Scene #5024: Explortion Of The Lost

Dukemon X	Much has changed in the Multiverse and while many may have settled into these changes, a particular former Royal Knight is having trouble navigating the land. Landmarks are all gone, even in the air nothing looks the same and rations are starting to run low. The Seven foot two metal humanoid walks through one of the tunnels, pushing away some underground vines to the side as he tries to figure out if he had traveled this place already or not. His teal eyes with gold flakes on the edge peer side to side before he rumbles, "... Is this the way?" Yes-- He is fairly lost.
Kari Wolf	Kari and Harriet are helping out Neo Arcadia by surveying the Four Caverns. Mostly they're looking for places that the city can put geo-thermal taps in, since magic is definitely not something the city has expertise in. For their own protection, they're in their armors; Kari in her heavier Dire Wolf armor, Harriet in her fully enclosed Mach Hare outfit. The place is pretty unpredictable after all. Kari gives Harriet the signal, one clawtip. Somebody's ahead. They stop and watch Dukemon pass through the vines, being cautious. Can't be too careful with all the undead running about. Since it isn't undead... "Hey, you look familiar for some reason." Kari says to the Dukemon.
Dukemon X	The voice echoes in the Caverns and it causes the tall armored figure to come to a stop. He looks around at first, before he at last locates the voice. His eyes falling on Kari Wolf and her companion. "... Kari?" He says her name tilting his head a bit before he chuckles, "Kari! It has been so long! It is good to see you again!" He places his black armored claw hands against his chest, "It's me. Duke!" He explains as he steps a bit closer but keeping some distance. "Who is your friend there?" He says looking over at the other.
Kari Wolf	Kari peers at the much larger form of Duke. Harriet's shoulder mounted gun is tracking the digimon, having never met this particular digimon before. "Oh, this is my sister Harriet!" Never mind that Harriet is twice the size of Kari. "Nice to see you again Duke! Wow... uh, you must have taken your vitamins." Harriet's gun stands down, the cream armored figure watching her sister, the body language spelling out confusion. Kari shhs at Harriet. "This is Duke, he's a friend, Harriet."
Dukemon X	"Hello Harriet." Duke says to her with a smile in his voice and a hint of it in his eyes, before he looks back over to Kari. "And haha... Not really." He scratches the side of his facial armor. "More like I ended up mastering my digievolution... Though... It came with a price." He admits as he glances off to the side. His eyes snap back to them both quickly, "So," He places his fists on his hip joints, "What brings you two here in the middle of nowhere... Or are you like me and aimlessly walking around in possible circles?"
Kari Wolf	Harriet pipes up, a much quieter voice than Kari's. "We're surveying the Four Caverns. We need new sources of energy and resources for Neo Arcadia. It was mostly solar power and now it's all underground." Kari nods. "Yeah! It's a big problem! Master and Taro said we should be do something called geothermal taps if we can find the right places!" Some things don't really change, like Kari's seemingly boundless enthusiasm.
Dukemon X	"Its-- underground now?" Duke asks and hrms softly. "That is troubling." He taps the chin of his face plate in thought. "Well. I am not really doing anything, so lets see if we can find your heat exhaust sources so they can tap into them." As he motions for them to follow, he looks around a bit. "Do you know the size of what they may need or-- is it just survey markings?" He asks the two as he moves another vine layer out of the way.
Kari Wolf	Harriet nods, her face obscured by her rabbit-eared helmet. "We found a few places..." Kari interrupts. "There's this place where the air is /on fire/, Duke. And then it meets up with some cold blasts and WHOOSH! Weather in a cave!" Harriet projects the map they have so far for Duke to see, being way more level-headed about this. A gesture brings up the area Kari is talking about.
Dukemon X	Duke stops, take a few steps back and leans over to take a look at it. "I see. Well, maybe we can find other locations like this. I'm sure the more of them we can find, the better chances this city will have powering itself." He closes his eyes in silent thought. "You... said his name was Taro? I-- Think I met him once... only once. Never had the chance to really speak with him." He shakes his head softly. "Anyways, lets go see what we can do to help your friend out."
