Wo It had now been several days since the unprecedented realignment of the Multiverse. With the fall of the former superpowers, for every individual that quickly realigned themselves and found new allegiances, there was at least one more that was still adrift, either through their own choice or simply not having a purpose. For a certain Abyssal carrier, the situation was more complicated. She had already been straying from the mainstream of her kind for almost a year, now, and many were anxious to see how the situation would turn out. Now, besides a few disrupted attempts at phone calls and telegrams, she had seemingly, simply fallen off the map. There may have been witnesses to her presence at the Citadel that fateful day, which only makes the few puzzle pieces more worrisome.

Now, however, a new world order is slowly establishing itself, as the Multiverse physically and structurally pieces itself back together. The landscape is unfamiliar, but there are still sparse fallbacks. To find their way around right now, one might have to be trained in old school compass and sextant navigation. Or, following a radio beacon. One such ping appears beamed at both Hikari Seaport and a particular Boston, a known quantity and a neutral, second homeport, respectively. There is no RFID, but it is peculiar that, drifting even a few degrees to either side, the signal is completely lost, so it is certainly being targetted to attract their attention. It seems to be originating from one of the islands that had been completely moved around the map by the upheavals. Dare it be investigated? Probably best to come by boat, or helicopter.
Nagato     It's fortunate that the battleship was already on a mapping expedition with one of her cruisers when the radio ping was recieved by Ooyodo. "Nagato, there's an odd ping at this location, please go take a look at it." "Understood, Ooyodo. Kagurazaka, let's go." she comments, "All weapons ready, I'm not sure what we're going to expect when we come." she informs her anti-air escort cruiser... who so happens not to be a kanmusu. "Any particular idea what we may see?" she questions towards Yuna as she adjusts course.

It's been a few days... the Fifth Strike Fleet has been busy mapping areas... and returning the data to the Paladins, but she couldn't let them do it alone. "Hmm, the new seas and placements are disorienting...
Guest Psyber     "You know, these aren't free now that you can't bill the Union any more," says a voice in a headset that Psyber is wearing. The helicopter skims low over the water, keeping itself going at a good clip. Part of Psyber was glad to have a reason to get out of Boston during that awful weather hitting the east coast. The other part was suspicious of any sort of signal that seems to be beckoning him.

"Bill it to Boston," Is all the half-angel says in reply to his own headset. A new world order, new people to bill for his services, "Memo it as investigating a mysterious off-shore signal." He shrugs a bit as the helicopter zips. The half-angel takes a pack of cigarettes out of his coat and smacks them against the palm of his hand a few times before taking one out and lighting it.

The small transport does a quick circle and then aims to head towards the beach of the island originating the signal, "Go back, refuel, and come get me in two hours." Psyber says simply as he hops out of the chopper and tosses his headset into the back of it. The pilot gives him a thumbs up and then starts to lift off. One hand holding his cigarette, Psyber uses the other to shield his face from the sand it's kicking up as it takes off.
Yuna Kagurazaka "I'm not sure," Kagurazaka replies to Nagato, then looks up and back a bit - at a certain robo-faerie who's flying along next to her, as if prepared to support any pilot fairies who need to take flight. Not that any carriers are on this deployment. "Elner? See if you can pick up on the signal and let us know what you can see?"

Elner nods to Yuna, then flits away from the mostly-kanmusu formation, angling to try and come in along the tight-beam radio signal. Elner's going to try and analyze the signal, too - pick out any messages which might be embedded in the transmission, see if the signal can be identified, anything like that. Not to mention acting as an 'eye in the sky' who can get to the island ahead of the shipgirls (and Yuna) ...

And Kagurazaka blinks when Elner fills her in. "Huh. There's a helicopter leaving that island, heading in a different direction," she reports to Nagato and Ooyodo. "Elner thinks it looks like a transport, but we're not the only ones investigating ..." She purses her lips. "Recommend full speed ahead; maybe it's nothing to worry about, but the faster we get there, the sooner we'll know what's going on, right?"

And with Nagato's approval (as flagship), Kagurazaka will pour on the speed. She's genuinely curious - and Elner didn't sound like the 'copter was anything bad.
Wo It really is an unfamiliar sea out there. To those that make their life here, it really would be a discomforting time. Yet, that makes it all the more important for those eager to lend a hand to be out here. These same uncharted waters have also doubtlessly claimed civilian commercial ships, simply trying to make their living, and it's altogether too easy to run aground, into a whirlpool, or even facing legit sea monsters that have been shaken from centuries of slumber. While the placement is completely wrong, and it would take some searching to fit the island to an outline in the database, it fits the profile of one that had been known before the Multiversal sundering. Specifically, it was a peaceful one that had made their living between fishing and selling the valuable scrap that tended to wash up on their shores. What they could be beaming attention about is anyone's guess.

Psyber, or some of his staff, might have been able to compile the same information. The weather isn't quite tropical here, but it's definitely an improvement over the deep freeze falling over the East Coast, perhaps spurred on even more by the intense disruptions in the planetary weather patterns. The island isn't quite uninhabited, either, as noted, and hearing the approach of a helicopter, the natives, very carefully, begin to come out of their tin shack-style homes to investigate. The half-angel executive would likely recognize them as much as they do him. This is that same island village that Wo had washed up at all that time ago. Destiny has strange ways of working, doesn't it? The Elder, the same wisened old woman from before, takes the lead, and addresses him, "It's you, from that time before with the pale girl from the sea. It's been some time...and we know well why the shipments from your Union have suddenly dried out."

As she's about to wonder why he's here, the island's radio engineer comes up to make her aware of another matter. There are fresh radar hits heading toward the island, but they're not in the direction they've had to be worried about, as of late. While there's some uncertainty, the old woman seems to understand. "I see. So she's brought her friends here. I suppose we should greet them, too." With that, the radio operator returns to the electronics shack, and telegraphs a friendly message to both Nagato and Yuna, and relaying directions for as safe an approach to the island's makeshift anchorage as possible. Why would it be unsafe? While it was easy to miss from a distance, all parties would now begin notice pieces of floating wreckage in the sea. The debris from an apparently recent conflict, as some oil still slicks the surface of the sea. For what it's worth, none of it seems to be Abyssal.
Guest Psyber     "Hm." Psyber says vaguely to the old man at first, looking around a bit as he moves the cigarette to the corner of his mouth and takes a slow drag from it, exhaling a plume of smoke a few moments later as if symbolically intaking, processing, and then determining information. After a slow look around the island, his gaze eventually falls back to the old woman in front of him.

"Sorry about that. If you wanna set up trade agreements, I know a few places in Boston looking to offload crab and lobster during the prime season?" He offers to the woman in a sort of casual tone while continuing to look at his surroundings. He takes the cigarette out of his mouth and taps some ash to the sand under his feet.

"But I'm probably not here for trade agreements. Yeah, it has been a while. I didn't really have a reason to come back after we got Wo back the first time, no offense. Tropical island vacations aren't my bag," He muses, looking towards her, "But something asked me to come here. So here I am, I guess."
Nagato     "Understood, full speed ahead to the island." she pours on her own speed, not as fast as Yuna but still a good clip as the battleship and escort start their approach.. then there's that telegraph message. A reply is ggiven, a simple thank you, as Nagato turns a bit. "This way, Yuna." she comments, heading towards the makeshift anchorage to dock up. "It's strange, this area's got a lot of wreckage, but... I wasn't aware of any ship based fights here... Ooyodo would have given me a good detail about it."

Landing at the anchorage, Nagato moves to dock up and then enter the anchorage properly, still equipped with her guns. Who knew if she needed them or not here, but rather be safe than sorry. That helicopter did unnerve her, and with a small nod, she allows one of her scout planes to undock and launch in the air to get a better view. "Keep an eye out Kagurazaka..." she mutters, making her way past the anchorage and deeper into the island.
Yuna Kagurazaka Kagurazaka's not losing her guns unless she strips off her cruiser gear generally, but she can keep the 'rifle' slung from its strap when she doesn't need to point it at anything. And the wreckage is enough to leave her a little on edge as well.

On the other hand? They're getting a friendly greeting, or at least, that's what Elner makes of it, as does Kagurazaka's telegraph fairy. So she stays sharp as regards the wreckage, avoiding getting too close to it, and heading in behind Nagato. "The way things got shuffled around might mean that any fights near this island were off our 'radar,' so to speak," she suggests to the battleship.

Meanwhile, Elner flits over to Psyber and the Elder, dipping briefly in greetings. "I am Elner of Wisdom; Yuna and Nagato are on their way. - It's good to see you again, Psyber," the robo-faerie adds to the detective.
Wo The villagers are mainly, fairly simple folk. They normally are content to remain to themselves and do their business, simply making a living from the sea and their previously advantageous position in the great gyres of the Multiverse's oceans. Now...they're a bit closer to a coast, and while the wreckage is still here, it's of a recent vintage, and unwelcome, as will soon be disclosed. They wear modern enough clothes, though it seems to have been pieced together mostly from other worlds they had traded with, and there's no particular unifying fashion to be seen. While the adults are politely wary, in turn, of both Nagato and Yuna, the children are, as usual with visiting Elites, another matter. "Hey, it's another of those ladies that's a ship," calls one boy, and the others all come running to the makeshift pier.

'Another?' They aren't quite sure on Yuna, though something about her seems familiar! "Look, that gun and equipment! I bet she's here to punish you for pulling on big sister I-soozoo's hair that time!" "No way, she totally forgave me!" The kids do their typical circling thing, almost like so many escorts, but they're well behaved enough to not get in the way. (Or make the mistake of trying to pull someone's hair again, in one case.) One slightly older girl wonders, not knowing the better parts of discretion, "Did you come to beat up the Conglomerate's Navy? Though they haven't been sending anything our way...maybe they ran out of boats?"

The Elder is nearly finished with business, such as it is, with Psyber. She's not here to keep him anymore than he is her, and she gives a light shake of her head, "I think it would be best to return to the old ways, for a time, until we're certain of what's going to happen. Some trade would be welcome, but agreements are unnecessary." Before she gets into answering what she knows of why he might have been called here, she and some of the other villagers beckon him forward, to go greet their other guests, with a nod to the helpful Elner. These two are unfamiliar to her, but their suspiciously coordinated outfits, and that rigging, tip her off that they're definitely not from the neighborhood. She gives a vague wave for the children to give some space to the visitors, before she gives a warm but weathered smile. "You won't need your weapons. We don't have any of our own, at least that could stand up to any of you." She doesn't seem fazed at all, however, and continues her nicities, "Welcome to our island, Nagato and Yuna. I'd offer you all our hospitality, but times are tight here."

So what was with all of those chunks of ship wreckage. "Nonetheless, we've not been without our guardians in this troubled time. I believe, actually, it is her that called you here. And, unless I'm mistaken, she'll be returning shortly." Right on cue, a shape appears distinctly on the horizon, coming from the direction of the distant mainland. The radar strikes are large, though with so many multipath reflections it would be difficult to tell for several moments more. When both electronic and visual detection eventually resolve, it's clearly a flat top, around the size of Souryuu or Hiryuu in their ocean fitouts, though the profile doesn't match. There's another close behind, either on the heavy end of a light cruiser, or the light end of a heavy...it's hard to say. "Ah, they're here." She gives another vague wave, and the villagers move down to the docks.

She gives another smile, staring out at the sight. "I think I'll leave it to her to explain. If you'll excuse me, we'll soon have other things to attend to." With this, unless she's interrupted, she'll turn back in the direction of her chief's shack, as the two outlines loom larger and the detail grows. While somewhat unnecessary, flickers of light from the carrier in the formation, a searchlight, beam coded messages of identification to the dockworkers ahead of time, and by now the details of a distinctly American carrier can be seen, though no actual aircraft are on deck at the m
Wo She gives another smile, staring out at the sight. "I think I'll leave it to her to explain. If you'll excuse me, we'll soon have other things to attend to." With this, unless she's interrupted, she'll turn back in the direction of her chief's shack, as the two outlines loom larger and the detail grows. While somewhat unnecessary, flickers of light from the carrier in the formation, a searchlight, beam coded messages of identification to the dockworkers ahead of time, and by now the details of a distinctly American carrier can be seen, though no actual aircraft are on deck at the moment. Pristine details, at that, and looking straight out of a time warp. A distinct wavy camoflage paint scheme is its only identifying marks from the side, though as it pitches and heaves in the seas slightly, a large numeral '8' can be seen marking one end of the flight deck. The cruiser is...definitely not pristine, and looks more like a certain Abyssal's quasi-Ocean Fitout used to, with redhot welded, dark black plating. Its guns aren't large, but it is absolutely bristling with them.
Guest Psyber "Hello, Elner. If you're around, that must mean Yuna came out of the big shake-up just fine. That's good to hear," Psyber replies to the fairy simply, tapping the cigarette in his fingers, "Excellent to hear, in fact."

Psyber turns back towards the Elder a moment later and then lifts an eyebrow. He lets the greetings of the village towards Yuna and Nagato commence. He doesn't have much reason to hide himself from either of them, being on decent terms with the fleet as the captain of the Kongou. In fact, upon spotting the two women, he lifts his hand in a semi-relaxed greeting before lowering it again. He seems mostly at ease now that he's realized what island he's on.

He keeps the cigarette in the corner of his mouth again and walks towards the indicated direction of the ships. He keeps a mostly subdued look on his face, masking whatever emotion he may feel at spotting that stenciled 8 on the side of the ship. The half-angel rolls his shoulders a bit and tries to think of the most optimal greeting he can use for this situation. Eventually, he comes up with:

"Oi! You've put on some weight since you lectured me over that staff, haven't you?"
Nagato     Nagato's entrance into the village ahead and soon, is mobbed by a bunch of children. She looks towards the kids and tilts her head, "I will get information on that Navy soon, I do have buisness here, child, so can you point me to your elder?" she questions, at least, until the elder makes themselves known. She does give a bow towards her, "Admiral Nagato, a pleasure. I apologize for intruding upon your island, but we're here on official buisness." she lifts back up and nods, "The thought is appreciated, though I do wish to make my stay quick."

The mention of guardians catch her attention and she gets a curious gaze, "Eh?" is really the only thing that comes out of her mouth from that statement, though, a look to Psyber and a wave elicits one from her own. If /he/ is here, then either Kongou... or someone else... has to be here, or close by. The new sight that's being shown catches her attention and the scout plane starts reporting some information from it.

USN ship? Carrier? Nagato frowns some at this, did something happen that Psyber hasn't told her about new kanmusu... or did they raise this one from the depths of the ocean, disturbing her sleep. "What's going on?"
Yuna Kagurazaka Kagurazaka's - or rather, Yuna's - hair is in a very tempting long ponytail, but she's also aware enough of the risks of people pulling on that for her to stay alert. (She has to keep it gathered up somewhat more when she's using her SDP gear, too, lest it get tangled up in the 'backpack' part where the engine goes ... this is probably why so many long-haired kanmusu have twintails.) Other than that, though, she totally doesn't mind having the island children running around her; the idol/warrior/light cruiser girl giggles softly, and introduces herself to the kids: "My name's Yuna, and we're here because we got an 'invitation' - but we're kind of trying to sort out who it's from."

The Elder herself comes to greet them, then; Yuna bows politely to the village matriarch. "I'm Yuna Kagurazaka, ma'am. I would disarm to show my peaceful will, but I don't have an easy way to re-equip these for the voyage home." It's mostly true - but the one alternative that *would* let Yuna swap out of kanmusu gear would leave her in her *other* battlesuit ... and Elner still hasn't quite mapped the SDP equipment to reverse the transformation from the Light Suit to her fit-out. At least she can keep the 'rifle' slung ... and at a mental suggestion, her turrets all swivel and elevate to point as close to 'straight up' and 'away from whomever Yuna's talking to' to at least provide visual proof that she doesn't intend on shooting anyone. If the turrets were designed to show open breaches, she'd do that as well.

Elner, in the meantime, bob-nods to Psyber. "Yes, she took part in the evacuation of Njorun, and she's been re-locating her old familiar places. She may want to drop by your Boston at some point, if it's convenient ... and being a free agent again seems to agree with her, much as she appreciated being with the Union."

Once Yuna is in sight of Psyber, she grins and waves back to the detective - but the island's guardian is of slightly greater import right now, and Yuna turns to regard the approaching aircraft carrier. Elnet flits over to hover by Yuna's side, the robo-faerie scanning while Yuna depends on her eyes (and her radar) for what she can. The wear-and-tear visible along the hull gives her a slightly eerie feeling ... but more than that, Psyber seems to know the carrier personally?

Yuna bites her lip slightly, then shifts her brain back into 'light cruiser Kagurazaka' mode, transmitting to the approaching carrier: 'Light Carrier Kagurazaka of Hikari greets to the carrier approaching this island, and apologizes for not recognizing you without identification.'

Eerie feeling or not, she can at least be polite.
Wo It's understandable that Nagato wouldn't want to dally here. This is taking time out from her and Yuna's normal mapping operations, which will be of benefit to many mariners in the Multiverse, both normal humans and humanoid warships alike. It's important business! As she goes, the Elder gives an understanding nod, "I understand. If you like, you can leave contact information with our radio operator. Though...long range communication seems to be spotty, as of late." Understandably so. She also has some of the other adults come to claim their throngs of children so that they won't be disturbing their visitors, as they go to meet the strange war vessels pulling into harbor. Exchanging that kind of information is probably better left to Ooyodo, at another time.

Yuna, similarly, has a good point about not being able to easily stow rigging here. The village does have a machine shop, but it's catered specifically to the scrapping and salvage business, and she *heavily* doubts that they want series of three, resounding clangs for the moment. "Your words will do. If you had bad intentions, you could have fired from much farther away, correct?" They've not often been direct party to conflicts, but they recently had the misfortune of seeing things first hand. With that, she leaves them all be, for the moment. There are preparations for other guests to make.

The pier of the island, while it's perfect for humanoid ships, isn't quite so for the full size versions. Both drop anchor dramatically just off the beach head, and the locals head out in small rafts to retrieve what looks like human passengers and cargo from both of the vessels. The passengers, unlike the locals, seem to be a mixture of uniformed military officers, as well as business suited officials and diplomats, perhaps retrieved from whatever nation is at this island's shores. During this process, another figure appears on the deck of the carrier, and seems to gaze down at those gathered on the docks. It's a female, certainly, and everyone could be forgiven for thinking she looks vaguely familiar, somehow. "That's uncalled for," comes an admonishing (but seemingly, not really insulted) voice in response to Psyber over the loudspeakers, which would also tickle those identifying senses in the back of the mind. "It is fine, Kagurazaka. I'll come greet you formally shortly."

After everything is unloaded, while some glances are exchanged with the other foreigners on the island, they all similarly seem to be moving toward the Elder's. Must be those 'other guests'. Which leaves only the two anchored ships. Two humanoid shapes leave the decks of both, causing them to disintegrate into motes of light, and collapse in a groaning heap back into the depths, respectively, and they glide over the water the rest of the way to shore. Nagato would easily recognize at least one of them now: It was that Tsu-class that was hanging around with Wo so much, before. She'd managed to avoid Leviathan mode and obtain an Ocean Fit-Out of her own? Then this other young woman should be...but that seems unlikely, doesn't it?

As both come up onto the docks, there's no doubt about it, though. While she has an actual flesh tone now, and her eyes aren't glowing some ominous color, the facial structure and overall stature hasn't changed. That's definitely 'the' Wo. She had been strong and professioal while the villagers were around, since that is what they had come to expect of her. Her duties to this place to having been her salvation were deeply rooted. Now that it's just the four of them, plus the Tsu-class light cruiser, her knees finally quiver and buckle, before she kneels down upon the docks. "You're all safe...thank god. I've gone almost a week without knowing, who got out alive, and who didn't. Today, I finally set out signal beacons the villagers helped build, hoping that you might hear."

Wo The Tsu-class flips up her recently fractured helmet like a visor, exposing a perfectly human, though still Abyssal, face for what would be the first time for Yuna. Her eyes have taken on a yellow glow, as opposed to the red from before, and her voice seems a little clearer. "...this is -- Hornet. But...you know her, as Wo." She somewhat robotically parrots the sentiment of the other woman, "Thank god."
Guest Psyber     "She's more than welcome to come by and visit again. The weather's kinda shit right now. Damn polar vortex," Psyber says in a pretty relaxed tone, tapping some more ash from his cigarette and putting it back into the corner of his mouth a moment later.

He turns his attention back towards Nagato, "Admiral. Good to see you weathered that storm. I figure if you're here, the port is still around and kicking. That's good to hear." He gives her a respectful half-salute and then turns his attention towards the incoming ship.

"Uncalled for but not inaccurate!" He points out, waving his hand a couple times and then rocking back and forth on his feet. He crosses his arms and then looks on as Wo finally appears on the dock. The half-angel crosses his arms and then asks, "Finally coming out the the secret, then? Good. It was getting to be such a hassle to keep your secret," He grumbles a bit and sighs.

"Yeah, I'm fine," He eventually confirms for her, wagging his hand back and forth in the air a bit, "I'll give you the short version now and the long version later. I'm a free agent now. Staffing agency, contracts for hire. No Union, no new faction to line up with." He makes a hand-washing gesture.
Nagato     Nagato already has an important mission, but this one right here is becoming slightly more important. "Of course, I shall have Ooyodo contact you to help with your own communications issues." she offers, she'll write down more information later for the elder as Nagato's own rigging turns up and in an inactive 'I'm not going to shoot' sort of way. She never mastered how to do things like Kongou does with her rigging...

Nagato's eyes focus towards the carrier, though, her scout plane returning for refuel... A woman... and a familiar-ish voice. Nagato makes way for the guests on the way, not her place to impede in this area, not to mention her new Paladin duties. Though the second ship gets a closer look as well, the two figures coming. Her eyes fall back to the other woman approaching... that look seemed so familiar.

Proud stature, set facial expression, it's only when the Wo-class comes close that Nagato's eyes brighten, and when the Tsu-class flips her helmet up... that's a face she's recognized. The Tsu-class she spent that evening watching movies with in Boston... When the Tsu-class confirms its wo... (and the radio confirms it), Nagato takes a few steps forward, then quickly makes her way towards Wo as she falls to her knees.

"Wo... you're safe. And Tsu-class. Then that I-class?" she questions, though Nagato's familiarity with this might set off a couple things with Yuna... and maybe Psyber. "The entire fleet is safe, Wo." she comments, offering a hand up to her to pick up. "I apologize about the armament, we were on patrol and mapping expedition." She looks between Wo and Tsu... and lets out a smile, it was good they were safe.

"You've changed a lot." she comments, "Looks like you've... rescued yourself from the Abyssal grasp." a look to Tsu, "My apologies, Tsu. I'm glad you're safe as well."
Yuna Kagurazaka Having bad intentions towards the island or its occupants would have required knowing that there was anything - or anyone - on the island to have bad intentions towards, or about, in the first place. But that's kind of beside the point - Yuna's words were accepted, that's enough for the time being.

As for the reply from the incoming carrier ... Yuna can't QUITE place the voice at first, although she thinks she recognizes it. Not quite like this, though ... ?

The ships are unloaded - and then they're no longer 'ships'. Yuna's eyes go wide as the Tsu-class and Wo revert to their 'Abyssal' forms - and then her expression goes from surprise to joy, almost a giddy glee, as she approaches the two. She wants to run and pounce, but she keeps a semblance of decorum together. At least briefly.

She's not keeping her decorum shored up to the point that she won't try to hug Wo, though - possibly trying to twirl her around, despite not having the height or upper-body strength to do so. "It's so good to see you again! And we aren't enemies any more, that's *awesome!* I'm glad you made it, Wo - and you as well, Tsu!" she adds, trying to give the Tsu-class a hug as well for good measure.

Yep, same old Yuna, just like always.
Wo "So it's true, then...both the Confederacy and Union are no more." Though her voice is no longer stilted and suffering from abrupt cutoffs, nor the reverb that Abyssal sapients possess, she's still softly spoken. Not like the original, somewhat spicey spirit of Hornet that Psyber and Marisa had encountered long ago. It seems that it was a clean fusion in her case, if it had to be guessed at, rather than one personality completely overwhelming the other. She draws a hand up to one of her eyes, wiping away actual tears of a lot of mixed emotions. The entire reason she'd been there at the Citadel was to try and call in enough leverage that, when she did break away, she could do so without her own faction rising against her. Now, though...those worries seem so very far away.

She finally regains some of her composure, now, and glances up. Her eyes look a bit mistier now, and she allows herself an actual smile, first to Psyber. "I'm sorry, it's been difficult for everyone else, too. Though...it's as I'd expected of you, Psyber. The multi-layered contingency plans." She'd seen it from him in his directing of Kongou, and in other operations. "...I may have to depend on you, sometimes." She says that as though it'd be imposing upon him something that he hadn't already been accepting of, anyway. "I'll come see Kongou, too. As soon as I'm able. This island is still setting up a formal ferry service with their new neighbors." And so many other things, now that the fighting has stopped.

She moves her eyes to Nagato, next, whom had come next to her and offered a hand up. A hand up that, while once it might have been refused, is accepted this time. She stares at her for a good, long moment, before shifting forward and trying to place her arms around her, almost in the same motion as rising. It's brief, even if it's accepted, since she doesn't want to make a scene. "It's enough to know that I'm not alone," she says, with a light shake of her head at Nagato's apologies. Abandonment is what got her into this mess to begin with, it was not going to be a great next few weeks if she didn't hear any response. To the topic of the I-class, she momentarily looks back to the Tsu-class, that simply gives a subtle shake of the head in response. "We...don't know. We haven't heard anything. She was not with us at the Citadel, however, so she is hopefully safe in Boston, somewhere." She has a strange notion of where that might be, if so. Hopefully she didn't foolishly try a solo search and rescue. The Tsu, despite that, mimics the same gesture that Wo/Hornet had, moving to encircle Nagato in those enormous gauntlets.

There's a light bite of her lip, to Nagato's exuberance, as well. "I did...I couldn't condone what Samar was doing, any longer. I can't hear the song anymore, either. But, I still want to save them...to give them the choice of the same journey I've had. I hope you'll understand."

Yuna isn't forgotten, either. When Wo was still something of an unknown in the Multiverse, it was her that showed her a...sillier side to battle. Just as she turns to address her, she finds herself already swept up into another, far more energetic one by the girl. "...grk!?" It's all she can do to keep getting knocked off balance, or perhaps capsizing would be the better word. After recovering, she actually manages a light laugh of her own, a genuine one, not a hollow, reverberating chuckle, and lightly returns it, with a pat to the back. "It's good to see you, too. It's been a long road...and we still have so far to go. Thank you all for being there for me." She thinks for a moment, then suggests, "Once things settle down...let's head somewhere and get some ribs." There you go, Psyber. CHANCE.
Nagato     With two of her main enemies... not even enemies anymore, this brings Nagato to relax quite a bit... could it be that her war was over? Could she actually rest? No, that wasn't in Nagato's gameplan at all, and soon, there's hugs coming from Wo... and Tsu. She backs away a bit and with a click and a resounding THUD, she lets her armament drop to the ground before embracing the two in a hug herself. "So... it won't be odd to come... watch a movie with you two. "You're not alone anymore, Wo... Tsu. I'm not sure the Fleet will welcome you both but I, as their Admiral, shall inform them that... our war is almost over... no, is over with you."

Ribs? "I would be glad to have a dinner with you two... openly too. Without hiding our actions from the respective fleets. So, have you found purpose in life beyond this island and those inhabatants?" she questions, "We're expanding Hikari's functions to something more... multiversal. And with us no longer needing to fight you, we can fully divert a lot more to protecting the seas than ever before." she gives another smile, "And maybe... we can join forces... even with Tsu there... to drive back Samar and his Abyssals away from the ocean, so we can finally live free."
