Henry Jekyll The land juts out into the ocean here, a small peninsula with steep cliff walls that reach straight into the ocean, there is no gradual sloping, fall down and deep water is immediate. There's a few hoversurfaces available for people wish to go down safely but don't have their own means, self-operated through a simple voice activated autopilot system.

That's not the only way the League has gone out of its way to accomodate people, there are a couple of ways those who do not have any innate ways to help with a project can provide their own aid. First, the easiest way, a simple setup where people can plug in an energy source of their choice to power the enlargement device, any source of energy will do as long as it can be converted to electricity somehow, including through the simple processes of heating a steam engine or spinning a wheel.

Otherwise, the site itself is chosen for a certain degree of mystical significance, the leylines that cross beneath it a potent power source... and one that could attract unwelcome visitors if drawn upon too much, so the League has made sure there are plenty Marauders ready to provide security just in case.

Anyone who is bringing food or drink is also quite welcome. The League does not check any of it for safety, and cannot be held accountable for any discomfort, side effects or deaths incurred by consuming snacks provided thus.

Jekyll himself is operating a lemonade stand near the enlargment device.
Gudako Ordria     Gudako, today, has brought only Caster. Berserker is back home, currently in the process of making more cookies. Significantly more cookies. The League may not run out of cookies for a while courtesy of Henry's bonus to Victor which went to Berserker, whose ability to spend money wisely is summarized in the fact she spent the entire bonus on flour, eggs, chocolate, cream, milk, frosting and a number of other ingredients.

To wit, there are a few boxes of those cookies next to the lemonade which people are free to help themselves to. See Gudako's report for what the cookies look like. Hint: delicious.

While Gudako herself is enjoying a glass of lemonade, and still trying to ask Henry whether or not he will let her look at his stats (normally she wouldn't even ask but since he's her boss she's being extra polite for faction grinding purposes), Caster is standing by the device, having converted the area into a minor magical workshop which confers a small bonus to friendly magic used within the confines.

She has also plastered the device with talismans and paper slips. While a few of them are spells to make something grow huge, Gudako was much more practical in her instructions.

What Caster has done, for the most part, is cover the machine in amplification spells. On their own, useless. But paired with the myriad spells other people are about to bring into the equation? Absurdly broken.
Bramble Patch There is plenty of power to be given, because Bramble Patch has caught lightning in a bottle!

... No, seriously. She has several bottles of some alchemical concoction that she leaves out when it storms, that store the electricity of lightning bolts striking the metal rods affixed to them. They store power AND function as lightning rods, win-win. How else do you think she has power in a cabin in the middle of the most isolated dark forest in Equestria.

Though at the moment the pony is busy switching the covers with the lightning rods for covers with connections and tubes that are plugged into the machine.
Rhapsody     Who wants to make an apex predator even more apex-y? Huh? HUH!?

Well, the answer from the Izzet League is clear. They -want- to help make a shark gianormous, so, the Guildmaster, her brother, and a few random magewrights and goblin assistants have arrived to see what they can do. They have arrived via a stratozepplid, a zepplin like creature that just floats along with a carriage underneath. With the Izzet dropped off, the magewrights wander off to the hoverplatforms to start setting up. Rhapsody and her brother, Ryxinel, wander over to take a look at the enlarging device and get a little lemonade from the League's boss. "Good day, sir. I'd like to introduce my brother, Ryxinel. He focuses on artifact making and forging mizzium for our larger projects." The red dragon gives a nod to Jekyll.
Medusa Gorgon     It's quite an important day, a start of something new... And what better way to celebrate it than with science and refreshments?

The arrival of a certain serpentine witch shouldn't be too hard to spot as she comes in by air on a flying broom. Except she isn't alone, as a spindly youth seems to follow in her wake, big black wings sprouting from their back along with a hideous head. At least they're somewhat silent as they land not too far from where Jekyll serves his lemonade, and the blonde witch offers the man and the others nearby a warm smile as she gets off of her broom, working to unhook a large basket that she had fastened to it. "Good evening, fellow information seekers," she greets them. Behind her the youth looks a bit uncertain, their wings withdrawing back into their back as they lets out a shudder. They too are carrying a large basket, though there's a scent of... cookies? coming from it.

"There are quite a few people here already," Medusa muses, glancing to and fro. "It's a pleasure... For those of you who do not know me, I am Medusa Gorgon." Perhaps a name that rings some bells for certain people.
Neva Fernandez     Neva Fernandez can't help but eye the project a little, as she questions, "We are aware that the megalodon shark exists and was the largest shark in the prehistoric ages, right?" Perhaps the least directly sciency person present, the Deckmaster is standing not from the rest of the Izzet League bunch, closer a bit to Rhapsody and company, yet still a bit separated from them.

The question of the day for her has been 'how do I help out here?' Trying to find herself some sort of purpose has always been a challenge. She eyes the powering area and bites her lip, pondering for a moment and tapping her chin.

Then a spark of inspiration hits her, as she draws a mote of Blue mana out from the world around her, and casts it out to summon a Blistercoil Weird. "Bob, you can be useful today..." She guides the coil to a spot where the device can be plugged in, and if a plug is available, she jams it right into the Weird's head. "There we go."
Bramble Patch Once she's got her lightning jar batteries hooked up to the device, Bramble Patch meanders back over to Jekyll's stand. "There, all ready to go... Oh, hi Medusa." At least one familiar face around here, at least. The Izzet dragons, on the other hoof, get a somewhat wary look. "Huh." Then back to Medusa. "You might want to stick a few gemstones in some of the cookies. Cuz, y'know." She bobs her head in the direction of Rhapsody and Ryxniel.

What, all the dragons she's known eat precious stones. No one ever gave her a reason to think otherwise of other dragons.
Crys Gattz So here is Crys she heard they were making a huge ass shark, She's wearing a blue bikini top, hot pants and a photone gauntlet, also a choker with a glowing hologram of some sort in it. She grins a bit as she arrives. Though she darn well has weapons /in the gauntlet/. She then taps it causing a beach umbrella to appear which she puts into the sand and soon after comes several coolers and BBQ, which she sets about cooking various strange meats.

"BBQ and drinks!" She also takes a look at Neva for a moment as she jacks Bob in. She might donate a bit but for now cooking and enjoying the scenery here at the league get together.
Lima Ultimos High in the sky, a fog cloud rolls in. Inside the fog (which is not supernatural and seems to be cheap fog from several fog machines) is a brigantine-model pirate ship dating to the 17th century, the Coma Navaja. A rotted, cursed-looking ship, it approaches the peninsula slowly. And then, it finds a large empty space to park. And then, slowly, it parks very evenly, without bumping into any obstacles. The ship creaks loudly, noises emanating from it rocking that sound like a yawn, and the fog disappears as all the fog machines are turned off.

There's a crew of about one hundred undead-looking pirates manning the ship, as the gangplank drops down and a small group of them disembark, lead at the back by two figures: a tall man in a tricorne hat with gray eyes, snake-like gray skin, golden blonde hair, and a ratty black and green cloak over a long sleeved tunic. His belt buckle over his trousers are super fancy and one of his sea boots looks off, as if shaped like a wedge. He has incredibly long claws and massive, oddly-shaped horns, and a mass of carnivorous flowers protruding from his right shoulder and extending down into his forearm. The other man, meanwhile, is shorter but more muscular, also horned but has no claws, has a cadaverous red-brown complexion, long and straight red hair, and is wearing a wide-brimmed hat and a very colorful long vest. The taller man, ostensibly the captain, is armed to the teeth.

The group of undead pirates carry a large, heavy log of /something/ between them as they approach the gathering. They look for somewhere to put it up, do so, and then stand guard over it, led by the shorter man. The taller man, meanwhile heads off to mingle. Specifically, by heading to the lemonade stand. "Yarr! I be looking to buy a glass o' yellow drink! How much it be a cup?" Lima Ultimos takes a glance across those around him. Towards Rhapsody and Ryxinel, towards Gudako, and everyone else nearby. He tips his hat towards the whole lot. "Yarr! It be a pleasure to be meeting all of ye! I be Lima Ultimos, the Revenant Spaniard! How be ye doing?"
Staren     Staren, unfortunately, is not one for building or enlarging creatures, so he's working on the power end of things. He's also brought a pasta dish consisting of pasta, butter, cheese, spices, onion, and diced meat from some of the alien wildlife of AMALGAM (it tastes like chicken,) together with a stack of paper bowls and plastic forks set at the lemonade stand.

Staren has brought his mecha, which is sitting near the enlargement device with a giant power cable connected to its reactor.

Staren is standing nearby, munching on a cookie and trying to draw power from the leylines that cross here.

    Staren is not a techno-wizard.

So, he's surrounded himself with an array of generators meant to run off one kind of energy and convert it to another -- steam turbines, solar cells, heat-to-electricity converters, electromagnetic brakes, and so on.

On Staren's left forearm is the Second Gauntlet -- a brass gauntlet with wires running from the base up to the end of the fingers, looking like they're meant to be some sort of antennas, but not actually connected to anything.

He grabs the handle of one of the devices -- a gas-powered generator -- with his gauntleted hand, then uses his free hand to open a molly-guard on the back of his forearm and flip a toggle switch. The generator begins to fade away from reality, followed by Staren's hand... he flips the toggle switch, and the process reverses, but now the generator is some strange crystal-studded device with alien-looking plugs on it. He opens the gas tank and shines a light in at the crystal dust it's now filled with, and shakes his head, then goes to repeat the process with one of the other devices.

Randomly rolling an infinity-sided die and hoping you get 'ambient magic to electricity' might take awhile. Fortunately, he doesn't need 'to electricity', as long as one of the other devices present can use the form of energy the re-rolled machine ends up outputting.

    What's infinity times several, again?

After a couple mroe tries, Staren gets something with lots of antennas and air intakes of some kind on it. Promising? He flips a switch, and it begins rattling, and then starts trying to pull towards Lima, as if drawn to the spectral energy of the undead. Staren quickly turns the device off and tries shifting it into something else. "It's okay! Everything's okay."
Medusa Gorgon     "Hmmm?" Medusa cants her head towards Bramble, raising both eyebrows. "I sadly didn't bring any gemstones with me..." Why would Bramble assume that they would want gem stones? For other than monetary gain, that is.

Meanwhile the teenager behind Medusa looks to and fro, rather skittish in their movements and how they're clutching their hands, fidgeting. "... all new people... I... I don't know how to deal with that," they mutter seemingly to themself. At least until a black shape grows out of their back, leaning over them. It's... large. And kinda freakish looking, with white gloves, and strange eyes as it looms over the slim human. "Just shut up already, Chrona! We're here for the food, aren't we?" it says with a male voice, and the youth, Chrona, gasps and tries to desperately hold their basket away from the large figure's grabby hands. "Aaaah, noo! She told us we couldn't eat them yet, Ragnarooook!" Though after some brief struggle Ragnarok suddenly raises his head and sniffs into the air... before he suddenly gains a mouth, a mouth set in a wide grin as he /drools/. "There's... pasta here!"

All of this is ignored by Medusa as she peers up at the approaching ship with its ghastly crew. As Lima introduces himself however she smiles, offering a polite nod of her head. "A pleasure to finally meet some of you face to face, I must say..." A glance is given towards Staren, Crys, Neva... These are some people she does not know yet. But tonight is a night for meeting new people, is it not?
Neva Fernandez     Now that Neva has plugged the Shark Embiggener into Bob the Blistercoil Weird for power, which she thinks is the right way to do it, she hmmms a little more before drawing out a mote of Red Mana, and points a finger at the sky, before tracing her finger through the sky and pointing it over to the nearest lighthouse, or at least something with a Lightning Rod.

Because with that summoned a brief storm cloud, which billows in the sky, and crackles with static before firing a LIGHTNING BOLT out of the sky to the Lightning Rod, or Lightning Rod Analogue, whatever it may be. Why does she do this?

Well, in the act of casting Magic, Bob, the Blistercoil Weird, suddenly just gets BIGGER, and pumps more juice into the machine. Neva grins and shoots a fist into the air, "Hooray! I made Science Work!" And for her success she wanders over and picks a couple of cookies from the platter and munches on one, "Mmm, Oatmeal Raisin..." Munch munch munch.

She then looks up to Medusa and gives her a wave, "Oh, sorry... Never been much of a social butterfly... Ummm.. I'm Neva. Neva Fernandez. Planeswalker, Cardslinger. Izzet Apprentice-ish person."
Henry Jekyll Jekyll takes one of the cookies offered, and when asked about the price of his Lemonade he smiles, "All Lemonade is on the house tonight." The Lemonade is really quite well made at that, after all, cooking is basically just applied alchemy. He takes a sip of his own and asides to Lima, "Things are starting to spin up, have you brought the shark?"
Rhapsody     So many allies, so little time. Even with who people may have been allied with before, the upheaval has wiped Rhapsody's proverbeal slate clean. Medusa? Crush? Bramble? Everyone else? Reputation reset! When the snake-mage offers a treat, it goes well with the lemonade she was given. Ryxinel also has his own which is keeping him from going off on a random tangent. He's prone to them.

"So, if biggifying a shark is what we're going to do, then I think my people are ready for it," she smirks at Neva. "And our resident planeswalker is certainly ready," then back to the others, "I think we're ready to get this show on the road."
Bramble Patch Bramble Patch is contently having lemonade and cookies, waiting for the next phase of the process to begin. She did her part with supplying more of the power, unless need of her actual botanical skills some how comes up. Nomnomnom snacks.
Lima Ultimos Anyone who looks at the log from the Coma Navaja will notice that it is, in fact, a really ratted net rolled up super-thick. After a few minutes of checking that it's secure, the short man guarding it runs back towards the ship. Meanwhile, Lima Ultimos smiles back at Medusa, before reflexively sidestepping without even taking a look behind him as Staren's device tries to come at him. "Aye, watch yeself, lad! What be ye doing with that, I felt a tingle!" After checking with Staren, Lima Ultimos turns back to Jekyll. "Well then, I be requesting one cup o'nemolade, please! Also, we have the shark, but we be having slight difficulties. We had to flood our hold to keep it safe during transit, but the problem be that getting it out of the hold is difficult. It killed three crew members before we be able to render it comatose, and now me crew be dealing with getting it loaded in a tank and transporting it over here."

As he says that, those looking at the ship will notice that it's making a ruckus again. A large number of crew members are wheeling a very, very large fishtank, which carries an average-sized shark inside. The shark is completely unconscious, and has a single slash mark against its throat, but seems to be alive. The crew, however, is having issues getting the fishtank down the gangplank and towards everyone. They might need some help, even as the short second-in-command runs over to assist. Lima Ultimos seems unperturbed, even by the fact part of his crew is dead. "So, we be talking about this on the radio, but I don't be thinking ye there. There be a possiblety to make the shark regenerating? We be thinking of mass-producing fins and selling them for a profit, and other boss, ladyboss, seem to be okay with the idea!" This is stated loudly enough to everyone, with a turn of Lima Ultimos' head, to see if anyone has any suggestions in that regard.
Medusa Gorgon     Whatever Medusa has brought for tonight's shark experiment isn't evident just yet, instead she stands calmly by the lemonade stand, holding her large basket in front of her. Neva's little weather magic is something else, and Medusa watches it all curiously. "How interesting... you can manipulate the weather, dear?" the witch asks. And she chuckles softly when she claims to not be a social butterfly. "That is quite alright, Neva... So you work with Rhapsody, is that it?" Medusa glances at said person with amusement. It's not like they've worked together before... "That must be interesting... what are your fields then? I'm not familiar with those terms... planeswalker and cardslinger." The woman does look sincere.

Now, onto the shark. That certainly piques the witch's curiousity, and she follows after Lima with the basket.

Off to the side, Chrona desperately tries to keep Ragnarok from eating all of the pasta that Staren brought.

"Oh, making the shark regenerate is easy," Medusa muses for herself as the large fish tank is wheeled out. "Chrona, help them."

"Yes, lady Medusa!" the youth responds, and Chrona runs over, Ragnarok still stuffing his mouth with some pasta before licking his gloves clean. "Okay Chrona, let's do this!" At least the crew should have an easier time with Ragnarok's strength as they work on getting the tank to where it's supposed to be. The witch meanwhile sets her basket down, opening it to reveal several vials, syringes and what looks like questionable medical tools. "We can inject the shark with something that affects its tissue... it might be unstable in large doses however, and it requires that the shark get a steady intake of proteins to even handle the growth," she explains.
Crys Gattz Crys Gattz takes a look at Medusa, she knows of her but has never met her directly she does give her a looks and waves a bit while everyone lse keeps making ready with things. "Hi, you want something?" She calls out and keeps cooking away she also looks over to Neva and calls out to her. "Hey you want anything grilled?" She seems to be pretty friendly from thej looks of her though she is missing an eye but she also lets everyone else work on the science stuff. "You know my job's generally been dealing with bioexperiments gone bad..."It happens a lot on her world, far too much.
Henry Jekyll "If we can work that in, definitely." Jekyll answers Lima as the shark is put on one of the hoverplatforms, and another moves aside, the net gets stretched between them and they start to move down, at that point the enlargement device starts emitting a pulsing green laser, occassionally flickering other colours due to the nature of the power inserted, as it is aimed at the Shark, shattering the tank and rolling the shark into the net the moment it all hits water.

Jekyll moves away from his lemonade stand to watch the Shark start to grow, it starts at a measured pace, "Increase power." He instructs the men operating the device, and then he adds to the others, "Time to get to work, the Enlargment device should amplify any other growth methods applied to it."
Neva Fernandez     When Rhapsody mentions her, Neva blinks in confusion, "Whawhowa? What do you mean I'm ready, Rhapsody? Just did my bit... With Bob. Bob is doing the work---" She reaches out and in another simple motion fires another lightning bolt out of the sky. The reason being that the Blistercoil Weird seemed to be deflating, and Neva was enlarging it now and agin. "See? Big Blistercoil Battery. Not like there's anything else I can do."

Besides, making creatures BIG was Green's department.

To Crys she blinks, "Oh, just a steak, cooked to a medium, or something... Yeah." Neva goes back to nomming on cookies, before looking back to Medusa and correcting her, "Oh, no, it's not actually weather control... Just... How to put it..."

After a moment of thinking of her wording, she pulls out one of her decks of cards, "So, to define the terms, a Planeswalker is a special kind of Magic user. They're users of magic in their own right, a lot of them specialized in whatever field of magic they do, based on the five Colors of Mana, White, Blue, Black, Red, and Green, but that's not what makes the Planeswalker special..." She smiles, "A Planeswalker is able to step through the Blinding Eternities, the space between spaces so to speak, from one plane of reality to the next, traveling through the Infinite Multiverse, and there's a one in a billion chance of a Planeswalker emerging from any given Plane."

She draws her cards out, "I'm an even more special case... I say 'cardslinger' but that's really just a name for anyone able to use cards... No, the term for my kind of Planeswalker is 'Deckmaster'." She holds up a single Magic the Gathering Card, showing Medusa the back, and gesturing to the bottom where it says 'Deckmaster'. "It's a silly holdover name from the game's early days, but I guess it fits... I... Can't use a whole lot of magic without using the decks of cards as a focus... And not just draw a card and cast it, either... I have to play the game, by the rules, phase by phase, turn by turn... And maybe if I'm lucky, I'll get a good game..."
Bramble Patch Bramble Patch pauses in mid-bite of another cookie as Jekyll says its time to get to work on the next phase. Quickly shoves the rest in her mouth, grabs a glass of lemonade to wash it down, and is still chewing even as she scurries to get into position. She hops down a few hover-platforms to get a bit closer to the actual shark suspended in the net, and rubs her forehooves together.

Time to make another good impression, or so she at least things. Contributing to a group effort, after all.

Bramble rummages in her vest for a moment, finally producing a large flask of some bubbling concoction. "Told 'em I could find a enlargement elixer." She gives the flask a few shakes to stir it up, then pulls the cork off with her mouth and dumps the rest over the edge of the platform to splash it on the shark farther below.
Medusa Gorgon     Even as she works on looking through the medication she brought it appears that Medusa is listening as she tilts her head a bit, smiling at Crys. "Ah, something to drink would be lovely..." she responds. "And if you have something warm I suppose I could grab a bite to eat." And oh, what's this? At the mention of biological experiments Medusa does pause slightly in preparing a syringe, watching Crys closely. "If you have an interest in such things then I would urge you to join the BIOME division. Combined efforts will make our job so much easier, don't you think?" Why shouldn't she advertise the division she has been put in charge of?

My, aren't there many cheery young women here today? While Medusa isn't too well versed in the specifics of what Neva is talking about she does pay close attention, drawing up the liquid from a vial into a 20 mls syringe. "So... you are dependant on the cards going in your favour to cast your magic? How interesting... I would very much like to see more of it sometime~," she comments before she flicks a finger carefully against the syringe. "Chrona. The tail."

Immediately the teenager is there to do as told, though they do seem a bit reluctant as they pull up their sleeves... and hesitates just slightly before climbing up the side of the tank. "Ragnarok, you have to grab it!" Immediately the large figure protruding from Chrona's back snorts. "No, I hold onto the ledge and /you/ grab the tail, pipsqueak!" After some brief bickering it eventually ends with Chrona reaching their hands into the tank, Ragnarok keeping them from tipping over and in... and then Chrona yanks on the shark's tail. It's a good thing it's unconscious! Either way the tail raises slightly from the water, making it easier for Medusa to prepare a thick needle for the syringe... and then inject the substance into the creature.

The results should be easy to see after a few seconds. The muscles twitch here and there in places, even as the skin does get a few dark blisters.
Staren     "Sorry!" Staren calls to Lima after a device HUNGERS FOR HIS SOUL or whatever.

Eventually, Staren gets a device that's producing power from some ambient source -- whether it's magic, science, or hubris, is difficult to say. Staren plugs it into the Embiggening Device and gets a tall glass of lemonade before walking up to the others. "Dr. Jekyll! A pleasure to meet you face-to-face at last! Neva, Bramble, Rhapsody! Good to see you again. And you must be Medusa. And... Lima. Good to finally meet you, sorry one of my devices tried to eat you." He offers a hand to shake. It's not the one with the gauntlet on it. That would just be asking for trouble.
Rhapsody     A smirk is sent Neva's way, "You're clever enough to figure out something else, Neva, I'm sure of it. You're Izzet! Think outside the box," she start, peering at the plug sort of jammed into Bob. "... Even more than you are now!"

As Jekyll announces it's time to get down to brass tacks, and Rhapsody knows just what to do. The Izzet are doing similar to what Neva is. Lightning and other sorts of electrical manipulation. Fire here and there to help power the device. Ryxinel has actually brought a fairly large mana battery. The two halves of it, one red, and one blue, are going to generate power by explosions! That's what the Izzet do, after all. Motes of red and blue collide into one another, and the resulting explosion is converted into energy which, once plugged in, is sent straight to the biggifier!

Rhapsody, for her part, did some studying and found a red spell to cast. The red scales she now has glow for a moment, and then a spell known as 'Brute Force' will be sent into the shark! ... Hopefully they can keep it docile and unconscious.. still, it'll make it bigger. ... and stronger. . . but certainly more angry if it is awake.

Izzet Science isn't fun if it isn't dangerous.
Crys Gattz Crys Gattz says "Sure one Booma steak coming up then!" She grins at Neva and gets to work on cooking she puses looking over to Meduca again and tilts her head a bit and says "Sure then what would you like beers and pop's in the coolers. As for meat I got Booma and Wolve today."
Medusa Gorgon     There we go! Medusa pulls back, setting a cap on the syringe. Somehow she looks amused as she turns towards Staren. "I am fairly certain we have met before, Staren. I /am/ old, but I believe I'm not senile," the blonde chuckles with amusement glinting in her eyes.

Ah, yes. Refreshments! "A booma would be nice," she responds, walking over to the coolers, pulling out a beer for herself.

In the meanwhile Chrona walks over to Rhapsody, looking a bit startled by all the magic that the Izzet league have decided to add to the sea creature. "Uh... what are you doing...?"
Henry Jekyll The magic of the Izzet and the Planeswalker together with the potions of Medusa and Bramblepatch make the shark grow and grow, the enlargment device starts to go into overdrive, and the growth rate starts to get exponential.

And it's a rather large exponent.

Within a minute, the shark goes from being sized like a large whale to being larger than the peninsula this is being organized from. The organizer gets up, hands raised to applauded "Wonderfu--" Jekyll starts to say, before systems start blaring, warning all present that the shark is suffocating while suffering from urgent heart failure. Dejectly, Jekyll sits back down, "Well, it was still a good effort."
Lima Ultimos "It be alright!", Lima Ultimos responds to Staren. The pirates finish their job of moving the shark, thanking Ragnarok and Chrona for assistance repeatedly. Lima Ultimos drinks his lemonade, and eagerly watches the shark grow. He's already coming up with nam- oh it's dying. This is bad. "Quick, we must be saving the shark! Do any of ye know shark first-aid, or have a way to be getting its heart to stop failing? Also, can we be using the growing effect on the tank and water itself?" They're all rough ideas because he doesn't have any special abilities in this regard, but he wants to save that shark, mainly because it was a good shark and he likes sharks. They give him good memories, for some odd reason.
Bramble Patch Eep. When the shark starts to really expand Bramble Patch quickly orders her hover-platform to move farther away from it. "It's working, its working! It's... working maybe a little too well." She maneuvers the platform closer to the ledge itself, ears splaying down as the alerts start to go off warning of various bodily failures.

"If it's growth is expodential, it's internal organs may not be enlarging at the same rate enough to support the larger body." That much she can at least hypothesize from what she knows of 'giant monster' biology because of the various creatures that reside in Everfree. "This is probably why most hydras have multiple hearts to make sure all their brains have proper blood flow."

Followed by a soft 'huh' at the pirate's suggestion. "... That would probably require somehow pumping growth elixir directly to the heart to increase it's growth farther buuuuuut," she leans forward a little to peer over the platform edge, "I don't know if it's safe enough to try and get close to for. Or have a syringe large enough to get through the giantified flesh."

She looks to the others, shrugging her shoulders a little. "But hey, arguably there's more to learn from failure than success, right? If everything worked the first time there'd be no reason to try for better later."

What can I say, she's use to having to rationalize strings of failures and setbacks. The logic isn't unfounded though.
Rhapsody     "Lots of things! My magewrights and my brother are powering the biggifier thing, and I'm casting the 'red' equivilent of a 'green' spell that makes creatures get really big and strong! It just has a side effect of rage," nervous laugh, "It should be fine!"

Cue warnings about the shark getting into trouble. "Or not.. Um.." the magewrights, and her brother, look a little uncertain. "... We aren't really doctors, Mister Jekyll, Um..." Sorry? She isn't even sure, but this is outside Izzet abilities to correct.
Staren     The shark gets big.

    And then it gets bigger.

And then it gets XBOX HUEG.

    And then it KEEPS GROWING.

Staren stares. He's not sure he's ever seen anything alive that big.

And then the 'alive' part gets called into question. "Oh, the Multiverse chooses NOW to start caring about the square-cube law?!"

To Bramble's suggestion, he adds, "Can we modify the machine to grow the heart more? Although, it will still need more gill surface area to assist in oxygen exchange..."
Neva Fernandez     Neva watches as the shark gets bigger and bigger, and biiiiiiiiiigger, before finally asking, "Remind me why we were making a shark ginormous again?" Then Shark Heart Failure, at which point Neva unplugs Bob from the Machine, and bites her lip, "Maaaaaaaaaaaaaybe this was a bad idea..."
Medusa Gorgon     Well, up on a hover platform! Medusa ushers Chrona onto one with herself, pulling the medical basket with her while the cookie basket is left down on the peninsula. With the shark...

"That is sort of to be expected when it grows that much," Medusa points out, looking entirely unphased. "Bramble is correct, as I am of the same opinion. The myocardia wouldn't be able to adjust to such a stressful reaction... I assume that troponine levels are through the roof, with arrythmia setting in, which again leads to ischemic damage to the myocardia... quite a vicious circle..." Chrona and Ragnarok pull back, looking quite startled. "Aaaah, I don't know how to deal with thaaaat! It's so huuuge!" Chrona wails, and Ragnarok lets out a yelp!

Does she know of a way to keep a heart from failing? "Well, I didn't bring any spare hearts with me that would suffice as they would all be too small, but... we can always strengthen its heart, I suppose." Several hearts might do the job, but... "It isn't safe to get close to it, no." Even so, Medusa turns towards Chrona, giving her child a pointed look. "You and Ragnarok go down there. Infect it."

The teenager freezes, and turns its head up to look at Medusa where they are kneeling. For a moment it looks like they are about to protest, but then they nod, their eyes going dull. Rising, Chrona extends their hand, and Ragnarok slithers back into their master's back, only to reappear as a black blade in their right hand. "Ragnarok..." Even as Chrona gets ready, Medusa glances to the others. "I would suggest you shield your ears if you don't like noise," she warns them, resting her hands on her hips.

"Screech Alpha!" Chrona finishes, and the blade opens its... mouth? And lets out a piercing shriek that could shatter glass. Swinging the black blade, Chrona sends a shockwave down towards the shark, aiming to slice into it before they /leap/ off of the hover platform! And on the way down Chrona slices at their left arm. Instead of regular blood however, there's something black that pours out... and Chrona aims to shove their arm down into any injury that Screech Alpha would have caused.

    Let the infection begin.
Henry Jekyll As triage begins, the shark hits its head against the cliff walls, losing a tooth in the process. "Reverse the polarity!" Jekyll commands one of the assistants, and the enlargement ray turns into a much less effectiv shrink ray. Enough to halt the growth and start shrinking it again, but it's not quite as dramatic.

Then, the black blood gets applied, and with its now more reasonable (but still massive) size and combined izzet and black blood rage and insanity, it dives into the sea, its restraints long since destroyed during its growth process.

The tooth that fell of remains the size it was when it fell out of the shark's mouth.
Crys Gattz Crys Gattz watches the Shark growing and growing and lts out a whistle she grings now at this, she's not the most fond about. he's justgoing to get the hellback from this she looks at this thing and she looks to Neva. "This ... is going to be .... bad." She can't help feeling pitty for she shark and wonders how much she lied to her self about this ending any other way she'll move to gurd her food however. Shis ig oging to end badly or it could go way.

"I ... think we're going to need a bigger boat....to deal with it later."
Bramble Patch "At least it didn't try to eat us," Bramble Patch retorts towards Crys.
Neva Fernandez     Neva just watches as the Shark goes berserk and swims off into the sea, before saying, "And so we have the birth of Jaws..."
Lima Ultimos As the shark is infected and released into the sea, Lima Ultimos smiles and salutes. "Be free, me friend, until we be recapturing you for science!"
Staren     Staren deploys his armor so he can use the noise-cancelling function of the helmet. He watches Chroma do... something. What is even going on. "Uhhh... did it get away?" Staren looks to Medusa. "Do we need to go get your friend out of the shark now?"
Medusa Gorgon     As the shark escapes captivity it appears that the young meister is still on its back, their black bloodied arm still stuck in the slash. "W-wait, this... AAAH! I AM STILL STUCK! I DON'T KNOW HOW TO HANDLE THIS!" Even amidst the wailing Ragnarok yells up, still in blade form. "Just yank your arm free Chrona, before we--!"

It's too late, and even as Chrona struggles the shark dives into the ocean.

Up on the hover platform Medusa looks rather calm about her child being washed out to sea with the now enlarged super predator, though she does arch an eyebrow at Staren. "Why? It's not like we can dive after it and catch up to it, now can we?" She shrugs, then maneuvers the hover platform back down to see what survived on the peninsula. Perhaps her other basket is there, after all.
Bramble Patch Bramble Patch just sits down on her platform, watching the shark swim away apparently with Medusa's friend hitching an unintended ride. Then looks down where the massive tooth fell out. "... Wait, if we're going to make a tower out of a giant tooth, do we call a mason, or a dentist?"
