Terry McGinnis     On the outskirts of Gotham City, some miles from the warp gate that allows people to come and go within the Multiverse is a lone road that leads out of the city and heading north on that road will take you into woods and out towards other cities north of Gotham. Along this road, is a split that lets you go to an area that allows people to look out over Gotham City but that was before a home was built here, namely Wayne Manor. This is the home of Bruce Wayne, the current president of Wayne Enterprises, or Wayne Powers if you are from the 2040s, and now the once well kept manor is dark and cold, almost ghost lookign due to the growth of plants around it. TO get to the Manor, you must travel a road that takes you to the top of the cliff and ends at a gate that is flanked by an iron and stone fence, while the rest is the cliff, making it hard to get to it.

However, what people do not know, except for four people within the Multiverse, is that under the manor, in the cave system that was found by Bruce when he was young after his parents murder is the legendary Batcave, home to Batman. Entrance to this cave, is hidden and there are only three known ways into it, once via a cloak in the study within the manor, one is a road that deadends at a waterfall and river and the third is a sea entrance to Gotham Bay.

For the three that are coming, Terry sent each of them a device that allows them to contact Batman directly, but upon further inspection, will lead them to the dead end road under the cliff where Wayne Manor is located. Pushing a hidden button on the side, that is set to only reconize the finger-print of those who have the device, will open a hidden entrance that folds out of the cliff face and allow those to travel trough the waterfall into the Batcave.

Inside the cave, is Terry McGinnis, trainign on some robots that are cloaked as current and old batman rogue's and he seems to be busy keeping in shape and for those arriving, they have no idea what is here or within the cave, except The Batman.
Lloyd Irving     Given that Gotham needed a defender at all like Batman, Lloyd hops through the warp gate armed. His traditional sword sheathes are hooked to his belts, though the only thing missing from his travelling ensemble is his distinctive red jacket. Instead he wears a blue windbreaker, which clashes a bit with his red sheathes and boots. Clipped to the front of the breaker is a gold scarf clip, his Device in its idle form. If anyone were to think that the Eternal Swordsman wasn't carrying a plethora of weapons, they would be sorely mistaken. In his left hand he carries the device that Terry had sent him, making his way to the entrance to the Batcave. The dilapidated Wayne Manor seems to give him a bit of pause, but he shakes his head.

If this was an ally's home turf, clearly he knew more than Lloyd did. He breaks into a run to make it to the dead end, seeming incredibly confused as he does. "This seems... off..." he says, then investigates the area a little further. Ah, a button! He reaches over and presses it, keeping the device in his grip in the opposite hand. As the cave open, Lloyd peers inside before heading inside, marvelling at the setup. "Whoa..." he says, voice carrying a bit as the door closes behind him. "This is... incredible...!"
Yuna Kagurazaka It's a lengthy walk from the warpgate by Yuna's normal standards; if it weren't for the locator built (or programmed) into the radio Terry gave her, she might have gotten lost a couple of times en route. "I guess all the trotting around on Equestria doesn't carry over as well when I'm human," the blonde idol says under her breath as she reaches the hidden entrance. She clicks the button; the secret door opens, and Yuna heads inside as well.

The fact that Lloyd got there ahead of her isn't entirely a surprise. "Hey Lloyd," she greets the swordsman.

Then she turns her attention to Terry and his training regimen. She isn't sure at first whether his opponents are robots or puppets or holograms; the sounds of impact suggest that they're one of the first two. Probably robots, she thinks after watching Terry a bit longer. She's more interested in her ally - her teammate - and his training than in taking in the full surroundings.
Terry McGinnis     Terry McGinnis stops his training as Terry shuts off the training robots adn he walks over, grabbing a towel and toweling himself off. He walsk over to the stairs that lead to the Batmobiles, the way in through the waterfall and looks at lloyd and waves, "Hey Lloyd," he states to him as he walks down. "Like I said, welcome to the Batcave," and he grins. "And before you ask, yes there are bats up there, a lot of bats," and he looks to see if anyone else enters and he sees Yuna, "Hey Yuna, See you guys found my hiding spot," he states to her as he walks over to them. "I hope you guys did not get too lost finding me," he comments.
Lloyd Irving     Lloyd chuckles a bit, then turns an offers a nod toward Yuna. "Ah, there you are! Now I would guess we're just waiting on Kyra, huh?" he asks, turning back to Terry. "This is quite the elaborate setup. Clearly the first Batman was prepared for any threat he would face, huh?" He had heard of a Bruce Wayne in passing, knowing the name to be tied to the Batman moniker as well. However, that had been some time ago, and now it seemed the mantle had passed to Terry here. It was quite the legacy to take on at such an age, but Lloyd was no stranger to that. Nor were Yuna or Kyra for that matter for sure. He straightens himself up a bit, smirking slightly.

"I may have come a little overprepared. I wasn't sure if I should expect any trouble getting here or not. Turns out, not," he says, patting the hilts of the Material Blades. Even if he had been attacked, bringing his strongest swords might have been slightly overkill. "So, what are we up to this evening, guys?" he asks after a moment, continuing to take in the surroundings with a sense of wonder.
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna grins sheepishly, holding up the radio that led her here. "You made sure we could find this place, and as long as nobody else gets a hold of these, your secret should be safe with us. Elner came through the warpgate with me but she didn't follow me in," she sidenotes. "As to what we're doing ..."

She puts the radio away, pulling out her Scroll - yes, she got one of the Remnant-made devices. "I was thinking we might want to do a group study session, work on catching up on Remnant-specific stuff that the native students covered before being admitted to Beacon and that we offworlders will draw a blank on. Local history, stuff like that."
Terry McGinnis     Terry McGinnis nods as he looks at Lloyd, "Only thing you really have to worry about are Jokerz, local bike gang that think The Joker is a god and idolize him and the things they do turn from standard pranks to a lot worst," and he shrugs, "Most never come this way, and if they do, they are usually chasing someone or something got their attention and they want it for their own fun or to sale for creds," he mentions a she nods to Yuan, "I like that idea, Weiss gave me a scroll about Dust called 'Dust for Dummies,' and I have read some of it," and he gestures to the landing with the computer as he walks up the steps, "Those radios will let you enter the Batcave and are sync to each of your fingerprints. They can also be used to contact me directly and each other," he adds.

On the landing, the Batcomputer is there, powered up and huge, just like in the cartoons. Across from it is a table that has a few items on it, a belt with pouches, some forearm gauntlets, the gloves lloyd got Terry and other items, "Oh, I love the Shock Glove Lloyd," he mentions as he looks at them. "Good to have as part of the outfit for Beacon," he mentions as he pushes a button on the Batcomputer and a table raises from the floor, "Have a seat," he states as he offers a chair to them.
Lloyd Irving     Lloyd chuckles, shaking his head and running a hand through his hair. "Sounds like some mooks. They can be pretty deadly in a pack, though, so I guess I don't regret my decision I suppose. Considering I'm still working on my Beacon weapon, better safe than sorry." He chuckles, then shrugs. "I was hoping you could use them, given that you don't seem to carry weapons. I thought those would let you fight barehanded, but not, you know?" He smiles, then blinks. Oh right, that Scroll thing. He reaches into his pocket, pulling out the odd device and glancing at it. "I've been studying the book that Yuna sent me. I've learned a lot, but I actually need to get my hands on some Dust to actually work with it. I'd imagine they'd have some on hand at Beacon, right?" With the book in hand, Lloyd has been working feverishly on a weapon to learn while studying. He figured that it might put him on par with the rest of the class, since the Eternal Swords would probably give him way too much power. Besides, if he was going to become a weapon master, he had to shy away from his self-taught sword style. His gift from Terry had helped him narrow down his choices as well, though he was still a little on the fence.

"You know, if my old professor heard that people had gotten me BOOKS for Christmas, she'd probably be shocked so much she couldn't speak! Thank you for those, by the way. The ideas have been turning in my head so rapidly it's hard too keep up!"
Yuna Kagurazaka Mention of the Joker prompts a noticeable shudder from Yuna. "The original was bad enough," she says quietly, "and that might not even have been the same one as in this world."

Fortunately, Terry distracts her by bringing another table out of the floor and offering seats to his guests. Yuna seems grateful to take a seat. "I think they have some Dust supplies for training with," she says to Lloyd, "but 'weapons-grade' Dust is probably going to be just a little harder to come by. There are shops that sell it in the nearby cities, so as long as we have local money it shouldn't be too hard to get some ... theoretically."

She grins at Lloyd. "Let's just say I got thrown back into being a 'student' when some of my friends got worried about me. There's no such thing as a university for the Savior of Light, but Ryudia's been teaching me what she can; when I told her about Beacon she seemed really happy that I'd be in some kind of proper training."
Terry McGinnis     Terry looks and nods, "Yea, I never use weapons, except for Mr. Freeze's Freeze Gun on inque," he states as he remembers that one. "But yea, the Jokerz are the lower end of the trouble in Gotham," he mentions as he sits down. "When I was there, talkign with Ruby, I saw a few shops that sold Dust, so I am sure getting some will not be too hard, and I am sure that what Union creds we have that will probably get converted or exchanged. If it is like the way it was in the 20th century, Then you could take a Dollar and exchange it to the equivilant of whichever country you are going to," and he smiles as he sits down after getting the pamplet/scroll that he got from Weiss.

"I have fought the original, and lets just say I was able to beat him. Well, the reborn Joker of the Original," he mentions. "The Joker took his DNA and placed it on a chip that he put on Robin and over the decades, was able to control Robin and take over, even altering Robins appearance to what the Joker looked like," an dhe shrugs at it. "Gothma City here in th eMultiverse is a mixture of other Gotham Cities form the first Batman time to my time, the 2040s," and he looks around, "All that you see here are from the old Rogues to the ones I have," and he nods towards the giant coin, the t-rex and the other memorabilia items.
Lloyd Irving     Lloyd nods. "I have a little bit of pull on the Multiversal front, plus a bit of credits and Gald behind me. I'd like to do some shopping so I can factor Dust into my next weapon before classes start up. I'd like to have that ready before then, but I might need some help. It's a pretty big project." He smiles, then frowns a bit. "The Joker... yeah, that guy seemed incredibly dangerous. I'm glad you were able to stop his threat before he was able to do much, or so I would guess." He smiles over at Terry, then turns toward Yuna.

"I was never a really good student, unless it was combat, food, or really important things like the Dwarven Vows. Raine hated it, but these days studying is all I seem to do. That and forging, I mean. I never really had any formal combat training, but I don't think I really needed it until I started picking up new weapons. Now some training would be great."
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna looks at Terry, eyebrows raised. "So how did you deal with the Grimm we ran into during the initiation?" she asks, her tone curious and maybe a little amused. "I don't think Grimm are that susceptible to martial arts, so you might have to figure out something that'll suit you. Or," she adds with a wry grin, "you might wind up distracting Grimm while your teammates unload on the monsters ..."

The fact that the Joker could get 'reborn' like that makes the blonde idol shudder again. "If the Joker figures out how to show up again, let me know ... although I'm not sure if that'll be so I can help take him down, or so I can run away as far as possible. - Anyway, Lloyd, I'm glad the book I got you is handy," she says, sounding happy to change the subject again. "I guess it's easier to focus on school when you're learning things that grab your interest!"
Terry McGinnis     Terry McGinnis looks, "If he does, or has, he has not appeared yet, and the Multiverse can pull any version here, so who knows. Same with Batman, any version could appear. But outside of that, I am doing good for whatI do for Gotham," he states to them. "I used my skill and mainly hand to hand, since the Batsuit gives me ten times the normal strength and with it, I can I can lift up to 1700 pounds," he comments on. "On top of the optical cloak that is built in for stealth work." and he smiles.

"Additionally, the batarangs help as I have electrical, exploding and normal and other items I have that can help me. But I do need to learn how to use weapons, incase something comes up. I talked to Ruby and she suggested a staff that doubles as a gun, since some Grimm are tough and punching or kicking is not gonna cut it. Outside of that, I have never used any melee weapons before." and he looks at Lloyd, "Although she did say I should try out all of the weapons at Beacon before deciding on which one to use."
Lloyd Irving     Lloyd smiles softly as the others speak. "Yeah," he says, "When I actually want to learn, I'm pretty good at it. Learning to fight better is always something I'm going to embrace, since it'll help me protect my friends even better than I can now. Not to mention... Well, Colonel and all. I should probably be more active on the frontlines." He sighs a bit. He has a duel approaching, but he doesn't bring that up right now. When Terry turns the conversation, Lloyd nods. "It's true," he says, "You have to try a variety of weapons when you're first learning or your weapon will never feel right in your hands. I picked up a sword when I was young, but it was awkward until I grabbed the second. After that, I grew quickly because having a blade in each hand felt right to me. Even now, I can wield two swords as easily as breathing." He takes a breath, then stops. He blushes slightly, scratching the back of his head.

"S... sorry. I'm a little excitable when it comes to stuff like this..."
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna tries not to giggle at Lloyd's blush. "It's fine, Lloyd, I'm the same way about music and singing sometimes. And a few other things ..."

Polylina comes to mind - and *Yuna* blushes a little before changing the subject (again; she's doing that a lot tonight, isn't she?)

"You could probably get some mileage out of Dust-enhanced Batarangs, then," Yuna suggests to Terry. "And for melee ... well, the first 'rifles' were basically miniature cannons on the end of a stout staff, weren't they? If it were sturdy enough it'd make a good striking weight to boot. Reloading it would be tricky - actually, keeping it loaded when you're swinging the rest of it around would be just as hard ..."

She trails off. "As for me - well, I only had the Matrix Divider to work with when Elner first called me to the role," Yuna says. "I got used to it because I didn't have any other choices, but once I started releasing my partners, they had weapons of their own I could use. And when the Eternal Princess crisis started, I got a totally different set of weapons, but the original Matrix Divider is still pretty flexible when I've got both hands free."
Terry McGinnis     Terry McGinnis nods, "No idea what a Matrix Divider is, but I am sure we will see it after the ceremony next week," he comments ashe grins at Lloyd, "Its fine, I get happy just working, which I think is a bad thing, cause I enjoy the night way more then I should...." and he shrugs as he looks at the info and starts to talk about what is infront of him and what the others have as well. An long night of talking, learning and getting to know each other.
