Owner Pose
Hitoshura Hitoshura left the warpgate and found himself in a bar and grill. He was in his civilian clothes. He looked like a young man in his mid-20s with black hair and Asian features. He also had tattoos on his hands and face similar to Nasca lines.

His traveling companion today was Garm, his loyal red demonic-looking dog. He sat at a table and waited for service, looking over the menu for a few minutes. He and Garm exchanged a familiar glance, and Garm whined and lay down at Hito's feet. He looked around, saw a section of the bar used for karaoke, and thought about that for a while.
Nicky Nicky on the other hand hadn't actually planned to come to the Restaurant, not even exactly go go to some other universe exactly. But with the warpgates suddenly flaring up all over (her) New York, she just happened to move through one as she was getting into a store. Stumbling out of the gate, the black leather jacket over her red top glistening wet from the rain that had fallen on the other side. Looking around surprised, she sighed a moment, leaning against a pillar for a minute or two before she decides to go to the actual bar, bumping into some other patron. Quickly she makes sure to appologize and flatten the wrinkles she made in his jacket before moving towards the Karaoke more, having snatched a few of the money bills he had in the jacket.
Hitoshura Hito orders an appetizer and a strangely named pink beer. He quickly eats it, and looks around. He notices Nicky, and that she's moving toward karaoke.

He heads to the DJ (unless she beats him to it), and requests a turn on the machine. The song sounds a little familiar. Sadly, it's a duet, which eh just realized. "Oh, no, it's a duet. A little help please? Anyone?"

His cheeks under the tattoos begin to blush, and the facial tattoos glow a seafoam green. So much for fitting in.
Nicky Nicky can't realy tell the signs of Hiroshura being unusual, having grown up in a quarter of NY that had quite a large number of deformed mutants. As he practically begs for a help she scoffs a bit, then shruggs and nods as she gets closer, just grabbing the microphone. "I hope for you that this is not a lovesong..."
Hitoshura Hito whispers something to the DJ, and makes the throat slit sign to him. He laughs and nods. The song begins, a little rough. Hito is a decent singer, but he'll never be a professional. He feels less embarrased, so his tattoos only barely glow now, and he's not sweating so bad.

He listens for Nicky's voice, and tries to help her as best he can. Does she want to pick the next one?
Nicky Nicky just shruggs as the song rolls in, waiting for the text on the screen to indicate for her to sing. She is just about decent and she puts it into an alto voice, making it kinda dusky low.

As the song ends and she gets to choose, she skims over the offers, working herself through the menu before choosing something from the punk metal area. "Repayment."
Hitoshura Hito continues to sing. He's not familiar with this one, so that he's having trouble hitting the right notes. Eventually he gets it though. When it's his turn, he does some jpop thing from about 10 years ago. Unfortunately, it triggers a few painful memories, but he hides it pretty well.

He's enjoying himself though, and genuinely smiling. When each of the songs ends, Garm howls in approval of the two, much to the chagrin and general discomfort of the audience.
Nicky Nicky sighs as she ends the short duets, wiping her forehead as she puts the microphone back. It isn't sweat she wipes away, not even the hair but it's a gesture to relieve her mind as that blasted dog starts to yell.

"Comeon, get your dog to silence..."
Hitoshura Hito's radio pings. "Sorry, I've got to go, and that's my dog. He's just cheering us on. I'm Hito," he says, offering a hand. "Thanks for the help, and nice to meet you,"

Then he whistles for the strange looking dog and they exit. He glances back to Nicky, waves, and gives his best smile.
