Taylor Scott The sun was on the rise and the heat was slowly starting to build up over the open desert landscape. One tall thirty two foot machine stood before this bleak landscape of a battlefield and the white armor, with some of the gray to black was not hard to miss. Inside of the Armored Core sat Taylor Scott fully in his pilot suit from head to toe.

His gaze was slightly over on the temperature reading of not only external heat, but internal generator heat. It would all come down to how well the radiator could keep up with this fight and how brutal his opponent would make that radiator work to keep the generator cool. Taylor knew this was a risky place to do a fight, but he had to know how well his machines were going to handle under all circumstances thrown at them; This was no exception.

The Ref waited for Beelzebumon to show, much as Taylor Scott was, the young man didn't know anything about his opponent, beyond some people said he was a troll, others called him a demon, and something about him being tougher than he probably looks; Though this seems to be a common trait among many of the populace of the Multiverse.
Beelzebumon      Soon enough, the sight of a dust cloud approaching can be seen, at the head of which is an 8 foot tall, leather-clad biker with three eyes, riding atop a souped up motorcycle. Upon his face is an eager, almost wicked grin, and his eyes glint with barely contained excitement. The day has finally arrived for his first fight in the tournament!

At the sight of the towering mecha in the distance, Beelzebumon's eyes practically light up with delight! How long has it been since he fought a towering behemoth... not since his days during the war, when he faced off against the massive dragon Examon, easily the largest of Yggdrasil's Knights.

As he finally enters the battlefield, he slows to a stop so that the officials can get ready to drop the flag signalling the start of the match, yet even as he waits, he revs the engines of Behemoth, eager to tear off the moment the bell rings.
Taylor Scott Taylor tilts his head in the cockpit as he notices the Biker and zooms in on the strange being. "So... That is Beelzebumon." He says to himself before a chuckle. "Man, the people of the Multiverse vary in look from look."

"Probably even in talent as well." He then opens out the exterior speakers. >>"Looking forward to the match, Beelzebumon. Heard your pretty tough and if you're anything like Sagat, then I already know I don't have to hold back as much."<<

The ref quickly moves out of the way to take cover as he gets ready to flip the switch.

>>"So,"<< The Armored Core slides its foot back as the thrusters hiss to life, smoke plums out of them as the whine up to get ready to burst for speed, >>"Let's give them a show to remember."<< As soon as the ref sends the signal to GO, Gabriel's thrusters flare to life and the Armored Core charges forward at rapid acceleration. With a quick burst of speed to the side, it skids around on its heels before dragging its other foot around to see about dislodging that Bike from the ground and up into the air.
Beelzebumon      "Music to my ears," The demon lord replies with, as he pulls out one of his Berenjena shotguns from its holster with one hand, while revving Behemoth's throttle with the other.

The instant the signal is given, he pulls his hand off the brakes and launches forward, hurtling directly towards the charging Armored Core.

With surprising agility though, just as Taylor swings his machine around to give Beelz a five ton boot to the head, the hellish rider and his machine swerve wide and accelerate, darting right between the war machine's legs as the foot tears through the ground mere meters behind him. Then as he speeds off, he twists around and takes aim with his prized weapon, before unleashing a blast of demonically infused slugs at the back of Gabriel's knee joint.
Taylor Scott Dust kicks up in the air as the two speed by one another, for as Beelzebumon rises up his prized weapon, the behemoth of a machine is still turning around to come and face him. The shots ring the air, but the device on the left hand fires up and like slow motion that the hot bluish white blade extends to life with plasma fury. Gabriel swings its arm and the energy blade moves with the swing and as it hits the arch, the energy can be seen ripping outward from the very Moonlight.

The blade wave takes the brunt of the bullets seeming to engulf by the wave, but a few get past nicking the armor over the joint. As the blade wave continues to travel right for Beelzebumon, it tears up the land and explodes on contact with the rocks or anything in its wake...
Beelzebumon      The energy wave lashes out, tearing through the earth as Beelzebumon goes into a wide drifting turn to get out of it's path, yet the heat from the near miss seers at his face and arm closest to the wave, causing him to let go of Behemoth's handlebar as he frantically waves his hand in the air to cool it off.

With any other bike, Beelzebumon would have wiped out doing that, but Behemoth gives no fucks because it can drive itself.

"Yeouch! Got a bit toasty there!"

As he settles his hand back upon the handlebar, he glances back and grins, "Gotta admit, its pretty impressive how well that thing moves despite being so big. And here I thought I was gonna be fighting a walking glacier. Bring us around for another pass!"

Perhaps feeling the need to show that it's better than some hundred ton hunk of junk, Behemoth is all too eager to comply and swings around, before making a beeline back towards Gabriel. Beelz meanwhile draws his second shotgun out from it's holster, and snaps off a quick one-two barrage with both guns, once again aiming for the same knee he tried to shoot before. Part of some larger strategy perhaps?
Taylor Scott >>"And this a Medium class!"<< Taylor says with a chuckle, as he goes to pull the Armored Core in a sharp reverse as he spots Beelzebumon on the move once more to charge in. The bullets nail the knee as the Armored Core is on the move. Each bullet chipping off at the armor protection and one of the clipped the edge of joint behind the armor plate, but it doesn't slow the Armored Core down.

The Machine spins around before shoving off with the foot to actually leap into the air. The thrusters help give it a bit more air time as the missile bay comes to life over on the shoulder. "Computer, time missile detonation before impact. He may be tough, but I don't know /how/ tough."

:: "Understood, calculating distance with the lock on." ::

As soon as Taylor gets a confirmed lock with from recital flickering red with the numeral 3 lights up, he flips the cap off the joystick and pressed down on the red button. Three missile fire out from the missile bay and soar right down for the Digimon below. Each of them detonating before impact, carrying a plume of fire and explosive shockwave over to where the rider's location is as the Armored Core lands down. It was already shifting its weight to skid to the side and skate around, trying to stay on the move encase that didn't work out.
Beelzebumon      Weeeeeeeell shit. That ain't good.

Fast as Behemoth is, it's a little hard to avoid a barrage of missiles raining down on it from above, and rider and machine disappear into the confragration as the missiles detonate all around, before moments later, Behemoth comes careening out of the explosions flipping head over heels.

And yet Beelzebumon is nowhere to be seen.

A moment later however, a badly seared Demon Lord /lands/ directly onto the face of Gabriel, staring directly into the mono-eye camera of it's head, and boy, does he look unhappy with being exploded.

     "That hurt."

And then he draws back his claws and sends his arm spearing right into the glowing 'eye' of the machine, hoping to blind it.
Taylor Scott Taylor watches as the FCS tracking picks up something, but he realizes what that something is up as Beelzebumon gets right on the edge of the head unit to stare it down in the mono-optical lens, a few other smaller lens flicker around the edge of it.

As the Demon goes to scratch up the surface of the lens, he does start to scuff up the protective surface, "Computer, start to make adjustments."

:: "Attempting to adjust for optical distortion. This could take a few seconds to bring the vision back to optimum quality." ::

"Just get it close as you can, quickly as you can." Taylor says as he goes to direct the Armored Core on what to do next. Which becomes rather obvious as Gabriel not only drifts hard, but the left hand comes up to snatch Beelzebumon before tossing him off to the side. >>"Sorry, no free rides!"<<
Beelzebumon      Several more punches follow as Beelzebumon tries to pound his way through that protective lens so he can start tearing out the juicey bits, but that material is Tonka Tough and resists his efforts, "God! Damn! It! Break! Already!"
His punching is interupted as he is snatched up by the massive hand and tosses like a piece of garbage into one of those funny rock formations scattering the landscape, which crumbles as he hits.

As he pulls himself out of the rubble, the Demon Lord scowls, then puts his fingers in his lips and blows a sharp whistle, before leaping into the air. Behemoth, by now having recovered from its spill, comes leaping off a sand dune just in time for Beelz to pull himself into the seat mid-leap before tearing off in a wide circle around Gabriel.

As he circles wide, the Demon Lord twists around to pull something out of the back compartment of Behemoth... specifically a very long chain and hook, which, in true Biker fashion, is also covered in unnessessary jagged spikes. With his new weapon in tow, Beelzebumon angles back towards the massive AC as he whips the chain around above his head, before hurtling it towards one of Gabriel's legs, where it wraps around and becomes entangled.

Then he suddenly veers away, gunning the engine as he reaches the end of his chain and /yanks/ hard in an effort to unbalance the warmachine.

     How is this even possible?
Taylor Scott Taylor watches as the bike moves on its own as Beelzebumon whistles for it. "That is interesting..." A piece of information he stores for later to maybe ask the Demon how that even works, but for now his head gets back into the match as he watches the crazed Biker head straight for him again!

Gabriel goes to veer hard as the Beelzebumon goes to swing the chain around to hook, which it successfully does, and with impressive strength, actually does manage to off balance the Armored Core. The humanoid machine goes to fall over and Taylor acts quick on the controls, as the thrusters pop and it moves its left hand around to catch itself.

>>"That--"<< He says to Beelzebumon as the Armored Core twists its waist around, >>"-- Was not smart."<< Like a breakdancer, the Armored Core goes to flip itself back up on its feet and if Beelzebumon isn't quick to let go, he'll find that the leg the Chain has snagged into and tearing at the exterior armor, goes to kick it around to perhaps yank the rider right off his living motorcycle.
Beelzebumon      "HA! The bigger they are, the hard they f--"

That's about as far as Beelzebumon gets before the Armored Core unexpected and surprisingly kickflips back onto its feet, yanking Beelzebumon high off Behemoth and into the air, where he does a full-body faceplant right into the chest of Gabriel, before almost cartoonishly pitching backwards and falling off with a thud.

And as he lays there in the dirt, he takes a moment to spit out a broken tooth, before adding after the fact, "Ow."

Still, he is holding onto the chain, which is still wrapped around the leg of the AC, and that gives him an idea.

After flipping back to his feet, Beelzebumon secures the chain around his waist, then leaps up onto a rocky formation and launches himself like a Pole Vaulter over Gab's shoulder.

As he leaps over, the chain goes taut, and hooks over Gabriel's shoulder, acting as a makeshift rope as Beelzebumon lands feet first against the AC's back, much like a repeller would make his way down a cliff.

And as he lowers himself, he finds a partocularly juicey looking spot and rubs his hands together, before pulling back both arms as his claws begin to glow, "Darkness... CLAW!"

And then he plunges his arms forward, aiming to pierce the armor and begin gouging his way towards the delicate machinery beneath.
Taylor Scott Taylor can't do much about Beelzebumon treating his Armored Core like a rock climber and with the Demon is getting behind his machine, he can't reach back there either. It's true! It's a weak point in the Armored Core to have nothing back there to defend itself with! "Don't make me do this..." Taylor grumbles under his breath as he can hear Beelzebumon behind him even inside the cockpit.

He can hear those boots and he can hear the impact as the Demon goes to tear at the backplate armor. "You are going to make me do this." Taylor then slides his foot to the side, even as his computer speaks up while he ignores the warnings about a possible preach to the protective armor to 'something'.

:: "Mister Scott, you requested me to remind you when an action could be fatal to an opponent..." ::

"This guy has survived missile bursts, A face full of dirt, and is now ripping into the back panel." Taylor then stomps his foot down. "I am sure he can handle /THIS/!" What 'this' was, becomes very clear to even Beelzebumon from where he is.

The area that his boots and body are at suddenly hums loudly, before that armor actually splits open, if that force was not enough to knock him away there was a brilliant glow from several, much larger thrusters that suddenly flare to life with hot white ignition fire, which if Beelzebumon isn't careful he and his chain will get a full body inferno. As it was Taylor's hope to not only get Beelzebumon off, but to break the chain, and get some distance between them, as this was the Overboost thrustrs and the Armored Core? It was moving at almost mach speeds across the terrain, before spinning itself back around with a 180 sharp dime turn as the thrusters turned off.
Beelzebumon      HAHAHA! TAKE THAT YOU PIECE OF J-- wait... why is all the armor splitting? Beelz is certain he didn't do THAT much damage to the machine to cause it to start coming apart at the seems.

     Wait, are those engines?

     OH GOD! D8

Reacting with utter desperation, Beelzebumon quickly turns his own claws onto the chain strapping him to Gabriel and severs them with one quick swipe, then grabs onto the back of the AC and coils up like a spring, before /flinging/ himself away as hard as he can to get to safety as the thrusters flare to life. barely, just barely, he manages to clear the flames, but the backwash from the engines sends him careening through the sky like a potato launched out of a spud cannon.

     "OHSHITOHSHITOHSHITOHSHIT!!"

And then mere seconds before Beelzebumon becomes a skidmark across the desert, behemot launches up into the sky and catches him, before landing with a long skid.

"... I'm alive? I'M ALIVE! OH BEHEMOTH I LOVE YOU!"

After taking a moment to give Behemoth a gigantic hug and a kiss on the headlight, Beelzebumon settles into the seat properly and cracks his neck, before resummoning his Berenjenas to his side and brandishing them with a florish.

"Back to plan A, buddy! Lets go break some kneecaps!"

Then with an eager growl, the daemonic bike tears forward, whilst Beelzebumon cackles with glee and unleashes a steady barrage of bullets at the knee of Gabriel.
Taylor Scott Taylor watches on his screen as Beelzebumon apparently does get he message that being on the back of an Armored Core is /not/ a wise idea and lets out a sigh of relief when the strange being is /actually/ alright. He actually slumps in his seat for that moment to catch his breath, "This place is crazy..." However, it seems Beelzebumon is far from over and Taylor gets back on the controls againt to go meet the Demon dead on.

>>"Glad to see that didn't kill you!"<< Taylor voices out. >>"Though I am starting to get the feeling that giant robots are not something to be feared around here! Which is fine by me, because it means I can start to actually get /serious/!"<< Gabriel roares right for Beelzebumon, as the Digimon comes for him.

The two grenades come to swing down onto of the shoulders, "Computer, just with like Sagat, start to make adjustments."

:: "Calculating..." ::

Gabriel goes to pull hard and up as Beelzebumon unleashes his own shots. With a glow from the Grenade Launchers, comes a thunder roaring as both grenades are fired from the massive shoulder cannons, but at he same time Beelzebumon hits the Armored Core's knee right on the mark.

Taylor can only see the red warning flare up on the display as the computer acknowledges the problem, and he realizes how bad this can actually be when he lands back down, "Ah hell..." While the grenades head right for Beelzebumon to explode to wash over the Digimon with a heavy shockwave to even rip up the terrain, the Armored Core adds in the land's own devastation. As soon as the leg goes to touch down, the knee unit shreds apart, gears snap, wires breaks, and lines give a way.

The lower part of the leg dislodges itself from the upper part of the leg and the Armored Core goes slamming down into the ground, sliding across the desert terrain and Taylor is jarred within the cockpit, but is the fight over? Far from it, the Armored Core can actually be seen lifting itself up, Taylor ignoring the blaring of the alarms as the radiator is reading into the yellow.

:: "Attempting to compensate and repair." :: The computer announces. :: "Stability at critical. Adjustment may be impossible." ::

The Armored Core reaches for the machine gun and rests its arm on the sand, with the machine gun aimed down the desert sand, waiting for Beelzebumon to show himself. "Just keep doing what you do with those systems. Convert Overboost power to radiator, get things cooled back down."

:: "Acknowledged." ::
Beelzebumon      As the leg tears itself free at the knee from the damage sustained, Beelzebumon's face lights up with absolute delight, but that glee is sadly short lived as he looks up, to see a pair of large grenades hurtling towards his position. The smile on his face simply melts away and his arms slump down slightly as he watches helplessly as they head right for him, and just before impact, he says two simple words.

     "Aw crap."

The explosion rips through the desert with concusive force, toppling the strange rock formations that dot the landscape and flattening sand dunes.

When the dust finally settles, Behemoth can be seen half buried in the sand with its rear wheel sticking up in the air, uselessly spinning as the bike tries to dig itself free without much success... but where is Beelzebumon?

     "....aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

     *THUD*

     Oh, there he is.

As Beelzebumon lays there on his back after being catapulted a mile into the air by explosions, he lets out a groan, then raises one hand to the sky and says, "You do realize... this means war."

Then with ovbious effort, Beelzebumon drags himself to his feet and wobbles slightly, before straightening out with the sound of popping bones.

Then suddenly, he leaps, bounding across the landscape towards the ruined remains of Gabriel's lower leg, wich he latches onto and /hoists/ up, weilding it like an impossibly huge club as he staggers forward, winds up...

     "BREAK A LEG!"

     And then /SWINGS!/
Taylor Scott Taylor spots Beelzebumon and furrows his brows. "This guy is insane, like, haha, I can't believe what I'm seeing." This just stays true when the Demon picks up the leg and Taylor tries to use the thrusters to slide the Armored Core /away/ from the leg as it is hurled at him. Only for the leg to come colliding in and taking out the head unit. Now, in the Gundam Fights, there is probably a rule that once the head is removed the fight is over, but even as wires crackles and more alarms blare inside, one must remember--- This is not Gundam.

This is Armored Core.

Where it seems like the machine gun was going to open fire, instead Taylor used the FCS's beeping to indicate where the target was and soon as he heard the sound queues, he pushed that red button once more. The Missile launcher on the side pops open and missiles fly out from the bays, all heading right for Beelzebumon and possibly exploding around and near by him.

"I need that radar up on the main screen, give me what power you can without allowing the Radiator to go red."

:: "Understood and configuring." ::

"Keep showing me what you got, buddy... Let me see just what this Multiverse can take." Taylor says to himself watching the radar with the map in order to get a feel for where Beelzebumon may be and how much room he has to play.
Beelzebumon      The missiles streak in, and Beelzebumon to his credit reacts with surprising swiftness in response as he summons his Berenjenas to his side once more and opens fire, blowing one of the munitions out of the sky. Unfortunately, he doesn't have enough time to blast the other three missiles as they streak in towards him, and a pair of thunderous explosions wash over the landscape where he stood.

... Wait a second. Two explosions? But weren't there three missiles?

That's right! The more observant people would realize that the third missile didn't explode, though what happened to it after it disappeared into that cloud of fire and smoke is unknown.

     For a few seconds anyway.

And then from out of the smoke and the dust, the missile remerges, with Beelzebumon actually /STANDING/ atop it as he shifts his weight to force the missile to turn back towards the wounded Armored Core... and then just before impact, he leaps away to safety and allows the rocket to detonate beneath him.
Taylor Scott When Beelzebumon changes the coarse of the rocket, the computer throws up an alert and Taylor glances over to see it. "Can we activate flares?"

:: "Flares are jammed." ::

Taylor tsks softly, "Peachy." He then pulls on the controls and tries to get the Armored Core to do something in order to defend itself from its own missile that is out of the systems control. As the missile comes in, the Armored Core simple places out the left arm in front of the chest unit to protect it, unknown where the missile may impact.

It was perhaps a lucky guest as the missile explodes by the best the computer ca determine and the explosive force washes over the left arm, along with the sides of the Armored Core, heating up the metal. Taylor then looks at the radar, to the map, and then directs the machine gun, >>"I'm going to guess you are not the surrendering type!"<< The index finger of the Armored Core pulls down on the trigger from where it lays, >>"Neither am I!"<< Then Gabriel opens fire, spraying bullets across the area at best guess where Beelzebumon is.
Beelzebumon      Ya know, normally machine guns wouldn't be a huge deal. Machine guns Beelzebumon can cope with.

Machine guns that fire bullets the size of trash cans though? Those are a little harder to deal with.

Unfortunately, Beelzebumon is one of those Digimon who aren't flight capable, so no sooner thgan he touches down than his position is raked with those trashcan sized bullets.

Surprisingly though, eating a bullet of that calibur to the face isn't instantly fatal to a Digimon of Beelz' level, but ooooooh boy, does it ever do a number on him as the blow sends him careening down the back of a sand dune, and as he tumbles, data bleeds off his form until he comes to a stop at the bottom in the form of his Child level, Impmon.

     "... Ow..."
