Chica Mendez     Seattle's Redmond Barrens certainly wasn't the type of place a normal person would want to go. Even during the day, the sheer amount of chip-heads, gangers, killers, thieves, and other assorted ne'er-do-wells made this place far from the the first place a normal person would want to go. Yet, here came a gang of them now.

The warpgate that Chica gave them coordinates for is in a dilapidated building with much of the northern wall fallen off into rubble, giving everyone a nice view of the Barrens and the gleaming skyscrapers far away in Seattle's downtown. The streets and buildings are a mess, of course. It certainly looks like this place was hit by a bomb.

Not long after they arrived, Chica's voice starts coming in through their radios again. "Glad you could make it. You already know what I want, but let me sweeten the deal a bit. Fact of the matter is, the Ancients are what counts for law enforcement around here, and they do a decent job of it. Try to keep their causalties down, and I'll give each of you 2k, plus another 500 each. As for Barry, you can do whatever you like to the bastard. Just make sure he knows this is a message from the Redmond Better Business Bureau."
Alexis Maaka     Seattle huh? Not the kind of place Alexis expected to ever show up to, but business tends to have herself going to various locations. THe warpgate has her arriving by motorcycle, the Knight carrying her towards where Chica wants a meeting. Her bike growls as it stops, the cyborg riding it dressed in a motorcycle suit and tactical gear. Not to be outdone, Alexis dismounts and produces a long coat to wear, her armored coat no less.

"So you want a hit, then? Consider it done. This won't be long." She says calmly, removing her helmet as she waits for others.
Linne Linne arrives, dressed in...well, her usual maid's outfit. She looks /very/ out of place. A human maid, blind going by her cane, in the Redmont Barrens? That's a trouble magnet and robbery target wrapped all up in a nice package. Still, gripping cane in one hand and a broom in the other, she's smiling and whistling a jaunty tune.

"So, how will we know these Ancients? Are they any signs we should know of? Or simply look for the nearest brute on an obnoxious two-wheeled conveyance?" She asks, balancing a small tray on the tip of the broom. It's filled with refreshments. She offers it to others. Some of them might be others' favorites too. Notably, that tray doesn't even wobble as she walks, seemingly unhurried as she listens for signals from the others.
Taylita      After stepping through the warp gate, Taylita takes a look around. Her monkey tail sways slowly as she regards her surroundings. "So...you called us in to deal with a problem, and you don't want the problem hurt? Heh. Irony." she says, smirking lightly. "But, a trained saiyan warrior like myself should be able to handle that pretty easily."

Taylita looks around at the others after that, then blinks as she notices the tray on the broom. "Huh. Thanks." She takes...well, pretty much everything the tray holds. And in less than 30 seconds, they are all gone. She pauses as she is about to eat the last thing, a bacon-wrapped shrimp, then blinks. "Uh...sorry. Did you guys want some?" she asks, holding out the last thing.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa had been to the barrens before on a job, it was sobering seeing this region being such a wasteland. She'd gone to the downtown at Chica's suggestion after getting up an SIN. Given her world didn't have reltions with. She understood the warning she'd been given. Keep her nature on the downlow, she's just try to pass herself off as another street samurai who did a little hacking, well decking on the side.

SHe arrives oout of the gate along side Maaka on her motorcycle of possibly the same make from the looks of it.

"So keep to less lethal or non lethal on the rest? Better to put the fear of God into him than rub him out. It means less potlical fighting in the gang afterwards. At least from my experiance."

She's got that trech coat Alexis gave her on but she's also wearing her form fitting stealth suit under it.

"... Taylita? Been a long time!"

It seems Kotone knows or works with most of the resonders so far as she looks to Linne giving her a greetings as well.

"So we're working together again then?"
Sanary Rondel      Another day, another job. Sanary's not the sort to turn down quick money, especially if it involves violence and an opportunity to beat people up. Redmond Barrens isn't the sort of place the cleric is used to going, but there's opportunities to be had out here.

Mostly involving violence, but still. Arriving at the building on foot, the healer's probably going to stick out like a sore thumb as well. A white coat that's way too clean, carrying two shields on her, wearing an eyepatch, and not a speck of chrome on her? Definitely not a native at all.

Hearing Chica's voice through the radio, Sanary grins slightly as she straps the oval shield to her back, the riot shield still held firmly in hand. "No deaths, then... Perfect. That's just the way I like it, anyway." If only she didn't sound like she was expecting to have fun with that. Getting closer to the two, she raises a hand to the four gathered women before picking up a hunk of cheese for herself. Evolving tastes!

"Been a while, Linne. Hey, Alexis. Taylita. Kotone. You ready to non-fatally bust some heads?"
Chica Mendez     Once everyone is gathered up, Chica takes the time to answer their questions, like a good Johnson should. "The Ancients run this whole area, but their chapter house is about three blocks south and two blocks east. Lots of black and green, their sign is a giant green 'A'. If you see an elf with a black and green mohawk, you're probably close. Also, word of warning--a lot of these guys are Awakened. Mages, adepts, the whole deal. If you get bogged down in a fight, it's probably not going to end well for you."

Almost on que, the sound of motorcycles fills the air--two or three, maybe, echoing amidst the urban canyons. A pair of green and black-clad elves roar past the building. It seems they're heading in the same direction that Chica had described. Down on the road, a lot of it has been blocked off by rubble or warning signs. There's even a couple giant holes that put forth a horrible stench. Their activities aren't going unnoticed; eyes peer out from broken windows and other hidden places, but it seems like they aren't willing to try this group.
Linne People eat! This makes Linne happy. Then Taylita steals it all. /Frown/. It's a 'big sister who is annoyed' look.

"/Do/ show some manners, Miss!" She chides Taylita. Sanary gets a curtsey. "And you, Miss Rondel. I will be relying on you."

She sticks near Sanary. Seeing-eye cleric go!

Then, on the radio, "Understood. Shall we, Ladies?"

She'll start heading right over towards the sound of those two elves zooming by. Quickly. Quick eyes can catch little flashes of black 'heels' seemingly sprouting from the woman's legs to propel her along. Strange! Her aim is to leap in front of one of those two goons, harden her body and have her Stand reach out and pluck one from the bike. To the gangers, it'l look like she's force choking the guy. To those gathered, they'll see a grey hand lifting him up.

"Good evening! I'd like you to give my friends some information please." Cue a slasher smile.
Taylita      Taylita blinks as Kotone calls out, then grins. "Heya Kotone! I see you're doing well. You almost seem like a warrior now." she says, teasing her a bit. She then nods to Sanary. "Non-lethal can be even more fun than lethal sometimes." she says, clenching her fists in anticipation. Until she sees that look from Linne. "Hey! I asked if they wanted some!" she retorts.

Taylita just smirks at Chica's warning. "Only if we don't make it end for them first." she says, then with a sound like a gunshot the saiyan launches forward, catching up to the other motorcyclist. She flies, then spirals in the air before aiming a spin kick at the guy's chest, trying to basically clothesline him off his bike. That big green A makes a good target.
Sanary Rondel      Sanary laughs at Linne's chiding of Taylita, popping the piece of cheese into her mouth and shrugging. "Don't worry, I ate before coming. I'll take care of anyone that gets too close, so stick near me and we'll be good." She pauses briefly to project her voice over the radio in response to Chica, humming for a moment at first. "What kind of magic can we expect, anyway? Explosions, lightning, lasers?"

Upon hearing those motorcycles, she starts to break into a run and powers up the AANS, staggering a bit at the blind maid's sudden show of agility and precision.

That's certainly not going to give her an inferiority complex. No, it's not like she hasn't seen two other blind warriors pull off that level of attack before. Not at all.

At the very least, Sanary can try to not let herself get shown up too much! Finally getting the anklets powered up, she puts in a quick burst of energy to launch herself forward at the remaining biker and... Skids to a stop when Taylita charges right into them.

"Uh... Heh. Good work, you two." The healer straps the riot shield to her arm. "Mind holding one of 'em down for a sec? I'll make sure they don't try and get away."
Alexis Maaka     "Well alright then, this ought to be a short mission." Alexis gives a nod to Sanary, raising an eyebrow at Taylita and the...maid? A fucking MAID? Well she must be some sort of weirdly themed specialist if she has an outfit lie that in the field. Shrugging, she hops back onto her bike before going over non-lethal munitions mentally. Flashbangs, tear gas grenades, a Mikor MGL to deliver them, among other things.

She hops back onto the bike before it roars to life, and drives off. Kotone will follow, she assumes. Everyone basically gets in their first strikes, so all Alexis does is pull up and make herself heard. "WHere's Barry? Tell us, and we'll make this painless."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "Magic users, got it."

Kotone seems to be ready, she's already got her less lethan and non lethal gear with her. She's got her SMG if she /really/ needs it but she's got other options after all. She looks to Snary as shew arrives.

"Sounds good to me sanary and yes I am. Your skills should help keep it from being lethal too."

She's packing some freezer foam thanks to Rory and several other options too she seems ready well enough.

She nods once to Lainne.

"I'm ready to go, they are going to thnk the Furies have kicked down the door on them today."

She gets back on to her bike and boots it back up.

"Well shall we get to it? I got some stuff that should help with this, then Taylita."

Shes heads on ahead thankful that Taylita is on diversion duty, so to speak. Also with Linne on addtional backup and Sanary on heals? This adhock team was turning out pretty well.
Chica Mendez     The two on their bikes wouldn't have known anything was amiss. The day was good, nobody had taken potshots at them, they were on their bikes--nothing should've been wrong. That's when Linne gets involved. When she forms her Stand and holds him, the motorcycle flies out from under him, just barely going past her side before it wobbles and goes down. The other elf was quick to reach back on his bike to pull out a shotgun, but Tayalita's kick sends him flying off his bike as well, the force of the kick leaving him groaning and trying to catch his breath as his bike falls without him.

The caught one struggles against the hand holding his neck, but he manages to spit at Alexis as he gasps in Sperethiel, "Go fuck yourself, chrome cunt, you ain't gonna get shit out of me." It seems he's got a lot more balls then sense.

While everyone focused their attention on the caught fish, the other Ancient was trying to slowly crawl away into one of the many alleys. He's also trying to sub-vocalize a warning through his commlink, trying to alert the rest of the gang--and Barry--about who they'd stumbled upon.
Alexis Maaka     Alexis doesn't so much as blink at the insult. "Your mother's so disappointed." She says dryly, before suddenly she notices the other guy stumbling off. Drawing the Mikor, one-handed no less, she takes aim before firing a single tear gas round at the guy to catch him in the back.

She approaches him with robotic poise, stomping his wrist while he's down as she kneels and growls in his ear. "Your buddy wasn't so cooperative, you might want to reconsider what you're gonna say when I ask the following," She presses down, hard enough to break bone if he doesn't play ball. "Where. Is. Barry?" She draws a Springfield TRP, pressing the gun to the elf's temple as she interrogates.

<Kotone, search his comms.> She messages the other cyborg quickly through neurals.
Taylita      Taylita isn't the kind to kick someone and then forget about them. That's how you get killed in her universe. When the second goon starts trying to crawl away, she leaps up and foreward flips before landing on his back. She doesn't really try to hurt him, she's just reminding him that she is here.

When that tear gass is fired, Taylita leaps away again, then stands tall and looks around, ready for any new goons that might roll in. "So, these guys are supposed to be law enforcement or something? They just seem like a regular biker gang to me. With magic and stuff."
Sanary Rondel      Sanary raises an eyebrow slowly at the caught elf, clicking her tongue in disapproval while approaching him. "Hey. Hey. Did your parents teach you to talk like that?" Not like she's much better, but still. She's got innocent co-workers to watch out for, after all! Innocent co-workers with fouler mouths than herself, but...

Clearing her throat, Sanary withdraws her gunaxe from her waist and presses it towards the captive elf's throat. She doesn't shove it through just yet, however, instead pushing in with just enough force to try and draw blood without cutting anything vital yet.

"Speak up, too. The whole class needs to hear this." She glances over at the fallen elf, then back at the captive one before putting some magical energy into the Fire shell inside the weapon. The axe head heats up rather quickly as the Fire magic activates, potentially searing the blade right into his neck.

All for the sake of getting an answer from the remaining guy, of course.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa brings her cycle to a halt and kicks in it's auto systems as she gets off it. She nods to Linne and goes to check the guy's comm and jack into it remotely if she's able, if not she'll pull a cord out of her neck and use the adaptor on that. She looks to the ganger for a moment. She'll crunch the data as fast as she can, while the others question the ganger.

"You should talk while you can."

PArt of Kotone's stomach churnches but she'd seen how bad things were getting here. Hopefully they can get answers one way or another she'll leave Taylita to get the one whom is trying to flee. Sanary is also turning the screws pretty tight but hopefully they can get the info they need.
Chica Mendez     While the foul-mouthed elf still struggled to free himself, the Ancient who'd tried to take his chance of escape soon learns in no uncertain terms just how bad of a situation he's in. A woman landing on him, a tear gas round to the back, and now Alexis damn near breaking his hand. "Fuck! Fuuuuck! Okay, goddamnit, I'll fucking talk! Stop hurting me!" He's even switched to using English, how nice. "Barry's at the chapter house. It's an old abandoned warehouse we changed to a nightclub."

The other Ancient tries to glare him down, but Sanary's axe at his throat makes him quiet down quickly, glowering at the women around him hatefully.

Despite how shitty the Matrix connection is here, Kotone does manage to get into the elf's commlink. He'd been in the middle of talking when they'd interrupted him, so it seems that Barry is sending out a full patrol--five bikes--to this location to figure out what happened. They'll be en-route soon; it'd probably be best to leave this area and start making their way to the target.
Linne The maid offers the Ancient who breaks down and tells them the location a winning smile. "Good boy. Now was that so difficult? There, there." She takes out a feather duster from somewhere and starts dusting him off, straightening his clothing, and overall looking like an overprotective maid with a client. Once she's sure he's clean and straightened up, she frowns.

"You /really/ should iron your clothes. Here. My card." She tucks a business card in. Professional maid, reasonable rates.

Then she hardens the end of her broom and smacks him on the back of the head to knock him out now that they've got the location.

"Well. Shall we take care of the riff-raff and get going?"
Alexis Maaka     THUNK. Alexis knocks the guy out with a single punch, her shock-gloves zapping the dude to dreamland before she holsters her pistol and returns to her bike. "C'mon, we got a place. The client said we'd get a bonus if we let 'em live, Barry's the only target here." SHe points out, then shrugs at the maid. "I dunno, lay 'em on the side and call a doc? Not like I care, let's just get moving before the reinforcements get here." She says, then begins to drive off.

She begins to head towards the nightclub itself, not wanting to waste any time. Alexis prepares for the worst, thinking she might at least be able to catch these guys off guard if the five more bikers are present along the way.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa cuts the kink and jacks out she's going to launch several small camera drones before calling out.

"Incoming, five bikes inbound."

She warns the rest of the group and is going for her bike.

"I'm with you there Linne." Kotone gets ready to get on her bike.

"I"m on that Maaka."

She's calling said doc after all there was that bonus for not destroying the gang.

With that she follows Alexis but as she does so? Kotone ripples and seems to vanish from view unless your paying really close attention.
Sanary Rondel      "See? That wasn't so hard." Sanary chuckles lightly at the handling of the Ancient actually willing to spill his guts, taking the other one and forcing him to the ground face-down. "Now, you." She pauses, unable to really think of anything witty to say. After a moment, she just gives up on that and just grabs him by the head, scrubbing his face on the ground and... Healing him?

Yep, she's healing him. Rather, she's healing those fresh wounds on his face directly to the pavement, making sure that it'll be incredibly unpleasant to try and actually get up even with assistance. "If you behave, we'll pick you up later. If not... Better hope no cars come this way."

Sanary rejoins the others soon after that, her shields in tow once more. She does seem a little disappointed to not be going right after those reinforcements, but she's not going to jeopardize the others' safety just for the chance to cause even more horrible pain on these bikers.

"Lead the way. I'll watch your backs, or... Hell, point me wherever, and I'll take point." She even wiggles her shields for emphasis! How nice.
Taylita      Taylita is a bit confused as she watches Linne literally dust the guy off. She always thought that was just an expression! "Uh...yeah. Let's get going. The faster we get this done, the less likely it is someone will get seriously hurt." she says. She stretches a bit, then floats up into the air. "Say, are we supposed to hurt Barry, or just convince him to stop bothering people?" she asks once she is hovering above the others.

Once they are on their way, she looks back toward the guy who is now stuck to the pavement before she looks forward again and flies in front of the group toward the warehouse.
Chica Mendez     Linne's actions towards the Ancient earns her a long, utterly confused look. He takes the card, of course, rather hestitantly, but before he can really say anything both Linne and Alexis smack the poor elf with sucker punches that make his lights go out immediately. The other one... doesn't really get anything much better. In fact, as it happens he's yelling and cursing in pain. He struggles initially, but soon just flops down bonelessly, groaning quietly into the pavement. Both are fairly well out of commission.

As they make their way towards the chapter house, the sound of speeding motorcycles fills the air--and almost all of the roads are blocked off, with the Ancients coming east along the only clear route. Chica's voice crackles on the comms again. "You guys are some tough bitches, I'll give you that," she says with some approval. "So I'm going to help you out. You can go and fight these dudes, or you can ditch your bikes in the building on the corner and go upstairs. There's a hole on the second floor, it'll lead you to some back alleys that their bikes can't get into."

Judging from the sound of the motorcycles, they're coming quick. Time to make a choice!
Alexis Maaka     "Not much choice. Let's take the sneaky route." Alexis says, then she points to Taylita. "You, scout from up high. Call targets as you see them and when we need you, do what you can to provide fire support." She says to the Saiyan, knowing her people's combat effectiveness and powersets decently from experience. She gets the feeling the team's gonna need it.

As her bike stops at the building Chica mentions, she stows it and the helmet and sets the vehicle to evasion mode for now as she begins to head up the stairs, drawing her PDW after affixing a suppressor to it. Alexis checks her corners, making hand signals here and there to direct people when to go and when to stay put behind her as she takes point.
Sanary Rondel      "Sneaking? Eh, sure." Sanary raps a knuckle against the large oval shield on her back before moving in with Alexis, waiting for Linne and Kotone first. "I'll keep your backs covered. This way, Linne. Kotone." She can't cover their backs from the front, after all, and it's not like she's going to be all that great for scouting ahead with only the one eye to work with.

No, she's content to act as the plan B. The riot shield is still in one hand, her gunaxe (with the Fire shell swapped out for the Bolt shell) in the other, and she's feeling good and ready for a fight! Or more cruelty, if needed. Either or, really.
Linne "I believe we're to teach Mister Barry a most permanent lesson, Miss...Taylita, was it? Oh, my manners, how awful of me! Please call me Linne, everyone!" Smiiiile!

But then they have things to do! Still, Linne isn't going to take rudeness laying down! On the radio, there's a scandalized huff.

"We are proper Ladies, Miss." She says with a 'tut'. One can almost imagine her holding her nose up at Chica.

Sigh. /Sneaking/. Not her way, but she can try. She follows along as Sanary urges her, remaining behind Alexis. She can't see the signals of course, but that's why she's all but attached herself to Sanary. Should any of those bikers get /too/ close? Well, they likely won't be able to scream when her Stand reaches for their throats, hardening their vocal chords into brass.
Taylita      Taylita blinks at the plan, then huffs softly. "Fine. I guess sneaking is better." She was obviously looking forward to cracking some skulls, but they are supposed to get things done without casualties."

With that, Taylita arcs upward, toning down her aura so she doesn't leave her usual blue trail through the sky. As she flies upward she takes a good look over the area.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa is cloaking in and is going to be sneaky that was her plan all along, she had some plans for the asshole in charge. Well if she got to them first she'll make use of the info Chica's given her and she'll get even more sneaky now. She shifts her movment to try and be more quiet as she moves trying to get deeper into the gang's lair and go after their target.
Chica Mendez     And so they chose to take the stealthy approach. THe building they entered looks like it might've been a mall at some point, though whatever wasn't shuttered was filled with refuse--the trash and the human kind both. When they enter, it doesn't seem like anything notices. The people stuffed in the corners here are too busy dreaming on BTLs to pay them any mind.

As Chica said, there's a huge hole in the wall on the second floor, leading down to a bunch of small alleyways similarly filled with trash and rot. As Talyita made her way into the air, she'd notice that the gangers had gone past their hiding spot and were heading towards where the last two had last made contact. Pretty soon they might have a full alert on their hands.

After a good twenty minutes of walking, the alleyway deposites them behind a huge warehouse building--their target. There's a back door, but it seems to be one of those roll-up metal doors, and three Ancients were guarding it. Two armed with SMGs, the other with... a sword? None of them look very friendly.
Taylita      Taylita spots the gangers going passed the group and grins, then frowns as she realizes the two guys down there could just tell them. She needs to intervene quickly. And, she was supposed to be the big guns. Soooo...

Before the group of gangers can reach their downed comrades, a powerful ki blast falls on them from above, exploding in the middle of their ranks. Taylita flies down to them quickly, looking for all the world like a righteous warrior. "So, you guys think you can just threaten people and no one will do anything? Well, I'm Taylita, and I won't stand for it!" Then, she launches another blast before she flies off, opposite the direction of the rest of the group and away from the two downed gangers. She is hoping she can kite the gang away from both her comrades and their comrades.
Alexis Maaka     Alexis only pays a brief glance to those huddled to themselves, dreaming in cyberspace. It's...disturbingly familiar to be honest. One doesn't need to imagine much how shitty this world is some people just waste away online for some sort of release.

"Let's not stay around here, girls." She mutters, before motioning forwards. Leaping out the hole, she lands in the alleyway with her weapon raised. Alexis is a huntress tonight, stalking through the gutters as she stops just short of directly engaging the guys posted at the warehouse. "Fuck it. Let's knock." She produces a flashbang, before tossing it out at the Ancients' feet, firing a burst at one of the SMG guys.
Linne Through the hole and then into the alleyways they go! Linne looks increasingly distressed, stopping every now and then to broom away some errant piece of trash. Oddly, she doesn't seem to fall behind as if she gets rid of random trash wherever she goes. By the time they're near the building? That part of Redmond is likely cleaner than it's been in decades. One or two BTL-heads even would find tea set out for them, nice and hot. Where she was carrying that tea is best not thought too hard about. Freaky Stand Users.

"Ugh! This place is utterly filthy! It should be wiped off of the map for such disrepair!" She laments quietly to the others.

When Taylita rolls in, the maid offers support. She first goes for one of the SMG-wielding gangsters, using a Stand-leap to leap a good fifteen feet in the air. When she's right above the elf, her dress, legs, and chest turn to hard steel, and then she's crashing right down towards the Ancient feet-first! Should she land, she'll likely leave a small crater from the speed she's falling at combined with her added very heavy weight now. All of this of course /after/ the flashbang. She has sensitive ears.
Sanary Rondel      Keeping one shield braced in front of her as she moves along, Sanary pauses at the sound of Taylita shouting far behind them. "Sounds like she's having fun." A light chuckle escapes the cleric, and then she's back on guard! Spotting those Ancients by the warehouse, however, she slows to a stop and narrows an eye at the group not too far away. Gunners and a guy with a sword.

Clearly, the one with the sword is the biggest threat. Although she doesn't like the idea of getting shot at, she's fairly confident in her ability to keep the gunners' attention between the riot shield and the oval shield on her back.

Thankfully, Alexis' flashbang might just give them the opening they need! Bracing both hands against her shield, the cleric charges out towards the sword-user, trying to just slam right into him and batter him to the ground!
Kotone Yamakawa Given Kotone started out flat out usless to anyone in a combat situation, it has shaped how she the others are going in hot. she's got a few things she can do. She'll press in with the rest and engage melting out of thin air with a freezer foam. The launcher will spray this foam which will haden and trap someone within the strange material. It does not block air but will make talking impossible if their mouths get covered and might make breathing a bit harder. It's also very strong thankfully, Kotone is also inhumanly fast as she starts trying to lock down some of the gang.
Chica Mendez     Suddenly, the streets of Redmond got a lot louder than they'd been a few minutes ago. Taylita's attack on the five gangers comes as a complete surprise. Thankfully, they aren't all bunched together, because they know what explosives can do, but the ki blast manages to unseat two of them while the others come to a screeching halt. They don't really bother with speeches; those still on their bikes draw SMGs and pistols and begin firing on her. One of those who was knocked off the bike has to take a moment to get up, but as soon as he does he's holding his hands together while he mutters. Not long after, a bolt of lightning flies from his hands. Whether or not they hit, the group starts chasing after Taylita.

Funnily enough, Sanary's right. The girl with the sword was the bigger threat, because as the flashbang came in she was moving with supernatural speed, diving away from it while covering her ears and eyes. The other two are hit full on, and one of them gets absolutely DESTROYED by Linne. The other one can only stumble around blindly.

As Sanary charges in, the Ancient girl with the sword opens her eyes and draws her sword immediately and spins around Sanary's charge, her blade flying out to try and cut across the backs of Sanary's knees to cripple her while she tries to make good an escape. She also takes a moment to sub-vocalize a warning to Barry and the gang, until she gets caught in blast of Kotone's foam. Not that they really needed it--from inside comes the sound of crashing and angry yelling. The Ancients certainly knew they were around now.
Alexis Maaka     One more guy to take out. Alexis will handle the stumbling one, and she is /very/ quick to follow up her flashbang by letting loose with fire. Her PDW lets off a cough as it rapidly fires 6mm rounds, a short burst aimed for the Ancient's chest. She doesn't waste ALL of effort just yet on mere fodder, only really giving as much as she needs to take this guy out. Sanary can handle the swordswoman for now. Right?
Taylita      Taylita dodges this way and that as bullets start flying through the air. She is struck by a few of them, but nothing serious. The serious hit comes from the lightning. It is pretty hard to dodge lightning, especially magic lightning. Taylita cries out as the lightning sears her and causes her to spasm.

She starts to fall, but recovers quickly enough. However, beating these guys isn't her objective according to Chica. Instead, she starts firing smaller ki blasts, aimed at their motorcycles. She figures if she can disable their bikes this far from the warehouse, she can go and reinforce the team there and leave these guys high and dry. Without having to maim or kill them.
Linne That Ancient is definitely a problem, but Linne trusts that Sanary can handle it! Instead, she's using her Stand to break through into the building by turning the metal of that door brittle and ripping it away.

"There. A proper entrance.' She offers to the others with a smile.

Should she encounter any Ancients? Her Stand flows out from her body, and starts to punch and kick at them in an elegant dance!

"IRON MAIDEN!" The Stand puts on a lovely, and very painful performance!

"If anyone would like to keep their legs intact, please, lead us to Mister Barry. We have an appointment."
Sanary Rondel      Fighting in the Multiverse for the better part of a year has.. ACtually prepared Sanary for getting caught off guard! Sort of. Although she's not fast enough to avoid getting struck by that sword, she does (barely) manage to swing herself around so that only one leg gets nearly cut in half instead of both! She still lets out a pained cry and topples over, of course, but the good news is that the cut was actually rather clean.

Oddly enough, the cleric actually seems pleased with that little fact. Why? Because it means it'll be easier to heal it back up. However, there's still the one with the sword. Kotone seems to have her trapped in that solid foam stuff, but... Best to be sure she's no longer a threat.

After working her regenerative boosting magic on the leg wound, the cleric pushes herself back up and makes a beeline for the Ancient Adept wad with the gunaxe at the ready. She doesn't chop at it or anything that would make it easier to escape from, though. Instead, she channels magic into the Bolt shell to electrocute the whole thing. She'll try not to kill the Ancient, at least, but she's not making promises.

Afterwards, she'll head back in with her shields to act as the rear guard once more while directing regenerative and restorative spells to Linne, Kotone, and Alexis. Should Taylita return to the group, meanwhile, she'll get a double dose of healing and stamina regeneration just in case!
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa knows the foam will last for about 12 hours or until a counter agent is used that should hold her well enough but she's now going after anyy more Ganges who are remaining up for the moment. The cyborg is quick, it's clear to the locals she's got chrome but the question is /how much/. She's moving but slowing down as it looks like eveyrone else is starting to get an idea it's not a good thing to be fighting.

"Berry's gone too far, you guys haven't make the call that saves your gang and your own asses."

Sanry us proving to be pretty good backup along Linne is just doing a very good reminder of why she's got little issue in the glass forest either. She's also issueing orders to her remote camera drones to cover the building toi keep an eye out for runners.
Chica Mendez     Back with Taylita, the gangers kept following for a couple blocks, but the alert coming from their bosses has them immediately swinging around to go back to home base. Thanks to them removing their attention, she gets a good chance to take out the bikes, causing their riders to hit the ground again. The mage in the group is trying to drag himself away with his leg at an odd angle.

With the three Ancients outside out of commission (shockingly so, in one case), it might come as a surprise that they aren't being fired on yet. That changes the moment that Linne breaks open the door. A hail of bullets comes roaring out from Ancients taking cover behind the bar and tables. Linne's Iron Maiden lessens the storm somewhat, but soon there's yelling from inside. "Spirit! Grab the APDS rounds!" it takes a moment, but soon the booming roar of heavy pistols firing armor piercing sabot rounds fills the air, trying to take down the Iron Maiden.

Barry Solemn River isn't too hard to spot, if they looked in--his wild red hair and the green A tattooed to his face mark him out pretty well. He's also running towards an elevator while the rest of his gang tries to hold back the intruders. "Whoever kills those fucks gets 5k!" He roars over his shoulder as the doors close.
Alexis Maaka     "Five kay? That's embarassing." Alexis actually chuckles as she storms the inside of the building. Linne can handle the bulk of the thugs, while she draws her Milkor again. The grenade launcher thumps repeatedly as tear gas rounds hurdle towards the bar. Before the gas even dissipates, and that will be a while, Alexis charges to flank the enemies after leaping from cover. She goes back to the Springfield as she begins to make her way towards the elevator, aiming at Barry Solemn River before she feels a few rounds catch her in the side. The coat's lined in body armor, but she feels a couple shots get her good as she's knocked off balance, her shot going wide as Barry narrowly gets his head splattered by a .45 round.

No matter. She'll catch up later, for now...

The cyborg flanks the bar, firing her pistol whenever an unlucky Ancient pops his or her head up from cover, enduring the brunt of Alexis Maaka's wrath.
Linne Problem: Stands are linked to their users. Also, armor piercing rounds are great against metal maidens. Those shots go through the arms and legs of the Iron Maiden, and poor Linne's own limbs sport bullet holes where the Maiden was shot.

She screams in pain, and the Stand fades back into her body. Hardening herself, she'll take a shot or two more. At least she's not bleeding, but she'll need some medical help. She leaps behind cover! Then, her stand reaches out for another one of those gun-wielding goons! She'll try to turn the man's arms into nothing but solid iron!
Taylita      "Hah! Take that as a lesson! Stick to maintaining order, not inciting chaos!" Taylita says as she flies passed the gangers and their now useless bikes. As she is passing she fires one more shot at the mage, then her aura flares and she takes off like a shot toward their base.

When she arrives, things are already pretty action-filled! Taylita bursts through the door into where the others are taking fire. "Alright, the calvary is here!" she calls as she comes to a stop and starts bombarding the bar with explosive ki shots before she charges in. She knows they will have to neutralize these guys if they are to catch Barry, so she uses the dust and debris flying from her shots to try and catch the Ancients off guard.

Then, they will find out why Saiyans are considered one of the most dangerous creatures in her universe. Punches, kicks, knees, and ki shots all fly as Taylita tries to go through the enemies quickly and efficiently.
Sanary Rondel      Looks like Sanary's going to be earning her keep tonight! Seeing those wounds pop up in Linne's limbs, she uses the riot shield as cover while heading for that cover the maid's behind to provide yet more cover and a bigger target. "Easy, easy. I gotcha." A quick jolt of regeneration boosting magic, and the rest will be up to the maid's ability to weather the rest!

"You don't have anything stuck in there, right? I'll remove it later if there is." That's the unfortunate truth of healing magic, really, but it's better than the alternative of bleeding out. A combat medic's job is never done, though, as she dashes for Alexis' position next!

Or cheats with the AANS, actually. She's not about to run around like a spry youngster between the shields on her and the leg injury, but she can at least be a bigger, juicier target to draw fire away from her allies. Healing magic is sent Alexis' way as well, and it's.. Well, it's Sanary's turn to take cover when she gets takes a shot to leg.

What is with these guys and leg injuries today, anyway?
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa sighs. "That's it? You really are a cheap skate."

Kotone notes before she readies the freeze foam unit and starts to move in again. She hears teh call of APDS rounds, these guys are fairly well geared all things considered. She's getting how they normally keep the peace and Kotone is trying to chase him down she'll use the foam to disable anyone who gets in her way as she attemps to keep them all tied down. She's got a plan forming and will try to keep a camer after him, she'll feed the date to the rest of the team as she gets it.
Chica Mendez     Unbeknownst to the group or the Ancients that they were fighting, Chica Mendez floated in the Astral Plane, amidst them, watching how everyone moved and acted. Underneath the mystic symbol of her Mentor Spirit covering her face, a small, tight grin is coming to her face. She might've been right to hire these people. Now she had to figure out who was worth contacting again in the future.

The combined assault from Alexis and Taylita is starting to force the entrenched Ancients back, and Linne's strange magic causes the target to scream out in utter horror and agony before falling over from the weight. Those Ancients remaining were trying to find better positions to fire from. A quick look around would indicate that there are civilians here--and some of the Ancients don't seem to mind using them as human shields as they move.

Taylita's entrance was a scary, but there's at least one person that doesn't panic: another mage! Instead of casting spells, however, he ducks down and pulls out a fetish carved from obsidian. A couple quick, muttered words, and suddenly there's a giant Fire spirit in the middle of the dance floor, breathing incredibly hot flames that try to bathe the Saiyan.

Kotone's camera is keeping up with him thus far--he's on the top floor, running for what is probably his office or safe room. That said, any attempt to open the elevator simply doesn't work--seems he shut it down as he was going. THe person responsible for sealing it is a decker not far from the elevator, who immediately tries to start hacking into Kotone's systems.
Taylita      Taylita grins as she downs a couple of Ancients, then blinks in surprise as that fire thing appears on the dance floor. There is a scream of pain as Taylita disappears in a gout of flame.

When it finally passes...Taylita is still there, though she is burned pretty badly over much of her skin. Her face remains mostly untouched thanks to her arms held up in front of it, but that means her forearms are terribly burned. Her teeth clench as she fights against the pain and considers how to fight a fire thing. Her solution? Attack the guy that made the fire thing!

Despite how painful it must be to move, and how her armor is starting to flake away, Taylita charges at the mage. She aims a fist at his face, then a knee at his belly, followed by a powerful backhand to his spine. Each strike she makes she lets out a cry, and not just from the fervor of fighting. She is obviously in a lot of pain, but her training as a warrior and a monk keeps her on her feet.
Linne Oomph! The healing from Sanary has some of her wounds closing!

"Ah...thank you, Sanary, dear. No, they hit my Stand. I will be fine." She still liberally uses Sanary-based shield cover though.

Still, she keeps on dealing with the mooks. Her Stand is liberally punching at those gun-wielding goons, turning anything she touches into metal. Far more carefully this time! Her Stand is striking from the back now!
Alexis Maaka     Alexis goes for the elevator, not wanting to stick around while the target is running. He'll probably dig in and be harder to dislodge the longer the team dicks around here. "Moving now!" She reloads magazines before holstering her sidearm, stopping at the access panel.

She runs a cyber-link with the elevator controls, trying to hack them open.

She's not as accomplished a technical wiz as Kotone, but she has a guy handling this right now.

MEANWHILE: The Spectre's bridge is currently abuzz with Kazuya Harada's dilligent efforts in HACKINNNNG. He gets the call from Maaka, and he pops his knuckles. "Alright, let's get to work." He works his magic on the elevator controls, using Maaka as his proxy link while he relays using her neural systems to access it. He works fast, knowing the time crunch. "C'mon, you bitch...where's the override command in this thing?"
Sanary Rondel      Even after picking herself back up and healing over the bullet wound, Sanary's leg is not feeling great tonight! And with the addition of a Fire spirit to the mix, there's the very likely possibility the whole place could go up in flames.

Good thing the healer's got a (maybe) answer to that. Slipping a beat up smartphone out of an inside pocket, she taps away at the screen rapidly and mutters a brief command into it. "Handle it." Moments later, the air above her shimmers as a giant flying manta comes into existence!

It's also wearing a pretty tiara. Forneus is quite proud of his tiara. Turning towards the Fire spirit, his voice booms it clearly while he hovers with seemingly no effort whatsoever! "You. Join us. We are strong. Your handlers are weaklings."

Sanary, meanwhile, furrows her brow slightly from behind the cover of her shield. "...Good enough." She wasn't planning on Forneus trying the diplomatic route, was she? Either way, it does give her a little extra cover to take potshots at any remaining Ancients with fireballs from her gunaxe!
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa is not about to keep Maaka waiting as she chases after their target. She's however trying to do what she can, to catch up with him. She sees his actions thank to the feed and has an idea. She knows however the Decker who tries to get into Kotone's systems would run into alien OS protecting her systems. The code base isn't quite like anything on Shadow Run earth but it's clearly military spec, very good military spec and he might be careful as it's not the tradtional way of ICE, the thing seems to be some sort of /maze/.

Kotone sees she's got someone trying to hack her, she's prehaps not as skilled as the decker in getting in but she deploys several programs.

She keeps moving knowing time is short and the hacker gets a message.

<<Is fryying your deck and or your brain worth it for this guy?>>

Kotone is also getting ready to possibly cut her connections too if she has to.
Chica Mendez     While the spirit did the work that the mage wanted, it's not really fast enough to stop Taylita from going towards it's summoner. The mage can't really do anything to prevent what was about to happen--he takes the hits like a chump and hits the ground hard. With the guiding presence of the summoner gone, the Fire spirit has time to give Forneus a bemused look until it fades away, returning to the fetish where it is bound.

After all of this fighting, it seems that most of the Ancients are either downed or fleeing for their lives. The decker currently taking on Kotone spares a moment to look around at the nightclub, before simply dropping his deck and raising his hands. "Do what you want. Barry's a cheap fucking slot, anyway." The fight is done.

Alexis and Kaz' struggles against the elevator aren't for naught. It takes a few minutes, but eventually the elevator responds to commands and goes down to the first floor, opening wide for everyone.

Up at the top floor, Kotone's drone would easily lead them to Barry's office. That said, any attempts to open the door earns a shotgun shell through the door at head height. This guy wasn't screwing around, clearly. "Fuck off!"
Alexis Maaka     Alexis is satisfied when the elevator works again. <Nice one, kiddo.> She messages Kotone, and sends a similar message to Kaz before ushering everyone into the elevator. "Move! MOVE MOVE! Skip the fodder for now!"

One boring elevator ride later, Alexis leads the charge to Barry's room, motioning for Linne to use her Stand to bring that door down.

Of course, the buckshot through the door is reason for Alexis to not get greedy, before she motions for Iron Maiden to kick the door down.
Sanary Rondel      That worked better than expected. Forneus gives Sanary a slight shrug if his fins before she unsummons the demon, slipping her phone back into her pocket and heading for the elevator with her shield braced near her head. She'll wait until everyone else is in before getting as well, taking the time they have going up to actually circulate some healing magic around for any lingering wounds.

Boring, but still a useful respite from all the chaos!

Once they're upstairs, Sanary takes a defensive position by the door and keeps her shield ready to minimize any further shots coming their way.
Linne Linne gets in there right beside Maaka as the woman gets in the elevator! Mmm, healing. Sanary gets a good dusting, as does anyone within reach from the maid during the elevator ride. She also humms along with the tune.

And then! She breaches the door. By slamming a foot of Iron Maiden into it, though she catches some shot! More wounds appear on Linne's sides!

And makes that door weight about ten times as much as it did, seeking to slam it into the man and crush his legs!
Kotone Yamakawa Kotoine is moving fast a she replies to the hacker as he lets off, she'll call off her program.

"We're after him. Not the rest of your gang."

That might be heartening to the rest of the gang that these dangerous ladies just want their boss and not them. Given he's a dick. Kotone sprtnts on moving at high speed trying to catch up with Barry, she sees her drone.

"You been a bad man Berry, your gang had a good deal, your clients were happy till you started to get greedy. This is all about your greed man, you only got your lust for power and money to blame for this!"

She's twists but she gets clipped by the shotgun blast, she'd fucked but some of the buckshot had caught her. Thankfully she'd not been hit head on and was still going.

"You got a choice, you can leave the Barrens and never come back. Or you can meet my friends...they don't care as much to make that offer to you."

She may be a bit late in that offer as well Linne is working pretty fast.
Taylita      Taylita has to yell again after laying the smackdown on the mage to keep her pain from overwhelming her, then she starts toward the elevator. She lets out a long breath as Sanary's healing takes effect and some of that seared skin returns to its pristine tanned state.

Linne kicks in the door, Kotone takes a hit, and Taylita uses her saiyan speed to flash step into the room behind Barry. The door would hit just as a powerful grip clutches that shotgun and tries to yank it from his grasp.

Assuming she succeeds in the Terminator-like snatch of the gun, she would give the shotgun a pump then turn it on Barry. "Doesn't matter who sent us." says the fiery-headed Saiyan, smirking as she aims the gun at Barry's head. "What matters is either we can paint the wall with your grey-matter, or you can leave the Barrens and never come back."
Chica Mendez     Barry's response to everyone isn't very encouraging, either--or smart. "Fuck off! Leave me alone!" To him, the door is locked, he had more ammo, and he was pants-wetting terrified. This was probably the best he could give.

When Linne busts down the door with her Stand, it falls down and crushes the one thing Barry had been using for cover--his desk. That done, he's left shivering with wild, wide eyes, holding a trembling aim towards the door. "Fuck! Shit shit shit--fine, fuck! I'll pay you all to leave me the hell alone! Who /sent/ you crazy slots, anyway!?" As he talks, he looks around in vain for some way to escape. Any way that he could just get out. Sadly, the only chance he has is the window.

Suddenly, Taylita was in the room and his gun was gone. Slowly, the ganger drops to his knees, shuddering and shaking. He's crying, even, too hard to even speak anymore. Everyone got to see the awkward sobbing mess.
Linne The blind maid walks forward to the crying, cowering Barry. She overs a warm, seemingly kind smile as she bends down, and gently brushes some dirt from his clothes. She chuckles just a little.

"Shhhh, shhhh! No need to weep, Barry. It will all be over /very/ soon, and everything will be...well, nice and tidy. No crying. Be a good boy."

And then, Iron Maiden's hand reaches from Linne's on to press and then seemingly pass through Barry's chest.

"You see, you have been a very bad boy. And bad boys need to be punished."

Her Stand's hand touches his heart and lungs, and then both clumps of flesh would quickly harden into very, very thin copper. Then, his limbs, too, take on that metallic sheen. He'll be able to breathe, his heart to beat...but too slow. Far too slow. And it's exhausting. Indeed, she'll let him slowly turn to copper. Very, very, very slowly.

"Now use your last moments to think about what you have done, Barry." /Smile/.
Sanary Rondel      Sanary, at least, isn't one to let injuries go unattended even while their target is right in front of them. More regenerative magic keeps flowing from the healer to her partners in... Is this a crime? Well, not like the police were doing anything about it.

"... Yeesh. This is just sad. Uh. Thoughts?" She transmits via the radio and in person, looking over at each of the women in the room before turning back to Barry with an unimpressed stare. She has a few ideas on what to do with him, but... She's curious. She keeps her gunaxe at the ready while aiming her back (and the shield on it) at the door just in case anyone tries coming in after them, watching Linne as she moves over to... Comfort him?

But then what's that Stand doing? It's probably nothing good, but she's /very/ curious after what Linne says. Time to see what comes of that.
Alexis Maaka     "The Better Business Buraeu gives their regards." says Alexis Maaka, as she draws her sidearm once more. "No money you could give us is enough to get rid of the problems you got." She snarls.

Then she raises her pistol, about to put the bastard down before suddenly Linne does a thing.

AND THEN STANDS STOP BEING STUPID TO ALEXIS MAAKA, AND JUMP TO /TERRIFYING./ She actually blinks in surprise at this, yelping as she watches Linne do /that/ to put Barry down. "Oh, Jesus Christ." She groans, averting her eyes when she decides she's seen enough of this. Sanary at least took care of some of her wounds, but a dip with the nanites will be on the agenda tonight, Maaka thinks to herself. That, followed by a very stiff drink and an early night's sleep. "He was already in enough pain as it is." She grunts, holstering her pistol before glancing about. "Well. Guess we're done here, then."

One thing is for sure, no amount of drink is going to help Alexis unsee /that./
Taylita      Taylita lowers the shotgun as Linne moves in toward Barry. It looks like Linne is going to comfort Barry, but then...Taylita recognizes the foreboding words the crazy maid says, and she prepares for the worst. Especially as that Stand reaches -into- Barry apparently without hurting him. When Barry starts to copperfy, Taylita's eyes widen and she turns away. She is an honorable warrior, not a heartless assassin. She wouldn't have killed Barry unless he continued to resist.

"...I guess we are." she says after Maaka, then bends the shotgun in half and tosses it to the side before she makes her way back toward the elevator. Taylita makes a note to herself. Maybe don't take missions like this. They don't go well with her warrior code.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa had given him a chance she was going to let him run. Even some of the others but Linne acted and she wonders about just what sort of life she's leading now. She shakes her head and turns out on Barry. She can't watch, it wasn't about the money, it was never about the money. She saw Barry was turning the region into an even worse place. With that she moves departing to go tend to what's left of the gangers who might need help and they would see she's a bit paled... oh she's going to have to think about things later.
