Souji Murasame	It did not take long for the word regarding the anullment of the betrothal of Kyra Hyral and Souji Murasame to be capitalized upon. The eventuality of this occurring had always been planned for by the Murasame elder, and as such it was simply a short discussion with the patriarch of the Dolet family to result in the arrival of Souji Murasame himself, the instructions from his father clear: He is to negotiate a corporate merger. And when dealing with the Zaibatsu, a family organization descended from the old nobility, this comes with... other forms of negotiations as well. Souji himself arrives on site, his expression stonic as always as he enters the building. He approaches the receptionist desk, nodding in greeting to the receptionist. "I am to meet with the head of the Dolet Corporation. I believe I have an appointment." He is politely businesslike. It would not do to insult the Dolets at this point.
Cassandra Dolet	The worker at the desk - a pretty young woman with bells through her hair, gives Souji Murasame a quick glance, and then she stands, nodding slightly to the young man. "One moment, please." 5She turns to the phone and toggles three lines - one is the name of 'Lyndon Dolet', a second is to 'Cassandra Dolet', and the third is request for an escort for a 'Mister Murasame'. Souji's name is mentioned each time, so no one is going to be surprised, even as, up in her own office, Cassandra pulls out her phone, her father beckoning her into his own office. A young man appears next to the desk, nodding politely to Souji. "If you'll follow me, please?" Into an elevator and up three floors Souji is led, before he's left in front of the open door to Lyndon's office, a polite rap at the door frame. Cassie slides her phone into her pocket. She's dressed in a proper suit, and her father matches her, with salt and peppered hair and bear. "Greetings, Souji Murasame. Please, take a seat." Cassie doesn't say a word.
Souji Murasame	Souji is escorted into the presence of Lyndon Dolet, and he provides a small smile as he is greeted by the Dolet patriarch. He gives a handshake to the man, turning to provide Cassandra herself a short bow, before sitting in the proffered chair. "Mr. Dolet. It is a pleasure to see you and your daughter again." He begins, his tone pleasantly businesslike. "I would not wish to waste your time, so I will provide the reason for my visit directly. The Dolet Corporation has long been a provider of useful pharmaceutical and magitechnology to the people of Galianda. Your biocorps, fueled by the bounties of Leviathan, is quite impressive." Souji removes a small folder from his coat. "We of the Murasame Zaibatsu have long dealt with the Dolet Corporation. We believe that a closer relationship would be beneficial to the ongoing profitability and longevity of your organization." He holds up a hand. "This is not, however, an offer of a takeover. My father has provided a more... direct offer, one which you may find more amenable." He holds out the sealed document binder, which, when Lyndon opens it will find a proposal from Souji's own father outlining what Cassandra might be dreading: An offer of an arranged marriage between Souji and Cassandra, as well as a listing of details on a corporate merger to go along with it.
