Kyra Hyral     The coordinates provided by Kyra lead to a nondescript archepeligo in the Multiverse not really attached to any particular world, having been a piece of the 'super-earth' that was exitant for some time. Many islands make up this area, the majority of them too small to be inhabited but just large enough to support some local wildlife. The spaceship of Kyra-the Rafflesia, has been parked on the shore of one of those, half in the water, half on the sand. The main gangplank has been dropped down, exposing the interior of the fish-shaped ship, which is actually quite large. It looks like Kyra could live on this ship if she felt so inclined.

Kyra herself has put a blanket down on the beach and seated herself upon it. She has a box lunch open next to her, a water bottle, and a multitude of wires, pastes, tools, and parts strewn around her. She seems to be assembling some kind of device. Despite knowing that her patron is coming, she doesn't seem to be stopping her current task.
Yuri Stinson     As usually indicates his Charm-boosted arrival to any location on foot, there's an increase in the breeze and then Yuri is standing almost directly behind her current position. He is wiping his hands with a white towel that has several blurred red smudges on it, "You have requested my counsel, Kyra Hyral, and I have arrived."

"For what do you wish my presence? Will you finally address the tyrant you keep in your company? Or is this for the recent tribute to my concept that you undertook?" He asks her flatly, looking down at her.
Kyra Hyral     Kyra jumps just a little when Yuri elects to appear /behind/ her. She drops the components in her hands and shifts around to look up at Yuri. She sees that towel in his hands and squints. She doesn't ask about it, having a /pretty/ good idea what exactly that was about. Instead, she smoothly answers his question: "Nero? What exactly am I supposed to address? Yeah, she's a tyrant, but an ineffective one. She can claim to rule the multiverse all she wants but that doesn't make it true, just annoying."

She turns around to look up at him, "Well two other things though. I-wait. You knew about that?" she looks surprised, "Did word get out? Does someone else know it was me outside the group? Has someone been talking?"

She grows steadily more panicked with each question.
Yuri Stinson     "You may believe she is an ineffective tyrant, but you should reflect upon how much of your life she has begun to assert control over. It is not kingdoms she topples, but rather your own social network," The Supernal says blandly as he looks at her. He continues wiping his hands with the towel and then answers her next inquiry almost with a hint of humor to his voice.

"You worship rebellion. You are a follower of my teachings. Did you not think an act carried out in my spirit, a tribute given to my existence, would go unnoticed by your patron?" He inquires to her with a bit of curiosity to that humor, "I am aware of all acts undertaken by my followers which pay me tribute. I do not know the specifics, merely that an act occurred which resonated with my concept deeply."
Kyra Hyral     Kyra frowns, "You...think so? I mean, yeah, some of my friends don't like her, but..." She shifts uncomfortably, definitely not liking the sound of it, "..they haven't broken it off with me because of it....but I haven't really...asked. I like having her around because she watches my back."

Still, she does look a little dejected, "Aww. Yeah, I wanted to brag to you about it in person. But you already know so...uh...there was a news report about it. It's easy to find. I let Union command know about what I did-they haven't kicked me out over it though I doubt they'd do that unless they wanted to throw me under the bus and out me to the public at the same time. I guess we can talk about that second thing, then."

She looks up, meeting his eyes, "I want to accept your offer."
Yuri Stinson     "You will need to come to your own decisions on how to address the matter of the would-be tyrant. I cannot give you neutral advice," He replies, looking down at her, "And if you wish detail your actions, I will not stop you. As I said, I only know that an act occurred. But if you reference the news files I believe you do, then I should say you prevent an economic tyrant. Or perhaps delayed them."

He tilts his head and looks down at her, jade gaze meeting hers when she makes so forward a statement, "You have thought it through and reached this decision?" He asks her very forwardly, "And you understand that you will be in debt to me for a request of any nature?" He could grant it right away, but he wants to make sure she is certain. A rare and fleeting personal attachment to someone.
Kyra Hyral     Kyra nods numbly, silently agreeing that Yuri would be rather biased in his opinion of Nero. It wasn't just him that disapproved though-she could tell the dynamic had changed with Dominic when Nero showed up. She'll have to speak with him later...and Landon too, maybe, as he did share in his dislike of tyrants.

"I did. The Zaibatsu's work will destabilize the economy and threaten the government of Ramuh if it continues as this. I fear the strike against the factory was only a delay...there is more work to do. I already have future plans to be enacted extremely soon. Such as tomorrow." she will happily point this out, "I also have proof that the Zaibatsu caused the recent war on my world, likely for their own economic gain as well since they sold their weapons to both sides. But...it was great doing it. I'm looking forward to the future. I hope I can gather more support, though."

She falls silent at him, letting it hang there.

"A request that you have promised won't go against my morals. I think you know me well enough to make that call. So...yes. I need to be strong for the future."
Yuri Stinson     "A request which I said could not be so opposed to your nature that it would be worse than death. And a request which could not be tanamount to suicide. These are the two restrictions, yes." He clarifies to her. It's similar to what she said, but very distinct in its difference.

"If you have evidence, you should give it to proper avenues to undermine the tyranny," He replies simply, even as he slowly raises a hand towards her. The hand rests on top of her head as he stares down at her, "If you are certain in your barter, I will grant you your gift."

His eyes begin to glow and essence surrounds him. The sand of the beach begins to rattle and shake as if a new dominion were being taken. Kyra feels one last chance to accept or deny his offer as he attempts to push deep inside her with his Infernal Powers, towards the Core of her being, and grant her wish.

What he gives her is not power. It is not strength or knowledge, should she accept this deal. What he instills within her is, instead, the capacity to do more. The unallocated experience. The potential for growth. This was what she had requested of him. How she trained it would be her choice, but he would grant it to her.
Kyra Hyral     "We do have evidence. The problem is inaction and finding the right avenue. If my friends and I released it, it'd be easy for them to discredit us. Too easy. The prince might have a better time but....he knows, he's seen what we have, but nothing's been done. I think, ultimately, that's an avenue for someone else not me to take. I am not good at the political stuff. I'm good at doing things, the /action/. I'm not going to wait, I'm going to play to that strength."

Slowly, she nods, "These terms are good, I'll take it."

She waits, feeling and seeing his power build around him, not objecting as his power pushes inside of her. She braces herself. But once he has touched her core and withdrawn, she frowns.

    "I...don't feel any different...?"
Yuri Stinson     "Rebellion is not about abruptly coming into power. It is about the struggle to becomemore. You have asked me to help you become more, and I have done so," Yuri says to her in a patient, if slightly flat, tone, "That is to say that I have given you unutilized potential. The ability to grow into more, should you choose to explore new paths to power."

"I have given you the fuel, but you must find your own spark of revolution. This is your responsibility."
Kyra Hyral     "Uh..." Kyra says slowly, gradually getting the feeling she should at least not insult his 'gift', even if she doesn't really think she was given anything. "Thank you, Yuri. I guess I'll go try some things to see what I can do. Hopefully I'll have the time!" she rubs the back of her head sheepishly, looking at her components around her. "Since I am kinda sorta in the middle of a revolution right now. Or terrorism, according to that news report, ah ha ha ha..."

She looks awkardly up at him. "Thank you, Yuri. You know I've always looked up to you and what you represent."
Yuri Stinson     "It is because you look up to me that I am given power. But it is also because you worship me that I am forced to give you the following advice," He states to her, watching her carefully, "Do not seek to become like me. It is not bad to rebel against injustice, but no one should seek to emulate me fully. You should be careful to balance your rebellion with equal parts restraint. The path of pure rebellion, the path which I walk, leads only to monstrosity and isolation."

"I have given you untapped potential because I wish to see you become more than you are now. Consider carefully how you allocate this growth, what you wish to become, and who you will eventually be," He tells her mildly, albeit with a concerned look to his face, "It is my hope that as you mature you will understand when to break conformity and when to accept being part of a greater whole. And that this potential I have given you will guide you to that."
Kyra Hyral     Now Kyra stands, dusting her hands off on her skirt, still looking up to Yuri to meet his emerald-green eyes. "You're an Exalt, Yuri, and I'm a human. I can't embody a concept like you do and I /do/ know I have limits." Kyra admits, "I don't want to take it to the point where my friends abandon me because I turn into some kind of zealot monster. No offense to you, Yuri. We need a dark hero, and that's you. That's your job. I'm..."

She looks away, "...not sure yet what I am but I hope I'm going to be the one to stop the Zaibatsu from wrecking everything." Kyra looks back to Yuri as he explains his 'gift' again, though that sounds a whole lot like he just told her to 'grow up.' "Untapped potential? So you...changed my Pattern...?"
Yuri Stinson     "Yes and no. All beings have potential, applied energy, and concepts. It is in these things that most of our applied ability is allocated. I have given you the ability to learn new things from outside of that, in a limited capacity. It will require you to choose carefully, and it may or may not fully work. I do not often grant boons and many of my powers are unreliable," He watches down at her.

"In any event, I will hope you find it able to help you."
Kyra Hyral     "Ahh, I see, I understand now." Kyra nods, relaxing just a little. It seemed to convince her she at least didn't just sign a favor away to Yuri for nothing. "Well, good, I like you, but not to the point of slavish devotion. I hope that's not a problem or anything." she says, playing it off to make herself look a bit cooler than she actually is. She smiles a little more warmly after that. "It's okay...my magic is unreliable too. Sometimes it kind of just happens."

She nods her head to him. "Thank you. I hope you found my recent act pleasing to your concept! There will be more tomorrow. And more after that."
