Owner Pose
Tatsuto Satou     The DigiPort opens up a scant few yards from te Primary Village. The sensation of familiarity should hit the two Exiles almost immediately - the 'feel' of this Digital World is unlike that of any Real World they may have visited. The very air feels oddly 'charged'.

The Primary Village is built out of what look to be oversized construction blocks, with various characters on their faces - Digi Letters, Latin characters, Arabic numerals and strange squiggles that don't really resemble any language the two Digimon might know. The dozen-or-so rough houses are surrounded by a white picket fence, with a simple gate, like the type you'd find in someone's front yard fence.

The gate is currently open, with a brown-haired teen currently oiling its hinges.
Dukemon X When Tatsuto offered to come see the digital village, how could Duke refuse? The problem Duke saw though was not being tailed by possibly Gaonoir or someone else more unsavory. He thought maybe Beelzebumon at first, but Beelze was not stealthy, this required stealth, so instead he bothered Doran to come along instead, given that Doran has always been a bit wiser and had more of the facts straight.

When the Warp Gate leads them here with a digital flicker of a portal, the feeling of this place gave the red, slim-lined Guilmon X a pose. His gold eyes confused and yet, knowing at the same time. His ear fins lifted up, before they lowered down. He scanned the area as he stood up straighter as he looked around the area.

Was this-- what home was like? What he couldn't remember, but only in pieces and bits within his dreams? Is this how this was before...? Duke's attention turned over to Doran, "The... Village shouldn't be far from here, unless... Ee are already in the village?" He doesn't sound so sure of himself now. His dino-like draconic tail moving side to side. "I--" He then spots the fence, "--That must be it!" He says, pointing a claw toward it and heading that way with some caution.
Doran How long has it been since Doran has last been in the comforting aura of a Primary Village?

As the 4-foot tall Dorumon hops out of the portal, the nostalgic wave crashes through him as he takes a few long, blessed moments to survey his surroundings. The closest world to this feeling had been the Pony world, especially Ponyville itself, but there is nothing like /this/. It is difficult to explain or quantify, and it's really why he accepted Duke's offer to tag along.

That said, reality sets in once Doran looks back at the portal. They MUST be careful here. Not for the Exiles' sake -- for the Village's. "Possibly," he responds to Duke, eyes narrowing a bit as he studies the Village, and the human working on the open gate.

The Dorumon pads after Duke, raptor-like form slung low and almost slinking on quiet paws. His ears and eyes are constantly shifting, taking in every movement and every sound, and he's clearly the more cautious and untrusting of the duo.
Tatsuto Satou     Tatsuto looks up as the two Digimon approach. His head tilts to one side. "...Guilmon and DORUmon?" He thought those two were really rare types. And then realisation dawns on him. "Oh! You must be Duke! And..." He looks towards Doran, smiling. "And you are...?"

That smile almost feels like being snuggled up in a warm blanket. Or eating your mother's home cooking after not tasting it for a year. Not that a Digimon is likely to be familiar with -that- particular sensation...
Doran Doran relaxes for a moment at Tatsuto's smile, his guard lowering, then his fur bristles as he shakes his head for a moment, clearing his mind again. This feeling... just like the Caretakers. But a human Caretaker? He'd never seen the like before... and he's still suspicious of humans as a general rule.

"...I'm Doran," he says, keeping his child-like voice as neutral as possible. "Duke's friend."

He studies the various writings in the immediate vicinity. Some English, some Digicode, and some letters and symbols even he doesn't recognize immediately. Is that Digimoji scattered here and there? "So you're the Caretaker for this Primary Village, ah...?" He didn't catch the human's name.
Dukemon X As the get closer Duke looks around, the Guilmon X is peering at everything, including up at the Digital Sky with some wonder. A part of him wanting to actually cry... Though he isn't sure why as he shakes his head to shake off the feeling.

The red dino-dragon digimon then spots the human and his ear fins perk up, it is probably a good thing Tatsuto has some a hold over his own world, as the emotions plaguing Duke start to settle down. He knows that comforting feeling from Alexis and those around her. Yet, this does cause his ear fins to relax as he looks over to Doran as the other Digimon introduces himself, Duke giving a gentle nod.

"We came as soon as we could, Tatsuto, but we had to be sure we were not being followed." Duke explains with a long sigh as he goes to relax a little. "There are those out there who would take advantage of this village... And you."
Tatsuto Satou     "Oh, uh. Tatsuto Satou. I'm the Guardian of this Primary Village, yeah." He stands up, testing the gate a bit to make sure the squeak's gone, before stepping aside. "Come in, come in. Me casa es tu casa, et cetera." That's 'my house is your house', as the Translation Effect happily supplies.

"I'm not too worried about your jerk of a godputer deciding to nuke this Digital World. Even if he could, I'm with the Union, y'know? If this world was in danger I have a bunch of super strong allies I can beg for help." He grins a bit. Possibly self-deprecatingly.

"Plotmon won't let bad people hurt the Village!" comes the squeaky voice of Plotmon. Who is currently perched atop one of the construction block houses.
Dukemon X Duke snorts softly at the human's words, there was a look of uncertainty to Tatsuto's expressed fearlessness over the matter, but... The human didn't have the reason to be fearful like they were. He didn't know what Yggdrasil was capable of and how far the god computer was willing to go; Including how manipulative it was.

He gently closed his eyes for a moment, before opening them once more with a flicker of blue in his eyes as power shifts in his Digital Core as he goes to step inside. Those clawed paws moving over the surface with ease, "I hope you are right, Tatsuto..." Is all Duke can manage to express right now.

The Guilmon X then looks over to the Plotmon as she speaks up and smiles in her direction, "Ahh... You're the Plotmon on the radio." He grins and wave a paw-hand up to her. "Hello!"
Doran Doran allows himself a small smile. "Hope so," he replies as he steps through the gate. Alexis has the same confidence, and she's also part of the Union. More and more, he worries that such faith will be sorely tested sooner rather than later... but best not borrow trouble

Plotmon's voice stirs him out of dark thoughts, and he tilts his head as he studies the small cream-colored Digimon. "A Plotmon?" He glances over at Duke, one ear flattening for a moment at the shown familiarity. Oh, right -- Duke pays far more attention to the radio than he does. "Sorry. I don't pay attention to radio conversations most of the time. It's usually a distraction."
Tatsuto Satou     Plotmon leaps down from the little house, right into Tatsuto's arms. The boy doesn't even look, catching her seemingly purely by instinct. Or maybe by smell. "Hello! Plotmon's name is Plotmon! Tatsuto is Plotmon's human." She nods her head firmly.

Tatsuto laughs a bit. "Uh, yeah. I'm a Tamer. Plotmon's my partner," he says, conversationally, as they head further into the little village. They come across a small 'town square', with about a dozen Baby and Baby II stage Digimon clustered around. As well as three DigiTama, placed on what appear to be naturally-occuring pedastals. At least, they just seem tog row out of the ground, made from the same soft, padded material as the rest of the village.
Doran Doran has heard of Pokemon Trainers, like Lute and Alexis, but a Digimon Tamer? He almost rejects the concept as all sorts of WRONG... except for the fact that the Exiles use Alexis' place as a base half the time. Is there really that much of a difference with a Digimon paired up with a human and the friendship between Duke and Alexis, particularly?

Much to consider... later.

As they move into the town square, Doran wanders a little bit to get a better look around. He doesn't get too close to the Baby and Baby II Digimon, not wishing to spook them given that they're strangers and all, but he studies the Digitamas with particular interest. "Tatsuto, do you know if these eggs are new or... rebirths?"
Dukemon X Duke follows along and grins up at the Plotmon, "I think I'll just call you Cream." He says playfully with a smile still on his muzzle. His gold eyes then look over to Tatsuto. "I don't know... I think she has the leash on you, more than you have on her." His tone remaining in a fairly good mood, trying to not let that nagging feeling in the back of his head get the better of him.

If Duke had learned anything out in the Multiverse, it is that the people are resourceful and that resourcefulness tends to be what confuses many of the Digimon from their own world. Adaptation doesn't seem to be the Royal Knights strong suit; At least not yet.

The Guilmon X comes around the corner and his eyes stare out at the 'children' huddled around, including up at the DigiTama. His expression almost grows blank as he stares and there is a flicker of light around his eyes as his eye ridges then narrow gently. His lower jaw opens slightly before he suddenly looks away, forcing his eyes to close. The voices--- why now? What is it about this place?

Duke shakes his head a few times, before he tries to get his eyes to refocus and huffing a bit of smoke from his nostrils in forcing himself to shove away the living nightmares trying to plague his mind. "How..." His voice a bit weak as he speaks, "... How many do you have here in this village?"
Tatsuto Satou     "Thirteen. Six Baby stage, seven Baby II stage. Plus three who haven't hatched yet, so hopefully soon we'll be up to sixteen. Which is the most there's ever been at this Village since I became its Guardian six months ago..." Tatsuto answers, while absent-mindedly scritching Plotmon between her floppy ears.

"...She does act like she's the one in charge sometimes, yeah," he concedes, while Plotmon giggles. "Aaand... honestly? We can't tell if they're rebirths or new births. Sometimes they have memories left over from a previous life, but... We can't really be sure some rebirths don't just forget everything. And there's -no- way of telling when they're still eggs, besides."
Doran Doran nods in agreement with Tatsuto's answer. "True." His tiny bat-wings flick once, then he turns away from the eggs. "But the fact there's rebirths at all..." His voice trails off for a moment, then he shakes his head. "No, never mind." Let's not drag the conversation down with the unfortunate realities of Exiles. Not in this place, not at this time.

He presses his short forepaws on a soft cube, testing it, then bounces with practiced ease to perch on top of it. He circles once, then settles down with his chin hanging over the edge. It's just as comfortable as he remembers. "How did you become the Guardian of this Village, Tatsuto?" Golden eyes shift to Plotmon, the next question directed more to her. "And how did you two even pair up?"
Dukemon X Where Doran gets settled in, Duke seems to remain standing with his tail moving side to side in some mild agitation that perhaps the human will pick up on or even his Digimon. In truth, the only thing keeping Duke's problem at bay is the aura that comes from Tatsuto.

Those gold eyes scan the area, "So..." He says softly, "This is a rather small village, but... A nice village. I wonder how many others are like this one in this sector..."
Tatsuto Satou     "I... uh. My sister and I got pulled in here randomly when I was just messing about on my computer. We were here for about a week before we found the Primary Village. Then it came under attack by some... insane Digimon I didn't really recognise. The current Guardian, uh. Got reincarnated. Right in front of us."

He chews on his lip. "So I ended up being the oldest person in the village. Which made me the de-facto Guardian."

He obviously doesn't really like thinking about the events.

"..Well! This is Primary Village Seven. So one hopes at least six more?"
Dukemon X "Insane Digimon?" Duke asks with his eye ridges narrowing slightly. "What did this insane Digimon look like?"
Tatsuto Satou     Tatsuto frowns a bit. "It was kinda... fish-like? Plotmon beat it pretty easily so I guess it wasn't super powerful or anything." Pause. "Uh. It definitely wasn't one of the jerkputer's cronies or anything. I'm not sure we'd Unified back then."
Dukemon X "A dangerous Digimon is still a dangerous Digimon." Duke responds back with a shake of his head. "And we can help protect the village from dangerous Digimon if we know what those Digimon are." This is followed by a firm nod from the red child digimon. Though by his speech and those eyes say he is far from being a child level digimon.
Doran Doran's ears flatten apologetically. "Sorry. I didn't realize..." Now he feels bad, and makes a mental note to be a bit less cavalier when prying into another's past. It's not necessarily as bad as theirs, but it's not always good either.

Though being pulled into a computer... huh. Interesting.

His head turns to look at Duke, tail flicking, then back to Tatsuto. "Fish-like?" That could be any number of Digimon, especially if it was Child or Adult level at best. "Hmm. Possibly a wild Hangyomon if it was kinda humanoid... But most likely not Yggdrasil. He would've sent someone... stronger."

He casts a side glance back to Duke, then nods. "Yeah, it's the least we can do for letting us visit."
Tatsuto Satou     Tatsuto grins a bit. "Man, if people keep offering to help protect this place, I won't even need the Union's help," he says, a bit flippantly. "...C'mon. Let's get something to eat. I'm starving."
Dukemon X Duke hears the word 'eat' and those ear fins perk up, those gold eyes go from being serious to wide and then his tail wags like a dog's. No matter how old his actual DigiCore is, there is one word that will always get a Guilmon to be a Guilmon-- X or not. "Food!"

"Oh man! What kind of food is it? Hot, Cold, sweet? Maybe a bit sour!" Duke says with a giddy tone, "I love food!"
Doran Ah, a lightened tone. That makes Doran feel a bit better. He snickers at Duke's enthusiasm as he shrugs his shoulders a bit. "Sometimes I wonder what's more in control, Duke -- your DigiCore or your stomach." This is said with the playful teasing of old friends. He uncoils from his soft perch and hops down, bouncing a bit on landing before rejoining the others. "Sure, let's eat."
