Alden The digital world!, the level where the portal is located really is doing nicely after all the work sealing the... bad stuff away from it, the level itself being a nice plains like area, grass, small forests around, bushes, even a couple houses!.
Seems to be time for harvest, the trees and shrubs full of ripe legs of ham, bacon and steaks!, and Alden is just being lazy and settled down on a large blanket near the gate, picnic style. He invited Mace over, fond of the big mice!, and hoped to just relax a bit, or set off to explore!. To be precise, he was busy arguing with his Shink about why he is not going to be her 'pet' for a dog show, even if he might win.
The gate does have a bit of security, in the way of an adorable small biped bear with a baseball cap with 'BEAR' written on it, and gloves, followed by a small yellow dinosaur, just patrolling around.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace steps through the gate, looking around at the meat trees. She blinks quietly. "...I think I read about this... it was in a simulation-verse for a cyborg security dog-thing while it wasn't on duty." The giant mouse chuckles, giving a nod to BEAR and sauntering over to Alden. "Yo... so this is the digiverse huh? It works a bit differently to what I'm used to..."
Pippi     Pippi has a bad habbit of showing up in the weirdest places when she's supposed to be somewhere else, especially when there were chores she was supposed to do like 'sweep the dojo' and 'put back all the practice weapons when you're done with them'.

So she had accidentally wandered, and had ducked into a handy portal, trying to avoid getting seen by the guy who sells hot dogs from that little cart.

And when she comes through the portal, the short mutant dog blinks. Half her face red, half white, she flicks up her ears in sudden attention as she crouches a moment near the portal, apparently not having seen the bear with BEAR on his hat, and takes a good...

        Long...

            Sniff.

... "Are... are those trees covered with *ham*?"
Alden The pair of 'guards' look curiously at the visitor... certainly not human, and the small dinosaur/reptile walks closer, "Hi!, welcome to the digital world... are you..." He is interrupted by the wave towards Alden, who gets up and rushes to meet her. The small dinosaur digimon grins, "Ah, friends!" he offers, before resuming the small patrol, the Bear giving Alden a nod. The bipedal canine is greeted by the Bear itself, looking at her curiously and smiling, "Hi!, looking around?" he asks, a bit too relaxed for a guard. The reaction gets a chuckle, "First time here?" the small bear asks.
Alden is too distracted by the big mice to do more than look in the direction of the visitor, before glancing back at Mace, "Friend of yours?"
Leyanne Leyanne Mace shakes her head and looks at Pippi. "No, she's not with me. She looks cute though.... hey, friend are you there?" A pause. "I think she's too distracted by the meat trees... not that I blame her I mean... meat trees?"
Pippi     Pippi blinks as she looks at the little dinosaur, and tilts her head. She glances around... trees amde of meat, small, bipedal creatures, one very large mouse.

And Pippi brings her hands up to her muzzle. She puts her hands over her muzzle, her ears pinning back as she takes a step back, and then she leans over to the dinosaur, and whispers: "Am I dead? Is this Valheavenish? Was I truly a Good Girl?"
Alden Alden gives Mace a hug, "I think you fit rather well in hear." he says, tail twitching slowly in a wag, focusing on the started Dog, "She looks like she saw a ghost or something." he muses. Katze, the small shinki (looks like a tiny cat girl) approaches Pippi, intrigued about the new person, "Are you ok?".
The dinosaur chuckles a bit, trying to lean up, "Nah, this is just the digital world." he replies, "As for the other part... well, you seem nice at least, don't worry, it's safe." he says, "You can go and grab a bit if you want." pointing to a nearby plant.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace chuckles softly, picking Alden up to return the hug. "Nah, nah I don't think this is heaven. Pretty sure I've only died once so far..." She laughs. "Officially, anyway." She grins, looking Pippi up and down. She vaguely remembers seeing Pippi's face on one of the lists of friendly folks back at the watch-house, though she's buggered if she can recall the puppygirl's name.
"So how's life treating you, Alden?"
Pippi     Pippi still has her hands over her muzzle as she looks over at Katze, her head tilting at the tiny cat girl, and she b links her mismatched eyes. Her tail gives a n involuntary wag, and then she grins. " nah, I'm not ok. I'm Pippi!" she introduces herself simply, "and I'm going to go and... investigate. Very serious mission, investigating." she states... and goes to investigate the trees bearing hams!

"This is the best day ever." she whispers, mostly to herself, backtracts a few feet, pets the little Aguman on the head "Thank you!" and then proceedes to do some investigating. Of the hams.
Alden Alden just wags and hugs back, "Glad you would make it." he says, grinning widely, and glancing around at Pippi curiously, trying not to chuckle much, "Oh, things are great actually, but I need to start... doing my work a bit more." he says, "I mean, between planning for future stuff, and how to integrate better to the multiverse, and just being lazy." he chuckles.
Katze giggles and flicks her tail, moving closer to the puppy!, "Nice to meet you! I am Katze." she offers, gracefully jumping and landing on the dog's shoulder, "Mind if I join you?". The Aguman rumbles at the pat "Just don't investigate too much or you'll get a tummyache!"
Leyanne Leyanne Mace nods "I know the feel. You know though if you ever need heavy-lifting, I'm always happy to help. And if there's ever trouble... did you see me on Insert local Jackass-equivalent for copyright reasons last night? Turns out medicine balls from pumpkin chunker cannons hurt. But I can dodge them." Pause. "Most of the time.
Pippi     Pippi was happily investigating the hams, but not eating them yet. No, she knows she has to be careful, but she is poking around some of the crops as she regards the tiny cat girl.

"Hello, Katze! Please do join me. I could use all the help I could get in this investigation... I'm from New York, so... this place is kinda like... a dream or something, right?"
Alden The digimon grins and squeezes Mace in the hug, "I did not, but now I kinda want to see that! I don't see that much tv down here." he says with a chuckle, "Glad to see you are ok, that sounds painful." he muses, "as for heavy lifting, can't think of much, but I will keep that in mind.".
Katze reaches to rub Pippi behind her ears in a hunch, giggling a bit, "Thank you." she says, tail twitching a bit more and watching the pup poke around all over the crops, "No, this is all real!... I mean it's the digital world... or so Alden told me." she says, "But, it's all real!"
Leyanne Leyanne Mace chuckles, calling out to Pippi. "It's as real as any other world in the 'verse. The... rules are weird, but if you can... exist there, it's real."
She looks back to Alden, lazily reaching out to grab a ham from a tree. "Yeah... pumpkin chunker dodgeball was great though. We got a bit silly towards the end..."
Pippi     "So, digital ham trees, a small digital tyranosaurus rex thing, a digital bear, a tiny digital girl with cat eaaa---" Pippi pauses as the scritching leads off to her just blinking a moment, straightening up and giving a pause, her ears flicking a moment.

She picks a ham for each hand. And then puts one in her mouth to carry and picks another ham.

SO with three hams, Pippi wanders over to Leyanne and ALden, glancing between them and states:

"Wff irff uhr uhmkun shunkrr doshall?"
Leyanne Leyanne Mace blinks at Alden and Katze, then Pippi. "I'm sorry? Didn't quite catch that..."
Alden Alden laughs, "Pumpkin chunker dodgeball got silly?, nah, can't believe that." he says with a grin, licking his nose and reaching to get a bit of food for himself, "I am always up to just chatting or sparring, or just being lazy with friends." he tells the mouse. To Pippi, he waves, "We are real!, promise!, not a dream or anything." he reassures.
Katze rubs the ear again for a moment, but not hard en ough to distract the happy puppy with her food, "It sounds like a fun game!." she says, giggling.
Pippi     Pippi blinks, and looks between Leyanne and Alden, her head tilting up slightly, the ham tilting with her.

"Wff irff urh uhmkun shunkrr doshall?"
Leyanne Leyanne Mace nods to Alden. "Oh it always gets silly with the Asshats." She blinks a little. The second repetition makes it clearer. "You know it'd be easier to understand you without the ham in your mouth, love. Pumpkin chunker dodgeball is... well... you know the game dodgeball? That, but instead of throwing the ball at the other guys - and it's a big, heavy ball - you've got a huge aircannon that'll punt a pumpkin a few miles."
Pippi     Pippi blinks. She glances down at the hams in her hands, and then up again at Leyanne, then at Alden, and then back to her hands.... and then promptly just sits down and starts to make sure there is no ham in her mouth -- by eating it. Omnomnom, ham!
Alden Alden grins and approaches Pippi, "I cna hold that for you if you want, I promise not to eat it." he replies, listening to the explanation and licking his nose, "Or that, that works." he chuckles a bit, "Well, we don't have air cannons here unfortunately, so we can't try that." he muses.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace laughs and tucks into her own leg of ham. "No, but I've seen some of you digimon in a fight, you can play almost as well as me." She grins. "And don't forget I've sparred with you guys. I reckon you can throw pretty hard."
She grins at Pippi's method of ham removal. "Dogs. Gotta love 'em."
Pippi     "Hworr..." Pippi swallows, two hams left as she blinks, and gives a shake of ehr head, ruffling her hair so that it stick sup. "How heavy are they? I could try throwing them." she suggests, her tail giving a wag from where she's sitting.
Alden The Gabumon smiles to Mace, "And you didn't see my final form yet." he says, wagging his tail happily, "Tho I am not sure it is well suited for tossing medicine bags around." he says, taking a bite of his own food!, bacon strips. "He rubs his chin a bit, "I think they are heavy, but never held one."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace looks thoughtful "Varies between one and fifty kilos. The ones we were using were six kilos, semi-inflatable. About yay big." She holds her hands about 3ft apart. "Coming at the players at around 500mph. We didn't have the cannon tuned all the way up, 'cause it was making the medicine balls explode."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace adds "Bit harder than I can throw a medicine ball, but it's my average pitch speed with a baseball, if I use my left hand."
Pippi     "... hrm. I don't know if I could pitch that fast, but I was picking up the refridgerator and I saw a spider once, and Pex said that she didn't kno w fridges could be thrown that fast, usually they just run." Pippi states thoughtfully, considering the two hams in her hands. She glances at one ham, and then the other, and gives a soft 'hrm' sound before she tilts her head back, thinking. "I could probably throw a manhole cover that fast if it was like a frisbee. Maybe."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace grins "Mind seeing the medicine balls come out the barrel as shattered strips of leather and a rain of sand was pretty funny. BB got a proper sandblasting, it took some of the paint off his chassis." He's probably referring to a Transformer or other robotic organism." She mimes the noise of the cannon going off, with appropriate hand gestures.
She looks at Pippi. Cogs start to turn in her head. "I wonder if I could start a multiversal all-stars baseball team, or if we'd even find anyone to play against. I mean, let's face it, we're all Elites, we can either pitch, hit, or take a hit unlike anyone else. I'm pretty sure I could turn a mean frisbee arm into a -vicious- pitching arm..."
Alden Alden seems surprised to hear how strong the pair are, "I admit I never quite tried to do things like that, perhaps I should, I mean for training and stuff." he muses, rubbing his chin, "You two are quite strong." he says, smiling. He flicks one ear at the mention of frisbee, but tries to hide it. Katze grins, "Wow, bet one of those would hurt a lot."
Pippi     Pippi gives a look of concern, and then brings both her hands up to her muzzle, physically shutting it as her ears rise up, as if she had said something she wasn't supposed to say. However, with her hands over her muzzle, holding it tightly shut, she can't exactly eat more ham!

Perplexing and problem atic, she glances to Alden and Leyanne, before she just gives a huff of breath, shoulders sagging slightly.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace blinks a little. "Meep? Did I say something wrong...?" She tilts her head worriedly, tail lashing
Alden Alden tilts his head a bit while inching a bit closer, "What is wrong?" he asks, "Did I say something bad?" he asks, a bit concerned.
Pippi     Pippi just shakes her hea,d her eyes going wide as she looks at the hams, and reaches down with one hand, trying to handle two hams with one arm, attempting to wrangle them.

"Ah... just..." she begins, finally releasing her muzzle with her other hand. "... nevermind what I said."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace blinks a bit "You didn't say anything bad. We were only taking in sport competitive terms... not, y'know, actually hurting anyone."
Alden Alden rubs his chin, "I don't think I have anything like that around here, but we can try to setup a game sometime!" he offers, "Perhaps we can just play standard dodgeball, or with frisbees or some other sport."
Pippi     "Oh, no, it's... I'm not s'posed to talk about some things. 'Cause it's supposed t' be a secret. I mean, it is a secret, 'cause I didn't say anything. Oh!" She balances a ham on her wrist, and looks down at it. "It's ham o'clock! I've got to investigate that bacon bush over there." she states, points in a direction -- and thinking she might have misdirected Leyanne and Alden, she 'sneaks' away -- with both other hams.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace nodnods. "Oh! I think.." She watches her go, then nods to Alden. "Okaaay then. Maybe, that could be fun, when she gets back and if we can get a few more players"
Alden Alden grins adn nods, trying not to chuckle, "Take care!" he offers, not wanting to prod much. Katze jumps on Mace's shoulder instead. "I admit I never played much sports or anything, except frisbee, and sparring, and target shooting." he chuckles.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace nods "Oh target shooting's pretty cool. I'm also quite good at speed shooting, but maybe I got a bit of an unfair advantage with that"
Alden He just chuckles a bit, "Well, I might have some unfair advantages too..." he says, "I mean at aiming, sometimes."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace nods "True, though my left eye is pretty good for aiming too."
Alden Alden nods a bit, glancing up at Mace's face, "Ah, you sid you were part machine, right?" he asks, "Yeah, it's a bit like that for me."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace nods "I am, yes. I sorta got blown up" She laughs, rubbing the back of her head.
Alden Alden nods adn winces a bit, patting Mace's side, "Did not know you would rebuild someone like that." he says.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace nods "I'm actually lucky it was an anti-armour mine, not an armour piercing. Most of the damage came from a little pellet of semi-molten copper that went in my thigh and out my head. I got put into stasis but apparently I crashed completely twice. Woke up eighteen months later, and had to learn how to walk all over again."
Alden Alden winces a bit as he looks at his friend again, tilted his head, "Yes... it reminds me a bit of how I felt when I got almost erased a while ago." he muses, but tries to change the subject, "Still, seems you recovered nicely."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace nodnods and grins. "Oh man more than recovered, I'm upgraded baby." She giggles. "It's like the song, y'know? Harder better faster stronger. I'm all of the above compared to how I used to be."
Alden Alden nods and chuckles a bit, "Good to know." he says, offering Mace a bit of bacon before he finishes chewing the one he had, "So tell me, what have you been doing lately? besides dangerous sports?"
Leyanne Leyanne Mace chuckles "Not too much. Been looking into getting a bike shop with one of my c- friends, she wants me to work on her bike and I reckon I can have fun with it. SHe's trying to convince the Starks to let me borrow one of their workshops to do it too... that'll be a laugh if she pulls it off"
Alden Alden flicks hsi tail and ponders, "I should learn how to play sports... I only played catch." he chuckles, "Katze loves that because she keeps calling me her puppy... she tried to get me in a dog talent show more than once."
Alden Alden also adds, "Stark?, he has a lot of fun stuff."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace laughs "Nice. Sadly I don't think that'd go down all that way. I'd be happy to teach the rudiments of baseball to ya if you like"
Pippi     "That's silly. You don't look like a puppy. You look more like..." Pippi interrups. The hams are gone. Returning, she has bacon. And she is a happy puppy. Her tail is wagging as she plunks back down near Leyanne and Alden, looking at the two of them.
Alden Alden grins to Pippi, "I can look like a dog tho! if I want to." he says, wagging his tail, "Well, even more than I look right now." he says, "If you are not affraid of big four legged things." he replies, moving to offer Pippi a hand, "I'm Alden."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace smiles and offers her hand to Pippi. "I'm Leyanne. Most people call me Tiny." She's an 8ft mouse. Tiny... sure. She casually noms on her ham, relaxing.
Pippi     "Pippi!" Pippi introduces herself, reaching the non-bacon holding hand to shake Alden's, and then she pauses, hops to her feet, and gives a bow instead. She's learning! She's small, just over half Leyanne's height, and as she's bowed she says "I'm very pleased to meet you!" she states with plain happiness, and then straightens up. She pauses, and looks at Tiny.

    "... OH! It's... it's a funny nickname, since you're very tall?"
Leyanne Leyanne Mace grisn and nods "Uh-huh. It was that or 'Low Bridge' because I kept banging my head on doorframes."
Alden Alden snickers a bit, "That's a cute name." he offers to Pippi, shaking vigorously, "I can change my shape, if I want to." he says. The bow surprises him, but he returns it in kind of course, tailwags, chuckling at the history of the nickname.
Pippi     "That... makes less sense..." Pippi gets a concerned look "Are there a lot of really short bridges where you live? Or does everyone drive little cars so they're low to the ground and don't need the clearance? I don't hit my head very often 'cause I'm so short, but sometimes I'm kinda clumsy..." Pippi trails off, tail wagging.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace chuckles "It makes sense, 'cause there are a lot of bridges that're too low for trucks to drive under... and even though they're clearly labelled people still crash trucks into them. I... still forget to duck under doorframes sometimes."
Alden Alden grins, "I forget to duck on doors and dodge things when I change into a bigger form, still trying to learn how to properly fly around fast... I mean can't really turn around that well yet." he muses before wincing at that story, "My tamer told me that happened back near his home once, was a mess."
Pippi     "... that sounds like it's hard. I'm glad I don't change. And that I'm pretty small. It makes some things easier, but when I want to get to a high shelf sometimes I have to climb the shelves, and sometimes I hafta use the ladder. Which isn't very easy to move around because sometimes I forget it's long." Pippi looks embarrassed.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace nods to Alden "Yeah I can imagine that sucks." She nods to Pippi. "I'm always happy to help the altitude-disadvantaged."
