Kotone Yamakawa Microtech Solace that was the name of the company that Miho worked for and it seemed the flow of the group had wanted to look into them. While the majority of the holdings were on a ship in international waters? They had warehouse and other holdings in both Japan, the American Empire and The Amer Russio Alliance member nation of Canada. Given they can't get to the ship right now or know just where it is one of their major warehouses would be a place to snoop about, The place is high tech oddly most of the security is automated from the looks of things. Them using androids and other drones the company has produced with only a few live personnel watching the place. Kotone is keeping out of range of the scanning systems for the moment. She's got an idea of how far it is but she knows trying to crack this even with Zwei's upgrades to her barriers would be a dangerous idea she's got a lot to learn as a hacker still.

"All right we're trying to keep this quiet and non lethal we don't want a trail of killings which will one make things more complicated and two I don't want to do what was done to me cause I got in someone's way and had no idea what was going on."

The warehouses are high tech there's camera, drones, the rare live guard whose likely heavily cyberized but that does open windows for hacker sorts none the less there are after all less secure systems they can go after after all.

Rory would also have some new information about the nature of the coms she had even if she's having issues cracking it to share shortly.
Corona Arclite The first time Corona came just to help a friend out. But after seeing what had happened to Kotone's sister, this was a little more personal. That, and she was curious what had actually gone on.

As many a greedy land baron has found out, a curious fox is almost as bad as a curious cat. Maybe even more trouble, since a fox isn't going to go out of their way to screw with you like a cat will.

"Rawht. Keep things down lower than a snake's belly." Corona tugged the brim of her hat down over her face a little more. It went rather well with the duster she wore again to better blend in. Not to mention this time she had weapons with a little less absurd looking to the world, as she's got the SMG she picked up last time, and the rod-shaped weapon she'd kept from the adventures on the Grid as well.
Rory White     Not knowing where the ship is? That's a problem Rory's devoting plenty of effort into solving. While the Cognizant Odyssey is under the oversight of a Beta Fork, maintaining contact with Rory 'prime' planetside and holding geosynchronous orbit over the city, a handful of observation Satellites have been released into geosynchronous orbits over the major oceans and numerous AIs are hard at work gathering data on shipping lanes, trade routes, ship registries, and surface scans to pin down anything out of place or unusual.

"No need to tell me that, Kotone." Rory states. She's wearing her armor, but wielding her foam sprayer. As usual, a Saucer's mounted to the back of her armor for extra eyes and ears.

Her Wireless is in passive mode, sniffing for any unusual network traffic from the warehouse without broadcasting anything. But when her Beta Fork pings her with a rather disturbing bit of news...

"What? That can't be right. My Kaos AI's almost certain the encryption these people are using is one of the Planetary Consortium's proprietary methods. No luck on brute-forcing the key without a Quantum Computer, probably... why would this style be showing up here? Nothing else I'm finding from analyzing worldly traffic is using these methods!"
Staren     "Right. But if they're into illegal shit /this/ bad? I bet they'll be willing to kill anyone who snoops too close. So I'm ready for a fight." Staren's still in his robot body. Outwardly, it looks like any other human synth with synthetic skin, but deep scans would reveal it's not any model from this world. The cyberbrain is from Rory's world. The body... A mix of technology from Staren's homeworld and others.

Staren looks at Rory. "Wait, what? They're using Planetary Consortium tech? What the hell is go--" Staren blinks. "Ghost dubbing. The technology from your world can do it far better than Kotone's, right? Are they..." Staren holds his fingers to his forehead. "There's no way this /isn't/ going somewhere horrible..."
Starbound Flotilla     "I can promise... Uh, well, I can't promise any of that, but I'll keep it to a minimum, I guess." George mutters, chuckling as he prepares. He's out of his armor for this operation, back into the worker's jumpsuit. He'll blend in to most corporate workforces. "I mean, like..." He counts on his fingers. It involves multiple passes on both hands. "...Like 100% of the times I've done this business, someone ends up with at least a broken arm or somethin'. But, hey, I'll keep it to a minimum." He chuckles, and secures his gloves.

His loadout is pretty basic infiltration gear for his job. Electromagnetic signatures are forged on his IDs, his jumpsuit is chameleonized to match local labor, his gloves crackle and hum with stunning electricity, his camera detector is active in a pocket, ready to alert him to inopportune camera spotting. A stun baton in his Matter Manipulator, a silenced pistol in a concealed holster, and some engineering gear for hardware-cracking... And an electromagnetic card for when things get too hot to handle, machinewise, and he's good to go.

"I'mma hit the shipping and receiving. Yamakawatron said she found something weird in the shipments, and that's what took her out. Means that whatever they got messing with her, it goes through somewhere like that." And then he gets to work. First, an examination of the perimeters, checking out what's around the area. He needs to see what security obstacles are between him and shipping areas. If the others can get him some scouting, that'll be especially good.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa pause at Rory's news and stare at her. Kotone looks to George really hard. "Fair enough I don't want murder. Cyber criminal divisions are /brutal/ against augmented suspects if they have to be. They likely class elites as the same."

She's seems serious then again she's had contact with Section 9 and has an idea of the grade of the hardware and their union affiliation. She doesn't seem mad but she gets the idea someone getting hurt vs someone getting killed is a different thing in something like this. She arms her optic cameo and gets ready to get moving moving. She shifts to Cybercomms at this point.

<<I don't like where this is going either. Corona, Staren, Ghost Dubbing has been banned because the ethical complications in perfecting it are so high, nations normally at each other's throats agree it's not worth it. So your saying someone has access to hardware from your world or even personnel then, Rory...there's some ideas front hat and I don't like where they go.>>

George is going to head to shipping to check things out he he would fin that there's some drones about of various sorts mostly non humanoid one both lifter units and security they don't seem big on live personnel then again? They are showing their stuff is good enough for them to use. A poor company doesn't use it's own products after all. He would see there's the typical cameras and hovering drones. There's no obvious stuff /just/ yet here but who knows what could be lurking with this world.

<<Sounds like we should try to find their central computer systems. While a lot of people use terminals or their own cyberbrains alone to get into the net here? Big business and myself have a habit in common we keep our data on stand alone systems not connected to the net itself to making hacking harder>>

With that Kotone's going to start moving trying to time her movements to get past a pair of hovering sentry drones which are odd, those are not /too/ common for Gits most would be small rotor craft more or less.
Corona Arclite Corona Arclite gives George a brief nudge with her elbow and a wink. "Broken leg still ain't dead, rawht? Don't worry, Ah'll keep an eye on 'im. Y'all go find a computer to work yer techno wizardry on."

She follows after the Starbounder, reaching into her jacket and pulling out her CPAD, and plugging it into her goggles. Yes, with an actual cable. Sometimes you just don't want to take your risk with wireless netting. A fiddle with the controls a bit, and she's set her device, basically an anachronistic crystal and clockwork tricorder, to scan for camera positions and drone movements to help them navigate through the shipping yard hopefully unbothered.
Staren     Staren tilts his head. "We'll do what we have to. But I find it unlikely we will be forced to kill anyone." He backs up Kotone, before activating his suit's chameleon cloak function. The suit goes from looking like a sort of grey, modernized ninja outfit, to blending in with the surroundings. (There's a cover of the same material cloaking his magic bag) Staren backs up Kotone for now.

<<Sounds good to me. ...Hover drones? I didn't know they had those here.>>

As long as he's here, he starts scanning for wireless networks and sniffing wireless traffic. Who knows what might be important later?
Starbound Flotilla     George moves quickly. Despite his constant jokes and his feigned idiocy, he does have a long history of infiltration. Nonhumanoid drones and security drones. He can work with that. He moves quickly, but takes it slow, analyzing each section of the environment as it comes, working very well with Corona's data feed, letting her report things in meatspace rather than wirelessly.

Drones follow set paths, cameras follow set ranges. His trained mind can commit them to memory and analyze their weakpoints, his deft hands and tools can disconnect relevant camera wires when necessary, and his swift feet can take him from blindspot to blindspot. Though he makes sure to act a bit foolish on the way in, since Corona's watching, he pursues the most optimized path that years of espionage experience can muster.

He's going to try to breach the shipping area. He's looking for extremely unusual equipment, something particularly out of place for this sort of industrial work. There was something dangerous in that container that Miho encountered... So he needs to find the accommodations that these people might have made for transporting something both very unusual for them to be transporting, and very dangerous to anyone who gets near it. Potentially something that makes containers look 'damaged', like she mentioned...
Rory White     Rory is not particularly stealthy and so can't exactly sneak much. Following kotone's lead and trying to keep behind cover is her main strategy at the moment.

<<Chances are high we will find very disappointing things. I agree. But I will not tolerate those things... I cannot leave it be. Unfortunately since they appear to be using Planetary Consortium technology I cannot hack away at it with the impunity I originally estimated.>>
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa has Staren with her as she moves forward and keeps as stealthy as she can the drones seem simple but the hovering thing is new, very new.

<<I haven't even heard anything like this in tech blogs or corp promos that's strange keep moving we need to find the spot to hook Rory. I know Rory but we need to go after whatever this is? IF someone's screwing about with dubbing or something akin to it. I do not want to end up with my world having undying one percenters...let alone what's been done to Miho!>>

She will slip by and she's able to trip the door well enough beyond that there's a corridor with an android or is it a fullcon borg like Kotone on patrol in light security gear like one might expect a corp to have. He's not alone there's a drone tailing with him he seems to be on a normal patrol route. If they are careful they can get by it and keep pressing to find that hardline for Rory.

Corona and George would be making their to the shipping area between the skills and experience of Corona and George they get past the drones and camera and into the main cargo area there's cargo crates, mostly clearly marked, robot parts, raw materials, things ready to be shipped, nothing seems out of place at first glance here though there are shipping containers and several stacked together at one end of the place. There's not even the sound of near by machinery either. Still they are in and can start snooping in more detail. There are cameras about and some paroling drones but they are the hovering type and pretty darn quiet so one might not get a tel from their movement till it was too late.

Kotone Rory and Staren might also pick up the faint humm of computer hardware near by they could be closer than expected...
Corona Arclite It was times like this that being small and nimble on her feet worked in Corona's favor, darting around the camera zones and between passing drones with little issue, and guiding George to do the same. He may be a bit of a ditz (or so he wants people to think) but he can certainly move when he knows when to move!

If anything it's the -lack- of mechanical noise that gets Corona's nerves on edge once they're in the shipping area, ears twitching back and forth. ".. This ain't right. A place like this should be runnin' 24/7 packing orders, shippin' em out, and unloadin' receivin's. Trust me, Ah'd know. Ah work in a depot after all." Corona keeps her calm, but there is an obvious anxious flicking to her tail as they proceed. "Someone has somethin' they wanna hide here, iffen they ain't operatin' the place but keepin' it guarded. Be careful."

Cautiously she meanders through the shipping containers. Some are clearly marked, or otherwise obvious in the contents. She's looking for ones that seem out of place. Like not marked. Or marked as something that it doesn't look like their container could actually contain it. It's how they search train shipments for contraband, so best to start where one knows best, right?
Staren     Staren suddenly has the thought to forward a picture of the drones to Rory. <<Any model you recognize?>>

<<What about undying everyone? No, nevermind, this isn't the time for a philosophical debate.>>

Staren watches the patrol drone. Will it see through his chameleon cloak? He can only hope not. At least as a robot he can hold perfectly still, not even needing to breathe, as he watches it patrol and makes sure it is out of sight, or at least isn't going to turn around, before sneaking past.

<<Do you hear that? Sounds like a cooling fan. If we can hear it all the way out here... must be a monster machine nearby! I wonder what they need such a powerful machine for? Guess we're about to find out!>>
Rory White     Rory's sensors and awareness is not the simple thing that humans are accustomed to. High-grade sensor suites aided by the analytical abilities of helper AIs and pattern matching software cue her in on the presence of noises that do sound like older electronics equipment. She eyes the nearest wall.

<<If they are using an actual Ego Bridge Miho herself is probably fine, not counting emotional harm. I am hoping that is the case. The forks we are meeting are probably a result of attempting to load Egos into available Cyberbrain technology. This is probably the reason for the mental deterioration. I am very much hoping this is the case!>> It's the most logical thing she can come up with.

But humans aren't always logical, the otehrs are quite right...

<<Kotone, Staren, do you hear that? Strong chance that we are close!>>
Starbound Flotilla     George knows how to handle this. Slipping around crates, he focuses less on the crates and more on the shipping mechanisms. "Eyes out, kiddo. Lotta boxes around here. Don't wanna be going home in one, myself." He chuckles, and splits off from her, still slyly darting about. He's going to look for equipment, not labels. Anything used to carry technology that can do a delicate process like ghost dubbing is going to be heavy duty and very specialized. It won't be manufactured, it'll be rapidly prototyped. He needs to find loading equipment of that sort, or other accommodations of that kind. Big stuff designed to protect the local workers from whatever got Miho.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa looks to Staren.

<<You think they'd let tech like that get to the masses? Do you have any idea the poltical upheav....your right now isn't the time for that.>>

There was profit to peddle cybernetics immortality? Would be viewed as something to guard jelously. She shoves those thoughts out of her mind one way or another. Then Rory snaps her out of it.

<<That's something I'm praying for honestly but it also means Miho? Me and everyone else in my world is comptable with that tech. We'll talk about those issues later. but lets move, the guard move on lucky fo them and kotone is now homing in on the noises she hits pay dirt as they do find the server room, there is one issue there's someone there but they are currently jacked into the system so their eyes are not on the world of flesh at the moment, Kotone knows if they pull the jacks could cause issue.

<<Found it but someone here and jacked in right now...>>

Corona and George are. Corona would find a crate full of companion models ready to be shipped out the same model as 'miho' was carrying. It wasn't labled and looks like the production mark puts it at being from somewhere else this seems to be a possible relay point. As george goes about looking he'd find some very high tech shipping containers in the outgoing part of the warehouse, that's the really odd part it's also masking it's signature making it hard to /scan/ through them to see the contents of them.
Corona Arclite Corona gets the crate open, only to shiver a bit at the contents. Seeing one of those moving around on their own from having someone else's brain patterns copied to it just makes them all the more creepy looking to find just laying there. "Muh goosebumps are gettin' goosebumps now." Doesn't help that they're probably doing the same thing Miho did that got her brainjacked, either.

Disturbing implications aside, she does snap a couple of pictures with her CPAD, just to be sure to have some sort of evidence recorded.

"And Ah thought the Black Hats were creepy techno fiends," the vixen mutters to herself afterwards, and she slinks off to see if George found anything else interesting.
Starbound Flotilla     George knows one thing: Don't breach these fukken crates. They're full of something incredibly dangerous, which got Miho... Which is why he knows to focus on a more indirect way. If he can't harmlessly investigate the interior through scans, he needs to extract its contents. But he can't open it... And he can't just leave with it.

    Or can he?

He draws his matter manipulator. "Heya kids, let's see what's behind door number one... Sorry, I meant let's steal all the doors." He turns his Matter Manipulator's structure-grabbing up. He's going to steal those shipping containers entirely, by cramming them into his inventory! As he does, he asides to Corona, "Hey, don't knock it. In fact, don't get anywhere near it, metaphorically speaking. Because man, it's creepy! And probably vaguely unsanitary." He laughs at his faux-foolish joke there. "Hey, get the addresses on 'em, gotta know where they're heading and where they're heading from. Somewhere along the line, Miho's brainvapors get shoved in, that's another lead." If she doesn't, he will, probably!
Staren     <<Except she's /not/ compatible, if the copies lost their memories. Unless... what if that's not due to the ego bridge? Could it be the result of a botched pychosurgery, Rory? ...COULD THEY BE EXPERIMENTING WITH PSYCHOSURGERY?!>> The thought would make Staren's blood run cold if he had any.

They found the server room! ...It really seems like there should have been more security. Maybe Staren's got the wrong idea about this company? Then again, that looked like a heavy combat cyborg... <<My muse will watch him. If he unjacks, I'll pull out and deal with him. Or perhaps I should stun him now?>> Staren sits down at another jack and opens a panel in the back of his neck to pull out a wire, running it to an ecto just to be safe before plugging the ecto into the jack. <<Or perhaps I should just stun him with a phaser now?>> Staren tries to take a look at the system they're dealing with to decide what approach to take. Is this a terminal or a workstation? He needs in without a password, so he'll need some way to trick it into accepting commands, or perhaps reboot it... <<Will he be logged out if we disconnect him? Could we plug in and keep using his session?>>
Rory White     <<You're right, it does! I had not considered the implications of that at all! ... That gives me ideas. We'll have to talk more about that later.>> Oh dear. Rory has ideas. A lot of ideas.

Into the Server room they go. She wastes no time getting near an open jack and pulling a wire from a compartment on her armor. She doesn't usually need to directly jack into anything, but this one is specifically for this purpose. it's been engineered with Kotone's technology in mind... so she slides it directly into the port!

... And leaves managing it to her Multi-Threaded thought processes so she herself can remain focused on the one user in the room.

<<infiltration successful! I'm beginning the operation. What should we DO about that person, Kotone?>>

The first thign Rory does is set her Kaos AI to work at analyzing the protocols and encryptions at use. She's hoping that the majority of the tech these guys are using will NOT be Transhuman-grade, since having a hundred, maybe a thousand times more processing power will be an IMMENSE advantage to slipping past intrusion detections, authenticating with SOME decent credentials, and downloading everything she possibly can.
Kotone Yamakawa Corona wouldn't know it but she's 100 percent right about her fears. For now she keeps digging through things. There are no laws against non sapient companion dolls. In many developm3ent nations it's /hurt/ criminals in certain trades and even found an outlet curving other unsavoury behaviours to people. Still it's creepy to many like Kotone's skin crawls when Doll Fans tail her after all. Two of the strange shipping containers go into Georges Matter Manipulator's the third? Does not move /at/ all, it refuses to move or be taken into the Matter Manipulator's storage unit. There's something alive in this fairly large shipping container.

<<Take a copy of someone, then edit it up to be the perfect companion doll mind...you'd get something more life like than any AI we ever rolled out on our world.>>

She knows about the think tanks but isn't bringing them up they are government tech after all.

She moves to help Rory and Staren as they go in she'll keep in meat space then for a moment as she moves to look to jack in herself it's time to give what help she can.

<<Feel him false data make him think nothing's up. We pull the plug it ends the session it's basic safety and security.>>

Kotone's method of help is being willing to link her cyberbrain too them and let them use it's systems for additional power. She doe spoke something but seems to be focusing on looking for certain things.

Rory would find there's a lot of native tech but they have been using a number of transhuman programs it looks like the local OS has been altered with upgrades by someone who understands Rory's world. While it seems to be deeper in the the system were even other hackers would be less likely to find it. It's clear this company has off world contacts and has had so for a while to have tech like this. Still it looks like Rory's getting lucky yet? She would find this place is pretty wired up for keeping people out.

Staren would find there are other jacking ports for him to use. so long as man here, gets fed false data he'll be able to ... work hopefully unnoticed.
Starbound Flotilla     George prods at the container with his Matter Manipulator's energy, incredulous at its effects. This one too. He notes its origin point and its destination, if they're marked anywhere, or tries to send the data to those who are handling the digital side of things, so they can trace its shipping. Finally, he pulls the Matter Manipulator down a notch, loading its welding function. Should keep relatively quiet while he slices through the box, eyes narrowed and gun already drawn from the compressed space of his MM. With one hand, he slices the opening of the container, and with the other, he keeps the silenced pistol focused on the opening. If something attacked Miho from one of these, he needs to be ready...

But he also needs to be ready in case this thing contains more of her.
Corona Arclite Corona Arclite fiddles with her CPAD for a moment, making sure the pictures she took included the shipping registers on the crates as well. It's not until she hears the crate rattling around from resisting the Manipulator that she looks up again. As far as she knows, something -alive- inside is the only thing the MMs won't pick up, so that's a really big thing right there.

"Need a hand with that pardner?" Corona activates the plasma cutting torchs in her gloves to help with getting the container open.

Plus they double as weapons if something DOES come after them for it.
Staren     Staren makes a face as Kotone points out one possible sue for ghost dubbing. <<Eugh, that is /fucked up/. Would you /really/ have a problem with us killing whoever's responsible for this, if that's what they're up to?>>

While Rory uses her computer powers (that is, the powers of being a computer) to raid the system for files, Staren gets login credentials from her much faster hacking and goes to work on security -- making sure no alarms are tripped and erasing their tracks. Maybe it's not /perfect/, but someone would have to suspect what happened and go looking for it, and the original data would still be gone. If it works, the cameras will say they're not even in the room right now! Like ghosts.
Rory White     DING! Once Rory gets credentials she quickly passes them to staren and Kotone. One thought thread works at cross-referencing the data on that crate George is sending. Another is hunting for emails or similar communications data. Another objective? Encryption keys and user databases. Contact information. Shipping records. As much as she can possibly load even if it's still encrypted!

But some attention has to go towards the security systems. She not only attempts to download all the security footage she possibly can in-between the other efforts, but loop the feed for the room they're in so that it appears empty apart from the one diving employee. And if she can get security of that level working?

Well, she's also interested in WHAT THAT DUDE IS DOING.
Kotone Yamakawa The quesiton is what's in there? Whose in there? That's the biggest wuerstion as George takes his risk. Kotone would get the data from George and will look at it later. The point is marked but it might end up being troublesome. George would get some help from from Corona and this was needed as they finally cut through the pack they would find the entire thing is like some sort of live transport unit. There's restrains along the walls on both side, all of them but one are empty. Hanging from one is a young girl who looks to be Korean from the looks of her. She's young about 15 and she's not concious she's also got a head unit on which seems to have feeds for food and water.

<<We'll find out don't borrow trouble do you have any idea how nagry IU am about this happening? Focus stopping this the victems, worry about vengance later.>>

Kotone certianly has changed a bit from when she first stepped off her world to get something to eat. So long ago. She's focused on the objective vengace isn't worth losing Miho.

Rory would start grabbin the shipping records she finds where they are, she'll find the data she's after for on the crate but some it's looking like it might be headed for somewhere off shore from the looks of things. She's also getting shipping records, contacts lists portions are encoded but she's able to get an idea of what she's getting she won't be getting useless junk that's for sure. She also gets some of the shipments like that one crate are marked live and to get them /moved/ soon as possible. Like in the morning from the looks of things.

As for the dude he seems to be doing some heavy maitance in the network which is why all his attention's focused on what he's doing he's fixing code, wait no he's putting in an upgrade of some sort...to the overall system.
Staren     <<Victim/s/? Shit, you think they're already... nngh. Rory, have you got any data pointing us to anyone or anything or anyplace yet? I've got the security taken care of.>> Staren transmits. If Rory mentions the update, Staren adds, <<Shoot. That's probably not good, may make doing this again at any of their other sites a problem. Can you get a copy for analysis, any measures you can put in place while we're here, like dummy accounts that will get migrated?>>
Starbound Flotilla     George chuckles as Corona's accent, for once. "Fuzziest Novakid I ever saw, lady. Yeah, gimmie a hand." And then they pop it wide. The flashlight on his Matter Manipulator sweeps through the container, identifying the young foreign girl. He then seems to freeze. For a moment, he double-checks that this is a real person. Yep, there's a food and water feed right there. His big goofy grin seems locked in place, like something strange will happen if he unlocks it.

"So, hey! I've got some, you know, business to deal with. Can you get her out of here?" George says, the grin and the goofy tone still heavy on his face and his voice. "I'm going to be, you know, really busy for a minute." He's pulling out some kind of heavy gas transfer valves, and some tremendous gas containers from his Matter Manipulator. These seem like bomb components. He wanders back out of the crate and seems like he's going to go, uh...

Well, yeah, if nobody stops him, it looks like the combination of corporate opporession and violence towards children has him wordlessly deciding that it might be a better idea to turn the entire warehouse into a crater, despite Kotone's previous requests.
Rory White     <<Importing Transhuman technology and then doing research specifically to produce AIs for the sex industry instead of simply downloading one of the available AIs and modifying it seems wasteful, counter-intuitive, and needlessly cruel.>> Rory comments, apparently not at all squeamish about this topic. Perhaps a bit angry, but not embarassed or squeamish.

She still doesn't really understand why humans act that way around the topic.

<<Thus I can conclude that whatever link they have is not an open one. Someone is feeding them only pieces of the technology. It's the only explanation. They are not using what already exists because they do not have it. This correlates with the Planetary Consortium technology in use. They are possibly being lead on by a Hypercorp hoping to exploit them or gain influence and don't have access to anything more than what they are being given.>>

The only question is, how is Rory coming up with these theories so fast? It's perhaps one advantage of being focused on logic and crisis response over emotions!

<<I'll do one better than that, Staren!>> Not only is she making dummy accounts if she can, hidden as deep out of normal 'sight' as possible, but she's attempting her own upgrades and modificatios in the wake of this guy - adding kernel-level exploits, for instance. A properly signed rootkit module would be lovely.
Corona Arclite "Oh hell's spurs," Corona mutters at seeing what's actually in the container. Fortunately there's only one, but that's hardly a reassuring point at this juncture because they clearly intended for there to be more. It certainly sombers the moment, to the point she doesn't even respond to the 'fuzzy novakid' remark.

".. Yeah." In contrast most of Corona's spunky rustic demeanor has dried out at the sight. Probably has something to do with her own life of hardships as a kid that has seeing the youth bottled up like some preservative waiting to be sold at the market has her so uncommonly somber. "Yeah, already on it..." She reconizes the sort of materials George is getting out, too.

"Okay, no time to bother doin' this the delicate way." Corona takes a few steps back, rummages a metallic cube out of her duster, and clinks it on the floor in front of her. The cube makes a ticking sound like gears winding up for a moment, and then goes through a shuffling of panels and mechanical parts to expand to a more appropriatel size. A tripod of legs extend out of the bottom to raise it off the ground, and the sides of the cube open up to extend four segmented appendages.

By the time the automatronic unit has expanded fully Corona grabs onto the handles at the back to operate it like one would a skid-steer, directing it to grab the tube with the girl with it's four clamps and pull it from the container.

At this point if it starts setting off alarms or not Corona doesn't care, it's time to grab and go. Once the girl's tube is yanked free the automatron rotates around and scrambles for the exit of the warehouse on it's trio of legs. Once outside Corona can teleport it, the girl and herself back up to a ship, and -then- see about getting the girl out and to a proper medical sort.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone doesn't know what george is doing, she had more than a lack of blood shead in ind she'd seen one of the Section Nine officers and he was packing the same grade of body as here and likely with way more traning and experiance behind it. She could only guess about the rest but for the moment she's making sure she's helping Rory and Staren.

<<This might be something else they are looking into doing this could be a small bit of the pie.>>

She keeps her kink to STaren and Rory not minding being the whole bie ogf them tapping her brain for whar she needed.

<<Grab what you can if we'd been slower we might not have made any headway.>>

The data goes well enough the worker is delaing with code that's beyond cutting edge the fact he's installing right says a lot about his level of skill. Thankfully he's very busy here..

Corona is getting to work also getting legal proof to help sink the company. The girl will give Corona no trouble at all in getting her out but she's right an alert is going to be sounded the moment it hits the outside. Thankfully people are working fast, and the guy in the OS upgrade can't really /stop/ without losing work he also has no idea he's got company.

<<Shit! We got an alarmt people we need to grab what we can and GO now!>>

Given the state of things a beamout may be the /best/ idea now once they get outside. Kotone's going to jack out the moment her brain's not needed and get ready to split.

Thankfully people are working fast, and the guy in the OS upgrade can't really /stop/ without losing work he also has no idea he's got company. However Staren has a moment to act he might be able to cut off the alarm so only the drones that spotted the girl will be an issue.
Staren     Staren's monitoring security. He thought he disabled the alarms, but he sees one pop up anyway and quickly squelches it with a thought, then deletes the record it was ever triggered. <<You've been spotted. I stopped the alarm, but some people might have seen it.>>

Wait... She's spotted by /drones/? If they're hooked into the same system, Staren tries to take control of them and direct them to target empty air. And then corrupt their onboard files, so it will look like the drones suffered some kind of bug, or were specifically hacked. There's probably no hiding that hackers were here, now, but he can try to be discreet, can't he?
<<How're those files coming, Rory? Got everything yet?>>
Rory White     Although she would loathe to call herself sadistic in any way, a part of Rory can't help but feel immensely pleased with her superiority over this helpless sap in the next seat over. He has NO idea what he's working with, she eats this stuff for breakfast... so to speak.

He has no chance at detecting the subtle changes she makes to the code he's queing up for installation. Using his credentials she signs a rootkit-like module and inserts it into the installation package!

    *CLICK*

Her data jack is pulled and rolled up in a hurry... there's litle more than she can do that Staren isn't handling.

<<I think we have everything we can feasibly get in an operation like this.>.
Starbound Flotilla     George has set the bomb in a secret place.

<<Alright. Yeah, I'm done here! Got about all I need to get outta here too!>> George radios over. He grits his teeth, and drops the goofy grin while Corona isn't watching. He despises this place and wants it turned into a crater as soon as possible. In the interest of that, he notes that they may be running out of time. One alarm stopped, but George isn't going to stick around to start another one. He's going to do his best to take the path he took in right back out... Assuming he can't simply teleport! He'll try that first. A recall teleport is much easier to calculate, and assuming he's in an open space that doesn't have too much electronic or network interference that's intentionally blocking it, he'll be able to zip right back aboard the Mendacity. Otherwise, sneaking right back out is what he'll try!
Staren     Staren nods after a moment. <<Alright.>> He uses the same prior footage trick to remove all video of them, and after a moment to double-check that his tracks are covered, and put in a program to block all alarms and maintain the video fakery for the next few minutes and then delete itself, he unplugs and stands up. He's about to deploy cleaner nanites to remove any DNA evidence when he realizes they're all in synths. Well then. <<Alright, let's get out of here. If we do it right, they won't even know we were here for who knows how long! I tried to make it look like a drone malfunction, like maybe we had someone on the inside hack some of the drones... although, that won't explain the camera feeds. Ah well, can only do so much! Next time I'll bring better tools.>>
Kotone Yamakawa Staren's able to by it to make this look like it was a sneak in pop the crate and run off with the girl op, rather than the true scale of what they did. IT should buy them some time and some more diversion thankfully George and Corona won't show up in any local databases on this world or whatever one is funding this opt as well. Kotone jacks out and she moves to pull her self out and moves to get up.

<<Ya lets go and make for evac before things get worse. Staren we got everything we could. Rory toss my brain a copy of what you got.>>

The party is able to split pretty quickly there will be signs of a breakin but just to who that's going to be a mystery for a while. There have been some terrible answers here and even worse questions to ask. Also whose this lost soul they pulled out of hell?
