Tatsuto Satou     The 'semi-permanent DigiPort' Tatsuto mentioned is connected to a computer stored in a somewhat secure area of the computer lab - at least, Eve has to show her ID to get in. The computer looks perfectly normal, although there are a few warnings posted on the walls around it - no bare electronics should be taken through the portal and stuff like that.

Pressing 'Enter' on the computer causes a holographic display to be projected from the screen of the monitor - which explains why the monitor is facing the wrong way - to show a pastel-coloured image of a cute little village made apparently of oversized building blocks.

The portal lets out just outside the white picket fence surrounding the Primary Village. Tatsuto is right there, on a folding chair, reading something on a tablet computer. Beside him is Plotmon, looking adorable as ever.
Eve     Eve makes her way to the computer lab and through security. This gives her a bit of a hassle, since she's not a fully-trusted member of the Union and her security clearance is rather low. Still she WAS invited, and that counts more than her nominal status. Besides, what harm can a 12 year old girl possibly do right?

The whole idea of entering a computer world, while not completely foreign to Eve, is nonetheless unique enough to her experience that she takes considerable time to simply observe and experience the world she enters. Probably she doesn't even notice Tatsuto or Plotmon, or if she does she's still taking in the surroundings and doesn't directly acknowledge them at first.
Tatsuto Satou     The world is vibrantly colourful, like a cartoon of a picture book. The sky has a sort of low-resolution quality to it... Which is rather weird to be honest. The clouds float across the sky like normal clouds do, however, and the wind on Eve's face certainly feels real as well...

Tatsuto looks up from that tablet. "..Oh! Uh, you're Eve, right?" He stands up. "Um. I'm Tatsuto. ... Obviously. Welcome to Primary Village Seven, I guess...?"
Eve     The little blonde girl doesn't jump or anything when she's addressed, so likely she was aware of Tatsuto already. When spoken to however, her eyes track down from the skies to look at him. It's an unhurried act borne of curiosity, not of any sort of shame for not acknowledging him sooner.

She smiles, though the smile is tiny and not entirely easy to spot. It's just a twitch of cheek muscles. "Hello Tatsuto." she says softly, her voice familiar enough to identify her. "Thank you for inviting me. And ... is this Plotmon?" she asks, looking at the little dogbunnylike thing, her eyes widening slightly.
Tatsuto Satou     Plotmon looks up from her dozing to focus on Eve. Then she gives a little 'waff!' and jumps to her feet. "Hello!" she calls in a sing-song voice, tail wagging like mad as she darts over to Eve and circles around her, jumping playfully at her before darting to the side before she connected and so forth.

Tatsuto laughs a bit. "Yep, that's Plotmon. Seems she likes you~"
Eve     Eve's not entirely sure what to make of Plotmon, having not had a whole lot of experience with animals in general and sentient animals in particular. She is, however, a young girl. Her tiny smile widens a bit, and Eve bends down, navigating her skirts in such a way as to unselfconsciously maintain both mobility and decency. "Hello Plotmon." she says gently, holding out her open hand, not entirely sure what to do but figuring that's safe enough at least. "Is she a baby digimon?" Eve asks uncertainly. She was invited to see the babies. Not that she minds Plotmon if Plotmon isn't a baby, but... well, she's curious. This is probably a recurring theme in fact.
Tatsuto Satou     "Plotmon's technically a Child level... uh, the babies don't come outside the Village. I don't even have to forbid them, they just... don't." Tatsuto shrugs, and opens the white picket gate! "C'mon in. We've got snacks and stuff."

Plotmon sniffs at Eve's hand, then gives a little 'bite' - not actually coming into contact with Eve at all - before darting away through the gate. "Chase me chase me!"
Eve     Eve's quick to pull fingers out of reach when Plotmon snaps, but quickly realizes the little digimon isn't actually trying to bite. It seems to be a game, one whose rules Eve doesn't know yet. Interesting.

She straightens in a single motion, following Tatsuto. Not, it should be noted, following Plotmon. Well, not directly at least. "I don't like playing tag." she confides to the teen in a careful, quiet voice, her face held relatively expressionless. If he knew what tag means to Eve, he'd probably understand... or pity her perhaps. Tag is the game of the oni after all, and it was how her grandfather taught her to kill. Oni kill when they catch a human in the game of tag... and according to Rudman, Eve was an oni. She's human now though, or so she's been told. She doesn't have to play tag, and if she does she doesn't have to kill.
Tatsuto Satou     "Hm? Oh, that's too bad," Tatsuto answers, with a slight shrug. He apparently doesn't need to hear the reason. "Well, honestly, Plotmon will play anything. She's that kinda person." He grins a bit. "Anyway, you're here to meet the babies, right?"

As they walk into the village, the ground becomes much softer, with more give and a smoother texture... even though it still looks like dirt and grass. Touching any of the buildings - which, now that Eve is right up next to them, are obviously more like playhouses than anything else - will reveal they're made of the same soft, padded material. The sides of the blocks making up the buildings have Arabic numerals, Roman letters, Chinese characters, and... other squigles that Eve will be unable to identify. Huh. A couple of blocks also, instead of just having one character, have reams of binary code written on them instead.

As they reach the 'town square', they'll see a number of posts dotted around, with little indentations at the top designed to hold... eggs, obviously, as three of them are already holding them. Brightly coloured, each with totally different patterns. Milling about, or dozing, or eating, are a number of... blobs. With faces. And a few other features. There's a pink one that looks like a radish with a flower, a tiny red one with sharp teeth, a pink one with LEGS (and ridiculously oversized and overabundant teeth when it yawns)... Every Digimon is different, it seems!
Eve     Eve's here to do more than just meet babies, but she nods anyways, not feeling the urge to agree aloud. Of course she doesn't mean to disappoint the puppymon, but doesn't really think it'd be fun for anyone for her to join in a game that brings such miserable memories to her. It's good that Plotmon has other games; she'll be sure to play whatever she can, and not just to make it up to the odd cute thing.

Eve is of course fascinated by the digital world. She doesn't really have the background to appreciate the idea of a world built from literal digital data, but it's obvious to her that this village is unusual. Or this world is, at least.

Eve seems puzzled by all the egg holders, coming up to one and examining it. Seems like an odd way to hold eggs. She recalls something about chickens, and decides things must clearly be different here. This is equally obvious when she sees all the little blobs with all the little teeth. Considering what Tatsuto had said earlier, she glances down at her hand. Armor. Armor is fairly easy to do, since she's quite familiar with her skin in every detail. It takes little time or effort for her hand to turn silvery. When it's done she works her fingers, feeling the slight stiffness as the nanomachine coating makes it a bit difficult to flex and bend. That will of course ease with practice, but for now it's an odd distraction. "You did say some were made of knives." she reminds Tatsuto. And guns. "Should I need to do this? Or ... well..." she doesn't explain, looking a bit helpless. Getting across her feelings and intentions, at least with words, is a bit difficult for her yet.
Tatsuto Satou     Plotmon seems to have gotten bored of running away - as suddenly she's leaping from atop a building and onto Tatsuto's head. The teenaged boy doesn't react in the slightest - he's too busy staring as Eve's hand.... changes.

"...How did..." he starts to say, and then stops himself. "That's... armour? Uh, no... Oh! You saw Tokomon, huh?" And soon, Tatsuto's picking up the small, pink, stubby-legged little digimon. "Don't worry. Tokomon doesn't bite~" he says, tickling the creature under the chin.

"He's gonna grow up to be a Holy Digimon, after all. He can't go around biting people." Tatsuto's smiling pretty brightly here. Seems he loves these digis - and they love him, given one of them - a little ball of black fluff - seems to have wandered over just to affectionately nuzzle at his leg. "Baby and Baby II Digimon generally aren't dangerous, even to humans. Unless you do something to agitate them - some of them can spit acid and stuff. But... Only in self defense, you know?"
Eve     At Tatsuto's explanation, Eve lets her skin lapse from silver. As she wriggles fingers now, she's quite visibly more nimble and flexible. It's good to know she won't need the armor, at least not here. She'll still have to practice it. A shield is nice, but sometimes you need the subtlety of a layer of metal dermal armor as proper protection.

"Living metal." Eve explains. She knows a bit about her nature, about nanomachines. Not enough to scientifically explain it, but enough for laymen. "That is my power." she concludes softly. It IS a power, even if science is the ultimate explanation and not magic. And it's a good way to describe it so others understand, even people without the experience to know what nanomachines are.

She watches the baby pokemon, still staying somewhat aloof. Not because she's trying to stay distant but because she has no clue how to behave in this odd case. "I'll be careful not to agitate them." she promises. And part of that, it seems, involves remaining rather still.
Tatsuto Satou     "...That is so cool..." Tatsuto whispers... before flushing a bit and stooping down to pet the Digimon nuzzling his leg. "Uh.... A-anyway. Um. So you don't like tag... I guess we could go find a ball, or..." He mmhs a bit. "Man I am not used to entertaining guests, heh. At least, ones who aren't Digimon. I seem to get along with Digimon pretty easily, y'know? Humans are a bit harder."
Eve     Eve also flushes slightly. She acknowledges that she's different from ordinary humans, and accepts that using her ability will make that difference obvious, but she's not entirely comfortable making herself stand out. Not, that is, when it's not a matter of life or death.

Eve nods, and once again folds herself gracefully downwards, knees not quite touching the ground as she balances on her toes. She holds out a hand once again, seeing if any of the digimon wish to take an interest. "That would be fine." she agrees. "Though I don't really know any games either. The only game I was taught to play was tag." she says neutrally. And of course that's the game she doesn't like.
