Starbound Flotilla     The airship was clearly put together less for dedicated transport and more for simply having an independent area, one where whatever's aboard could never touch the ground. One assumes this is a matter of safety. For the people aboard? For the people below? That's unclear. It's clear that the Starbound Flotilla is part and parcel of the mad science though; the airships are at least constructed with a lot of their easily recognized materials. And it keeps emitting strange lights, shipping out strange technologies...

They've been easy to see, with a simple set of binoculars, and access to a Sector 13 rooftop. Getting to them probably needs a little work, but it might be possible to sneak aboard as it passes by one of the many tremendous spires, or get her own sneaky vehicle for making her way aboard. As for the Zaibatsu? They've likely already made their way aboard when it docked, or via one of the snazzy Starbound-FUJIN luxury prototype transport Starling shuttles that some might remember from the Expo last year...

As for what lies inside the hull of the slowly drifting craft itself...
Starbound Flotilla     Inside, Moonfin is the one who's set up the lab. It's in a large, isolated space deeper down inside; the vessel isn't actually terribly huge, but it's sized well enough to have a well-furnished interior. He has one large, open interior space specifically available for it; a series of doors circle the chamber, and an odd central pillar shines with bright light. Bright holographic displays show readings and information; the other five Starbounders are in a circle around it, at various workstations, monitoring and operating something.

Moonfin stands at the ready, in front of several bits of rather comfortable blank-looking quick-fabricated furniture. Take a seat; you've been invited by Moonfin to show off the fruits of a very swift bit of manufacturing and research: The DOMAIN CORE project.
Starbound Flotilla     On the outside, there's various docking systems that could be infiltrated, several maint hatches on the sides, an upper deck area that looks like it might access areas meant for actual people, an engine segment that's not too difficult to get into and mess with, and a data transfer segment broadcasting and receiving at the fore end where there might be some points of interest. Getting aboard and getting to where people would like to go probably won't be TOO much of a hassle.
Xiao Li Yu      Xiao was of course, interested in the work of her peers.

As such, she was here, in the lab and seated on a chair, legs crossed and tablet in her hand. Her other swiped across it occasionally. The show had yet to start, as such, she was casually browsing MogNet, purusing image boards and forums, as well as video sites and social media.

No way that nothing bad was going to happen.

     No way.

It was time to relax and see the fruits of the Flotilla's research.

     Of course.
Kyle Katarn     The absolutely unthinkable happened.

It's not the fact Kyle's bothering to go subtle on this, oh no he's done it before plenty of times. So's Jan, who's currently flying the team in via an Imperial shuttle the New Republic had lying around in a hangar someplace.

    The unthinkable thing is...HE SHAVED.

"You look like an entirely different person." Jan did admit, once Kyle put the razor down at last. He's currently just trying to affect his most snooty, nose-upterned face while he adjusts his cap, while the ship lands. "Hello. Hello. /Hello./" He tries to adjust his accent as well, affecting the usual posh Imperial jackboot, looking visibly uncomfortable in his stolen uniform.

Everyone aboard has spare uniforms as well, if they want them. They've been tailored for whatever they need. They also have been encouraged to use their best posh tone for their cover as an Imperial envoy, Confederate-alligned, though whether or not they're from Vader's timeline is vague.
Kyra Hyral     Considerable homework has been done in advance for this mission, piecing together layouts and points of interest on the floating platforms and their strange eminations. Though considerable information could be derived from afar, getting in close and positioning one of the collection devices made via the collaboration between Kyra and Lyria would do a lot more good for Ground Zero.

Once again, Kyra has gone in her full black-matte clothing and face-covering helmet. There is no trace of light on the suit, nor is it shiny in the least bit, meant to blend in as much as possible and not reflect any kind of light. This is beneath the additional uniform that Kyle has provided, albeit with some things to make Kyra look a little taller. It's hot as crazy.

"Today we focus on theft. Property destruction is a /last resort/. The last thing we need to do is take an airship down on top of the city." Her voice is electronic, created via a text to talk program inside her suit since, once again, she is wearing a silencer. Her usual overwhelming magical aura is completely masked by this object at the cost of her magic.
Black Arachnia If anyone gets a close enough look at Black Arachnia to wonder why she's not in the correct uniform, then something has already gone horribly wrong.

The Maximal spy/saboteur is in her spider mode already, and is occupying the ceiling of the main cabin until the shuttle touches down. She's not even bothering with the offered clothing, although she may have scanned a female set so that she can project a reasonably-attired holographic image, should push come to shove. Besides, if she DID wear anything, she wouldn't be able to transform.

Going unseen is kind of her specialty, anyway, so ... whatever schematics they've been able to lay hands on, she's reviewing those and plotting out how to get from various Points A to equally-assorted Points B with a minimum of being detected. If there *are* no schematics, she's going to have to wing it.

And for a Maximal with a flightless alt mode, the prospect of 'winging it' is not something she takes lightly.

Whatever the situation, she's likely not saying much, and not offering any comment at all as to Katarn's beardless visage, or his attempt to look Imperial. Kyra's last-minute briefing is of much more interest to the Maximal spider.
Audrey Stormfist     Though Audrey is neither a nerd nor a scientist, she has interest in seeing the state of projects now and again. Especially something as big as this is supposed to be.

And so the Heritor has found herself alongside Xiao, in her typical KIRIN overcoat, hands behind her back as she patiently awaits Moonfin's demonstration.

Sometimes she forgets that each of those guys are smart, and that there's more to even Moonfin than his swordplay. Thg has, admittedly, always been one of Audrey's primary interests in him. Maybe one of those days they'll actually take a hour off to spar, but time has been a luxury lately. At least, she surmises, odds of the insurgents having the means to strike these ships are low, but it never hurts to have KIRIN in the area. Security across Sector 13 has increased pretty significantly in the last few days.
Sanary Rondel      As with last time, Sanary's on mixed duty! She's monitoring some workers as they go about... Whatever business it is they're doing around the outside. She'll learn what it is eventually! Just not today. Still, just because she doesn't know what the technicalities of they're doing doesn't mean she can't keep an eye out for intruders! At the very least, it looks like they're doing some sort of maintenance work.

<<All clear on my end. Still not sure what's going on here, though. What's all this for, anyway?>> Sanary's voice rings out through the radio while she continues roaming the outer area of the.. Domain Core, was it? <<Looking quiet out here, so we should be alright this time around.>>
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason had also taken a lot more time to get any known safey systems the teams should /leave/ alone. She was learning from the last operation. She'd taken on much the same gear as she had before to hide who she is, though it was generic as she could make it. She nods to Kyra as she makes ready for to go on this run.

<<Stick to code names, we don't want to get revelaed. Look I think tyhis tech is a good things but the company will sit on and control it /forever/ until someone manages to make it open source.>>

She might as well be honest with the others. She checked her gear one last time and the thought to build new marks of drones for Ground Zero Operations is a strong chance, or buying off world ones..
Souji Murasame Souji is in the presentation room with the others, sitting in the front row and looking at his mPad. His hand flicks as he looks through some background research ahead of the presentation. Being the Vice President and bankrolling the Flotilla's research work has its advantages.

He says nothing, intent in his research. Despite recent events, everything is proceeding... mostly as planned. Surely nothing will happen to delay things even further, they're prepared this time.

But are they prepared... enough?
Starbound Flotilla     Moonfin speaks to the group with a true industrialist-researcher's tone: Calm, very slightly smug, a little on the excited side, and angling for something. "You may be aware that the Domain Core project has only been recent. But I can trace its origins to the FUJIN-Starbound Technology Expo." He paces back and forth, showing extravagant footage of it. "Today, we find the culmination of something that began there. That is where Mr. Murasame first took interest in our Structural Cohesion Generators. Now..." He snaps; a segment of the floor rises, some sort of elegant cyberpunk delivery system, and unfolds into a rack full of varied implements. The one that Moonfin chooses is an earpiece, but there's bracelets, chokers, headpieces, all kinds of stuff, pretty much anything you could need. "This, is nothing special. It is a psionic transmitter. It allows for other technology to draw on strength and style of mind."

He taps it; the heavy column that runs up the center of the airship hums with power, and immediately, the group is no longer sitting in the middle of the big round room. The doors are still all there. In fact, they all lead out elsewhere. But rather, they seem to be sitting on a segment of hand-crafted ornate wooden platform, styled in a generically eastern way, bridging above some sort of waterfall below, and pocketed with small carved circles that gently glow. The pillar is the only thing that has remained the same, though it terminates in a shining circle instead of a ceiling now. Above is a clear blue sky, and a tremendously tall tree leans over from a well-forested shore, possibly cultivated for hundreds of years, gently dropping petals. "Please pay no mind to the unusual decor." He says, in a tone that sounds like you definitely should, and appreciate it as the epitome of aesthetic pleasure. "Regard, instead, the nature of the function. As you may know, I am the Flotilla's expert in teleportation technologies. You may be surprised to find that you are now in a craft -- despite the appearance, you are certainly still in just the same airship -- equipped with an extensive internal teleportation system. These two facts hold connection, deep within."

Out where Sanary is, somewhere else, the interior is more like that of an elegant japanese fortress, though the aesthetic influence sort of terminates short of the landing pad. It seems the aesthetic shifts are nothing of substance, but the functional shifts -- the network of teleporters -- are now quite present.

"This is the effect of the Domain Core, under my control. Would one of you perhaps like to volunteer for another demonstration?"
Starbound Flotilla     For those just landing, or those just entering, or generally those outside: The interior of the place lit up like a christmas tree, shining a bright cyan, before it settled down a bit. There's a small waterfall pouring out of the side of the airship that dissipates into an ambiguous mist far below.
Xiao Li Yu      Xiao watched, alongside Audrey, putting her mPad down to listen. Once Moonfin got to the crux of his presentation, she audibly oohed. "...I seeeeee..." She brought a hand to her chin, nodding along curiously. "Interesting! The implications are already flooding my mind!" She exclaimed, looking around to take in the Eastern aesthetic that the room now seemed to have taken on.

Once Moonfin asked if anyone wanted to volunteer for a demonstration, she immediately jumped to her feet, hand raised as if she were in a classroom. "Oh! Me! Me! Pick me!"

     Someone was eager.
Audrey Stormfist     At first one might suspect they'd been teleported; Moonfin's words at the end there certainly imply it. Now Audrey isn't an expert on teleportation, but she's at least a little bit sure if she had been she'd have felt... something? Anything, really. Even just a small lapse of time. The Flotilla's teleportation technology didn't seem so instantaneous that it'd create a perfectly seamless experience, anyway. This implies manipulation of the environment?

The surprised Heritor allows Xiao to volunteer to play with the new toy, largely because her first reaction is to bend down on one knee and touch the ground, as one of her magitech gauntlets retracts from her hand so she can feel the surface and knock on it gently. Is that actually real wood now, or still the steel of the ship?

"You've outdone yourselves. How dangerous can the environment be made? Alteractions are nice, but practical uses might want to include something other than turning steel walls and floors into wood."

More technical questions can surely be handled by Xiao, like energy consumption, installation time and such. Audrey's more interested in the practical aspects right off the bat.
Kyle Katarn     "Whoa." Kyle is so surprised he doesn't even realize he's dropped the accent IMMEDIATELY.

Only for Jan to buzz over comms. "Kyle!" She hisses.

"Oh. Right." NOW he has the accent. "Err. 'Whoa.' Certainly impressive show, this. Those Flotilla fellows certainly know how to set up a presentation." Nice save there, bro.

In any case, 'Lieutenant Jonn Davos' of the Galactic Empire makes his way towards a local officer, whenever he spies on, his walk brisk and businesslike. It's hard to forget the way Imperial officers move, especially in these uncomfortable boots. "Excuse me, do you happen to know where the presenation is being held? We're running a smidge late, as it were."
Sanary Rondel      Listening to Moonfin speaking, Sanary leans against one of the walls facing the landing pad to fix her attention on the broadcast for a moment. She lets out a half-whistle as those pieces appear, an intrigued grin appearing on her face. It's never 'nothing special' when someone says it's nothing special, after all, and she actually jumps a bit when the interior of the airship starts shifting suddenly.

Getting away from the wall she was leaning on, the cleric takes a moment to just rub her eye before looking around. Even with Moonfin's reassurance, the fact that they've gone from airship to... Still technically an airship is completely baffling to her. It's only the fact that the landing pad still looks like it should that she knows she's even in the same flying deathtrap (for better or for worse).

She does look a little disappointed when Moonfin asks for volunteers, though. Not because it's not impressive, but because she's stuck outside! She does keep an eye on the Imperial officer coming in, however, since there's always the chance she'll be able to lead him there personally.
Black Arachnia The 'target' airship is suddenly a lot more interesting than Black Arachnia expected. But the shuttle lands, and Black Arachnia engages her electro-disruptor, stealthing up fully before exiting the shuttle and skittering, as silently as possible, off the landing pad.

Her attention is immediately divided between approximately three areas: check out the demonstration, head to the antenna farm and plant the listening device, or just doing some basic recon to make sure of how likely a robotic spider crawling along the outside of the hull will be to get noticed, and from where.

... that's in increasing order of priority, she quickly reminds herself. Besides, the other members of the team can eavesdrop on the presentation.

The Maximal spider stays stealthed up for now, picking her way towards the antenna farm from the landing pad; as she goes, she's doing a general observation of the area and the other ships, trying to determine where and when she can safely cut stealth. The electro-disruptor won't work indefinitely, after all.
Starbound Flotilla     Moonfin grins, smugly. Xiao Li was the first to speak up, so she'd get one. He stands to the side of the delivery rack -- now turned into some brand of heavy wood weapons-rack-like setup. "Certainly, Ms. Yu. Please, take something that suits your fancy; I will relinquish control shortly." Then he turns to Audrey. "Ah, but you see, that is the beauty of the matter. What can be done? Why, anything that /I/ can do. Teleportation and swordsmanship are my specialty. As such: What the Domain Core does is make those the tools of the environment as well."

While Xiao Li Yu is grabbing something, he turns, and gestures to the water below one of the various doors here. He grunts with some mental effort, showing that he has EXPENDED FOCUS in order to create an effect. It looks like something that'd be hard to do in the middle of combat, but unbothered as he is right now it's not too much trouble. The bridge falls, and from below, a series of stylishly carved platforms rises. "You speak of defenses and of danger; I offer you exactly what you seek. A dynamic defense, an expression of your purest, most deep skills." A tremendous squatic creature leaps out of the water between the platforms, its head bristling with heavy blades. The elegant wooden platforms themselves hum with unavoidable teleporters. It would be a hell of a gauntlet to navigate.

"The defenses and dangers available to you are yours to know; each is a sign of your powers. So, too, are the functions. From here, now, I may access any wing of the craft. Were a healer to take this, they might offer balm to anyone aboard, anywhere. Were a craftsman to take this, they might prototype or manufacture vast machines in an instant. You see, this is not merely a defense. This is an appliance meant to form the very beating heart of every facility of note from here to the farthest plates, and turn each into an intimate display of their owner."
Kyra Hyral     The disguised Kyra moves alongside Not-Kyle, silent and clearly just a normal stormtrooper, although a slightly much shorter one. Good thing Vader isn't around here or else that might be a dead giveaway of the disguise. Unlike most stormtroopers, she isn't visibly armed either-then again, why would one need to be armed now during a friendly visit? It does have a blaster, strapped to a thigh, but the weapon is not held at the ready as she follows Kyle around.

As she does, she looks around subtly, recording the interior of the ship with a camera built in to her suit-it's a camera that is not running off of Galianda magitech but off-world technology. It's battery powered, not MP-powered, so Kyra's Silence has no effect on it.
Xiao Li Yu      "Woo hoo!"

Hopping out of the seats, Xiao made her way to the delivery rack, persuing the various forms the device took. "My arms are already full, as are my legs...let's go with this!" She picked up a choker, looking it over for a moment before fastening it around her neck.

"Okay! Now what?" So eager, this one.
Starbound Flotilla     Kyle and Kyra are now standing in the middle of some kind of hallway that comes right out of a japanese fortress. This place, despite being fortified, is /elegant as heck/. Thankfully, the KIRIN soldier doesn't seem to be changed, though one guesses maybe that's a feature the Starbounders will figure out another time. The Starbounders have furnished them with some very light versions of their Spellsword equipment, which means they get some melee gear and what looks like a suit of partially powered armor, covered in an odd, shimering ferrofluid-like substance.

The radio-processed voice of the blank-helmed KIRIN fellow that Kyle gets ahold of seems to be following some high-security orders. Someone late? Get someone higher on the food chain to process them, no easy passage. "Lieutenant Davos? Alright. Late attendees will need an Elite escort. Rondel will take you." He gets on his own radio. "Rondel, we've got a Lt. Davos plus one from the Galactic Empire. Please come assess and see them to the presentation."
Audrey Stormfist     "Thorough," Audrey notes, rising to watch Moonfin as he explains. So his specialties have become the area's? That's going to put a new meaning in the phrase 'be careful who you hire'. But not in a bad way. A new age of technology where specialists can shine even brighter than before in their fields. From a tactical standpoint that's countless advantages.

She watches the appearance of the sword-headed creature and the effort needed to alter the area. It brings to mind one very obvious question, really.

"So you're tapping into the camera network as well? Doesn't that leave a critical design hole? Without eyes, you can't control everything. Then... to find and destroy cameras would be an intruder's primary concern, wouldn't it?"

But she's guessing. Maybe Moonfin is actually PART of the ship for all she knows, right now-- that level of technology isn't something she could just guess on a whim, though, and so she resorts to what she thinks the most obvious way to keep an eye on a facility would be.
Kyle Katarn     Excellent. The disguise is going well.

Thankfully NotKyle keeps up the charade as he nods to the soldier. "Splendid. I was quite excited when I was approved on this assignment, it's good to know the Empire's new allies are busy at work as always." He smiles, showing white teeth as he awaits Ms. Rondel's arrival.

So far, so good. This might end up going smooth.
Kyra Hyral     This is not what the interior of an airship should look like, Kyra realizes, as she records their environs. Though Souji does have loads of money and loads of pretentsion, he's not THAT into the style of the Zaibatsu to recreate it so lovingly within one of his airships. Something was definitely up. Inwardly, she's pleased when 'Davos' gets them into the audience and demonstration that they really need to see-because whatever was going on in the ship needed to be known.

She doesn't even tense up when Sanary's name is mentioned. She's calm and cool, completely indifferent to the other people around her.
Lyria Mason There was a second storm trooper who was lagging a bit behind tapping on the side of their helmet. It seems they had a mic issue of some sort. EIther way the trooper sems to get it done as they catch up with the other Imperials they fall in and give off an air of uneasy, namely due to how much trouble they'd be in for being late, or so it seems. Meanwhile Lyria has to admit the armor isn't bad /for/ what it is. They just seem to be a trooper who got this detail at the last moment and is well concerned about messing up. Given the brething issues Imperial personel are known to come down with at times.
Sanary Rondel      "Understood. I'm on my way over now." That worked out as well as expected! Approaching 'Davos' and the Stormtrooper, Sanary offers the two a practiced salute before smiling politely. "Captain Rondel. A pleasure to meet you, Lieutenant Davos. Sir. If you'd follow me to the presentation, then?" She gestures towards the interior of the ship, eyeing that division between the landing pad and the Japanese interior before starting to walk. She's there to lead them, after all, and lead she shall!

They might even notice that she does look a little excited herself.
Starbound Flotilla     Black Arachnia making her way on the exterior is going to find some some unusual things... There's little internal streams, strangely eastern-feudal emplacements, things like that. Looks like this demonstration finally tore it; the changes have very lightly breached the exterior. External cameras and sensors are running in consistent patterns, sweeping all around the side hull. BA will need to do some thinking, some looking, and some deft maneuvering to not get caught between the vision cones, the motion sensors, and other similar suchlike... Or perhaps she has other more direct forms of sabotage? The array is strong, but it's likely that Black Arachnia is stronger, when it comes to deception.
Kyle Katarn     "Excellent. Good day to you, Captain Rondel." 'Davos' shakes hands with Sanary before he motions to his bodyguards, two Stormtroopers come as plus-ones. "I've heard great things about what's to come, Mr. Moonfin's work is as I am told quite shows some of the brightest of technological minds in the Multiverse." He says, all pomp and circumstance as he follows her along, motioning for the Stormtroopers to follow.
Black Arachnia To a degree, deep in her Spark, Black Arachnia approves of the level of paranoia embodied in the ship's external security around the antenna farm.

Of course, that doesn't make it any less annoying when this represents a maze that she has to negotiate to accomplish her objective. But she can deal with this ... probably. The network has to have some kind of wired connection to the main sensor grid, and/or to whatever or whomever is monitoring for signs of intruders. And given the stormtroopers she spotted, she's thinking back on her prior encounter(s) with Galactic Empire technology ...

First things first: she ducks out of view of the surveillance grid and disengages the electro-disruptor, so it can start 'recharging' for when she needs it again. She's also scanning the hull for wires that are more likely to be carrying data than power - something that she can conceivably tap into and start hacking. Why bother picking her way through a maze that's constantly in motion, if she can just circumvent the monitoring long enough to get in and out?
Starbound Flotilla     "Now, I relinquish my control over the Domain; it passes, simply, to the one I will it to, or in a case of contest, to those with the most force of will and conflict momentum." Moonfin says, bowing to Xiao Li Yu. The light at his earpiece fizzles, and the light on Xiao Li's choker lights up.

The entire environment flickers again. The stylish, ornate wood, and the elegantly eastern landscape, are all gone, as are the defenses and the teleporters. Now, suddenly, an entirely new environment is found. Much more claustrophobic, the inside has a feeling of industrially prototyped haphazardness; it feels freshly engineered, and comes with bare wires and pipes. Sprinkled around the walls and the floors are heavy steel drum-like shapes. Irregularly, they "bloom" like flowers, revealing an array of fast-fabrication tools that might lash out and try to weld someone's arm off, or quickly craft a dangerous robotic assailant. Power conduits glow and hum; Xiao Li Yu's favored electricity can be sent along them or sustained along them with a thought... As well as the darker energies that are used a tad more rarely.

Scattered around are various medical facilities as well; large vats where biochemical development can be done, or is even being done now, automated medical devices meant to quickly amputate things just as much as they're meant to heal wounds, with large metal arms about as ready to lash out at a passerby as they are anything else. And of course, tremendous server racks stuffed full of space for digital information. It's the perfect bed of experimentation and knowledge-gathering, even if maybe the lighting could be a little better and it's sort of an OSHA nightmare.

This same aesthetic change happens instantly while Sanary is bringing Not-Kyle and his Not-Rebels with him. It's a LITTLE disorienting, but it demonstrates that the rough layout and function of the areas stays the same. A hallway is a hallway, and it still leads mostly to the presentation room.
Sanary Rondel      "You've heard, too?" Sanary raises an eyebrow as Kyle speaks, almost looking as if there's something suspicious about him. After giving him a brief once over, however, she starts chuckling lightly. "Yeah, it's some impressive stuff. Not that I really understand how it works, though." The cleric gives a small shrug, the resumes navigating the hallways of the castle-ship without spending too much time gawking at things.

"<<Rondel here. I'm bringing Lieutenant Davos and three others with him now.>>" That transmission complete, she keeps moving along and eventually motions at 'Davos' to come closer. while glancing back at the stormtroopers with them and making sure they're not getting too close. "So. You three got any names? We've still got a bit of ways to go, so-" She holds her hand out suddenly when the environment changes, remaining almost completely still until it finally finishes. "-... Uh. Guess that's normal here, then."

A little freaked out, but her pants are clean!
Starbound Flotilla     "Ahhh, unfortunately, perception and awareness are not my specialities. You see, Seft, one of my fellow Captains," Moonfin says to Audrey, and gestures to Seft. "Is our sensor operator. Increased environmental awareness of the sort you seek, comes from her. When she tests these systems, the density of sensors increases. I believe even more skilled specialists might even have universal awareness of what transpires within their Domain. A scrying specialist, a radar specialist, a sensor specialist; those of this nature would find their success take the form of such awareness."

"If you seek to fortify your Domain, it is best to do so ahead of time; dynamically shifting the environment around an intruder requires much focus, and perhaps even a degree of specialization in mental flexibility. A fixed defense, formed ahead of time, is universally accessible to any Commander of a Domain."
Kyra Hyral     Not-Kyra the stormtrooper follows, still recording everything that they pass. She's still very carefully not reacting to being so close to Sanary though she's growing progressively more worried now that she knows there are a few Elites here-potentially the whole Flotilla at that AND Sanary.

She's definitely taken aback, however, once they enter the demonstration area and she catches it in mid transformation as it slides into something more fitting to Xiao's liking. Her mouth makes a soundless motion of awe-unseen of course-as she realizes the extent of what these big MP batteries can do. She wonders if they can recreate the effect with the one she stole. She wonders /why/ they would make this kind of thing to begin with.

"JD-406." is the answer Sanary receives as far as names go.
Kyle Katarn     "I was briefed broadly." 'Jonn' says calmly. He's lying through his teeth, but it's convincing enough to pass most. He shrugs. "Jonn. Two ns." Otherwise, he seems more antsy to get to the presentation itself, until it apparently comes to /them/ instead.

Jonn blinks underneath his cap, looking around in mild, disguised surprise as the enviroment shifts around them. "My word."

    /This/ is definitely unexpected.
Xiao Li Yu      And then the environment shifts. The layout stays mostly the same, but the aesthetics were completely different. "Ooooh!" And like a kid in a candy story, Xiao bounded off to have a look around her 'domain'. "This is quite something! Look at all of these facilities!" She exclaimed in an all too excited manner, spreading her arms as she plodded about.

"Imagine if I could feasibly have all of these fixtures in my current laboratory! Ehehehe, oh, all the work that could get done. All the dissection. All the vivisec-" Pause. "-I mean, AHEM. Yes! This is very nice, Moonfin! I'm definitely pleased! So is this technology completely ready to roll out? Or are there still kinks to work out?"

Don't let her get her hands on one.

     Ever.
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason does not talk but the Stormtrooper clearly is paying attention to what's going on? Looks like they grabbed someone who had a tech secondary skill set. If only they could fix the the blaster issue, seriously the sights on those things. The trooper however seems to be polite enough to give a repsectful node to the big wigs such as sanary. The trooper pauses.

"TK-421 here, this ... work is impressive. To think a single planet could pull things off like this."
Sanary Rondel      "That's.. Oh." Sanary frowns a bit at the not-names given to her, but she's not about to question the wisdom of their parents right in front of them. That'd just be rude. "Well, they're a... Names. Just up to you two to make something of 'em." She offers JD and TK an encouraging grin (did she wink, too?), then continues onwards with the small gathering once more! "Well, we've got a couple of people from different places working on this. Not really sure what planet Moonfin's from, though." Moving in closer to 'Jonn Davos', she glances back at the troopers before leaning in to whisper.

"... You're trying too hard. It's obvious you're faking it." She waits a moment to let that sink in before breaking into another grin. "Loosen up a bit. We're not gonna bite your head off for not sounding like you've got a stick up your ass." Straightening back up, it probably won't take too much longer for them to reach the demonstration area proper, and Sanary clears her throat before calling out to the gathered Zaibatsu members in the presentation area.

"Lieutenant Jonn Davos, JD-406, and TK-421, present!" Even she can sound like she's got half a stick up her ass sometimes.
Audrey Stormfist     "I see. So the user only controls the environment in the sense they may prepare it, but it isn't perfectly and swiftly adaptable or self-aware unless such is within the controller's defining aspects." Audrey gets the gist of it; it makes sense, even if it's an unfortunate limitation.

But when your gun shoots black holes, only being able to shoot once every five minutes is only a limitation if you're incompetent with your one shot. So really, this isn't that much of an issue. She's impressed, that's for sure, and she doesn't really hide it.

Then the area changes to one of Xiao's design. Luckily, Audrey isn't creeped out by the claustrophobic nature of containment and lab areas, since she spends so much time around them. This is a fair bit heavier than the usual lab, but anyone who knows the mad scientist currently in control kind of would have expected this.

"It's unfortunate mister Murasame couldn't make it, he would have been impressed. I shudder to think what would happen to Ramuh if we left it under your control for but a day. I trust this Domain Core technology's plans will notbe publicly available?" Gotta protect their interests, after all. This is a BIG deal, and another stepping stone for Souji.

The Heritor turns to look at Sanary as she arrives with, seemingly, two Stormtroopers and an officer. "Lord Vader didn't warn we'd be receiving envoys. This is an unexpected surprise."

One tends not to doubt these things too much. Vader doesn't seem to enjoy being questioned very much.
Starbound Flotilla     BA finds an access point! However, one particularly notable factor of this is that when she plugs in, it's like accessing one system... And then when the environment changes, so, too, does the system! Both of them, for her robotic hacking processes and "mind", felt like two different sets of "neurological" or "living" systems. Under Moonfin's control, the first was quite vulnerable to hacking. However, Xiao Li Yu vastly outpaces his skill in terms of digital abilities! Recent work with ADAM, presumably. It might catch her off-guard and get an alert out if she's not INCREDIBLY careful!! And it'll certainly help if she can call over and get someone else to demonstrate Commanding for a bit, someone with less potent digital power!

But, she's able to get the sensor array offline, or at least make a path over to the antenna nest. She'll have a clear shot! She might want to leave a hacking transmitter, though, Xiao Li Yu's injected brand of digital defenses might find her tracks if she doesn't find a way of covering them.
Kyle Katarn     "Decorum requires them to go by assigned numbers." Jonn explains, before he regards Sanary with confusion. He's almost certain she's seeing through it before she goes off on another assumption, blinking again. Tilting his head, he just clears his throat before moving along. Awkward.

"Change of plans, this is something of a last-minute decision. He personally ordered my commander to send over at least an inspection crew." He explains to Audrey, once the trio makes it there. "Lieutenant Jonn Davos, of the Enduring." He salutes crisply, before clicking his heels. "I apologize for the surprise, but we figured a group this small would be less of an inconvience." THe Empire being small and restrained for once? That's definitely weird, but Vader tends to be a man who you don't question lightly.
Audrey Stormfist     Audrey raises a brow, but doesn't say anything.

Vader, worried about being an inconvenience? Yeah, THAT is weird. The man just sort of imposed himself, in all interactions. God help you if you messed with his plans. His Battle Meditation was pretty handy, if invasive and a bit of a headache-giver.

"Hopefully you find everything here to your liking, then, sir. We would both be very displeased if you had to bring bad news back to Lord Vader." Oh, right, introductions. "Audrey Stormfist, KIRIN supervisor. In a sense, mister Murasame's right-hand, but only unofficially."
Souji Murasame Souji's been listening and watching this presentation the entire time. He looks quite pleased at the effects of the quick construction and methodology of the DOMAIN CORE system. "This will prove exceptionally useful in the near future." Souji comments, actually smiling faintly. "Again, I am astonished at the results you can achieve." The arrival of the other 'observers' causes a moment's pause. He turns, looking at them with a silent gaze for several, tense moments...

And then he looks back. Stormfist is checking the guest list.
Kyle Katarn     Hands are shaken, and the Lieutenant smiles politely. "I see. Much has been told regarding the company's actions and resources, much of it quite positive. We at the Empire certainly respect the amount of infastructure you've been able to establish in so little time since unification."

His eyes glance over to Mr. Mursame himself, offering a nod of respect to the young man before he observes the construction of the DOMAIN CORE. "Incredible. The potential of this is simply, dare I say it, limitless." He muses, making note of anything that might be worth mentioning in the report. Thankfully, Totally-Not-Kyra is recording this as it happens.
Black Arachnia Once the surprise passes, Black Arachnia re-acclimates to the system - and she's very likely seen Xiao Li Yu's work before, during the attempt to 'steal' ADAM back from that testing site. But she knows how to cover her tracks, and does so; as far as anyone who studies the systems later should be able to tell, it was just an astromech droid that needed to service a tripped circuit breaker.

(And maybe there actually *is* a tripped circuit breaker. The fact that it helps open that path for Black Arachnia is just a convenient coincidence, that's all.)

Either way, Black Arachnia quickly moves into the antenna farm, finding a good spot to plant the monitoring device. Making sure that it can send its data without the transmissions being noticed is the most interesting part of the process, but she was working on that during the flight over, so ... hopefully not a big deal.

Once the device is in place, she moves back out along the same path she opened, and reverses her earlier hack to turn the surveillance grid back on. And once THAT'S done, she continues her exploration of the ship's outer hull, continuing to avoid areas where she's likely to be spotted. She could kick the electro-disruptor on again, but she's trying to save it for getting back to the shuttle when it's time to leave.
Kyra Hyral     Kyra cringes as they are joined by Audrey now. She read that news report and /knows/ that Stormfist decided to make rooting out the perpetrators of the factory attack a personal endeavor. If she only knew-which is why she grows extremely nervous, then, when she sees Souji here as well. But at least she recorded all of that. It could be useful later, but it's not exactly incriminating enough for her.

The Shivan War information had not been enough to prompt action, after all.
Starbound Flotilla     Moonfin looks very smug about his reception here. "Ahhhh, it is not quite prepared. Not entirely ready for deployment, but it certainly will within a short time. Our single limitation is the reason that this airship currently serves as our platform; each Domain Core attempts to alter all connecting regions, and since most plates are simply far too large, they fail entirely. However, we have discerned the nature of the trouble; our small fleet of six craft, of which you stand on the first, are hard at work finalizing it. We believe it should be complete in time to roll out as one of the flashship uses for the MPCs manufactured." He says, bowing a bit proudly to Xiao Li Yu. "Soon, Ms? It is my hope that you will hold such equipment within your labs, a beating heart to circulate your knowledge." He turns back. "Now, do the rest of you wish to volunteer, or have other questions?" Audrey's has been noted, but he's getting to that.
Audrey Stormfist     It's a quiet click, as Audrey's hands, still behind her back, shift ever so slightly, one finger tapping the screen of her other gauntlet a few times, maybe pushing a small button or switch. She makes no sudden movements, certainly nothing that could be perceived as hostile anyway.

"We are not without respect for the Empire. The modular technology of your TIE models in particular is something to praise." An idle glance towards Souji, but really nothing else from her.

Outside the room, a number of KIRIN elite troopers are already gathering, readying their magitech rifles and blades, perhaps lightly augmented by Xiao's domain in the form of various additions to their armor or weapons. The masked, blue-armored men in sleek magitech military coats and armor are quietly communicating and getting into position.

But Kyle's a Jedi, so fooling him into not noticing the impending danger is going to be hilariously difficult. He's probably already picked up on all of it.
Starbound Flotilla     Moonfin answers Audrey's questions. "Ahhh, Ms. Stormfist. Of course, the plans -- given that they require Zaibatsu priorietary MPC technology as a critical cornerstone -- are utterly confidential, limited currently to five other research vessels at classified locations, and our own internal database. This, we believe, stands as a potential means of creating and cornering several niches in the market we will create for MPC use, to say nothing of enhancing our own existing facilities and resources for merely the cost of production, as opposed to the prices that we may charge our competitors." He glances to Pavo. She waves over, grinning widely. Very obvious she wrote that part of his proposed policy for him.
Starbound Flotilla     "We are the Starbound Flotilla. Results are our business." Moonfin says, bowing lightly to Souji too. The tone's a little self-satisfied, he's clearly taking a bit of pride in this project. "Once we complete our finalized adjustments, I will have a set of extremely simple specifications for manufacturing -- all of the technologies themselves exist in some form or another, in our galaxy or in your considerable manufacturing grasp -- and after that, it is merely a question of distribution and installation. We are on the cusp of breaking new ground; I am glad to have your appreciation."
Sanary Rondel      Those signals from Audrey don't go unnoticed by Sanary, although she's actually doing a decent job at not showing it. It probably helps that she's only got her gunaxe on her and no other weapons or protective gear, and the fact that Moonfin's asking for volunteers is incredibly tempting. Alas, she's not the security expert, and the cleric opts to just observe the demonstration as well as their guests. "I... Ah, if nobody else wants to give it a shot, I'll try it. But..." She looks over at Audrey, then over at Souji before turning to Moonfin again.

"Would another time be better? In case someone else wants to go first."
Xiao Li Yu      A nod is given to Moonfin. "I see. Then I'll look forward to witnessing the finished product in the future." She smiled, and then turned away, observing the surroundings again. She definitely heard that radio exchange between Audrey and Vader. But she made no outward indication of it. More potential rats scurrying about, huh?

"Hmmm....so then...that means that I should be able to-" She closed her eyes, reaching out with her senses to try and feel out this whole domain thing a bit more seriously, and less like a kid in an amusement park. ...She could manipulate any of these fixtures with a directed thought. Interesting. "Let me try....this..." The assembling KIRIN personnel would find that their weapons and armaments suddenly all got upgraded in terms of firepower and defensive ability, gaining slightly altered appearances.

With that done, she reached out to see what else these rats in hiding may have attempted. Her mind scouring the network of the ship. Nothing....nothing....nothing...it all looked pretty sound. This was definitely her wo- Wait. What was that? Did she always parse that statement like that? No, she used a different method for sure.

"I see, I see..." What she saw, she didn't bother to say out loud.

She'd outwardly let it be, and continue searching for any other discrepancies.
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason inwardly is also cringing as Audrey shows up as well, given her on the news. However it seems things are getting deeper than she suspected. the Reality warping or seeming warping nature troubles her. It's also a very good thing Kyle is aware of trouble or she'd not have seen it coming, she does does however ocntiune to play her part, after all breaking cover is a bad idea. Even if doom's coming down upon them all.
Kyle Katarn     Men, heavily armed and equipped men all outside, aren't above Kyle's notice. As the disguised agent nods again, grinning broadly, he's already trying to formulate a plan to extract before the group's boxed in. Blackarachnia's luckily not present, so they're not all in one spot.

He doesn't have his lightsaber, what kind of idiot would bring that along with them on an op like this anyways? He does have a standard issue sidearm, not his trusty Bryar but it'll do in a pinch.

"Quite so, yes. Our ships are top of the line, we settle for nothing less than optimal..."

He quickly scans the room, looking and sensing out to find anything that might end up useful in getting out of here. He might also be subtly, and telepathically, nudging Kyra.
Starbound Flotilla     The device digs on into the antenna nest. Before it eventually ceases function, it will discover the site and contents of two other DOMAIN CORE SHIPS; three of six are known, all currently in Zaibatsu hands. Given the hijacking nature of the core... It's quite possible that may change rather soon. For now, though, here comes Xiao Li Yu's scan again; while Black Arachnia's messing with the systems, she'll detect Xiao Li Yu trying to find her! She can make a distraction this way... Possibly! There's plenty of power systems and suchlike she might try to breach before Xiao Li Yu locks her out of them.
Starbound Flotilla     Useful things to get out... Well, Xiao Li Yu's mind isn't a very well-lit place. If Black Arachnia overloaded the lighting circuit it might give them a few seconds? Also, the doors are arranged circularly; there's a lot of potential maneuvers one can try... But some hazards too. One does NOT want to get near those dissection tables.
Kyra Hyral     Kyra only needs a little nudge. As soon as Kyle notices, she quietly makes the call over their encrypted radio band. It was time to leave before they were caught. There was more than enough recordings on this so far. But to make their own exit, the 'stormtrooper' leans in and murmurs something to not-Kyle. What Kyra says is actually along the lines of 'I'm telling you something has come up and you need to cut your visit short.' Which, of course, Kyle can pass on as an excuse to leave to further shore up their need to exit.
Kyle Katarn     "Ahh." Jonn ahems. "Exuse us. Something just came up, I have someone trying to contact me at the moment. Inconsiderate." He says, smiling apologetically before he begins to head towards the doorway. His pace is calm if swift, trying not to seem too suspiscious while he fumbles for his commlink, motioning for his escort to come along as well.
Lyria Mason The Storm Trooper looks to Kyle and and nds they seem to get the life of officer, is full as much bantha pudo as a troopers life in the Empire. The trooper sees the gesture to come and does so. After all the situation is normal. They have done their duty as it were and it may be very much time to leave.
Audrey Stormfist     If the imperial officer and stormtroopers intend to make their exit, they're going to need to do it very, very quickly. Another click from Audrey's gauntlets, and the room is suddenly flooded by the KIRIN troopers. Coming in with upgraded magitech rifles and gunblades, the dozen or so men in blue, sleek robotic armor swarm in through the primary door, and almost immediatly move to make a perfect circle around Kyra, Lyria, Kyle and Audrey. The Heritor reveals her hands, frowning.

"I should think not. If you value your life, I wouldn't resist."

The KIRIN troopers open fire. With the upgrades they're packing, their rifles and gunblades are each onto themselves Bolt-2/Thunder-2 spells, either slashing or firing lightning bolts that aim to incapacitate the two stormtroopers with electricity. The officer himself, Audrey has already pulled a fist back to handle. "Doom Fist." The gauntlet glows an ominous black and purple, as she tries to deliver a single, hard-hitting punch laced with the Doom status effect. Of course, it can't instantly down an Elite, but it's extremely unpleasant once it ticks off some time later later.

If Black Arachnia intends to create a diversion, this would certainly be the best time she could pick while attacks are flying. Surrounded like they are it might not be hard to weave through and make the soldiers hit one another, given a distraction.
Black Arachnia Perhaps surprisingly, Black Arachnia is trying to keep her hacking to a minimum overall - she had to hack in to make a path through the surveillance around the antenna farm, but other than making that path and cleaning up after herself, she doesn't want to leave a whole bunch of virtual footprints.

She's doing more of her 'spying' the old-fashioned way, with her eyes and ears - mainly getting a sense of the airship's defenses, plus those of its escorts. If the group has to come back in again, and if they have to do so less covertly, then any intel on what they'll be up against is good.

... and then the word comes that yes, they actually need a distraction. Hoo boy.

Black Arachnia does a little more recon, then comes up with something, scuttling over to one of the ship's turrets and tucking a virus into it. Nothing too fancy, just something that can be passed off as a malfunction of some kind; she puts a sixty-second delay on it, starts the timer, and maneuvers away from the turret as quickly as she can.

When the virus goes live, the turret begins pivoting this way and that, acquiring short-lived target locks on whatever it can actually point at. It doesn't actually shoot at any of the acquired targets, but it's drawing power like it's going to.

... actually, it's drawing more power than THAT.

A lot more. Something might explode. And - if Black Arachnia cooked things right - it may look like the Domain Core stuff itself is part of the problem.
Souji Murasame Souji doesn't seem to even move as Audrey engages the Stormtroopers, simply turning in his seat and watching as things break down. "I don't know who you lot are or what you expected to accomplish, but you're not going to escape." He says simply. "Your corpses will be sure to guide us to your associates."
Kyle Katarn     "I'd rather see what's behind door number three, myself." Kyle says, only ditching the accent enough as he reaches for his pistol. The blaster levels at one of the KIRIN troopers, blasting chest-level while Kyle raises out his hand to knock a score of the soldiers off their feet. No more talking, instead, he begins shooting at Audrey while everything goes to hell in seconds.

When she lunges in close to punch him with that Doom Fist of hers, Kyle's knocked back HARD, sending him towards a wall and knocking the wind from him. Coughing and wheezing, Kyle squeezes off one more shot before dropping to a knee. Ow.
Kyra Hyral     Kyra's stomach drops as the KIRIN troopers surround the three of them. Not only that, but the Domain Core makes it even /worse/ by upgrading their weapons on the spot. Raw, animalistic panic starts settling in to Kyra's brain. If they were taken here, it was /over/.

Immediately, she turns over her hand and drops a device at her feet, which given the ample warning provided to the other two with her, turns out to be a flash grenade that floods the immediate area with blinding light. It doesn't prevent her from being shot up or hit with thunder-2 at first but it at least quickly gives an opening for the three to book it, albiet with the shot and shocked Kyra staggering away on unsteady steps.
Sanary Rondel      Action! Sanary gets her head down rather quickly to avoid getting herself caught up in any crossfire, one hand pulling the gunaxe off her hip and the other held out towards Audrey and the other troopers. It's not a particularly necessary gesture, but it does help her channel her energy outwards somewhat, looping that green healing light around to Audrey and each KIRIN trooper to bolster their natural health and magic energy regeneration.

Just her luck, then, that she faces Kyra's flash grenade right when it's about to go off. The cleric howls in pain as the light blinds her suddenly, hissing while covering her eye with that free hand.
Starbound Flotilla     With Xiao Li Yu's own digital and engineering expertise, they're the one who's in charge of handling the virus. IF it goes off, several power conduits may wind up exploding, and at the very least the lighting may go out, but it's going to depend on how little interference they run into from the Zaibatsu's own genius.

The Starbounders turn to the group. As anonymized as they are, there's little hesitation among the ones who are usually allies. Their eyes shine an ominous light...

    +_+ +_+ +_+ +_+ +_+ +_+

The dramatic effect of this is lightly diminished by the fact that five of the six of them are blinded by a flashbang that gets dropped here, which is right where they were looking. The only one who doesn't -- Seft, of course, the machine -- is already drawing her POWER BATTLEAXE. "Warning. I do not wish to harm or kill you, but you are trespassing on high-priority areas. If you do not surrender immediately, I will use lethal force." And since, well, they won't, she's already taking off towards them. Better run! She's one of the tougher Captains!
Kyle Katarn     Kyle isn't that deterred by all the Starbounders, but he does know he doesn't have much time to screw around with these people. Dropping the blaster, Kyle instead reaches for a discarded gunblade, pulling it to him while everyone's reeling from the Flashbang grenade. His vision's already woozy, and his ears are ringing, but he keeps fighting as he begins to square off against Audrey, Sanary, and Seft with the weapon in hand.

"Go, GO NOW!" He calls to the 'Stormtroopers', before he moves to intercept Seft, his blade clashing with her power axe. "THis isn't personal, believe me." He says, before pushing against the Glitch with his strength behind it.
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason gets the warning about the flash bang and well does seem to brace a second before the trooper moves and makes ready for the fight. Audrey is a terror in close combat, from what she knows. It's time to go, nothing is said in response to anything yelled at them. The trooper just turn tails after readying thier blaster rifle, and runs fulll out with the weapon at the ready if it's needed. Oh this is just one of those days, this is totally one of those days.
Audrey Stormfist     A flash grenade. Well, KIRIN troopers don't wear helmets for show. Still, the flash is a distraction, even if they aren't disabled by it. Whether they have helmets or not, they can't just stare directly into a flashbang, and have been trained to avert their gazes at the slightest hint of one. That's still plenty of time where they stop firing or slashing!

A blaster shot from Kyle downs one of the KIRIN troopers, as his hand knocks two more away into Xiao's horrible lab tables. Hopefully she can control them. The remaining soldiers, Audrey included, activate magnetic locks on their boots, gluing them to the ship's floor without actually preventing their movements, just knockbacks.

The final blaster shots strike Audrey's arms, which she uses to cover herself. Skin is singed badly under her gauntlets, but rapidly regenerates due to Monk skills.

Assuming Kyle didn't resist the Doom effect added to her punch, he'll probably start feeling that ticking countdown. Starting at sixty seconds, now probably down to fifty or fifty-five, it's sort of like a time bomb before he feels the full hit just sort of crush all his innards. He has a healer on hand though, so really as long as he gets Kyra out of there with him he can just ask for a healbomb the moment it goes off.

Could also fluke and wear off on its own or get resisted. Take your pick!

The sudden explosion of a turret distracts the KIRIN troopers and Audrey, though, preventing another strike. A few stray thunder shots might happen, at most. "Moonfin! Why do we have ship defenses exploding?!"
Starbound Flotilla     Seft engages Kyle directly. She's the sole truly Good Person among the Core Fleet captains, but that doesn't mean she has mercy or is an ineffective fighter. Quite the opposite. She chokes her grip on the battleaxe for increased speed and maneuverability, and swings with machine precision and dutiful aggression. She's unfortunately outmatched in terms of sheer one-on-one combat skill, "Alert. They are scattering. I cannot keep pace with the other captains stunned." She calls out to her allies! Really, the fact is that competing even with a stunned and equipment-limited Kyle, she can only barely keep up with the one-on-one.
Xiao Li Yu      "Oh, how cute." Xiao muttered, focusing entirely on the domain and leaving the combat to the others. "Trying to cause a malfunction with the turrets? How basic..." Chuckling, she spend through the systems, checking on the turrets and combating the virus as much as possible.

"...Hmmm, why aren't they firing though?" She frowned. "There's a buildup, but..." Pause. "...Ohhh....Sneaky." She called out to Audrey. "Just a moment! I'm working on it!" Sigh. Damn terrorists. "Let's see here....ah, rerouting the charge back into... Ooooooh, that would cause an explosion. Terrible, terrible."

Xiao closed her eyes and focused. "Let's just stamp out this virus and redirect the gathered charge elsewhere..." A second turret exploded in the meantime. But the researcher let that one go. She needed to focus on the source. Before another thing could blow up, the defenses suddenly powered down.

"Phew... Okay. Give it a minute to reboot. You're all going to have to make do with actual manpower for now."
Kyra Hyral     Stormtrooper Kyra suddenly slams a hand against her upper left arm. The impact activates an auto-injector she had embedded in the suit, which deploys a potion, via needle, direcly into her bloodstream. It makes a somewhat servicable substitute for actually being able to heal herself, which helps her get through the damage she just took from the KIRIN troopers assault.

She then flips her hand over again, producing a different grenade from it. This one is a /concussion/ grenade. She hurls it behind her, far behind the KIRIN troopers that have themselves semi-rooted to the ground by magnetic boots. Following that, she just runs. She runs with the blaster in her hand, shooting anything that dares to get in front of her as they all rush back to the transport that Jan flew here.

Warnings are shouted over the link for Jan to get the ship ready to take off immediately once the three of them have made it on.
Black Arachnia Whatever Black Arachnia's electro-disruptor can handle, she's using it now - once she's back on the landing pad, she heads for the shuttle that the group came in on, and secures a grip on its hull near the hatch. She's not going to open the ramp up unless the others NEED her to open it up - but if it's standing open, well, all the better for the group. She still doesn't want to go inside on her own.

At least she managed to take out a few turrets. She only MEANT to knock one out at most, so the fact that the virus spread to others is pretty awesome.

If she needs to scurry into the shuttle proper before her electro-disruptor times out, she'll do so, but in the meantime, she wants her optics able to confirm that her fellow infiltrators are on the way back out in something that could pass for one piece.
Kyle Katarn     Clang, clang clang. Kyle feels the effects of Doom pretty fast after it's inflicted on him while he fights with Seft. Even then, he's furious in his defense against the Glitch. It feels weird using a metal blade and not a lightsaber, but he notices the revolver mechanism in between exchanges of blows.

He backs up, before unleashing a wave of Force energy to send Seft knocked back far enough for him to get some breathing room as he aims the weapon and spins the cylinder.

Sleep, Bolt, Paralyze...He decides on a random round and pulls the trigger on Seft, then drops the weapon and /runs/ after Kyra and Lyria.
Starbound Flotilla     Moonfin is groggily trying to pull himself together, and the group as a whole gives a response to Audrey.

"I don't know! Captains, deliver your insight!"
"Can't see shit, captain."
"Power fluctuatin' hard, matey! Hold fast!"
"Pursue. Douse their ship in radiation. Scour their marrow."
"Floran eyesss burrrrrn! Auuuuwh, not fair!"
Sanary Rondel      Sanary's vision starts to come back as that haze starts wearing off, spotting the exploding turret and a few downed/injured troopers already along with Seft squaring off with the... 'Davos' isn't even his real name, is it? Her first priority is keeping her allies up, of course, and more green light clouds start to flow from the cleric

One goes to Seft to try and keep the Glitch's... Does she even heal through magic like this? Or gain energy? Who knows, but Sanary's not taking chances by not doing it. Another larger light cloud flows towards Audrey and the troopers on the ground, lingering around them since she's fairly certain it'll actually work on them.

"Davos... Or whoever! You shitty asshole... What are you even trying to get out of this?!" She shouts angrily as the green light clouds keep flowing from her, not bothering to keep herself covered. She's got priorities here!
Audrey Stormfist     Kyra's concussion grenade does a nice job forcing the troopers to take a step back; largely protected by their armors (unless Kyra went all-out making lethal, extremely powerful grenades), they're nonetheless stunned another moment or three, managing only inaccurate parting shots at the two stormtroopers. Kyle takes a bit longer to run, so the soldiers have a bit more time to recover, and thus, unleash another hail of synchronized rifle shots, another wave of lightning bolts.

Audrey is much sturdier than her guards, though; cuts and bruises on her faces from shrapnel heal quickly, and she unsheathes her own gunblade, pointing it towards Kyle's back as he runs.

Unexpectedly, her gunblade does fire a solid round. It's a subtle tracer, which won't even impact hard enough to be felt and will penetrate fabric. Kyra has, luckily, already received the advice to have her men dump their clothes after each operation in case of tracers, so even if she can hit, it's unlikely they'll be finding anything but discarded clothes by the time they've given chase.

"Secure all exits. This is an airship, there aren't a thousand places they can run out of!"
Kyra Hyral     Damn straight Kyra is having everyone dump and maybe even burn disguises after each use. She's stressed again and again how important secrecy was for this stage of events because once anyone got unmasked, the full political hammer would be brought down. The Union would be in trouble to say the least.

Audrey DOES get a solid hit. Right on the stormtrooper's back. Fortunately later, that will be the first shell to be ditched, flung out of one of the hatches of the transport ship into the Ramuhan sky.

But in the meantime, she takes advantage of the lead the grenade gave to launch through the halls and dive into the waiting ship.
Starbound Flotilla     Seft slams her heavy battleaxe into Kyle's blade as many times as she can, but to no avail. And then the Force takes her square off her feet! Slammed into the ground, she's then shortly shot at short range by a heavy ICE-1 SHOT! It tears through her metallic body brutally, though thankfully Regen can help deal with that later. What it doesn't deal with is the STATUS EFFECT that Starbound Captains tend to be vulnerable to. The icing over her body prevents her from pursuing!

Now the rebels just have the minor gauntlet of Xiao Li Yu's machines to run through... But Xiao Li Yu is occupied with making sure Black Arachnia doesn't sabotage this region too badly! If Xiao Li can multitask, they might get more impeding, but it's unlikely at the moment. The Core Fleet Captains will have only recovered by the time all three primary intruders are gone...
Xiao Li Yu      By the time the defense systems are fully online again, the rebels will likely have been on their ship and blasting off again. Not that she doesn't bring all systems back online as soon as possible, but they certainly won't be stopping any Elites at this stage of the game.
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason is running like heck she's not stopped running honestly, she's got spells and gods know what else flying about here. She does have her blaster which is st to stun,s eh'll fire off stun bolts at anyone who gets in her way, she knows that Audrey is a pretty big issue to worry about but they have a bit of a head start as she keeps with Kyra. She's not stopping this stormtrooper has learned to run and running TK-421 is getting out of here.
Kyle Katarn     As Kyle runs, he's quick to shed his uniform jacket and cap, leaving behind a white muscle shirt while he sprints to catch up with Kyra and Lyria. This entire mission just turned into a clusterfuck, that much is certain. This isn't the first time he's done deniable ops, but definitely the first he's done for the Union. This is gonna get /ugly/ if they screw up now.

The Jedi runs for the landing pad fast as he can, exchanging fire with KIRIN forces as he goes, his heart racing as he tries to get to the shuttle in time for escape.

By the time he gets there, Jan's already got the ship ready, with a change of clothes for when everyone is on the ship safe and sound. "C'mon, we gotta get outta here! Where's Arachnia?"

Kyle glances at the open ramp, wheezing as he stumbles aboard. "On her...way..." He sounds /awful/. Kyra may want to patch him up.
Black Arachnia "Right here," Black Arachnia says as she walks into the cabin along the ceiling - still in spider form. "No need to wait for me."
Kyra Hyral     "She's here. Let's go." Kyra says curtly through her synthesized voice. She reaches over and takes Kyle by the arm, holding onto him reassuringly. Once the door has closed to the transport, she slips him a potion pulled out from her matter manipulator. She doesn't use her magic, still held back by the built-in Silencer, and won't undo the object until they are far, far out of dodge of KIRIN and Souji. Far away from anyone capable of using Scan.

"Despite the...complications....I think we collected a significant amount of intelligence today. Thank you all for your help."
Black Arachnia "Glad to help out," Black Arachnia replies. And she actually does mean it - the challenge was as close to 'entertaining' as she'll ever admit. "I suspect I may not be working much with the Flotilla for a while, though."
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason gets her butt on the transport and slumps once she's in the ship, she doesn't even take the helmet off as she notes. "Maybe, and by the coils I knew Souji was high strung but he sounded like something out of Fleet of Ships, seriously, does he have his desk forced from the CEO desks of all the companies his has devoured?"
D She's trying to make light of things, but any linger doubts are starting to fade about doing this, seriously reality warping and how Souji was behaving...
Kyle Katarn     "Yeah..." KYle nods tiredly as he pops the potion, letting it take care of his injuries and his Doom-ing. He struggles to stand up and find a place to change clothes while Jan gets the ship flying. She goes as fast as the Imperial shuttle can carry them, until it reaches the stars and hits hyperspace, Force-willing.
