Yunomi Stadler	RAVNICA -- IZZET SECTOR -- NAMAMURA DISTRICT The district has changed. Laterns arre still hanging from the last mabon, and folks appear to be getting more and more used to the strange surroundings they have settled in. Some left to return home once the village was sceeded back to Yunomi's guardianship, though now retired fighters from space guard it. Others left for more peaceful, stable settings across the Multiverse. And then there were those who remained in Ravnica. One man kisses his wife before he runs off to return from his lunch break to sorting paperwork. Children play in the cobblestone sidewalks -- vehicles are forbidden in this area, unless there's an emergency. And watching over them, above them on a tiled rooftop, her back to a huge tree with browned leaves clinging to it is their guardian, Yunomi Stadler. Her bright blue and red armor was replaced by muted greens and browns today, a soft shirt and jacket with a brown belt. She looks like she could have walked in from another planet, another story, if not for the red, blue, and bronze gauntlets she was still sporting under the loose sleeves of the robe. She's leaning on a staff. Looks like she might have been doing some training.
Sakura Kinomoto	Sakura is currently walking through the streets of the district, dressed in everyday clothes for a teenager of her age - a hooded sweatshirt, a pair of faded jeans, and sneakers. The hoodie and the sneakers are, of course, a muted pink. Of course, this makes her stick out like a sore thumb in a district mostly populated by people from a medieval Japan analogue, even if they HAVE been living in Ravnica for the past few years at this point. So it shouldn't be hard for Yunomi to pick her out of the crowd. It's kinda odd that Sakura didn't find her first, actually. She's usually good at that. Maybe she's not looking for Yunomi today?
Yunomi Stadler	Yunomi spots Sakura pretty easily. Her head tilts, her ears pricking up as she spies the other mage walking through the streets, and she kneels down a moment, her knees sticking out like a gargoyle as she watches Sakura move through the crowd. And then she steps off the roof, draws down to the ground slowly, and begins to walk behind the mage. In her mind, Yunomi can hear the "duuun duh.... duuun duh... duun duh duh duh duuun duh duh duh...' of the JAWS theme.
Sakura Kinomoto	Sakura appears to be eating a crepe filled with cream and fruit. Delicious. Seasonally totally inappropriate, but delicious! As Yunomi gets closer, she'll be able to spot the Sweet card flitting around by Sakura's head, staring in awe whenever they pass a vendor selling sweet treats. Seems Sakura decided to give one of her cards a walk. She hasn't noticed Yunomi yet!
Yunomi Stadler	It is never an inappropriate time to eat cream and fruit filled crepes. It's what multiversal seasons are for. Yunomi slides up behind Sakura now, and then reaches out and taps on the girl's left shoulder, while dodging over to her right. Old move.
Sakura Kinomoto	Sakura looks to her left in confusion! And... suddenly, -another- Sakura sneaks up behind Yunomi and attempts to get her in a headlock. ...Wait, what the hell? "Got you!" Oka chirps cheerfully... even in the event her headlock doesn't connect.
Yunomi Stadler	!! WHAT THE -- Yunomi gives a surprised IRK as Oka chirps, and then she gives a laugh, bent over. "Ah, yep. I'm got. Help. Sakura." she laughs, and pats Oka on the back. "And how are you guys doing? What brings you to the Namamura district?"
Sakura Kinomoto	Sakura promptly turns and glomps Yunomi. "There you are!" She laughs with delight. "Maan. I was worried I wouldn't be able to find you, but... I guess Oka's idea was a good one~" Oka releases Yunomi and takes a few steps back, grinning. It becomes apparently that there's an easy way to distinguish them - Oka has her hair tied up with a green ribbon, while Sakura is wearing a cherry blossom hair clip. "Master was feeling sad. So I suggested we come see you."
Yunomi Stadler	Yunomi straightens up, and as she brushes down her outfit, it melts away to become a sweatshirt proclaiming that it is property of the Izzet Athletic League, complete with Niv Mizzet's likeness on it and a pair of jeans. "You got me." she re-affirms, and then she pauses, and glances over to Sakura. "Feeling sad? You have a crepe in your hand and you're feeling /sad/?" she tuts, then places a gloved hand on Sakura's head. "Are you ill?"
Sakura Kinomoto	Sakura eeps a bit and squirms. She doesn't have a fever! Before she can respond, though, Oka chirps up. "She's feeling sad because she has all of us back again and she has no Mystic Adventures to go on. It's kinda sad, honestly." Sakura glares at Oka.
Yunomi Stadler	"Is that all?" Yunomi replies, and she glances from Oka back to Sakura, glancing up to the other mage, and she gives a sidelong grin. "Are you serious? No more adventures? It's not like you collected all the bottlecaps. You have all your cards back! You have endless possibilities!" Yunomi states, taking Sakura's hand, taking Oka's hand, and then leading them /both/. "I bet you I could find an adventure in fifteen minutes if I wanted to."
Sakura Kinomoto	The Sweet ends up perched atop Yunomi's head, directly between her tanuki ears. Even if they may not be visible right now. She knows they're there! Sakura laughs a bit as her hand is taken and she's lead along. "That's not it! Just, you know. I'm not 'important' anymore. I've fulfilled my destiny. Again." She rubs the back of her head. Oka sticks out her tongue at Sakura.
Yunomi Stadler	"So you find a new destiny! If you're just about collecting stuff, that's kinda boring, isn't it?" Yunomi questions, and wiggles her totally visible ears against The Sweet. "Make your own destiny. Create a new path. You're way better than sitting around and just being bored, Sakura. As one of your best friends, I'm pretty decently sure of that." she states with a serious tone in her voice, leading them out and to the side, down a side alleyway. "... if I can fail mind and find a new one, you can be sucsessful at yours and find a new one."
Sakura Kinomoto	Sakura goes silent for a moment, then facepalms. "Oh man I am being totally inconsiderate again, aren't I?" Oka and the Sweet card are both pretty quick to respond with rather emphatic nods. Sakura frowns. "I, uh..." Pause. "Okay! Let's go find an adventure, then!"
Yunomi Stadler	"No, you're not being inconsiderate. You're not... being rude or mean or anything." Yunomi pauses, and she turns around, setting Sakura and Oka's hands down. She walks over to Sakura, and she puts her gloved hands on either side of her face. "You completed another chapter, and let one door close. There are a million, billion, trillion other doors for you to open, windows to crack, and walls to break through and ceilings to burst upwards through. This should be cause for celebration. You have them all back."
Sakura Kinomoto	Oka leans back and puts her hands behind her head. "She IS being all 'oh no I have all of my magical cards who love me safe and sound again and I'm sad about it' though. We have feelings too~" The way Oka is speaking really doesn't make her sound upset, though. Sakura makes a face, then nods her head. "I... yeah. You're right. I've never really been great at picking me own path, is all."
Yunomi Stadler	"Neither have I." Yunomi shrugs, and she motions them. "C'mon. This is the Izzet sector, there's always something going on. If nothing else, we can head up to the Mantle and ice skate." the Tanuki gives a grin, her ears wriggling.
Sakura Kinomoto	Sakura grins a little bit. "...Sure, that sounds fun." And she promptly follows after Yunomi, soon falling into step with her. Oka hangs back just a little bit, although not so far she can't jump into the conversation with some 'witty' comment or so.
Yunomi Stadler	Yunomi gives a smile, and continues on. She can at least act happy for Sakura's sake. With The Sweet still on her head, the Mage turns a corner, ahead of Sakura, and skids to a stop, backpedals, while reaching for the Sweet and bringing her head down. She brings her arm up, shilding the side of her head as the alleyway lights up brightly. The heat waves hit first, distoring the air, and the sound is the air being sucked in, then rapidly expanded -- whoooophh! -- And Yunomi dives back towards Sakura nd Oka, her hands protecting The Sweet!
Sakura Kinomoto	Sakura yelps a bit, stepping back and swinging her right hand down. "RELEASE!" she calls out, summoning her wand to her hand in a flash of magic sparklies. Something about her magic feels... different, somehow. More unified. Odd! "What is it?!" Oka has her Mirror in her hand, currently sized like a shield and held up in front of her. The Sweet, meanwhile, cowers in Yunomi's hand!
Yunomi Stadler	"I didn't see -- just the fireball forming!" Yunomi calls back. The Sweet is safely covered. The back of Yunomi's sweatshirt was smouldering slightly, and she sheds the clothing, summonging her armor. Her hair goes from ponytail to braided-and-coronaed in no time flat thanks to shapeshifting, looking over her shoulder. There's a few shouts, and the sound of retreating footfalls. "... but they picked the wrong day to visit the District." she growls -- her tail frizzing as she turns to look to the Sweet. "Are you okay, little one?" she asks softly.
Sakura Kinomoto	The Sweet gives a thumbs-up, although it still looks a little shaken! Sakura has drawn three cards from the pockets of her hoodie. "Okay, what's the plan? Try to head them off?"
Yunomi Stadler	Yunomi gives a nod, and she hands The Sweet over to Sakura. "Go up and over the rooftops, but keep yourself from being hit. I'll chase them down along the street level. There's a dead-end alley not far from here -- see if you can stear them in there. But once they're cornered -- they're going to be dangerous." Yunomi warns, and she takes off after them, leaping into the air and speeding along at the ground level.
Sakura Kinomoto	Sakura nods her head. "Got it." With a snap of her fingers, the Sweet and the Mirror return to card form - and with a cry of "Jump!", Sakura activates a card and leaps up into the air, landing on a rooftop and dashing along. She's improved her speed since the last time Yunomi saw her run! And she's also moving... more quietly? Seems she took Yunomi's advice to stay unseen to heart.
Yunomi Stadler	Yunomi's player blames Altair. Yunomi never met the guy. But she's glad Sakura's keeping safe. The remains of a weapon being built were left smouldering as she takes the right hand turn and gives chase to the trio of culprits in black robes. Her eyes narrow. She keeps back far enough that she's seen easily. She manages to lob a few fireballs to keep /them/ running on task. Above Sakura might find the alleyways a bit too far to jump without help. Up above, true to form, there's an alleyway that leads to a dead end, but it has a large refuse pile partially blocking it.
Sakura Kinomoto	Sakura has actually unconsciously pulled her hood up as she continues to run along. The alleyway is easily clear with Sakura's Jump spell - it can easily propell her several meters straight up from a standing start, an alleyway is nothing! Spotting the dead end alleyway, Sakura looks about for somewhere to hide, assuming that Yunomi will try to drive the robed... people down it.
Yunomi Stadler	Yunomi's player, again, blames Altair. The bastard. We miss him. The figures in the black robes continue running towards the dead end, dodging around the flotsam and jetsam left behind in Ravnica's alleyways, when one stops, turns, and takes out a weapon. A long tube wtih a gem at one end and a butt on the other, like a shotgun. Yunomi pauses, and she skids to a halt as her eyes go wide, her teeth bared . And the weapon fires. There's a shockwave that rumbles the street and some of the houses, speeding along -- and Yunomi's in its direct way. She turns, but too slow, and is caught in the fire. She screams, the brickwork singed and turning black from the heat.
Sakura Kinomoto	Time seems to almost slow down as Sakura gets a good look at what's happening. She reaches into her pocket for a card... Yunomi's sensitive ears might pick up a cry of "Time!" from Sakura, before, suddenly...! Sakura is standing in front of Yunomi. Her hood is down, revealing her face clearly. She's not slouched in a stealthy position, either - she stands tall and strong. Assassing Sakura isn't here to play, today - this is Magical Girl Sakura's time to shine. The shimmering yellow wall of the Shield card fades away as the flames recede. "When the forces of darkness threaten the innocent, a heroine appears!" she practically shouts, pointing her Wand of Stars at the Bad Guys. "Master of the Cards, Cardcaptor Sakura, has arrived!" She's holding five of her Cards spread in her left hand, and is striking quite a Heroic Pose.
Yunomi Stadler	The armor's taken the brunt of the damage -- fire repressents at work, the magical spells hissing as they repair. Yunomi's hair is singed, her tail has a few scorch marks, but she's going to be allr ight. She coughs up black gunk, and spits it off to the side. "Did... she just make a speech?" One of the black robed figures ask. Another hisses "Thissss is not time to quessstion... that is an Izzet guard and an outworlder." the other states. The third remains silent, but raises his hand. In his hand there is a ball, crossed over and over with arcane lines and holding inside a swirling mass of violet and black. They sling it at the ground, and a thick, fumy smoke fills the air around them. It /stinks/ like week-old dog farts and rotting beef.
Sakura Kinomoto	"You're not getting away!" Sakura shouts, snapping her right hand up to toss one of those cards into the air. "BUBBLES!" she calls out. The adorable lil' mermaid with foam for hair bursts out of the card, bringing both hands up - and cleansing the entire alley. It's cleaner than before they entered - even the garbage is gone! ...And so are the robed jerks. "...Or maybe you are."
Yunomi Stadler	Yunomi glances down -- even the black gunk she coughed up was gone. She purses her lips, and gives a momen's approving nod, before she draws herself up. She teeters slightly, and grasps her arm, muttering a soft 'ow' before she leans against a nice, freshly clean wall. And smears it with soot. Poor Bubbles. "Did you get a good look at any of their faces, Sakura?"
Sakura Kinomoto	The Bubbles huffs at Yunomi and crosses her arms. Sakura rubs the back of her head, shifting from her Heroic Stance to a more neutral run. "Anno... I was going to do this whole 'tie them up then dramatically remove their hoods' thing, but..."
Yunomi Stadler	Yunomi glances at The Bubbles, glances down at her arm, and then apologetically tries to rub away the soot from the wall. Inevitably, it makes it worse, and she smears soot over a larger area. She grimmaces, and uses her other hand, and continuously adds soot until it's just a sooty, burnt, slightly discollored mess... and then steps away sheepishly. "It's OK. ... I've seen people like that hanging around before. /That/ is something I'm looking to get to the bottom of it."
Sakura Kinomoto	The Bubbles just facepalms before reverting to her Card form, which Sakura plucks out of the air without looking. "If they used magic to teleport away we might be able to trace where they went?" Sakura offers, slightly uncertainly.
Yunomi Stadler	Yunomi gives a look of embarrassment as The Bubbles reverts back to their card form, and she gives a helpless shrug. "It'd be worth a shot... b ut I've got to notify someone of the incident first... ugh. I hope I can make some really good friends in the Boros..." she mutters to herself, teeters again,and leans back against the wall now that The Bubbles can't see her shameful dirtines!
Sakura Kinomoto	There's a brief pause, before Sakura steps over to Yunomi. "C'mon." She promptly loops one arm behind Yunomi's back, leans down, loops the other around the middle of the tanuki's legs, then promptly picks her up in a bridal carry. Sakura is surprisingly strong! Or she might be using magic to cheat. "No time like the present." And she's off! "...Which way are we going?"
Yunomi Stadler	The other mage gets an annoyed look. "I am not going to be carried into Nivix. That won't do." She jokes. "I just need to rest a minute, that's all." she adds on, arching her back a moment. She smells like burnt fur. Ugh. Terrible smell, worse than wet dog.
Sakura Kinomoto	Sakura grins a bit. "I can just carry you until you're all rested up!" she offers, then sticks her tongue out. "Or maybe I just wanted to hold my dear friend who just got one of her worst fears right to the face."
Yunomi Stadler	Yunomi exhales. "Fire's.... not so bad. Not anymore." she states, and fidgets enough that she lifts herself out of Sakura's grasp, and puts herself on her own two feet, testing the ground first. She begins to walk -- not exactly steady, but she walks. "... did you know, when I joined up with the Izzet, Niv, he had this thing. It was called The Firemind. It linked him personally to all the best and brightest within the guild." she explains. She stretches her arms, folding them in back of her head as she begins the trek to the massive tower of Nivix.
Sakura Kinomoto	Sakura continues to walk close to Yunomi, even as Yunomi gets to her own two feet. As if worried the tanuki might topple and fall over. Ooor maybe she just wants to stick close to Yunomi right now out of generic protectiveness. "Mhm?" is all Sakura says in response, just prompting Yunomi to continue.
Yunomi Stadler	"And I was afraid the first time he showed me it. Terrified. I felt my heart stop. I felt it try to leap right out of my chest because it was /fire/, but it was the most intense, burning fire I'd ever seen... because it was like he was showing me his own mind." Yunomi pauses. "I guess, in a way, he was." she's quiet for a short while as she walks, stretching out her sore, burnt fingers.
Sakura Kinomoto	Yunomi will soon find Sakura's arm reaching around her shoulders sympathetically. The Cardcaptor still doesn't say anything, in case Yunomi has more to say! She doesn't want to ruin the moment.
Yunomi Stadler	Yunomi gives a shrug, even as the girl's arm goes over her shoulders. "But ah, today's not a day to be sad, ne?" she segues, and instead gives her a grin. "You are together again with all your cards. What do you say after I file the report, we head off and grab some eats?"
Sakura Kinomoto	Sakura can't help but grin too. "Sure. Do you mind some of the Cards joining us? I've been wanting to get them out and socialising more now that they're not all so... focused on getting back together~"
Yunomi Stadler	"I don't mind. You know me, they're always welcome." Yunomi gives a grin, teetering again, and leaning slightly on Sakura. "We'll go to this place I know..." she begins, and leads the way back to Nivix -- the whole time, though, she can feel herself being watched.
