Anne Blakely     The Grand Opening of the Saurfari Park is much busier than the earlier, VIP one! Fortunately, those who were here before - even the ones who broke in - were provided tickets! No need to buy them! Except for Finna, who wasn't actually identified as a person, just an odd dinosaur that wasn't theirs. Looks like Anne is really dead set on proving that everything is above board.

There are a number of changes, though! For one, clockwork dinosaurs - none larger than a small dog - dot the park. One might think these were for Anne's use at first, as they match her construction, but the eyes are different and each has a tethered wire attached, making it clear at second glance that they are the CCTV system packaged up more attractively for children. A few signs have been added as well... most conspicuously, a large 'DO NOT RIDE THE T-REX' sign near its pen.

Anne is of course at the gift shop, and the entire park is notably warmer than the chill December air, warm enough for shorts. There is a coat tagging place if need be, for those coming in from outside.

A presentation is talking about how this place was possible, moslty glossing over the genetics of it, but attributing it to 'Generous donations and funding from Miss Blakely and the biological knowledge and funding from Lady Venovel of Djunland.'
Setsuko Kaminagi     Once again, there is a tall, lame-legged warrior woman here. This time, there are even more people around to stare at her.

Thankfully, with her return ticket, Setsuko is able to go right in through the front gate for once. If anything, she'd /still/ rather fly than walk, but if the security people are on their game, they're bound to notice when the same woman keeps showing up without any video footage of her passing through the gate. So here she is, leaning her weight on that extra-durable brace-cane-crutch-thing as she slowly works her way through the crowd. Any attempts to assist her, or offer her a wheelchair or other such convenience, is met with a simple, polite but firm, "No, thank you. I'm fine." Do not disturb grumpy scarred soldier lady, in other words.
Camilla Ulyssa     Camilla is happy to be along again! This time she being escorted around the premises by four members of security though, who seem to be significantly concerned the new signs added around the pens aren't going to keep her in place. It's okay, she's armed herself with what appears to be AR glasses and an audio book tour of the park, so she might not try to ride a dinosaur this time.

Her tour eventually lands her right into the gift shop, presumably the final stretch of the tour that incites one to buy many souvenirs if they liked the visit, and so Camilla takes a moment to wave hello to Anne and inspect the goods on display.
Uriel and Qemuel     Speaking of wheelchairs, there's another familiar face! The young girl, Merlaine, is back again, but she's already being wheeled toward the triceratops display. The way her legs are swaying says she isn't paralyzed, but her sickly look makes it pretty obvious she's in the wheelchair for a reason. She's actually looking a little better today, with a glow to her cheeks that is much more obvious.

With her are, of course, Uriel and Qemuel, wearing t-shirts and shorts. Qemuel's is a souvenier shirt, even, with 'SAURFARI PARK' in big letters. Uriel is the one paying attention to who is coming through the gate, though she's pretty bored about it. Seeing Setsuko has her lips tightening, but Qemuel, surprisingly, notices and gives a casual wave.
Sakura Haruno     While Sakura is well versed in the basics of most medical things, she can't really understand the little bits of genetics that had been placed in the small presentation. She naturally failed to wear a coat, but once in the park it will be easy enough to get by thanks to the increased warmth.

Since she'd actually paid the first time, and been given the free ticket back in, she was determined both to enjoy herself and to arrest Anne Blakely. Luckily for her goals, she was fairly certain she would enjoy arresting Anne Blakely, thus killing two birds with one stone. She'll stand out quite a bit, though, to both sides; the pink hair rather does that, and she's not even trying to hide in her pathetic way.
Annie Sandberg That little girl who arrived with Xiaomu last time is back. But with Xiaomu herself not around, Annie- resuming her previous disguise- had to find a different escort to avoid looking like she was just a kid showing up on her own. Luckily, she arrived close enough to Setsuko to be able to tag along close to her this time. Since they were there for the same purpose, it wouldn't even be lying to say that they were there together. As she'd expected, things were going to be tricky this time by the looks of things. The crowds could be a help or a hindrance depending on what they ended up needing to do, but those cameras would be trouble no matter what. How were they going to do this? ...Well, the first step would probably be to explore the park a bit more than they had before.
Adele Rozenbach Adele is is just coming in behind the grumpy lady. Though it's not trivial to tell she's the same person as last time. She's a fair bit shorter, even taking into account that she's in a wheelchair, and a bit wider more well-set. What does link her to her previous appearance is the presence of two servants who look like perfect clones of the single one she had with her last time. Every single inch of skin identical, the only difference in hair is the mirrored haircut. One of them pushes Adele forward, and the other walks on the side, keeping up a large umbrella to keep the sunlight away
Winnowill Venovel(AKA Winnowill, not that anyone in the Union knew that. Except Duet but she doesn't count) is here, but not in her fancy dress. No, today she is wearing... a sleeveless top and some denim shorts, which means she's dressing like a girl 19(thousand) years younger than her. The men with her are also updated in dresswear, but are looking more formal at least.

Winnowill still has ridiculously long hair, though.

She did this so she wouldn't be immediately recognizeable. She's staying under a patio umbrella for now, though she has a hat nearby and a pair of sunglasses. This also helps to make her hard to point out from... the brief image she gets in the presentation, which has her all decked out in finery.
Staren     Staren is... provided tickets. What is Anne's game here?

Staren is in his combat robot body again, though without armor. He wears normal clothing, and in disguise mode the synthskin is good enough that he appears organic! The body can even still 'breathe', and is heated. Staren puzzles over the purpose of the cables on the dinosaurs. How strange that they have the technology for that, but not for wireless transmission of video signals!

Staren sends a tiny recon drone to spy on the presentation in case it includes anything important. All that jumps out at him is 1. the dinosaurs are allegedly alive, not constructs, and 2. Anne /donated/ money to the park, rather than someone comissioning robotic dinosaurs from her?

All in all, this is very strange. Very well -- Since Anne wants to talk, he'll talk. He comes to the gift shop, to ask Anne questions directly.
Anne Blakely     Huh, Anne is weirdly popular. And the donation wasn't entirely without reciprocation. She DID get to put a shop here to sell overpriced stuff, though apparently she'll be leaving it to an assistant later, after the opening weeks. For now she's here, though, leaning over and watching people. Which means she'll get to say hi to Camilla again.

"Hello, Camilla," she greets. And to Staren... well, maybe she knows who he is, but maybe not. He looks different from usual, so she won't know until he speaks. "Hello, sir. Enjoying the park? Would you like a t-shirt?" They are considerably cheaper than the clockwork toys, it seems. Still overpriced, though.

As for the rest of the park... there's an apiary for the pteradon and other flying dinosaurs(which do have proto-feathers) and several exhibits for things like the triceratops and other herbivores. The larger ones, aside from super popular ones such as brachiosaur and T-rex, are somewhat underrepresented though. Given the scale of the park this is unfortunately understandable. MOST of them are either tiny predators like raptors, or herbivores.
Devon-7     Devon-7 has a ticket. Again. Devon-7 is here. The spacefaring cowpoke is being a good boy though. If he has any weapons on his person, there is no sign of them. In fact, some might not recognize the Guardian at all.
There is a mechanical man present at the park. No sign of that helmet, no stylish hat. Not even any armor. The outfit he's in is more akin to biker leathers than a suit of pressurized and sealed armor- though in actuality it is- somehow- pressurized and sealed armor.
No sign of his Ghost, either. She's hiding in a pocket. Sooooo...
There is a tan-plated robot biker-man rummaging through the gift shop, picking out shirts in his size. As Uriel and Qemuel are there and are like the only people present who have seen him with his helmet off, he holds a shirt up good and high, acting like he's sizing it, while really just hiding behind it.
Setsuko Kaminagi     As Setsuko passes Anne's gift shop, the half-god turns to look into the shop briefly. Probably long enough to make eye contact with Anne, if the moment provides for it. But then she's moving on, surprisingly quickly for having to do so with a faux cane-assisted limp.

And while technically, her eyes are open as she walks, she's not really paying attention to input from her sense of sight. Her focus is entirely on her sense of battle, her ability to 'feel' conflicts. She's watching for anything current or near-future, intending to follow her instincts to wherever it might be.
Camilla Ulyssa     "Hi hi!" Camilla greets Anne, still busy inspecting the goods within the gift shop. Little of it seems to catch her attention, though, as she eventually makes her way to the counter, next to Staren, and then asks simply: "So how much for one of the actual dinosaurs? I've never had a pet, how much do they cost to feed? Can I just feed one people I don't like and call it taken care of?"

Well on the bright side if she's in the gift shop she's not elsewhere in the park making a mess, and she's there to protect Anne if something happens.
Adele Rozenbach "I would like to visit the gift shop please, James." Adele instructs the servant pushing her wheelchair, and thus the trio goes over to visit Anne Blakely and the others present there, not too long, and when they get closer, the undead reaches out with her hand for the other servant. "Be a dear please, Jennifer. I'm thirsty." Now one might assume that this would result in some kind of drink being handed out.

Instead, the one with the big umbrella starts to look around, examining people closely, as though to judge them for their suitability as some kind of solution to this problem. The expression on her face also displays that this is a task she very much would not like to do, trembling on her feet.

"Miss Blakely, this is a truly wonderful project, do you think this Venovel would be inclined to share with me how she accomplished this miracle?" Adele asks, the Umbrella now passed on to 'James' as this 'Jennifer' walks off to look for prey.
Winnowill Buying dinosaurs? Winnowill doesn't even understand why people want them so much like this. Hardly any of them spit poison even! She sips a lemonade and then finally stands up, slipping off toward a more secluded place. Which is hard, in a crowded park. This place is watching one of the pens though, with a tapping of her lips.

One of the men coughs, "They look a little small to be of much use to the Djun." The other elbows him, but Winnowill doesn't seem to notice.
Sakura Haruno     Flowers is trying to figure out just what Anne's angle here is, because she doesn't believe that there's nothing more malicious than a little price gouging going on for even a minute. But she doesn't seem to be able to find anything as of yet.

If not the witch they'd known, though, maybe the other person in the presentation mentioned had something going. Sakura will try to track down a park worker, asking them if she can manage to corner them. "I was able to meet Miss Blakely in the gift shop." True enough. "But I was curious, is this Lady Venovel around? I would love to discuss her, ah, biological knowledge with her." And what she was doing working with Anne. Sakura's unaware, of course, that the supposed Lady Venovel is both a disguise and in a disguise, but maybe one of the workers can help.
Annie Sandberg Annie slips away from Setsuko, joining up with what looks like a group of kids on a field trip. Ultimately, she thought, she'd have to find some way to get into the staff areas. If anything suspicious was going on, it'd be back there rather than in the public areas. She followed along with the schoolchildren, trying to blend in as she looked for a safe way in.
Uriel and Qemuel     The angels are left with little to do at the moment but care for Merlaine... which is fine with them! "Master," Qemuel asks, "Did you need anything to drink?"

"Not yet, Qemuel," the girl says, leaning over to grip the railing while watching a stegasaurus lazily munching on something. "Hm... I thought they would be 'doing things' more than they are. Are they nocturnal?"
Anne Blakely     There are an awful lot of dinosaurs just... standing around in their pens. But really, how often are animals doing ANYTHING interesting when they are on display in a zoo? That's right, maybe once or twice per visit, an exhibit will have them doing 'antics' of some sort. Right now, this means the raptors are playing tag or something with one another.

Setsuko's instincts will... guide her all around. Really. It's like a meandering path of 'might have been' which even crosses through pens. It's very weird, because there's SOMETHING there but it's very faint and wandering.

Meanwhile, Anne replies to Adele, "She's not exactly forthcoming on her techniques, but neither is she particularly reserved. I suppose you can just ask her next time she is about. She works in Medical for the Confederates." She looks at Camilla, "You'd have to ask her. I only sell the replicas. I can give you a discount for factional alignment if you like. They DO take some time to make though."

Sakura is also looking for Venovel, and the workers fortunately only know her as Lady Venovel so can't ruin the disguise. One of them says, "Oh, yeah, she's around. I think she's dressed casually today though." That's a lead.

Devon finds a good shirt and overhears stuff Anne is talking about, which is interesting enough, right?

As for Annie... the kids aren't really allowed near dangerous parts, except... well, they do get to go through the pool area(yes there's a pool and not just for dinosaurs, but for recreation), and the water plant door is nearby. It's the first chance she's had to find a door that isn't guarded and might not be locked, but is it the right one?
Staren     Staren looks rather cross as he enters the gift shop and glares at Anne expectantly. He's kind of expecting... some speech or something. When she doesn't give one, he prompts, "Well?! ...You invited us here to a densely populated place presumably so I /won't/ try to blow your brains out. What do you want?"
Devon-7     Devon's interest is caught. He smoothly moves from shirts- after picking one out in his size- to the souvernier cups and mugs. He doesn't find any with his name already printed on so as he listens he migrates. Just an ordinary gift shopper, perusing keychains.
Before he gets to the hats.
He picks one out. A high brimmed safari hat, with sharp dinosaur teeth tucked in the band.
    "Croikey."
Setsuko Kaminagi     As Setsuko makes her way through the crowd, her brow begins to furrow faintly. What is that? It's like a fight constantly about to break out, but it's on the move, elusive. That's starting to get frustrating, quickly. So she decides to shift her focus a little. Now that she's gotten more familiar with whatever that sense of impending conflict might be, it should be easier for her to track. So she starts paying attention to her ears, as well - superhumanly sharp hearing, sharp enough she could fight in total darkness and pick out sounds at a distance most would miss up close. Perhaps she can hear something that will give her a hint as to what's causing this 'phantom conflict' flitting about.
Adele Rozenbach Adele nods, "I'll be sure to talk to her later then, this is a fascinating park you have here." There's a faint smile on her face as she removes the mask, now somewhat inside she feels the weight of the sun less clearly. A moment after, 'Jennifer' comes back in, so far empty-handed, until she takes a gamble and approaches Devon. "Excuse me, sir. Her serene highness the Princess of Rozenbach needs your assistance. Could you spare a moment of your time?"

Meanwhile Adele just flat out stares at Staren, and offers a calm, "You presume so many ulterior motives, sometimes even the most hard-working souls need to relax and do something a little more calming. My friend, miss Blakely, merely decides to use this time efficiently and make some connections." And then the deliberately angelic face dissolves into blood, reforming as something far more demonic looking, "And should you wish to make it an issue, there is an abundance of food in this park. I'm sure you won't mind if I devour the lot while you're busy with her."

Then the new face dissolves back into blood, and the former face returns. "But I'm sure that won't be anything to worry about, right, James?" The ghoul quickly nods, "I'm sure everyone will be sensible, mistress." He sounds terrified. Adele smiles, "I don't think we've met, sir. Princess Adele von und zu Rozenbach, I help patch up my comrades from time to time."
Sakura Haruno     Flowers will sigh at that - there were quite a large number of possible places for someone to be in casual clothes, and she hadn't gotten a great look at the woman during the presentation. Still, she's noticed something else while wondering around, something very much in keeping with Anne's usual methods of operation.

"Fine. Thank you." She'll say, taking a few steps away, looking around and trying to find somewhere off concrete. Once she doesn't spot anyone looking at her, she'll form a seal and then plummet downwards through the dirt, as though it were air, hopefully unnoticed. Either way, she's aiming for a little pocket of space she'd felt out below her feet, consistant with the operations that Anne had had before. There'll probably be horrible dinosaur things here.
Annie Sandberg Checking around to see if there might be a camera-saur watching the door, Annie concludes that the coast is clear and heads through the water plant door. She tries to step quietly as she goes, keeping an eye out for anything that might be out of place. Sure, a water station might not be the best place for the most nefarious deeds to be carried out... but that might just be what makes it the best place after all.
Camilla Ulyssa     "I don't know, can I ride the replicas? Are we talking the big ones or the ones in the shop?" Camilla asks, because a giant clockwork dinosaur would be an OK substitute for a real one. It's just a novelty thing. Even if it doesn't spit poison.

Like Adele, she ends up turning to look at Staren, though it's less 'staring' and more 'being really energetic about something she shouldn't be'. Case in point: "Oh! Oh! Can you try? If you try I get to claim legitimate employer defense or whatever that legal loophole is for doing a lot of stuff that makes you come out clean." Employer? It's cloooose enough. Rolls off the tongue better than 'person I kind of know who wanted me there also we share a faction I guess'.

Then she looks at Adele. "Can you turn your face into anything like that?"
Devon-7     Devon has selected his new hat of the day. Good and stylish, and the teeth are fitting, considering the occasion. He's mostly just trying to keep a low profile while scoping things out.
And then Jennifer approaches. She approaches HIM of all people. With an apparent quest from royalty.
The hat comes off. For now, anyway. The Exo turns, one steel brow lifting slightly, and pointing a finger at himself as though to wordlessly ask 'me?'
Looks like she does mean him though. "Oh huh? Oh I don't work here or anything, but okay?" He manages to ditch his space-cowboy accent, too. He'll bite, for now.
Anne Blakely     Anne stares at Staren. "I DO need money. This is an investment. What is wrong with that? People want to see dinosaurs and I believe this will be a successful business venture. I personally have no plans beyond that. Well, I suppose it has given me an oppotunity to study dinosaur anatomy for my constructs, but your assumption wounds me."

    She doesn't sound that wounded.

"As my colleague says, sometimes we simply have... mutually beneficial plans? I assure you that's all there is to it."

Annie finds... well there COULD be some nefarious water poisoning going on. However, what she finds instead is that the water treatment is actually just what it says. Though it's... big. A large number of catwalks and stairs leading downward. This is a lot more treatment than even a park this size should have.
Staren     "I'd much rather /actually/ wound you." Staren replies, flatly." He looks around. "Well, since you went to all this effort to have us talk... I don't suppose there's any chance of convincing you to stop sacrificing innocent people? You had a heart once, and with it you did something very noble."
Winnowill Well... the chance for a battle is spiking rapidly! Very, very swiftly, in fact. IT's centered on what's going on with Sakura, because as Annie has just discovered, there's a lot more to this park than meets the eye, and Sakura has gotten another hint to it. That being she's broken through the concrete and down into... what?

Winnowill pauses aboveground, frowning at all the smelly humans, but she can't pinpoint what is going wrong. In fact, it's just Sakura has busted down into a long row of cells. They're currently empty, but they have some very obvious signs of use. Scratches in the metal, and even holes in the glass that look like acid burns. A light on the other end opens up to what is presumably more active facilities, but what is here is a lot more than just dinosaurs for entertainment. There's even a rack of guns nearby.
Setsuko Kaminagi     Setsuko stops. She turns slightly, as if hearing something. "...there." Finally, something /concrete/. The demigod turns, and begins moving with a purpose once again - now that she can nail down the sense of conflict, the 'where' and even some mild extent of 'when', she has somewhere to be.

People might be getting shoved aside as Setsuko hobbles her way through the crowd. Or they might just be getting out of her way, seeing as how she's six feet tall, toned, covered in scars, and gives off the kind of impression that puts most people right off the idea of upsetting her.
Anne Blakely     Anne is unaware of Sakura and Annie actually discovering something. She's talking to the others. Camilla gets a smile, "Well, I did say this helped me perfect those designs. I can't promise it will be as strong as Rupert, but I think I can get you a T-Rex mount. That should be... interesting. I doubt it would be an empowered one, I'm afraid."
Sakura Haruno     Flowers is a little relieved as she finds the beginnings of a horrible dark secret. It would have been a truly cunning plan to have this be completely above board, and wasting all of her time. The most vicious of blows, really. She'll look at one of the cells, kneeling down, and frown.

After a moment, she seems to make a decision. She'll pick up one of the guns from the rack, not having been able to bring a weapon of her own into the park, and start to slowly sneak over towards the light, looking to see what's in the area underground that might be worth all this effort.

She doesn't actually have any training in using a gun, or any way to tell if it's loaded, but she's holding it by the barrel and clearly planning to use it as a club anyways.
Annie Sandberg Annie continues further into the water plant. Either this park really wanted to have clean water, or the plant was being used for something else, and Annie figures if she looks closer, she might be able to get an idea of what it was being used for. Of course, the farther she got the riskier it was- she was really straining the "lost child" image by going so far while trying to avoid being seen. But it was too late to really back out now, so Annie continues on, looking for some hint of the plant's hidden purpose.
Camilla Ulyssa     She will hold Adele to explaining another time, and so for now doesn't press that question. Instead, Camilla is happy enough to nod and accept the offer from Anne. "Yeah! That's fine. I just want a dinosaur to ride around, I wouldn't want something doing the fighting for me, that defeats the purpose of fighting in the first place."
Adele Rozenbach Adele watches Staren with a further smile, "Hyperfocused, but I fear he may be missing something important." Then Jennifer returns with the robotic gentlemen she came across, and Adele raises an eyebrow. "My dear, I knew you are somewhat dim at the best of times, but I thought you knew better than this. I cannot eat metal." She sighs, "We will have to correct your behavior later." The poor ghoul quivers in fear as the mistake she made sinks in.

Adele turns towards Devon after, "Please forgive me for having you disturbed, I fear we must have wasted your time. I do hope you will enjoy yourself in this park?" She smiles faintly, the chiding tone entirely gone. "I am a friend of miss Blakely here, and I thought I'd explore this park she expressed such interest in."
Winnowill Setsuko is on the way! And Sakura is already finding... strangeness. There are guards in the next room, though only three, and they are looking pretty bored. Several scientist-types are watching from above a few large cells, where... different dinosaurs are. Some of them have tentacles, but they seem to be asleep. They're currently observing a small goat bleating and thrashing as it is dragged into a triceratops' mouth, through the use of a tongue lassoing the poor goat.

It all looks very much like a military operation. Then again, who WOULDN'T want an army of mutant dinosaurs?
Anne Blakely     Annie is fortunate that, aside from one guard once in a while, the water facility is largely left unattended. Fortunate for now. Delving a little deeper, the Fundroid(tm) will find that the pipes are leading out to another facility. It looks like there are two water lines... one is to feed water to the facility for the civilians and staff, and the other for the pens.

They're labelled, this isn't hard to figure out. What isn't clear is why the difference?
Setsuko Kaminagi     At some point, Setsuko is going to have to find her own way down into the underground... but she can do that quite easily, if need be. Whether it's a door she can break through when no one's looking, an out-of-the-way spot she can carve her own entrance to the tunnels, or some other handy contrivance, the demigod knows where she needs to be. Which is to say, 'wherever the fighting will be'.
Devon-7     Eat metal? Devon follows Jennifer-- after having paid for his new stylish hat and putting it on to further his amazing In-Plain-Sight disguise. "... Well, miss, I guess I should rightly be glad I don't agree with your palatte. No offense meant."

Hopefully she doesn't take any offense from that, though he DOES give Jennifer a pat on the head. "Hey least she should get credit for tryin' right?"
Because headpatting ghouls that would have led him to a terrible fate if he wasn't made of metal seems like an okay thing to do at the time.
Anne Blakely     "What makes you think I /sacrifice/ innocent people? You make it sound like some odd ritual," Anne replies to Staren. "Aside from that one time - which was a bit more complicated than you'd think - the deaths caused by my actions are usually greatly exaggerated. I always have a purpose." She frowns slowly, "What did I ever do to you, anyway?"

Come on Anne, think of it, you'll figure it out.
Sakura Haruno     Sakura will try to get behind one of the guards, and grab them by the shoulder with her free hand. "What the hell is that?" Will be the question, as she brandishes the gun at them. It probably does not seem like a very effective threat the way she's holding it, but she feels obliged to try to ask them what's going on, rather than just attacking first.

Of course, she's also trying to use that hold on the shoulder to keep them between her and the other guards. She's not a fool, after all.
Annie Sandberg Annie continues on, following the pipes toward their source. If they were separating the water sources, they must be doing something to the water they were giving to the dinosaurs. If so, that would be something big on its own. What, exactly, she'd find at the end, she doesn't know, but she's ready to find out.
Staren     Staren looks at her. She really doesn't get it? "It is, perhaps, not an odd ritual -- every mage on my world knows /how/ to draw PPE... I mean magical energy from a dying creature -- But none I'd want to associate with would kill innocents for power. And then you stole that magical girl's soul and used it as a power source. If you really don't understand, though, I guess there's no other choice but for us to keep trying to kill eachother at every opportunity." He pulls Anne's bounty poster from his bag. "Have any adventurers come trying to collect? If they had anyone who cares about them, I can at least pass word on for them."
Adele Rozenbach Adele waves of Devon a bit annoyedly, seeming uninterested in wasting more time on him, and instead turns towards Staren, "Question hour is over, I'm getting increasingly hungry and there is an abundance of people out there just waiting to be food." She insists with only the mildest sense of urgency in her voice, "Now I've been trying to focus on limited bites, avoid mass panic, and all these things, but I've also told you the consequences for failing to behave."

She then, takes a pause to emphasize her next word, "Miss Blakely means well, I don't. I could consume every last innocent civilian in this park and not feel a drip of guilt, and should you utter one more threat pr insult to her face, I'll get started on that."
Anne Blakely     Anne points out, "Here, in the gift shop, isn't the time to be discussing our particular methods and their similarities and differences." She tsks, and moves to ring up a customer who is looking a little confused. Anne points out, "And referring to that sort of thing is bad for business. I can just have you thrown out, and I'd prefer if my companion were not... made angry."

She gestures to Adele, who is apparently getting peckish?

Devon seems to have behaved himself, though. That gets a smile, "Come back any time!"

Camilla gets a quick look, "Ah, we might have a problem..."

Meanwhile ANNIE SANDBERG is tracing the pipes. It might take a few moments more than she'd like, because of a passing guard to hide from, but it does appear that they're treating the water with some kind of fluid. IT would not be hard to grab a sample if she really wants to.
Staren     "Wasn't much of an hour." Staren looks at the woman for a long moment. "No, she doesn't. I guess neither of you get it. There IS no other time we can trust eachother just to talk." He turns and walks to the door. "Guess I'll see you next time I try to kill you, then."
Winnowill The guard is... not really all that special. He gets grabbed by Sakura and jerked back, and then his companions turn about swiftly, levelling rifles at her and hesitating at the hostage. The guard squirms. "I don't know what it is! We're just... guarding them while they make dinosaurs for the Djun!"

Well that is an answer. Setsuko is probably able to find the battle, even though it hasn't broken out. That's because the dinosaurs are getting agitated, and one of them is stirring and sensing the danger. This is making the scientists a little... worried.
Setsuko Kaminagi     Setsuko quietly limps up to a staff entrance out of easy sight, shifting her weight a little. She looks around once or twice, letting eyes and ears both find the nearest security camera. She looks right up into it, making 'eye contact' with whoever's on the other side.

And then she turns, hikes up a foot, and gives the door a kick hard enough to bend steel.

And calmly walks inside, already starting to disassemble that overly-stout 'cane' to withdraw the sword and scabbard inside.

And once she's in the underground halls, she breaks into a full-speed run, following her divine sense as much as her mundane ones. It's entirely possible her simple presence might further agitate the dinosaurs, but she doesn't know that; she only knows that Sakura should be around here somewhere, and there's some kind of life-or-death struggle quickly approaching.
Annie Sandberg Annie squeezed herself into a tight place to avoid the guard before reaching the water source. At first, she was worried that she might not be tall enough to collect the fluid from its vat... but then, she noticed what seemed to be large bottles of the stuff lying around. Too big for a human child to carry, but Annie wouldn't have a problem. Lifting the bottle, Annie turned back toward the passage from which she'd come. She didn't have any idea what the fluid was, but if she could get it out to her allies, they might be able to find out.
Sakura Haruno     "That doesn't look like any kind of dinosaur I've ever seen!" Sakura will point out. "You all. Explain!" She'll brandish the gun-club at the scientists up above. Her experiences with dinosaurs aren't extensive, of course, but she's pretty sure tentacle feeding isn't part of the normal plan.

Of course, she hasn't really thought about how to get out of this situation, either. She'll try and get a radio message out without drawing too much attention to that part of things, because while she thinks she could take the guards, getting shot still hurts.

She'll start backing up back towards the cell block, trying to keep the guard she's holding hostage between herself and the other two. If the dinosaurs get loose, this could certainly go all to hell in a hurry.
Anne Blakely     It IS oddly... easy for Annie now, isn't it? That might be because a ruckus is being made in another part of the compound. Annie is actually... having a pretty easy time slipping out, though getting out of the water treatment plant /unseen/ might be a trick.
Winnowill Looks like a bit of a stalemate. One of the scientists actually starts to answer, perhaps because of some mild objections to what they're doing. "We couldn't really fund an entire park for entertainment, did you think? That's ridiculous. There are military applications... only they didn't just want dinosaurs."

"STOP TALKING!" a new guard says, rushing in. "What are you waiting for? SHOOT HER!"

"But Baker-"

"Is an acceptable loss. SHOOT HER!"

Unless Sakura does something, Setsuko will be walking into a firefight, but at least it's now EASY to find.
Sakura Haruno     "Oh, come on!" Flowers says, frustrated. They'd just gotten started with the talking. Sakura, not particularly wanting to be responsible for the guard's death that she'd grabbed, will instead attempt to fling 'Baker' at the new, more irritating guard. This is going to probably hurt a bunch - she's got the strength to do it at quite a lot of speed, even with just the one hand.

The other hand will use the gun as a projectile weapon, aiming at one of the other two guards that had been there already. This is not in the traditional sense of a projectile, though, because she's just throwing the gun at him. It's also at speed, but guns are not very well balanced for throwing, and there's a good chance she misses. Still, it's probably distracting. Of course, there's a remaining guard she didn't do anything to, so hopefully Setsuko will show up soon while Sakura tries to find cover.
Annie Sandberg Annie didn't think it'd be a smart idea to head right out the door carrying the chemicals into the crowd of people and cameras. So, she tried to find a place to hide while she waited for that "very large distraction" to give her the opportunity to escape. Being small definitely had its benefits in that respect!
Setsuko Kaminagi     The moment Sakura pitches her weapon, Setsuko comes bolting into the room.

Without skipping a beat, she drops to her knees, sliding across the ground in a superhumanly-fast skid. Zanjintou snaps up in a neat, smooth arc at just the perfect moment - aimed to cut the thrown gun in half at a precise angle and location such that its own spin and momentum cause it to come apart.

Each half should be hitting one of the two remaining guards.

She comes out of the slide into a quick turn-around, with Zanjintou up in a defensive position, ready to act as a defensive line for Sakura. "Haruno," the swordswoman greets simply.
Winnowill Well, the good news is these are armed guards and... normal people. Even well-trained, they hesitate to fire on one of their own! Which makes it good for Sakura, because there's enough of a delay that it lets her hurl the guard easily.

This leaves one guard to start shooting.... but only a few shots get off before Setsuko comes sliding in and smacks one in the face witht he flying gun-half, and the other grunts as it impacts her middle. It's enough to stagger, but even worse it's now odds that they aren't keen on. Sure, there are only two of them, but they weren't paid to take on sword-gods and ninjas. The officer does manage to push Baker away in time to take a few shots with a .45 at Setsuko.

And the raptors are awake, screeching and slamming themselves against the glass, trying to get out and join the 'fun'
Anne Blakely     Someone must have hit the alarm, because underground, the alarms are going off. Above ground, Annie has her chance. A loudspeaker says in a calm voice, "There has been an accident in the water treatment plant. Please exit the park in a calm and orderly manner. We should have the equipment repaired within one hour. Complimentary bottled water will be provided in the meantime, and entertainment." This starts to repeat.
Sakura Haruno     Sakura manages to not take a bullet, thankfully - not that she couldn't deal with it, but it would be terribly unpleasant. "Aah, thank you!" She'll call over to Setsuko, though she'll be pulled out of the moment by the raptors trying to exit the glass. She doesn't want to have to take those on - the teeth look quite horrible. "Now that we know what's down here, maybe we should leave?" She'll ask, not certain what might be gained by sticking around.

She could really use some complimentary bottled water right now. The thought of fighting the mutant dinosaurs is making her sweat a little, even as she starts moving back the way she came, knowing she can tunnel back up from there to the above-ground area.
Setsuko Kaminagi     One slug hits Setsuko in the abdomen. One misses cleanly. The other? Glances off of Zanjintou's surface as she whips it up into the path, deflecting the bullet with an almost casual swipe.

She looks the man right in the eyes, still on her feet despite the bullet wound, and says simply, "I recommend that you run now."

She puts the full weight of her divine presence behind the implied threat.

After a brief glance at Sakura, the demigod gives a simple nod. "Go. I'll cover our retreat." And she can do exactly that, too - by simply flying backwards, so that she can keep up with Sakura and still watch the hallway behind them.
Annie Sandberg As the alarm sounds, Annie makes her move, dashing up the stairs and kicking the door open as she carries the evidence out to the main area of the park. She keeps holding tightly to the bottle as she heads for the exit, hoping everyone else is all right where they are.
Winnowill Well there goes the alarm, and both Setsuko and Sakura are fortunate that Setsuko's aura keeps any more bullets from flying. One of the scientists could get killed. There's enough hesitation for the two to duckout quickly... but only to hear that the shouts are now to try to tranquilize the dinosaurs that are just feeling more combative, after the demigod's presence.

Fortunately this means pursuit is less important than the cargo.
Anne Blakely     Up above, Annie will find it not too difficult. While people aren't /panicking/, they are crowding up at the entrance to get out, and they're chattering a lot, with many complaints. It seems to calm them down when it's revealed that there /probably/ isn't an issue but safety laws require them to shut things down to make sure, but it's still a jam-packed mess.

Anne sighs, rubbing her forehead. "I knew this was a bad idea. They'll probably blame me."

At least it lets Sakura and Setsuko escape with little trouble, with some justification for their beliefs that it is sinister.
Sakura Haruno     The cargo is not that important to Sakura compared with making an exit; they can expose what's really going on here once that's done, after all.

Once back in the cell hall, she'll climb up the bars of one of the cells to reach the ceiling she'd dropped through before. This time, she'll leave a hole along the way, allowing Setsuko to escape along the same path with a little bit of acrobatics and wall jumping and such. Sakura's path is a little easier, naturally.
