Alden      Training time! Alden decided to take time and start to really work, after his encounter with the Tyranids, and with the help of Ainsley and Golden, he built a small training area of sorts, it was... rather lacking, a series of hastily, poor quality targets, including some marked area on nearby crystals, a mattress, a punching bag he got somewhere... and nearby, the meat plants from Golden, growing nicely!.

At that moment, he had something in particular to try, "Watch this, Golden!" he says happily, even as he mentally prays it will work. He shuffles his card deck, and fishes a couple of cards. "Digi modify, Matrix evolution!". And before it even has time to work, he tries to slide it again!. As soon as he finishes the second slide, his body glowing, and his form 'shattering' only to be replaced with a fairly larger one, anyone familiar with him, might consider it was his 'garurumon form', and indeed, the overall size and shape was the same!, quadruped wolf... but then the differences start, this wolf seeming more of a robot than a regular creature, with all the armor, the bladed tail, and the missile pods on his shoulders!

When the change finishes, Alden has to catch his breath, "Ok, that worked... now let's see how long I can remain like this while moving around." he muses, starting a slow trot. "What do you think, Golden?"
Golden     Golden had come over to check on how the plants he gave Alden were doing, and after that had been done, he'd wandered over to where Alden was training to watch and offer pointers. "Wow! How does that even work, Alden? Is it like those things that Tatsuto and Hina had?" He says, curious about how the digvices work. If he could find one, maybe it could repair his digicore.
He sets up a crudely stuffed burlap target dummy for Alden, hopping out of the way so the MetalGarurumon could practice a few techniques.
Gaonoir     You would think with all the crystals about to reflect light there wouldn't be much for shadows to slink about in, but Gaonoir manages. Having his own shadow shifting powers probably helps. All the same he's just lurking there watching Alden workout thanks to his own curiousity after the last time they talked and he got to see a small bit of what that device could do. All the same, the jump all the way up to a MetalGarurumon does make his eyes widen a little. Looks like Alden wasn't kidding about that.
Alden      The 'mighty' MetalGarurumon stops its pacing to... itch one ear, destroying pretty much all of his imposing looks. In any case, he turns towards Golden, looking like he was already a bit worn just from the effort of jumping to this stage, "You mean the Digivice?, yeah, I think mine is the version of my universe" he says with a soft wruff, "I was not sure if it might work, first time I do this without my Tamer." he explains, "In my case, I need to use special cards from m yworld... need to find some more soon." he says softly, his tail wagging.

If Golden mentioned any corruption, alden might mention his own damaged core, but that's no the topic. He instead chooses to focus on the target, his gaze glowing a bit, "Let's start then.". He shifts his stance, spreading his legs and focuses, light starting to escape his closed jaws before he opens them, a bright beam of light shooting from it towards the target!. "Cocytus Breath!" The light hits the burlap target, leaving a white cloud on it's path, mist, adn as it fades, the target is frozen solid, not covered in ice, but instead as if it was placed in a freezer for a long time, frozen completely.
Golden     Golden huhs as he taps the dummy. "Nice job! How's your agility, Alden?" He wonders, glancing at the salom-like course off to one side. Mebbe if they put some kind of thingy that whaps a person if they hit the post, it would be a better training course. Reinforcement and such. He hasn't noticed Gaonoir; there's nothing special about Golden's senses or awareness.
Gaonoir "That's one hell of a case of halitosis you've got there," Gaonoir snarks as he finally steps out of the shadows. Or more like seems to part from them, like he had actually somehow been inside the otherwise flat patch of darkness. There's a toothy smirk on the small canine's muzzle. "Guess after what happened with those aliens ya decided to get to the serious training."

He hasn't even looked at the golden mamemon yet. Or maybe just waiting to see what sort of reaction his abrupt appearance makes.
Alden      Alden pants softly, moving to inspect the toy, poking the frozen surface with a paw, and smiles to Golden, "Thanks!." he says happily, "I am kind of unable to use the cards while in this form, no hands." he says with a chuckle, "But there aren't many that might work well at this stage, so I need to get some new ones." he says.

He considered the slalom course for a moment, and takes a few steps towards it when he hears Gaonoir, letting out a yip of surprise!. He also lacks special senses, but he is quite good at tracking things in this form, if he has them in front of him. He chuckles at the snark, "Hey, my breath is minty fresh." he replies, "Ask the target.". Still, he nods a few times at that remark, "Yes, I want to be able to stay like this for a while, if the situation calls for it." he explain, "How are you doing?" he asks casually, before focusing on the course, "I can fly, but not sure how agile I am." he muses, starting to run to the obstacle course, and doing a decent job at weaving, but he does hit a couple of the rods on his way to the end.
Golden     Golden is also taken by surprise at the sudden appearance of a .... black Gaomon. Wait. He'd met a black MachGaogamon once... And that can't really be coincidence since he's only ever seen /one/ black MachGaogamon. So. It's probably Gaonoir. But the fact that one of Yggdrasil's dogs wasn't attacking him on sight means something has changed, a new status quo.
Golden just glances at Gaonoir before watching Alden run the salom. "Did you get exiled too, black dog?"
Gaonoir Gaonoir snorts softly. "Exiled, no." Which is followed by a bit of a shrug. "Just as well could be. I'm 'stuck' on the assignment of watching this world for any -real- threats. Like the Demon Lords." Pause. Another shrug. "I mean other than Beelzebumon, who'd rather just get drunk and fight. The ones that actually want to try and take over, again."
Alden Alden finishes the slalom and takes a break, panting properly now, grumbling as he smacked on a couple more of the posts. He trots back to golden adn the BlackGaomon, trying to hide how worn down he was getting and simply using this as an excuse to take a break. "What brings you here, Gaonoir?" he asks casually, missing the mention of 'exiled' at least for now, that bladed tail wagging behind him. Once close enough, he decides to try something, "Hey Golden, want to fly for a moment?." he asks with a grin, the 'wings' on his shoulders extending... they don't look very winglike, nor powerful, even if they start to glow a bit.
Golden     Golden shudders. "The last time something carried me up into the air... A giant eagle thought I was an egg. No thanks, Alden."
He grabs a smaller training dummy on a stick and waves it around, imitating LordKnightmon's voice. "I'm LordKnightmon and I'm a giant jerk! Whoopwhoopwhoop!" And he twirls the stick as best as he can with his one hand.
Gaonoir Gaonoir just flat out ignores the little puppet show style mockery. Considering he's not sure which member of the court is the one trying to get him to stay out of business back home, he's not inclined to make a pointless scene out of it.

Instead he just pokes the side of Golden's head/body with one gloved finger. "Must of been a dumb bird, you look nothing like a Digitamamon." Then meanders in Alden's direction. "I can take a spin around the sky if you want, kid. I've got plenty of flying experience."
Alden Alden is curious about the name, "LordKnightmon... never heard of him, guess it must be from another world." he says, closest he can think of is Knightmon, and he is quite sure it's not the same. He winces at the story and nods, "Ok Golden." he says, moving to offer a friendly nose on his side, before turning to the puppy. The wings seem to 'rev up', glowing brighter, "Sure, need to learn to carry a passenger." he says happily.
Gaonoir "Besides, if you drop me I can evolve to save myself." Maybe not very reassuring, but he does have a point. Gaonoir jumps up on Alden's back, hooking his legs around the base of the wings and grabbing onto the back of his neck. "Ready when you are."
Alden Alden smiles adn is not really offended by that, "Makes sense." he says softly, his tail wagging as he crouches. The little metal wings flash, and he starts to trot forward, picking up speed and jumping high, launching into the air, starting to fly in swift circles around the area. "Wish I had moving targets in teh air to hit." he says with a chuckle, "Somethign I need to work on." he says.
Golden     "Hey now, even you had to think that was funny." Golden says to Gaonoir. "Yeah, LordKnightmon is from our world. He punched a nice hole in me right before I lit him up with a Gaia Force attack."
Golden waves as Gaonoir and Alden prepare for takeoff. "Watch out for low flying planes."
Gaonoir Gaonoir actually leans over a little to the side to inspect one of Alden's wings. That little energy projector doesn't look like it would be enough to keep an entire digimon in the air, yet here they were. Just another example of digimon giving normal physics the finger one supposes.

Then he turns his attention back to Alden, looking ahead of them. "Target, huh? You mean something like this?" He forms an orb of black of miasma from his shadowplay powers and flings it out in front of Alden.
Alden Alden does not mind the inspection, truth be told, if he had the chance, he'd inspect Black Machgaogamon as well. He simply moves in a circle, moving slowly, making the wings tilt slowly while he moved around, tail twitching behind him. The sight of the orb catches his attention, "Yeah." he yips. He opens his eyes, tracking the target with the laser pointers hidden in his snout, "Let's see... Careful Gaonoir." he murrmurrs, the missile launchers on his shoulders suddenly engaging, releasing one each, which zoom at the target!. The miasma might be untangible, but the MetalGarurumon makes sure the projectiles hit eachother as they 'land' on the target!. The explosion is not too large, but seems relatively powerful.
Gaonoir Gaonoir whistles a bit at the explosions. Even in his flying evolution he was still mainly a melee fighter, as somewhat ironic as that might be. How many people just fly up and PUNCH things out of the air? .... Okay, that's probably not so unusual in the Multiverse. "The last MetalGarurumon I saw could also shoot missiles that froze things too, can you do that?"
Alden Alden is proud to hear that whistle, perhaps a bit silly, but he finds it nice!. The garurumon flies around further, tail twitching as he looks over his shoulder, "Yeah, I can do that, a whole lot of them at the same time, and I can guide them, if the target is in range of my vision." he says happily.
Gaonoir "So your main issue is being able to hold onto the form for a long time." Gaonoir crosses one arm, resting the other elbow on a gloved paw to stroke his chin. "You're also kinda screwed if your paws are bound and can't use your deelybobber to evolve in the first place. Would be nice if you could learn to evolve normally."
Alden Alden nods slowly at the question, Gaonoir might tell that Alden was already starting to streain a bit. "Pretty much." he says softly, moving carefully in circles near Golden, enjoying the flight, "And... yeah... I can kinda force to Garurumon on my own, but..." he says softly. He lets out a soft growl, "I am kind of messed up inside, got a bit too close to being deleted... the digivice healed me but... some parts of my data aren't quite there, digivolving on my own makes me feel... wrong, not sure how to explain it, even glitched a bit... but not too serious."
Gaonoir "Getting beaten within bits of your life can mess things up, yeah." Maybe he notices, because Gaonoir gets up and jumps off Alden's backside. He's briefly engulfed in the swirling shadowy aura, then hoving midair in his higher form as it collapses inward on him again. "If it wasn't for the Dark Digitron being melded to my code I would of been derezzed a long time ago."
Alden Alden nods a few times, and blinks when Gaonoir jumps of his back, "Sorry..." he says, ears drooping a bit as he sees his fellow digimon fly besides him, "I was saved in a similar way... the only reason I can use the digivice on my own is because my core is a bit messed up." he says, slowing down a bit, "I think I will be landing for a bit." he says softly, slowly floating back down.
Gaonoir "I could tell. Cranking out attacks tend to burn energy quicker." Speaking from experience there. Gaonoir drops down as well, coming to a hover just above the other digimon. Casts a look at Alden over the top of his visor. "You've been quiet, goldy."
Golden     Golden has set about adding things to the salom course, mostly extensions so Alden can try flying the salom if he wanted to. He doesn't really have the skill to make moving targets, or he would. "What's there to make noise about?" He says to Gaonoir, voice futzing a bit into a staticky tone.
Alden Alden lands after a moment and streetches his legs, looking up at Gaonoir for a few moments, his breath returning a bit ro normal, and jumps up again, slowly moving to the course, "Great work!" he praises golden, ears flickering at the static noise.
Gaonoir Gaonoir flicks an ear at Golden's voice. "Pff. Bunch of glitchy 'mon, dunno why anyone thought they'd be dangerous." Arguably he's talking about some of the other digimon that have been around that Golden directly. All the same he jet's off into the air. "Yeah, it's great, but it's missing one thing." He grabs onto one of the larger crystal spires sticking out of the ground, and jerks it back and forth a few times. "Yeah, this will do."

Gaonoir drops down to the ground. Cracks cybernetic knuckles, and then hammers a flurry of gauntlet clad punchs into the crystal spire until it starts to crack apart. Then jukes around behind it and spins a roundhouse kick into it with his metallic foot. The crystal busts loose and topples over, landing at the end of the salomn.

Gaonoir jumps up on top of it and dusts his hands together. "If yer gonna learn to fly better, ya gotta learn when to stop at the end too. Trust me, brake by slamming headfirst into a wall ain't pleasant, but it does get the point across if you flub it up."
Golden     "You'd be glitchy too if Program X chewed you up and spit you out." Golden remarks. "Not all of us had the X Antibody to protect us."
Golden just watches Gaonoir put the crystal barrier up at the end of the salom. True, one did need to know when to stop.
Alden Alden blinks a bit as he sees Gaonoir add that lovely wall at the end of the path, and gulps softly, "That's a good idea." he says, trying to look confident, even as he crouches, prepares, and launches forward! He is doing ok!, he only hits a couple of the obstacles!, he is goin gto make it!, he approaches the walls, he tries to stop!, he is doing, he is doing it!. Unfortunately, he is not quite as good at braking, hitting the crystal barrier firmly!, at least he is not too hurt, beyond pawing at his face.
Gaonoir "Didn't think he'd take the braking with his head part literally." Gaonoir chuckles a little as he jumps down from the crystal wall and leans against it instead. He almost points out it wasn't the anitbody that would protected him, but then opts against it. That would probably bring up something else with bad vibes. He seems to have learned when to leave certain things lie as they are.
Golden     "Yeah... guess he's got a lot of work ahead." Golden says as Alden plows headfirst into the barrier.
"Are you alright, Alden?" Golden says to the MetalGarurumon.
Alden Alden seems slightly dazed, a forepaw reaching to rub his muzzle, and turning to face Golden, wait, when did he get a twin?. He spends a moment to focus, tilting his head, "Yes... I am fine you two." he mumbles, shaking his head. "I will have to practice a lot." he says.
Gaonoir "That's why it's called practice." Gaonoir just shrugs a little. "Don't forget, you're not limited to two dimensions when flying. It's surprising how many fliers forget that, and I literally get the drop on them."
Golden     Golden nods to Gaonoir. "Yeah, I admit I was a little guilty of that sometimes. Not looking up, I mean."
