War Witch     The transmitter that Elites delivered to a lab in Peregrine Island awhile back is being investigated. But communications with the laboratory has gone down, and just to make sure everything is okay, Elites have been called in to investigate. As the heroes enter into the labs, the smooth white walls, with in-set lights, the passage ahead of them from the high-tech sliding security doors shows no signs of anyone else in the area.

The lab is strangely quiet today. No conversation, no footsteps, no machinery... And if something is wrong, there are no sounds of combat either. What's going on here?
Silica     Silica's ears are folded down pensively as she enters the labs. "I don't like this... even the easiest Dungeons have /something/ in the start room." she says, gripping her Dagger defensively. Pina remains nearby its master, beady eyes scanning for threats. She's staying near the back of the group, where her Support skills will be put to best use.
Alexis Getting out to Peregrine Island is little problem. Alexis has several pokemon capable of flying, and seeing as they were going indoors, had stuck to something a bit smaller. Though, all the same, she still pokeballed the Flygon afterwards, for the sake of not being too crowded.

Getting inside the facility, her grimace only tighted more. "I know this is cliche to say," she mutters at the eerie stillness. "But this is quiet. -Too- quiet."
< Not to mention devoid of any visible sort of disaster. > replies the small catlike form following her, after brushing the wall with a paw. < How disappointing. >
Alexis paused just long enough to turn her head and shoot a look at the Meowstic. "Must you always be so morbid about it?"
< I have every right to feel let down, > retorts the feline Psychic, waving said paw at the wall. < You cannot tell me that the lack of any visible CONFLICT is not just as disenheartning as the lack of ACTIVITY. >
"... Yeah." On that thought Alexis reachs over her shoulder to pull her augmented hockey stick out of her bag. "As much as I hate agreeing with you, Catalyst, you do have a point."
Richard Stadler The UH-60 skims the water from the mainland to the island, the smooth surface of the ocean making it easier to keep just a few meters from sea level without dashing into a hard surface and killing everyone on board. It would at least keep the islands defenses (because research facilities on islands alway seemed to have /some/ anti-air defenses, baffingly enough) from pegging them until they got closer, by which time a dazzling show of fireworks from dispensers spitting flares would keep them out of it just long enough for Rick and his small fire team to jump out of the door, joining the rest in the lab.

<<Raptor team, X-Ray 6 Actual. Infiltrating with one fire team. Keep the bird close by with the reaction force close by. If we need reinforcements in there, I want them on station immediately. Let me know when any other support assests arrive. We don't know how bad it's going to be in there.>>

And then...

Nothing. The loud, flashing, storm of an entrance was met by pristine walls, active electricity... and not a soul in sight as the four man team enters the room, rifles up in a diamond formation toward the door. It would have almost been better, almost, for them to walk in to a charnal house of blood and entrials across the floors, smashed lighting, flashing alarm lights, automated voices talking about a containment breach. That gave you information. You could plan for that.

"Keep close." Stadler says, in a low voice. He had two rifleman and a medic (who still knew how to shoot). Well trained... but not Delta Force in the least. A quick not to Alexis as he walks forward. "I know. Don't like it. It's like everyone packed up and left neatly, without a fuss, and I have a bad feeling not knowing why."
Maya It doesn't take long for Maya whose known more commonly as the Blue Witch here as she enters in just a bit after Silica. Maya also certainly looke dthe part with he costume she tended to use in the city. Hey it workdf and not that Maya would admit more than just trying to fit in? She had fun with it and she looks over to Rick and Alexis. Maya mused it seemed some of the oldest Union Elites still in this sector had all come out today. alsop Silica whose more than proven herself since the SAO ciris was here too.
Hiro Hamada     "This. Is. AWESOOOOOOOOOOME!"

Super Hiro is crouched on the back of the Mighty Baymax as the two of them soar through the sky of this city of heroes. It takes almost no time at all for them to locate the source of what they have volunteered to help investigate. Likely due to the Mighty Baymax's scanners. The Mighty Baymax's rocket thrusters engage as he spins and swirls down towards the lab with heroic stylings that could've only been programmed by the celebratory fistpumping super kid attached to his back! "WOOOOOOOOOOO!"

The Mighty Baymax's response doesn't kick in until they've landed. "Yes. Woo." And seems to be that much more robotically deadpan. However, it does not seem to hinder Super Hiro's excitement one bit.

"Come on, Baymax! There's the lab!" Super Hiro checks his wrist computer's holographic map of their location and gives a point off in the direction of the collected Elites! Super Hiro's feet are in speed running mode which is actually just his little legs moving faster as he catches up with the others. "Hey! Hey guys! Sorry! We had to y'know do heroic stuff on the way over! We're here!" Super Hiro waves a gloved hand at the others. He actually doesn't know if he's late but it's always better to have an excuse ready.

The Mighty Baymax, however, comes up behind Super Hiro and raises an armored finger. "Yes. We had to rescue Gummy Bears from the vending machine." His other hand extends outward towards the Investigating Group with an open bag of gummy bears. "Sharing is caring."

Super Hiro facepalms with slight heroic embarassment, "Unbelievable."
X R E A D Y !

Cerulean light splits the heavens for a single brilliant instant, depositing X at the outskirts of the labs. It doesn't take the android too long to gather with the others and coordinate entry...

And this is why he's walking right behind Silica. he'd probably prefer to be in front, but she's proven quite good at handling herself. So he's there in case anything sneaks up.

"Putting aside the issue with making assumptions... it's pretty obvious that either the Rikti or someone else with an interest in their technology must've infiltrated so silently that nobody here could raise an alarm in time. Something of that nature." He's keeping his voice down though...

Meanwhile all of his sensors are calibrated for high sensitivity, listening for the faintest sounds in the walls...
Cirra Constantine     The ferry to Peregrine Island lowers it's boarding ramp and a single armored woman steps off the boat. The horned helmet turns left and right as the red visor sweeps over the surroundings as she walks towards the Lab in question, coming slowly to a shrp halt at the door.

"Unless said dungeon is attempting to lure in the unprepared." She replies to Silica. And the horned helmet turns to look over the doors again.

She steps forward to see if the sliding doors activate, and if they do, she motions with one arm for others to follow. "But rigging the front door isn't as effective as rigging the second or third."
War Witch     The doors opened to allow everyone inside in the first place. If the laboratory wasn't on lock-down due to it being normal operating hours, then there'd be no reason for a bunch of heroes to be kept from entering, right? Or the security system is down because something is wrong. Maybe the same something as caused the communications failure? Could it just be a mechanical issue?

The sound of weapons fire suddenly rings through the halls ahead. Stop-and-start firing of some kind of strange-sounding weapon. Semi-automatic rifle, maybe? Though with something added to it that's altering the noise produced. Well, whatever the case, clearly there's a fight going on after all. And there are cries of alarm and pain, though the words don't make much sense.

"Keep your peepers on that cog! I don't parse how it got through, but we're not going to belly-up for a tin-man!" a woman's voice comes over the sound of more weapons fire. The hall ahead of them ends a T-intersection, with a one passage going right, and one left. The sounds of battle seem to be coming from the right.
Alexis Alexis is use to dealing with bombastic trainers and bombastic pokemon, so she doesn't even flinch at the abrupt arrival of the young hero. Or maybe use to reigning them in would be more appropriate. "Cool the jets a little, kid. I don't think anyone's realized we're here yet."

A few Gummy Bears float out of the offered bag telekinetically and into the Meowstics paw. She takes one between two claws. < I find they are more delicious if you end their sweet suffering quickly. > Which is probably why she bites the head right off first.

Alexis starts to make a remark but stops when gunfire actually breaks the silence. "That's a little more like it... I mean, sign of activity. Not the shooting. Shooting is rarely good." She rests her weapon over a shoulder with one hand, and grabs Meowstic by the neck scruff with the other. "See if you can pick up anything."

Calmly despite being roughly picked up Catalyst pops the rest of the headless gummy bear in her mouth. < Do I look like a Lucario to you? Aura reading is not my thing. >

"Oh nevermind!" Alexis huffs, followed by grumbling under her breath at psychics as she darts off in the direction of the gunfire. "One of you techie people scan for life signs if you can!"

It's just a sensible thing to ask at a time like this. She has no idea that one or maybe both of the robots present can do that sort of thing.
Silica     Silica is just getting a bit settled into the grove, starting to put her gameface on. She's lifting her hands to begin an incantation, words of power resolving around her as she begins to chant.

    And then Hiro happens.

Three things happen all at once. Silica's tail POOFS out comically, her ears splay as she turns around... and she explodes in a puff of short lived black smoke as the spell is interrupted and backfires.

Kaff kaff. "Wh-What's going on? Don't /DO/ that!" she gripes, stomping a foot in a fit of pique as she folds her arms over her chest and just glares at Hiro for a moment or two.

And Baymax saves the boys proverbial. "Ooo, gummy bears? Are there any orange ones?" she asks, skipping over, the pique forgotten as easily at it came.

Unfortunately the gunfire strikes up next, and the girl twirls, Gummy Bear in hand and remembers what she was doing before. "Oh right!" she stuffs the treat in her mouth, munches on it then incants once more. The words lock in around her in flowing yellow norse script, and as the activation word is spoken, a swirling shield of interlocked hexagons forms around every member of the group, granting them some measure of protection from damage.

"I'll be on support duty. I can heal a bit, and have some magic attacks. If anything gets close, don't worry about me too much, I'm one of the best Dagger Users in ALO."
Richard Stadler At the sounds of the front doors bursting open, there's a flicker of movement, amd the three soldiers following Stadler whirl around, three HK416s pointed right at the boy and his robot, fingers tightening on the triggers for just a split second in muscle memory before they relax, look slightly embarassed, and cover it up by scowling at Hiro, a single hiss, 'Fucking hell!" sounding from at least one of them. Stadler's head, to his credit, just looks back for a single moment. "You're not late, but I'm mirroring the cat. Get on the comm net, and for fuck's sake, be a bit /quieter/." He says... Before looking behind him one more. "Corporal."

A woman with a radio on her back looks behind her, rifle still up at Hiro, before sighing, reaching into the bag for a handful of gummy bears, and distrubing them to the team.. including one to the man up front. He's just munching on those when the gunfire comes up.

The swirling shield is caught by a little more suprise, but at least Hiro innoculated the group from pointing their guns at the cat girl next. "Move up, to the right." He says, pointing to the right hand corridor. "Cover rear. I'm not getting suprised by anyone coming to hit us from behind." He says, before shaking his head at Alexis. "Place had virii floating around in an aerosol, I'm you're man, but I don't have anything that advanced.

A slow advance with weapons up, as Rick looks over to Hiro and Baymax again. "That stuff looks like you're a few decades ahead of us. You got anything?"
Maya The Doors open Maya strides in but then she hears the weapons fire, it sounds like some strange semi automatic weapon? She's not sure but there's fight ahead. Hiro and Baymax are new and she falls in with them heck she pauses to pull a card and channel a barrier spell on the two of them to give them some extra protection.

"Welcome aboard, just keep with someone else you two. Things can get wild here."

With that Maya's going to head off towards the sounds of the weapons fire but it is odd, it doesn't sound like standard ballistic weaponry exactly and she's got to wonder about the strange slang. Yet? Maya's on her way and she cloaks with a spell to get a better look at what's going on.
Cirra Constantine     When sounds of combat and shouting echos through the hallways, Cirra summons her crystalsword. "Combat right side." she points to the right as she slides up the left wall of the hallway to check the passage for enemies, signalling wether it's clear.
X Hiro's NOISY entry gets X turning about jumpily!

But once things reom that've died down he just points out, "Giving people WARNINGS you're coming in's a good idea. Startle a group like this badly enough and you might get shot at!" Not by him, but...

He can see a worst case scenario. "I'm called X, and-- hold up..." The robot quiets, picking up the distant sounds of a struggle... and voices. "There's an ongoing battle!" And Silica has him covered!

X stretches an arm out after the unfailiar tingle of magic strikes... and takes note of the shield. He just clenches a fist, steeling up his determination. "Excellent trick. Just wish I knew how it works..."

Cirra turns out to be a step ahead of time. He awaits her signal... and the moment anything's pointed at... he'll bolt ahead for now!
Hiro Hamada     Super Hiro looks as if he's about to jump into some sort of verbal defense about his dramatic entrance. He has an excuse all cued up and ready to rock. He's even got his hands up and the most adorable face he can muster to try and play on the heroic heartstrings of the collected Elites. He doesn't want to get benched or something for being too much. There are people angry and others with rifles and there's just a whole lot of Not Good written all over Hiro's face. He has to say /something/.

    "Uh. Our bad?"

Luckily, things are taken down a much worse road and his facial expression goes from 'innocent rookie hero looking for forgiveness' to 'frown of sadness and worry' at the sound of the gunfire and other commotion of the not too supportive kind.

Baymax is the first of the Dynamic Duo to speak on the sounds, "Oh no." The Gummy Bears are dropped and Baymax moves with some force towards the front of the pack, his cameras scanning everything in front of him with heroic abandon and primary programming. "This is not good. People are hurt." Baymax just relays information back to Hiro and whomever else is listening. "I will help them." Baymax doesn't even seem to be in the business of waiting for the others. He is programmed to help those that are in need and thus he takes off in an adorably armored run! He has people to help!

Hiro, on the other hand, sticks somewhat close to the Elite Squadron. "Let me see what I can find." Hiro gets to working on his wrist computer and pulls up a holofeed from Baymax's cameras so that he can see what Baymax sees. "We're right behind you, buddy." Hiro shoots through the personalized BH6 comms between himself and Baymax before turning his attention back to his wrist computer. "Unless there's security cameras I can piggy back off of-- whoa. Idea. Camera Drones. Gotta' make those." Hiro makes a couple of mental notes before he falls in line with the rest of the group again.
War Witch     As the assembled heroes make their way around the corner, by direct means or by stealth, they come across a chilling vision. During their approach, down the 35 foot long entry corridor, the sounds of yells have been cut off one by one, and weapons fire has decreased until the final rifle stopped firing.

They see why, as they witness bodies of people in some sort of semi-futuristic paramilitary gear, somewhat piecemealed together from 'outdated' flak jackets and other 'modern' equipment, with occasional accents and augmentations of inner-lit armor and high-tech gizmos. They're still alive, but heavily injured. There appear to be swords of various designs sticking out of them. And one person a woman with aviator goggles or something like them, red lenses cracked over her eyes and blood trailing from her mouth, is currently being held up-one handed by her throat as she kicks and struggles in the air. A red-haired young man is holding her up, and as pieces of metal seem to get pulled out of the air in a crackle of electricity, assembling into a blade in his freehand.

He rams a sword with a yin-yang symbol on the guard into the military woman's stomach and twists it until she stops fighting. Then he drops her on the ground and turns to face the new arrivals in the process of making sure the other enemies are downed.

Yellow-brown eyes take in the heroes in seeming innocent surprise. Like what he's just done is of lesser importance than seeing more people here. "Eh? Did you hear the distress signal too?" The young man asks as he stands there in a simple t-shirt and pants combo, easil recognizable to those who know him. He frowns a bit and he continues explaining obliviously, "These people were trying to break into a room up ahead... I thought this city had some kind of medical teleporter system, but they aren't being rescued." He smiles brightly in a very smooth, precise manner.

"Why don't you go on ahead, and I'll take them to the hospital?" Shirou Emiya asks, his face, hands, and clothing stained with the blood of the people lying around him.
Silica     Silica's eyes go wide. "Wh-what?!" she's been out in the Multiverse, and using Wander Mode long enough that the sight of bloodied bodies doesn't faze her as much as it really should. But the shock is still enough to get her ears flat down against her skull, and her tail to wind around a leg.

As the young man speaks so calmly, Silica's magenta eyes shift from the bodies, to him, before she steps forwards, sheathing her Dagger and stalking right out towards him. "This was too far." she says, before dropping into a crouch near one of the fallen paramilitary guys. "Hey, it's okay, I'm going to heal you." she coos gently, holding her hands out and speaking a well known spell.

"Su Firra Heiraguru Ausutoru, Burotto subaru bani." Soft green light emits from her open palms, and bathes the fallen soldier. The magic wouldn't bring him back to full fighting ability, but get him stabilized enough to get out of the area.
X Coming across a young man, dressed not for battle but the streets... and able to CONJURE SWORDS... who's so cooly ramming them into people... freaks X right the heck out.

The blue fighting robot freezes in place, flinching and biting down the urge to SCREAM at what he sees. Rage seethes within. "You... what are you DOING?!"

Of course, with Silica beginning SPELLCASTING around a being that's giving him... the willies?

... he quickly shuffles up next to her with an arm stretched out protectively.

Although for now he just watches this redhead, clearly focusing ALL his attention on him.
Maya Maya comes across a brutal fight who ever these guys are they did not have a good time of it. They didn't look like any known villian or hero group she knew of from this world. She stared in horror at someone who seems to be Shirou but something seems off the brutality of how he disabled that last one? They can't be local heroes then but who are they. She is vautious now as she now move sto be pulling out several cards and going to work on them, she knows a fight is brewing and she seems to be trying to help heal the downed mystery people. Though she has enough sense about dealing with the swords in many of them.

"If any of you have healing or medical skills it would be welcome."

Maya's angry but she's not going to let people die about this...
Cirra Constantine     Cirra lifts up her sword as they find the group of bodies and... Silica moves to heal the wounded, 'Shirou' wants to take them to the hospital while the others go on ahead.

"..." Cirra rushes forward, swinging her sword upwards and diagonally to cut Shirou off from where Silica is trying to heal one of the paramilitary types. "Stay back!"
Alexis Even knowing fights between people with phenominal powers can get a bit messy doesn't make this any less of a harrowing display to come skidding around a corner to. First her eyes widen slightly, and then Alexis narrows them a bit at the enactor of the scene.

< Oh. Yes. This is much more interesting. > Catalyst remarks almost a little too calmly, the Meowstic still dangling from Alexis' other hand. < Look, that one over there is still squirming. And there is a rather interesting shape to the blood splatter on the floor. > The plops the last gummy bear into her mouth like she was watching some kind of show.

"Stuff it before I stuff you back in your ball," Alexis snaps irrately at the pokemon, though not daring to take her eyes off the man in middle of the scene. "... He's right about the medical teleport thing." Which doesn't seem to be working? Not good. Something doesn't add up right here. Distress signal? Didn't they come because there was -no- communication at all?

"Uh huh." One brow raises just a bit more than the other, still scrutinizing. "A little overboard, ain't it?"
< Before you ask. > Being a psychic the Meowstic can comment even while licking gummy bear stickiness off her claws. < I am not a lie detector either. >
Alexis tries to not twitch. "What kind of psychic -are- you?"
< The kind that blows shit up with my mind, of course > replies Catalyst with complete casuality.

Ponytail sways as Alexis shakes her head. Gives 'Shirou' another narrowed gaze. "Looks like they've got healing them covered." Instead of commenting on the 'distress signal' she just shrugs, and plays it cool enough to go walk past the man. Someone here is after something, and if possible it would be better to be on the other side, between him/them and whatever it is someone came after. "I wonder what anyone would want way out here, anyways..."
Hiro Hamada     Baymax doesn't care about the person that's actually stabbing peope with swords. His programming is to help people and he's rushing towards the fallen in an attempt to help the ones that are in the most dire of straits. "I am Baymax. I am here to help you." Baymax has obliterated focus on anything that isn't the wounded. He is here to save lives.

Baymax did take the millisecond necessary to scan Shirou though.

Hiro skids to a halt as the Elite Squadron ends up in the heat of the action. He narrows his eyes at the kid that's in the center of all this and he runs up towards him. He doesn't get too close but he's close enough to look at him like he's lost his dang mind.

"What did you /do/?" Hiro looks like he's completely not ready for this kind of stuff. He got into the superhero business to help people... not to see this kind of stuff. It's really messing with him though he tries to put on a heroic face. "You need to stand down." While he attempts to do his distractionary talking shenanigans, Hiro seems to also be activating the magnets in the palms of his gloves. He's juicing them up for some prime 'metal attraction' action if he's going to need it. "Baymax? Can you help them?"

"I will do my best, Hiro." Baymax is in full on Super Nurse Mode!
Richard Stadler Rick really didn't know weather or not to be concerned as the rifle fire slow cuts down from a lot to a little. Didn't even know that, when the they come across these paramilitary folks, if they're the good guys or not (though given the looks of this lab, it probably wasn't the type to hire contractors that were this slipshod. Not as if they were doing a good job as guards or robbers either way. Nevertheless... When Rick and his people enter the long corridor, rifles were /not/ lowered. They were shouldered, aimed, and have the only unexplained source of violence in front of them covered. Rick, being the leader, has his rifle hanging on a combat sling. It's important to project an aura of confidence for people... esspecially aganist a man who just slaughtered a large amount of people and looks like he might be more angry about having to dry clean his clothes than the lives he just took.

"Specialist." Rick says, simply, and a man with a Red Cross armband on, still looking with concern at Shirou, moves to the side, to help those medical personnel with his own EMT bag. The other two rifleman move to flank Rick as his right hand moved to his side, deftly unclasping a holster and drawing the Browning enclosed there, before stepping to Hiro's side. "TO be completely honest, I'm agreeing with the kid. I don't know you very well, but I do know you just killed a number of these people and didn't stop when they didn't transport away. And you don't look too broken up about it. Counteroffer: You head out the door, and leave this facility, and we'll head forward."

He cocks his head, finger visably drawing the hammer back on the automatic for an easier trigger pull. "Unless you care to explain, with a group of heroes here already, it's of vital importance that you Fifth Wheel along."
War Witch     Shirou runs a hand through his hair in a very deliberate way to express dissatisfaction or frustration, even if he is still very calm about this, as Silica, Maya, Baymax, and start healing the downed fighters. "Oi, that's no good. They'll just get up and start fighting again. I said I'd take them to the--" there's a brief, almost imperctible delay, as his eyes seem to move off to the side briefly, at seemingly nothing, before reorienting on those before him and continuing on. "--hospital. A hero cleans up his own messes. I'm not going to let them die. So..."

He starts forward, feet moving rhythmically, with surprising finesse and speed as he heads towards Sillica, one arm lifting, hand outstretching. And then in a tone that is a whole other level of disturbing simply because there IS no tone. His expression is neutral, his eyes not reflecting the light, and his following words are just completely without warmth or human inflection. Cold, hollow, precise, like something trying to reproduce human speech and human mannerisms but coming across as a sophisticated fake. Ironically, less human than a thinking feeling robot like X, "...Let me handle it."

But then X is in his way, protecting Silica, and Cirra is swinging swords in his path, and he stops short of the blade's arc, practically frozen in place as his eyes evaluate the threat. As Hiro and Richard and Richard's forces all stand against him, the teenager steps back and lowers his hand. There's almost visibly boxes being mentally ticked as he scans everyone and sees their responses to him. Then he cheerfully (in a way that doesn't reach his lightless eyes) says, "Heroes should work together. It sure is a good that you came along when you did. My magecraft can't save lives. I can only fight to protect them." He then turns and starts heading deeper into the facility. "Until we've made sure the researchers are okay, let's stick together. Splitting up in a situation like this isn't a good idea. It's a good thing I got that training from Sir Bedivere. I'm okay getting hurt if it means others don't have to be, but if I get overwhelmed, who is going to protect others?"

This odd speech he goes off on as he walks down the hall and towards the next corner is almost like he's reciting lines of dialogue. It's just... WEIRD. What prompted him to start reminding people of who trained him? To reinforce how much of a hero he is? His attitude isn't the same as Shirou's might be remembered as. For one thing, he smiles far too much to be THAT Shirou.

Unless someone stops him, he follows along with or leads the way to a set of damaged security doors that look they were in the process of being hacked open via console next to it before something on the other side pried them open far enough to let people through. There's a humming sound up ahead either way.

And on the other side of the doors, odd machines may be spotted floating through the air on patrol, as armored aliens terrorize a crowd of people in lab coats.
Alexis It is kind of sad when this Shirou is giving her even creepier vibes than the intentionally morbid Meowstic does. Alexis doesn't trust him and the way he's acting... but he's following them instead of trying to stop the medics, so that's... something. They've got bigger problems to deal with.

Especially considering that doorway is already busted open and there's... armored things on the inside. She's going to guess those are the aliens, looking for the transmitter thing. And they have drones. Well at least X doesn't have to worry about shooting living things! At least at first.

"Okay Lil Miss Blow Things Up With Her Mind," Alexis snorts softly as she drops the Meowstic back to the floor. "Time to live up to that bragging."

< Is it bragging if its true? > Catalyst retorts. And then just... bloop.. she seems to disappear. Blinking short distances seems to be a thing for Psychic pokemon, regardless if they learn Teleport or not, because she appears in the room a moment later. Her eyes flicker for a moment as she points at one of the armored aliens, and aims a burst of kinetic force at the back of its head, trying to briefly stun it with Fake Out. <Oh what a lovely day. I get to probe an alien instead of the other way around~ > She sounds way too cheerful about this.
Maya Maya pauses at the sutter this isn't Shirou she's certain of it now, but for the momnt she's got healing to do and she's going to have to trust n the others as they fight the Faux Shirou. Man when he hears about /this/. She would get into the fight but whoever these people that the Faux Shirou trashed? Yas she's going ot be busy and the strange pink glows keep coming from them. Some she's going to need help from Baymax as even with healing magic? One needs to get the wound side cleaned and the like. She'll just have to trust in everyone else to fight.
Hiro Hamada     Super Hiro & The Mighty Baymax hang back. There are enough people that can go forth and try to stop the aliens. There are people to help and make sure that they can survive the brutality that happened before they got here.

Baymax moves from one body to the next, administering proper medical treatment and assisting with the bandaging and treating of wounds. Hiro does the same, more wanting to assist Baymax than go forth and fight the good fight. Tadashi wanted to use Baymax to help people and that's exactly what Hiro's going to do.
X "I don't trust you!" X exclaims solidly to Shirou. "What it takes to incapacitate a human... I'm well aware of how fragile life is, and THESE wounds could kill in MINUTES!"

X... is similar though. He can't save lives like the others here with their healing magics and other resources. He can only fight to protect them.

That line hits him pretty hard. Why was he built like this? He can't repair damage that's been done...

It's a thing to ponder on... but... LATER.

For now, he gives the others a solemn, worried look... and tails Shirou. But his left hand shifts into the X-Buster as he dashes off... almost more in pursuit than 'following along.'

"What's the plan then, Mr. Hero?" X asks quickly, upon taking stock of the situation. It's pretty clear to X who needs protecting here!
Silica     Silica turns to look as 'Shirou' starts walking towards her. She finishes the spell animation, and with a subtle shift, and a darkening of her features that the others who've seen her fight would recognize, her hand is suddenly on the blade of her Dagger, half drawing it.

X actually stops her from lashing out, she has zero qualms about shanking things that are obviously not living creatures, when they're threatening her. Directly or indirectly.

She looks around at the group, but doesn't return to the formation as the rest move onwards. Instead, she moves to the next wounded trooper, shifting her weapon out of reach and repeating her incantation, MP bar slowly draining. "Don't try to move, My healing has only stopped the bleeding. Stay here." she says, keeping the downed soldier from squirming.
Cirra Constantine     Cirra keeps her gaurd up as Shirou turns away towards the other end of the hallway. She frowns at how he talks, it almost didn't make sense, it was just... chopped up." The Judge turns to look at the others that look like professional soldiers like Richard and points to her eyes, then at Shirou's back.

Moving with the rest of the party, she notes the forced door and frowns, then the scene beyond. "Rikti." The sword snaps open into a railgun-like rifle, which the Judge starts firing crystaline bullets at the flying drones as she moves sideways out of the doorway to draw their fire away from the rest of the group.
Richard Stadler Stadler still looks... concerned at Shirou, in that way a soldier does when he has a gun in hand, which just makes it a little bit dangerous. "Right. Hospital. This is battlefield medicine, and we're on an island. Even if there's a medical facility nearby, we don't have the time to pull them out now, or the safety to call paramedics in. Which means triage /here/." He notes. For a moment, he looks like he's going to try (/try/) to go through Shirou first before ending the labs, but it simply comes down to him staring at him hard for a good thrity seconds, hand not leaving the grip of his pistol, but not twitching up to him either. At the end, though, he nods to the Specialist. "Take care of here. We'll take care of of what's in there." And... as he walks away, his hand goes up to his ear. "You've got the position... copy. Heavy. Breach on down, ground floor. Go on your entry."

Stadler's forces stack up at the door, before he yells out, loudly. "They're in here! Get that door open!" Firing a pistol toward the Rikti and drones inside. That has very little effect. What /does/ have an effect is the sudden /explosion/ from the roof of the labrotory, away from hostages, concreate coming down as two ropes decend and black clad Spec Ops rappel down. Silenced bullpups are pointed toward enemies and start putting fire in them with pinpoint precision, as Stadler actually makes an effort to force through the door at the same time, assault rifles from his team firing. Two direcetions, maximum confusion.
War Witch     As the heroes who go forth to confront the enemy (and to keep an eye on the increasingly-likely-to-be-a-robotic-replica) engage the aliens and their drones, several things happen at once. First, almost immediately, one Rikti moves behind its allies, brings up its arm band and starts tapping away at it. Moments later, as bullets and crystalline rounds and psychic blows to the back of the head are all piled onto the enemies, while they try to reorient amidst the confusion to fire back with energy weapons that may cause being knocked off one's feet or having motor control temporarily impaired if the Elites succumb to the effects, a shaft of green light appears as chunks of ceiling rain down from above.

From that green light, the air seems to turn into a tunnel in the air, from which Rikti reinforcements begin to emerge. Thankfully, before that can go much farther, 'Shirou' forms a pair of swords out of the air, the mechanism not feeling like magic to anyone who can sense such. Instead, it's more like he's breaking down and then reassembling atoms from his surroundings, creating his weapons in a manner more like alchemy than the 'projection' the real Shirou used.

This 'Shirou' combines the two weapons into a bow and arrow, reshaping the blades by manually adjusting their atomic structure. Then he pulls back and lets fly with a sword-arrow directly into the chest of the Rikit Communication Officer. The armor being worn keeps it from being fatal, but that looks like it hurt, and the impact is enough to slam the alien into the wall, knocking it out. The portal will shut down a little while later, but three or four Rikti Conscripts have emerged before that happens.

"The plan is to save people." 'Shirou' responds cheerfully to X. "That's what heroes do." He says this even as he creates another sword-arrow out of the air and prepares to fire it.

Meanwhile, as the Resistance fighters become conscious again, brought back from the brink of death, thanks to Baymax, Hiro, Maya, and Silica, they seem very confused about what's going on. "...Powers Division?" one of them asks warily and dazedly, searching around for something, possibly her weapon. But instead she just checks urgently on the status of a box-like arm band that she quickly inserts into her own armor. "Sorry, Blueberries, but we're not going to get Juiced today." Then she tap-tap-taps on the buttons, and a green portal appears with a sound of air and space being shredded, much like the one in the lab proper. But this one seems unstable enough to start drawing those nearby towards it, including the ones treating them. Like it's a hole with a vacuum on the other side instead of a tunnel through space.

Unless the medical heroes get back, they may find themselves getting pulled towards the portal too, as the Resistance fighter tries to drag her allies towards it.
Alexis "Oh for fucks sake!" Alexis curses loudly when one of the alien's opens a portal in middle of the room. "Goddamn aliens, always fucking with physics however they like!" Wisely, she hooks the end of her stick around a work station instead of getting into the middle of the fight herself for a change, using it for some impromptu cover.

Catalyst on the other hand is right in the middle of it. The defense buffs from other people help, but the alien energy blasts aren't completely defused by the protection and still hit with enough oomph to make her skid backwards on the floor. There's an eeriely long pause before the feline stands back up, eyes doing that sparkly glow most Psychic types do when they're really getting ramped up. < This is no longer fun. > But the glowing eyes aren't the thing to be worried about.

The Meowstic raises her ears. For those that don't know, this is a Scary Thing. See, keeping their ears folded down is how Meowstics limit their power output. When the ears go up?

The psionic blast released is much MUCH larger than the small Pokemon would suggest. It's more like some kind of psychic bomb going off, with the Meowstic at the center of the metaphysical explosion.

"NOW I remember why I keep you around," Alexis snarks a bit... and one gets the feeling it wasn't the -aliens- she was taking cover from!
Maya Maya wonders who made a double of her friend like that? To what aim? She's not sure,Maya looks at them confused for a moment.

"Power what?"

Maya looks honestly confused the Resistance fighters however are bolding into the portal and vanish without much of a trace.

"...and not even a thank you?!"

She sighs but they didn't seem to be looking for a fight. Who where they? She has no idea at all about them.

She's back on her feet now and she's moving to cast lightning spells on the remaining hostiles Shoudl there be any left.
Silica     "Silica." replies the Cait Sith to the Resistance fighter. Then things happen, and a portal opens up, starting to pull her toward it. "Oh, um..." she skitters back away from the portal, blinking as someting clicks in her mind. "That... looks kinda like a Rikti portal." she says after the Resistance fighters are gone. "Have they been scavenging Rikti tech?" she ponders.
War Witch     As the assembled heroes take out the remaining Rikti with an array of weapons, powers, and skills, at some point during the battle, 'Shirou' slips away. He never fired that second sword-arrow. And from what the healers will report, the paramilitary bunch vanished into an unstable-looking Rikti portal. It's unclear if wherever they were going as a place they reached safely.

But one thing is for sure, the researchers are safe, and nobody died.

One of the scientists comes forward, identifying herself as Dr. Allison Dower. "Thank you, everyone. A Rikti portal appeared in the hallway outside, even though we have teleportation suppressors in place. Some people came out of it, but when we locked the main doors, another portal opened on our side of them, and Rikti came out! They may have used the first portal as a beacon to use to get inside." The doctor shakes her head. "I think they know we're trying to break their code. I better work on that transmitter quickly."

At least all's well that ends well.
