Lapis Lazuli Lapis Lazuli was relaxing out on the beach, at the bottom on the hill. A small pool had been dug into the sand and she was currently relaxing inside of it, the water helping to keep her calm as she enjoyed the sun. She was doing much better! She'd even allowed Peridot to leave her alone in the house. Her gem wasn't cracking anymore and she was about 99% sure that she wasn't have a very nice vision. If she was, she hoped she didn't wake up. This one was nice. Aside from the fact she accidentally damaged the television, but she was sure Peridot could fix it.

For now, however, she was enjoying the cold, slightly sandy water. It helped with her gem, keeping her relaxed and calm for now. She did hope Steven would return home soon, however. She missed her wings.
Ixqor Nathrach Ixqor Nathrach || The early evening sky that hanged out over the calm, undisturbed shoreline was beautiful. The sun was just beginning to fall down behind the waves that calmly ended up on shore. A flock of seagulls passed out over the water, gliding peacefully. Their flight was interrupted however, as small bits of lightning crackled, seemingly from nowhere. The source then began to render itself visible, as a 'hole' began to open up in thin air. Sparks and oddly multicoloured smoke clouds spilt from the portal and startled the birds. They screeched and cawed, dispersing rapidly, heading in all directions as fast as they could. The portal then had fully expanded, being wide, and tall enough to fit a rather large person. And so that person came, taking a step out onto the open air. He was caught off by the lack of a ground beneath his feet, and thusly fell from his gateway, unable to catch himself on anything tangible! The man was clad in old, somewhat tattered brown robes that covered his whole body. The hood he dawned was pulled off of he fell into the water, crashing against the luckily gentle waves. Moments passed, and he had yet to surface, while the portal above his landing had slowly closed back up, leaving no trace.
Lapis Lazuli Lapis Lazuli stared at this strange scene, her mouth falling open. Well, she supposed whatever that was, it was dealt with now. After all, it-- No. Wait. Humans couldn't breath under water, could they? She tried to remember. Finally, she shrugged and held out her hand. The waters around the human reseeded on either side, leaving him on dry land with a narrow strip of land from him to, well, the beach.

She called out to him after a moment. "Human! Does your species require air? and can you breath underwater?" If he said yes, she'd just let the waves crash in on him again.
Ixqor Nathrach Ixqor Nathrach fell onto the soggy seaside bottom, taking deep breathes as he hit the wet sand with a thud. He looked around him, carefully observing the waves. Was he being saved, or trapped? Always paranoid, he looked to his blade, and sighed with relief as it was still in it's sheethe, and still hooked onto his belt. Ixqor stood up and heard the voice calling to him. He turned about face slowly. "I cannot... I thank you for your assistance. " He began to trudge forward, his clothes already soaked with salty seawater. He was thankful that at least the beach was not polluted, or so it seemed. He stopped at the end of the path made for him and took in his surroundings. The sky seemed calm, and the mountainside housing told them this planet was at least civilized. And then there was the being who assisted him. They looked quite odd, humanlike, but with blue skin, and encrusted gems on their bodies. Perhaps it was a form of adornment. Were they 'nobility'? And her powers, were they a sorcerer like himself? All of these questions ran through his mind as he tried to gauge his situation. All he could tell at the moment was that he was soaked, and mildly displeased.
Lapis Lazuli Lapis Lazuli nodded and then blinked, staring at him. Her eyes were like mirrors, the gemstone on her back holding a large crack. Not that he could see it. She stared at him for a long while before frowning. "Are you a threat to Steven or the Crystal gems? Do you consider yourself enemies to them?" She lowered her hand and the waves crashed back in a moment later, covering the seabed once again. She eyed him suspiciously. A shame she didn't have pupils, as it made it hard to see where she was looking.
Ixqor Nathrach Ixqor Nathrach raised a brow at the sudden inquiry. Steven? Crystal gems? Clearly people of great import to this one, Ixqor pondered. Even from a small distance his size was imposing, standing at nearly seven and a half feet tall. He was bald, with palid skin and a clean shaved face. The only object to note on his person that the robes did not hide was the hilt of his blade. It stuck out from the side of his waist, the shinning eight pointed star shimmering in the setting suns light on the end of the hilt. "A threat? No. Unless they would threaten me. I know nothing of this dimension or world... The Warp is fickle, and spat me out here, rather than where I wished to go. What is this place? What planet am I on?" His accent was cultured, each word rolling off of his tongue with an austere air to it.
Lapis Lazuli Lapis Lazuli nodded and relaxed in the pool again. "I... see. This is... earth. This is Beach city. Called that because it is on a beach." Very original name. "As long as you don't cause any problems, there should be no threats to you. If you decide to... then the crystal gems won't like you." She sunk a little lower into the water, so just her head was up. If he came too close, he'd only get the one warning. She didn't know him and she certainly didn't trust him. But he seemed human enough and Steven was awfully fond of them.

"My name is Lapis Lazuli, a lapis lazuli. A... pleasure to meet you, I suppose. You're not a comrade of Peridot's, then?"
Ixqor Nathrach Ixqor Nathrach widdened his eyes briefly but then calmed his nerves. He always forgets, Holy Terra, or Earth, as it is more commonly known, is very different in other universes when compared to his own. This version of Terra seemed... Strange then. He took note of the being speaking to him. They were rather curt, but it is to be expected, when your entrance comes from a portal in the sky. This talk of the 'Gems' had him curious however. And the beings name. Lapis? Perdiot? Wer ethe inhabitants of this realm named after various gemstones? Were they a different species entirely. Most likely. His mind wandered again, before he realized he was questioned further. Coming back to reality he spoke. "Ah. No, I know not of this Peridot. And it is a pleasure to meet you as well. Know me as Alpharius." He took a bow, first impressions were everything. "And you say you are both named, Lapis, while being a lapis? Do all minerals in this dimension bear sentience?" Even though these kinds of findings did not further his goals, he was a man of knowledge, and was not about to leave questions unanswered. He took a seat in the sand, across from Lapis, crossing his legs.
Lapis Lazuli Lapis Lazuli stared at him a few times. Truly, he didn't know? She relaxed a little more and closed her eyes. "Ah, no. We are gems, a space fairing race. There are other Lapis', but I am the only one living on earth at this time. As far as I am aware, I think our species are the only sentient ones. You'd need to ask Peridot, though. I haven't been keeping up with things. Being imprisoned for six thousand years will do that to a person," she said with just a hint of sarcasm. She then blinked. "Human, do you know anything about televisions and their repair?"
Ixqor Nathrach Ixqor Nathrach Ixqor nodded as his questions were answered. "I see. Interesting indeed. Never have I encountered a Xenos Race of sentient gems... But I shall ponder on that later." He noted the remark about Lapis' imprisonment. Were they nearly timeless like himself? "Six thousand Years? Even more surprises." He remarked aloud, as though he were still thinking about something. He had little to base it off of, but this new race seemed worthy of further study. If they were as timeless as he believe sthem to be, they could know of the blades he searched for. There may be endless possibilities for universes, but any of them could contain information on the objects of his desire, and therefore every universe must be scowered. ...
Perhaps... Television repair? His pondering mind was interuptted again and he blinked. "Repairs? Why, do you require assistance?" A task like this was beneath him, but perhaps he could meet others of the same species as Lapis, and find out more about their universe. After all, like the Gems, he had a thousand lifetimes to search.
Lapis Lazuli Lapis Lazuli nodded and then got to her feet. "I would hardly have asked if I didn't." She walked out from the pool, looking down at it for a few moments. She then glanced back towards the ocean, then the pool. Her hands lifted up, wrapping around her stomach. "Should I..." She then shook her head. "No, Steven won't care. Follow me, human." She turned and started walking up the hill, pushing the door open.

Once inside, she pointed towards the television. It was... well. It was busted. So very, very busted. A pool of water surrounded it, there were burn marks all around it and half the internals were fried. She... had not taken very good care of it.
Ixqor Nathrach Ixqor Nathrach followed his would be tour guide into the house, being forced to akwardly duck, and turn his broad body sideways in order to enter. Ixqor noted the demolished television and raised a brow. "Interesting." He stepped forward then and held out his hand, a strange purple and pink light forming in his palm. The television pieces were lifted from teh ground and held in the air above the water. He motioned to another side of the room and set the pieces down. "Care to explain why it was nearly submerged? I am... Curious." Moving towards the pile of rubbish, and the destroyed Tv, he got to work, seperating the useless pieces from the working ones, still waiting on an answer as to why it had broke.
Lapis Lazuli Lapis Lazuli nodded. "Yes. I was watching Camp Pining hearts when the volume started getting odd. I tried to fix it and things just got worse." She paused for a moment. "I... then attempted to clean the device, believing it to have perhaps become dirty. It was then that I discovered that these earth devices do not deal with water well. Can you fix it?" A lot of it was trashed. At least it wasn't plugged in.
Ixqor Nathrach Ixqor Nathrach examined teh various pieces, noting the severe burn marks. He couldn't repair it, at least not be conventional means. "Yes, but it will take a moment. If you will stand back for just a moment. And I can't garuntee that this will work, but it's worth a shot." He stood again and extended his hands out towards the pile of bits and parts. From underneath them another portal was opened, similar to the one he fell out of but much smaller. The TV and it's components were sucked in before the portal closed behind them. Ixqor took a deep breathe, as conjuring these portals so willy nilly was somewhat taxing on his mental powers. "Five... Four... Three... Two... " He muttered to Himself before conjuring the portal again in the same spot. A few moments of nothing occured, as the warp lightning idly crackled around the edges of the portal. Suddenly the Television was spat back out again! Being launched from the portal, it landed a foot or so away from it with a clank! Oddly enough, it appeared to be intact, although now it possesed a strange purple and blue aura. IXqor nodded, pleased with the result, and closed the portal.

"Now to test it." He reached down and placed the TV on a nearby table and ran the wire to an outlet. The TV miraculously turned on, but shook rapidly for a few moments before becomming dormant again. A faint squeel died out with the shaking. Ixqor unplugged it again before rubbing his chin with a few fingers. He moved back to the TV and removed it's covering, only to pull out a small, twitching green creature. It was round with a small set of antler like horns. It's mouth tookl up nearly half of it's ball shaped body, and it's long, dead tongue hung out. "Poor Nurgling, got caught in transition." Ixqor remarked casually, as if there were a daily occurance for him.
Lapis Lazuli Lapis Lazuli nodded slowly, eying all of this going on. She acted as if she had any idea what was transpiring, though she supposed it was some kind of strange human or multiverse thing. Truly whatever it was, she was sure it was completely normal and would be fine. "So it should work now?" She idly wondered what that creature was. Probably some kind of earth vermin. That was one good thing about their homeworld, things like that didn't happen.

She walked over to the couch and sat down, pulling her legs up and, with the go ahead, would try to turn the television back on and start her show. After a few moments she'd then blink and look at the video player. "Do you by any chance know how to properly install and set that up?" she'd ask, pointing at it. "Human technology is not something I'm familiar with."
Ixqor Nathrach Ixqor Nathrach set the Nurgling aside, tossing him out onto the sands from the doorway he had moved to. It was likely still alive, but it hardly concerned him. Now he was being asked to install more things? This was quite a strange occurance, but he'd play along if it meant learning more about this realm. "Neither am I, to be frank. At least not this primitive technology. But, it should be simple enough." He began to setup the other device, hooking it up as needed to the TV. "While I work, what can you tell me of your kind's technology? Are you space farring? DO you travel by webway gates? DO you utilize the Warp?" He could go on, but hed leave it ta that for the moment.
Lapis Lazuli Lapis Lazuli stared at the television, smiling once it came on. "Ah, good." After a few more moments the sound of camp pining hearts came on. She let out a soft sigh of contentment, hugging a pillow to her chest. Then she glanced over. "Hm? Oh, we are a space fairing race. We travel from planet to planet, taking them over and rebuilding them to suit our needs and grow more of us. At least... we did. That was... long ago. I was trapped until recently and have been out of matters since then." She glanced to the sky. "I think Homeworld wants this planet, but I can't say for certain anymore. They did. The Crystal gems keep itself. Me?" She frowned. "I don't want any part of these wars. For now I'm just a watcher." Of camp pining hearts. "We use the warp. there's a platform over there." She motioned to it. "Careful, I'm not sure if humans can survive the trip. I think Steven can, but he's part gem."
Ixqor Nathrach Ixqor Nathrach chuckled to himself. He loved the irony this universe had to his own. "Where I am from, Terra, Earth, is the home of the galaxy's would be conquerers and tyrants. Here? It is Earth which is to be conquered. I find it rich. A nice change of pace, even if it is being taken by Xenos races." He hardly seemed concerned with the planet's conquest at all. His work was done though, and he stepped away, sitting on the ground next to Lapis. He did not watch the Televisions program, but instead eyed the platform Lapis had motioned to. "Oh? A webwaygate then. I see. Do not fear, humans can survive the warp. It's the denizens you have the worry about, but you likely already knew that." He chuckled again, thinking about the lesser daemon he had accidently eletrified, and thrown out to the beach. "And of your powers, I saw you controlling the waves out there when you assisted me. Are you a sorcerer like mineself? Is your kind capable of harnessing the warp like that? Or is it some other form of magicks that I don't understand?" He seemed to open up a little, as he felt the two were on more equal grounds now when it came to origins, but he was most likely just projecting.
Lapis Lazuli Lapis Lazuli shrugged. "Mmmm. There's nothing in it aside from what we send through it. It's just a quicker way to travel through space." She eyed the sitcom, letting out a soft gasp as Percy ade a move on Paulette. Alas, the raccoon interrupted. Darn that raccoon, always popping up at inopportune times. She glanced towards him. "What? No. I just control the water. It's what I do. We have other magic, but I'm not very good at it. Something like that you'd want to talk with Peridot. Maybe Pearl. Pearl likes that kind of stuff. She has a bunch of magical weapons."

"Tell me, human. Do you require sustenance? Do humans eat in your world?"
Ixqor Nathrach Ixqor Nathrach raised a brow. "Perhaps we are speaking of two different warps, no? I could show you the warp of my realm, though I doubt you would like it." He nodded curtly, always willing to 'enlighten' others. Perhaps his god's would find this universe ripe for the picking, but, if that were the case, they already would have planted the seeds, and Ixqor could not feel any hints of corruption about his current surroundings. Save for the TV now. He again was surprised by her statements about her power, and magics. "An innate ability then, not much different from the powers I possess, but, from a different source no doubt. And this pearl, she holds many arcane weapons in her arsenal? Where is she?" His curiosity was peaked at this point. It was not out of teh question to say one of the three other blades he sought after was simply being held by some random being, but it would surely be unexpected. He had to check, just to clam his nerves.
Lapis Lazuli Lapis Lazuli kept eying the show. She froze when he said that. "I do not care to go near the warp of your realm. I am happy where I am." She turned towards him and her eyes had gone a little darker. "Yes. She holds many gem weapons in her arsenal. Why do you want to know where she is?" Her tone had shifted, getting almost angry. She then blinked and turned back towards the television. "I don't even know if she'll be here. I have yet to have seen her since coming back. She's not very.... easy to find. Or deal with." Her hands were still clenched though. Paused. "Oh, thank you for fixing the tv."
Ixqor Nathrach Ixqor Nathrach was getting mixed feelings about this new acquintance. "Understandable, it is quite a dreadful place if you happen to get lost..." He paused, examining Lapis' eyes, and general demanor. Had he spoken out of turn? Was it because he mentioned this 'pearl'? "I wish to speak with her, as she may possess something I am looking for, or, at least she may know about what I seek. It is very important to me. So much so that I have devoted my entire being to the cause." Hopefully this answer would settle their temper. "You are... welcome. If this Pearl is not around, and difficult to find at best, I shall have to return another time. Unless there are other means to contact them. Can your species communicate psychically?"
Lapis Lazuli Lapis Lazuli stared at him. "What are you looking for from her?" she asked, staring at him for a long moment. Then blinked again and... laughed? "Oh. Wait. You're looking for some kind of weapon, aren't you? You won't find anything important enough to worry about from her. Trust me. Pearl is only one step up from useless. Her blades are only important because of the gems who died before wielding them." She turned bac to the television. "If you'd like to talk with her, you'll have to come back often, I suppose. Or perhaps Peridot will have a means of talking with her. She's the current leader of the Crystal Gems." Oh Peridot, the things you've told her...
Ixqor Nathrach Ixqor Nathrach sighed, shaking his head. "IF what you say is true then very well. Understand I must check every possible location, as the blades were scattered throughout various universes and realms. With that being said, hopefully I can return to at least speak to this Peridot. She sounds competent enough to assist me further." Ixqor stood and stretched briefly before moving towards the door. "Thank you, for assisting me. Perhaps I shall see you again. Oh, and if the TV starts acting very, very strangely, I'd suggest sending it into orbit. Though there shouldn't be any problems." He awkwardly squeezed his way out of the home and walked bakc out onto the beach, frowning at his still wet clothing. "It's every other time I visit another realm I ruin another set of robes... Feh." He commented to himself. Were he to go uninterrupted, he would open up a portal then, back into The Warp of his gods', and make another journey in search of his prize. As he did so he at least thought to himself that when all was said and done, and his former masters' last wishes carried out, these kinds of events would at least be enoyable to look back on, and remember.
