Sanary Rondel      Coming back home is good every once in a while. Not directly into the village, of course, what with everyone in the village still being sore at Sanary for what had happened the last time she showed up, but... Around it! Very around it. Not even close to the village, really, but it was still within walking distance from the cave that Sanary had given the Princess directions to.

The actual cave was fairly nondescript: A small hole jammed in the side of a cliff, a couple of trees dotting the landscape, and a big block of frozen rock preventing anyone from getting into or out of the cave.

The healer's dressed in her usual coat and tunic combo, looking a little worn out despite also being rather relaxed. A gunaxe is resting on her shoulder while she eyes the rock, checking the weapon briefly just to make sure it's still loaded.
Sarracenia      Soon enough, a large airship comes into view. It looks very much like a large sailing ship. It is wooden, about 100 feet long, and where sails would be it instead has large masts with spinning propellers to move it about. It comes in from a direction opposite the village, and is staying fairly low to the ground. Large rock formations might look like they are going to hit it.

It moves in quickly and comes to a hover in the appointed location. Then, a rope ladder is lowered down, and on the end of it is Sarracenia, her large hammer in hand and her lovely dress and hair flowing in the wind. She waves to Sanary as she gets close to the ground, then hops down. She smiles to Sanary as she approaches. "Hello there, Sanary. It is good to see you again." she says.
Sanary Rondel      Even without the Magitech eye allowing her to see, Sanary can hear the airships approach easily enough and turns to face it as it comes closer. Although she's somewhat wary about its arrival at first, she does relax considerably upon seeing that familiar face descending from the vessel.

"Hey, Princess Sarracenia!" She calls out with a broad grin on her face, checking that frozen rock once more before hurrying over towards the princess' landing point. "Great seeing you again, too. Been doing alright? Eating enough, not getting into too many fights?" The healer's definitely looking better than she did last time, having substantially cleaner clothes and even some modern combat boots on.

"Not feeling sick after flying in that or anything?"
Sarracenia      The princess giggles at the questions, then starts to count them off on her fingers as she answers. "Yes, no, and no." she says, then hees. "Besides, I ride in ships like that nearly every day. They are quite fun, if you ask me. Why? Are you afraid of flying?" she says, a slight teasing tone in her voice.

Then, another creature lowers down on a rope. This one is...well, it looks like some kind of tulip monster. The tulip part is actually a head with red skin and white spots, a large mouth full of sharp teeth, and no apparent eyes, ears, or noses. It stands on roots and has two large leaves serving as arms. And in those arms is what is obviously some kind of cannon. Though, the diameter is almost enough for a person to fit inside. The creature sets it down with a heavy clunk of metal. The cannon is double-sided and swivels, and inside is...a bullet the size of a small child with the sort of angry shark expression often seen on missiles and aircraft.
Sanary Rondel      A worried frown crosses Sanary's face at the princess' answers, although she does chuckle a moment later. "Well.. At least make sure to eat enough, okay? Ain't good for you not to." The chuckling stops rather quickly once she looks back up at the airship, answering a little too quickly to be telling the truth in response.

"O-of course not! Flying's fun! I could go fly right now if I wasn't doing... Things." Thankfully, the tulip thing coming down might just be enough to take her mind off flying in those horrible death traps. Sure it's a... Horrifying mouthed monster plant, but at least it's not flying.

She legitimately looks less wary of that than the flying machine. "So! THis round thing here... Is this the weapon you were talking about?" She taps on the side of the cannon with her knuckle before peering inside, staring blankly at the face-having bullet on the inside.
Sarracenia      Princess Sarracenia hees. "I always eat enough. I am not one of those wispy princesses. I keep my body in top condition." she says, then smirks at Sanary's reply to her question. "Flying is very fun!" she agrees.

Sarra nods when Sanary asks about the cannon. "Stand back, and I will give you a demonstration." she says.

She swivels the cannon away from them (except that is also toward them, thanks to the double-sided nature. "These cannons are just about the safest you can get. The ammunition is smart. It won't fire if someone is standing next to it, and it will track a target once it is in flight."

She then motions to the plant creature, and it whimpers before running off. The princess waits a few moments, then presses a button on the side of the cannon. "There. Now it is set to fire. As I said, these bullets are smart, so just tell them what you want them to shoot at. In this case..." She leans forward to the cannon. "...fire on that pirahna plant."

The bullet inside giggles a rather impish giggle, then with a loud, deep 'thwu-bomb!' it fires a bullet. But, this bullet doesn't fly at bullet speeds. It flies closer to the speed of a sprinter. It does, however, track the pirahna plant creature that is now running for its life.

When it reaches the poor plant, it explodes with a rather large flaming fireball. The plant creature isn't killed, but it is blackened and now lying dazed on the ground.
Sanary Rondel      Sanary laughs lgihtly and nods after giving Sarracenia a quick look over just in case. "Fair enough. Still, gotta make sure." She leaves the comment about flying unanswered for the time being, looking all too ready to stare at the nothing higher than head-height for the next hour or so.

Following the Princess' directions, she steps back enough to give her room to move the cannon around while still staying close enough to watch the demonstration. She hums softly at the mention of 'smart' ammunition, a slight grin crossing the healer's face after a moment. "Good to hear... Some of the kids in the village have the drive, but they're just... I don't want call them idiots, but."

She smiles awkwardly at that and says nothing else. Probably not a good sign.

Watching the cannon as the plant starts to run off, Sanary lets out a startled grunt at the noise coming from the weapon and even jumps a bit when the bullet fires out of it. That surprise is quickly replaced with an inquisitive expression, however, especially when it starts going after the plant at a steady pace.

"Oh-ho... This might be perfect, actually. The raiders usually don't have horses, and seeing one of those... Big pointy tube things coming after them should definitely give the villagers an edge out here. But where do the bullets come from?"
Sarracenia      Sarracenia hees. "Well, they will still have to be careful. If they say the wrong kind of target, the Bullet Bills might come back on them. You need to clearly yet simply designate the targets. Something like 'anything not from this village' might be good. The bullets won't fire on anything not at least human-sized, so you shouldn't have to worry about critters." she says.

Then, she pats the cannon. "These cannons are able to...um..well, I am not sure how it works, but they make their own bullets. Or..something. Anyway, they don't need ammo. They can fire every few seconds, and the Bullet Bills can only travel about 500 yards before they self-destruct."
Sanary Rondel      Saying the target's name... That's what draws a skeptical grunt from the healer. "These... Bullet Bills, you said? Uh. Well, simple's definitely not going to be an issue. Just kinda worried the villagers won't speak that... Clearly."

She rubs her neck lightly, eyeing the cannon again as Sarracenia mentions the bullets' self-production. Or... Reproduction? It'd probably be easier for her not to ask, anyway. Possibly even less horrifying. "Definitely sounds like a good chasing distance. So I'm thinking... Maybe I can set these up on a wall or something so it can fire down at whoever?"

More chin-stroking. "Or just on the wall so one of the villagers can actually reach it and give it new instructions if they have to." She looks to be deep in thought for a while, but does stop to go over to the Princess to get her in a sudden hug!

"Thanks so much for this. Training hasn't been great around here since I left, so... Y-yeah. Don't have to worry as much about that now."
Sarracenia      Sarracenia blinks in surprise when she is hugged, then smiles and hugs back after setting her hammer down. "I can give you five for now, and if you would like more we can arrange a payment plan. As for the food, I have several crates on board. Should I unload them here?" she says, giving Sanary a little affectionate squeeze before releasing the hug.

"I brought lots of different things. Meats, vegetables, fruits, baking goods, clean drinking water. Should be enough for about a month." the princess says. Just before the cannon fires again. The plant creature that had been lying there dazed suddenly leaps in fear and dives behind a rock as another (or the same) Bullet Bill flies toward it. Sarracenia blinks, then giggles before reaching to switch off the cannon.
Sanary Rondel      "Five? Oh, that'll be more than enough. Definitely gonna pay you back for all of this either way." Sanary certainly sounds as if a huge weight has been pulled off of her, holding the hug for a little longer before stepping back to give Sarracenia her space.

"This here... Yeah, this should be a good spot. I can bring these back to the village, get some of 'em to grab them from outside the gate, and..." She trails off as the cannon fires again, turning her head slowly to watch the plant cowering by the rocks. She snorts lightly before starting to approach the rock, and she'd even try to heal the monstrous plant if it lets her!

"Between your help and Souji's... Hah. Might actually be able to start fixing things up around here finally." She laughs softly. "And... Maybe get them to not be so pissed at me, too. But yeah. You need anything, just give me a call and I'll be there."
Sarracenia      Luckily, the Bill hits a rock and explodes without harming Sanary or the plant creature. When Sanary moves to heal it, the pirahna plant looks up, then its big white-lipped mouth turns upward in a huge toothy smile that is almost cute in how happy it seems. It then waddles back to the rope it was lowered down on and starts upward.

Sarracenia giggles. "How kind of you! Pirahna plants are strong, but not all that sturdy. He was rather thankful for your healing." she says before tilting her head. "So...why are your fellow villagers upset with you?" she asks as the underside of the airship opens and several large crates are lowered down by the many plant people inside, along with the remaining cannons. They are set in a fairy haphazard pile, so it might look like someone accidentally left them.
Sanary Rondel      How cute! Sanary smiles almost... Sweetly at the pirahna plant in return, giving giant... Head orb a pat before turning back to Sarracenia. "They look weird, but they're kinda... Cute in that really creepy way."

It's the thought that counts, right?

Approaching the princess again, she takes a long breath before rubbing at her neck awkwardly and staring at nothing for a moment. "It's... Okay. So there were these bandits that came by a while back, right? Lot more than we usually get, but there were a bunch of Elites around, so we killed a lot of them." She squints briefly before gesturing in the general direction of the village.

"Around the gate especially. So anyway. We've got the leader pinned down, and he starts spouting off about Grima. Er... A cult thing that's big around. Especially back home." Sanary clears her throat, looking somewhat uncomfortable as she keeps going, but keep going she does!

"So when he's doing that and the people back home are listening, a.. Uh. One of the Elites from the neighboring country figured she'd take him back to her country for questioning. And... I might have helped with that."
Sarracenia      Sarracenia smiles in agreement about the plants. "And, they are quite loyal, even if they are a bit spineless." she says. Then, she listens to the story. And...she seems a bit confused. "Wait...they are mad because you helped someone remove a bandit leader who is part of a cult?" she asks, scratching her head. "It seems like that would be something they would be happy about."
Sanary Rondel      "Y-yeah... Ehm. Except they're part of that cult, too." Another awkward shifting of the feet. Sanary rubs her head lightly and steps aside to watch one of the boxes coming down, fighting the urge to look inside it just to sate her own curiousity.

"The Grimleal... Er. The cult. Kind of a big thing in Plegia. Really big." She pauses again. "We're near the border between Plegia and Ylisse, but just inside Plegia. Not a... Not a lot of friendliness between these two places, either, since Ylisse has their own holy dragon cult to go against ours."

She pauses again to prop herself up against a tree, glancing around warily just to make sure none of the villagers happened to come across them or anything of that sort. "N-not that I follow either of 'em or anything! I mean. Not any more. I mean... It's stupid, you know? Worshipping something that's supposed to just come and kill everyone, anyway."
Sarracenia      Sarracenia hmms. "So...they are upset that the opposing cult got the bandit leader?" she asks, still not sure she really understands. "That seems pretty petty. He was attempting to rob and possibly kill them. As long as he stops, why is it important who gets to imprison him or question him?" she says.

When Sanary talks about not following either cult, Sarracenia nods. "Worshipping most things seems silly to me." The last crate is lowered down, and Sarracenia approaches the pile. "Would you like to see what is inside?" she asks, smiling.
Sanary Rondel      "Pretty much! It's not so much the opposite cult thing as it's the... Other country thing." Sanary actually manages a light chuckle at that. "The folks back home aren't that... Smart, remember." Another laugh, and she jerks a thumb at herself. "Remember. I'm... Probably the smartest person from there now."

The healer takes a long breath just to steady herself before nodding at Sarracenia, chuckling after a moment at her reaction. "It really is. We've got all sorts of other stuff to worry about without stupid... Giant dragon assholes trying to kill us, too."

Sounding more relaxed finally, she follows the princess to the pile of crates and hesitates for a moment before nodding, glancing at all of the crates to try and figure out which would be the best one to look inside. "Definitely. Well... Just one. Can't stay out here too long or someone might see us."
Sarracenia      Princess Sarracenia hees, then hefts her hammer. She rears back like she is going to swing really hard, then...just pries a crate open with the handle of her hammer. Inside, reaching up to the top of the crate, is just about every typical vegetable one might find in a market. Lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, and other such things.

"Each crate carries items of this nature. Fruits, vegetables, cuts of meat, containers water. If you have no refridgeration units, I can leave a few ice mushrooms. They should be able to encase anything you need in ice. Just break it out when you need it." the princess says, smiling brightly.
Sanary Rondel      Sanary steps back as Sarracenia readies her hammer, watching with bated breath as she... Nudges the crate open. She laughs a moment later, and she doesn't seem too disappointed about the lack of smashing (even if that would just make carrying everything back even harder).

"Peeeerfect. This should definitely last 'em a while. Gives everyone some time to actually focus on training instead of dividing their time and failing at both..." Letting out a relieved sigh, Sanary eyes each of the crates carefully before turning back to Sarracenia with a grateful smile. "I mean it, though. You ever need anything, just let me know, okay? Gonna work on getting all this over there and setting it all up, then showing the folks how to use the cannons. And... Not to climb inside them."
Sarracenia      Sarracenia giggles. "Actually, it would be quite safe inside those cannons. Remember, they will not fire if someone is near the barrels." she says. She pats Sanary on the head gently, then heads back toward her rope ladder. "Well, I suppose I should be on my way. If I think of anything with which you can help me, I shall let you know." she says, smiling. Then, the ladder starts to ascend.
Sanary Rondel      "Right! Man, your people think of everything, eh?" Sanary laughs once more and blinks at the head patting, flushing a bit despite grinning a moment later. "R-right. Thanks again, Sarracenia. And remember to eat enough!"

She waves as the Princess ascends, watching her for a moment before turning back to the pile of crates and cannons. "Alright... Time to get to work."
