the sight of Doran and Rarity with the baby horse ponies... Horned horses? Whatever. Although she can't look at any of the ponies in particular for too long, the sight is still amusing enough for her to glance over every now and then.

"Say. Duke. Is that a normal thing for Doran over there?" She gestures at Doran and snorts at the Guilmon X's comment, eventually following his gaze to Rarity. "A library could be... Something. Er. But... A dragon?" She sounds much more hesitant about that last part, tugging the front of her suit open briefly to glance inside.

"You don't mind like a... Giant, death-spewing dragon, do you?"
Rarity "In random, ill controlled spurts. He won't develope proper motor skills for some time yet." It's much like a toddler learning how to walk properly. Or a normal horse. Foals can walk just after birth, but it still takes a few years for them to be able to run at full capability.

While she's holding Pumpkin overhead Pinkie pauses, and tilts her head at an angle one wonders should even be possible for a pony to check.. well.. underneath the foal. The expression she makes afterwards explains everything about what doing so told her. "I think puddle jumping is going to have to wait, sooome pony made her own puddles!" Good thing they're wearing diapers. She plops Pumpkin on her back again. "Sorry guys, it's fun meeting all you new people, but I've got a potty emergency to take care of." And with that, she bounces off.

No, literally. Instead of trotting away she bounces on her hooves, much like a certain cartoon skunk does.

Rarity just shakes her head a bit, and looks to the others. "Yes, Twilight Sparkle and Spike live in the library. It's the giant oak near the center of town." Pause. "I mean, it's -in- the tree." Just to clarify for the outsiders.
Sanae Kochiya     One must never refuse hospitality, Duke! Even though this isn't her home. Sanae seems quite pleased as he chooses something he likes, at that. Really, the only thing better than buying a bunch of useless souvenirs is sharing them with friends. "Whenever you visit a place you like, Duke, always make sure to treat it with respect. ..but if they have a gift shop, make sure to support the local economy, and pick something up. You'll have a lot of memories before you know it!" One might almost expect to see her reading the boiler plate off of a script, but it's honestly just Kanako's influence seeping through. That's likely, verbatim, a spiel she tried to give some visitors to the shrine, at least at some point.

Ah yes, the part of babies that quickly brings one back down to earth. The priestess manages not to wrinkle her nose too much at the thought, but she does wave an excited hand all the same, "Ah..yes, see you all again sometime!" After, she turns to Sanary, somehow keeping track of all the conversation threads she's plowed her way into, and gives her a more analytical look..as she does a quick sort of census in her head, at the question. "Hmm..we've got the rainbow, pretty much! Even on Youkai Mountain, there's this curse goddess that has green hair almost the same shade as mine. Though, in the human village itself it's a little more..subdued. Oh, but you know, black hair is so shiny and elegant! In old times in my country, court ladies used to wear it really long."

A quick thought on the matter, and she rummages around her robes while somehow still balancing her armload of tourist treasure. After a fashion she withdraws a smart phone, and starts plugging away at it. Browsing to some pictures of ladies of the court, with pretty black hair that sometimes reaches to the ground, matching well with their seven-layer robes. she passes it to Sanary with a smile. "Of course, you probably don't want something *that* impractical. I'm just saying, no hair is boring with the right presentation." ..she then looks a bit sheepish at her own tangent, returning to an earlier thought, "The..library, yes. I bet there's all kinds of interesting books on local lore there." Her eyes wander to the conspicuous tree, so indicated, and while briefly quizzical, she also is accepting. "I bet the tree is happy to have something so important inside of it."

Without even consciously thinking about it, she begins wandering in that direction. She wants to take a closer look. At this rate she'll even forget her phone.
Doran Yes, a very good thing the baby was wearing a diaper. That could've been embarassing, and Doran hadn't intended to take another bath today.

The Dorumon bows his head in a silent farewell to Pinkie Pie as she bounces away, then returns his attention to the overall conversation as it turns to a library visit. "Perhaps we should head that way. Didn't I hear something about an incoming storm?" He casts a dubious look over at the stormclouds... that possibly aren't quite as distant as they were when they got here.
Dukemon X Duke tilts his head as he asks, "Gift shop?" This is followed by a soft hrm, as he'll have to keep that in mind really for next time. Though this probably also means he needs a /job/ still. Digimon don't exactly get work easily, you know.

Maybe he can talk to Alexis about that...

Duke looks over to Sanary, "I think your hair looks nice and black can look really cool when mixed with colors! Like red, gold, blue, or green!" He gives a big smile. "I wish I actually had hair... well..." He then places his index claw to the front of his muzzle. "...I sorta have hair as Growlmon X and Wargrowlmon X..."

This about the time Duke notices Pinky Pie hopping off and waves to her, "Take care!" He hrms and then 'ohs' softly. "Rarity..." His gold eyes look at her, "Before we go to the library, I'm looking at staying here a few days." He tilts his head gently, "Maybe with Doran as well, if he wants to stay but, uh, where would be a good place to stay /at/?"

This is a very /important/ question and while he wants to just run to the Library, he knows that he'll need a place to stay if he plans to remain here for a few days. If they even /have/ a place for visitors to stay.

Then Doran brings up the storm clouds, oh yeah-- in thirty minutes or... probably now less then that, "Oh yeah..." His gold eyes go up to the clouds. "...didn't she also say they were... um," What was the word again, "..." long stare and a grunt, before he taps his head. There was a mild frustrated look on his face, with a minor snarl. Yeah, sometimes being a Guilmon X-- though great for saving up energy for the fights-- causes the brain to not check in all gears. Its annoying.
Rarity "Oh goodness, I almost forgot." Rarity glances up at the darker clouds. "Presumably that is where Rainbow Dash went, to finish getting the storm ready. Yes, we should probably head indoors. There's the town inn, of course."

Rarity squints at the two animal-like digimon for a moment.

"Or if you rather I'm sure Applejack would let you borrow a couple of barn stalls for the night."
Sanary Rondel     "Supporting the locals is always good. was the one thing we looked forward to whenever travelers came into town back home." Sanary reminisces for a moment before recalling her current situation, shaking her head quickly and laughing to strike the thought from her mind. Besides, the topic of hair colors is still prominent in the healer's head, and she laughs again at the thought of elegance being connected with her hair color of all things.

"Really? My hair's always been kinda... Ass. I mean, it's a lot cleaner now, but..." She wiggles her head for a moment to throw the ponytail over the front of her shoulder. It's definitely on the too-dry side, but at least it's clean. "Green looks great on you, at least. Hm.. Maybe I will try red one day." Duke's given a slight grin as she steps over to pat his head, peering at the Guilmon X and trying to imagine with hair.

"Speaking of emergencies." Sanary appears to be focusing on nothing in particular as she stares off into space, a faint grimace forming on her face moments later. There's a low sigh not long after that, and she turns to the group with an apologetic smile.

"Sorry, Duke. Sanae. Rarity. Doran. Uh... Pink. Work calls. It was great seeing you again. Or for the first time for... Everyone that's not Duke. Definitely gotta meet up again." She pauses, glancing around at the brightly colored environment before continuing. "Somewhere different, even. Maybe that weird bar behind the doors or Sanae's world or something. Definitely... Somewhere."

Even now, the colors are still making it hard to see easily. She offers the group another quick salute, then hurries off to the warp gate!
Doran Doran shrugs, his short arms lifting to accentuate the motion. "So long as there's a roof over our heads, I don't mind either way." Ahh, the benefits of being a survivalist -- one can sleep just about anywhere. He tilts his head for a moment. "Though presumably, an inn requires for one to pay for the room. I don't believe we have anything that would work?" He casts a brief look over to Duke for confirmation. He knows he doesn't have money or anything like that, since he wasn't anticipating being here for more than a few hours. Staying for a couple of days is certainly news to him.

Though he isn't complaining, which is already an improvement. See, he's finally trying to be a good sport about it!
Dukemon X Duke's tail twitches and he looks back at Doran. There is a long silence before a soft, "Ummm..." His tail flicks again, along with his earfins. Then he looks over to Rarity, stares at her for a moment, "I... like beds... but..."

Duke lowers his head, "...we don't have money, so... probably have to be a barn, but uh," His ear fins perk up as he tries to smile. "I'll help this Apple Jack with whatever she needs as payment!"
Rarity Rarity laughs softly at that. "Oh, nonsense! I was mostly joking about the barn part, that would be no proper way for guests to spend the night." Rarity motions to the others to follow with a wave of the hoof, then starts walking towards the center of town and the end. "Simple would not do at all. Come, I'll see to it you get the finest accomidations we have. My treat."

She is the Element of Generousity after all.
Doran Doran snorts a bit, ears flattening. "'Mostly joking', indeed." He does his best to look and sound insulted, but utterly fails at it. It must be the homesickness this place unknowingly invokes in him, lowering his guard and his well-built cynicism. He nudges Duke with his shoulder as he passes by while padding after Rarity, tail swishing in his wake. "Alright, we'll follow your lead."
Dukemon X Duke hears what Rarity says and his earfins perk up, he seems--- actually a bit stunned by her words. Unsure what to say to her kindness actually. It isn't till Doran nudges him does he snap out of it and then goes to follow the two. "Thank you!" He says to Rarity with a warm smile on his muzzle and in his gold eyes.

"If there is anything we can do to repay you for um, your kindness. Let us know!" Not that Duke is really sure what he could do to help around here. He is an outsider after all and the Multiverse hasn't been the most kind thing to him, but there are those sparks of light, like Sanae, Sanary, Alexis... only to name a few.

Honestly he wouldn't know what he do without them. They have helped him so much, those that shown him some light in the darkness, he wants to repay them all in some way... but he is never sure how, so even here... he isn't sure /what/ he could do, after all-- its so peaceful here... and he? Well... he is designed for combat. Its not only in his code, but in his nature.
