Lexicon     The System is in the middle of its Day-Night cycle, a stark line through the sky between Daylight and Night travels across the sky at a steady pace. At ground level, a flash of white light erupts, surrounded by rings of code and numbers. When it fades, a brown-haired young woman stands there, clutching a battered hammer, her clothes ripped here and there. With a frown, she dismisses the weapon and turns away from the person before her, "--Fine. It's yours for now. I won't forget this."

Lexicon steps away from the central tower, then, while the silver-white beam of light ripples and then converts to a vibrant purple color. The energy lines throughout the System likewise change, and then shut off their feed to one of the System Bus transits. A moment later, these purple lines re-activate at a different terminal.

The DCC herself, muttering, wanders towards that transit that had been cut off, adjusting her coat and repairing the rips with what looks like magic. All in all, a normal day in the System.
Sanary Rondel Sanary's heard some mutterings of a new world popping up in this place called... The Cyber Core? Not a familiar name to begin with, but at least it's easy enough to find a train taking people to the System proper.

Oddly enough, she looks almost... Comfortable as the Cabletrain reaches the Hub, peering out one of the windows at the spire and especially at the flash of light in the distance. She takes a moment to get her bearings straight before stepping off the train, an intrigued hum leaving the healer's throat.

"Shiny... Huh. Is this normal for this area?" She chimes as she comes across the unfamiliar brunette, a firnedly smile on her face. If not for the fact that she's carrying what's unmistakeable an axe combined with gun on her waist, she'd almost look like a tourist. She looks Lexicon over briefly, trying not to give away the fact that she's actually amused by... Something.

Surely it's not the height difference.
Blurr Blurr had also received intel about a new unification in the area, and has made his way here to investigate. A new planet means new acquaintances, potenially new allies and new resources. Arriving by a train designed for human-sized people probably won't work out very well so he's just made his way here on his own. Besides he's faster anyway. At least he thinks so.

He notices the brown-haired woman who appears frustrated with some malfunctioning machinery, as well as taking note of Sanary...who makes him tense up just a little bit. She isn't exactly someone he'd trust, but she doesn't appear to be up to anything sinister just yet.

He approaches the brunette in the way he usually does with humans and human-sized people who don't know him--with a holomatter human likeness who at least resembles a normal-looking young man at first glance, with his actual form a short distance off. "Having trouble?" he asks, referring to the broken terminal.
Lexicon     Arrivals via the Cablerail at least mildly attract Lexicon's attention, and she glances towards the main terminal as Sanary disembarks. The unspecific question just prompts her to close her eyes, "Yes, this is normal here. Welcome to the System. Amethyst Soul is busy, but if you had questions, I can address them as one of the DCCs." Whatever that is, by her tone, it's probably important.

To Blurr's not-actually-human representation, she gestures, "No. The terminal is fine. But with Amethyst Soul running the Distribution Hub, she's redirected the resource flow to her own Drive." Eyes opening, she nods once, "I can tell you're new, but this is how things work here."
Sanary Rondel Spotting Blurr, Sanary doesn't seem to recognize him at all. For better or for worse, she can't quite put two and two together to figure out that this was the same one that was responsible for her past misadventures in driving! She offers him a light nod in greeting, then turns back to Lexicon at her introduction.

"Amethyst Soul? Dee...?" The healer grunts lightly while stroking her chin, filing that away as something to look into. "Haven't been here before, so a lot of these words are still kinda... Weird to me. Uh. Sounds computer-y, though." She takes another look around from where the group is standing, taking particular note of the spire before turning towards the two again.

Might as well get some things figured out now, at least. "So Amethyst Soul is this place's leader, then? Ah... Oh. Right. Introductions." She clears her throat, then offers Lexicon and Blurr a practiced bow at the waist. "Sanary Rondel, Captain and healer for the Confederacy. Good to meet you both."
Blurr "DCC." Blurr repeats the acronym. "Sounds important." he comments. "Who's Amethyst Soul? Another important someone I assume?" the speedster asks, still keeping a wary optic on Sanary.

"What's your name? I'm Blurr." He sticks out a hand for her to shake. Strangely enough throughout the multiverse a handshake appears to be universal. So hopefully it's the case here, too.

And now Sanary is introducing herself to him, and now it's kind of awkward because he already knows who she is, and she...probably doesn't realize who he is. Well it's better to keep it that way, anyway. So he just smirks slightly. "Yeah, sure. Good to meet you too, -Sanary-."
Lexicon     "For now," the brunette states with a shrug, "Sooner or later she'll get knocked down by Emerald Soul, Onyx Soul, myself, or one of the others." She squares herself up, glancing between Not!Blurr and Sanary, "My name is Lexicon. Drive Core Controller of Britannica." Eyes closing, she explains, "That means I lead that Drive. Or city, if you want to call it that. This--" She raises a hand to gesture, "Is the System Hub. Nobody lives /here/. They all live in the Drives."

A hand is pushed in her direction and she stares at it for a moment. Recognition flashes across her expression and she returns the gesture via a somewhat loose handshake, "Nice to meet you, Blurr, Rondel." Once released she resumes her steady wandering towards the Britannica system bus terminal, little motes of light drifting behind her as her clothes are repaired, "Amethyst Soul is the DCC of the Amethyst City of Songs. Britannica is the Silver City of Knowledge. Some know me as Silver Soul, but you can call me either one, honestly. I was on my way home. If you wanted to see a Drive, then join me. I don't expect Amethyst Soul to be very willing to take visitors right after fighting me, anyway."
Sanary Rondel No recognition of Blurr whatsoever! Well, aside from a brief eyebrow raise as if Sanary's starting to recognize him, but only in passing. The details aren't quite there, though, so it's probably still safe! At the very least, she doesn't look awkward about it at all.

"Blurr and Lexicon, huh? Good to meet you both. Ah, so that's what that D.. Oh. DCC." Putting more logical things together, she follows the gesture and takes yet another glance around before starting to follow after the Drive Core Controller.

"Definitely sounds computer-y... Uh. Does that mean Brittanica's a good place to bring them if I-er. If a friend is having trouble with one?" She corrects herself fairly quickly. A little too quickly, even. Sanary grins a bit at the invitation to join Lexicon, and she shrugs once before nodding. "Sure, why not. You two fight a lot or something?"

The gears are starting to turn already.
Blurr "Hmm, I'm gonna call you Lex, then." Blurr's avatar arches a brow at Lexicon. "Well, it sounds like you two aren't exactly friends, huh?" The way Lexicon has been talking about Amethyst almost makes it sound like some kind of civil war is going on, even.

Sanary's mention of trouble with a drive piques his interest, though. "Someone you know having data drive problems, eh? Well you know I have a--way with machines, too. I might be able to help." he offers. "And even if I can't, I definitely have friends who could fix just about any computer problem."
Lexicon     "No," Lexicon states, eyes closing, "I will not fix your computer." She saw through /that/ real quick, didn't she? "But Britannica is a Drive that specializes in learning and information. If you want, you're welcome to visit one of our many libraries to look up how to do it yourself." When Blurr speaks up, she gestures, "Or he can do it, I suppose."

She ascends the steps to the System Bus terminal to Britannica, arms folding while she waits for the tram to return, "We don't hate each other if that's what you're thinking. We just compete for resources." She turns, nodding towards the purple-energized central tower, "Whoever's in charge of the Hub gets a larger share of the System's resources than the others. We're pretty competitive, all of us want to be the best Drive in the System." Eyes closing again, she adds, "It's a matter of personal pride."
Sanary Rondel "You can? Oh, cool. Yeah, my-... Their computer's been kinda slow lately. Think they got it hacked or... Something."

What a terrible liar. At least Lexicon's not letting her get away with it! Sanary cringes just a bit, but she does hum a moment later once that offer to actually learn how to fix the computer is extended to her. "Mm... Maybe. Wouldn't hurt to figure out how those things work, at least."

Following Lexicon and Blurr to the terminal, the one-eyed healer leans over the platform briefly to peer at the tower, then in both directions to try and figure out which way the tram is going to come from. "Sounds rough. People can get real nasty over land disputes, even if they're both stuck in the same situation." She comments with a mildly displeased tone in her voice, almost as if she's recalling something unpleasant. Sanary catches herself a moment later, though, and quickly settles into a more relaxed smile. "Ah, but if you've got a system figured out, I'm sure it's working alright. Er... Right?"
Blurr The avatar grins. "Sure, I can take a look at it, see what I can do." Which most likely involves planting malicious code that will record everything she does and send it to the Autobots' servers. Because that's what spies do. Who knows where useful intel might pop up, after all.

"So essentially a civil war over resources. Makes sense." As they approach the terminal, Blurr hangs back a bit. "Hey Lexi uhm I've got my own transportation that I prefer over public transit. I can just follow along, right?"
Princess Luna      After so much time locked away, and then a few years of moderate isolation while she relearned how to conduct herself in society, Princess Luna is eager to get out and see this strange new Multiverse that her world has somehow become part of. Today, her explorations have brought her to a world that to her is very unusual and exciting.

The pony princess had been just walking around, taking in sights. But, when she notices a few people that, to her, look like they must be Multiversal visitors as well. She makes her way toward them quickly, her hooves clopping audibly on the hard ground. "Greetings, fellow citizens of the Multiverse. I hope thou shalt forgive me for my intrusion, but this world is quite different from anything which which I have familiarity. Would it be rude of me to request that I be allowed to join thy tour group?"
Lexicon     "It works," Lexicon states with a shrug, "It keeps us on our toes and it keeps our ability to fight honed for when we have to protect our Drives. Viruses are a pretty big problem these days, I wouldn't want to be caught off guard by one of the nastier ones." She casts a bemused glance towards Blurr, "'Civil War' is a bit strong but if it helps you understand it, I guess. We're not nearly that bloodthirsty and we don't send armies out. It's just us."

She raises a hand and waves Blurr off, "Multiversal denizens can do whatever they want. If you've got a vehicle that can cross the System Bus line, go ahead and use it."

The approach of a clear nonhuman prompts her to thrust a hand out, materializing a large hammer in a flash of code. This is pointed directly at Luna, then hesitantly lowered, "So you're /not/ a virus." The hammer disappears as quickly as it appeared, and she shrugs, eyes closed, "The tram will be here in a minute. If you want to look around, be my guest."
Sanary Rondel "Cool, cool. Maybe even both, so I can figure out what it is you're doing while you're... Uh. Doing that." Sanary's not one to shy away from learning about things she doesn't understand, at least! And Blurr... Well, if he plays his cards right? He might just have to question what sweet loving deity would allow a computer to ever end up in that state.

Luna's arrival draws a curious glance from the healer, and she blinks a few times before raising a hand in a light wave. "Hey there. Er. No intrusion here, I think. More the merrier, I guess." She replies with a light chuckle, glancing over at Lexicon and Blurr to gauge their reactions as well before laughing at the sight of a hammer.

"Easy, easy. Nah, I've seen horse people like her before. Definitely not computer viruses." Sanary eyes Lexicon for a moment longer and where that hammer had been just a moment ago, starting to look curious once more. "Was that magic, or the hammer's technology?" A pause. "... is that something else I can learn from your libraries?"
Blurr Blurr's holomatter nods. "Yeah, sure thing, of course. Just let me know." He chuckles, turning to Lexicon. "Thanks." He starts to part ways with them, then notices Luna. He gives her a weird look but then recognition dawns on his face. Oh, yeah. Those strange uh, 'pony' people as they are called. He met some of them. "And you are?" he asks, noting she hasn't said her name.
Princess Luna      Luna's ears perk at the mention of civil war. This place certainly doesn't seem to be in the middle of a war to her. But, her thoughts on that take a back seat to Lexi suddenly producing and brandishing a hammer. Luna flinches, and in a flash of movement and a burst of blue-white light, she has her own weapon in hand. An intricate scythe that is as tall as the pony herself. She makes no movements after that, and when Lexicon puts her weapon away, Luna does the same. "I...am not a virus, no. If I were, I would be much too small to see." she says, smiling amicably. She apparently isn't familiar with computers at all.

Lexicon's words lead Luna to believe that this is not a tour group, but Sanary invites her to stick around anyway. So, Luna gives her mane a swish, which is interesting when it and her tail both look like a flowing ethereal mist dotted with stars. "Thou art familiar with my kind?" she asks Sanary, seeming a bit surprised. After all, there is only one anthropomorphized Equestria that she knows of. Blurr asks for her name, and Luna gasps. "Oh! Forgive me. I am Princess Luna of Equestria. But, thou art welcome to call me simply Luna." she says, smiling to all three.
Lexicon     Lexicon lets out a sigh, "Perhaps a bit too jumpy after the last time." A glance towards Sanary, and she shakes her head, "It's neither. I convert it into base code and store the code in my inventory, using system resources." That ... probably made no sense. "I can't teach it to anyone. It's unique to us DCCs, near as I can tell."

"You," her attention shifts to Luna, "Must be thinking about biological viruses. No, around here they're monsters, though some look like people, too." She shrugs again, "As I said, I'm too jumpy after a bad run-in a while back. Viruses are bad news here." She raises a hand to wave as Blurr takes off, then refolds her arms, "I'm Lexicon. Drive Core Controller of Britannica. Speaking of, here comes the train now."

On cue, a futuristic bullet train pulls into the terminal, sliding to a silent halt. Its doors slide open, and a handful of people disembark, discussing their visit to the Silver City or talking about what they want to do when they get back to their home Drive. Lexicon simply steps up and boards it, opting to stand rather than sit.
Sanary Rondel There's a half-blowing half-whistling noise from nearby as Sanary glances between Luna and Lexicon, an amused laugh escaping her a moment later. "... Yeah, I really gotta learn how to do that. So much more convenient than carrying gear around all the time." She gives her gunaxe a light pat, not looking too discouraged even with Lexicon's revelation that her method can't be taught. "I'll just have to figure out some other way, then. Or..." She trails off and shrugs before turning to the pony princess, nodding once at her question.

"Yeah, I've met a few ponies before. One really loud one that.. Er. Hurt my ear sa lot. A few others that made food at Toph's place..." She goes quiet after that, looking suddenly distracted about something.

Mental note: Probably try and talk to that girl again some time.

Just when Sanary's about to board the tram, there's a dull ringing noise from inside her pocket! Taking out an ancient-looking flip phone, she doesn't bother to actually open it up and checks the display on the front before stuffing it back into her pocket with a sigh. "Damn. Work's calling. I'll have to take a rain check on the tour, I'm afraid." She sighs again, the offers an apologetic smile to the three. "Maybe next time. You take care now!" And with a brief tap against her head in a lazy salute, Sanary is heading back the way she came from!
