Eve     Eve's old dress was, perhaps unsurprisingly, pretty damaged by being shot. It might have been recoverable but it's unlikely anyone's going to blame her for not wanting to wear it again. It's little more than a reminder of her former state... as would be anything else recovered from her former home. Better to make a break with the past, to start anew with a different sort of wardrobe. Or at least a different wardrobe even if it's still the same sort of style. She doesn't dislike such clothes after all. Who dislikes actually being cute?

For now she's wearing something vaguely uniformy. A blue skirt, white blouse, blue vest, and the sort of stockings worn by girls rather than by mistresses. A cute look, even if it's nothing exceptionally special. It beats going around in a black dress that has a bullet hole in the belly!
Zephyr Windstar     Zephyr's here. In a pretty 'normal' outfit, for her at least. THe Mage has come out in her TSAB uniform, the camouflage fatigues looking bulky and heavy on the otherwise slender girl. She last saw Eve being led away by the Union psyche team, so it's with a smile that she approaches the girl now, lifting a hand in greeting. "Yo!"
Eve     Eve, alerted to the whole idea of fashion - or at least clothing - eyes Zephyr warily. Part of that is an assessment of her fashion, which no doubt is not quite what Eve had in mind. The rest is a certain awe. Eve has fought before, but the kind of power Zephyr showed off in Rudman's manor was nothing short of awesome, especially to a young girl with aspirations to help and protect others.

She does smile though. Just a tiny smile, barely visible. "Hello Zephyr." she greets politely. "I'm... not sure what we're supposed to do?" she asks, curious about the whole idea of this 'shopping for clothes' thing. It sounds like something she might want to learn to do.
Zephyr Windstar     Zephyr grins that lopsided grin of hers, and she shrugs. "I dunno too much either. Just figured I'd come help keep ya company while we figure it out." she offers. "I go for stuff that's easy to move in mostly, but I think I know a couple places in here." she points at the giant sprawling Mall that can be seen from pretty much anywhere in the giant city. "Bit of a walk, but we've got some options."
Eve     It's a bit uncomfortable, not knowing what to do, and Eve's beginning to flinch from the reaction she usually gets when admitting she has never learned a particular thing. For now though, she doesn't seem to have much choice in it. "Hmmm. I could see that being useful, but ..." she shrugs. "Is that the only reason to choose things? I think, if I'm going to choose, I might want something that looks nice too? And is comfortable?"
