Scene #2662: When Dollmakers Host Parties

Alice Margatroid	Curious to as what she did when she announced she had cake, a sudden outcry of wanting cake flooded the broadband. "At least I made a bit." Alice comments to Hourai and Shanghai as she makes the finishing touches with the frosting on the cake. Various other dolls are attending the living area and the kitchen, either dusting or making tea for the unknown amount of guests she's expecting to receive. "You did send out the invites, right Hourai?" Hourai gives a light nod, "All were sent out quickly, though I was not able to get any other replies. Best to hope and wait for them to come. I'm sure they will like what you baked." Shanghai, however, is a bit more cheerful, "Shall I set up the stage for the bunraku?" this pauses Alice for a moment, but with a soft nod, Shanghai's zooming off in the cottage, "Set it up on the deck. We'll have the meeting there." A few dolls with plates, some with cutlery and a few more to set up the table with tea and cake.. the front deck of Alice's cottage is a bustling area as it gets set up, the stage for later being actively built by more dolls and Alice... is in a chair, waiting.
GoGo Tomago	GoGo Tomago zooms into view, dressed as her usual wont in her riding leathers. Dark jacket, slim slacks, and punk 'do. And, of course, she looks as little like tea-party material as possible. But she is there, and she's carrying a couple bags in each hand. "Alice! S'up. Figured if I was coming, I'd bring something for the group. Got about six different flavors of ice cream here."
Dukemon X	There was invite for food and things! How could Duke turn down invite for food and given recently he asked help from the Multiverse, he in turned needed to be sure he return the help to others as well. After all, this was a two fold deal! So the small four foot raptor dragon made his way to the location. His ears fins perked up as he looked up at the cottage. His gold eyes examined over it, before he then made the rest of his way over, which once he got closer in. He sniffed he air, took a step and softly said, "Hello?" He still wasn't sure how people could react to him.
Fayt Ravus	Fayt honestly has no idea why or how he got in invite, but well... someone sent an invite, not sowing up would be rude. The tiny trader looks just a bit confused as he arrives on the scene. "Um... hello?" he holds up the invitation. "am I at the right place?"
Marisa Kirisame	Marisa actually lives pretty nearby! Between that and her tremendous airspeed, it doesn't take Alice's neighbouring witch much time at all to zoom over towards her cottage. Cake is always good! Especially when it's gift cake. Doubly so when gift cake is happening at someone else's house, because that means you neither need to bake it nor clean up the mess! Add the fact that Alice makes good cake and good tea, and there's little reason to say no. "Heeeey Alice," The witch sing-songs as she zooms up towards the table. Straight to the point as ever, it seems! She gives Shanghai a little belly poke as she takes up a chair, "Looks like you've got a pretty big party goin'!"
Tomoe	She had been curious her self she was needing to get out of the house so to speak and so here she was. Though it might take a moment for some people to click to whom she is. Rather than the towering Alf known as Tomoe? She was here in another form. Those involved in GGO would know this form to be red headed aisen woman known as Eisen Blumen. She was clad in form fitting armour and seemed to be fairly in a good mood s she arrived. "SO this is the place from the looks of things I take it?" It seems someone's Wander mode has expanded a little bit...
Arthur Lowell	ARTHUR LOWELL is here! The boy doesn't look too out of place around Gensokyo, given his relatively feminine appearance and his traditional magely outfit. Really only missing the hat here. "'AY, YO!" He calls out. "Heard there was some CAKE up in this shit, and a HANGOUT!" He's emerging from the forest, driving weightlessly. Marisa is instantly recognized! "'AY, it's the WITCH! What up! How've YOU been since WEIRD MUSHROOM HELL?" And then there's Fayt and Tomoe! "SHIT, been a LONG TIME since I saw you two! How've YOU KIDS been?" Then he quickly zips on over to the tables, settling in at the table in a reclining sort of posture, watching the dolls curiously while still pushing the usual forced coolkid atmosphere.
Alice Margatroid	As the comers arrive, the dolls seem to stop their work and take a curious look at them. Only one of them they instantly know. Shanghai lets out a soft giggle at the belly poke and Hourai's instantly right next to her, staring Marisa down intently. Alice, however, shakes her head and claps her hands, the dolls moving to resume their tasks with only the faintest glimmer around. "Hello, Marisa. Make yourself at home like you usually do." she comments, only to look at the ones she don't recognize now. One that gets her attention first is Duke. Now, she's used to monsters but this... this is a weird thing. Does it bite? Does it spe... yes, it does speak. "Ah, make your way over here. I.. I don't have a chair for you, I'm sorry but I think I can make something do... And you are?" she questions, only to turn to one of the other arrivals. Tamago gets one more curious look only for that look to fade with the sacks being brought, a quintuplet of generic looking dolls grab at the bags to take them to the resiquite places at the table, some of them look quite intently at the ice cream inside. "It's nice of you to come. I'll have to get a few more chairs, I didn't expect many to actually show up." Now when Fayt comes in, that's a curious sight, "Hourai, did you send invites to anyone or just threw them out there?" Hourai looks a bit sheepish and thrusts Shanghai forth, "She said to!" Alice shakes her head and looks towards Fayt, "Welcome, it's nice to have more people here." and with a look to Hourai, she slinks off.. "We'll need a few more chairs, Hourai." The last one she only knows by voice... and inflection. "Arthur's here." she comments, but on meeting visual contact with the god-like being... well.. "Seems that this also makes a convinent point to catch up with each other then, doesn't it?"
Dukemon X	Duke watches the dolls work, before he looks to Alice who addresses him. He gives her a wave of his claw-paw hand. "I can sit in chairs easily enough long as they don't have much of a backing or a couch." He sounds like a young pre-teen really, but those golden eyes are telling of so much more to those who are observant of such things. "My name is Duke!" He says to her before he extends out his claw hand for a shake. "I'm a Digimon... a urm... Digital Monster. Its nice to meet you!" His gold eyes gaze over those who are coming in and back to the dolls again. He tilts his head gently, before looking to her. "You have a really nice place!" He points his claw finger at one of the dolls, "But what is up with the dolls?"
Fayt Ravus	Fayt blinks slowly as Alice seems to argue with her dolls. "...that would explain why this invitation hit me in the back of the head." with that said, he curiously watches the dolls, not saying anything but slowly tiling his head to the side out of curosity. "...huh."
Marisa Kirisame	Hourai doesn't get away without a belly poke of her own! Equal pokes for every doll that asks. "Pfahaha, well if you're offerin'~" She grins at Alice before reclining into her chair like she owns all the land that she surveys. "I'll just go right ahead and get comfy. S' a shame we ain't using the dining room though. Ah well, s' a nice day." Arthur gets a cheery salute. "Oi! Hey! How's that arm of yours? I didn't shatter too much of it, did I?" She chuckles, leaning over the table towards the FELLOW BROOMSMAN. "An' you're talking about that place like it weren't the best dungeon ever. I've never seen so many mushrooms outside of... Uh..." Beat. "This here forest, actually. Funny that."
GoGo Tomago	Duke points his claw finger at one of the dolls, "But what is up with the dolls?". It's about that point that GoGo realizes that she's surrounded by animated dolls. The glassy eyes. The blank (or not so blank, she's not sure which would be creepier) stares. The not QUITE human movements. She's been afraid before. She's been worried. She's told people to 'woman up'. Never once in her entire life has GoGo Tomago been this out of her mind with fright and terror. With a quiet gibber of terror, she starts to very slowly back up. 'Don't let them know you're afraid. Don't let them know you're there. You gave them ice cream. That should distract them.' she thinks to herself. Her combat-trained nerves are wound to the snapping point as she attempts to restrain her overwhelming desire to run. Run and never look back at this abomination. Find a safe place to curl up and hide and cry for a while.
Arthur Lowell	"SHIT YES I'm here!" Arthur says, beaming and firing off a little fingergun gesture at Alice. "That's when you know the PARTY'S STARTED. Yeah, I CATCH UP with a LOTTA DUDES, I know practically goddamn EVERYONE in the MULTIVERSE y'know." And then he makes a soft "pfffft" noise at Marisa. "YEAH, the arm's FINE! I softened the IMPACT using my BONES! Plus I've got HELLA MANGRIT, I can sleep somethin' like THAT off EASY. And the FUNGUS? UGH, you'll find ALL KINDS of growth in DUNGEONS around the multiverse. PLANTS, WEIRD FLESH, FUNGUS, blech. GRODY AS HELL. S'cool, though, different strokes. What's the DEAL with you and the MUSHROOMS anyway?" GoGo Tomago gets a look, Arthur squinting at her as if trying to discern something through mist. "YO, you ALRIGHT there? Lookin' a lil' STRESSED OUT. You FORGET somethin' you NEEDED?" This is actually deftly focused; he figures GoGo's "RETREAT RETREAT RETREAT" look means she might want to get some distance or at least be aware that she can leave, so he'll provide that easily. "STICK AROUND, whatever your DEAL is, can't be THAT BAD."
Tomoe	Eisen grins at Arthur for a moment. "Dealing with thing sin GGO, there's been some issues that delayed the BoB, so been grinding snooping for info mostly. You? I heard you been pretty much all over the place. She's looking over at their host, her host would be able to tell that the red headed woman is some sort of construct of 1s and 0s. Though there seems to be like it's some sort of remote really someone else is pulling it's strings but there's no hostile intent. Still there may be more to it as there's almost like tendrils from whoever is behind Eisen controling her. "It's good to meet you and you have quite ... a few dolls.I'm getting ahead of myself, thank you for this invite!" She looks to Gogo for amoment and notices she seems a bit on edge, she does however not raise this she is however clearly looking at her.
Alice Margatroid	A Digimon? Hmm, Alice makes a mental note to see what that is later, this one doesn't SEEM hostile right now. Right now..."Thanks for the comment. It took me a while to get it but it's a well kept house. My dolls and I take good care of it." beat "Mostly the dolls." The question given is a curious one though, "What about them? They're here to help me, I've made them all." This is when she gets another look at Tamago, frowning some. "Is something wrong? I do hope that nothing is the matter, would hate to have my guests turned away." though, Tamago's reaction is... admittedly, par for the course for guests tha she gets here. "Come, take a seat and enjoy yourself. I'll have a doll bring you some tea." Alice shakes her head a bit at Arthur's reaction, "Take it easy, this is supposed to be a relaxing visit, not a high energy festival of the dead or something." she ... actually smiles a bit from this, "Take in your fill, everyone, I have quite a few ready to snack on and can make more if it gets low." Fayt gets a frown, "Did Hourai hit you or anything? I'll have her apologize if she did, but go on, take your fill. I have plenty! And I have some general care if you're injured. Don't want to have anything befall my guests." Marisa gets a look from the end of that sentence, "You get out a lot more than I do, care to introduce me to some of these people?"
Alice Margatroid	A look to Tomoe is returned, Alice's eyes getting a soft red glow to them, but shaking her head some. "Welcome, I didn't think there was another dollmaker around that had such an articulate and masterfully crafted doll such as yourself., ONce again, do enjoy yourself!"
Dukemon X	Duke nods gently to Alice and ahs at her answer, "I see!" He then looks at all the guests again, trying to get a feel for anyone he /might/ now, but he does know one-- GoGo and she is freaking out a bit. Even with Alice's calm words, the Guilmon X walks over to her and then nudges his snout to her hand. There was a gentle purr from him, his ear fins back as he stares up at her. "It is okay, Gogo. They wont hurt you and I'll protect you this time if they do!" He hasn't forgotten what she did for him, how she protected him once from those wild pokemon and also came to his aid against that crazy Digimon.
GoGo Tomago	GoGo Tomago sits down heavily near Duke. "Don't let them touch me. Don't let them come near me please dear god. I don't think I could handle it." she says, making sure Duke stays firmly between her and the creepy dolls.
Marisa Kirisame	"Uhhh, actually I only know blue-hair over there and Arthur," Marisa replies, wearing a disarming grin. "And I only got to talk to blue boy for a few minutes. Kinda broke into his house by accident, you know how it is." Apparently it happens frequently enough for people here to 'know how it is.' "Arthur's a cool guy though. He's not bad on a broom, but not as amazing as yours truly," she smirks, moving a hand to prop up her chin. "Overall not bad, though. I dunno what the deal with the rest of these jokers is, but you better stop 'em before they torch your dolls." Arthur gets a big thumbs up from the witch. "Hey! Good to hear you ain't dying. I was kind of worried for a bit. I dunno why more people DON'T do the whole mushroom thing though. Mushrooms are awesome. Delicious, nutritious, and packed with a whole ton of essential Vitamins and Magical Minerals that every proper sorceress should need." "Also, there's a ton here, and you learn to work with what you've got, you know?"
Fayt Ravus	"I don't know?" Fayt replies. "I just felt something hit the back of my head, then pulled this thing out of my hair. Never saw who dropped it off." there's a pause, before he adds "Erm... thank you." Then he notices Marisa. There's a sort of long, awkward pause as he looks at her, slowly blinking as realization sets in befure he suddenly points at her, sounding just a bit suprised. "You again?!"
Alice Margatroid	Now that was a reaction she /never/ got. Usually it was just leaving... this... this was fear. "They're all under my control, miss. They aren't going to hurt you. But if you're that scared, I can show you the safe way out of the forest and leave Hourai and Shanghai here for a bit to entertain the rest. So please, do not feel compelled to stay." With that out of the way, her hand is nudged by the digimon... and is met with a few good headpets. "They won't torch them unless they do not want to have a way to step foot here in the forest again." she muttered the response to Marisa's reply, shaking her head, "Never had this reaction before, it's... odd." a shrug is given as the final board is laid in the doll's stage. "Marisa is also a nut about mushrooms. I'm surprised her own house isn't a mushroom yet." The 'You again?!' comment gets Alice's attention, turning towards Fayt with a frown, "I do not want any fighting in front of my house again, I already had that three times... I don't need to make it a fourth. Let's just get along here and have some cake, tea and watch the maiden's bunraku."
GoGo Tomago	GoGo Tomago shudders quietly. "I trust Duke. He can keep me safe." she says, shuddering again. "Sorry... Just. Dolls creep me out. I don't know why. I've never been able to have action figures either." she stammers. Anyone who knows GoGo would know that the normally confident, outgoing woman is not hersel.
Arthur Lowell	"SURE, RELAX! Don't worry, I am SO COOL you could KEEP A SIDE OF MEAT IN ME." Arthur says, with utmost confidence, to Alice. "I take this stuff SO EASY." A few stylishly flicky motions draw in the silverware and some tea with lightless gravity magic, and he gets to work on digging in. As he does, he's yammering with Marisa some more. "YEAH, I can RESPECT that. Gotta just USE what you GOT. I did a bunch of my MAGIC CRAFTING STUFF with PUNCHCARDS and stuff that looked like FRUIT GUSHERS for a while, I ain't judgin'. Still, though, that POLLEN, god DAMN." He's asiding back to Alice. "She says she's BETTER ON A BROOM, but you'll hear the SAME from ME. One'a these days we'll SETTLE IT RIGHT, let ya know when it GOES DOWN huh?" There's a friendly wink at the end there!" Then he's making gestures between Alice and Fayt. "Ehhh, FIDGETY BLUE here isn't the kind for STARTING FIGHTS. I think I heard there was some WEIRDNESS goin' on, a BORROWING thing? Whateeeev'. S'all cool." He takes another bite just to punctuate things.
Dukemon X	Duke gives a nod to Alice and then nudges GoGo. "It will be ok! Like she said! I'll get you some cake and you'll feel better!" It should help, right? Cake makes everything better! The Digimon moves about the group and between the dolls, before he leaps up on an empty chair to use it as balance. He gives a wave to the others, before getting a cake for GoGo, then another for himself. He uses his teeth to balance one plate which he plans to eat, while holding the others between his two paws. Then with an easy step down from the chair, he goes to make his way back over to GoGo with cake. Four foot dino-lizard coming through!
Marisa Kirisame	"Me again!" Marisa beams at Fate and does a mischevious little wave with her fingers. "You ever get that door fixed after I lasered it open? Can't imagine many handymen wanna come that far underground just for a doorknob." Shame? What shame? It's common knowledge in Gensokyo that Marisa Kirisame lacks anything resembling a Shame Gland. She does, however, have a mild addiction to tea and cakes. Which is why she's got cup full of the hot stuff hooked on one of her fingers. She hasn't quite had any yet, though, considering all the people-talking she's doing. "Yeah, jeez, those allergies were kinda nuts. I used to have some myself," she pauses to dump a couple lumps of sugar into her cup, "But I got over 'em real quick-like. Burnt it out by shoving my face right up into all those mushrooms, I guess." "And uh, don't worry about us fightin' any, Alice," Marisa smirks, "Not after the last time. If I wanna laser anyone, I'll just broom-tackle us both over to my place or something."
Tomoe	Eisen looks to Alice for a moment smiles a little bit. "Wait you can tell? That's not very common." She seems in good spirits about it as she looks for a spot to sit down if that's workable. She then thinks for a moment. "I'm not the direct craftor. I was given the tools more or less to make myself as you see me. Some days I feel more real about this than what I might be considered to be real." She's taking things in stride from the sounds of things. Now she sits down and she looks to Gogo and sees she's got an issue with dolls. She can understand that and will keep her distance from Gogo not wnating to unsettle her more. Marisa gets a look and she blows a strand of hair out of her eyes for a moment. "You all can call me Eisen Blumen." Her tone seems to hint this isn't the only name she goes by. Sghe also looks over to Duek and gives him a smile. "Hello to you as well."
Dukemon X	Duke spins around on his foot and speaks a bit muffled to Tomoe as she says 'hi' to him. Hard to speak with a plate in the mouth after all. "Hello! Would take more, but need to get a cake to a friend." Then he spins back about to get over to GoGo.
Fayt Ravus	"The Union was able to fix it, and reimburse for the damages you caused." He, perhaps understandibly, looks just a bit annoyed, alice quickly gets his attnetion though. "Huh? Oh, sorry. Don't worry, I wasn't about to, again sorry." That said, he starts to slowy nibble at his piece of cake, idly glacing around to see if anyone he recoginses is here.
GoGo Tomago	GoGo Tomago looks over to Tomoe... And notes her inching away... She raises a hand. "Y-You're fine..." she stammers. "Come on and sit with me." she says. "I'm not normally this freaked out."
Alice Margatroid	Alice shakes her head some, giving a light nod. "Perhaps it may be best to finally introduce myself. I'm Alice Margatroid, the Dollmaker and Dollmaster of Gensokyo. Or to some, the seven colored puppeteer. I can assure you that every doll here is under my direct control, even if you do not see the strings." she smiles, moving to take some cake of her own as dolls still move abouts, some even performing a little show on the stage. "I'm normally not one to have visitors but this was a special occasion. I wanted to see people from everywhere, here... instead of going out to see, and well, everyone likes cake!" Alice gives a nod towards "Eisen", "Of course I can tell, but it's something I won't let out of anywhere but here."
Tomoe	Tomoe looks to Duke nodding a little bit and seems amused she doesn't press him and lets him get back to his cake. She looks to Gogo smile a little and does move to sit down with her and will try some of the food that's been offered to her.
Arthur Lowell	"HAH, yeah, I know THAT way. BURN THE WEAKNESS OUT, it works GREAT! Until it DOESN'T, I guess, then it's AWFUL." Arthur says, starting very upbeat to Marisa and then getting a little concerned by the end. "ANYWAY! Yeah, figured YOU TWO weren't gonna start a FIGHT. I mean, HUGE WITCH over there, most DEF' gonna start FIGHTS in a LOT OF PLACES, that's just a fact, but BLUE FIDGETS here?" He gives a friendly wave to Fayt. "NAH, no way. Not that the dude's HARMLESS, it's just that he's DELIBERATE, and all the FIGHTS he gets in on are gonna be SENSIBLE, least on HIS PART." Then a few more friendly waves to Alice, as Arthur finishes off one piece of cake early, alread getting another. "ALICE! Nice meetin' ya, you've already heard who I am. ARTHUR LOWELL, ROCKET-POWERED JERK. Plus MAGE OF SPACE and SYNDIE-NET ADMIN on the side. You do DOLLMAKIN' huh?" He shifts over to watching the stage, flinging bites of cake into his mouth from the fork the way a person would toss kernels of popcorn. "NICE. Had a FRIEND who got in FIGHTS, she used PLUSHIES in 'em. They turned into KNIVES though, she didn't do FANCY STUFF like THAT. So, this MAGICAL? Or are you just REALLY GOOD with STRINGS or somethin'?"
Dukemon X	Once Duke makes it back over to Gogo, he hands her the plate of cake, before he goes to take the one out of his mouth. Blehing a bit at the taste of the plate, he plops down beside her. He watches as Tomoe walks over to join them and tails wave to her. He then starts to eat his cake and looks to the stage, the Digimon trying to note down the movements and also keep up with some of the different idle chatter going around. Duke does look over to Alice once more, he also waits till he swallows to talk up, "Thanks for having us Alice! ...and also for the cake!" Manners are important kids.
Marisa Kirisame	"Fear's just weakness leavin' the body, right?" Marisa snickers, taking a loooong sip of her tea. "I dunno. I think I just grew out of it, you know? Used to be allergic to cats too! Not anymore. Maybe it got chased away by all the pollen and the spores." She inclines her head at Fayt, then. "Huh. Really? I thought Psy wasn't gonna cover that stuff. Ah well, maybe you've got some other source." Whatever! It's a bill she doesn't have to pay! Hohohoho. "I ain't gonna brawl here, though. Waste of good cake." Everybody loves cake! Especially chocolate cake. (Anyone who does not love chocolate cake deserves absolutely none of what they're missing)
GoGo Tomago	GoGo Tomago nods and starts eating the cake in small, fitful bites. "Thank you, Duke." she says, kissing his cheek. "You're the nicest monster I've ever met." she says before offering a hand to Tomoe. "GoGo Tomago."
Fayt Ravus	Fayt looks back to Marisa. "Psyber wouldn't, claiming he doesn't take responsibility, but the Union itself was willing to help out." not that a door would matter much to Fayt, but it's the principle! When Alice Introduces herself, Fayt gives a slight nod. "Nice to meet you. nice to meet you. I'm Fayt. I work as a trader in the multiverse."
Alice Margatroid	"It's a specialty set of magic I've developed after I left Makai... after a CERTAIN PERSON OR TWO..." a stare at Marisa, "Helped tear it down... so I fled to Gensokyo and made my home here... Worked on doll magic for a couple hundred years and here I am." she gives a light nod, "Though, if you notice..." she sets up a few dolls, moves away a bit and checks location. "They're still on strings, just... let me show you." a pause. "Trip Wire." red magic quickly shoots through Alice's fingers and heads towards a doll, then bounces off to another and then a third one before dissipating. "Some are linked, some are not and I keep the 'strings' hidden if I can to surprise people. It's all a game of keep away, where the goal is to keep you... away from me." She turns towards Marisa, nodding. "I guess you could say that but what's this Union thing?" she questions, "And this Confederacy while we're at it." another pause. "Plushies that turn into knives? Perhaps this person and I should collaberate on a design... I could use something like that."
Alice Margatroid	Alice turns to give a look at Duke, nodding, "I have plenty more, help yourself. Though, I ... hmm. Hourai, go grab a bowl and fill it with tea, that may serve our..." hmm.. "Digital Monster friend a good cup to drink from."
Tomoe	Eisen looks to Gogo for a moment. "I go by Eisen Blumen like this, other times Tomoe." She admit accepting the other woman's hand and shaking it. She seems to be in a good mood. Eisen looks to Gogo for a moment longer. "Well the food's pretty good, Gogo. If Gogo knows a bit of German? Wouldn't that make the lady's name mean something like Iron Flower?
Dukemon X	Duke looks to Tomoe as she introduces herself, "Eisen Blumen is a nice name, I'm Duke! Pleasure to meet you." He says with a smile, though when Gogo gives him a kiss on the cheek, his gold eyes go wide with some surprise and then he blushes a bit. "Th-thanks Gogo. I always try to be." Duke ahems a bit a and looks over to Alice, "Thank you. Cups are hard to drink from in this form. I mean I /can/, but it gets tricky if they are to small." The Digimon then looks over to Fayt over hearing some of the conversation, "Your a trader, huh? What do you trade?" He seems genuinely interested.
GoGo Tomago	GoGo Tomago will help Duke drink if he needs it. The distraction of helping him seems to be calming her down a little. "Iron Rose, huh? Met someone recently named the Ebony Rose. Any relation?"
Arthur Lowell	"No no, PAIN'S just weakness leavin' the body. FEAR'S just weakness PUNCHING ITS TICKET." Arthur says, pounding one fist into the opposite palm, and grinning intensely at Marisa. And then it's time to focus on other stuff. He tilts his head at Alice and seems to legitimately ponder the display going on on-stage. "NICE." He declares, finally. "Looks STYLIN' too. Most of my PERFORMANCE, I gotta do on the BATTLEFIELD, can't show much'a MINE off, but that looks like you got some MAJOR performance potential on and off that shit. You do many PERFORMANCES? Got a LOT of STORIES around the MULTIVERSE that could do with tellin'." He grins and then winks at Marisa, briefly. "IN FACT, y'know, if you're into the whole PUPPET PERFORMANCE thing, ain't a better source of RAD TALES and SICK DESIGNS for STAGE PRODUCTION than you'll find out in the MULTIVERSE. You ever thought about gettin' OUT and ABOUT in some real ADVENTURES, get yourself some NEW MATERIAL?"
Marisa Kirisame	"Oh, well it all worked out in the end, then!" Marisa snickers, "You think you'd be glad to have a beautiful young maiden like myself beatin' down your door, blue boy." She might flip her hair a little bit. Just a little though. Marisa's not too great at this whole Feminine Mystique thing. "And for the record! It was four people that broke into Makai," she corrects, taking a sip of tea. "And we didn't tear any of it down. We just broke in. That was mama dearest's doin', what when she went all DESTROYER GODDESS on our heads." Marisa grins, "I mean, we still beat her, but she was the one who doom-lasered all over the place. Comparatively, we didn't do all that much!" "And, uh. The Union is like... A country, I guess? A bunch of countries? They seem mostly like decent guys. I haven't really gotten into the whole political show myself." Politics have never really been a thing that Marisa's cared too deeply about. Arthur gets a firm, knowing nod, then. "Yeah! Something like that. And then if you're both hurting in an awful way and scared shitless, and still manage to do things right, you get to kick weakness right out on its ass." There's a beat as Marisa swirls around her tea. "I think that line kinda got away from me. Ah well."
Alice Margatroid	Alice gives a firm look to Alice, "And Shinki wouldn't have done it if you four didn't... oh... why am I even discussing this." she scoffs a bit and looks down some... "Shinki..." she shakes her head a bit and humphs. "Either way... I'm here so.." Shanghai and Hourai are both seen carrying a small bowl filled with tea, slowly flying towards GoGo and Duke, "HEre you go! Have some tea!" Shanghai, with all her cheerfulness, says. Hourai just shakes her head as she looks towards Alice and Marisa, insert frown here. Alice turns towards Arthur, and considers. "I am the only known puppeteer here in Gensokyo. And both on and off the danmaku stage I do performances, not great auditorial masterpeices like the Prismrivers, but when the Scarlet Devil Mansion wants some entertainment they do send a note to me. It's... kind of nice. Even the Human Village likes it too. The proposal gets some more consideration, "Real adventures? NOt just the incidents here?" Alice places her finger on her lips, looking a bit in thought. "My dolls need me but I could stand to go out more. I did see a beautiful beach area not too long ago, owned by Caster." another pause, "Mmm. Just I wonder if they would take kindly to the dolls working by themselves..."
Dukemon X	Duke probably need a touch of help, mostly to get the bowl to swap with the plate and back again. When he is given the tea he gives the two a big smile, "Thanks!" He says with a minor draconic purr. Then he glances over as he listens to the conversation about doll making and such things. Taking some interest in it as well. After all the demonstration with the strings was pretty neat and it was a topic he has never heard about before. It was something he could talk to Alexis about when he got home.
GoGo Tomago	GoGo Tomago smiles and pats Duke's head. "So tell me Duke... How have you been lately? Ain't seen yuh around the area too much."
Arthur Lowell	"HAH. I've seen WEIRDER than DOLLS kickin' it with the ADVENTURERS I roll with. I mean, GOLEMS, ROBOTS, INDEPENDENT DOLLS... Eh, it's ACCEPTED MOSTLY. Plus, you seem pretty NICE, can't possibly catch TOO MUCH trouble 'round the 'verse. You'll do FINE. More PLEASANT COMPANY than I AM at least, huh?" He chuckles there, at his own joke. And then double fingerguns to Marisa. "SHIT YEAH, that's GREAT. Love that kinda philosophy. Near KILLED ME, back in the day, but it's how I POWER LEVELLED up to where I am NOW. Still kinda near KILLS ME sometimes. But hey! So do MOST GOOD THINGS!"
Alice Margatroid	The dolls continue their bunraku and Alice leans back, watching the conversation, her eyes trailing up towards the sky. Other worlds huh? "Arthur? Can you point me in a good direction to try? I think I will try to get out and... see the multiverse. You seem to have a good grasp on it." Hourai and Shanghai look to Alice with a curious disposition, "But.. what about here?" "Oh, it'll be fine. We will return here and rest and research more magic and then go out the next day to find more..."
Dukemon X	Duke tilts his head gently in thought. "Not bad." He frowns a little. "May have a problem coming soon. Though I am not sure what it will mean for the rest of the Multiverse." He takes a bite of the cake after some bowl drinking, which he uses both paws for. "You, Gogo?" His gold eyes look over to Arthur as he talks some more with Alice & Co. His ear fin flicks gently as he listens in, trying to follow what the man is saying in his odd way of speaking. Its also pretty fascinating to observe him, instead of just hearing him on the radio.
GoGo Tomago	GoGo Tomago shakes her head. "Looking for my friends." she says with a sigh. "No luck, so I've been studying and working to keep my mind off of it. What's going on with the multiverse?"
Marisa Kirisame	"And if she didn't send a bunch of spirits into Gensokyo for a sightseein' tour," Marisa smirks, "We wouldn't'a gone down there! But I guess it all more or less turned out okay. I mean, you're here, I'm still alive, and Shinki single-handedly fixed the unemployment problem by needing to rebuild pretty much everywhere!" Even Makai can suffer from economic woes, apparently. "Yeah, that's right," she turns back towards Arthur, then. "Ain't nothing that's worth doing was ever easy going. If it doesn't kick your ass a little bit, you're doing it wrong!" Or maybe you're doing it right. Marisa thinks otherwise, though! "Anyway, Alice, travellin' outside's pretty fun," she cautions, "But you wanna make sure where you go. Some reeeaaaally sketchy places out there."
Dukemon X	Duke hears about going outside and the 'sketchy' part which causes his eye ridges to furrow a bit in thought before he speaks up. "They are a bit right, Alice. Some places are more dangerous then others, so having some of your dolls with you may not be a bad idea." He shrugs his shoulders lightly. "Other places are pretty great, but its like people... some are wonderful... others are jerks." Duke then looks to Gogo. "Mmm. One of the Royal Knights showed up recently... the Royal Knights work for Yggdrasil and its Yggdrasil that had about ninty nine percent of the Digimon killed off. If not for the Unity, that plan may have worked."
GoGo Tomago	GoGo Tomago shakes her head slowly. "Sorry hon, you lost me." she says, nibbling her cake.
Dukemon X	Duke lightly chuckles, "...I think I did a better job explaining it at the meeting, besides we are not here for that, but we are here for cake, fun, and to hang out with Alice!"
Arthur Lowell	"SURE!" Arthur says, whipping up what looks like some kind of weird menu interface in the air next to him. It looks like some kind of game pause screen! "LET'S SEE, LET'S SEE, QUESTS... We got those QUESTS comin' in from EORZEA, Marisa and I went on one'a those recently. Always got TONS OF ENDORSEMENT for the WMAT stuff, maybe you can SIGN ON for COMMENTING or something if you wanna take a look around? Got plenty of shit coming down the SYNDIE NET, lock in on THAT. The FLOTILLA people are doin' a lotta jobs too, could HANG OUT with 'em. I hear, what's his name, DUKE over there gets involved in a couple WEIRD ADVENTURES, dunno what's goin' on in THAT corner. WHATEVER, I guess." He shrugs! "That oughta get you STARTED, at least."
Alice Margatroid	Alice gives a light nod, "I'm always well protected. Ask Marisa. I've beaten her in a spellcard duel a few times. And my dolls are never far behind, with certain spells, I can even bring them from Gensokyo no matter where I am." Alice gives a look towards Arthur, that screen looks a bit odd floating there but then again, it's Arthur. "Eorzea huh? And a Flotilla? I think I'll check those out. And Duke.. you mean.." she gives a look at Duke, blinking. "If... he needs my assistance perhaps." A pause as the WMAT is mentioned. "I entered."
Tomoe	Tomoe smiles back at Duke and says "Thank you it is good to meet you. I heard you a bit on the radio but not much else I admit." She tilts her head and smirks. "Close enough but you ghot it, and I'm afraid I have not met anyone by that name. Still you caught it I'm impressed." She now grabs another little something t eat while looking to Arthur who is loud and amusing as ever. Also their host gets a look and she pauses for a moment. "Those wound like good place to go looking and your in WMAT? Should be fun i'm in again this year."
Dukemon X	Duke gets mentioned and nods his head. "Mm! I sometimes go to a few different adventures. Been to a place with super heroes, another place with creepy dungeons..." He taps his snout with his index claw in thought, "We do sometimes need help against other Digimon too... including if something doesn't want to stay away..." The Guilmon X shakes his head, "But if you ever like some help, Alice-- or any of you. Let me know!" He grins, "I'm more the I appear. I assure you of that! GoGo has seen like... all four of my forms." He then finishes off the bowl of tea. "This tea is really good!" "I've also signd up for WMAT as well." Duke adds.
Marisa Kirisame	"Or you could just do what I do and go around huntin' treasure and causin' trouble wherever and whenever you can. Evenetually someone shows up to stop you and you get to meet new people! Or they don't, and you get loot." Marisa grins over a chunk of partially-eaten cake. There's a big, awful bite mark right in the corner of it! Poor cake, being so cruelly eaten. "Either way, it works!" "Or you could, I dunno, put on shows in places and stuff. I ain't really one for big fighting tournaments, though. Too much, uhhh." She rolls her finger around in the air. "Rule-grubbin' and stuff."
Arthur Lowell	"Oh, hey, well SHIT, there y'go." Arthur says, making a broad, approving sort of gesture. "Already IN on THAT SHIT, nice. MEET some people! Try an' make a few friends with the COMMENTATORS, or the DUDES you're FIGHTING, and eventually ONE OF 'EM will land in HOT WATER you'll be PULLIN' 'EM OUTTA." He finishes off his cake, twirls the fork around on one finger, and slips both the plate and the fork into the center of the table in a single smooth motion. "MARISA'S got it too, but if you're lookin' for solid PUPPET MATERIAL, jump on into the SYNDIE NET JOBS and you'll catch SOMETHIN', eventually. Just don't stay COOPED UP here, if you can HELP IT, nothin' worse than bein' IDLE when we're livin' the HYPEST AGE EVER!"
Alice Margatroid	"You're right. I'll see about getting out there some more." a pause as she looks to GoGo... "I.. just hope she does not have a panic attack and start attacking my dolls. She worries me..." Alice gives a lean back in her chair and a light smile, letting the dolls continue their work, "Marisa, you're helping me clean this you know." she looks towards the Magician out from the corner of her eyes, "Hourai won't let you live it down if you refuse."
Marisa Kirisame	"Wh-" Marisa blinks up at Alice, her face contorted in an expression of DOUBLE INCREDULITY. "Why am I the only one helping?! Jeez, ain't like I made any more of a mess than anyone else..." Still, she gets up and starts packing things away, muttering something about 'smug dolls' as she piles up the plates.
