Jasper % Clang. Clang. Clang. The sounds echo throughout the barracks as Ferham seeks out Jasper. Clang. Clang.

Her quarters - as if they could be called that - are bare and spartan, filled with nothing more than a rack of weapons (including a huge battle axe) and a bulkhead wall which is covered in dents. Jasper-sized fist dents.

Jasper turns as Ferham enters, pulling herself to her full height. "Ah," she says, the light catching the edges of her gem, "Ferham."
Ferham      Ferham had arrived as she was instructed, and only taken a few moments to get herself to Jasper's room in the barracks. It looked more like an armory, or an actual medieval barracks what with all the lack of furnishings and the multitude of weapons. Having flashed her armor off, since she was inside the ship anyway and it was easier to move about out of it, the femmebot enters and gives a nod to the homeworld gem, who'd more or less become her instructor, of sorts. Jasper might just be a little surprised however to realize that Fer is clad in a dark green leotard, lighter lime-green tights and what look like a pair of dark green heeled boots. She's wearing a green shade of lipstick too, perhaps a bit of Peridot has been rubbing off on her?

"You called, sir?" she asks, a hand on her hip. She seems fairly normal, otherwise.
Jasper      Jasper stares at Ferham, a strange sense of perplexed confusion on her face. She stalks towards Ferham, and it feels like the deck shakes beneath her feet. "So, taking after Peridot are you? How interesting. That's precisely what I want to talk about."

"But you remembered your station. Good. At least someone on this ship does."
Ferham      "Alright, what is it you wanted to discuss, exactly, sir?" Ferham seems to have kept her end of the bargain she had made with Jasper when she lost that sparring match before, and is reporting to her with the respect it required. "I'm glad you are pleased, at least," she smiled a little and stepped away from the door, standing there at attention with her hand on her hip. "If there's anything I can do to help you just have to ask, after all, sir," she seemed to be playing up the respectful bit, anyway.
Jasper      In many ways, Jasper is a simple creature. She respects strength, physical strength. But she also respects tradition, the thousands of years that Homeworld Gems have put into their part of the galaxy. That is, before Unification of course.

So, she watches Ferham. Jasper steps around her, scrutinising her like a drill sergeant, like she's looking for something to pick up on. Some sign of weakness. "First things first, Ferham - I don't ask for anything, I command."

"But command is the issue at stake. Peridot has been... mingling with the natives. We went to a 'tea party'-" Oh, the scorn and disgust in her voice! "-and it was a total waste of time! She's turning into Rose Quartz, I know it." Jasper is practically seething.
Ferham      "I understand sir," Ferham nodded her head and closed her eyes when Jasper corrected her, before looking back up with her green eyes, which were her own, and natural, at least--though it was an amusing coincidence. "So you think Miss Peridot is... going soft? or becoming distracted from her task?" Ferham raised a brow at that, tilting her head a little, a long dark bang falling over her eye as it came loose. "I understand you are not one for social events, sir," she added a bit sullenly, as if sympathizing with Jasper.
Jasper      "Do you, Ferham?!" Jasper snaps, gripping her by the cheek and chin with her fingers. "Do you, really?" Her voice is low and dangerous, maybe even mocking. "I think she's soft. I think she's going down the same path that led Rose to turn on Homeworld and she thinks I can't see it. It's sick and disgusting and the fact that is is in command- it makes me angry, Ferham," Jasper growls. "It makes - me - /angry/."

"I could grind Peridot into dust beneath my foot. She thinks she's better than me because she can make /friends/? No one on this ship - no one - is stronger than me."

Wow. She's really got some pent-up issues.
Ferham      "Y-Yes?" Ferham has to respond a little shakily in return, though hers due to the fact that Jasper has suddenly become so intense. It isn't many a creature that is able to put Fer on such alarm and care, either. "Of course not sir, no one is stronger than you here," Fer says, her voice a little slurred thanks to the hands over her cheeks and lips. "However I am not sure that Miss Peridot is truly able to understand such emotions, that would allow her to truly befriend someone... she is more seeking business partners, it would appear," huh, independant thought and speaking freely even in front of Jasper in Full Metal Jacket Mode, ruh roh.
Jasper      No one would ever call Jasper 'stable'. At the best of times, she was always hotheaded. At the worst of times, she simply didn't care about anyone except herself and anything beyond Homeworld's edicts. Here, maybe, Jasper is without guidance - which means she's a missile seeking a target. Any target.

"Business partners," Jasper replies, as if hearing the term for the first time. Maybe she has. "We don't /need/ partners, Ferham!" Unless Ferham is particularly quick, it looks like Jasper is going to use that grip on Ferham's chin to thrust her against the wall!

"All Peridot needs is to get the Kindergarten up and running. Why do you defend her? Why do you dress in her colors?" Jasper asks, sounding so confused that it borders on incomprehensible anguish. "We spent an entire solar afternoon being /insulted/, even when I conquered their rituals. I will not let Peridot weaken our mission here. I won't let her go down the path of Rose Quartz."
Ferham      The femmebot is at least light on her feet, so when she's pushed back against the wall she readies herself so that she doesn't connect with the back of her head. On second thought, maybe she /should/ have worn her armor in here. "I'm trying to help Miss Peridot so that her race has a chance of surviving, I don't wish to see the kindergarten come to harm or her new gems in dnager," she shakes her head. "It's just something I can't allow. The homeworld gems are an endangered species, correct?" she raised her hands a bit, partly defensively.
Jasper      "Endangered?" Jasper asks, taking a step forwards and looming over Ferham, her white hair and golden eyes making her look especially bestial. "Is that what she told you? We're only endangered if you believe that Homeworld is destroyed. When we have contact again with Yellow Diamond, then we'll see who is really endangered. Our race won't survive if we compromise what we are! Just look at Rose, she went and made herself into some human child. Why? What was the point?!"
Ferham      "I'm only attempting to assist your efforts, sir," Ferham has nearly begun to flatten herself against the wall, which was no easy feat for a lady her size. "What do you order me to do then, sir?" she looked up again, locking eyes with the golden eyed gem. "I... don't know, honestly sir, I've had thoughts of what it would be like if I was not a Reploid, not a robot--and instead maybe an organic, but I'd not want to give up what I am, exactly..." this seemed to be something Fer had doubts before about.
Jasper      Jasper places one hand beside Ferham's head and she leans in close, bringing herself eye to eye with Ferham. Unlike most Gems, Jasper's teeth are more like fangs. It's, well, not the most reassuring sight. "I want you to keep an eye on Peridot. That's all. I want you to ensure that she doesn't forget her mission, her responsibility to Homeworld. That's all," she croons, in a tone that is too sickly sweet for the implied threat behind it.

She places one finger against the side of Ferham's head, maybe just above whatever passes for her brain or CPU. "But you're not an organic, are you? You're like one of Peridot's robonoids, but smarter. You're valuable in so much as that you can help me. And you'll do that by watching Peridot. /That/ will assist my efforts and Homeworld's efforts."
Ferham      The fact that Fer is able to keep still during this is perhaps a credit to her resolve, or fearlessness--though Jasper seems like the type to be able to put fear into a robot at all, is kind of proof of her ferocity. "I will make sure Peridot doesn't stray from her mission, sir," Ferham lightly nods. She is still calm apparently, only moving when she's got that finger pressed to her head, tilting her head into it. "Is there anything... else you would have me do, sir?"
Jasper      Jasper steps back and says, "No. Not at this time, Ferham." It's like a stormcloud passing over, the sun reappearing. The sensation of stepping up to a precipice and managing not to fall. "All I want is you to report to me on Peridot's activities, what she's thinking. Anything that might be a... problem."
Ferham      Ferham had been able to feel the heat and breath and the distinct aura of hatred and predatory-nature coming off of Jasper, like it was radiating out from her in thick waves. "I will observe her and report back if there is any.. trouble," Ferham nodded finally, though she did seem to visibly relax when Jasper finally stepped back, like a huge weight had been lifted from her shoulders, or perhaps she had been allowed to slip back from a burning furnace. "I'll... report back then, sir," she stepped toward the door, almost a little too quickly~
Jasper      "You're dismissed," Jasper states, looking down her gem with her head tilted back, like Ferham is just another soldier to boss around.

Of course, once Ferham has left and the door has closed behind her, there's only the sound of Jasper's fists - once again - putting dents in the bulkhead, although with a bit less anger. Maybe Jasper found it relaxing to have someone to boss around? Who knows.
