Weiss Schnee     To the untrained eye, it might seem like Weiss would put herself above becoming so invested in a simple video game - however, her friends know that she gets incredibly competitive when presented with a challenge. Now, she's really gone all-out, going on her own adventures apart from the party to collect all the required ingredients for what she sees as the ULTIMATE WEAPON.

However, she seems to have hit a roadblock, which is why she's summoned Yuuki and Auralia to the crafting deck. At present, she stands bent over the workbench, her body blocking view of the recipe-in-progress. Various materials and resources float haphazardly through the air around it, disappearing from view as they leave the table's perimeter.
Yuuki Konno     Yuuki puts her heart into everything she does; something that should be obvious enough to anyone who knows her. It's true in gaming and equally true at Beacon. It's not so much competitiveness though as it is her desire to do everything to its fullest. Life's too short, after all, to waste it moping along like a typical teenager.

She does spend plenty of time in CCO these days however. It's a fun game, and there's potentially something here for her. If she doesn't at least pull her own weight, she couldn't bear to face the friends who are going out of their way for her. One of those friends just happens to be Weiss, or Snowflake as she's known here. Sure Snowflake may not know WHY Yuuki's all gung-ho to find the ghost ship and deal with the rogue encounter, but she should know something's up at least.

It's not exactly the oddest thing about Yuuki and this game, of course. There's also how Yuuki's practically prescient in the VR game. At Beacon Academy she's fast and agile, but no more so than other students. She's a competitive match for anyone in her grade, but her speed is merely competitive. In the game she moves equally well, spinning, dodging, vaulting, attacking and defending. But she moves so well that she practically dances through attacks, whether PVP or PVE. It's like she sees the attacks as they begin, or perhaps even before they begin. She's not actually faster than she is in the real world, but she begins her counters and dodges that faction of a second sooner that turns her into a truly unholy terror with the blade.

She doesn't seem like a terror now however. With her outfit somewhat frilly and laced with purple and crimson, she's more dandy than dread pirate. And of course that smile doesn't really belong on the terror of the seas. "What're you working on?" she asks, craning to get a good look at whatever Weiss is working with. Probably not an easy thing to do if Weiss wants to block her, even as tiny as Weiss might be. Yuuki's no bigger than Ruby, and probably no bigger than Weiss herself. Such a tiny terror.
Zephyr Windstar     Being the captain of a ship has benefits, and a lot of personal problems too. Auralia knows Snowflake has been doing her own thing. That's fine, since she's also pulling her weight when she's needed. Auralia doesn't know what Snowflake is working on, since she very rarely gets a chance to come down to the crafting deck, due to multiple reasons.

She's following after Yuuki, and the taller, much taller than either of the others, woman can't help but smile at the energy of the tiny terror of the high seas... who is also the strongest swordswoman in all of Alfheim, and the best in countless other worlds. So sincere about who she is. "So... working on some secret project, galavanting off to the Six know where on your own... when were you planning on filling us in?" she asks goodnaturedly, leaning against a bulkhead with her palm resting on the haft of her handaxe.
Weiss Schnee     Once one spends a little more time around her, it becomes certain that Weiss tries her absolute hardest to perfect any task she puts her mind to - her own pride won't let her give any less than all she has, even with the pettiest tasks (just ask her teammates on board game night). She might not fully understand why Yuuki's so hellbent on hunting down this ghost ship, but you can bet your bowl o' fish that once she's begun the task, she'll put 110% into seeing it through, and putting a stop to this thing's reign of terror (and gathering some sweet loot along the way) is no exception.

And where would she be without a trusty captain to cart her and the rest of the crew across the seven seas? Snowflake's summoned them both because of their expertise - Yuuki's with the game, and Auralia's with her ship. As the two enter the deck and announce their presence, she slowly looks up from the table, the flying debris around it freezing suddenly now that Weiss isn't messing with it.

"Kept you waiting, huh?" she says as she spins around, a smug grin on her face. Her rapier isn't in its usual place at her side, nor are her quartet of flintlocks - they seem to be off to the side, floating in their own crafting benches with various modifications highlighting certain pieces. "Sorry I've kept you in the dark about this, but for a long time I've been working on what I find to be THE superior end-game weapon. It's got excellent damage-per-second, bestows incredible buffs to allies, applies crushing debuffs to enemies, and, most importantly of all, is simply the most awesome." She crosses her arms, that grin growing even wider.

One more thing the two may notice is her music library, on display to the side of the bench. It contains what seems to be pirate shanties, all by the band 'Alestorm'. Was she listening to a soundtrack as she crafted...?
Yuuki Konno     Yuuki pauses, giving this some thought. "That sounds pretty awesome." she agrees, though she doesn't seem to be as enthused at the suggestion as Snowflake is. "You sure you got a real recipe here? That seems a bit O-P to me." she notes playfully. "I mean, a weapon that buffs, debuffs, AND does lots of damage? You make this, you're not going to need any of us around!" Yuuki teases.
Zephyr Windstar     "Do whatchya want cuz a pirate is free." quips Auralia, remaining where she is. "I just like to know what my crew are off doing when they're going to the Island of Frozen Pines, the Volcanic Center, /and/ the Shrouded Bay."

She finally pushes off the bulkhead, and ruffles Yuuki's hair playfully, before draping an arm around the shorter girl's shoulders. "Anyway, spill it, what's this wonder weapon? This is the first I've heard of such a weapon that does all that on its own." she then grins teasingly. "But if it's true, you'd really turn into the Special Snowflake of the ship."
Weiss Schnee     Snowflake gives a small bow, accepting the praise with grace and mild condescension - after a good disdainful glare at Auralia first, of course. "You're about to find out, cap'n," she replies to Auralia. "I didn't just go wandering off to the Cape of the Damned without a party to pick daisies, trust me. Well, maybe a few," she says with a smirk. "And don't worry, Yuuki, it's only overpowered if it's in the hands of someone as dexterous as me." Grade A reassurance right there. "But enough fluff! Ladies and gentleladies, I present to you... the Devil's Anthem!"

As she dramatically announces her proclaimed 'ultimate weapon,' she steps to the side and gestures at it, revealing the recipe hovering above the table - a fiddle of gold. Not a colossal sword, not a gun that does everything - it's a fiddle. A fancy one, at that. From the top of its head to the bottom of its strings, its solid gold body is engraved with elaborate depictions of glorious battle between what looks like a demon and a young boy. Even the strings are like gilded silk, delicate yet refined.
Yuuki Konno     Yuuki has no problem with having her hair ruffled, and even seems to lean in for the contact. Hey Auralia's a friend, and Yuuki's pretty big on being close to people and touching. She smirks at Snowflake's tart reply, enjoying the banter.

Then she pauses, blinks. "Oooh. Oh! I see!" she claims, gaining sudden eager enthusiasm. "Buffs and debuffs by tapping into the bard... er, singer skills!" she grins. Assuming Snowflake's been building her in-game music skills, that'd work pretty well. Though given how she's been power-training her state, there's little doubt she's trained in this relatively obscure combat assist art.

"But... damage?" Yuuki pauses, looking sceptical. She holds out her arm in a duelling stance, shakes her head, then brings her arm back and doubles up on the invisible grip of a weapon, readying what looks like either an invisible baseball bat or a great hammer. "Are you gonna be hitting people with a golden violin?" she asks, getting the instrument wrong. Hey, how would she know?
