Scene #2476: The Dollmaker and the Caster

Alice Margatroid	Phase Rock, a place full of magic and intrigue. The green glow of the massive rock at the center has Alice, Hourai and Shanghai standing at a distance, a small satchel behind the two dolls and the dollmaker. "The Syndicate has a lot of useful information, I wonder if I can use this magic to enchant this cloth.." she mutters to her two dolls, floating at her sides. "Now, let's see... it's heavily guarded, I wonder why..." Shanghai shakes her head and cheerfully starts, "Well, it shouldn't be too bad, I mean, they shouldn't mind someone not affiliated with them to just use the rock for your own purposes." Hourai, however, frowns, "We're not to trust anyone here, there is no saying that they would turn and try to have Alice hurt." Alice, however gives a light nod and peeks from behind a rock, "Perhaps we should try what Marisa usually does..."
Circe	Caster is displeased with the state of magic on her world. It's dreadfully diminished, and modern magi are laughably weak. Nearly blind to all the things that sit right in front of them, having to connive elaborate work-arounds to make up for their inadequacy. Phase Rock holds a lot of magical energy. While the Servant is not necessarily interested in giving magic to everyone, she wants the power it once held to return to the world as a whole, and studying this concentration is a good first step. The red-haired woman floats in the air above the stone, slowly circling it, or stopping to hover in place. Her senses are directed inwards, to the crystal, not the surrounding area. Thus, she is unaware of the intruders.
Alice Margatroid	Floating about herself, Alice moves herself closer by hiding between rocks and other states of things she can hide behind here. "Hmm, who's that?" as she points to Caster around the green rock, "Did I get beat to wanting this?" she shakes her head some and gives a light nod, "Time to go visit. Hourai, Shanghai. Guard stances." as Hourai's shield comes into view, Shanghai comes behind Alice and Hourai floats in front. Giving a quick view, none of the soldiers seem to be looking to the sky, this should be her chance at least and with a start, she floats up and starts heading towards Caster's location, her Grimoire tucked under her arm and a firm gaze upon her face, "Should not hurt to ask, at least I'm not taking it like Marisa is."
Circe	Caster's senses finally register someone else approaching and she turns to face them, the golden veil draping over the upper half of her face fluttering from the movement. She squints her red eyes and calls out, "Stop right there, trespasser! This territory is held by the Confederacy. Unless you have authorized business here, you should leave at once." She puts her hand out to the side, notifying the Confederate troops on-site to prepare for action, and then summons a golden staff in her palm, which she grasps, sending prana surging through the air around her.
Alice Margatroid	Hmm, she was noticed a bit more early than she thought, this could prove troublesome. "I'm not here to fight, more so, I am here to request temporary permission to use the area." she calls back, the two dolls upon her sides. "I do not have a way to formally request the service so I came in hopes to negotiate with the one who owns this to use it. I have no permanent need for the area!" Alice eyes the staff, shaking her head and with a look beween Hourai and Shanghai, she nods, giving a firm look towards Circe, "Now who is she...." she whispers...
Circe	The Servant folds her arms over her chest and gives a 'really?' look at the floating stranger. "You have not even identified who you are, or who you are affiliated with, and yet you wish to utilize resources that do not belong to you? There are Multiversal radios, and magical devices that serve the same purpose, all readily available. I recommend you obtain one and ask for permission first. Because you can not honestly tell me you thought that with all these soldiers standing around, and your attempt to sneak past them, you did not understand that you were not supposed to be here or that this was not your resource to use. Further, you clearly did NOT intend to negotiate if you could get away with stealing, otherwise you would have announced your presence." The Servant shakes her head in disgust. "I will pass along your request, but you have already demonstrated a lack of honesty that leaves me reluctant to give you anything except a chance to leave." The sorceress sends the mental message via her own equivalent to a radio, but keeps an eye on the intruder.
Alice Margatroid	"I am aware of what is around, however, that does not change the intent of my actions." Alice gives a light smile. "I am Alice Margatroid, I'm not affiliated with anyone but myself and have no qualm with you. I do not mean harm or anything of the sort." a pause, "I would like to enter negotiations if possible, even if my initial foray into the area..." a pause, "wasn't so honest." Shanghai pipes up and smiles, "She doesn't harm anyone, she's a puppeteer who makes magic dolls. That's all." as Shanghai floats around Alice in a happy way... though Hourai still stares down Circe with the intent of protection. Alice pipes up, "This is Shanghai and Hourai and as she said, we do not come for harm or taking, just using and if you can provide me with proper channels to go through in the future, I will most certainly follow them."
Circe	Caster nods her head after Alice finishes introducing herself and explaining herself, with agreement from the two companions. "You can ask on the Multiversal broadband for a Confederate officer, and request permission that way, ordinarily. I will have to turn you away for now, but to facilitate this request of yours, I will submit a notification to my allies so that a qualified individual can consider the matter and have a response prepared. You may call me Caster, by the way. I presume you can see yourselves out for today?"
Alice Margatroid	Alice frowns a bit, shaking her head, "While I wished to have gotten some proper assistance today, but it cannot be helped." she shakes her head once more and nods, "I can see myself out, yes." a pause, "Caster, huh... perhaps we shall meet again, under more proper times then." she gives a light nod and looks towards Hourai and Shanghai, "Let's go, no need to make a fight out of this."
