Mordekaiser Spring is a beautiful place that is full life! There are many forms of cute creatures, though some dangerous ones. Plants of all kinds bloom in amazing, glorious color. The air carries the scent of wondrous fragrance and farmers carve their place in the land for their livestock; Along with their pocketbooks.

People come here to walk the trails and even bike. Everything is wonderful in Spring! Everything is grand! All up until this very moment....

Out near one of the farms, the livestock start to panic. The horses raise up on their hign legs, whinnying loudly in fear. Old farmer John makes his way outside and watches as his faithful herd dog goes running to where the horses are all trying to get away. Barking away at the unseen intruder, but the ear marks are there.

The plant life and tall trees near the farm start to wilt and wither away. Branches curving, twisting, as something unholy strangles the very life out of them. Soon the vile corruption behind this is seen. A dark armored figure standing eight feet tall moves slowly and methodically out from the trees. The grass drying up and dyeing around his feet with each step. Those red glowing eyes burning out from the pitch black void under the metal crowned helm upon the faceless head.

The dog bravely goes to protect the horses, the land, and his master. Charging up to the armored figure to only be swiped away like a simple instinct by the large metal fist. The dog lets out a yelp on the impact, before rolling across the ground and coming to a dead stop. Not moving... but could be maybe alive.

The old man can only watch as the metal figure continues to slowly, methodically make his way toward him. A large war mace being removed from his backside, allowing his cape to become free from its confines. Watching as the world seems to just die armored the armored death knight. "No, no." The old man says as he starts to back away. "Stay away!"

There is no reply from the armored figured.

The old man quickly pops a few of his horses on the rear to cause them to run away from the armored figure, watching as the metal giant smashes with his mace the very fence boards that protect the property. Treating them as if they were just simple paper.

The old man goes inside his homestead, grabbing his shotgun, and then reaches for the phone. "Hello! Hello!" His voice said with panic, "I need help! There is a monster! A metal clad figure! Everything is dyeing around him! No-- no I don't know what he wants! Please hurry!"

Though as he calls out, his granddaughter, a beautiful young woman with dark brown hair comes down the steps, "Papa-- what is..." Her green eyes look out the window. "What is..."

"Jess, go back upstairs!" The old man says, "Get my rifle, lock that door, and no matter what happens. Stay in your room." She can only nod and make her way back upstairs.

The dispatches that receive the call are quick at work and the call goes out. It is time for the Elites to come aid the farmstead and save an old man before his life is taken...
Teemo New to the multiverse, but not to conflict by any means, one little Yordle has just gotten his factional paperwork sorted out and his codec issued, in time to hear some drama brewing. Hey, sounds like it could be fun. Spring being a fairly major hub on the warp gate network, Teemo finds his way to the source of the distress call easily enough, but he doesn't just pop right out to confront the big scary monster. No, he slips in through the back of a corn field -- funny that corn should be so tall in spring, but if it's perpetual spring, he guesses it'll have to grow in some kind of cycle -- and... vanishes. It's entirely possible that anyone who saw him arrive just imagined it. Except Toph of course, because she has that freaky earth sense, but even so once he stops moving, he holds so perfectly still it might be hard even for her.
Jorge-052 The emergency call out into the Multiverse is picked up through UNSC broadbands, and Jorge-052 immediately responds. He's done as much testing and training with the MJOLNIR Gen/2 in a controlled environment as he can. Now it's time for the battlefield.

A Pelican swoops in at low altitude and slows to a hover, the back ramp lowering and letting the SPARTAN-II jump out. In his right hand, he carries a large gatling gun, and on his back is a large rocket launcher. If he carries any further weapons, they aren't visible.

"Stop where you are!" Jorge-052 barks at Mordekaiser, slowly advancing forwards as his hands noticeably tighten on the grips of the gatling gun. "Stand down and leave. Now." Though he doesn't say more, his tone makes it obvious that there are no negotiations here.
Fiera Kitsun Fiera was in the area for training, despite being so far away from the Pokemon Islands - not just training the team of Pokemon she's been working with lately, but to train herself as well. And when she hears about a metal-clad figure that seems to be causing trouble .... well, she *is* an Elite as well, and this could be somewhat interesting.

Of course it's also going to be risky; she's hoping not to get chopped in half, or never mind getting any of her Pokemon seriously injured. Her most tanky Pokemon are back with her uncle right now, too; the heavest tank she *has* is Futon, her Snorlax, and no matter how tough a Snorlax may be to hurt, giant axe blades tend to do serious injury when they hit something that isn't fairly dense metal. On the other hand, there are also weaknesses to being huge and clad in armor ... and as Fiera gets a 'look' at Mordekaiser by way of her Fearow's high-altitude reconaissance, she determines that it's worth experimenting with whether those weaknesses will actually work here. For now, Fiera leans over her Stantler's back, letting Morihashi close the distance towards the farm and its invader; somebody's already intervening, from the looks of things, so Fiera should have time to get into range and deploy the rest of her Pokemon appropriately.
Cory     A frantic call or help reaches its destination in time. Chikorri, previously on patrol, has answered the call. She rockets in from the skies quick enough to kick up a wave of dirt and weeds in her wake upon nearing the ground and ends up landing rather loudly atop the farmer's house, gasping for breath. "Sheesh... that's the problem with... going too fast..."

She'll need a moment to catch her breath, but that's okay.

She spends a bit having a look at what's happening down on the ground, after all...
Mordekaiser Teemo is known to Mordekaiser, but where the runt has gone is unknown to him. The Yordle was not his grave concern right now, only those whom are coming to stop him. Such as the Pelican that swoops in to offload an armored SPARTAN.

At first glance Mordekaiser's hand tightens on the handle, the heavy war mace swings up before his other hand comes to clench the heavy shaft that comes down upon his palm with a clang. His steps come to a halt, as he observes the figure that moves toward him. Though when Jorge speaks, the Metal Wraith lowers his head. "Shame." The deep voice rumbles across the distance with ease. "You are not the Iron Maiden I seek... nor even a maiden."

Mordekaiser for the moment is not aware of the watchful eyes in the skies or another visitor is making her move for placement, as his attention has become slightly focused on Jorge before him. Seeming to study the man with slight interest. Though his gaze goes beyond the SPARTAN to the Saiyan who has arrived upon the roof of his target home. "She must have told you about me, if you have brought, heh heh, allies."

Those red eyes seem to glow bright as his hand can be heard tightening on the war mace, causing it to creak under the strain of his own strength. "Good. I've been looking forward to a proper battle since I have arrived from Shadow Isle." Mordekaiser then starts to make his way toward Jorge again. Each step precise and measured. Each step leaving behind decay and death. "Now let us see what you living fools are capable of..."
Jorge-052 Jorge-052 begins to walk sideways, circling around Mordekaiser to force the Wraith away from the house (and the family inside) without affecting his own line-of-fire. Iron Maiden... a visual connection... possibly Noble Six? She's been in the Multiverse far longer, and he doesn't think anyone else can fit...

His back foot plants noticeably as Mordekaiser begins his approach. "Fine." The gatling roars to life, spewing a steady stream of bullets at the armored knight, and Jorge takes a step or two backwards to maintain some distance between them.
Teemo Teemo quietly stifles a yawn. Mordekaiser's baiting doesn't even seem to have gotten him the opponent he wanted. Boring! He opens up one of the pouches at his hip and looks inside to take inventory. Hmm. Well, he knows one way to make the fight more interesting, at least. Crouching low, which is pretty low given that he's barely a meter tall to begin with, he creeps through the corn rows and out into the grass, keeping to the taller clumps and darting from one bit of cover to the next. From the screen of a fence post, he reaches out to lightly place a small, shaped charge into the middle of a patch of wildflowers. It looks like a mushroom, and it also looks like it just grew there naturally.

He creeps away, cutting across the line between Morde and his opponents. He plants another mushroom under a clump of weeds, and a third behind a wheel of the farmer's wagon, where he judges someone might just try to take cover. Silly Morde, trying to 3v1. This should help him out some.

He then makes his way in a careful arc around behind the metal monster, and plants some more explosives in the dead foliage behind him, because he's a dick.
Fiera Kitsun "Well, if it's a maiden you want ... !!"

Morihashi leaps out of the field, with Fiera still clinging to the stately Stantler's back with both legs and one arm; her other arm is engaged in flicking a Pokeball into the air at the peak of her arc -

And a Ninetales appears out of the ball, the 'empty' Pokeball seeming to bounce back to Fiera's hand as the Stantler lands and canters away. Not fleeing entirely, mind you - but Fiera doesn't want to stay in melee range of the massive knight, and even Foxfire is maintaining a respectful distance as the nine-tailed, gold-furred fox Pokemon exhales a small fireball at Mordekaiser.

It's not the Ember that it might look like, though; instead, Foxfire is using the Will-o'-Wisp technique to try and inflict a lasting burn on the metal-plated figure. Maybe direct damage would be smarter, but Fiera's not unleashing the big guns when probable allies are potentially in the way.
Cory     "Oh great. It's another of these crazy people who criticize by category. Here's something only the living can do, you nut!" Exclaiming THAT at that at the top of her lungs, Chikorri flips up into the air with a somersault-like motion and ends up hovering straight above Mordekaiser. Ki erupts around her in vivid crimson, rushing and crackling like flames....

    "HAAAAAAIYAH!!!"

And then she's DOWN. Straight down that is, with one hell of a drop-kick for his head.
Mordekaiser The SPARTAN opens fire with his oversized chaingun and there is a satisfying cling-cling-cling as the bullets just pelt against the Death Knight's form. Pieces of metal start to become pitted against the armored body, followed by a low rumble of at last frustration. "Enough!" Mordekaiser barks out.

The Metal Giant lifts up his hand and the bullets come to a halt in front of him. They become suspended in the air as being halted by a powerful magnet. The Metal Wraith then rotates his hand gently as it starts to glow a shade of blue aura. The very bullets he has come to stop start to rotate around. Each and every tip coming to face Jorge, this is followed by a dark, deep rumble of a laugh. "I am Mordekaiser."

As he takes another step unaware that Teemo had just crossed past him and Jorge. All the bullets that have gathered move with the Metal Wraith's step. Jorge may notice the bullets in his armor slowly being pushed out as the armor starts to slowly repair itself. "Lord of Shadow Isle."

Fiera at last calls out with her own challenge. Mordekaiser glances over in her direction as she summons her Pokemon to battle. "Master," he says calmly even as the Ninetails blasts a fire ball in his direction. "Of," His rotated had then moves his index and middle finger apart as the bullets can be seen dividing, "Metal!" Then with a swipe of his claw hand, the bullets launch between Jorge and toward Fiea's Ninetails.

The Metal Wraith then attempts to step around to avoid the fireball that was coming his way, as his Mace head comes to slam down on the ground. His movements were not fast, as a trained eye would notice but there was possibly a great deal of power behind him. The fireball slams against his metal armored body. The fires bathe over him and Fiera may hear him laughing as the fire dances across his body, becoming an unholy blue by the armor's own corruption.

While the burn may have stuck, it did not seem to phase the Unholy Great General. Cory about then als decides to drop in and he then swings his mace from the ground with a hard upward swing to catch her and slam her down to the ground. Being that close proximity to Mordekaiser though, she may feel the cold, chilling air around him. That something was very wrong and that death, decay shared in the very space he moves in. Those red eyes glow brightly as, he yanks the mace back up. Getting ready to let out a roar to slam down the heavy war mace down upon Cory's body; Only his foot steps back. Steps back in a troubling spot.

There was a crunch. There was a sudden pause from Mordekaiser. Then there was a narrow of his eyes in a moment of a dead pan. "I hate... Yordles." He says lowly, before an explosion follows where he stepped at. The explosion sets off the other two and blasts him into the air, before he lands down on top of the wagon, which shatters under the massive armored figures weight. This causes a chain reaction from another explosive when blasts him forward and hard into the ground, which he slides along, before his heavy metal claws dig deep into the ground to stop himself.

The War mace though flips through the air a few times before landing deathly close to Fiera and her Ninetails.

At this point Mordekaiser's armor is smoking, shards of metal pieces can be seen creaking and snapping as they start to work themselves back into place. Those red eyes gleam upward at the group, before he laughs softly, before his laugh turns into a cackling, throttling laughter as he stands back up. His clawed hands glowing with a blue aura...
Teemo Teemo claps a hand over his mouth to prevent an outburst of laughter. He hadn't expected his traps to work quite THAT neatly. Of course he also hadn't expected Mordekaiser to stumble into ALL of them... as the metal giant begins laughing horribly and pulls himself to his feet, Teemo decides that the best place for him might be well the hell away from here. He breaks cover briefly, but tries to at least stick to the tall grass as he sprints as fast as his little legs can carry him back toward the cover of the corn fields.
Fiera Kitsun There's a loud yelp of pain as at least one of the bullets finds Foxfire's body, blood beginning to stain the fur on the fox's shoulder - but the Ninetales stands her ground, only moving to evade the flying mace a bit more thoroughly. The explosions that throw Mordekaiser around do *not* elicit any sign of amusement from the fire-fox Pokemon, though ...

And her Pokemon's deathly silence is echoed, if not amplified, as Fiera comes back, dismounting from her Stantler and recalling Morihashi to her ball. "You may be a 'master of metal,'" the red-haired girl says softly, "but metal is one element among many where I'm from ... and hot enough fire melts even the hardest steel."

Cue Foxfire unleashing a Fire Blast assault, turning the heat up against Mordekaiser as much as she can; Fiera raises her voice, calling out to her allies of the moment, "Use all the fire and heat attacks you can! If he won't melt, we'll burn him inside his armor - or just make it too hot for him to stick around!"
Jorge-052 Jorge-052's chin lifts slightly as Mordekaiser stops his bullets in mid-air and ceases firing immediately. For a moment, the Wraith's armor visible self-repairs fascinates him almost as much as the floating bullets do -- and then the bullets fly right towards him.

There's no time to think, only react -- and he drops his gatling as he throws himself out of the bullets' trajectory. Most hit the ground in his wake, sending up tiny geysers of dirt, but some catch his legs and abdomen in fragmenting sprays of light. His personal shield wavers and dies, setting off a new string of alarms in his helmet.

As Mordekaiser gets ping-ponged about by explosions, the SPARTAN-II takes cover while waiting for his shields to recharge and ensuring his armor held under his own bullets. At Fiera's suggestion, he chuckles lowly. "Explosions seem to also be effective." He unslings the rocket-launcher from his back and swings it onto his shoulder with ease, taking aim at Mordekaiser while the Master of Metal struggles to get back up. "STAY CLEAR!" And as soon as an opportunity presents itself, he fires.
Cory     A hard, dull impact of the wrong sort's enough tot ell Cory her blow didn't quite manage. With lightning speed she flips around backwards in midair and goes for another attack but this too doesn't quite work out. Her kick slams hard into the club-- hard enough that the impact triggers a very noticeable shockwave of wind. But she fails to break the man's guard and instead... getting a bad feeling from things, she hits FULL REVERSE with a thrust of pure ki. Whoosh! Back she goes... just in time for the explosion to go off!

She's caught in the fringes of it, and ends up skittering across the ground using all four limbs to bleed off momentum. "Y-yikes...!"
Mordekaiser The Kitsune unleashes a heavy blast of fire toward Mordekaiser and with a swing of one hand, pieces of his metal body rip off of him, becoming that of a cyclone shield. He uses this newly made barrier to shove aside the fire as he continues to walk. Teemo--- was wise to leave.

Fiera may notice that as the Metal Wraith walks and his metal fragment shield moves with him, that it doesn't glow hot like metal should. Instead the flames seem to change color around the edges it does slowly effect. Thankfully her Pokemon was an excellent distraction, as the rocket from Jorge slams into Mordekaiser's metal body. The explosion washes over the eight foot knight and metal shards can be seen scattering around.

Only to find Mordekaiser staggering in the flames, with his side armor ripped to shreds and seeming a void of nothing residing within the armor itself. There was no blood. No scream of pain, only a bit more of a throttling laughter from their continued attempts. The armor on his side trying to piece itself back together. His voice with a darker metallic reverb in it. "You may escape me..." He slides his foot around. "...but you can not escape the fate of the Isles!"

The tractor near him can be heard crunching, shattering, and soon is seen ripped in two. His red eyes peer right for Cory. The one who got away and while not a fully on aggressor and perhaps just as dangerous has, for some reason, caught Mordekaiser's attention. "RRAAGH!!" The Metal Wraith's voice roars out, before he swings the two pieces under his control.

The two pieces of tractor go right for the female Saiyan, attempting to smash into her like two hammers coming to meet one another in the center---- and she is the center. Though after this attack, the glow of his hands end and the Armored Knight's laugh starts to soften as he then goes down onto one knee. "Heh heh... Give the Iron Maiden my regards... because I will find her..." Pieces of his armor can be seen slowly crashing down to the ground. "...and she will, hah hah, join us..."
Jorge-052 Jorge-052 rumbles deeply, pulling a bluish orb out of a pocket on his torso. "I doubt that." He presses a red button on its surface, causing the entire orb to start glowing blue, and tosses it at Mordekaiser.

Perhaps overkill to put down a 'dying' enemy with a plasma grenade, but he's taking NO chances.
Fiera Kitsun "Wrong isles in my case, Mord," Fiera replies softly - and then she flinches at the plasma grenade going off, too fast for her to cover her ears. She nods to the SPARTAN who tossed the grenade, "Thank you; I didn't have much stronger to throw than another Fire Blast ..." She moves to the Ninetales' side, checking to see how bad her injuries are. It may be time to head for a Union outpost with a Pokemon Center - or something more; bullets are not part of normal Pokemon battles, so even Nurse Joy might have some issues ...
Cory     Cory's quick-wited in a fight. Spotting that two halves of a tractor are coming at her from either side she--

... Doesn't move at ALL. Instead she braces herself, flexes her arms and - WHOOOOSH!

Both halves meet her outstretches hands with a mighty CRUNCH! The chunks distort around her, bending and snapping and straining from the sheer force they're being propelled at. Under the load of not jsut that but also nearly two tons of weighted clothing under the gi...

Chikorri nearly buckles. She's grunting, groaning straining with every muscle fiber in her arms and upper torso... and to a very good result.

    "HUUUUUUUUUAH!"

With a final effort she gets a GRIP on both sides, and HURLS them skywards. Then... flips out of the way.

Yeah, she was tempted to blow them up just to prove a point and maybe intimidate Mordekaiser. But that would ruin the farm.

"What the hell is your PROBLEM? What're you even DOING here, Mordy?!"
Mordekaiser Mordekaiser was in fact on his last leg and the plasma grenade sealed it. The only comment that escaped from him was a simple one as it stuck on his helm. "...Not one of these..." then it explodes in a blue plume of fire, which shatters the very helm upon Mordekaiser's head.

It is not long after this that the Metal Wraith is seen breaking down into armor parts, before they seem to slowly fade away into metal shards of ash. Then they vanish like spiritual essence. The only part that even remains of Mordekaiser is what is perhaps the most disturbing of items.

His War Mace.

It resides where it had fallen near Fiera and the ground around it has become a husk of just dead, black dirt. The weapon is perhaps as unnatural and maybe just as unholy as the very armored figure they fought. Though why it remained behind is hard to say.

Sadly for Cory she doesn't get an answer from the High General before he is blown up. It is something the young Saiyan will have to seek on her own in time...
Fiera Kitsun Fiera sideglances at the fallen mace, and moves away from where it landed in a hurry, tugging Foxfire along with a gentle hand on the Ninetales' unwounded shoulder. "We should possibly try to do something about this, it'd be bad if that corruption spreads out enough to kill the crops ... Foxfire, can you - ?"

"Nine ninetales," Foxfire replies, her vocalization comprehensible as <<I'll try,>> thanks to the translation effect. Then the nine-tailed fox Pokemon exhales another blast of flame, this time winding it into a Fire Spin; if the flames don't suffice to burn or melt the mace, perhaps the power that goes into the fiery vortex will help to hold back the aura of decay and death?
Jorge-052 'Not one of these'. This mysterious Iron Maiden /has/ to be Noble Six, which means there will definitely be questions later.

After Mordekaiser is fully dealt with, Jorge-052 nods his helm towards Fiera in acknowledgement. "I'm glad to hear it." He stares at the mace, retrieving his gatling and resting the massive weapon on one shoulder as a regular soldier would with a regular rifle. "That is... not normal." Scanners run at full bore, analyzing whatever is possible on that weapon and its dread effects, but something deep in his core tells him not to touch it -- like the first time he encountered a live plasma grenade decades ago.

But as Fiera and Foxfire try to deal with the mace directly with their flames, the SPARTAN-II makes his way towards the farmhouse to check on the inhabitants. Hopefully, the owners of this farm avoided getting caught in the crossfire.
Mordekaiser The mace does not give way, but the fires can be seen; As it did on the armor; dancing over its surface and changing color as it burns at the metal. It is not long after such attack though does the Mace seem to simply vanish like a ghostly image before fading away entirely...

As for the Farmer inside, Jorge almost gets a shotgun leveled on him, until the old man realized he is not the armored knight. Though he does re-raise it in concern that somehow Jorge may be connected. Though once Jorge explains he isn't and probably explains where he comes from. The old farmer will let down his guard.

He calls up to his granddaughter who carefully makes her way down the steps. Though the rifle is not in her hands, but she does thank Jorge and all for them helping her grandfather in saving the farm. However she is quick to realize that their dog has yet to return and makes her way swiftly to the poor canine's side.

Yep. He is alive, but he is gonna need to go see a vet.
