Tamamo no Mae     It's late in the afternoon, a certain fox woman coming out of a warpgate with a smaller woman and her pet robocat in tow. "Oh darling, it's beautiful here, isn't it?" she looks down towards Nozomi with a smile, the Caster-Class Servant, Tamamo no Mae, making a few steps past the warpgate, taking in the view of this world's Japan. "Ah, excuse me a moment..." she stretches a bit, and with a bit of magic, a more... noble looking woman is in Tamamo's place.

"There... but I don't think I can keep the illusion up /that/ long... I really dont like using this form." she mutters, walking forward, "Now, where is that Ramen shop... or that exorcist..."
Nozomi Houken     "It's... it's a lot like back home," Nozomi replies, never straying far from Tamamo as they step through the gate. That's praise, coming from Nozomi; she tends to favor familiar things, so having it look a lot like home is most certainly a good thing. She only regards the illusion with quiet interest and a bit of surprise... but Taiga, after a moment of 'scenting' the air and turning his ears towards the Servant, observes, "It might be more efficient to simply conceal your ears and tail, rather than fabricate a new appearance entirely." Without waiting for a reply, he turns, hunches down, and /leaps/ - right up to the nearest rooftop, where he can watch without causing a disturbance. ...probably.
Yomi Isayama "You're early!" Speak of the exorcist and she may appear, still in her school uniform, no less. The bag slung across her back is very obviously made for carrying a sword, though her stance is pretty casual. "Hmm. So this is the Tamamo-no-mae in the flesh." Yomi peers at the no-longer-fox woman for a moment, then at Nozomi. "And this must be your cute husband, hm?" She gives a teasing smirk at the poor girl, one hand resting on her hip.

"...aaaaand that was a robot tiger, wasn't it?" Yomi blinks a few times as she peers up toward the rooftops. "Just make sure he doesn't get spotted by any aircraft. He'd get just as much attention as you two..."
Tamamo no Mae     Tamamo moves to collect Nozomi, pulling her husband to her side tightly. "Mm, I could but... this may be a slight bit more recognizable." she responds to Taiga, watching him move to the rooftops with a chuckle. "He's very protective of you, just like me. If it wasn't for this place, I would hide you in my ring." she gives a teasing grin to her Master before a familiar voice calls out to her.

There's a strange thing that makes Tamamo's invisible (to most normal people's) ears twitch... she can't quite place it but... "Well, it wouldn't do to make you wait, Yomi." she comments before bowing politely, "Tamamo no Mae. Or, you can call me Daji in this look so you don't arouse suspicion in dealing with an 'evil spirit'." she teases a bit before dragging Nozomi close. "This is Nozomi, my cute, beautiful, wonderful husband and Master. Go on, don't be shy, dear, introduce yourself!"
Nozomi Houken     "We... we met," Nozomi replies, after taking a moment to find her balance. ...and immediately shifting so that she's sort of half-hiding behind Tamamo. "Houken Nozomi. I... I was here a while back, for that... ah, that youkai. So was Taiga." The aforementioned robotiger peeks over the edge of the rooftop. "It will not be an issue. I am accustomed to rooftop travel. No fewer than four escape routes and six possible concealment vectors have already been selected." Nozomi just sort of... quietly stares up at the mechafeline.
Yomi Isayama As Nozomi is pushed forward, Yomi widens her eyes a bit. "Oh! I remember you, and that cat. You look different hiding behind Tam--ah... Daji like that." She nods once, reaching to pat Nozomi on the head. "Well! We did talk on the radio, but... Isayama Yomi." The girl gives a brief but polite bow to the pair before casting an amused glance toward the rooftops. "I'm not sure how I'd handle it if Ranguren could talk to me like that."

After one more look at the roofs, she turns and gestures down the street. "Come on, I'll lead the way. It's not too long a walk, but you're not going to find the best ramen place on any main street."
Tamamo no Mae     Aww, her mouse is hiding a bit. So adorable. "Nozomi, don't be rude, you don't need to hide behind me. I could just take you back into the ring if you want to hide love." she smiled a bit more before forcing her Nozomi in front of her. "Come now... walk my King." she tries to ego-boost her Master a bit... or embarras her, one of the two. She grins a bit, looking towards Yomi, following along.

"Ranguren, huh? What is it, if you don't mind me asking." as she follows behind the exorcist, after all, if she knew the best ramen shop, then by all means Tamamo's going to let her go! Though, something is eating at the back of her mind... something that... she got threatened with. And not by Yomi herself...
Nozomi Houken     Well, the embarrassment part works. Nozomi finds herself placed in front of Tamamo, and referred to as a king, and oh hey look at her blush. The fox asks just about the only real question Nozomi has, so instead she simply remains silent, opting to follow along with Yomi. Though the youkai hunter does bring up one thing she feels the need to reply to. "...it... it seems like most Tokyos are like that... I... I kind of like it." It's almost like some secret that you can only find by living there.

Up on the roof, Taiga is a silent shadow. He's pretty good - even the leaps from roof to roof aren't as loud as they seem like they should be, and they're timed with other sounds of the city such that they're almost unnoticeable unless you know what you're listening for.
Yomi Isayama Reaching a hand up, Yomi taps two fingers against the bag strapped to her back. "Ranguren is my spirit beast. He's a Nue bonded to my sword." She glances briefly over her shoulder at the pair. "He doesn't talk much, but he's been my partner ever since I inherited Shishiou."

Yomi slows down a bit and smiles, so she's not walking too far ahead of either of them. "This is really the only Tokyo I know well, but it makes sense, I suppose. So..." She pauses, letting herself lag back half a step to walk alongisde Tamamo. "I'm mostly certain you didn't come here just for the ramen or just to annoy me. Any other reasons you insisted on showing up here? Not that I mind if you brought your cute husband along." Leaning forward slightly, she waggles her fingers in a quick wave toward Nozomi. The girl is already fun to tease.
Tamamo no Mae     "I see." comes Tamamo's voice, "Mmm, this disguise is a bit hard to maintain... so..." and with a poof, she drops the disguise and continues on walking. "Ah, so a partner like my Master then." she smiles, "Ah, my own Japan has... changed a lot." she comments, "I kind of miss the old kingdoms but..." she gives a light chuckle, "Oh well." she continues walking, ruffling her Master's hair gently.

Then it comes up, "Oh, no, I didn't just come here for Ramen. I am genuinely interested in expanding my territory which is why I came. Partially to see how hard it would be to take over..." at least the fox is honest, "That... and try to outdo this Saber that I know." a pause... "See, this Saber, oddly enough, has a job. I could use one as well~" a pause "And since there's a bunch of spirits here already, I'd fit right in without bothering people! I Mean, no one's going to bat an eye at a maid-dressed fox girl, now are they?" she winks at Yomi and Nozomi some.
Nozomi Houken     Oh god, now Yomi's getting in on the act. Nozomi finds something very conveniently over -> there to look at. And then she's ruffled. If she were the flailing type, she absolutely would be by now.

Tamamo has her own things to explain, so the mousy girl just sticks to her own response to Yomi. "Taiga is... he's... well, I can't really say much, but he's a government project, from back home. They... they didn't like relying on magical girls, and secret societies, and... stuff like that. So they started a project."
Yomi Isayama It's Nozomi's own fault for being so cute and easy to tease, really. Besides, Yomi's big sister vibes are strong in both caring and playing. "Something like..." She trails off as Tamamo reverts her form back. Eyes a little wide, she glances around quickly, as if checking to see if anyone saw that. Or specific anyones. "Warn me next time you do that..." She glances back to Tamamo, a bit nervously. "If any of the PDCH was around to see that, it'd cause a panic." Reaching up, she presses a hand to her forehead. "But nobody's tried to shoot yet, so I guess it's fine..."

Letting out a sigh, she looks back at Nozomi. "So. Government project, huh? The Agency's part of the Ministry of the Environment, so I'm used to that sort of thing. We weren't really a project, though, so much as... Well, they needed someone to help against paranormal threats."

Another pause, and she looks at Tamamo. "I'm pretty sure the local Tamamo-no-mae would object if you tried. I would really rather not have a turf war in the city. Things are bad enough as is." She considers thoughtfully. "Though just -being- here seems to be okay..."
Tamamo no Mae     "Tamamo doesn't have to warn /anyone/ but her Husband." she ripostes the little warning. "But I'll forgive your little indiscrestion towards the Queen." she grins, taking a look back towards Yomi as she continues, listening to her Master's commentary. "Government project... and here I keep having him sleep outside the door to My Room." a pause, "Or try. Bugger keeps sneaking back in. oh well." she grins a bit at this, "So where's the ramen place?"

Though, when mentioning the /other/ Tamamo, she perks, "I would like to meet this other Tamamo, it would be a... good meeting, would it not?" she smiles, of course, TWO of Tamamo would not be /good/. "But I suppose just being here would be okay. Now, about 'work', so I can show up this Saber...."
Nozomi Houken     "Tamamo," Nozomi says, her voice soft - but perhaps a little scolding. "...starting a fight in public would... would get other people involved."

From up on the rooftop there's a simple reply to Tamamo. "One of my primary functions is the protection of my user. I prefer to be as close as possible without interfering in her sleeping patterns." She looks up to the rooftops, then nods a little. "He's always close by. When... when we're back home, he lays on the roof, right over my window."
Yomi Isayama There's a little glare from the exorcist at the snap back, but she doesn't take it beyond just that look. "You're not making this any less difficult, you know." She rubs at the bridge of her nose for a moment. "Thank you, Nozomi. Look... I'm not trying to antagonize you." Yomi pauses, looking directly at the fox. "It's hard to get over the fact that you're the same person as the scourge of Japan who is responsible for thousands of deaths. And you're also -not- the same person, but..." She shakes her head. "I don't want to fight you, you know."

Yomi leads the pair down a smaller side street. "Nearly there. So he stays out at home? Ranguren stays in his sword except when he's needed... though I guess a Nue and a magical robot tiger are two separate things."
Tamamo no Mae     Tamamo looks back at Yomi some but when she hears her name from her Master, she looks down at her... "Tamamo will behave, Master." she says, albeit with a bit of dejection in her voice... "Yes, yes, I know. I know /quite/ well, cat. You always interrupt me when I want to be close to my husband!" she pouts and fluffs her tail up at the robokitty, a bit annoyed, but she follows Yomi some.

"I'm the same person, just a bit reformed, you know." her smile grows a bit wider, "And I'd rather not fight you, Master may get injured." she relaxes a bit and listens, "Well, I haven't seen what the robokitty can do, but I hear stories at least, so, ther'es that!"
Nozomi Houken     "Yeah, he... he can be a little more open at home," Nozomi replies, nodding faintly. "About thirty years ago, um... there was this really big battle, and... and, well, stuff like magic, and elves, and youkai, it's... it all went public." She has little to say on the topic aside from that, it seems; not much of one to volunteer information in general, though she's forthcoming when asked.

Taiga does not reply from the rooftop. There is no sentient robot here, only cat.

Of course, the topic switches around to what he can actually /do/, and that prompts him to be a bit more forthcoming as well. "Details of my functionality are restricted to present members of the Concord, but certain details have become public knowledge, or are available through former members of the Union Armed Forces. So I can at least state that my absolute core functionality is to transform into a set of magitech armor and accompanying armament, which my User is able to don and utilize."
Tamamo no Mae     "Oh, so that's why you need my Master outside of the Regalia at times!" Tamamo interrupts, looking up at the Cat. "Go on, go on."
Yomi Isayama The fluff and pout gets a giggle from Yomi. She can't help it, it's too adorable, even if she is still on her guard. "A bit reformed? Well... I suppose I can live with that." She glances back at Nozomi again, nodding slowly. "It'd be mass panic here if everything like that got out... not that people would understand it. Some of the spirits are... dangerous. Very, very dangerous..." Yomi trails off, glancing down briefly...

...but soon enough lifts her head. "And we're here. I know it doesn't look like much, but..." It really is just a streetside stall, with only enough stools for six people, and curtains covering it. Yomi pulls the curtains aside so the other two can step in and take their seats. "Armor, huh?" She files away a reminder to look this up later, but it isn't really high priority. "Both of you, go ahead and order what you want. I sweet talked Ayame into having the Agency pay for it."
Nozomi Houken     "There is little more that I can offer with a member of the Paladins present," Taiga replies. "My apologies. It is not a slight against you, Miss Isayama. My core programming includes certain degrees of security." There is a brief pause, before he adds, "I can say that there are reasons that my user and I both do not consider the transformation a first resort." After that, he goes quiet.

But there's a soft little mumble from Nozomi. "I... I-I don't like it." So it's not just something like collateral concerns, then...

But oh hey. Food. She slides into a seat quite readily, then looks over a menu thoughtfully. "I..." Blink. "...chicken katsu ramen? I... I could try that."
