Owner Pose
Sarah Rogers      Sarah presumably met Wesley at the roots, or some convenient warpgate. She's guided him through the station until they reach the Ring. At first glance it looks like it;s join to be a very one sided fight. Sarah's a good 8 inches shorter than Wesley, and while she's got an athletic figure, she doesn't look particularly strong.

"I can tell your sincere when you say you don't want to kill anyone, but just so you know, the nature of this place lets you cut loose without fear of permanent injury or death." She explains.
Wesley Wilson "Sounds good. I usually leave my weapon that lets me use my purviews somewhere else, don't wanna accidentally kill somebody. But I ain't gonna use it against you unless you've got somethin' good." Wesley holds his hand out toward the door, though nothing happens. He appears to be waiting for something to come to him.

The guitar axe he often talks about is not with him, so that must be the weapon in question, if he is indeed summoning something.
Sarah Rogers     Sarah walks tothe center of the currently rather small theater, pulls her shield off her back, then turns to face Wesley, "Alright God-boy. I'm ready when you are. If you've got a weapon I suggest you go get it." She says with a confident smirk, then lifts a few inches into the air until she's eye level with him. "You wanna go first or shall I?"
Wesley Wilson "I'm waitin' for my weapon to get here, it's kinda far away." Wesley raises an eyebrow. "You gonna fight me with a shield?" He shrugs, then starts running, and -leaps-.

He doesn't try to outright -hit- her, he tries to -land- on her, boots first, attempting to dump all of his weight into knocking her off of her feet. He's very clearly not trained, but he's also got a ridiculous amount of physical prowess and experience.
Sarah Rogers     Sarah doesn't even try to dodge, she does take a defensive stance and raises her Vibranium shield to absorb the impact of Wesley trying to pull his death-from-above move. Truth be told she's being almost as wrecklace in her own way.

As Weslely lands on her shield she shoves it hard into his feet to throw him off, proving that she's a lot stronger than she looks. The intent is to get him to fall on his back so she can gloat for a few moments. "From what I can see, all I *need* to fight you is a shield." She grins.
James Rogers Having been invited by his sister over the Union radio, James dons his uniform and gear before leaving his home on the residential branches and heads to the Ring of Philosophy to be a 'cheerleader' for her in her fight with this Mr. Wilson he's been hearing about the past few days. He arrives in time to see Sarah repelling Wesley's attack with her shield. Clapping he finds a place to sit and watch in the stands, leaving his own (identical looking) shield strapped to his back.
Wesley Wilson Wesley hits the ground, starting to roll a few feet back, groaning. "That's a hell of a shield! Oh, it's here!"

He thrusts his feet up to bring him upright again, then holds his hand out.

Through the halls, doors, and narrowly avoiding actually hitting anyone, Old Lucy, the badass guitar axe, flies right into the Ring of Philosophy.

She can hear the sound of thunder as he catches it and holds the guitar up to the ceiling, wind whipping around him, his hair blowing every which way. "Whosoever holds this mighty axe, if they be metal, shall possess the power of Wesley!" before a large bolt of lightning crashes down from the ceiling and onto the tip of his guitar, consuming his entire body for a brief few seconds.
Taylita      Having fought alongside Sarah, Taylita is curious to see her in action again. And hearing that she is actually fighting and not just sparring means she will get to see real action. She hasn't met James, but seeing someone with the same shield she assumes they are comrades, so the saiyan woman floats over to seat herself by James. "Alright! It looks like I haven't missed much!" she says excitedly.
Sarah Rogers     Sarah arches a brow as the guitar flies into the room. She's impressed, especially at the Rather familiar mantra he cries out as he catches it. However. Wesley left himself open for a few moments by showing the thing off, So she takes the opportunity to leap at him and clock him in the jaw. Maybe she was being kind by not pounding him with her shield, or maybe she just wanted the satisfaction of beating on him with her fist. "I think.. You may be my step-brother." She muses as she pulls back and prepares for incoming pain.
James Rogers James smiles at Taylita and says, "No, not much," and then explains, "He discovered how tough father's shield is and just summoned his axe. Had you been a moment or two earlier coming though the entrance you might have had to dodge it." He extends his hand to the saiyan woman and says, "James Rogers, by the way," as a means of intruduction.
Wesley Wilson Wesley goes stumbling back, almost falling but using the axe to support himself. "Freakin', goddamn, you've got a hell of a punch too. And I don't know what you're talkin' about. My dad ain't Super America."

He suddenly turns around, rubbing his jaw as he wraps the strap of his guitar around his neck. Then he begins to play a pretty insane guitar solo. But it's not just for show, dark clouds begin to form under the high ceiling, then with a few particularly enthusiastic strongs, large bolts of lightning start to crash down at Sarah. "Gonna block that with a shield?!"
Sarah Rogers     "That's Captain America you i-- ACK!" Sarah reflexively tries to block the incoming bolt of lighting with her shield, But it's just as conductive as any other metal and she ends up being thrown across the room, sliding along the floor for a couple seconds before stopping, "Okay.." She groans, "I can see I haven't been taking this seriously enough."

She reaches up to her necklace with her right hand, and instantly it becomes a heavy looking Norse Hammer in her hand. Wesley probably senses a bit of an affinity to it even if it's not really from the same world, and the inscription on it is visible to anyone as she lifts herself off the ground and back into the air

'Whosoever holds this hammer, if (s)he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor.'

She points it at Wesley and returns fire with her own bolt of lighting, "Right Back atcha!"
Wesley Wilson "How did you get that?!" Wesley asks, his eyes wide, that moment of surprise being more than enough to toss him through the air, even dropping his axe before he slams -hard- into a wall.

This burns a large scorching hole into his shirt, leaving a smoking simulated burn. He stares down at it, then stares at the hammer. "You ain't supposed to have that! If... if he gave that to you, then I -have- to win, and prove I'm stronger!"

He holds his hand out, his axe immediately flying to him. Then he unfastens the front end of his strap so that he can grip the end of it.

As he starts to walk forward, he starts swinging the strap very rapidly above his head, spinning the guitar rather effortlessly so that it becomes a complete blur of axe blades.

"In case you forgot, my name is Wesley Wilson. And -I'm- the Son of Thor. I ain't gonna have you bein' worthy if I ain't worthy, that's some bullshit!!! What makes you better than me?!" He jumps into the air, spinning around like some kind of death machine while still somehow maintaining the spin of his guitar. Then when he extends his body again, just as he's above to crash down into her, he swings the guitar axe down with a -ridiculous- amount of force, and a -huge- gust of wind, bringing it down toward her head.
Taylita      Taylita had been watching the fight so closely that she almost forgot to reply to James. "Oh! Uh...Taylita." she says, smirking lightly as she shakes his hand. Her grip is quite strong, even for someone as in shape as her. "So, are you guys some sort of team?" she asks, gesturing to his shield after the handshake.
James Rogers "Oh my, I'm going to have to tell Torunn about this," James says regarding the announcement in the ring. Then, to Taylita, he says, "Yes and no. And Yes... and no. I can explain it if you'd like but it is very complicated. Its very multiversey you might say."
Sarah Rogers     "When your Dad retired he said I could have it?" Sarah smirks, it's essentially true. "Don't feel bad, Balder could never lift it either and he's Thor's son too!" The second remark contains a tone of genuine compassion. Being worthy of Mjolnir isn't as easy thing. Oh wait.. there's an axe coming at her head. "Aw crap.."

Sarah does her best to block the attack, but it's motivated more by rage than strength, and while the Star Shield does keep her head from being split open, she still gets plowed into the ground again. She lets out a groan of pain, and there might have been a crunching noise involved.. ick.

"'Kay, Fine... you want it so bad.. just take it." She tosses Mjolnir weakly at Wesley's feet then starts to work on getting to her feet again.
Wesley Wilson Wesley backs up, not taking advantage of her prone position. He instead takes this moment to try and lift Mjolnir. He sticks his axe into the ground, then reaches down to start -tugging-. He pulls hard, as hard as he can, having the strength to lift a car. "COME ON!!!" he shouts, pulling and pulling, but the thing just won't budge. "That ain't fair! I can fight! And my dad ain't the kinda guy who's gonna retire, he's a god, how does a god retire?! Gods don't retire, they die!!!"
Taylita      Taylita blinks a few times as James bounces back and forth between yes and no, then giggles. "I see. So you are in one world, but you guys aren't from the same world?" she says as she turns back to watching the battle. She can't help but snicker as Wesley tugs on the Mjolnir. "What's up with that guy? She was holding that hammer in one hand."
James Rogers "Well, as I've heard it, Mjolnir will only let the worthy pick it up. Its not a strength thing," James says regarding the hammer. "And yeah, we're from different worlds but are both the children of Captain America," he says to clarify the yes/no wierdness.
Sarah Rogers     Sarah takes the momentary respite that Wesley's struggle with Mjolnir gives her to shake off her disorientation and get back into the air, then quickly darts behind him, "You forgot to read the instructions." She chides. She calls Mjolnir back to her hand, having oriented herself so that the hammer hits Wesley hard in the chin on it's way back. "Being able to fight doesn't make you worthy." She says sternly, then proceeds to club Wesley in the side of the head with Mjolnir, as if she was swinging at a golf ball one handed, "What you're fighting *for* is what makes you worthy! You're a Rebel without a Clue! That's why you can't pick this thing up!"
Taylita      Taylita raises an eyebrow at that. "Really?" Now she wants to try picking it up. She watches the fight a bit more, then looks to James. "So, are you able to use that hammer?" she asks him before looking back to the ring. "Or, does that have nothing to do with your bloodline?"
Wesley Wilson Wesley actually snaps all the way back when the hammer hits him in the chin, then when she swings it at his head, he straight up hits the floor. He groans, -his- turn to be disoriented. "I ain't... it don't matter! My dad gave me my -axe-, 'cause I'm totally freakin' metal! I don't need to be worthy!"

He pushes himself up, stumbling like a drunk person, totally seeing double as he turns around to face her. He holds his hand out, calling his axe back to him. "It's enough to be metal! I ain't gotta have a cause. I fight to fight, live to live, breathe to breathe!"

He holds his hands out, blood beginning to seep from his skin, all over his body, until it's entirely coating his skin. Then it immediately turns entirely chrome, almost like the Silver Surfer, though his hair is still very much long and blonde. "I LIVE TO FIGHT!!!"

He charges at her, starting to swing his axe at her, wielding it as it's properly supposed to be wielded. Which is to say... wild, with no form, but -incredibly- fast and accurate. Which swing brings the sound of thunder, each impact brings a gust of wind. "MY FIST BREAKS BONES, AND MY AXE DRINKS BLOOD! THERE AIN'T NO OTHER MEANIN' TO LIFE!!!"
James Rogers James shakes his head, "I haven't even tried. I doubt I am though to be honest...." this last he lets trail away. "And from what she just said it can't be based on bloodlines because the guy she mentioned -- Balder -- he's Thor's son and she said he can't lift it." He looks thoughtful for a moment as he considers how Torunn might react in Wesley's situation.

James then says, "I think its a mistake for Sarah to be refering to her Thor as Mr. Wesley's father. Different but similar people wrom different worlds are still different people," to the sayian woman.
Taylita      Taylita nods as she listens to James. "Yeah, even if the world seems nearly identical, the people from it could be pretty different." she says. Then...she hears Wesley's mantra. Her expression goes flat, then her fists clench and her expression goes to one of anger. Not rage, just the sort of annoyed anger that one gets when one hears something ridiculous. "You live to fight?! That's a terrible thing to live for! It is one thing to like a good fight, it is another to fight because you enjoy hurting others! No wonder you can't lift that hammer!"
Sarah Rogers     Sarah gets some altitude and braces herself for another lighting strike. Meanwhile she spins Mjolnir around, charging it up with a metallic hum until it's crackling with lighting. However, When she hurls it, she's not aiming directly at Wesley, but at his Axe. It looks to her like that's where most of his power's stored. If she can get it away from him long enough maybe she can finish this.

"When I fight it's to end the Battle, to end the War, or to protect those who can't fight for themselves. The thought of endlessly fighting for it's own sake... wearies me. Just my opinion, but maybe that's why you're so angry?"
Wesley Wilson "I AIN'T ANGRY!" Wesley says in what -sounds- kind of like anger, and when that hammer goes flying at him, he swings his axe at it, slamming one indestructible object against another. This causes a crazy reverberation and releasing of energy, electricity just kind of -exploding- and sending him flying back into a wall, releasing his axe.

He's still covered in chrome, but parts of his body are exposed skin, including half of his face, suggesting that the chrome is more like armor than a transformation.

He's on his knees and one hand, using the other to hold his head. "I ain't... I ain't angry... I'm -reveling-! Reveling in battle, reveling in this rush, in even gettin' to fight against my dad's weapon."

When he stands, he's stumbling, holding his head with both hands now. "I don't fight to hurt people, I fight to fight. You get hurt in a fight, but I don't care about hurtin' people, or makin' people suffer, gettin' hurt is just a part of the fight, that's how fightin' works! Guh, my head..."
James Rogers "That's anger," James says to Taylita in a way that speaks of personal knowledge of the subject. He then calls out to Wesley, "Remember this is the Multiverse, odds are your dad and her Thor aren't the same guy!"
Sarah Rogers     Sarah protects as much of her body as she can behind her shield. She's mostly safe from the explosion but she grunts as some of the lightning reaches her. She backs away further from Wesley and calls her hammer back to her hand, "I have to assume you're at least partially faking." She says apologetically, "But I really don't want to do this anymore."

She's eying Wesley carefully for sudden movements as she speaks. "At first I was having fun too, maybe even a little revelry." She admits, "But you don't exactly look like you're reveling anymore either. How about we call this a draw and I buy you a drink?" She offers hopefully.
Taylita      Taylita just huffs and folds her arms over her chest as Wesley keeps talking. "I know what anger is. I'm a saiyan." she says, her monkey tail swishing as if to emphasize the point. "Fighting just to fight makes no sense. I like to fight, but I don't fight just to fight. I fight to test my strength and the strength of others, as well to see if they are honorable or not. Fighting is the best way to see." she says.
James Rogers James nods at most of Taylita's comments but then says, "You'll have to tell me what a Saiyan is sometime." He then stifles a yawn desipte the action in the ring. "I've been up too long tonight to stick it out." He yells up at Sarah, "Not that you need it but... good luck! I've got to go find my bunk!"
Sarah Rogers     "Take Care James! Sorry I didn't chat.. have to stay focused!" Sarah says with a quick glance towards her brother.
Wesley Wilson "My freakin' head hurts, I feel like all the sounds and shit hit my brain when my axe hit the hammer." Wesley explains as he holds his hand out to call his axe back, then straps it around to his back. "Hey, is my shirt gonna go back to normal when we shut this crap off?"

"I get stronger, it's nice gettin' stronger so I can fight stronger people. It's nice to test how strong I am. But I just like to fight more than anything else, other than like, playin' guitar." He says as he walks over to Taylita, shaking his pained head. "I like to win, but I don't care if I lose either."
Taylita      Taylita raises a hand to wave goodbye to James. "I'll be happy to explain sometime." she says as he heads out.
James Rogers James heads out with Taylita but takes a different direction from there as he heads towards his home on the residental branches of Njorun Station.
Taylita      Taylita then looks over at Wesley since he actually spoke to and approached her. "Well...I guess that's kinda the same thing. Still, when you go around saying your fist likes to break bones and your axe drinks blood, it doesn't sound good." she says, then smirks a bit. "You should probably get your head checked out."
Sarah Rogers     Sarah returns Mjolnir to it's necklace form to show she's serious about stopping, but stays wary just it case, "Yeah.. I don't quite understand how this place works, but it's somewhere between a hologram and an illusion, People have been melted into a puddle in here and come out perfectly fine. You're shirt's nothing." She smiles. She clicks her shield into place on her back and decends to the floor, where she offers Wesley a hand to help him up.
Wesley Wilson Wesley takes Sarah's hand, giving her a once over, then he looks over at Taylita. "You say some shit in the middle of battle, just happens. It's totally freakin' metal, and scares the shit outta people. But, eh, guess I've gotta deal with it now. People know who my dad is, so now I'm just gonna be 'That guy who's Thor's son'."
Sarah Rogers     Sarah gives Wesley's hand a reassuring squeeze as she helps him up, "Personally I'm pround of who my father is, but I get it. I can't speak for everyone here but I'm not gonna say a word about who your Dad is unless you're cool with it." She fingers her necklace for a moment. "This thing is a big responsibility. That why I don't go flashing it around or letting people play 'Am I worthy' ...Unless they really weant to." She grins a bit. "Point is I can relate in my own way."
Taylita      Taylita hmphs softly, arms still folded over her chest. "I don't. Self-control in battle is very important. If you lose your composure, you could easily lose the battle." she says. But, this isn't really her battle, so she doesn't get into the other stuff. She lets Sarah and Wesley talks, and turns to take her leave. "Good fight, you two. Next time I'll have to get in on it." she says in a much more friendly tone as she heads for the exit.
