Owner Pose
Yunomi Stadler     SPRING -- it's a city called Leominister, but for some reason it's pronounced Lemon-stir. Yunomi thinks English is a funny language.

She also thinks that sometimes, it's a good thing to get out of the craziness that is Ravnica, especially when a certain basset hound is concerned.

So, jogging with a sweatshirt over a T-shirt, clad in jeans and sandals, there's just a perfectly normal looking Japanese girl, a bright red leash in her hand, and a happy, chunky-legged, floppity-eared and happy basset hound with her. Totally normal. Not an ounce of magic about the dog.

She even has human ears and was lacking her tail as she jogged.
Alden      A weird lizard creature, walking on two legs, wearing a wolf coat on its back is simply walking down the park, exploring and waving to anyone that stops to look at him. The Digimon seems content, enjoying the nice weather, and admiring all the cute pets and animals around, seeing so many friendly creatures is still something new to him. At least he keeps out of the way, doing his best to look harmless!.
Twilight Sparkle      Although she is not out for a jog, the cute little purple unicorn known as Twilight Sparkle is out for a walk. With the warp gates around, it is quite easy to reach an area like Spring, and Twilight is trying to study the phenomenon that allows these plants to stay green and healthy all year round. She has heard from the locals that it is someone or something called the Easter Bunny, but...how does he or she do it? What sort of magic is at work? Is it magic at all?

With a set of magnifying goggles over her eyes, and some sort of gizmo on her back with several spinning wheels and dials, Twilight is just observing at the moment, mostly looking at the ground and the grass through her goggles. "Hmm...I'm not getting much in the way of readings, and this grass seems quite normal..." she is murmuring to herself as she wanders about. Right into the path of the jogging dog and girl.
Inga Freyjasdottir When asking around for a good place to collect wild herbs, Spring was suggested, as things seem to grow here all year. The explaination for such was...dumbfounding, but Inga took the directions all the same and headed over with an empty basket in one hand and her usual staff in the other. She's dressed as she usually is, today wearing a blue overdress pinned at the shoulders with silver brooches, the sleeves of the linen underdress hiked up around her elbows to leave her lower arms free to feel the warm, spring breeze.

She's already picked quite a few things--wild growing chammomile, lavender and white sage--when she comes within view of the inevitable collision between a girl and her pet and.... and....

And a purple pastel unicorn!?

Inga stops, blinks. Blinks again. Boggles.
Yunomi Stadler     Yunomi and Reximus take a corner in the path, and she comes across the gabumon. She tilts her head a moment in greeting to the digimon, and even gives a wave to him before she gives a small 'yeep', narrowly avoiding running over Twilight Sparkle!

Easily, the mage releases the canine's leash, grabs the basset hound (who was friendily trying to get a closer sniff at the gabumon), and vaults over Twilight Sparkle, ending up on her own back, sliding backwards in the grass. THe familiar voice of Yunomi Stadler, Izzet league mage rings out.

"Ah well, that'll teach me to be distracted, ne Reximus?"
Alden      Alden smiles and waves to Yunomi and the cute stubby dog, tempted to try to ask to pet said canine. He has first row view of the almost collision between the human, and a pony!. While not quite as surprised as other people (there are so many weird digimon out there, seriously, it's almost like pokemon at times). He is still surprised to see a little pastel equine nearby. He decides to move closer, blinking at the impressive maneouver from Yunomi. He approaches her, "Are you ok?" he asks, offering a friendly wave to Twilight in the process.
Twilight Sparkle      Twilight, busy with her research, doesn't notice that she has almost been run over until she hears the soft thud of someone landing in the grass and hears Yunomi's voice. She blinks as she lifts her head, then pushes her goggles up before looking around. "Oh! Yunomi! I'm so sorry! I didn't even see you!" she says, hurrying over to make sure Yunomi and Reximus are alright. "Are you two hurt?" she asks worriedly.

She offers a friendly smile to Alden when he waves, but quickly looks back to Yunomi.

Inga likely has even more to boggle at. Not only is it a pastel purple unicorn, but it is talking, moving in rather human ways for a four-legged creature, and has on research gear.
Inga Freyjasdottir Before she quite knows what she's doing, she walks over to the group, recognizing Yunomi at least, though she's considerably more human in appearance than Inga had seen last. "G-good day Yunomi..." she greets, then looks to Twilight. She recognizes the voice. And while Inga had been warned that Twilight was a pony, this was certainly not what she'd pictured. At all. This is obviouly beyond her comprehension. "Hel..lo..." she says, looking like you could knock her over with a small breeze.

Alden gets a look and a blink as well, followed by a nod and an uneasy smile.
Yunomi Stadler     "Hello!" Yunomi says, still on her back. Reximus is all wags and earshakes, first giving friendly tailwags to Twilight, then to Alden, and then to Inga. Yunomi laughs, and gives an embarrassed blush as she sits up. "It's all right, Twilight, I'm fine. Takes more than a tumble over to get me down." she replies, and giving a wave to Inga, she laughs. "Man, all I need is like, Nathan or my dad to show." she jokes, and gives another small wave to the digimon. "Proper introduction time!" she straightens up, even though there's grass sticking out of her hair, "Yunomi Stadler, Izzet league." she grins, and motions to the violet unicorn "Twilight Sparkle, Equestria." she introduces, and then motions to Inga, "Inga, soothsayer and awesome person," and then to the digimon, "and you, little friend?" she inquires, motioning to Alden as she introduces everyone to everyone to alleviate any sort of social awkwardness -- because seriously, there's nothing more awkward than top-over-teakettle over an ally.
Alden Alden can't resist the adorable Reximus, and moves around to try to ffer the canine a hand to sniff, and a ear pet!. He greets the others happily, showing his pearly teeth while that lizard tails of his wags behind him. The introductions are met with a clumsy bow, "Alden!, hmm, Digital world?" he says, trying to think how to call his proper home, he says, rubbing the back of his head, "Nice to meet you Yunomi." he offers, before turning to the purple pony, "Very nice to meet you Twilight." he says happily, taking a moment to admire the purple unicorn, and at last, but not least, turning around to offer the seemingly uneasy Inga a bow as well, "And nice to meet you as well Inga." he offers happily.
Inga Freyjasdottir Inga blinks. Awesome person? Her turn to blush slightly. She clears her throat, pushing past her surprise to be polite. Always, always be polite. This is the Inga way. "Good to see you again Yunomi...ah...pleasure to meet you in person--pony--pony-person," Inga's eyes widen. That didn't go well.

A moment. "You're purple. And for some reason I really want to braid your mane," she blurts out.

Damn it Inga you're suppose to be diginfied! DIGNIFIED!

Right now, stabbing herself to make a hasty escape is seeming awfully appealing.
Twilight Sparkle      Twilight Sparkle blinks as she notices Yunomi is a bit different. "Were...you always this tall?" she asks Yunomi, then smiles as introductions are made and holds out a forehoof to each person as if expecting to shake hands/hooves. "It is wonderful to meet you, Alden and Inga! I am certain I have heard both of you on the communication frequencies, but it is nice to be able to put a face to the voices." she says.

Inga's greeting leaves Twilight blinking a bit, and staring slightly after the sudden admission of girly wishes. But, she smiles a moment later and giggles gently. "Well, perhaps you can if we ever have a spa day or sleepover together." Twilight is blushing a bit herself from all the attention.
Yunomi Stadler     Yunomi gives a grin as everyone's introduced, and just continues to sit there in the grass. At Twilight's question, the five-foot-tall mage glances down at herself, and then glances back up at Twilight. "Oh, no, I used to be quite short." she replies, and then, as if forgetting "oh! And this is Reximus, my dog. Perfectly normal, he's quite friendly." she adds, introducing the pooch to the circle of friends, and he happily snuffles at Alden's hand, and then gives a 'wuff' and tailwags at the attention.
Alden Alden is glad to shake hooves with the pony!, well, using the hand that is not busy giving the adorable Reximus some more pettings, so cuuuute!. He is glad to see there are other shortish creatures around besides himself and Gaonoir!. "I think so!" he says with a grin, before hearing Inga and blinking a few times. He listens curiously for now, not wanting to interrupt the conversation, and joining Yunomi on the ground, looking at Twilight, and back at Inga with a slightly amused expression.
Inga Freyjasdottir Inga shakes...hooves...with Twilight, absolutely mortified. She laughs nervously. "I ah...I apologize. I'd been told you were a horse but...I didn't...quite...picture this correctly I see," she replies.

As for the spa day comment, Inga laughs as her face turns red. Oh, this is just terrible. "Ah yes maybe so--if it were appropriate I mean I don't mean to ...offer insult. I'm simply rather taken off guard," she says, DESPERATELY trying to regather her dignity.

Inga straightens, clears her throat, picking up her basket. "Is this a popular spot to walk then? I've found quite a few useful herbs."
Yunomi Stadler     "It's decently popular. I've done a lot of walking out here hwen I need to clear my head." Yunomi smiles, leaning back on one hand as she scritches at Reximus, who happily bounds in the grass afterwards, rotating between Twilight and Alden, wagging tail and flopping his ears, happy to meet new people. "It's nice out this way because it's not too hot, not too cold, and it's a decent place for flower picking. It reminds me a bit of home." Yunomi replies, and to illustrate, she holds out her hand, and from it a flowering vine climbs, twisting its way nimbly up her fingers before brnaching out with little leaves.
Twilight Sparkle      Twilight happily shakes with Alden and Inga, then nods in agreement with Yunomi. "It is a very nice area. In Equestria it is winter at the moment, and while I do enjoy snow and wintery activities, I was curious what causes an area as large as this to remain so green and temperate all year round. According to the locals, it is a creature known as the Easter Bunny! But, how does he or she do it? Is it magic? Is it technological? Or, is it simply how this area is naturally and this Easter Bunny was given credit long ago, as is often the case with legendary figures?"

Her little scientific tangent over, Twilight reaches a hoof out to give Reximus a friendly petting before blinking as she watches that plant just grow up around Yunomi's finger. "Oh! Did the flower do that on its own, or did you use something on it?" she asks Yunomi.
Alden Alden simply smiles to Inga, "No clue, my first time around here!" he says, happy to offer pets to the dogs, perhaps he just has a fondness for canines because sometimes he turns into one!. In any case, he listens curiously, "All year long?" he asks, "Hmm, sounds like it might take a lot of power to achieve." he muses, rubbing his chin, before noticing the flower display, "That's a nice trick!" he chirps happily.
Inga Freyjasdottir Inga smiles to Yunomi and her growing abilities. "I shall have to have you visit my garden. Indeed, do you know of any other lands where it is currently spring or summer? Wooded areas where I might look for harder to find herbs?" she asks.

To Twilight, she blinks. Then, a grin. "I can see why you and Staren compliemnt each other," she comments. Even if...certain particulars break her brain.

Inga too pays tribute to the dog with petting. Animals generally like her. "I think perhaps I should get another cat or two to keep around the cottage," she muses.
Yunomi Stadler     Yunomi blushes. "I did it." she replies, letting the vine grow from her palm outwards, sporting tiny red flowers, more twisting tendrils as it draws up her arm, and Yunomi eases off the green mana, letting it settle into happy contentment in existence, hanging out rooted around Yunomi's palm. Yunomi gives a wry grin. "It's one of the few powers I retained after losing my homeland to Gohan. Probably because of my strength in 'green mana'." Yunomi explains, "which is the magic that's attached to making things grow, and sometimes healing." she adds.

Reximus pads over to Inga, and flops to his back, begging for bellyrubs.

"Ah... the realm of summer? Cavern of life? The Great Forest? I also do upkeep at the gardens in Dun Realtai."
Twilight Sparkle      "I had heard you were working with other colors of mana now." Twilight comments as she floats a notepad and pencil out of a saddlebag with her magic, her horn glowing a gentle purple as she does. "So, you were originally 'green', as they say in Ravnica?" she says, smiling.

Twilight looks to Alden after that. "It is rather impressive. We Equestrians control our weather, but we have to cycle through four seasons to ensure that the ground and the animals are not put through too much stress." Twilight scribbles down some notes, then hmms. "Cats can be quite relaxing, but also quite nerve-racking. Rarity has a cat named Opalescence that seems to delight in torturing Rarity. Not overly much, but often."
Alden      Alden is situably impressed, "I wish I knew about magic and stuff... perhaps I should try to ask a Wizardmon about such things as mana." he muses, smiling as he hears the explanation, "There isn't anything quite like it where I come from, I mean weather control or such." he muses. "I am still learning about the multiverse so I don't know many places, but sounds like your home might be interesting to see." he tells the pastel pony, his tail wagging slowly. "I take you know about magic and can use it?" he asks curiously, before the topic goes to pets, but Yunomi's gets his attention too, "Something attacked your world and... that affected your powers?"
Inga Freyjasdottir Inga smiles and leans down to provide belly rubs. "Ah, I know you have your greenhouse there, but I did not want to intrude. Did you not know I live there? I have a cottage a bit removed from the village," she informs Yunomi. "I've my own garden, but of course it is winter now, and my stock of herbs is running a bit low."

"Well, cats are ...independant. Which suits me fine," she says with a smile. "We have a cat, but he generally stays at Harry's apartment. I doubt he would much like to travel back and forth," she says thoughtfully.

Inga tilts her head slightly, hearing something over her radio. "Well ah...please do excuse me, I must get going. Seems one of my goats has escaped her pen--again," she sighs. "Have a lovely day, it has been nice speaking with you all," she says, bowing her head slightly before making her exit.
Yunomi Stadler "So, normal cat." Yunomi gives a wry grin to Twilight, and then at Alden's question... she gives a small shrug. "I was tied down to something there. I'm not any more." she explains in the most simple and plain way she can, before she considers. "Well, it's not an exact translation. Shapeshifting is considered 'blue mana' and I'm very versed in it; use of lightning and fire is 'red', and so on. Green and red and blue happen to be where I'm strongest, in that order, even though my shapeshifts are still pretty awesome." she states, and motions to herself, and she gives a nod to Inga. "Safe travels, until we meet again Inga!"
Twilight Sparkle      "It was nice meeting you, Inga! Let me know if you would like to join Rarity and me at the spa one day!" Twilight says, waving goodbye to Inga. Then, she giggles at Yunomi. "I suppose. I have never owned a cat, but from the few I have met it seems as though Opal has a stronger personality than many."

Twilight nods at Alden. "Equestria is quite interesting, even to me. And I live there!" She giggles a bit before listening to the explanation about Yunomi's affinities. "Hmm. If shapeshifting is blue, I suppose I would be at least partially blue were I to be evaluated in such a way. Although it is hard for me to shapeshift, I can alter the shape and composition of objects fairly easily."
Alden Alden is sure to offer Inga a bright grin and a wave, "Take care!" he says, streetching a bit and sitting closer to Twilight, nose twitching gently while he pets the dog again, "I see!, so it's more like something... is missing then, or that you lost your connection to something." he mumbles, "I can understand that." he says softly. The Magic talk makes him tilt his head a bit, "Shapeshifting?, you mean changing forms? that sounds neat." he says, not mentioning he can kinda sorta do that, on some limited extent. His attention returns to Twilight afterwards, "Perhaps i should visit, if you think that I might be welcomed there, don't want to freak out people."
Yunomi Stadler "Yeah, Alden, something like that." Yunomi replies gently, and she glances out over Spring, wistfully, to something so far in the ditance that eyes wouldn't be able to see it, but she knows it just the same. "And yeah! This isn't my natural form. I look very different when I'm not pretending to be a human." she smiles, and she flops backwards onto the grass, heaving a happy sigh. "Equestria's a fun place to visit."
Twilight Sparkle      Twilight nods in agreement with Yunomi. "Sometimes I feel a bit like Equestria's public relations officer, but it really is a wonderful place. Especially compared to some of the other worlds out there." she says to Alden. She smiles as Yunomi flops back in the grass, and she plops down on her belly with a giggle. "I am not very good at pretending to be human. I recently tried going to Alfheim Online, but my natural instincts kept getting in the way. I'm so used to moving on all fours that standing upright felt weird and I kept falling over when my balance was even slightly challenged."
Alden Alden rubs the back of hsi head, "Sorry for that question, I figure I should just visit rather than ask you such questions." he says with a chuckle, realizing he was putting Twilight in a bit of an odd position to talk about her home. He settles on the grass as well, and focuses on petting the dog while watching the others, "Is that so?, makes me wonder what kind of creature you are." he says casually, before adding, "In my case, I am normally like this... or a large... wolf creature, for the most part.". He smiles to Twilight and nods, "Must be really awkward, I considered getting an account there, I managed to slip inside... without one, and got almost attacked, confused with a monster and all."
Yunomi Stadler     "I've switched so much between two and four legs that it doesn't really bother me much; although if I'm sick sometimes I'll be ready for the wrong form." Yunomi replies, and she gives a small, embarrassed laugh. "I'd show you, but... I'm not that much bigger than Reximus in my natural form, so I tend not to leave human form when I'm around dogs. It confuses them." she reaches over and scritches the dog, who happily agrees with a 'wuuf!' and tailwags.
Twilight Sparkle      Twilight giggles a bit at Alden. "Ah...I heard about that. Apparently the regular players of that game take it very seriously, and you could have easily been mistaken for an event which would offer them greater than usual rewards." Twilight shakes her head in amusement at the silliness of being so serious about a game. "I have tried transforming into a human before, when I was trying to help with ALO's predecesor. But, that form was difficult to maintain and took a lot of magic to achieve."
Alden      Alden grins to the pair, enjoying the conversations, "I'd show you one of my other forms, but I am not sure a big wolf appearing out of nowhere is a good idea." he says happily, tempted to pet the cute unicorn, btu focusing on the puppy, "No worries about it Yunomi, was just curiosity." he says happily. He nods a few times, "That is amazing, I mean... being able to control what you turn into." he says softly, smiling, "I am quite sure it's not the same, but I can relate with issues keeping a different.. form, can be quite tiring, at least in my case." he says, "So you met Kirito and his female friend?" he asks, "Been considering getting an account, that place seems interesting." he says softly.
Yunomi Stadler     "Eh, the ALO community has my curiosity, but I've been so busy with Ravnica that I've not had a lot of time to explore it..." she ventures, and then gives a shrug, "besides, why would I play a mage on a computer game when so much needs my real mage skills in Ravnica?" Yunomi asks, and laughs. "I pretend to be a mundane human being to relax.
Twilight Sparkle      The cute unicorn giggles a bit at Yunomi. "That is what I said when I was asked to continue going there even after all of that nastiness was dealt with. I went because Staren wanted me to, and it was rather amazing, but I have so much to study and magic spells to practice." she says before smiling to Alden. "I met Kirito, but I have not actually met Asuna. But, if you have nothing else occupying your time, I would recommend it. It is a very well put together game, and the interface technology allows you to actually -feel- like you are a fairy in a far away land! I could feel with my character's fingers, and felt it if I was touched or the wind blew or...when someone held my hoof. Er..hand."
Alden      Alden chuckles, "I can see how a fantasy like that has not much interest when you can do tons of amazing things yourself on your own home." he says with a grin, smiling to the two and streetching again, "I think i will ask Kirito about obtaining an account." he says softly, "It does sound amazing." he says, rubbing his chin with one hand. His attention returns to the pony at the mention of study, "So you make spells and such?" he asks curiously.
Yunomi Stadler The tanuki mage gives a smile as she looks up from the grass, rubbing the back of her head as the two talk. She watches them with some degree of curiosity before she draws up a rock, tosses it once or twice in her hand, and then tosses it nearby. THe rock turns yellow, mid-air, and bounces. THe basset's attentiong oes to the ball, and he gives a 'wufff!' and then chases it!
Twilight Sparkle      Twilight nods to Alden. "It is apparently my special talent. Most unicorns are limited to a theme in their magic, something like fashion or light and sound generation, but I seem able to use magic without any deference to a particular theme. As such, I spend much of my time studying the efforts of other unicorns like myself that have existed in the past, as well as lessons from my magic teacher. And when I can I experiment with developing new spells. I haven't made an actual unique spell yet, though."

Twilight blinks as she sees Yunomi throw that rock that turns into a ball. "Oh my! You did that so effortlessly! When I try to transform something like that, it takes me several moments and a lot of effort! And, the change is usually not permanent! The object reverts after a short period of time!" Twilight hops up and moves closer to Yunomi. "Do you think you could help with my magic lessons?"
Yunomi Stadler Yunomi pauses, glancing over at Twilight as she listens to the explinaiton of how unicorn magic works in Equestria, and hadn't expected a little transformation to be noticed. She looks surprised, and then glances at the ball as Reximus brings it back, and then back to Twilight Sparkle, embarrassedly. "Well... like you and Rarity and Vinyl Scratch, I sort of have a theme to magic -- in this case, though, tanuki are brilliant shapeshifters, but I can help, if you'd like me to." she gives a small smile, embarrassed. "Shapeshifting is my thing. It takes really no thought for me to even keep this form."
Alden Alden is also amazed, both at the transformation of the stone, and at hearing about how effortlessly it is to the ... Tanuki?. He tilts his head, "What is a tanuki?... oh, wait, is that your true form? I really have to see it sometime." he says with a chuckle, "Wish I was able to do things like that, all I can do is just attack things, and change into a couple of stronger forms, to attack at things better." he says, "I wish my transformations were as easy as those." he grins.

He thinks of something and look sat the pair, "Is there magic to make items appear?" he asks curiously, "I can do that too, to a with some limited items." he explains.
Twilight Sparkle      Twilight smiles happily as Yunomi says she will help. "Ah, I see! But, still, transformations of that kind are difficult to achieve! I didn't see any magical effort at all! You did it as if you were throwing a ball all along." Twilight says, obviously impressed.

She listens to Alden after that. "Warriors are important on many worlds. You should not feel inferior simply because your talent lies in a different area than someone else's." she says, smiling warmly. At his question, Twilight nods. "Of course. Teleportation and conjuration are two such examples of magic that makes objects appear out of seemingly nothing. I have yet to even manage any conjuration, but teleportation allows me to move small objects great distances, or myself short distances."
